Now I’m Not Saying That I Should Be Allowed To Design Servants For Fate, But....
Summer Unit, Caster Chiron has Arrived! As the immortal Caretaker and Teacher of Mount Pelion, there’s little doubt that he knows all the tips and tricks to survive a coastal month in the sun. What’s that? The Constellation is wrong? Sagittarius? Don’t be silly, Chiron’s always embodied the Constellation Centaurus. Always.
Costume Dress(es), Individual Stills for the new Sprites (Asc 3), Notes, and Taglist below the cut :)
That "Always" bit is meant to be somewhat ominous which hints at the whole "rewriting and creating heroes" idea in my last post about this Eternal Summer Stage event.
And if i am to be 100% honest, I don't quite like the final result still in terms of the toga, however, I know that if I keep working on it it will never get done and that's just the way that artists are lol. The effects and everything else though? Beyond what I was even expecting for it to turn out as.
Anywho.
In terms of design, I was mostly just going for the "Dad who has the Cooler" with a casual look for the first two designs and the costume dress really isn't a drastic change either just being called Hatless. The final ascension was a more divine feel where you get that connection with the stars and space that Chiron has due to his constellations. The Costume change there is just "Divine Blessing". I honestly couldn't pick between the two colors so. Costume Dress.
So. Anyways. Each of the stars in the final ascension design are the major "Centauri" stars within Centaurus, the Constellation that Chiron/his NP is embodying here rather than Sagittarius.
The large star that Chiron has in hand is Theta Centauri, also called Menkent, and then the ones on the staff are Alpha-Gamma Centauri.
The top three stars are Alpha Centauri or Rigil Kentaurus and Toliman, and Proxima Centauri. The three make up the full Alpha Centauri as the two blue stars are a binary system that Proxima orbits
The middle two are Beta Centauri or Hadar and Agena, another binary star pair
The lower two are Gamma Centauri which is another binary star group but are unnamed
Actually, the myth of Centaurus is a little wonky because certain texts refer to Centaurus as the Father of all Centaurs and the constellation is because he put an image of himself in the sky where others point to it being the other constellation that Zeus turned Chiron into instead of Sagittarius. Honestly, I'm more inclined to the latter due to conflicting texts about mount Pelion and the Centaurs themselves as it's implied that Chiron was already on Pelion before the other Centaurs arrived in some texts
("The Kentauroi were spawned by the cloud-nymph Nephele after she was violated by the impious Lapith king Ixion. She deposited her double-formed brood on Mount Pelion where they were nursed by the daughters of the immortal kentauros Kheiron (Chiron).")
So at least in this/my version of Myth/Fate, Centaurus is Chiron as a Caster and Healer but no less a teacher, rather than the more combat-ready and "war-like" Sagittarius.
I don't have everything mapped out, but I do have skills and NP sorta created, if I actually ever get to the full thing, who is to say lmao.
1st Skill: Seaside Planning
Buffs Healing Skill (self), Attack up (all units)
2nd Skill: Teacher's Guiding Hand
Target Focus (1 turn), Invincibility (1 turn), Defense up for all units, Battlefield change to Forest
3rd Skill: Blessing of Artemis / Blessing of Apollo (costume change)
Applies "Blessings of the Moon" or “Blessings of the Sun” to all units ( Defense Up, Heal Per Turn, NP gain Up, Crit Up)
Noble Phantasm: Hunt of Lupus: Protector of Mount Pelion | Quick
Rank: A NP Type: Anti-Personnel Range: 5-99 Maximum Targets: 1
A single target Noble Phantasm much like Antares Snipe, however, while Sagittarius uses a bow, Centaurus uses his staff to sweep through and pierce the body of Lupus. This is the story of Chiron. However, here, his job is not finished. The slaying of "Lupis" ends, and thus the Teacher and protector of Pelion returns to those he protects and tends to them.
At its base, one could call it the Single Target version of Geronimo's Tsago Degi Naleya in which it deals damage and heals the party after.
"Entrust to me the stars and my Guiding hand shall lead you, o watchmen of the night. I encircle myself twice with the seven heavenly bodies so that I may continue my role among the stars. You who has woken me, fall. Hunt of Lupus."
Truth be told, still workshopping the Noble Phantasm, but it's fine, it's out there as a concept. It's a lot like Antares Snipe though, I guess? Because I did want to lean into the Greek and Constellation side of things and just. Oh well. Originally, though, I was going to make Chiron and Chariclo one Servant, and then have their Noble Phantasm be Chariclo's ("Lifeblood of Mount Pelion") but then split them up because idk I enjoy hell. They're both casters though, because I refuse to put more Rulers into the already bloated Ruler cast.
I do not have voice lines at the moment despite the fact that I have all of Chariclo and all of Agravain's finished lol

Shazam/Captain Marvel (DCU) x FGO Idea
Something I’ve been on and off writing plot points of is a DC Comic x FGO crossover idea where Billy Batson (Captain Marvel/Shazam) is the Master of Chaldea.
Now my knowledge of Billy Batson isn’t that great but I’ve done some research on this character to think he would be a good idea. Plus his connection to the Rock of Eternity and Shazam/Captain Marvel transformation opens up a nice can of worms. Even if my knowledge of Fate Series is mostly FGO and watching some of the Fate shows.
Anyways, Chaldea Master Billy Batson but he doesn’t transform into Shazam during the Singularities except for the Final Singularity. Also Constantine is there cause I like the fanfic author’s dynamics between him and Billy.
Some info of this crossover idea below
Premise is that Billy has been a Justice League member of the Justice League since he was 10 and been Shazam since he was 9 years old. His age and identity has been revealed when he is 12 because of a mission going wrong.
Here is a very small blurb of the Prologue (Singularity F) Section I wrote when I was writing this idea. It explains a the reason Billy is at Chaldea
Billy was 12 years old when he was chosen as the last Master of Humanity. 12 when he started a long battle to save humanity, 13 when he was bestowed the ranking of Cause, 14 when the last Epic of Remnant was taken care of. The battles he faces as Captain Marvel and Billy are nothing compared to what he experienced during the time spent with Chaldea.
Three years of war, hardship, struggle, death, life, joy, experience, companionship, and love.
This is his story of his time with Chaldea.
——
It’s been about a month since Billy revealed his true identity to the Justice League, two years since he was recruited into the Justice League, and three years since he was given the powers of Shazam. Yet, ever since they found out about his true age, Billy has been treated as- as a kid! Instead of a respected Superhero and “co-worker”, as the others put it, before his reveal.
At first he didn’t mind, but the longer it went on, the more he became sick of it. He needed a break.
His answer came as a call from John Constantine about requesting assistance for a job outside Fawcett City. Not as Captain Marvel, but as Billy Batson. Billy was curious about the distinction between the two identities, but agreed to it in the end. Fawcett City and the Justice League would be fine without him for a couple of days. Right?
If Billy could jump back to this exact point in time, he would have told his past self that it is actually longer than a couple of days.
In this AU, Zatanna is the on originally tasked by the Justice League Dark to observe Chaldea’s First Rayshift and give back a report. However, something comes up for her as the days dwindle down to the First Rayshift. She contacts John Constantine to go to Chaldea in place of her and he accepts.
Constantine remembers how Billy isn’t doing so well after the identity reveal and decides to bring him along. He contacts the boy under the guise of needing assistance that Captain Marvel can only help with. Billy agrees and the respective parties of Justice League Dark and Chaldea are contacted about this change. Which is also verified by Zatanna to avoid any breaches of security.
As John Constantine and Billy Batson prepare for the trip to Chaldea. Constantine stresses to Billy that he is at Chaldea as his ward and not Captain Marvel. The adult also tells Billy that he shouldn’t transform into Captain Marvel unless strictly necessary.
“Think of this as a learning experience for when you need to go to some magic place as Billy instead of Cap. You need to build some rep, kid. Here is a great place to do so”
Which Billy begrudgingly accepts the reasoning.
Which then leads to Billy and Constantine in Chaldea. Where Billy is immediately separated from Constantine somehow and is whisked away by Chaldea Staff to the Simulation Room. John Constantine lowkey panics over his ward’s disappearance while Billy goes through the FGO demo fight after realizing that he can’t get out any other way without exposing his Superhero alias.
Billy exist the Simulation Room and has the canon prologue interaction with Mash, Fou and Lev. Except that Lev gives Billy a piggyback ride to the entrance Rayshift Room. Lev’a reasoning is that it is faster than waiting for Billy’s short legs to keep up. It has nothing to do with the faintly familiar feeling of Solomon that the demon inside of him feels towards the young boy
Upon entering the Rayshift Room, Billy and Constantine meets each others eyes and is basically this
Then the meeting starts and Billy feels the magical exhaustion on him. The young boy is kicked out and is told to rest. Constantine volunteers to help Billy “like a Hero would do”. Which is instead a stressful conversation between the two on the way to Billy’s room on how did Billy end up in this situation.
After dropping Billy off, Constantine heads back to the Rayshift Room. When Billy is about to enter, he feels a pulse of familiarity on whoever is waiting on the other side of the room and when it opens to reveal Dr. Romani, Billy is relieved, disappointed, and a foreign feeling of surprise not his own.
Then the whole Rayshift disaster happens but Constantine survived it with a bit more of Chaldea Staff than FGO canon because of Constantine’s quick reactions.
When Billy ends up at Singularity F, he realizes that he can’t transform into Captain Marvel and scrambles to learn how to play the support role as a Master Candidate.
Lots of events happen and in the end, Billy realizes that he has to help Chaldea with the Singularities as himself instead of Justice League member Captain Marvel. Anticipation, excitement, fear and worry flood his veins as he goes on a journey of self-discovery and what it means to him to be a hero and magic user Billy Batson.
——
That is basically what I have for the beginning of it all without divulging into the main story of FGO.
Few other things I want to mention about this AU/Crossover idea
Billy can’t transform into Captain Marvel during the Singularities.
This is to make sure that Humanity is judged by themselves and not through the “Blessed Human of the Gods”. Also if Captain Marvel is in a Singularity for a prolonged period of time, the Singularity may destabilize and that would be an entirely new threat that no one is equipped to deal with. Plus Billy hasn’t made a contract with Shazam at any point when the Singularities happen. So no transformation but the Gods can send messages into Billy’s head/influence him to an extent.
The Gods look at Billy during the Rayshifts as “Ah, yes. Master of Chaldea. How can we assist you and have fun on your journey to restoring Humanity’s growth past 201x?” and “Who is this child that feels like blessings we don’t remember gifting? He feels nostalgic and anticipated. We shall send impressions on him to know that he has our support”
During the present day, Billy can transform into Captain Marvel whenever he pleases.
Summoning Servants
When Billy can perform his first summoning, Medea is the first Servant to answer his call. Then later in Chaldea, Heracles is able to answer and followed by Artemis-Orion after the dumpling event. Chaldea notices how Greek Servants flock to Billy and wonder why.
When Billy reveals himself to be Captain Marvel with the blessings of Greek Gods, then Chaldea understands that this boys is a walking catalyst for any Greek Servant.
State of John Constantine
John Constantine is in a coma after the explosion. He doesn’t wake up until the middle of the Okeanos Singularity. Has an internal breakdown when learning about the state of the world. Swears a storm when he realizes that Billy is going through Singularities as himself and can’t transform into Captain Marvel for extra protection.
When he recovered enough, he sets himself up as the main Justice League representative and starts building a report to give to the League. Hopefully this will help Chaldea from being perceived as a threat under the eyes of the Justice League and give them some protection. Everyone at Chaldea deserves it when (if) they are able to clear the Singularities and restore Earth to how it was before.
In the meantime, Constantine helps out where he can around Chaldea. But mainly watches over Billy to make sure he is doing alright outside of Singularities. During Singularities, he observes with the rest of the Chaldea Staff. Takes over for Dr. Romani and Da Vinci when there are pockets of travel/downtime in the Singularities for the two to rest a bit.
In the Minute Singularities, Constantine is sometimes dragged into them if the Threat level isn’t too high. Why? Completely by accident via Chaldea Servant chaos. He would be also traumatized by the Halloween Singularities if it wasn’t for the good alcohol in them.
Situation with the Watchtower
Since the Watchtower is in space, and farther away from any satellites, it isn’t affected by the mass sleeping effect on Earth. But in turn, anyone on Earth is affected by the sleeping effect. Meaning Superman, Impulse, Martians, etc. are affected. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem, but when the phenomenon on Earth happened, most of the Superheroes and vigilantes are on Earth to deal with a major problem.
Who is left in the Watchtower while Chaldea clears the Singularities depends on the writer. For me, I think Black Canary, Dolphin, Martian Manhunter, Donna the Outlaws (old and new), and most if not all of the Earth Lanterns. Plus some Heroes who have future vision/clairvoyance high enough to notice a disaster swiftly approaching and have enough time to get to a Zeta Tube.
—
Well this is it for now. Might make a part two depending on how I feel.

Vienna/Salieri related Singularity below because I needed to share my brainrot full of nerd arcane knowledge from my music classes in 5th grade so expect nerd arcane knowledge with added references, delusions, bad life choices and inaccuracies (also since its a delulu setting watch me screw entirety of FGO canon) ANYWAY FUCK IT WE BALL THAT’S MY SINGULARITY
Vienna: Revolution and The Little Tragedy of a Kapellmeister
- Events take place in 1825, in Vienna at time of ruling of Francis I when Holy Roman Empire fell and Austrian Empire was established. More specifically it takes place after May of 1825, and significant story divergence takes place after Francis I have died 10 years earlier than he was supposed to in 1935. This event is supposedly connected to a group of people that desire the return of HRE to its former glory and reestablishment of an absolute monarchy.
- Upon arrival in singularity, it’s pretty clear that entire thing was successful and countries that were established after HRE’s fall exist no more. Results of HRE’s fall and French Revolution were also annulated. this in itself threatens human foundation because as a result it shows futility of revolution and results in social and law stagnation.
- When collecting an information about current situation and facing an aggressive response from imperial army, Guda and Mash were aided by Camille Desmoulins (Archer, because as witness accounts state ‘… Desmoulins [was] among them arming himself with a bayonet rifle and two pistols, and embarked upon the Storming of the Bastille’) and Maximilien Robespierre (Berserker, because Robespierre faced growing disillusionment among others due in part to the politically motivated violence advocated by the Montagnards), who are also hunted by imperial forces due to being two among many famous figures who instigated French Revolution that ultimately led to fall of monarchy not only in France but later in Europe as a whole. These two are reluctant to work together and constantly exchange acidic comments, mostly Desmoulins, because he’s angry at his ex-friend for betraying their goal of freeing the country of an absolute monarchy and Robespierre being a supporter of Terror policy and resulting in their ultimate executions. These two agree to set aside their bitterness and work together with Guda to set human history back on track, because they were the ones to start French Revolution, even if it didn’t turn exactly the way they wanted it, it was still a big moment in humanity’s history.
- Further information gathering put things to more clarity: current ruler of New HRE is Joseph II who by this time is supposed to be dead. Main crew does get a chance to encounter him but ultimately is unable to defeat him as he’s now - he’s clearly in possession of a Holy Grail but appears to be in clear enough mind to be negotiated with. Furthermore, Joseph II is clearly aware that his existence contradicts proper flow of human history, he acknowledges that his actions ultimately will bring destruction to foundation of humanity, and he’s genuinely sad he has to do it, but he also wants to do it because everyone he held dear were destroyed by humans with excessive cruelty. At that moment Avenger Marie Antoinette appears and upon seeing Robespierre and Desmoulins initiates battle out of anger towards people who started her downfall which resulted in beheading. Clearly being overpowered, Guda and company retreat. After that Joseph and Marie decide to pay a visit to Salieri.
- While being pursued by imperial soldiers, they are aided by Marianna Auenbrugger (Caster) and Joseph Haydn (Caster) who escort them to a hideout where other various musicians and composers are hiding. It’s pretty much a company of Casters and a Berserker (Beethoven) who are puzzled at such turn of events - if Joseph II has issues with Revolution and downfall of monarchy as a whole, then why all of them - musicians and composers - were summoned as well, at the same time. Furthermore, they all are also being actively hunted by imperial soldiers.
- Back in Palace Marie is happily chatting with barely conscious Salieri. After she leaves, small shadow materializes and approaches Salieri promising him a soon arriving salvation. At the same time, Joseph has a conversation with Napoleon, but it’s not going that great. Joseph understands Napoleon’s desire to become an Emperor once again but he’s also not allowing him to take rule over country again, not after such spectacular failure. Multiple monarchs do not mix well. Aside from desire to reclaim his position, Napoleon also wants a rematch for that shameful result of Battle of Borodino.
- In middle of discussion among Guda and others arrives Pyotr Bagration (Rider, since in Battle of Borodino he was injured while riding a horse) and informs others that apparently they need to move or else they’ll be found and none of them are in proper state to fight back. In middle of moving they meet Andrei Bolkonsky (Saber) who gladly agrees to join and discusses with Bagration their real and fictional experiences at Battle of Borodino. Bolkonsky also mentions that he saw Pushkin wandering streets of Vienna until he was chased down by soldiers. Bolkonsky himself was ignored by soldiers despite being a man who participated in war, yet a writer and poet is chased aggressively.
- Just as they move, they stumble upon Pushkin being cornered. After helping him out, Pushkin (Archer, he himself is puzzled at being summoned not as Caster but as Archer due to his last duel) provides information that hunt after him was a specific priority order from Joseph II. Eventually it was deducted that the reason for specific hunt after Pushkin and other musicians is because of Salieri, whose role in this Singularity is unknown. More accurately to say it’s because of Pushkin’s ‘The Little Tragedies’ cycle, specifically ’Mozart and Salieri’ that was one of the reasons for Salieri’s false fame as a jealous murderer. At the same time palace if full of masterful piano play. In his chambers Salieri patiently listens to a child playing a piano. Salieri, still tired and barely conscious, praises said child before falling asleep. Child goes out and stumbles upon Joseph. ‘Keep going and you’ll forever erase my existence from his. That’s what we both want, aren’t we?’
- After circle of soldiers becoming smaller and smaller it was agreed to launch an assault on Joseph’s residence and claim grail from him, especially now that they know the reason for his actions. At entrance they’re greeted by Napoleon who refuses to let them pass. Bagration isn’t happy to see familiar face, just as Bolkonsky. Fight ensues and in middle of it appears Dantès to aid a little because apparently he’s not a fan of Napoleon and remembering whole thing that was the reason for him imprisonment he can’t deny himself the chance for a little revenge. In the end, Bagration, Bolkonsky, Dantès stay to deal with Napoleon. Before separation Pushkin jokes about meeting Dantès but not the one who shot him (d'Anthès) /a play of phonetics because in Russian both d'Anthès and Dantès sound the same/
- Further in Palace they encounter Marie Antoinette. She does mention how it’s ironic how she and them (Desmoulins and Robespierre) were beheaded for sake and as a result of Revolution. She asks them if ending like they did was worth it. They in return ask if beautiful and compassionate queen that held her head high at her own execution and loved her people would bitterly destroy bright future of her people and country over bitterness and anger. Marie desires to behead them herself just to see how it feels to be on other side of guillotine.
- Guda and Mash with others encounter Joseph and ask him why exactly he’s doing that. Joseph doesn’t really answer, but does mention that it’s not only about anger and frustration, it’s also about love and compassion. He does mention that humanity is plagued with idiocy and lack of thinking, and thus it has no right to exist. Joseph also mentions that he doesn’t care about restoring monarchy, it was about his closest people he cared the most about, but seeing Napoleon being summoned it did paint a clear picture of natural power struggle. As of seeing Pushkin, he becomes clearly obsessed with targeting him. ‘After all you’re one of the reasons he ended up like that. Unforgivable, absolutely unforgivable. It’s a shame Mozart wasn’t summoned, I would’ve liked to put my sword through his neck.’
- After Joseph’s defeat appears a little boy and takes Holy Grail. Disappearing Joseph calls him ‘Salieri’ before bitterly correcting himself and calling little boy ‘A cursed abomination’. Supposedly ‘Salieri’ stabs him with Blade of Wildlife saying that Joseph himself did an awfully bad job at granting Salieri’s wish and by analogy getting rid of ‘him’. After that ‘Salieri’ addresses Pushkin as ‘one of his creators’ and uses Grail to fully transform and don Wailing Facade. After near defeat he, barely holding himself together, runs away. Guda and others chase him only to find a little ‘Salieri’ with damaged spirit origin protectively covering a man on bed whom Beethoven recognizes as Antonio Salieri. Both boy and man are Servants and have awfully unstable yet almost identical Spirit Origin.
- Actual Antonio Salieri comforts little ‘him’ and thanks him for granting his actual wish of seeing people he loved once again. ‘Salieri’ retorts that his true wish was desire to get rid of ‘Salieri who murdered Mozart’ and humanity as whole, that was the thought of dying Salieri. Salieri explains that it was a momentary hate and bitterness that colored his last moments in life he ultimately never regretted. Just as he embraces ‘Salieri’, he says, that despite everything he does not regret ‘Salieri’ or ‘Gray Man’ existence, because despite their weird and unstable situation he’s the one keeping Salieri’s Spirit Origin somewhat whole and allowing Salieri to manifest at all, since myth is much more famous than actual person.
- After Salieri’s death, his bitterness and rumors along with fake accusation merged into ‘Salieri’ who shared feelings and memories of real Salieri. Gaining his own sentience as ‘Salieri who murdered Mozart’, this ‘Salieri’ was angry at humanity for doing this to a simple man who was too nice to be treated like that at end of his life and decided to carry out his last wish with Grail that was given to him. To maintain proper existence he used grail to summon Salieri. Then Joseph, but Joseph despises ‘Salieri’ for being a product that ruined actual Salieri he cares about. ‘Salieri’ proposes a deal: Joseph can’t kill ‘Salieri’ for it will send both him and Salieri back to Throne or even worse completely damages their Spirit Origin so they’ll never be summoned again. Instead, Joseph can take this as a chance to destroy the world that executed his precious little sister and completely twisted his beloved kapellmeister. By doing that Joseph will erase future where Salieri is known as ‘Salieri who murdered Mozart’, which means Salieri won’t have to suffer anymore.
- In the end Salieri apologizes for all the trouble. Salieri says that he doesn’t regret ‘Salieri’ being a part of him and asks ‘Salieri’ to give Grail to Guda. After it’s done, Singularity starts to fix itself, Salieri disappears first as a summon of Grail and ‘Salieri’ follows. Salieri wishes that next time they’ll meet it will be a willing peaceful summon for them both as whole, much stable existence.
- After that in Chaldea before Salieri is summoned, Joseph is summoned first because he needs to keep an eye on both his sister and beloved kapellmeister. After that Salieri is summoned as a Double class - Antonio Salieri (Ruler) and ‘Antonio Salieri’ (Avenger) /aka local tired man keeps check and adopts a shy but feral child who occasionally wants to stab Mozart, Pushkin and Joseph II with different states of success/.

you’re never going to have a real conversation about racism, colorism, misogyny, pedo-pandering etc in regards to gacha if you’re looking at one single game, especially a relatively new one. like anything, this will be a superficial look at these problems with no understanding of root causes. this has been most apparent when users will say “don’t play X gacha, play Y gacha instead.” these are industry-wide problems. you’re not doing anyone any favors pretending otherwise. I’m not saying this because I love or hate any of these games, I don’t really care, I’m not coming into conversations about this with the mindset of a “fan”. You need to objectively look at the function of these games in the society from which they come and the relation they have with their target market. Your frame of mind needs to be out of “fandom” mode to do this. You need to understand the target market these games try to reach and their reputation in their country of origin. The games are technically “free” - the consumer is not paying for the story, music, worldbuilding, etc. they are paying large amounts of money (for actual big spenders, thousands per month) to gamble for singular characters, so in turn these characters’ designs must reflect what the consumer most desires to an extreme extent- and this is of course informed by a lifetime’s worth of societal conditioning (media/advertising/gov/etc) and the prejudices that entails. essentially, because everything is banking on selling these characters, the designs are a direct reflection of the consumerbase who in turn are reflections of the society they’ve been conditioned by. they get shown what they want to see and expect to see what they get shown in what eventually becomes a feedback loop that enforces itself, this isn’t unique to gacha (though it’s extremely visible), you can see this happening in other forms of media as well. for something more benign, an example is in US media the eagle’s cry was replaced by the more dramatic sounding red tailed hawk because that’s what viewers expected it to sound like, and after seeing so much media where the eagle is associated with the hawk sound clip this falsity became reality to them through this “movie magic”. It doesn’t matter what reality is, it matters what the viewer’s perception of reality is. Power produces reality. media like this is used not so benignly. this is why good representation in media is fought for, there’s the ability to have a huge effect on a populace, also why “all art is political” it’s who greenlites it, who funds it, who hosts it, where is it shown, who sees it, etc this is all politics. all of this is related.
I would say the average gacha design/character doesn’t want to challenge anything but use the signifiers of contemporary stereotypes already rigidly in place to flatter the consumer’s already held beliefs- and typically it boils down to this is the “demure” (most often East Asian) girl who will fuck you, this is the “exotic” (most often generic fantasy SWANA-like stereotyped) girl who will fuck you, this is the “motherly” girl who will fuck you, this is the “little girl” who will fuck you, this is the “angry” girl that says she hates you but you still own, this is your “cool bro” who is designed to not make men feel uncomfortable. by doing this they are also entering the feedback loop of, for example, racial stereotyping, so this absolutely isn’t to say these designs are harmless.. one year thigh straps are in, one year bare feet are in, one year tech accessories are in, every year racism is in, every year misogyny is in. If you’re coming into this thinking a game like Genshin is leading the pack in any of these areas besides being an open world game and its UI you’re kidding yourself. There are thousands of these games, they’ve been coming out since like 2012 with Puzzle & Dragons, LL:SIF was huge on this website when Nozomi was the designated “thick” anime girl (plus ça change), FGO started in back 2015 and continues to reach new heights of pedophilic design and racism each day. The reason why you will sometimes see riskier design choices in music, NPCs, side stories, background design is that no one is paying to gamble for those things.

Good morning my dear fellow!
As I stated prior, January 2024 will be no FGO month. No new fgo prompt will be posted during January.
Is considered an FGO prompt:
Any prompt that features FGO-only characters
Any prompt that takes place in Chaldea
Any prompt that takes place during one of FGO’s singularity or lostbelt (fan-made lostbelt, singularities, or other prompts that use FGO worldbuilding elements are fine)
The goal of non-FGO month is to give other fandoms the spotlight, considering the massive amount of FGO prompts we receive on the daily. Remember: This is a nasuverse kink meme, not an fgo kink meme. All things Type-Moon are okay!
FGO-onlies are encouraged to see this event as an FGO-specific fillathon. You are encouraged to:
Fill prompts
Bump old prompts
Comment/reblog old fills
FGO fills are still allowed. Bumps of FGO fills are still allowed. Only sending new FGO prompts is disallowed.
That’s it! Have fun!

Fated Rantings: Where to start Fate
A scary question, believe me I know.
I asked my own self this question over a year ago now after finding myself lured into the series through lore videos like a child being led by candy. I even started FGO just because it was a free way to begin the series.
Would I recommend that for everyone? No. Fate Grand Order (FGO) is a gacha game after all. Unless you have the patience to grind or cheese your battles like me you'll give in fast and I’d never recommend someone giving money to a gacha game.
Although, if you're already into Fate or just genuinely curious about FGO then I can confirm that it has some of the best written stories I've ever seen. I won't claim every singularity (arc) as a banger but there are some that are legitimately good.
I'd also recommend you be wary if you think that watching the FGO anime is enough. That's more of a companion piece to the gacha than a true adaption.
Where to actually begin
So with my warnings of FGO aside where is the best place to begin the Fate series? Where does the story begin and what is the latest entry?
Fair questions but don't let many fans fool you. There is no one starting point to the Fate series. The reason for this is a simple one;
Every Fate story is on it's own timeline
Nasu Kinoko the writer who created the original 'Fate/Stay Night' stated as much.
Now this doesn't mean that some of his works are "not canon". It's actually the opposite, "everything is canon".
Nasu's company, Type-Moon, got off the ground with his visual novels 'Tsukihime', 'Fate/Stay Night', 'Kara no Kyoukai', and 'Mahoyo' among others. With each of these novels have multiple endings to them.
What confuses so many is them lacking the knowledge that these novels and their various endings share a universe. Some event in one could be mentioned in another. For example, "the church" from Tsukihime is very much present in Fate. The magecraft you see used in Mahoyo is the same magic system and society that pops up in Fate and Tsukihime.
In essence, Nasu's stories are sharing the same world but taking place at various points in that world.
Fate Specific
If you're curious about Mahoyo or Tsukihime then I'd recommend the remakes on Steam or Switch. If you're just genuinely curious what a visual novel is I'll leave you to discover them. I brought these things up because they're related.
For the Fate series in particular it was important that I explain them because this universe of multiple endings are all canon to a degree.
The reason many of you will find Fate hard to get into is because several Fate anime are based on these specific story routes from the visual novels.
The "Fate Route" was adapted as the Fate 2006 anime.
Unlimited Blade Works was adapted from the route of the same name.
Heaven's Feel is another route from the novel.
All three of these big anime names are routes from the same visual novel 'Fate/Stay Night'. Each route, and thus each anime, focuses on a heroine that the lead Shirou Emiya falls in love with.
So each show isn't some reboot or relaunch of a series, they're adaptions of a different timeline of events.
It does not stop at 'Fate/Stay Night' either
As I said earlier, some events are shared between them because these stories share a world and some things happened in each. The characters are citing world events from their perspective. For example;
In many version of Fate the 1st to 4th Holy Grail War happened.
In every version of Fate the "Age of Gods" came and went.
In most Fate stories there is a Rin Tohsaka or a Shirou Emiya somewhere in the world even if they do not appear in the narrative.
In every Type-Moon story the "Clocktower" exists.
Dead Apostles and vampires exist in most Type-Moon stories.
This may seem silly to some of you but I have pointed it out because there will be someone see something said in a Fate story and be confused because it doesn't quite line up with a Fate work they've previously seen.
Or they'll see things stated that makes them think two Fate stories are intrinsically linked when they aren't. If you still find that confusing then allow me to show you the famous Fate/Zero.
Fate/Zero
Many are told to "start here" because Fate/Zero is a prequel to 'Fate/Stay Night' which isn't entirely true.
Yes, Saber will reference the 4th Grail War and her hazy memories of it. She even remembers Shirou's adoptive father Kiritsugu Emiya.
But don't be fooled, that's where Nasu's statement comes in. He did not consider Fate/Zero canon to his novel.
However, that does not mean Saber is lying either. What this means is that the 4th war that Saber remembers in Fate Stay Night is a different conflict than what you see in Fate/Zero.
This is the best example of shared events not being the same per work. The anime of Fate/Zero is it's own timeline while the 4th war Saber mentions in the novel or anime adaptions was different.
We do not know what the exact differences are between Fate/Zero and the 4th Grail War Saber mentions in Fate/Stay Night but we know they existed.
Then you have stories in which the timeline diverted far earlier
These stories are much easier to dive into since their timelines diverged more drastically. In Fate 2006 or Heaven's Feel the point of divergence is the choice in love interest but for these stories the timeline diverges much earlier. For example;
Fate Grand Order actually takes place in a timeline in which there was only one Holy Grail War.
Fate Extra takes place in a world where there's a super computer lodged in the Moon that's been recording Earth's history for nearly 4 billion years.
In Fate Apocrypha there was only three Holy Grail Wars before someone managed to steal the Greater Grail during World War II.
Despite these three in particular being entirely removed from 'Fate/Stay Night's various routes they still fall back on the same world history. They just happen to diverge much earlier for various reasons.
This is relevant because they too will reference similar things but they're much easier to start with because their settings are more unique.
Though, you'll still will see Rin Tohsaka in Fate Extra. Waver Velvet from Fate/Zero also appears in many stories as his older self.
Actual Sequels or Prequels
Now before you have a heart attack with that sub title let me explain. Yes, I do still fully mean that each Fate story is essentially it's own thing.
However, I would be doing you a disservice if I did not warn you that a few have true sequels. I do not know every sequel across Type-Moons gallery of novels but I can warn you about Fate/Hollow Ataraxia.
Ataraxia is a true sequel to the original Fate/Stay Night visual novel. You don't need to play it to enjoy the FSN novel or it's anime adaptions but do not mistake Ataraxia as a solo story. This is the one time I will give you that warning after my long post arguing otherwise.
Granted, I am not sure where'd you come across Hollow Ataraxia but just be warned. This visual novel is a true sequel to Fate/Stay Night.
As for the various anime that's been adapted over the years, as I've said, many are just adaptions of a particular story route from the novel.
That said, if you came to view the anime as it's own pocket universe I could see why. Heaven's Feel, the movies, will even flashback to Fate/Zero scenes.
The character Velvet Waver from Fate/Zero has his own novel series and animes based on those novels. What does this knowledge mean for you my dear reader?
Nothing. I can see why someone would think this way but that doesn't mean you need to heed it. If someone gives you an anime list to watch in a particular order then I'd argue it's fine to either take that advice or ignore it.
At best, watching Fate/Zero will help you appreciate the El Melloi series more but it's also not necessary.
What I am telling you is that it can confuse many but you can start with any anime you're able to get ahold of.
Conclusions
I'm afraid I may have confused many of you more than I helped but I bothered to explain all of that just to say one thing;
"you can start wherever"
And I truly mean that. No matter what some insistent person tells you any Fate work can be your first Fate story. Where you go from there will be up to you.
The only two warnings I will over is that Hollow/Ataraxia is a true sequel so definitely don't start there assuming you can even find it. Secondly, do not start the FGO anime because Babylonia does not adapt the full FGO story.
The FGO anime is worth watching but it won't supplement it's source.
Now then, hopefully I've convinced you to try something. I'd personally recommend you watch Fate/Zero or Apocrypha to feel out the series but you can't quite literally start near anywhere.
So enjoy and bye~
P.S. yes that last image is an official timeline. It's not actually needed but it's neat. :D

how do i return to fgo, i want to enjoy the singularities but i always struggle with the gameplay?
I don't play FGO, but every FGO fan usually says, with good conscience, that one should stay away from it.
The only way I consume FGO is through gameplay videos online. It makes for a much better experience.

Alright so I used to be a fate fan but considering AmRev is history I can't help but mix the two now
So I'm dumping my thoughts about lams as servants!!!
(so some basic fate lore: servants are basically the ghosts of historical figures which are manifested by the holy grail, and serve the masters who summoned them. They fall under different classes such as Saber, Rider, and the such. Servants usually take the form of them in the "peak" of their life and usually the way they're manifested is also affected by the way they are perceived by history and not always by the person they actually were)
Okay so my ideas for lams if they were servants is !!
Alexander is a caster (although being a fighter, he is more well known for his writings. A good number of folks who were known for their writings end up manifested as a caster, so..)
John would be a saber/archer or rider (because he's mainly known for his service in the war)
(explaining some mechanics in fate/grand order now; you can summon servants of different rarities [1-5*] there thru gacha and they have three different ascensions[levels/outfits] that are unlocked as you level them up. You can also get free servants which are known as welfares -- they only have one Ascension form so they don't change outfits)
Now I'm dumping my ideas for them if they were in FGO !!
John is a welfare servant -- because his peak was only during war, and historically he's only known for being that man who was a firm abolitionist fighting for the rights of the enslaved, was "friends" with a founding father and died a soldier. So his singular ascension would only be him in the continental army uniform.
Alexander is different as a five star. He's a founding father, however disliked he was in his time, his life and his achievements are remembered today by many. So his ascensions go from that collegian student at King's College, to that revolutionary continental army soldier working by the side of Washington, and finally to the country's first Treasury secretary (along with the memories of everything after)
I've quit playing FGO for months now but I couldn't stop the brainrot
#ohhh i love yapping even tho i know no one'll care#alexander hamilton#john laurens#amrev#fate fanservant#rambling

Will you do more fan servants in the future?
Of course I will! But I can't promise that I'll design more fan servants soon since I'm pretty much busy in real life. Blame college. I'm still attached to Ur-Nungal and I'm currently making her short comic. Also, I need to finish the Singularity in FGO during the Holidays.

I decided that I better post the first and second ascensions before I went insane and did the third fully. Circe’s staff is a placeholder, but once I have all three I’ll post this again lol
Anyways, did you know that there’s almost zero muscular guys with their legs showing fully? I worked with Caligula but it was still a bit of a trial. There’s a lot more of guys who wear armor and leg coverings than you’d think!
I used and edited assets from Summer Robin Hood, Summer Blackbeard, and Waver (shirt), Rider Da Vinci (ponytail... hair not uh, horse tail), Summer Marie, Kiara, and Kiyohime (hat and flowers) , Caligula (as stated above), Summer Costume and Alter Emiya (Torso and cooler), and Lancer Arturia Alter (horse ears). Saddle bag and towel were hand done and everything else was taken and edited from Chiron’s own assets.
Not including the Draft Layers, Two Ascensions end up close to 400 Layers which seems like a lot but when you factor in the combination of color, lineart, shading and the shirt’s texturing, its a lot. Fate’s sprites are all cut up so you gotta make sure it all fits, yeah?
Anyways (again), I have a general plot line for the Summer Event with Caster Summer Chiron (tentatively called Eternal Summer Stage / Lost Summer Stage) and also the individual sets below the cut as well as the taglist
In general, I’m thinking that kinda like the Hawai’i event, this one takes place in Greece, but things are really different — either the nation’s been condensed or it’s impossible to tell where you are in Greece, even for the Greeks.
The premise is that something or someone is creating an influx of energy there, causing an unbalance or some shit but while the threat level is low, allowing for you to take your time (as all Summer events do), it still needs to be dealt with.
Chiron is your main companion Servant though he’s not the welfare one. He, alongside of a rather enthusiastic Li Shuwen and unmasked Berserker Lancelot— both of which are also Summer Servants for the first half wave (Li being either Saber or Berserker) and Lancelot being a Lancer but still Berserker’s more mellowed and gloomy character.
(Costume dress Servants are still up in the air but I’m weighing more on Hans Christian Biggerson and Geronimo, with the long overdue Hawai’i Cu, and Medusa)
Upon arrival, there’s all sorts of plays and performances going on up and down the coast and further inland where there’s a large village up against a Mountain. Both myth and man are mingling, to which Medusa and Chiron both note to be something much out of an ancient sort of tale (hence why Chiron can take his true form and no one cares).
The first half of the event is mostly solving the mystery of what this influx of energy even is— which is where you meet the second Summer Servants for the first half. Technically not Summer in terms of Class change, Ching Shih is the first you meet, dressed in that event’s other Costume Dress for her summer look. She’s happy to help, though there seems to be something a bit off about how easily things start to pop up after that. Plays pertaining to [ ] and other tales, along with even more heroic legends being spun and told. At night, you often run into an unknown woman who sits and chats with you about things as well.
All the while, Chiron seems to become more and more troubled as time goes on.
One night, however, you wander outside the inn because you can’t sleep only to get attacked by rouge Servants. This is when the second meeting happens— and it’s the “Dark fellow” that Ching Shih has been talking about. None other than Sir Agravain of Iron is here.
Though he recognizes you, he doesn’t say much on the matter, simply defeating the rouge Servants and sending them back to the Throne mercilessly. Post fight, Chiron arrives with Ching Shih and Li Shuwen and Agravain is formally introduced.
(There’s an entire thing about him wearing black armor and then you get his costume dress for free)
After that, the reveal that there’s all sorts of half-phantom-half-servants or rouge servants hiding about is finally confirmed though you’ve been fighting shadows and monsters before, the real task is at hand.
In general throughout the farming periods, the Servants will state that they are splitting up to investigate the area, kinda like the very first summer event where each location is a little bit of a sub story (Lancer-lot and Cu are at the shore investigating traces of magical energy with Geronimo, Li Shuwen and Medusa are investigating the plays and performances with Ching Shih, Biggerson and Agravain are in the town investigating there) so that’s there to get the rest of the costume dresses in the shop (Ching Shih, Cu, Medusa, Biggerson, Gero, etc)
The second half has much more to do with Chiron than the first, though he’s your companion for the first half.
Achilles joins the group, though like Ching Shih, he seems a bit odd, but he arrives and arrives with startling news which kicks off the second half of the event— the mountain against the town is Mount Pelion, the Birthplace of Greek Heroes.
This, of Course, has Chiron absolutely of kilter because suddenly he’s home. Ching Shih admits that she feels like a majority of the Singularity’s power is coming from the Mountain but didn’t want to risk going there because it’s crawling with phantom-servants— which only spurs Chiron to restate that he should still go to investigate there.
Everyone decides to go after that, because Chiron clearly isnt about to just up and let it go.
As you go through the mountain you learn a bit more about it from Chiron and Achilles, and Medusa inputs some that she knows. Agravain and Lancelot get into a minor fight, but it’s settled by Hans mostly, the usually in-between stuff.
Oh and did I mention that during this time there’s also cutscenes and non battle story from an unknown person’s POV within another space? Because there is.
In general, I’m still working out the middle chunks, but the ending is pretty much the arrival at Chiron’s Cave, only to be met by the mysterious woman who you’ve been talking to at night. It turns out that she’s Chariclo and she admits— or seems to admit— that she’s been summoning Servants from between the lines of history and Servants that normally have been gotten overlooked for some reason or another due to either being seen as not heroic enough, prejudiced factors, or they’ve simply been forgotten.
Some other stuff happens, and right when she’s about to say something pretty important you’re interrupted... by you.
Another version of you has arrived and it turns out that while Chariclo has been summoning and maintaining Servants, it wasn’t her choice. The other You has been having her do so in order to find [ ] and you know who that is— how could you not?
An argument breaks out, the other You is convinced that Chariclo has already summoned That Man, and while she doesn’t deny it, she states she can’t let the Other You into the Cave because it’ll ruin things. the Other You is determined, and perhaps a bit irrational with obsession to see That Man again and orders the Shadows to attack.
While almost every Servant is there for support, Achilles is not, and when the battles are done you realize why as Achilles stands by the Other You.
Chariclo is firm, continuing to refuse entry into the cave, and the Other You has had enough. Achilles is revealed to have not been Chaldea’s Achilles and apologizes before he’s ordered to kill Chariclo. Obviously, Chiron’s not about that, and takes the blow, severely wounding him.
Of course, this causes a chain reaction, as Li Shuwen and Agravain immoderately go for the kill on Achilles— the Other You makes a move for the Cave, you intercept Yourself because even though Chariclo might not have been a full alley, she had protected the Cave vehemently, Medusa and the others hold off the others are still fighting the shadows, before the mountain shakes.
While not dead, Chiron’s blood on Chariclo’s hands is enough to pull her from her passive state and forge a temporary contract with you. In combination, you and Chariclo stop the Other You and there’s a long conversation about grief and letting go before You and the shadows leave— either fading away or just leaving.
Once gone, Chariclo immediately has you bring Chiron into the cave so she can start healing him.
This is where you meet your welfare— none other than Romani Archaman himself. He’s weak, of course, but there and its a big reunion moment only to be interrupted by the Singularity destabilizing now that the Other You is gone.
There’s conflict, of course. Chariclo wasn’t lying when she said that Romani was too unstable to bring back. Similarly, the only reason she was able to appear, that she knows of, is because they are at Mount Pelion meaning she too is too unstable to follow a Rayshift. Unless a Holy Grail is used.
A choice is presented that you have to make, but all your choices are Romani, no matter how much you or Chiron want to bring Chariclo back as well. When you make your choice, Chariclo will present you a Grail and admit she didn’t use it on Romani at first because she was terrified what the Other You would do when Romani was stable.
With Romani Stabilized, everyone moves to head back down the Mountain for a rayshift back, but Chiron lingers. There’s grief, of course, but the two must say goodbye once more.
... Only, upon arriving in Chaldea, it turns out to not be the case.
Upon Chiron’s injury, Chariclo’s Noble Phantasm, “Lifeblood of Pelion”, quite literally used Chiron’s blood as fuel upon it being soaked into the ground. While they’re not the same as Ryoma and Oryou, as they’re separate Servants, Chiron and Chariclo’s origins linked and allowed for her to exist in Chaldea as another Caster. it’s a bittersweet ending, as Ching Shih and Agravain did not follow— but it’s no worry. Ching Shih stated that she’d see you again, and Agravain, while he didn’t say so, simply nodded in response.
( * Basically Ching Shih and Agravain are added to the permanent summon pool with Ching Shih being a 5* Rider and Agravain a 3* Assassin )
Chaldea Achilles remains extremely put out that he had been the one to harm Chariclo in the Singularity— and also annoyed he couldn’t go because he was busy making sure that Herc didn’t go off the rails.
Post event, the usual collection of the other 4 copies for the np5 welfare are unlocked along with a costume dress for Romani. Who is a Shielder class Servant.
So yeah. That’s basically the bare-bones of the idea. I don’t quite remember where the Shielder Romani idea came from but I saw a post on it and filed it away in my brain forever. The only reason Medusa, Cu, and Gero aren’t full servants is because I really couldn’t think of good classes for them. The only ones I can really think of for Gero is Avenger, and Medusa has alts for lancer and avenger, and Cu has alts for saber caster and berseker... also there’s the Servant pool of Ching Shih, Agravain, Chariclo, Chiron, and Li Shuwen, which is a hefty number even if the first two are perma summon.
If Third Asc Chiron doesn’t obliterate my soul then I’m probably going to work on Summer Li Shuwen next, or the Costume Dress trio of Gero, Medusa, and Cu. Then we’ll see about making those sprites where there’s no character base to use at all.. I might die (jk)
But when I do post the third ascension I’m going to include hatless Chiron because he’s got a lil bow hair tie and the horse ears are CUTE as hell
Anyways, Tag list below. Good god if you made it this far congratulations I know I ramble and make zero sense half the time

We've seen you talk about the other writers a handful of times, so penny for your thoughts on OKSG?
OKSG is a pretty limited person. He knows the things he knows in a lot of depth, but it doesn't feel like knows a lot of things, or at least to broaden his content repertoire. He's OKSG, the guy from Oita who made and managed Type-Moon's website. This sentence is enough to track back to all his content.
He's enough of a Sei Shounagon fan to name himself after her okashige aesthetic, and proves his merit by making really obscure references to factoids about her. He's from Oita and proves by making an Azumi no Isora character based on a version of his myth accepted only in one (1) shrine located probably where his childhood home is. He is a long-standing Type-Moon member, so most of his events are centered on past Type-Moon characters. He's a veteran web designer, so he shows off how online he is, but naturally mixing vintage and current memes in his character dialogue.
Well, he wrote little enough that I can comment on everything. Starlit Marmalade can't make its slice of life fun, and Sarashina is a super boring villain. Nagiko's Valentine makes perfect decisions for what Nagiko's character should be, but the plot is about offensive parodies of The Tale of Genji and that's the part we're forced to sit through 80% of the time. It sucks for the reader as much as it sucks for Murasaki. Caren's Valentine is too bonkers to be funny. Bazett's Valentine is his best work, filling all the checkmarks of what a FGO Bazett story should do.
It's one of those events where Fujimaru solves a Singularity because Singularities are bad by default. There's no moral discussion against either Siebold or Umisachihiko. They're both virtuous and reasonable antagonists. There's no big stakes in the conflict, and most importantly, Fujimaru's victory feels unrewarding. Chikagi is more enjoyable when her story is not about Chidori and Isora's character is decently charming, but I don't feel like either of them built a personal enough connection to the antagonist duo.

For the previously inevitable, now upcoming, Fate Samurai Remnant collab event with FGO, there were three Servants I was really hoping would NOT be added to FGO: FSR Saber, Berserker Musashi, and Miyamoto Iori. And they've already added the first one. Sigh...
As for Berserker Musashi, if she's added to FGO, it would 1) undermine Musashi's erasure at the end of Olympus, 2) we already have Berserker Musashi with her summer version, it would be so much more confusion to add another Berserker Musashi, and 3) it feels, to me, that Berserker Musashi works so much better as... a unique encounter, a singular experience, just for Iori, to be able to see and fight his Sensei again, and for Musashi to see her pupil, at least one version of him, both similar and different to the one she knew. I feel like that Musashi, that version of her, should be something uniquely singular, a once in a lifetime chance for a once in a lifetime reunion, and adding her to FGO would undermine that.
It's very similar for Iori, like Shuttershocky's post said, Iori is a man born in the wrong time, born not in war but also unable to live fully in peace, he is a swordsman with skill, yes, but no name besides that of his adoptive father and no true claim to fame and Servanthood. And I personally fear, and would rather not have it happen, that he'd be the welfare Servant in the FSR event, cuz that does tend to be the way with FGOs collabs, the protagonist characters (Ryougi Shiki, Gray, Sieg, Erice) tend to be the Welfare ones.
All that being said......... you could do something really interesting if he's still in the event, just hopefully not as a Servant. HELL! It would be very exciting to have him somehow be the antagonist! "To serve as an upheaval for all eternity", right?!
As for the other FSR originating Servants: I personally feel that Samson and Zhou Yu personally work better in FSR, the way their stories are tied to that Grail War and their Masters (for Samson, it's those he connected, if not contracted, with), that I'd rather not have them be summonable in FGO, but it's more alright than the ones above. Toss FSR Caster in there too, I guess, I have no problem with him being in FGO but most of his nature and role is tied to him facing Saber in that specific Grail War, what the fuck is he gonna do in FGO? I also don't see much of a point to adding FSR Rider to FGO either, because she's kinda already been there and I dunno if she'd be adding anything new? I'm welcome to being surprised though.
Rogue Saber, I'm completely fine with him jumping into FGO, he already has connections to characters there and he's not super dependent on the nature of FSRs HGW and plot, he could fit in easily. Same with Assassin too, mostly. (I originally wasn't a fan of his True Name reveal but his Lanky Kong-ass has grown on me)
A couple of the Masters, actually, you could stretch into Servants (I say stretch because they're not super prominent or well known, kinda below standard Servant quality levels, but FGO has made 'weaker' ones work). Koei Tecmo does their research well, Zheng Chenggong, Yui Shosetsu, and Takao Dayu were all real people, and Dorothea is the fictional daughter of the real Frederik Coyette (who actually unsuccessfully fought Chenggong when the latter took Taiwan from the Dutch). Chiemon, well, I don't know if I'd want to see him as a Servant, but I would LOVE to see some interaction between him and Amakusa. Also, Tsuchimikado gets a criminally low amount of attention with how he was built up as the ritual's mastermind. I'd welcome the event expanding more on him!
Ultimately, though, what I do think could work and might actually want to see as the welfare... would be Kaya+Ototachibanahime. That was a moment in FSR that I felt really didn't get enough screentime and explanation, having them as a welfare Caster in FGO could help with explaining that, and they do already fit the pseudo-Servantness that other crossed over characters have.
#I only mention Archer and Berserker's true names cuz they're revealed early on#fate samurai remnant#fsr spoilers#fate samurai remnant spoilers#fate grand order#fgo#my posts

Pls just short infos about macha relationship with all the hindu servants
ok i will try to be as brief as possible [CHALLENGE] [IMPOSSIBLE] (ashwatthama and karna (very long) here)
bhima
Contracted. To Macha, he is something like an in-law she has to impress, and so her teasing tendencies completely evaporate when he's present. Bhima is quite pleased that Arjuna found someone important to him, but she's a lot stiffer than what he hears about...she's trying to impress him, isn't she? Relax!
"...On second thought, if there's one place I'd like you to try and impress me it's the kitchen, so please don't make things like 'cinnamon ravioli cereal' ever again."
duryodhana
Not contracted (Master: Badb). Their entire relationship is colored by Badb being Duryodhana's Master. Macha knows schemers since she is one, so she likes to warn Duryodhana that she's got two of the five Pandavas contracted to her if he tries anything with her little brother. Duryodhana thinks she's creepy, batshit and overprotective, but she's also not completely wrong in that yeah his new Master is kind of easy to convince if you just give him a little love but he's being gooood he's a good Servant cmaaaan he's just a little birthday boy
rama
Not contracted (Master: Ritsuka). The American Singularity and his arrival at Chaldea inspired her to read the Ramayana, though she's been slower to it than the Mahabharata. As such, she will occasionally request he tell her stories to bypass her backlog, though he finds her arrogant for boldly making such a request of a king...even so, he indulges her. To his satisfaction, she's genuinely enthralled.
Later on, she learns that Valmiki may not have had anything to do with the Uttara Kanda (the part where Sita is exiled), so she ponders quietly about it when she sees him sometimes.
ganesha/jinako
Contracted. With Karna unable to recognize Jinako but Jinako clearly wanting their old relationship back, Macha feels oddly guilty about being the one to summon her and not Tanya. She expresses this guilt in subtle(?) ways by scooping Jinako up when she goes to see Karna for something. They have strange power struggles over who should be the "big sister" in their dynamic, and Jinako thinks she's good-hearted but goes about it in dumb ways (that can and will inconvenience her urge to crawl into her shell).
Seeing Karna in a completely different situation through Jinako's dreams was certainly the experience of all time.
kama
Not contracted (Master: Aimi). I haven't read Ooku yet but I know why it happened and the gist so bear with me this will be short (there was a period where I ignored FGO for a while before dropping it entirely and Ooku happened during that time).
To Kama, Macha is a little disgusting in how she so clearly does things out of love constantly. On the flip side, Macha is actually somewhat afraid of her. Upon seeing this and her obvious fondness for Arjuna, Kama hinted that Macha will have a "wonderful experience" soon (LB4), which scared Macha even more.
parvati
Not contracted (Master: Undecided). Like the Kama section this'll be a little short. Sorry for being a Sakura fan who knows so little about the Sakuraface everyone was waiting for I won't do it again
Macha is not stirred by Parvati's motherliness or kindness, though she can appreciate it on a superficial level (she has issues so she personally sees Medea as a motherly figure). Despite her fear of Kama, Macha can understand her more, and Parvati is somewhat of an enigma. On the flip side, Parvati can clearly see she's a bit of a troubled child...though Macha seems almost repelled by her sympathy, so she's at a loss.
lakshmibai (i...i guess she counts doesn't she huh.)
Not contracted (Master: Undecided, tempted to tell Tanya's mama that she's a good fit). She is familiar with Lakshmibai through Subhadra Kumari Chauhan's poem Jhansi Ki Rani. She believes that Lakshmibai was an incredible person...even when Lakshmibai makes her distaste for Macha's actions during the Indian Lostbelt clear. Macha understands and tries to not bother her much.
Completely unrelated to the question but the Lakshmibai in their Chaldea wears historically correct clothing. One day Takeuchi and I will have both bitten the dust and I'll hunt him down in the afterlife for this one.
vritra
Contracted. There's something incredibly chaotic about having two chaos agents be Master and Servant, and even more chaotic in that they both derive joy from their objects of torment overcoming the challenge that has been put before them. Of course, Macha can tell very well that Vritra is in it to witness the outcome of Macha's (and Chaldea's) struggle as well, so she more than happy to work hard to show Vritra a good ending.

Do I hear you are doing a character meme??? How about Ozymandias? Just out of curiosity
I LOVE OZY ahem i mean. sure yeah
Sexuality Headcanon: this man fucks. historically. men women both neither. if you exist and you're both interested in getting jiggy with it, the deal's on. his sexuality is: Yes
Gender Headcanon: i do see him as cis, but like. cis+. he gets gender in a way most cis folks do not. if you asked him he'd probably say something ridiculous like "My Gender is as Magnanimous as the Sun!"
A ship I have with said character: i am incapable of shipping Ozymandias with anyone other than his beloved wife. Do you have any idea how much he loved Nefertari? The man wrote poems about her to people. He was ready to kill his master that one time when he was summoned by her necklace, meaning her tomb had been broken into and robbed. The man LOVES his wife!!!!!!! that being said. Arash. I ship him with Arash Kamangir
A BROTP I have with said character: Gilgamesh. 100%. I love how high and mighty and regal and silly they are about their kingship and glory and their connection with the sun and the gods. They're a couple of huge dorks and I love them together. I'd watch an entire spin off about them
A NOTP I have with said character: I'm not sure I have a NOTP for Ozy. None really come to mind
A random headcanon: He takes at least three hours to get ready for the day. At LEAST. Washing, pruning, anointing himself, dressing, accessorizing, etc. He spends excessive amounts of time on the whole ordeal
General Opinion over said character: [looks at the Ozymandias nesoberi next to me] I am a casual Ozymandias enjoyer for certain. [looks at the seated figurine on my bookshelf] I think he's really interesting and a compelling character, in particular I'm a huge fan of how he's written in the Round Table Singularity as both a powerful, ruthless king, but a generous one when it counts, and also how human he is in quiet moments. [looks at Ozy rubber keychain]......I wish we got more of him in FGO, he's REALLY neat and he has so much potential [looks at Ozy print]...uhm,, also he's sexy. I love Ozymandias
#i dont think i have an ask tag#ozymandias my beloved#if we're not careful this will send me back into ozy hyperfixation mode

ok so i've spent a solid 14 hours on fate/samurai remnant, and here's my thoughts on it so far (spoilers ahead! i'm only on chapter 2 so i haven't got too far obvs cause i tend to play games in an unhinged manneer but you know
Ok, so first things first, the game is FUN. like obviously as a type/moon fan i'm enjoying it a lot but even aside from that it's just a good game, the fighting is satisfying, exploration rewarding and all around theres a fun gameplay loop that is fo far really nice. The game starts kinda slow and slowly intruduces its main characters but once you get i'd say past meeting Archer and his Master, things get going. Game in general feels very much like an entry point to the series in general, there's an hefty glossary and so far a few aspects feel similar to F/SN, it's not a bad thing imho but yeah
Sidequests (or as they call it in this game, Digressions) are fun ! A few of them are just mandatory though? which is kinda odd and I guess they're not quite sidequests, more like sidestories? I thought the one with Rogue Rider was fun. Cu Chulainn Rogue Lancer is fun, he's just like oh i wanna beat your ass but i'm rusty so af rn i'm tagging along to get warmed up for our match
There's a nice "sightseeing" vibe the game has which i ADORE and so far feels kinda unique to this game, like I guess later FGO singularities for ex had kind of that going on but it was limited you know. Anyway being able to visit 1651 edo is fun as hell
Spoilers i guess? I think I guessed Saber's True Name by now, and their character reminds me a LOT of a fanservant sheet I read back in the days on Beast's Lair, I hope the person who made it feels validated lol
