SWtOR-Tober 2024 Day 3: Chaos
I'm so behind because work and school, I do plan to try and catch up. Next segment is "Chaos"
So decided to use my smuggler oc! This isn't just describing Chapter 1, but the general dynamic between her and Corso. They both share a braincell.
I mean, they're just there to find relics + treasure and sneak stuff in, not fight Sith entities (okay maybe not an entity, but these people- nonForce users nor any form of solider- gotta deal with evil wizards? Girl just wanted her ship back.)
Oh, by the way, she had a twin brother with red hair (yes they are cousins to my trooper). Names? Must'arrd and her brother Ketch'up.
Ketch'up is my brother's smuggler character. We started the game back in 2020, doing story classes together (we haven't done them all yet.) But we usually do a theme together. It would be so funny to be running missions together and other players would stop dead in their tracks to do a double-take on the names. But hey, I feel the names are very Star Wars-canon friendly.
Anyway, the inspiration for this image is a meme I use frequently. I don't think I've quite captured the chaos (can't figure out how to blur properly yet) but I think I've done alright. I also chose Unus Annus because there's a moment in Chapter 1, saving one of the siblings from the Justicar, the exchange is:
That sibling: The Works? You wouldn't last five minutes.
Corso: Captain and I are so good, I bet we could last ten
It has the exact same vibe as:
Woman: My life is in the hands of an idiot?
Ethan: No, no, no. TWO idiots!
And I've come to make an announcement.
Corso Riggs isn't that bad. I actually like him. It's also the fact the first romance start, where he's buzzed, that as soon as he makes a suggestive comment, he BACKS UP without prompting and apologizes. I do tease him and stuff, but he's genuinely not as bad as people make him out to be.

Despite my love for swtor's smuggler storyline I hate the fact that despite the Jedi Knight getting a sapphic option for Kira in Onslaught Smuggler doesn't get a sapphic option for Risha or Akaavi leaving female smugglers with Corso misogony Riggs as their only original companion romance option.

Started working on another SWTOR Corso Riggs × Female Smuggler one shot that's just sheer domestic fluff. And the next one I have planned is angst again. Just flip flopping on the vibes.

Imperial-Topaz ranks SWTOR Romances
To mark my return, I decided to do a SWTOR ranking, this time with the romances. I'm gonna stick with just vanilla ones for now, and do expansions at a later time. Also, I'm not doing any of the 'one-shot' romances, or I'll be here till the next century. Again, this is just my opinion, let me know what you think on these romances in the comments or reblogs. Anyway, this is gonna be a chonkey one, so let's get into it.
19. Kaylio Djannis
What a surprise. Anyway, she's down here for one reason in particular. She's literally the only romance option that fucking cucks you.
Yup. Honestly, Kaliyo is such an unlikable piece of shit. She trash talks you even if you're flirting with her and probably doesn't see you as anything more than a one night stand. I don't wanna look at this bitch no more. Next! 18. Doc
Yeah, you know how I feel about Doc already. The walking sexual harassment lawsuit who can't take 'no' for an answer. If you're a female knight who doesn't want to romance him (or at least wants to take things easy and not rush), you're in for an uncomfortable time. But what if you're into his flirts and return them? Is the relationship a bit healthier? I suppose, but his attitude makes it hard for me to take his commitment seriously. I just have this feeling that he'll run off to bang a hotter chick if given the opportunity. I mean, he already fled a wedding once.
So yeah, fuck Doc and his ugly ass crowbar mustache. 17. Nadia Grell
Before you crucify me, I like Nadia, okay? She's a great character. Her romance on the other hand is...eugh. There is a lot of unfortunate implications. You guys already know I'm not a big fan of Padawan and Apprentice relationships, it's just creepy for me. Also, you start romance literally after her father dies. I'm serious, it almost plays into the Sex for Solace trope. Also, the Consular is coded to be an older person, while Nadia is really young. I mean, ngl, I don't mind age difference as long as both parties are the age of majority (which, to give credit, they are) but still. Honestly, I just like Nadia better as a surrogate daughter/little sister to the Consular.
16. Corso Riggs
Yeah, Corso is...not the best in my opinion. I'll give him credit, he's got good looks and plenty of gentlemanly charm if you're into that sorta thing. But then again, his romance setup pretty much forces you to take advantage of him while he's drunk. Already that bumps him down a few spots for me. Personality wise, I find his whole 'don't hurt woman at all' shtick to get really old, especially when he does it towards women who are actively trying to kill him and the Smuggler. Buddy, you can defend yourself and still be a Gentleman at the same time. His jealousy also kinda gets on my nerves. Not my cup of tea, but I won't judge anyone who picks him.
15. Jaesa Willsaam (Dark side)
Some may not like that I put her this high, but the reason Dark!Jaesa is above the last four for me is simple: the entertainment value. Honestly, her romance is also roughly how I feel about her character: not actually 'good' per say, but so hilariously over-the-top and edgy, that I can't help but laugh. A perfect fit for a chaotic dark side Sith Warrior. However, as a genuine love interest? Not the best. There's better options you can pick for that. Also, I'm not discussing in this list Light!Jaesa, since I believe that's an expansion-only romance.
14. Raina Temple
Alright, done with the bad, now we can move onto the good, starting with Raina. She's alright in my opinion. I don't have much to say, honestly. I like her whole everywoman theme, she's cute, she's got some complexity to her, and she's not Kaliyo. Not an absolute fav, but she's good in my book.
13. Andronikos Revel
Again, not much to say. Revel's got a good arc to him: starts off casual and laid-back, but once you get to know eachother, he opens up and it becomes more serious. I also like how he's flirtatious and not an absolute creep about it...unlike a certain someone... So yeah, simple and sweet. 12. Risha Drayen
Don't have much to say for Risha, either. I like her, but I'm not crazy for her. I will admit, I do have a soft spot for the whole princess x rogue type of romance, and she is a pretty likable and personable character. I just prefer the other romance option for smugglers, but we'll get to that in a bit. 11. Felix Iresso
Someone give this man a hug, a blanket, and some snacks. He did not deserve any of the shit he went through. Hurt/comfort aside, I like Felix. He's calm, mature, friendly, and straight-forward in a good way. I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, I am having trouble of what to say. Moving on! 10. Ashara Zavros
The one thing holding Ashara back for me is the master/apprentice dynamic. That's really the only problem I have with her romance. I just find it creepy. That aside, Ashara's pretty good. I love her character arc of her realizing the conflict between Jedi and Sith isn't as Black and White as she initially thought it was, and how it ties into her romance. I especially like romancing her with a Light Sided Inquisitor. It's just so sweet.
P.S. They did her dirty in KOTFE 9. Vector Hyllus
I know how beloved Vector is and some people are really not gonna like me not putting him the top 5. That's only because I only did his romance once. However, I did enjoy that playthrough. Vector is a very wholesome and quirky character with some interesting romantic themes. I'll have to play through him again someday. 8. Akaavi Spar
Man, I love warrior women. Especially ones who soften up over time, just like Akaavi here. I honestly have a soft spot for characters who completely wall themselves off from everyone else, but slowly begin to let other people into their boundaries as they open up. I know some people might not like me putting her over Risha, but I can't help it. Akaavi is just great.
7. Torian Cadera
Once more, not a whole lot to say, but I do enjoy Torian. His loyalty and courage are always endearing. One of my favorite moments in this game is reciting Mandalorian wedding vows with him. IDK why, but it's just so adorable for me. He, the Hunter, and Mako are an OT3 of mine. 6. Elara Dorne
Elara's romance is pretty adorable. She slowly begins to fall for you, spends time trying to adjust to a more casual relationship, and even goes out of her way to fill out heaps of paperwork and bypass regulations just so she can be with you. I love it. The one downside for me is the fact that you're her CO and she's technically sleeping with the boss. I don't hate it as much as the master/apprentice thing, but it does come a bit close. Other than that, she's great.
5. Malavai Quinn
Kicking off my top 5 is Quinn. The reason he's not number 1 is because I have a few issues with his romance. For one, you can turn the relationship very possessive and abusive as a dark side character. It's pretty scummy that the game lets you do that, and there is a sadly not insignificant amount of people who like to take that route. I won't call names, but still, it can get a bit iffy. On the other hand, if you're passive with him and respect his boundaries, his romance is considerably sweeter. It's really rewarding to see him show his undying loyalty and affection for you if you're not aggressively demanding it from him, and I love how you can rebuild your relationship after the Quincident. Really wish more people would go down that route. 4. Mako
Honestly, Mako has one of my favorite companion dynamics in the whole game, romance or not. She's charismatic and quirky gal to contrast to the generally gruff and straightforward bounty hunter, but still badass enough to keep up with them. And the romance, again, is pretty wholesome...and I'll leave it at that. Just plain cute and heartwarming. 3. Vette
Vette's dynamic with the Warrior is pretty much about the same as Mako's with the hunter. Which is why I really like her. I'm a big sucker for noble x commoner type relationships. Also in comparison to Malavai's, I like to take things slow with her, too. Instead of pushing every flirt button, it's wholesome to see her slowly come to a decision on her own and profess her love to the Warrior. NGL, though, I absolutely love how she literally jumps with joy upon being proposed to. Oh, and BioWare, how dare you make me choose between Torian and her! 2. Aric Jorgan
It's grumpy cat time. Another trope I have a soft spot for is the Defrosting Ice Queen (or King in this scenario). I love it when characters don't initially hit it off at first, but eventually warms up to eachother. Sure, when rushed, it comes off as contrived and unbelievable, but when done right, it's just amazing.
And Jorgan is just that, his friendship/romance evolution with the Trooper is a bit slow, but also believable. By the end of the story, he ends up straight up dedicated towards you. I also love how flustered he can get in romantic situations. Now if only BioWare made him bisexual... 1. Kira Carsen
@swtorpadawan and @magicallulu7 are gonna like this. Anyway, Kira might just be my favorite vanilla SWTOR companion. Playful, snarky, but still goodhearted and brave. And throughout the years, she'd still remained a favorite, both character and romance wise. I know, master/apprentice stuff, but I never see the Knight as her master. I see them more as Jedi partners (and perhaps more) if anything. I really like how you do help her overcome her past trauma and develop into a more responsible figure. Honestly, making her Bisexual in Onslaught was a chad move...if only BioWare did that for other companions. Conclusion
Holy fuck, that was a lot! Either way, I hope you guys enjoyed this ranking. If you disagree, please don't flame me for my opinions, or else I will cry. instead, tell me how you'd change the rankings and what your favorites are.

SWTOR OC catalog 🧀🧀
yea ok I don't have energy for fancy formatting but have some rambling descriptions (I guess it's fine tho bc if I gave introductions in real life it would not be any more coherant (more often than not I go to introduce someone and turns out I had their name wrong for WEEKS) )
but yes here are all my SWTOR OCs
Ga’eon Kachymov AKA Glen Iruusi AKA Lord Srije Narakati AKA TBD (Yes I like coming up with names why do you ask)
tagged oc: worst sith ever (+ anxiety)
Male Mirialan Sith Warrior. Complete cinnamon roll and worst possible person to be a Sith (affectionate). Baras took advantage of his inclination to trust (AKA gullibility) and messed him up big time. Anxiety and Imposter Syndrome made worse by the constant threat of death. But he’s got Vette and the Force and his love for plants, so it'll probably be okay?
Hopefully going to end up married to Jaesa Willsaam (but in my head she’s a totally different person) with two+ Mandalorian kids but either of them could definitely mess that up between here and the end of the class story.
Currently playing through Corellia (home stretch let's goooo)
A’la’zena AKA Cipher Nine
tagged oc: a'la'zena
Female Twi’lek Agent. My best attempt at Chaotic Good. Arrogant, contrary and despises feeling controlled more than anything else (Act II was nearly enough to turn her genocidal and it probably would have succeeded if not for bugboi). Always does the right thing but by her standards, not anyone else’s. Enjoys luxury and partying with her BFF Kaliyo. After Act III, took the Black Codex and disappeared. Now she runs a grassroots Space Illuminati 2.0: Chaotic Good version. Yes, it’s probably going to fail spectacularly. Yes, she’s pink. Don’t tell her.
Happily married to her emotional support bug with one adopted kid who will have no hope of a normal childhood. Shae’zena’s sister.
Currently done with the class story, with no intention of doing the expansions and plans to do a second playthrough.
Master Periflynn AKA the Bar’san’thor AKA area man officially so done with this
tagged oc: periflynn (tired)
Male human Consular. Practical above all else and duty bound to the Jedi. The only sane person in the entire Republic and very tired of dealing with everyone else’s messes. There to get things done and has no patience for pointless rhetoric or stupid people. Please stop putting him in management.
Proficient deadpan snarker, slicer, mechanic, and swoop bike pilot. Geeks out about software with Theran Cedrex. Nadia drags him to all the important ceremonies he’s supposed to appear at. Despises impractical ceremonial robes more than anything.
Diligently following the Jedi “no romantic attachments” policy and completely fine with that.
Currently done with the class story, with plans to play through the expansions at some point.
Captain Shae’zena
tagged oc: shae'zena
Female Twi’lek Smuggler. Biggest ray of sunshine ever who also kicks butt. Flower child california hippie vibes. Takes nothing seriously except when she sees people getting hurt, and then she is deadly serious.
Largely exists because all my other OCs are very polite and serious, and I wanted at least one chill snarker who can say all the things that the others would think but not say.
Corso Riggs currently under consideration for the position of bf. Depends on whether he learns to respect her or not. Theron is also a definite possibility :D
Currently on Alderaan, with plans to play through at least KOTET.
Other, less developed OCs/OCs I may or may not actually play
Ffeud - Male Chiss Agent. Manipulative bastard who also somehow exudes the overwhelming impression that he is a trustworthy friend who would never lie to you and never did anything wrong. Unclear how he does it, because every aspect of that impression is completely wrong. Potentially force sensitive? A’la’zena immediately hates his guts.
Valkerie Beausoleil - Female Human Inquisitor. Literally and figuratively the black sheep of the Beausoleil family due to her ✨raven black hair✨ and strong force sensitivity. Disowned by her family, she becomes Sith anyway, determined to free the Empire from the rule of old complacent traditionalists set in their ways.

Note.
Since I don't stay subscribed to swtor for too long, I can only have so many characters in each server. That, along with the fact that I made most of these legacies based on how they work story wise rather than server wise, is why there are characters from multiple servers in the legacies (really only for the Sardath Legacy lmao)
These legacy names don't all apply to the actual legacies in each server. In Satele Shan it's the Tano Legacy, Star Forge is the Vendethl Legacy, and Darth Malgus is the Sisko Legacy.
Also, some characters have the same last name, this usually means they are siblings (like Fee and Senrionell, Feista and Rysen'ii, Tallati and Therevor, etc), but it can also mean they are related as child and parent (in the case of Findrali being Finya's son), or cousins (such as Elshi with Fen and Xandr). It could also mean that they are simply relatives in a large family (Hagley with Feista and Rysen'ii). This also means that they might not know each other very well, or at all.
I don't have everything planned out for my characters here since a fair amount of them I just make and then don't play lol. But! I do want to expand on this idea more because I find it interesting to have my ocs interact like this (ie have one character be the alliance commander and the others fit in elsewhere)
I am more than willing to answer any questions anyone has about these little guys and expect more stuff on this in the future!!
End note.

Title: Good Times and Good Drinks
Prompt: Confessions @shortfictionweeklychallenge
Rating: Teen
Characters: Jessasi Silver (female Smuggler), Corso Riggs
Pairing(s): femSmuggler/Corso
Now that she has her ship back, Jessasi decides that she and Corso deserve a night on the town - but they both might have a bit more than they're admitting on their minds.
This is also my attempt to mess around with the start of the Corso romance plotline to make it less awkward and weird.
Text under cut
For the first time in weeks, Jessasi was sitting right where she belonged: in the cockpit of The Fool’s Wager, feet up on the dash, music blaring from the stereo. It’s good to be home. Skavik hadn’t even sold any of her stuff!
She checked her wrist chrono. Still eighteen hours until they were supposed to take off. Hmm. . .
“Corso!” she called, swinging her feet to the floor. “Get ready, we’re going to town!”
Twenty minutes later, she was ready to go and she didn’t look half-bad if she did say so herself: striped shorts, a grey top that clung to her curves, short vest to draw the eyes to her chest, and comfortable sandals. Checking the mirror one more time, she added a bit more eyeshadow and a touch of lipstick, slid on a few bracelets, and headed for the airlock.
Corso was waiting for her. “Aren’t we going to bring Risha?”
“Nah.” Running across the galaxy on her say-so was one thing. Going to the bar with her was another.
They took a taxi to the Old Galactic Market Sector and found the cantina easily. Darmas Pollaran had moved on, but the place was still crawling with all sorts relaxing after hard days. Down on their luck spacer types nursed drinks and scowled at everyone else, swankier customers played sabbacc, and a few guys were already drunk enough to be trying to dance along with the holodancers.
Jessasi rolled her eyes and headed for the bar.
The droid manning the drink orders whirred over as she slid onto a stool. “What will it be today, gentlebeings?” he said in a voice that sounded ridiculously snooty on any bartender outside the Senate Tower.
“Uh. . . just a Corellian ale?” Corso said, looking awkward.
“Come on, Corso, where’s your sense of adventure? This is Coruscant!”
“I already know I like it, why bother changing?”
Jessasi shrugged.
The droid turned in her direction. “And for you, m’am?”
“How about a Nexu Tail?” It wasn’t a drink she could find everywhere, but when they do, she always got them.
While they waited, she looked around to see if anything exciting was happening. Someone must have just won a pazzak match. The guy was dancing around like something good had happened, at any rate. A cute, yellow-skinned twi’lek guy smiled bashfully at her and she smiled back. He brightened.
“Uh. . . Captain?” said Corso with just a bit of an edge to his voice.
“What?” I’ll talk to anyone I like, thank you very much. The guy looked at Corso, then back at her. Shaking her head, Jessasi waved him over.
As he got up, someone shouted from across the room and he turned. A moment later, he was bro-hugging a burly Cathar and Jessasi was back to waiting for the drinks to show up.
Probably for the best anyway. Her mom had always said “flirt all you want, kiss all you like, but don’t give your heart – or your holes – to anyone unless you’re sure he’s the one.” And so far, she’d followed that rule with only two exceptions. And she’d really thought that Mal was the one, so actually it was only one exception.
Thinking about Mal was on its way to ruining her good mood, but fortunately, the droid returned with their drinks before she’d stewed about it too much. They certainly served generous portions in this place. Corso’s beer mug was half the size of her head.
“What is that?” he said, looking at her drink.
“It’s a Nexu tail.”
“Looks like a couple of Zeltrons exploded in your glass.”
Scowling at him, Jessasi took a sip of the brightly colored drink. “It tastes good.” And they put way more Corillian rum in it than most places did.
Corso took a swig of his beer. “Really?”
“Yeah, try it.”
He sipped it, frowned, took another sip, then two more. “Wow, you’re right. Is that mujafruit juice?”
“I honestly have no idea.” She grinned and ordered another drink. Maybe something akdov-based this time. . .
Several glasses in, she could feel the liquor starting to work. A warm feeling stretched down toward her toes and she felt really relaxed for the first time in a while. Coming here was a great idea.
“I guess you should get to try one of mine,” Corso said, breaking a silence of several rounds.
He slid the mug over and Jessasi picked it up with both hands. The drink had a rich, gold taste that made her feel even warmer.
“You’ve got foam on your nose.”
She wiped it off and returned to her own drink. “You know?” she said, giggling a little. “I really hope Risha’s telling the truth.”
“So do I, Captain.”
“I mean, it would really suck if she wasn’t. And you can call me Jess, you know. Everyone else does.”
The droid reappeared, dripping with some unsatisfied customer’s drink. “May I refill your glasses, gentlebeings?”
They looked at each other and their eyes met. Corso grinned. Jessasi grinned. “Sure. Why not.”
Corso’s eyes were brown, she noticed as the droid trotted away to mix her another drink. A really nice brown. Why hadn’t she noticed that before? She looked away awkwardly. Someone was singing some kind of drinking song on the sunk-in section of the floor.
Their refills came back really fast this time and she started drinking again.
Setting down his already half-drained mug, Corso said, far too loudly, “Why do we never do anything fun like this on the ship?”
“We just got the ship back! And I can be kind of fun!” She shouldn’t turn her head so fast. It made the room spin.
Corso grunted and kept drinking. Jessasi followed suit. She was almost at the bottom of the glass before Corso spoke again. “We could get our blasters out and see who can take out the bartender droid the fastest.”
For some reason, this seemed hilarious and Jessasi started giggling. “I don’t think the cops would like that very much,” she managed to get out when she could breathe again.
He laughed too and scooted his stool closer. He smelled good, like a haystack, even though it had been weeks since he could have been near one. “Back on Ord Mantell, we used to run the rontos around in circles and see if they could charge us without falling over. We should do that.”
That set her off again and she felt tears coming to her eyes. “Got any suggestions that don’t involve farm animals, farmboy?”
“I know a few, but I might not be able to show you all of them here. . . “ He leaned in closer and Jessasi felt his lips brush against hers, his breath hot on her face. She smiled.
Then he pulled away. “Sorry, Captain,” he muttered. “I shouldn’t have done that. Propositioning you in a bar like a Hutt’s dancer. It’s not right.”
“’sokay,” Jessasi replied. Everything was starting to get fuzzy, but she felt sad nonetheless.
“Are you doing okay?”
She burped. “I thinks so.”
“We should get you back to the ship.” His words slurred together, but she wasn’t sure if that was him talking or her hearing. Maybe a little of both?
When she tried to walk, the floor kind of tilted like the Fool’s deck did when she pulled crazy stunts. Somehow, she ended up with her arm around Corso’s shoulder and they made it out to the curb. A taxi pulled up and the droid buzzed. “State your destination.”
Jessasi crawled into the seat and curled up on it. “Taris. That’s what Risha said, right? And we have to do what Risha says. She’s the only one who knows where it is.”
“Just take us back to the spaceport,” Corso said.
Oh. Right. The spaceport. The speeder started speeding along again – a speeder, speeding, how funny is that? – and Jessasi closed her eyes. It made her stomach hurt less. “I don’t feel very good.”
“Why don’t you go to sleep? You’ll feel better in the morning.”
“Okay. You know what? I like you.”
“I like you too, Captain.”
As the speeder hurried back to the spaceport and her ship, Jessasi fell asleep with her head on Corso’s shoulder.

Hey so I found your blog from a fic you wrote on Ao3 and I am (still) addicted to KOTOR 2. I just started playing SWTOR because I saw you post about it, and I was wondering if you have any tips on which companions are the best or romance options for NPCs?
First off, thank you for reading my fic and I hope you enjoyed it. <3
Idk if I can truly say who the best companions are bc I'm massively biased toward a few of them, but I can share my faves, both in terms of romance and just the general character personality and how well they mesh with my play style for different classes.
Hands down favorite as a character and comp for how I play the tech classes is Aric Jorgan(first comp for the Trooper). I like to play tech classes as damage/short range and set my companion to heal, he has an excellent AI for balancing when to heal vs when to contribute to the damage. Personality wise, he's a grump and a bit abrasive, so he might not be for everyone but I love him. He's also my second favorite romance, but we'll get to that.
Corso Riggs(first Smuggler comp), Vette(first Sith Warrior comp), Elara Dorne(second Trooper comp), and Talos Drellik(fourth Sith Inquisitor comp) are also all good matches for the way I like to play. My favorite Force user class is Shadow, which was originally a Jedi Consular option, but now that anyone can use it that's what all my Jedi/Sith wind up xD. It has a discipline that's tank-y(Kinetic Combat) so I can continue my center of the action with a healer companion ways, lol. Personality and just liking them as a character wise, you can add Nadia Grell(Consular comp), Mako(Hunter comp) and Vector Hyllus(Agent comp) to the list.
Favorite romances
Elara Dorne(m!Trooper romance)
Aric Jorgan(f!Trooper romance)
Nadia Grell(m!Consular romance)
Theron Shan(expacs, male or female romanceable)
Corso Riggs (f!Smuggler romance)
I do need to clarify I haven't done all the romances yet, lol. Still haven't check out either of the m!Agents options, or Mako as a romance beyond act 1(she didn't mesh with that Hunter romantically), or the dark side version of Jaesa.
Some of my favorite NPC romances are Jonas Balkar(Trooper story on Nar Shaddaa, f!Trooper can flirt), Numen Brock(Smuggler story on Balmorra, f!Smugg can flirt), Beryl Thorne(Smuggler story on Taris, m!Smugg can flirt), Sanju Pyne(Agent story on Balmorra, f!Agent can flirt), Watcher Two(Agent story throughout the game, m!Agent can flirt), and Ranna Tao-Ven(Jedi Knight story on Tython, m!Knight can flirt)
OH. Important to note, any companion can be great if you get their influence level up. You can do that through dialogue choice and giving them gifts. I think you get companion gifts as part of the reward for completing weekly conquest, but you can also buy them of the trade network(hubs on the Fleet, Coruscant/Dromund Kaas, and Nar Shaddaa). And if you go into your Legacy(Y key) there's a page for character perks, you can buy a buff that increases how much influence you gain from dialogue/gifts so it goes faster, which is especially handy for comps you don't get til late-game. So if there's one you really like, just shower them with presents, lol. There's a bunch of other QoL things on that Legacy page, too.
....I think that's everything, hope I answered your questions well enough(feel free to ask for clarification if I didn't), and I hope you have fun playing! This game's had me in a chokehold since it launched, so it's always fun to see new players. <3

AHRIDA
Gameplay Movie:
Aliases: 'Rida, The Butcher's Bane
Date of Birth: 13 BTC / 2,666 BBY(23 at start of game)
Gender: Female
Species: Cathar
Home Planet: Cathar
Affiliations: Republic
Class: Smuggler
Discipline:ScoundrelS
Role: DPS
Significant Other: Corso Riggs
Primary Companion: Corso Riggs
Preferred Weapons: Blaster Pistol with burnt umber color crystal, Scattergun
Outfit: (Impulsive Adventurer’s Armor Set), Ahrida sports a blue and black typical spacer’s outfit with a white linen shirt and leather belt, boots, and glove.
Species Traits: Cathar come from a rough Savannah planet, and have evolved into a dangerous bipedal carnivorous predator feline species. They sport retractable claws on their fully dexterous hands and have sharp fanged canines along with several other carnivore-aligned teeth. Their entire bodies are covered in short fur with longer manes around their heads, with the males sporting full manes that can cover their lower faces and the females partial manes restricted to the tops of their heads. Their ears are elongated and pointed, and the bridges of their noses are long and flat with flared nostrils. Some Cathar have whiskers. Their eyes are usually all iris with slit pupil, though some have more human eyes with smaller irises and rounded pupils. All have tapetum lucidum making it easier for them to see in the dark, and they are semi-nocturnal. They can make a variety of sounds, including but not limited to growls, hisses, purrs, and intimidating roars. Their Hunter instincts are strong, and they have bodies entirely devoted to hunting including increased speed, agility, senses, and strength.
Physical Characteristics: Ahrida has dark brown and lighter rich brown fur with darker brown striping covering her body. Her mane is dark brown, cut short and pulled back into a small ponytail. Her eyes are grey-purple, and she has claw marks over the still-functioning left eye from a fight with another Cathar in her youth.
Personality Traits: Ahrida is, at her core, rough-and-tumble. She doesn't do fancy, but she finds Corso's determination to "treat a lady right" endearing all the same. Personal gain is only a motivator insofar as it does not come at the detriment to others, and while she can be brusque and blunt she also has a quieter side that few people are privileged to see.
Associated Music: "Here's to Never Growing Up" - Avril Lavigne (https://youtu.be/4EZuLmiz7To?si=gHiCE05kb-uenU6f)
Trivia: Ahrida is naturally inquisitive despite her upbringing, and can be seen constantly with a holobook as she educates herself about the Galaxy and everything within it. Though she presents a cavalier outlook on formal education, she loves self-learning.
Personal Background: Ahrida was born into a litter of five on Cathar during the resettlement period in a rural nomadic hunting community. Fascinated by the stars and the greater Galaxy at a young age, Ahrida frequently snuck into the largest nearby town to interact with the pilots in the spaceport. She soon earned a job in a mechanic's shop from an old grizzled Cathar as his trade apprentice, and when he died without family his will and inheritance was given over to Ahrida. It wasn't much, but it was enough to buy a spaceship and lessons to get her license, and Ahrida left as soon as possible without ever looking back.
Just Some SWTOR OCs…
DTEMA
Gameplay Movie:
Aliases: Tem, Barsen'thor, Sky Hunter
Date of Birth: 8 BTC / 2,661 BBY (18 at start of game)
Gender: Female
Species: Mirialan
Home Planet: Mirial
Affiliations: Republic, Jedi
Class: Jedi Consular
Discipline: Shadow
Role: Tank
Significant Other: None
Primary Companion: Qyzen Fess
Preferred Weapons: Double-bladed Lightsaber, green color crystal with black-green center
Outfit: (Tython Highlander Armor Set), Dtema wears rough-spun white linen with pale grey edging made of plant fibers. This is paired with simple matte tan leather gauntlets, belt, and gloves with metal fastenings.
Species Traits: Mirialans are an extremely agile and flexible near-human species with very heightened reflexes that make them extraordinarily fast. Their skin ranges from dark green to pale orange-yellow, and their eyes and hair colors fall along the typical human range with the addition of violet, yellow, orange, and red irises. A highly religious Force-zealous culture, their people mark major milestones with stylized tattoos.
Physical Characteristics: Dtema has vibrant green skin and nearly black dark green hair pulled into an elaborate bun and long braid that falls to the middle of her back, capped in gold thread. Her eyes are deep orange-red, and her tattoos frame her face along the cheekbones and cover also the center of her forehead and chin.
Personality Traits: Dtema manages to balance the expected decorum and reservedness of a Jedi Master with an impish and somewhat mischievous sense of humor. She Finds her duties as the Barsen'thor to be very fulfilling and is a patient, understanding teacher. These qualities make her an outstanding diplomat and, combined with her skills with a lightsaber, make her a deadly opponent both on and off of the battlefield. She inspires great loyalty in friends and courage in cowards.
Associated Music: “True Colors” - Glee Cast Version (https://youtu.be/qtkYB1nkiqE?si=LleUXqsbhnjfiF8K)
Trivia: Dtema is one of the youngest Jedi Masters to have a seat upon the High Council, and is the third Barsen'thor in the history of the Order. Her training was guided strongly by the Force.
Personal Background: Born into the Force-zealous culture of Mirial, Dtema showed great aptitude at a very young age and was taken to a Jedi Temple on-planet at the age of four. There, she trained and studied hard in the art of the saber, diplomacy, and mastering the Force. She became a senior Padawan by the age of fourteen and was apprenticed to an elder Knight. Her first Master was killed on a relief mission, and Dtema was assigned to Master Yuon Par on Tython at eighteen to complete her training. She was Knighted shortly after when it became apparent that the Force was working through her.

Fictober 2020, Day 28
Prompt: 4 - “that didn’t stop you before”
Fandom: SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic)
Rating: G (mentions of child abandonment)
Pairing: pre-Corso/Smuggler
Jentinn glared at the nav computer infront of her. She didn't want to go back to Tatooine. She had already been there once after she left. The last time it was for profit and this time it was for generosity. They were going to try and find a Twi'lek named Jettison. Why did everything come back to Tatooine?
She heard Corso's footsteps approaching her. She wiped away her glare and returned to her neutral face.
"How far are we from Tatooine?" Corso asked and Jentinn straightened.
"A couple hours." Jentinn said with a shrug.
"You're not happy about going to Tatooine." Corso said and she shrugged again.
"Do you really think that anyone is happy to go to Tatooine? All there is is sand, sand, and Tuskan Raiders." Jentinn said
"I think it's more personal than that." Corso said and Jentinn looked over at him.
"Got me figured out, do ya, farm boy." Jentinn said sarcastically
"Maybe I do." Corso said and Jentinn snorted.
"Keep dreaming, farm boy. I am far more mysterious than you think." Jentinn said
"Maybe, but I think I'm right about Tatooine." Corso said and Jentinn looked forward at the blurry stars. She shrugged.
"I spent part of my childhood there." Jentinn said
"Why didn't you mention it the last time we were there?" Corso asked and Jentinn snorted.
"Tatooine isn't exactly homy. It's the planet you live on if you have no other choice." Jentinn said
"Why were you on Tatooine then?" Corso asked
"My mom abandoned me there. Tatooine isn't kind to orphans." Jentinn partially lied.
"I'm sorry." Corso said and Jentinn shrugged.
"It's the past and I'm over it." Jentinn said looking at Corso.
"So you don't have any family?" Corso asked
"I don't need family. I have my crew and that is enough." Jentinn said
"That seems lonely." Corso said
"It's easier not relying on people or being hurt, feeling loss." Jentinn said
“That didn’t stop you before.” Corso said and Jentinn shot him a look of confusion. "Relying on me, Risha, and Aozun." Jentinn shrugged.
"Sometimes it's necessary." Jentinn said and Corso frowned.
"I think you want to have someone to rely on." Corso said and Jentinn snorted.
"Are you volunteering?" Jentinn asked
"Maybe I am. After all I'm going to owe you after this." Corso said and Jentinn frowned.
"You don't owe me anything. You're a part of my crew, that means I'm happy to do this." Jentinn said
"Even when it involves going to a planet you hate?" Corso asked
"Even then." Jentinn said
“Thanks, Captain.” Corso said
“No problem, Corso.” Jentinn said

Corso + Smuggler = @shabre-legacy narrating the Smuggler’s storyline!
“Leikael hasn't set foot on Ord Mantell in well over a decade. Her first visit back and everything falls apart. She just wanted to make some money. She wasn't asking for all of this trouble.”

Stars In Her Eyes
Written for Chocolate Box 2019. AO3
There's a folksy saying on Ord Mantell, or at least Corso says. He's full of an endless supply of them and she suspects he's making some of them up, but this one she believes.
A kid born with stars in their eyes has feet that won't stay on the ground.
The stars have been calling since she was a kid, and as soon as she could she ran for them. Hopped the first ship going anywhere with the first crew that looked like they might not murder her and skipped planet without a glance over her shoulder. Whatever she was looking for, whatever was calling, it was out there. Being planetside makes her itchy, can't stay in one place. Needs her ship, needs to find... something. Every port, every station, she follows her feet and they always lead her right back to the airlock. Home. Her stars.
Skavak didn't just just steal her ship, he stole the stars and she despaired.
Corso's got that calling too. You don't run away at fourteen because you're happy where you are. He got to stay because he was fun and then he never left because some things about him were more than fun. She didn't know quite how to take that, but she said yes (to the courtship) and then yes (to the fucking) and then yes to that other thing, the one she still rolls around in her mouth at night when she can't sleep. The thing that makes her wonder what the next yes will be.
He may have a mouth full of rusty platitudes but his feet drum the same path as hers, always have. The airlock. Home. The stars.
They're offloading and resupplying on some planet whose name she's already forgotten. Tiny spaceport, inattentive guards, tossed down haphazardly in the middle of some farms like someone landed once and then never left. She's pretty sure what was in those crates was farming supplies.
Mostly. Respectable cargo. What is the galaxy coming to, anyway?
Corso grabs her a beer and they settle outside the ship, watching the loader droids whirr away and the sun set and the stars begin to twinkle.
They're not calling. When did they stop?
She looks at him in profile. Her husband, always there, from the beginning, running across the galaxy like they could outrun the dirt under their feet.
She clears her throat.
"So, tell me about that ranch on Dantooine."

Rating: M Characters: Female Smuggler, Arcann, Vaylin, Smuggler Crew, Female Sith Warrior Pairings: Female Smuggler & Arcann, Female Smuggler & Vaylin, Female Smuggler/Tau Idair, Arcann & Vaylin A/N: This got long y’all. Summary: “Two of my advisors were the victims of an assassination attempt from people within the Alliance. Until we ferret out the discontent in the ranks, I think it would be best if we send these people away. With you, if possible.”
Del took a moment to digest that. Xeraye hadn’t stumbled over her words when she’d named these victims her ‘advisors’, but the fact that she wouldn’t name them outright was telling. Not to mention that, if the attempt came from people within her organization, there were only two people who fit the picture Del was getting.
“You want me to take the Terrible Two,” she said flatly.
