This fic is inspired by @fandomsforpali IG story quite a while back where the question was, IIRC, "How would each character learned about the situation?". I made several fic using that prompt, but this one is the best one I could make after a long hiatus from writing. This may not be much, but this is what I can do.

Red Determination: A Miraculous Fic

The whole class gave a round of applause after Mylene gave her speech about her dream job: being an environmental activist. A benevolent job, fitting her nature perfectly.

Today, each and every one of them must give a speech about their dream job, an assignment Ms. Bustier gave them two weeks ago, where they must do research about their job and pretty much try to convince why their job is important. They were supposed to make the speech last week, but an akuma attack delayed it by a week.

Ms. Bustier looked at the attendance list before calling out the next name she chose randomly. "Alya Cesaire."

Some of the class were cheering on her. Nino cheered the loudest and had Ms. Bustier telling him to quiet down. Marinette just placed a hand on her shoulder, barely making a smile that she knows her best friend didn't look.

To everyone else, Alya may looked fine, almost expressionless, but Marinette knows better. Something has been bugging her best friend, almost a whole week, and Alya never spoke about it with her. She always said "I need to learn something".

Alya stood in front of the class, a sheet of paper with her speech in hand, and she looked at her friends, not focused to any of them.

"Good morning everyone." Alya spoke. "Well, as you all know, I'm here to make a speech about my dream job."

None of her classmates noticed it, but her voice trembled when she spoke the first sentence. It was slight, almost unnoticed, but Marinette and Nino caught on that. They shared a concerned look but said nothing otherwise.

"As you all know, I wanted to be a journalist, which is why I created the Ladyblog and post videos about the latest akuma attacks as a, well, let's just say it's training." A few of the giggled, being fully aware of her reckless behavior. "And of course, I can do that almost without much to fear. Ladybug always save the day, so I can be stupidly reckless. Although that's not something I should be proud of."

Marinette twitched slightly. Sure, her Miraculous Ladybug can fix any akuma damage, no matter how bad it is, but still, she'd rather deal with akuma knowing her best friend is being anywhere but near the danger itself.

"So, I did a deep research for this speech about being a reporter for the last two weeks. Too deep, I must say, and I learned a lot about it." She spoke matter-of-factly. "Of all the things that I learned, I particularly learned about the...weight of being a journalist."

That short delay instantly shifted the mood of the class. Now, they're all looking at her. Listening to what she learned in the last two weeks from this assignment.

Alya took a breath and let it out softly. "I learned that being a journalist is more than just trying to get the latest scoop and news . Scandals that piqued people's interest that makes them talk about it in their free time." She said. "I also learned that being a journalist also mean to put my life on the line and being ready to lose it any second, all for the sake of telling the truth to the world."

There's another delay, longer than before. Concern was visibly painted on her classmates' faces, and even Ms. Bustier had to step in.

"Alya, if you don't feel like doing the speech now, you can do it later with me after class. You can go back to your seat." The teacher said, as concerned as everyone else.

"Thanks, Ms. Bustier, but I'll do it now." Alya gave a quick smile. "If I want to be a journalist, I have to be ready to face reality and truth."

She lowered her hand that's holding up her speech, and she spoke as if she had memorized every single letters on the paper. "Since October 7th 2023, israel had been committing genocide on Palestinians' land, committing war crimes after war crimes, and violating every single international law.

"In just a single year, they have murdered over 45.000 Palestinians, where 17.000 of them are children. And 146 of them are journalists, as per the latest news. That is twice the number of journalist killed in World War 2, the most horrific war in human history that lasted for several years, in just a single year."

Someone scoffed, and it came from none other than Chloe. "Are you really trying to turn this whole thing into politic? How ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous."

Chloe didn't even look at Alya when she spoke. She could pretend all she wants, but everyone present there could hear it in her voice, one that's often filled with pride and arrogance, was trembling for once.

Alya read that act all too well, and she continued. "Genocide tied every topic together, even our dream jobs." Alya turned to her friends. "Mylene, you said you wanted to become an environmental activist, correct?"

The environmental activist nodded her head. "Yes."

"Do you know in just a single year, israel have dropped over 80.000 tons of bombs on Gaza? Compare that to the two nukes that were dropped on Japan in World War 2, both weighted 9.300kg in total. Max, how much is the comparison?"

Max, with his calculator on hand, answered with a choked voice, "That'll be 8.6 times more."

"In a single year. Now, Max," Alya continued with Max after Mylene nearly fainted. "You love technology more than anything. How would you react when you know they used drones that plays baby crying to lure the Palestinians out from their shelter to kill them? What would you do when you heard about "Where's Daddy?" AI."

Max was reluctant, afraid of what he would see. And yet, his fingers moved by themselves and search for it. "Oh my god" was the only response he could give.

"Sabrina," Alya turned to the orange haired girl. "You wanted to be a nurse, a healthcare worker. In just a single year, more than 900 healthcare workers were murdered by israel, 260 of them were nurses."

Sabrina's face lost her color, but Alya is not stopping.

"Kim, you want to be an athlete. FIFA is putting a double standard for Russia's invasion on Ukraine and israel's genocide on Palestinians. Ivan, stay at home dad, 70% of the people israel killed are women and children. Nino, a movie director, this is the most documented genocide in history. Alix—"

Abruptly, Alya stopped. She unclenched her fist that nearly teared her speech paper and wiped the single tear on her cheek.

Her heart was beating fast. Flames burning wild within her, crawling its way up her throat. She couldn't exactly tell what she's feeling right now, because she felt everything. Sadness, fury, disgust, shame, all burning inside her.

She took a deep breath once more, keeping her emotions under control. She looked at the crumpled piece of paper in her hand and folded it into her pocket.

"This is not something that happened just recently, it's been going on for decades." Alya spoke again, keeping herself together with everything that she had. "In 2021, israel massacred 137 people, then in 2019, in 2014, in 2012, in 2009, and many others and all the way back to 1948 where they massacred five towns. Seven decades of oppression."

Alya take a look at Marinette, then Adrien and Nino. For the first time, she smiled, genuinely.

"I haven't changed my mind about being a journalist, and I am not discouraged in the slightest even after knowing that the international law will not protect me," she said. "That is why I will create another blog to keep everyone as up to date as possible about the situation in Palestine, and I'm planning to held a protest this weekend to demand for an end to this illegal occupation."

"Alya," Ms. Bustier called with a thin smile on her face, the similar smile she wear when instead of punishing the wrongdoer, she punished both sides. "Don't you think protest is a bit too much?"

"It's not." Alya answered immediately. "We helped Mylene with her protest during the Project Oxygen announcement, and we did it. We were fighting for environment back then, now we're fighting for human rights."

Alya looked at her friends once more with determined look, and they looked back on her with the same look as her.

"I will close my speech with my all time favorite quote: "all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing". We may not have superpower like Ladybug and Chat Noir, but we have the power to make a change. This time, let's us all be heroes." Alya said. "I am Alya Cesaire, thank you for your attention."

She went back to her chair with a deafening cheers.

The Story of the Steel Wool FNAF Games? A “short” summery

Hello, This will be a summery of the current FNAF story set up for you to be caught up and not as confused as the first month Security Breach was released. This post will not be focused on Theories just what is fact.

HELP WANTED: this game showed us that Fazbear entertainment had returned and attempted to turn their shady past into a monetizable story. Due to them wanting to cut corners they scanned old animatronic AI chips so that the in game AI would be as accurate as possible. After doing so a man named Jeremy (The alpha tester who would actually play the game) killed himself with a guillotine paper cutter. It was discovered that something got into the game, took the roll of the Spring Bonnie in the final minigame and attempted to steal Jeremy’s body.

You play as a beta tester on a new team cleaning up what the old team left you. By the end with the help from some hidden tapes you try to destroy the anomaly only to fail and have it “Lock you away into a room” before to return back to the game as if nothing had happened. Later in the DLC you find a white rabbit mask and while wearing it you can commune with the anomaly.

These appear to be the events that lead up to Vanessa becoming Vanny

Special Delivery appears to show off a new type of delivery service that is tampered with, turning the mass-produced animatronics violent. 

We also get accidental messages from a man named Luis talking about his co worker Ness

Throughout the events of these texts Luis tries to get coffee with Ness who keeps ignoring him. That is until she asks him a bit about his job in IT. In the unreleased Emails Ness creates a fake IT Email and starts heavily sabotaging the company locking people out and activating the same virus from Help Wanted into the animatronics turning them violent. Ness then gets a job at the Pizzaplex.

Security Breach's story on it’s own is extremely bare bones so this will be very fast so we can get into the important stuff. A boy named Gregory would constantly hang around the Pizzaplex. One day the security guard scares him bad enough he fears she is going to kill him. Glamrock Freddy who broke down in that mornings show is used as a hiding place by him. The two work together to survive the night and destroy the Pizzaplex animatronics that have turned violent. In the games story we learn a game called Princess Quest seems to be the key to free Ness aka Vanessa from the anomaly but also under the Pizzaplex is the Pizza Place from FFPS which houses a strange nameless creature that appears very similar to the long dead William Afton.

Now we move to The Tales From The Pizzaplex to fill in the details. not every story is important we will only be going over GGY, The Storyteller, The Mimic, and The Epilogues. I’d also like to bring up the last book/2 books have not yet released and wont before Ruins release.

GGY shows us the answer to a mystery in Security Breach. Who was being spoken to in the Therapy tapes 4672 to 4679 Tapes that started with 71 were directed towards Vanessa as you can hear her in them. Those which started with 46 had no known patent until this story. Gregory is shown to have been at least at some point possessed by the anomaly and would hack into the pizzaplex systems to play games for free while also messing with the animatronics AI.

He wrote a poem at the end of the story about how GGY was a wizard’s favorite apprentice and how they were fighting against a corporates conspiracy  "the wizard's most favored apprentice" "an animatronic supervillain who went into battle with a tentacled monster."

Gregory’s four therapists are shown to be killed by his use of animatronics. What happened to cause him to become free from the anomaly is unknown.

The Storyteller shows a young chairman of Fazbear entertainment named Mr. Burrows attempting to use AI to replace the writers for the stories around the Pizzaplex. An old business partner of the original fazbear owners Edwin Murray tries to stop Burrows and ends up seeing something he shouldn’t have.

Inside the large baobab tree used to house the new AI made to create stories holds a White Tiger head dubbed The Storyteller. This causes Edwin to have a panic attack for some unknown reason. The Storyteller caused the glamrock animatronics to act out like they do in the game. Chica is extreamly pushy, Monty is violent, and Roxanne is meaner then she should be.

Edwin attempts to stop this and gets into the tree after the Pizzaplex closes for the night. He sees The Storyteller is playing a program named Mimic_1 which freaks Edwin out again for no known reason. Mr, Burrows locks Edwin into the tree believing he was causing all of these glitches.

Edwin dies from asphyxiations and when the door is open inside shows cardboard that Edwin brought in covered in symbols and the words “I’m sorry”. The door closes behind Burrows locking him in too.

The Mimic shows Edwin back when he was young, He created the costumes for the Fazbear Animatronics and lived with his son David. Due to his wives passing he had to work with his young son around. So to keep him company, he created an endo with a new type of AI made to mimic what it sees.

The Endo would learn from David and started to act like him. David had a small white tiger plush with a blue and green eye which he held close to his chest. The Endo would also hold his arm close to his chest to mimic David. Edwin would build the Endo his own plush tiger.

One day David ran into the street and was hit by a car. Edwin watching the impact unable to save him. The Endo turns into a mockery of his son to Edwin and so he smashes it. Over and over until it was smashed. Filled with Pain and Hate.

years later it reawakened now knowing that pain and hate and mimicked it. It killed anyone it saw and would use the costumes Edwin made to hide and trick it’s prey.

The epilogue expanded the Pizza Place under the Pizzaplex. Somehow The Mimic was sent down to the Pizza Place with a bunch of endos meant to help a clean up team get rid of the wreckage. It is reprogramed to tear the heads and arms off the broken down endos that were destroyed in the fire but once it ran out of endos it began doing so to the workers. Once the Pizza Place is sealed off, 8 teens make their way there after hearing rumors of it’s existence before getting trapped down there alone with The Animatronic. The Mimic possesses a broken frame of rabbit ears but no other factors to match it to The Springtrap at the end of Security Breach. At least not yet. Through the epilogues it kills the teens one by one using random costumes all around the Pizza Place as disguises. Eventually it begins learning how to speak by listening in on the teens thinking of plans on how to get out. Then there is the newest epilogue from Tiger Rock. The Mimic kills one of the girls and wears her as a suit to try and get her friends attention. At this point missing only the Springtrap suit he wore in Security Breaches ending. Even when you beat it in the final cutscene you may notice it’s arm curl in close to it’s body like it would to hold it’s tiger plushy. 

In conclusions the antagonist of these stories, The Anomaly is a learning AI that due to the death surrounding Freddy’s has learned to become a killer. It continues to learn from every interaction it has and with every Fazbear Entertainment Story it grows more into an unstoppable force spread across more then just it’s body.

Things I noticed about the music-realm of the fnaf fandom as of recently.

My brain just fired an interesting set of neurons. I was thinking about how JT Music "remastered" some of his older fnaf songs, like Join us for a Bite, and Five Long Nights. Usually, JT Music never misses with his songs. Except for when he redoes them. Normally, I would describe the remakes of feeling too processed and the OGs more organic, but that's too vague for my point to get across.

I got a Reel on my feed the other day about the new Beetlejuice movie that showed images of behind the scenes pictures from the original movie, and the new one. One of the comments said that although the new movie was good, Beetlejuice's outfit from the original felt more authentic, and the new one felt too much like it was a costume. (I can see it in the hair most, imo.)

That's how I would describe this situation with JT Music. Heck, even just current Fnaf Fan songs in general.

I haven't heard any new fnaf songs that stuck out to me in a while. To me, the new ones just sound like someone just picked a cool synth and played 4 chords and went "OOG THE BEAR IS APPROACHING~" lmao.

Idk they just sound less...from the heart. Compare the "You might look at me-" "-you're not alone, Baby" part of the original Join us For a Bite, and the remake. They got rid of the huge chords the vocals did on "crazy," and the delivery doesn't sound like she's about to lose it. She just sings it and the autotune does the rest.

A number of other songwriters that made pretty good songs back then have fallen off too, I noticed.

Idk if it's because this is how these artists are making a living, so they gotta pump out content all the time. Tryhardninja has been uploading multiple music videos for songs from like, 2016. (They're good animations though.) It's all in the matter of taste though, I guess.

But it's a shame, because all the older songs that were fire, the writers ended being creeps, or have just been absent from the internet or the fandom for a while. Mandopony's songs felt like they came straight out of a musical. They made great use of harmonization, and painting a scene in your head. [I've never come across a song made by a brony that was mid.] That kind of style has yet to be replicated, because I don't want him returning anytime soon.

Idk what happened to Groundbreaking, other than he stopped making fnaf music specifically, but he was really good at writing character, and catchy instrumental breaks. The sounds he chose for each character song fit them very well. His style was very electronic and industrial.

Similar notes for Griffinilla, with the added bonus of the scenes in Stay Calm. Then he turned into Fandroid. His Freddy song is pretty good too. The lyrics are pretty generic, but I like the wacky instruments used. Not a fan of the Ballora song. I did recently hear about him being a groomer though. Can't have nothin in Hurricane.

Shameless plugin, that's why when I wrote Paranormal Powerhouse, (and Bolts4Brains) I was taking those aspects into account. I never hear vocals harmonize anymore, or singing in character, or silly voices in general. Those add texture, imo. The instruments I chose were very specific. I wanted it to sound mechanical and haunting, while keeping the overall lighthearted campy nature these games have, thus, the title of the song. (Totally has nothing to do with the level "Lava Powerhouse" from Sonic Spinball.) Even the drums are meant sound like clunky robotic movement.

The Genesis is capable of very harsh and edgy sounds, which would be perfect for the industrial side. It's capable of atmospheric sounds as well, ex. Ecco the Dolphin. It also shares a soundchip with arcade cabinets from at least mid 80s, so I tried to replicate instruments from certain arcade games, because FFP has an arcade. The Snes plugin was used for softer sounds the Genesis couldn't achieve the way I wanted, like the wonky piano.

I did add a sort of autotune to my vocals, but a real quality autotune plugin costs money, so I used Reaper's built in manual pitch correction. On top of that, I added a light chorus effect for the main melody, and a bit crush at that part where Phone Guy starts to break it down, and the animatronics provide a counter melody, leading up to Chica's solo.

Idk maybe I'm just not in the loop with the current music scape, and when I am, I just get really unlucky. It's hard to tell, because I hardly ever come across a fnaf fan that's also a music nerd. Like I'm just finding videos talking about the Watch Your 6 motif. Did we all like subconsciously know this and just decide to talk about it, or did the right people just start noticing it at the right time?

I get that Matpat has a big part in fnaf theorizing community but I'm convinced that if fandom didn't take everything he said as a fact people wouldn't have opinion of Scott as such terrible writer.

The lore has its problems sure. But I really hate how anytime Matpats theory is proven wrong in the games people start saying that Scott intentionally changes the lore just to fuck with Matpat.

I don't recall if you explained this at some point, but how did the bodies of Springtrap and Molten Freddy (if that's who The Blob is in your aU) survive the FFPS fire? Burntrap looks like it went through a ton of reworking and probably needed to be rebuilt by Elizabeth as a temporal vessel for Elder Afton to inhabit until they found him a perfect fit.

No idea how they survived intact in the canon games, but I'm thinking Michael underestimated the temperature needed to destroy the Remnant attached to them. Wasn't hot enough to melt/cremate the physical bodies, was barely hot enough to start degrading the Remnant into the ether, but was definitely hot enough to kill living beings. FuriRosa tried to boost the temperature but faltered at raising it higher because Circus Baby was still in the building forcing the doors to remain closed so the Scrap Animatronics would be unable to escape their fate.

Baby took the path Michael had left for escape, narrowly avoiding being sunk into the pit he had dug out under the building to bury the lot once the support system collapsed on command, but her being there to start with meant the incinerators didn't reach the maximum temperature needed to destroy everything fully.

Thoughts on Michael? 👀

Michael is a pretty troubled character from my perspective, one that struggles but can’t reach out, because there’s no one to reach out to.

the thing he learned to value the most in the worst possible way was his family, and yet everytime he thought things might start settling down another tragedy occurred, which never really allowed him to take a moment to just... grieve. It was death after death until it was him and William, the person that ,logically, he’d rely on for emotional support, which would turn out to be a horrible decision for obvious reasons.

I think the drive to set things right amongst the family was what drove Michael to go seek his sister, and what continued to push him throughout the years until everything burned down in ffps, only that in ffps he realized that it wasn’t just about them, it was abour giving closure to all of those who needed, which painted him as very selfless person.

It was a good ending for him, he did bring them all together in one place, but it leaves an extremely bittersweet taste behind- they deserved it, but also didn’t.

to finish up before I ramble my way into the multiverse, I think that Michael as a character has a lot of potential, and each different way he’s portrayed, by either artists or writers is beautiful. He might be a bit of a morally grey character in my eyes, one that’s mostly driven by guilt and grief and the need to bring everything to an end, taking responsibility for deeds that weren’t his, but he had the best intentions.

Current M.A. student and working on campus. My time may hiccup but I’ve been multi-tasking like a pro between work and play for years. 

My star sign is Pisces! 

I can play the piano and was part of a music program for three years. 

Shorter than most as I stand around 5′0″. 

I’m one whole emotional gal and tend to laugh loudly and obnoxiously. That is when I push myself past the usual things (anxiety, etc). 

EXPERIENCE

▐ HOW LONG ( YEARS/MONTHS ): 10+ years; I lost track. ▐ PLATFORMS USED: Skype, Discord, Xat, several FFP-MMOs, ProBoards and JCink,  Tumblr, etc. ▐ BEST EXPERIENCE: Making absolute memes of my characters and my rp partner’s characters (I genuinely believe not being as serious about the charas. helps with the fun). But, my best times are when my partner(s) and I bounce off ideas, spit-balling and then going “AND WHAT IF X,” “AND THEY COULD DO Y.” The build-up is exciting and can help in hilarious scenes.

MUSE PREFERENCES

▐ MALE OR FEMALE: It was usually males when younger. But, I’m taking up more female and GQ muses. I’ve been more cautious about portraying and bringing in male muses due to how weird people can be around them?? 

▐ FAVORITE FACE: Remilia Scarlet from Touhou, Ciel from Tsukihime, Levi Baskerville from Pandora Hearts, Argentine from D.N. Angel, and a whOLE fucking more.

▐ FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT: On dash presence, it will be ranked: fluff, angst, smut.  But, I’m a high-key idiot who would find a way to achieve two-in-one, especially if the character’s emotional state is self-deprecating or fucking terrible to themselves (like this gal). But, in PMs, it’s a free-for-all of what someone could ask from me. 

▐ PLOTS OR MEMES: Can’t decide -- I’ve had some excellent threads develop from memes over the years on Tumblr. However, plotting can help organize what my partner wants to be achieved and can also help compromise. 

▐ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: Both? Both! I do understand where you’d want the same amount in exchange. But, you always need to factor in quality. I don’t mind short replies as I take it that the other writer published it if they’re feeling confident in it. Though, I’m sort of unsure about one-liners, ‘specially if it was abrupt. 

▐ BEST TIME TO WRITE: When I have a bottle of Brisk Raspberry and I might be procrastinating, ufufu~. Nah, I usually write while blasting music on my headphones, and I usually go for musicals. 

▐ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: Now, I do put bits of myself in the characters (usually small quirks like how they may sit, they may talk with their hands, etc). I don’t really like the idea of channeling a lot of myself in the characters; I’ve seen situations when there has become quite ugly (people take RPs as serious offenses to themselves, jealousy, etc). But, in some ways, there are one or two traits I carry in common with them!
