weeee the sibling! i never really worked their story out unfortunately, but i figured i will upload them : ) they run on more of a swtor storyline, then the movies too.

Aryla (pink one) was force-sensitive and taken away at a young age by the sith, where she learned the ways of the force. Later on she rebelled and escaped, traveling the galaxy. That's when she bumps into her younger brother, who she didn't see since age 6. Since then Haroo (yellow one) turned into a pretty mid smuggler, just lying his way through the galaxy, having fun, trying to not think abt his past.

SWtOR-Tober 2024 Day 3: Chaos

I'm so behind because work and school, I do plan to try and catch up. Next segment is "Chaos"

So decided to use my smuggler oc! This isn't just describing Chapter 1, but the general dynamic between her and Corso. They both share a braincell.

I mean, they're just there to find relics + treasure and sneak stuff in, not fight Sith entities (okay maybe not an entity, but these people- nonForce users nor any form of solider- gotta deal with evil wizards? Girl just wanted her ship back.)

Oh, by the way, she had a twin brother with red hair (yes they are cousins to my trooper). Names? Must'arrd and her brother Ketch'up.

Ketch'up is my brother's smuggler character. We started the game back in 2020, doing story classes together (we haven't done them all yet.) But we usually do a theme together. It would be so funny to be running missions together and other players would stop dead in their tracks to do a double-take on the names. But hey, I feel the names are very Star Wars-canon friendly.

Anyway, the inspiration for this image is a meme I use frequently. I don't think I've quite captured the chaos (can't figure out how to blur properly yet) but I think I've done alright. I also chose Unus Annus because there's a moment in Chapter 1, saving one of the siblings from the Justicar, the exchange is:

That sibling: The Works? You wouldn't last five minutes.

Corso: Captain and I are so good, I bet we could last ten

It has the exact same vibe as:

Woman: My life is in the hands of an idiot?

Ethan: No, no, no. TWO idiots!

And I've come to make an announcement.

Corso Riggs isn't that bad. I actually like him. It's also the fact the first romance start, where he's buzzed, that as soon as he makes a suggestive comment, he BACKS UP without prompting and apologizes. I do tease him and stuff, but he's genuinely not as bad as people make him out to be.

SWTOR Ask Meme #40 - Oh shit, it’s been 5 year?! How do they feel about that? What’s their first thought after learning that?

Ohhhhh baby, was that bad!

Basically, Eva's brain shorts out in response to that news. In my canon for the character, Eva is destabilized psychologically as a result of the popsicle nap -- is it because of the bad freeze? Or is it because of Valkorion camping out in there? Or is it because just as Valkorion looked into Eva's head, she looked into his and found all sorts of awful things?

Either way, it doesn't help that Lana got her an HK droid for her protection and had it programmed by C2-N2, Eva's ship droid. The problem here is that Eva's grasp on past, present, and future (?) is fragile at best, and she had an HK droid as a kid.

That starts a whole series of dissociative episodes as well as flashbacks that she's still coping with in the early weeks of Odessen. Eva is thinking of her parents, her droid, her cat, her crew, Darmas (at one point), and other people she knows and loves -- and sometimes she sees things that she shouldn't know, because she was in carbonite at the time... but then again, there's the Emperor.

In sum, it all hits her like a truck.

Next up in the Gholden family is Gholden Boi. The third son of the family, and the brother closest to Rhule. He wasn't strong like his brother Brick, or fast like his brother Rhule, but he was quick-witted and used his vocabulary to confuse and confound his tormentors. He also became very skilled at slight of hand and outright theft. His Hutt owner always took what he managed to find and often beat him. Boi's flip manor and canned patter allowed him time to scan his environments like the space port or junker shops and pick a target or gave him time to distract his audience long enough to slip into the nearest shadows. He became very good at disappearing and manipulating the odds. Which is when he ran into the golden droid PH4-LNX. His shenanigans caught her attention. Rhule managed to explain to her their situation and his fear that his brother was going to wind up Rancor food if he stayed where he was. Boi denied this. However, PH4-LNX was intrigued by the young boy's skill and managed to set up a scenario when Jedi were nearby that allowed Boi's natural force use to show up. He hadn't known he was doing that, but she had an idea, having run into force manipulations before. The Jedi didn't negotiate with the Hutt and took him that very afternoon, but not before Boi saw what happened to his brother. Rhule, was the scape-goat of this situation and wound up losing his hand his dominate hand because the Jedi had "stolen" valuable property. During training, Boi excelled. His master was confounded by his strength but Boi's rebellion, non-conforming to the 'code' and his burgeoning adolescence created all kinds of problems. Finally it was decided he would either have his connection to the force severed or he'd be sent to some 'farms'. Overhearing this, Boi bided his time, planned his route, and escaped. Or thought he did. A rather unorthodox Jedi decided she needed to keep an eye on this problematic force user and remind him there were people who cared about him in the galaxy. Later on, having stolen, scrounged, and lied his way onto a freighter he found out she was there too. And she explained that there were a lot of ways to help people, being a Jedi was merely one of them. Eventually Boi wound up with his own freighter, becoming a damn fine pilot, and while he usually took jobs that dealt with smuggling provisions to those that were struggling, he wasn't above running some arms from time to time if the price was right and the cause clean. He picked up a shipment for a man named "Rogun" and well, the rest of the story is still unfolding.

18. Who is their BFF? 

Risha Drayen. Risha is one of her first real friends; Eva is sort of a loner after her parents die. Crew come and go, but it's all professional. Corso, Bowdaar, and then Risha become friends. Risha and Eva get each other in a way that the boys just don't understand. They have similar tactics for getting what they want, and they're both smarter than your average spacer. Eva has more "do-gooder tendencies" than Risha has, but Risha's not into killing for sport or being brutal for no reason- please pay up front. They both fall into the DS1/Neural/LS1 bracket. They're good business partners, and they watch out for each other when they're out on the tiles on a free night.

19. Who is their rival? 

That's a good question. Prior to Chapter 1, Eva was just a hand-to-mouth smuggler who competed with... well, every other smug in the galaxy. She never trafficks sentients, so she's missing out on a big credit trading, though she does run drugs and arms. After Corellia, Eva is sort of in a class by herself. Before Eva goes into the freeze, she is positioning Voidfleet to be a real rival to the Hutt Cartel -- they start governing Rishi indirectly.

After everything we see in game, Eva keeps the Alliance independent to be the public, polite-company face of Voidfleet --the Alliance is the avatar, the cartel is what this really is. The Alliance is not as big or as powerful as the Pub or the Empire, but with its slow, ongoing acquisition of previously non-aligned planets, Voidfleet is superceding the Hutt Cartel in terms of terrestrial planets controlled and goods trafficked. Eva controls the galactic underworld: where governments fail, she profits (plus those do-gooder tendencies I mentioned mean that she doesn't profit as viciously as Risha would like).
