One Piece Characters who are OBSESSED with eating you out. ♡
cw: fem!reader, smut
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
“Sit on my face, none of that hovering bullshit.” type of people who'll lay down and take what you give them. If you're gonna sit on their face, you better commit to that shit and ride their face. They'll keep a strong grip on your ass to guide you on their tongue.
- Zoro, Reiju, Smoker
Don't wear a skirt or little dress around them unless you want them to bend you over the nearest surface and eat it from the back. They'll spread your cheeks, tongue fucking your cunt then licking up to give your other hole some love too. They love the way your legs shake and you struggle to keep your balance as you cum but it's OK because they've got you and they're not letting go any time soon.
- Ace (heavy on him 🤤), Robin, Crocodile
First thing in the morning they're making sure you stay in bed with them just a little longer so that they can kiss their way down your body and lick at your pretty pussy. They know exactly where to lick and where to suck to rile you up in minutes. Plus, you're so sensitive in the morning that it doesn't take long to make you cum. They suck love bites into your thighs to leave reminders of your intimate morning all day.
- Shanks, Law, Tashigi
They're messy about eating your pussy; spitting on it, making you cum multiple times and cleaning it up with their tongue, even licking their own cum from your sensitive used pussy. They make you cum until their mouth, cheeks and chin are covered in your juices. They're not not satisfied unless they've made a mess of you and the bedsheets beneath you.
- Sanji, Nami, Ace

Where I Belong (Luffy x Reader)
Tumblr media
Pairings: Luffy x Female Reader (+ Strawhats and Reader) Summary: After a bad encounter with past friends, you just want your boyfriend and your crew. Warnings: Hurt, Comfort, mean friends, bullying [One Piece Masterlist] _____
When you returned to the Sunny, you didn't expect to feel so heavy and self-decrepit; you honestly expected the opposite.
When Nami informed you that the next island you would visit was your hometown, you had been ecstatic, instantly writing to your childhood friends in the hopes that you could meet up in the short time you were there. Your heart thrummed with the anticipation of being back on land you knew and breathing the nostalgic air of home. When you had gone to tell Luffy the news, he had joined in on your enthusiasm, grinning wide as you told him all you missed and all you hoped to see.
It had been several years since you had left the island and town you grew up in as a child. Orphaned at a young age, the people of the village had all become your caretakers in a way. They all adored you, a sign that the parents you have little recollection of were also adored before they passed away, and you had grown close to most who resided there. But you shared no deeper connection than the one you shared with your friends.
From the early stages of your childhood and into your teenage life, they had been the backbone of your delight in adventures, and the joyous memories spent despite being left with little place to call home. You would spend much of your time travelling areas of the island you had yet to explore, running in meadows on the back end of town, and giving puppy eyes to cafe owners who would spare you sweet treats. In later years you would gossip about boys, laugh at inside jokes, share in troubles and secrets and happiness.
When you had left your island, the goodbyes had been tearful, and bittersweet. Luffy offered all you had wished for since childhood: adventure, devotion, and answers about the world. With your mysterious devil fruit powers and harbouring an unnatural strength, you would be an asset to the straw-hat crew just as much as the crew would be an asset to you. That didn't make it harder to hug your friends goodbye or wave to them atop a ship that takes you far away. And as much as you adore your life now as a pirate on the sea, you could not help but reminisce.
You missed them, and you could not wait to see them again.
Upon arriving on your island, your senses instantly fill with a vibrancy and an air you had missed. "Come on!!" Your crewmates had smiled wide at your enthusiasm, basically dragging Luffy from the ship; a stark contrast to how he would usually be the one dragging you to islands. In an instant, the townsfolk had gathered, seeing a familiar straw hat and the young woman - a little bit older now - they said goodbye to several years prior, now back home.
"[y/n]!!"
"Welcome home!!"
"How long are you staying!?"
You smile tearful smiles as you greet the villagers who are all alive, safe and well. Familiar faces gather in your vision; the island's renowned cook, waitresses from cafes, shopkeepers and old family friends. They all seem so happy to see you and proud of the accomplishments they have read of in newspapers that travel the sea. '[y/n] [l/n], pirate of the Strawhat crew.' You were surprised by their support of your role as a pirate but it only amplified the nostalgia and warming feeling in your heart as you greeted them.
In fact, the only people absent were the childhood friends you hoped to see.
As people dispersed and gave you space, the local bookshop owner assured you that your friends were somewhere close by and that you would surely bump into them soon. Taking his words in confidence you had turned to your crew who had all been smiling and looking on fondly at the sight of your reunion with the townspeople.
"All right, let me show you guys around!"
You had taken your friends around the island, allowing them to see and explore the town that raised you as a child. They smiled when you spoke to them of the different places and what they meant to you, took suggestions on where to explore to heart and seemed genuinely happy to see where you had grown up.
"The restaurant where [y/n]-swan used to eat- The house that [y/n]-swan used to live- The shop where [y/n]-swan used to-"
"Oi, shut up, cook!!"
"Shi shi shi, this place is so cool [y/n]!!"
You grin as your friends seem to enjoy and appreciate the place you adored just as much as you. Sanji swooning over everything that had something to do with you, Zoro eying the liquor store down the street, Robin taking interest in the ancient books the island held, Brook in the music, Franky in the strange inventions, the list could go on. Your heart warmed at the sight of your makeshift family, getting along so well with the family that raised you. Luffy especially seemed excited to explore the island he visited before, keen to try the food that it was famous for.
"And that's about it! You guys can go and explore on your own now if you-"
Your words stumble to a halt when you see three familiar figures approaching you, grins wide and hands in the air in greeting.
"Hey [y/n]!! Is that you?"
Your smile instantly enlightens your face as you turn from your crew briefly. And sure enough, your old friends are waving to you in greeting, eyes gleaming in their joy to see you again.
"It's been so long!!"
They instantly envelop you in a hug, filling the air with their questions on where you have been, and what you have been up to, and finally turning to your crewmates who smile wide at the company of those you have talked fondly about. Of course, they know of your friends, you would often speak of the adventures you went on and the times you spent together to whatever crewmate would listen.
"And this must be the famous Strawhat crew!!"
"Yep! Guys, these are my childhood friends I always tell you about!"
Your friends turn to your crewmates, eyes shining in awe at the crew you were a part of, now infamous due to the battles you won and the strength that every individual pulled. You smile proudly at the sight of your friends greeting your other friends, the compliments thrown and the sheepish laughter of crewmates as they thank them for looking after you.
"Shi shi shi, alright!! It's time for food now!!"
Your boyfriend wraps his arms around you suddenly, grinning wide as he tries to pull you to the restaurant on the island he adores as much as you do. You roll your eyes, but other crewmembers also perk up.
"Actually, I was gonna check out the bookstore."
"And I should grab some groceries-"
"Those inventions earlier looked SUPERRR, I was gonna go check them out!!"
Nami smiles to you emphatically, as she grabs Luffy's ear and drags him from you. "Ow!! Nami!!" She pays him no mind, however, and turns to you and your friends once more.
"Why don't you go catch up with your friends [y/n]? I'll take Luffy to the restaurant and we'll probably be around town anyway."
"But I want to go with [y/n]- Ow!!"
You smile wide at Nami's understanding that you had missed your friends and hoped to catch up. Other crewmembers nod in encouragement.
"Yeah, [y/n]! You should go, we'll be around here if you need us!"
Chopper smiles happily at you and you hesitate at Luffy's crestfallen expression, but ultimately take the invitation.
"Okay, thanks, guys!!"
"Take your time, we'll be here until tomorrow morning!"
Nami continues to drag Luffy away in bright words and smiles, as the Strawhat crew wave and disperse to the areas that each ignited curiosity in them. Luffy pouts, telling you to not be too long but ultimately persuaded that the food at the restaurant could keep him company for the time you spent away. And in their absence, you turn to your friends eager to hear what you had missed in the years spent at sea.
The beginning goes as you expected, courteous questions, still tentative in the presence of friends you had not seen in a while.
"So, how have you been, [y/n]?"
"How's life at sea?"
And to the questions you received, you replied in the same manner, still joyous, seeing your friends once more. Time away with the future pirate king did mean leaving a life you had grown so attached to behind but in its place, the Sunny became your temporary home. You still missed the simplicity of life on the quaint island you resided in, and seeing your friends ignited memories of the times you spent together.
"I've been doing great!! So many cool adventures, I don't even know where to start-"
You had thought your keenness in the stories you told of the adventures at sea would be received with the same enthusiasm. After all, you had spent so much time away and shared a heartfelt goodbye before you left the island. However, the longer you spoke of your adventures and the longer you spoke of Luffy and your crew, the more their upturned lips started to turn downwards. Their gaze on you started to waver, and in the absence of your crewmates as they walked to restaurants or looked to places around the island, their interest in you also started to falter.
"-and then, you wouldn't believe. But Luffy, he changed gears and punched him through-"
"Yeah, yeah, that sounds great [y/n], but we were actually going to go to the shops right about now."
You pause, surprised by the abruptness of your friend who interrupts the words from your mouth. Suddenly, flustered and thinking you have talked too much (though having only spoken a few sentences), you instantly quietened and nodded in inclined understanding.
"Oh, yeah! Of course, don't let me stop you guys! Where were we thinking of going? I remember that clothing store down the road to that cafe we liked-"
"Oh... you wanted to come too?"
You frown as they interrupt once more, the vibrant air suddenly dwindling with what their words imply, or the feeling you suddenly did not belong in a space you were so sure you did.
"I mean, I thought we could catch up! It's been a while right?"
Your words are less confident than you hoped, lingering with the hesitance that matched the sudden weight of your thoughts. You watch as your friends look at each other, the same hesitance on their faces making you more confused as to why they are acting this way. They seem to share thoughts between their eyes, but ultimately they seem to come to a silent agreement.
"Okay."
But the day that passed had been nothing like what you were used to, and the friends you thought you knew acted nothing like the friends you spent your childhood with. It seemed like an invisible wall was put between you and them, and you followed behind them as you travelled the streets and to the shops. You hear them talk of dinner plans, of meeting people and of events they do not bother explaining to you. They laugh at jokes you don't understand, pass you a sympathetic smile and words like, "You just had to be there," and, "Oh, sorry [y/n], you wouldn't understand, would you?"
And you didn't know exactly why, but those words hit harder than the times they would ignore you as they picked out clothes and giggled with each other. Or when they went through stores and chose jewellery for an event that would take place a week from the current day. Or when they seemed to talk in whispers and not let you in. Each time they acted like you were a fly on the wall, invisible to them though you spent the whole day with them. Suggestions from you to visit the meadow, or go to cafes you so missed fell on deaf ears and all you received were hums and, "Oh, we don't go there anymore."
Your heart felt heavy and the day was long. You tried to convince yourself that this was just what happens when you don't see friends in a while. They grow, they move on. But you also remember how often you spent missing your friends, how you wrote to them even with their sparse replies, or how you cherished and held the memories of them so dear. And now, you see them trying to get rid of you silently, push you away from the circle they made, and their initial interest in your happenings as a pirate had long gone.
It seemed, their interest in you had gone.
But the worst was when you had left to use the bathroom. When you had gone briefly and returned to your friends who looked at dresses, the afternoon sun was already falling to the ground. You were surprised at how the day had passed unbeknownst to you when it had felt so long. You wonder what Luffy was doing, and how Nami was doing taking care of your boyfriend while you were away. He didn't necessarily need to be taken care of, but the two of you often explored islands together and you wondered if he missed you as you missed him.
When you had passed through rows of clothing and were walking past patrons to your friends, you heard your name amongst words you know you shouldn't have heard.
"Damn, was [y/n] always like this?"
"Beats me, do you see the letters she sends us like she's better than us, travelling the sea with the Strawhats."
"Yeah, it's still a wonder they let her join. I only went up to her 'cause I wanted to see if her crewmates were worth all the hype they're getting..."
"Right?! Why did she have to send them away?"
You freeze, still hidden from your friends' view by a clothes rack that impairs their vision. Stomach churning at the words you hear slip past their lips. Your eyes widen, as though you do not see them, your name and their voices confirm it is they who speak to you like a stranger they ridicule, and in such a way that makes your heart sink. Your childhood friends, who you had placed such value in, mocked you for your life choices, and your role on the Strawhat crew, and hoped only to use you to get closer to your infamous crew.
"Did you see the swordsman? Zoro, I think it was? Talk about muscle..."
"And omg, Nami's sense of fashion is just so good, I wish I could've had her tag along instead of-"
It is then that you step forward past the racks, and your friends perk up at your sudden movements, words dying on their tongues. But you try to keep a neutral expression, despite the breaking of your heart. They seem to be convinced you have heard nothing as they wait a moment for you to say something.
"I-I think I'm gonna go now. I don't wanna keep my crew waiting."
Again, your words are hesitant, low but you keep them sturdy enough to sound like a genuine concern you are going to adhere to. Instantly, your friends stand, giving you more attention than they did the whole day.
"Oh, really? Are you sure you don't wanna stay? You could come for dinner, maybe even invite your crew-"
"It's fine."
You smile, straining against your cheeks as you do, hoping your lips have upturned enough to contain the falsity of your expression.
"Thanks for today though, it was nice seeing you guys again."
Words slip your lips almost robotically, hands numb as you feel your friends awkwardly hug you and say their goodbyes. You faintly remember them waving and muttering words like, "Good luck," and "We'll see you next time," but as your legs pull you free from the stuffiness of the store it is like your numbness comes undone. Raging feelings course through your body, and suddenly a line of tears lay on your lower lashline.
You curse yourself.
You hate the way you have been so excited to see your friends when clearly the same sentiment was not returned. You hate the way you wrote to them and reminisced about them and spoke to your crew so fondly of them. You hate the way they have such influence over your joy and the disappointment that drips into your system because of their words and actions. You had spent the whole day with people who barely spared you any mind, when you could've been with Luffy and your true friends, showing them your home town.
Luffy.
Suddenly, and perhaps, more than ever, you crave your boyfriend's presence and his wide smile. And so, you walk through the streets you used to adore, now burdened with the day you spent. Smiling half-heartedly at townsfolk who recognise you and bid their greetings, travelling concrete roads that glow with the sunset, walking familiar paths to the Sunny that was silent on the sea. A moment passes when you look up at the sight, remembering when Luffy had asked you to join him. The image of the ship was parallel to the day you joined the Strawhats: you were on the island looking at the Going Merry and making a decision that would change your life.
You walk, up to the deck, confused about the silence until you hear a yell from inside the kitchen.
"LUFFY!! What are you doing!! That's for [y/n]!!!"
"But I'm hungryyy!! She won't mind, she always shares with me!!"
"You ate at the restaurant!!"
When you open the door, you are met by the sight of Nami trying to wrangle food from Luffy's clutches. You recognised the meal as something your favourite restaurant makes, it was your favourite meal, and something you missed dearly, along with the island. There are two beats of silence until Luffy turns, face suddenly going from frustrated to a wide grin the instant he notices you.
"[y/n]!!"
Luffy jumps from the spot where he had been trying to steal food from Nami, instantly enveloping you in a hug that takes you stumbling back a few steps. Nami sighs loudly before putting the packed meal on the counter and stomping outside the kitchen.
"Idiot... I'll be on the island with the crew!!"
She doesn't wait for your reply and leaves the kitchen in abrupt frustration. Luffy doesn't seem to mind her absence though as he lifts his head from where he embraces you, a smile tugging against the corners of his lips. Still downtrodden from the day's events and trials, you take the sight in and feel the weight of the day fall onto you and disappear at the same time. Tears start to line your eyes once more, but you hold them in, unfortunately for you, however, Luffy notices your quiet and despondency.
"[y/n]? What's wrong?"
He releases you from his deathly embrace as he looks at you seriously. You on the other hand laugh softly as you shake your head, suddenly relieved to be with your boyfriend and away from the friends who made you feel so awful about yourself.
"Nothing's wrong... I just missed you."
Luffy hums in contemplation, staring and tilting his head for several moments as though analysing your features for a trace of a lie. But you guess your words are not a lie. You did miss him after all, more than ever when you were with your childhood friends; a burden and outcast. Your smile is still on your lips, and though sadder than usual, Luffy decides to trust you, as he matches your expression with a grin.
"I missed you too!! Look, we got something for you."
Luffy instantly turns to the counter where Nami just put the meal she claimed to have gotten you. Luffy smiles cheekily as he hands it to you. You smile at the gesture, it was a massive assortment of foods the local chef knew you adored.
"Wanna eat together?"
You don't even have to ask as Luffy jumps on a chair by the dining room table, eagerly waiting for you to join him. However, he must've sensed something was off with you because instead of going straight into the meal, he watches as you unpack it carefully. There was more food than you thought there would be, so you were glad you had enlisted your boyfriend's help to devour it. You pick up your fork and take a bite, savouring the way the food melts in your mouth, and ignites feelings of nostalgia buried so deep within you that it almost makes you cry.
"Luffy, this is sooo good!!"
"Really!?"
You turn and grin, but are taken aback when you witness the way Luffy is smiling to you. It is in a way that seems gentler, and softer than usual. There is adoration in his eyes like you were the treasure he searched the seas for, but hidden within are also the depths of understanding you do not usually see. It is instantly diminished, however, as he clutches a fork and takes a bite of the meal himself, face brightening at the taste. However, as he speaks there is a serious undertone that makes you think that maybe he was not so quick to diminish your sullen behaviour earlier.
"Your friends... They weren't nice to you, were they?"
You freeze and look to your Captain who looks from the food to you imploringly, a serious glint in his eyes, but a sad smile on his face.
"What do you-"
"You only look like that, when you had a bad day."
Luffy's lips turn to a frown now as he bites into the meal and lets the silence linger between the two of you. Still surprised by his words, but also moved by the way your oblivious captain seems to understand you to no end, you smile softly despite the tears that fall from your eyes, now unstoppable. Luffy still looks at you in concern, as he witnesses the upturn of your lips, and the falling of tears, and he waits for the words you speak softly.
"Yeah. They were different, changed, and maybe this isn't the home it used to be..."
You look to your boyfriend who remains patiently waiting for you to finish speaking your thoughts. You remember back to when you accepted his offer to join the crew. You recall the adventures you went on, your beloved crewmates and how so many had joined and how you had all come so much closer, like the family you never had. You remember confusing love confessions due to Luffy's inability to understand his feelings.
You remember the depths of care your boyfriend held throughout the entirety of your relationship.
How he would listen when you spoke of your adventures, lured in by the spark in your eyes when you talked of something enthusiastically. How he would laugh and smile and never make you feel excluded from the company around you. How he treated you and his nakama with such importance and faith. The stark contrast to what you experienced today.
"... but it's okay. The crew is my home now."
You smile and Luffy's eyes widen for a second before he grins, his same, wide and unfaltering smile. The two of you share in your gaze once more before Luffy takes his Strwaht and places it on your head. It fits snugly atop your hair, but more so there lingers the symbol that you were accepted, loved, and adored by the man you sit beside. Smiles linger as the both of you continue to dig into the meal in front of you and soon, crewmates come back to the ship and greet you in their pure, true contentment.
"Hey [y/n]!!"
"Damn [y/n], you never told us how SUPERRR your island is!"
"I had a lovely time."
“So many cute dresses!!”
As you watch your crewmates gather around the table, their own meals in hand no doubt by the local cook who provided them, you let the heaviness of your heart dissipate for a while. Whilst this island still holds memories and places you adore, with people you still hold dear, it felt like for the first time in a long time, you know where you belong.

Truth Be Told
Pairing: Luffy x Fem!Reader
It started with a simple supply run. Nothing crazy. Just a sleepy little island, a few shops, and some suspiciously overgrown flowers that Usopp swore were staring at him.
Then, of course, everything went downhill. As it always did.
The Straw Hats found themselves face-to-face with a strange man in a long cloak and a mask shaped like a grinning sun. He called himself "Veritas", and he had eaten the Honto Honto no Mi—the Truth Truth Fruit.
“Lies crumble in my presence,” Veritas had declared dramatically, “and secrets will sing!”
...Whatever that meant.
But they quickly realized the horrifying truth: anyone caught in his ability’s range would be forced to speak whatever was on their mind—completely, brutally honestly.
Zoro, red-faced, had admitted he sometimes got lost just so he wouldn’t have to help Sanji with chores. Sanji immediately confessed he once burned the soup but blamed it on Brook. Robin admitted she actually loved cheesy romance novels. Nami had squealed and tackled her with stars in her eyes. Usopp revealed he sometimes practiced cool one-liners in front of a mirror. Chopper cried because he said he was scared of Veritas’s teeth.
Then… it happened.
You were just trying to stay out of the blast zone, eyes wide as chaos unfolded. And then Luffy—your wonderfully unpredictable captain—pointed directly at you.
And said: “I think Y/N looks super cute when she wears my hat. I kinda wanna kiss her when she smiles like that.”
Silence. Utter, paralyzing silence.
You froze. The crew froze. Luffy blinked, confused, then looked around. “Huh?”
“…Luffy,” Nami said, slowly. “Did you just…?”
He squawked, clutching his mouth like he could shove the words back in. “I-I didn’t mean to say that!!”
“Yes, you did,” Robin said with a warm smile.
“No, I didn’t!! I mean—I did, but I didn’t mean to say it!”
You felt your cheeks go up in flames. Luffy was bright red—a sight rarer than sea stone. He yanked his hat off and clutched it to his chest, eyes wide and panicked.
“I—I wasn’t gonna tell her yet!!”
“Yet?!” you and half the crew yelled.
Usopp’s mouth dropped. “Luffy… likes someone?” Zoro blinked slowly. “...Guess weirder things have happened.” Sanji nearly fainted with sparkles in his eyes. “My little captain is growing up!”
Luffy turned to you, bashful and adorable, still clinging to his hat. “I just… I think you’re cute, okay?! Especially when you wear my hat. And I like you a lot. And your laugh makes me feel weird in my chest and I don’t know what that means, but I think it means I really, really like you.”
You smiled, stepping close to him, your own cheeks still warm. “...So can I keep borrowing your hat, then?”
His face lit up. “Only if you promise to smile while you wear it.”
The crew collectively melted. Even Zoro smiled (a little).
You took the hat gently from his hands and plopped it on your head. “Deal, Captain.”
Luffy stared at you like he’d just found the One Piece. Then he yelled—far too loud—“WAAAH, SHE’S EVEN CUTER NOW!!!”
Veritas, by that point, had long since been knocked out by Robin (For plot convenience), but no one really noticed. Not when their captain was standing in front of you, flustered and happy and absolutely in love.
And you? You were definitely okay with the truth coming out.
_______________
The stars stretched endlessly overhead, mirrored by the dark, gentle sway of the ocean. The rest of the crew had gone to bed—or pretended to, at least, likely still buzzing with today’s revelations. You couldn’t blame them. It wasn’t every day your usually clueless captain confessed he liked you in front of everyone.
You were sitting near the figurehead, letting the breeze kiss your skin, Luffy’s hat resting beside you on the wood. You hadn’t stopped smiling since he said you were cute. Not because of the words themselves—but because he meant them.
“Y/N?”
You turned. Luffy stood behind you, barefoot and in his usual open red vest, rubbing the back of his neck like he was nervous. His cheeks were already tinged pink, and he wasn’t even under Veritas’s spell anymore.
“Couldn’t sleep?” you asked, patting the spot beside you.
He shuffled over and plopped down, knees pulled up, arms around them. For a while, neither of you said anything. Just the waves, the creaking of the ship, and the soft sound of his breathing.
Then he leaned back and tilted his head toward you, eyes soft. “I wasn’t gonna tell you yet.”
You smiled. “I figured.”
“I wanted it to be cooler,” he grumbled. “Like, after we beat a super strong guy, or maybe after I saved you from falling off a cliff or something.”
You laughed. “So dramatic.”
“I am dramatic,” he insisted, puffing his cheeks. “But… I meant it. All of it.”
You turned to him fully. “Even the part about wanting to kiss me when I smile?”
He groaned, face flaring red. “Y/NNNN…”
You tilted your head innocently. “What? I think that part was cute.”
“…It was true,” he muttered, rubbing at his face. “You smile and my brain just kinda… explodes. And then my chest feels all full and weird and I wanna… hold your hand or something.”
Your heart fluttered. You reached over, threading your fingers through his.
He jolted. Then slowly, slowly smiled.
“I’ve never liked someone like this before,” he admitted, voice soft like he was telling you a secret. “But I do like you. A lot. I think about you when we’re not together. I look for you first after a fight. I like hearing you laugh. I like how strong you are. I like everything.”
You were full-blown blushing now, cheeks warm and heart practically glowing.
“And,” he added, reaching beside you to grab his straw hat, “I wasn’t kidding. You really do look cute in this.”
He gently placed it on your head, adjusting it so it sat just right. Then he beamed at you like you hung the moon.
“...Wanna wear it again?”
You smiled, scooting closer until your shoulders touched. “Only if you promise to kiss me next time I smile.”
Luffy stared at you. Then he leaned in, face red but determined, and pressed the softest kiss to your cheek.
“I’m practicing,” he mumbled. “So I can kiss you for real when you smile next.”
You turned to him, and smiled.
He kissed you again.

Tumblr media
the past couple of days have been empty. eerily lonely at times when she wakes up just to drag her feet downstairs of her parent’s home to get a meal by herself and make her way back up after. prior to their predicament, she had planned so many activities to do with logan over their week off.
she turns over when she wakes up, just like every other morning and picks up her phone. hoping, wishing, desperately waiting for a specific text message to dawn her. there are several other notifications but they just don’t seem to matter.
when will logan text, when will he apologise— more importantly, when can they be best friends again?
she misses him.
she’s wondered over the past few days since they fell out mid-race, how other people get through something like this. it’s never been a problem, not for them, because they made a promise.
sure, they were young, but it was easy to think that they would never let their careers get the better of them.
she remembers speaking in hushed whispers, as if it was a crime, promising one another that they would always be best friends no matter what. they would never let what happened to others happen to them.
she hasn’t spoken to oscar much either. she tries to lie to herself and say that he’s probably busy spending time with lily and his family, but a smaller part of her assumes that he’s pulling away because of logan. oscar tries to convince her and say that isn’t the case, but she’s slowly starting to believe her lie.
she lays awake for some time wondering if logan missed her the same, or if reaching out had ever crossed his mind. she can’t be the only one feeling this way, right?
her finger hovers over his caller id, going back and forth the decision of dropping him a call. but she is still insistent that she is not wrong. he clearly clipped her car, so why should she? everyone could see that but him.
it hurts, but it hurts more than when she would get into days-long arguments with oscar.
she hasn’t had her own share of a heartbreak, but somehow hurts in the way that some of her friends would describe it to her. it’s more than the pain you feel when you’re falling out with a best friend.
instead, she locks her phone and gets out of bed to start whatever is left of her day.
Tumblr media
is this really how it’s going to be? losing his best friend over one crash out of the many others they’ve had since they met?
he stares at the ceiling with stubby resting his paws on his stomach, pondering if he truly is doing the right thing by holding out.
but every time he thinks of finally apologising, he remembers every other time that he had to put aside his pride just to keep her around. not that it truly ever mattered — their friendship always comes above all else — he just finds it incredibly unfair.
how about this once, she is the one who puts her pride aside to keep their friendship? does it really have to always be him?
then he starts to wonder if he is the only one who thinks of their friendship this way. maybe he’s the only one holding onto something that’s dwindled over the years; she has new friends anyway.
logan misses her. the apartment simply isn’t the same without him waking up to his door opened slightly after she borrowed one of his hoodies to wear for a walk, or the shrill baby voice she likes to use when talking to their pets, or the whining and pouting she gives him when she doesn’t want to go out by herself but refuses to ask him if he wants to come with her.
sometimes he misses her more than a best friend should. though, that’s not really the point.
it makes sense now to him how friends fall apart when they’re in the same sport. but even with just one example, there’s also another pair of best friends who seem closer than they were before.
now he is conflicted. none of it makes sense at all.
but only time can tell if he is doing the right thing. or, if she would even realise that their friendship should be greater than whatever the hell the situation is right now.
Tumblr media
“you’re telling me that you and rocky have not spoken for an entire week?”
logan shrugs, “yeah, i guess.”
alex’s gaze follows logan as he walks across the room to take a seat, an eyebrow raising in confusion at his nonchalance. “and you don’t plan to?”
“not unless she reaches out first.”
logan lifts his gaze from his hands and meets alex’s eyes. alex doesn’t even know how to go about the situation anymore – it seems like he’s said everything he could say to logan to try and amend their friendship. yet, there’s still nothing he says that could convince him otherwise.
it would be a shame to see a friendship fall apart over a crash during a race.
not everyone can have what they have and maintain it for as long as they have. of course, he knows, he’s best friends with george.
a week into their 2-week break and she is holding out longer than he’s expected. he’s very apologetic for the fact that her car had spun and hit the wall, but it’s just unfair that he was expected to be the one apologising for the crash itself.
the crash was caused by 2 people, not just him. he’s sure there’s something there that she could have done better to avoid the accident.
“i’m heading out to grab lunch with george after this,” alex grins, “would you like to come with us?”
“sure.”
Tumblr media
she swings her hand up to stop the man from opening his mouth to speak to her, the door in her other hand. “don’t tell me you’re here for what i think you’re here for.”
“i’m not?” george grins with hesitation, dropping the pint of ice cream he’d gotten to soften her up for the conversation he wants to have. “come on, you need to speak to logan.”
she sighs and rests her hands on her hips. “i know sebastian sent you.”
he presses his lips together. “no, he didn’t.”
“it’s because i’m ignoring his text messages,” she scowls. yet she still takes a step back and opens the door wider and gestures for him to come inside. “i’m not stupid.”
george walks in, handing her the pint of chocolate ice cream he’d picked up. “it’s not your favourite brand, but it’s still chocolate ice cream,” he mutters. he turns as she closes the front door and huffs. “you need to speak to logan before all of this gets out of hand too fast and you regret it.”
“does he regret sending me into the wall?” she raises an eyebrow. when george continues to stare at her, blinking blankly, she nods and turns on her heel to walk into the kitchen. “you know this wasn’t my fault — you saw the footage, george! that’s so unfair!”
he sighs. he’s never been in this situation with alex, but he can only imagine how his world would around if they were. sure, it’s hard to get past something like this, especially at the stage of their career, but he just isn’t sure how to help either.
yes, logan had been the one to close in on her on the track, but why couldn’t they just recognise they were both wrong one way or another?
“okay, fine. whatever,” george says exasperatedly. “actually, i’m here to ask if you wanted to get lunch with alex and i later.”
she raises an eyebrow with a small smile. “sure!”
Tumblr media
“sorry,” george laughs airily, putting his phone face down on the table. he moves into the booth alongside the younger girl. “alex is running a little late.”
“that’s alright,” she mutters, reaching out for the menu. she opens the menu before it dawns on her.
she lowers her menu and turns stiffly to george who is reaching for his menu and takes his seat. “what?”
“why are you sitting next to me?” she raises an eyebrow and throws her head back slightly.
george puts a hand to his chest. “do you hate me?”
she shakes her head. “no! it’s not like that,” she scowls, “you always sit next to alex when we get lunch.”
he tilts his head and narrows his eyes as he pretends to think. “do i?” he scrunches his nose. “i don’t always sit next to him.”
but he knows that she poses an incredible point. he, however, hadn’t expected her to be so observant, as opposed to her typical carefree and non-analytical nature. perhaps this entire fallout has changed her slightly, especially without logan always next to her.
she hums without another word, confusion still written on her face, before she looks at her menu again.
she’s been to this restaurant numerous times since moving to london. it’s actually her favourite. a classic between her and logan, always making it out of their way to get food here when they’re back in town.
she doesn’t actually need the menu — she orders the same damn thing every time, swearing to herself that she will try something new her next visit. which she is something she abides by most times, always ordering a new side dish or by forcing logan to get something she wants but is too scared to try.
“i thought you would have memorised that menu front and back considering how much you come here,” george jokes, his eyes darting from his menu to the entrance of the restaurant.
he shakes his leg in anticipation, aimlessly flipping through the pages yet he still has not retained one dish in his head. it’s never going to work.
in the back of his head, he hears alex’s voice telling him again and again that it would.
“funny. that’s the same thing logan says whenever we eat here.”
truthfully, george hadn’t even brought logan up in the time they’ve been together. he’s pleasantly surprised that she was the first to address him again after their initial conversation at her parents’ front door.
“does he?” george grins slightly.
“yeah,” she lifts her head, lips pursed together as she stares into the distance, “i always make him order something new that i could try because i’m too scared it won’t be to my liking.”
he’s surprised. he didn’t think logan could come up in such a peaceful topic at this time of day. he thought that she would keep it hostile even when speaking of him.
“that’s very thoughtful."
she grins. “yes, i guess he is a very thoughtful guy.”
george sits up and adjusts the sleeves of his sweatshirt. he clears his throat. “speaking of logan-”
“no.”
“what?” he cried incredulously with a hand in the air. “you brought him up first!”
“no.”
“fine.”
Tumblr media
oh, they’re not going to eat at her favourite restaurant, are they? logan furrows his eyebrows as he’s led forward by alex and he increasingly gets more nervous as they get closer.
spending this much time away from her has made her miss her so much. he’s almost afraid that it might really be the end of their friendship at all.
he’s never eaten here without her. he acts annoyed all the time when she forces him to try a new dish every visit while she has the luxury of sticking to her comfort food, but truthfully, he finds himself searching for her voice in the silence.
can he really have a meal without her at her favourite restaurant? surely not. yet he follows alex inside without another word. he nervously looks around, finding remnants of all the meals he’s had with her here.
he sees george in the far corner of the restaurant, lifting his arm to wave at logan with a small grin. alex abruptly stops walking that makes logan halt before he can run into his back.
the expression on alex’s face is something logan has only seen a couple of times on the older guy. the thai sucks in a deep breath and holds his hands up in the air, “don’t be mad.”
logan raises an eyebrow. “why would i be mad?” he tilts his head as he tries to come up with a reason that assumption would come up. “it’s just a restaurant, i can eat here without rocky.”
“yeah,” alex nods with his lips pressed together. “that’s the thing.”
just then, a shrill and disgusted ‘what’ throws the relaxing aura of the restaurant off.
he knows that voice anywhere. he swears he is haunted by that scream in his sleep when he’s done something he shouldn’t have and is trying to keep a secret.
a head pops out of the plants in the divider. she turns her head and finds logan, standing in the middle of the restaurant just as shell-shocked.
so to hell with their argument, right? he should just apologise and get it done and over with then he can get his best friend back. and all will be right in the world.
logan swears that her gaze softened when she saw him standing there. he has to reason out with himself not to run over and pull her into the tightest hug he’s ever trapped her in. a lot has happened in the past week, and every time he thinks of reaching out, he hesitates.
in hindsight, why does he hesitate? this is literally his best friend in the whole world.
and she swears she will jump over this damned divider to get to logan. should she punch him or jump into his arms for a hug? this might be the longest she hasn’t seen the boy and the feeling of familiarity washes over her in relief.
“logan,” she says his name in a soft and airy sigh. the corners of her lips curl into a small smile as her shoulders drop from their tense position. “hi.”
“hi.”
his heart starts beating faster when she pushes past george to get out of the booth. alex jogs to where george stands, cozying up next to his best friend as they watch the scene unfold. they’ve never tried to parent-trap anyone into reconciliation before. this is a first and if they succeed, they would never shut up about it.
she walks over to him, smile still intact with her back straight. she stops right in front of him and her hands clasped in front of her.
her smile grows and she takes another breath. she can’t seem to find the right words to say to him now that he’s finally in front of her. “hi.”
logan grins, “it’s nice to finally see you again. i missed you.”
“i missed you too.” she presses her lips together and glances down at her feet momentarily. she raises her gaze again.
when george had finally told her logan was joining them for lunch, a million things ran through her mind. half of her thoughts wanted to start fighting all over again but the latter just wanted to sit down in silence and make up for all of the time they’d lost.
“did we really get ambushed by alex and george?” she snorts softly, looking over her shoulder where they stand with one another, staring intensely at them.
logan grins with a small nod. “i’m surprised they pulled it off, really.”
silence looms over them once again — the implications of the crash threatens another fight. logan’s heart starts beating faster as he remembers again why exactly he’s very persistent on getting an apology. just an apology, that’s all he’s asking for.
there is simply so much more to it than just the younger girl putting her pride aside over the crash. sure, whatever, he can come out and admit that it was ultimately because of a mistake from him on the track. what he can’t accept is the girl's unwillingness to initiate reconciliation.
does she truly care so little for him to be a part of his life?
“let’s go and get lunch,” she says, beckoning him forward to where alex and george are. she takes a couple of steps away. “i was really sad at the thought of eating here without you.”
“is that all you have to say?” logan raises an eyebrow. he stays planted where he stands. she whirls around in confusion. “we haven’t talked the longest in our lives and you’re just going to invite me to the table and act like we didn’t just have a fight?”
she presses his lips together and clenches her jaw. “if anything, you’re the one ignoring it — you caused the crash, remember?”
logan scoffs. how shallow. “oh, get over the crash already! you seriously don’t even see why this entire thing is an issue? are you seriously so stupid?”
“we were so close,” george mutters in a soft sigh. “why are they stupid?”
“i wish i knew.” alex purses his lips together before he steps away from the table. he clasps his hands together and steps in between the two, just as she took a step forward to answer logan. he holds his arms out to her to keep her distance from logan. “okay, i see it’s still too soon.”
“it wouldn’t be too soon if she could just realise how insensitive she’s being!” logan scoffs softly, pointing an accusatory finger at the girl. he’s fully aware of the eyes watching them in the restaurant. “i know racing is everything to you, but i swear if you keep acting like this, you’re going to lose every single person you love.”
she scoffs, taking a step back. her eyes start to glisten, making logan start to feel bad. “of course, it’s everything to me, i dedicated my entire life to get where i am.”
“yeah, so much so that you’re willing to burn bridges to stay where you are.” logan turns on his heel. “i will have lunch at home instead, alex. thanks for inviting me out.”
Tumblr media
“if you missed her and she missed you, what’s the problem?” oscar turns the seat around to face logan. “good on alex and george for trying to get you guys back together while i was gone. i really thought all this would blow over by now.”
logan shrugs. he turns his phone over and over on his stomach, swaying back and forth. “you don’t understand. she’s changed.”
“you keep saying that, mate,” oscar sighs tiredly. he throws himself back into his seat. “i still don’t know what you mean.”
logan feels a little silly. saying it out loud suddenly feels so superficial and overtly sensitive. “it’s stupid.”
“well, if you’re letting this fight drag out this long, there has to be a reason behind it.” oscar smiles slightly and nods at him, truly curious as to why all of this has blown so out of proportion. “what is it?”
“when we crashed, we both got out of the car,” logan starts slowly, nitpicking his choice of words for the fear of sounding a little too unreasonable, “she never asked me if i was okay. it was a pretty nasty crash for both of us.”
that’s it, really. that’s his only problem with it — she had never asked, not once, if he was okay. she’d just started getting angry, which was understandable, but it never really hit him why he was feeling so sad until he started getting examined for his injuries a while later. he’s personally curious if she was feeling better, but she still hadn’t asked him yet.
which kind of sucks because he’s starting to feel like he cares more for her than she does for him.
“oh, i see.” oscar sits up. “okay, i totally get it. i’ll speak with her.”
logan shakes his head, “you don’t have to. if she doesn’t realise it on her own, what does it really say about her, you know?”
“i know, but i’ll try talking to her first.”
Tumblr media
so oscar doesn’t exactly talk to her himself. truth is he can’t bring himself to be the one to speak with her about logan; he just knows he can’t pick a side. whatever she says, he’ll be trying to defend both sides and they’ll never get anywhere with it.
so, he asked if sebastian would speak with her. even then, sebastian hadn’t dared to speak with her about this. he would be able to have conversations with her about anything except this.
he just knows what she would throw back in his face so he already knew immediately that he shouldn’t be the one to.
so he went to the next best pairing who could potentially fix it.
the young girl gapes up at the duo towering over her as she sinks into the couch. she’s suddenly felt so small, a contrast to her initial bratty attitude from being interrupted from her lunch.
“what are you guys doing here?” she blinks. “why are you even together here?”
“what do you mean?” nico tilts his head. “don’t you like me? i thought you liked me? you said you like my presence.”
she furrows her eyebrows. none of this makes sense unless there’s something she’s failed to connect. “i do, but like… why are you here in front of me?”
“we just wanna talk,” lewis grins, folding his arms over his chest. “we need to talk to you.”
her confusion slowly contorts into something of suspicion. a scowl carves her lips as her eyes narrow into a glare. “seb sent you, didn’t he? this is about logan?”
“i told you she’s smarter than to fall for the excuse that we’re here just to spend time with her,” nico points out, turning to lewis. “she’s a degree holder, of course, she will see right through us.”
“and i said it doesn’t matter if she does. we just need to get the message across,” lewis rambles at nico before he turns to the girl. “i’ll keep it simple.”
she looks up, uninterested, sinking back into the couch with her arms folded over her chest. “okay. try and change my mind.”
“is logan your best friend or not?”
she presses her lips together. “yes, he is. or at least he used to be.”
“do you love him or not?”
she doesn’t answer. what does he mean by that? is there an agenda to this that she hadn’t anticipated for? is she really that obvious?
“what does that mean?” nico whispers. “you hate him or what?”
lewis rolls his eyes. “as a best friend. i don’t care if you’re in love with him, rocky. that’s not what we’re here for.”
she looks away momentarily. “yes, i love him as a best friend. what the hell does that have to do with anything? i’m sure he loves me too yet he doesn’t want to apologise.”
“is this racing thing seriously so much more important than keeping your best friend in your life, though?” nico smiles. hopefully, that gets through to her.
she scowls, “i don’t know — you tell me.”
“rocky.”
“it’s a genuine question, lewis.”
“this isn’t about us.”
“it can be if you want.”
“stop diverting!” nico yelps. “listen, okay, if you don’t fix this, you’ll need to live with yourself losing your best friend over one crash! not just for the time being, rocky, forever! for the rest of your life! can you really live with that?”
“maybe.”
“take me seriously!” nico stomps a foot on the ground. “he’s not going to leave the grid. can you really live coming into the paddocks on weekends all by yourself? no logan to carry your bags, no logan to giggle with when you want to, no logan to have meals with, no logan to come home to in your shared apartment with your pets. really?”
she sucks in a deep and shaky breath. she can’t. she really can’t see living the rest of her life out without logan around to annoy and cry to.
the past couple of days holding out from speaking to logan has been so difficult but can’t really get herself to admit to it. she can’t see herself winning any more races in the season and not leaving to celebrate with him, or flying back after race weekends to relax in their apartment with a bottle of wine.
lewis huffs. “you maybe need to be the one to swallow your pride if you don’t want to lose this friendship.”
“and i heard from the grapevine that you still haven’t ask logan if he’s okay.” nico looks away and innocently tries looking around the room to avoid her gaze. “his crash was pretty bad, you know. he had a concussion too.”
“did he?” she asks, her tone a little more gentle and her voice softer. “is he okay now?”
lewis shrugs. “go and ask him yourself.”
she stands up and brushes her pants. “you’re right. get out of my way, i’m going to apologise to my best friend.”
she pushes past both of the older men and grabs her car keys from the table by the door. she halts right before she makes it out of the room and turns. “thank you. i really appreciate this. i can’t imagine what it took you guys to get together just to put some sense into my head.”
she steps out. “maybe when logan and i make up, i could take some sense into you!”
Tumblr media
logan expected it to come in the form of a short phone call, maybe a long text message. not for her to show back up at their apartment with takeout in her hands and a small grin.
“what?”
“can i come in?” she grins hopefully, peeking into the apartment. “i brought us takeout from our favourite place.”
logan steps aside and opens the door wider. “why are you asking me for permission? this is your apartment.”
“i know,” she sighs as she steps in to take off her shoes.
logan closes the door behind her and he puts his hands into his pockets. it’s still very nice to see her and he’s genuinely missed her more than ever.
distance makes the heart grow fonder or something like that.
he waits for her to start up a conversation. when they stand in silence, him staring at her back as she slowly takes off her jacket, he attempts to walk past her. he was watching a movie with stubby after all.
“how are you feeling?” she suddenly asks, stopping logan right behind her in the very cramp entryway into their apartment. she stands up straighter and turns around, attempting to make a step back when she realises their proximity. “i heard you got a concussion too.”
he can’t help but smile slightly. so that’s what she’s here for.
finally.
“i’m feeling alright. just whiplash and muscle pain, nothing new,” he admits softly. “what about you?”
she grins. “i’m feeling okay,” she mutters. “i’m sorry i didn’t ask if you were okay. you must have felt like i didn’t care about you at all.”
“you didn’t get your podium because of me. i’m sorry too,” logan puts a hand on her shoulder and shakes her slightly, “it was in the heat of the moment. sucks that it took you this long to realise though.”
“are we best friends again? i got us food.” she raises the bag of takeout with a giggle and a feeling of warmth in her chest. “we didn’t get to eat the other day, after all.”
“of course, you’re my best friend, you idiot.” logan throws an arm over her shoulders as they walk into the apartment. he ruffles her hair from the top of her head and smacks it gently. “let’s not fight about something like that ever again.”
“well, don’t crash into me again when i’m fighting for a podium.”
“seriously?”
“okay, i’m sorry. i’ll make that joke again in 3 weeks maybe.”

Better Than Him

Tumblr media
The crew has been lounging on the Sunny all afternoon, the conversation light and playful—until that topic comes up.
“Robin-chan and Franky would make a great couple, don’t you think?” Nami muses, grinning as she leans back on the deck.
Brook chuckles “Yohoho! The scholar and the shipwright! Quite the match!”
Sanji, in the middle of setting down a fresh plate of snacks, nearly drops the tray “Wha—excuse me?! Robin-chwan deserves someone refined! Someone who understands romance!” He straightens his tie dramatically “A gentleman, not a—”
“A cyborg?” Franky cuts in, quirking a brow “Say it, curly brows.”
Before the two can start bickering, a new voice chimes in—smooth, confident, laced with amusement.
“She deserves someone who actually pays attention to her” you say, stretching your arms behind your head.
Robin looks over, interest flickering in her eyes “Oh?”
Sanji gasps, spinning toward you “And you think you’re the one for that role?”
A smirk tugs at your lips “I know I am.”
Franky snorts “Bold.”
Sanji huffs, regaining his composure “Please, I’ve dedicated my life to worshipping Robin-chwan! I serve her the finest tea, craft the most poetic compliments—”
“Right,” you interrupt, tilting your head toward Robin “And how much of that does she actually respond to?”
Robin chuckles behind her hand, clearly enjoying the exchange. Sanji, however, falters.
“I—she—” He clears his throat “A lady like Robin is simply too graceful to react so openly!”
You lean forward slightly, locking eyes with her “Or maybe she just prefers someone who doesn’t try so hard.”
Robin hums, resting her chin in her palm as she studies you.
“Someone who doesn’t just talk about how much they adore her,” you continue, smirk widening “But actually shows it.”
The silence that follows is thick with amusement, especially from Zoro, who’s been watching the whole thing with thinly veiled interest. “Damn,” he mutters, taking a swig from his drink “Didn’t think anyone would challenge curly-brows’ flirting and win.”
Robin finally speaks, her voice as smooth as ever “You certainly make an interesting case.”
Sanji throws his hands up “Robin-chwan! You’re entertaining this?!”
She merely smiles. “I always enjoy a well-crafted argument.”
You wink “Good thing I’m just getting started.”
Sanji looks offended. Like someone just told him that the All Blue doesn’t exist.
“You?” he sputters, eyes wide as he gestures at you dramatically “You think you could be a better boyfriend than me?!”
You shrug, smirking “I don’t think—I know.”
Robin watches with quiet amusement, sipping from her wine glass. The conversation started when Nami offhandedly suggested that Robin and Franky would make a cute couple, which led to Sanji protesting like his life depended on it. And then you? You’d decided to have a little fun.
Sanji scoffs, regaining his composure “With all due respect, madam, I have spent years perfecting the art of romance.” He straightens his tie “You can’t possibly compete with my devotion to Robin-chwan.”
You lean forward slightly, locking eyes with Robin instead “Funny,” you say smoothly, ignoring Sanji entirely “I don’t think she’s ever once responded to your devotion.”
Robin chuckles, tilting her head “That is an interesting point.”
Sanji clutches his chest like you just stabbed him “Robin-chwan, please, don’t entertain this madness!”
But you’re already speaking again, keeping your voice low, teasing, just between you and Robin “I could be a better boyfriend than him.”
The way Robin watches you—curious, intrigued—only makes your confidence grow. You gesture lazily toward Sanji, who looks about two seconds from fainting “I mean, look at him. He talks a big game, but has he ever actually listened to you?”
Robin hums, clearly enjoying herself “Elaborate.”
Sanji jumps in before you can “Robin-chwan, I listen to everything you say! I would die for you! I—”
“You would die for her,” you agree, turning back to Robin “But would you ever just sit with her? No grand gestures, no over-the-top declarations—just be with her?”
That makes her pause.
You take the opening, letting your voice drop just slightly “I could do the things that he never would.” You tilt your head, fingers tapping lazily against the table “Like actually get to know you, not just worship the idea of you.”
The crew is riveted. Zoro is watching with his usual smirk, Nami looks thoroughly entertained, and Franky? Franky is just happy to be involved.
Sanji, however, looks distressed “That is not fair!”
You ignore him, gaze still locked on Robin “Tell me what you want, ‘cause I can do just that.”
Robin swirls her drink, looking entirely unbothered “You sound confident.”
You grin “That’s because I mean it” You lean back, voice turning just a little smug “I could be such a gentleman.”
Sanji groans “This is ridiculous, I am the gentleman here”
Robin smiles, her expression unreadable—but her eyes? Her eyes say she’s thinking about it.
She places her glass down with a soft clink and finally responds, smooth and teasing.
“Well,” she says, amusement lacing her voice “You are making a rather compelling argument.”
The crew loses it.
Sanji lets out a cry of anguish, collapsing dramatically onto the deck. Nami nearly chokes on her drink, and even Zoro snorts at the scene unfolding before him.
You? You just smirk, eyes never leaving Robin’s.
“Oh, sweetheart,” you murmur, letting the nickname slip effortlessly. “I haven’t even started yet.”
