Our chambers? What is she talking about?

"Sieze your lies horrid witch, I won´t fall for your schemes!"

"Sweetie, could you please stop that charade? It is not funny I have really missed you. It´s been 6 months since I last saw you and held you in my arms."

6 months. Why does that feel familiar? "Why do you keep acting like I know you, when whatever spell you tried to cast clearly didn't work?"

"Spell? Why would I enchant you, my husband, love of my life, the father of our unborn child? She says, now with tears in her eyes."

Something inside you aches at that, like seeing her this sad makes you hurt.

You are the chosen one! Don´t fall for her lies and crocodile tears. She is just stalling, trying to trick you. Attack now before it´s too late, A voice in the back of your mind says. You raise your sword, but as she draws back in suprise and fear, you notice that her belly is indeed quite round. If she really is pregnant, you can´t kill her. That´s wrong, surely they wouldn´t want to spill the life of an innocent baby.

It´s just an illusion, you must slay her before she calls her guards!

No, something is not right here. You have been trying to ignore your gut telling you it´s wrong, and the growing feeling of familiarity ever since you got near her castle. If it was a spell wouldn´t it require her seeing you? You try to think back to half a year ago, but your memories are muddled.

Focus Chosen One! Fufill your destiny!

The oldest clear memory you have are the royal guards informing you of your destiny, to rid these lands of the terrible witch queen. Why can´t you remember anything before that?

Nothing else matters. You have your duty and your purpose, that is the only thing that matters right now!

Your breaths quicken. Your mind is a mess, and there are too many thoughts and voices in your head, and you don´t understand anything, and suddenly you become aware of hands around you face.

"Oh darling, what have they done to you."

You wish you knew, or at least that your mind would stop hurting. It´s too much, and those hands are so gentle and you´re so scared, and tired, and don´t know what to trust anymore so when you fall into darkness you are full of relief.

You wake up in a giant bed, in a lavishly decorated room. Your head still aches, but not as much, which means you probably aren´t dead, which is suprising, very confusing and slightly annoying. Couldn´t she had let you free when you happily accepted it, instead of toying with you first? Perhaps she wanted to get information out of you first.

Or perhaps she wasn´t the lying one.

"You are awake! She says, stepping into the room with a tray of food. Are you hungry? I made your favoirites." At the concern in your face, she adds in a voice that sounds sligthly wounded. "I promise you it is safe to eat." She tears half of one of the bread rolls and eats it, before putting the tray closer to you. The smell is sweet and divine, and your stomach growls. You slowly reach out for the other half of the one she ate, almost on instinct. You haven´t eaten in a while, and never something that smelled so delicous.

Or have you? You barely remember anything about your life, and isn´t there something familiar about that smell, and this bed, and this woman?

What are you doing? It is obiusly poisened with something she is immune to!

Well if it is, then at least I will be spared any torture, you think as you put it in your mouth. It practicly melts in your mouth, and is so sweet and tastes like like, home and love, like something you can´t describe, and soon there are no more rolls on the tray.

She grins at you, in a way that fills you with warmth. "I´m glad to see you still like them. While you rested, I have searched all my tomes, and I think I have a way to give us some more anwers. If you would permit, I would like to try it."

"Why are you asking me?"

"Your mind has been forcefully tampered with enough. I couldn´t do that to you too, even if it should not do anything, but uncover what you have lost."

She is evil and dangerous, and you can´t trust anything she says!

She is the only one who can grant you answers and you know that. If they where the ones who took it from you they wouldn´t give it back.

No! Don't listen to the voice of her trickery! This is a mistake!

You need those answers, no matter the risk. With resovle in your heart, and tears in your eyes, you answer.

As she places a glowing finger of your forehead, your eyes close automaticly from the force of the veil in your mind being lifted, and all your memories overwhelming you. After an eternity gone in a blink of the eye, you open you eyes again looking tearfully into the eyes of your loving wife.

Nerves wrack your body as you pace the kitchen, your heart pounding so hard you swore it was bound to leap right out of your ribcage if you were to stop moving.

Spencer called a few minutes ago to let you know he was on his way home, leaving you with almost an hour to set everything up for his surprise. You’d kept the call brief and kept your voice even so he wouldn’t suspect anything—a surprising feat, considering your body was (and still is) trembling like a leaf caught in a windstorm. In a way, you were thankful he’d had back-to-back cases recently.

Despite missing him so much it ached and worrying about him every second you were awake (and even in your subconscious as you slept), Spencer being away so often made keeping your secret much easier.

The wedding ring on your finger spun endlessly as you continued to fidget with it—a nervous habit that you’d picked up the second Spencer slid it on. A glance at the clock on the stove told you he’d be home in roughly five minutes. A shaky sigh filled the air as you attempted to swallow your nerves, lighting the candles you’d set up on the dining table and fixing your plates with the food you spent over an hour preparing because everything had to be perfect for tonight.

The familiar sound of keys jingling and the lock turning sent your blood rushing through your veins, humming beneath your skin in an excited current as you wait for your husband to open the door.

Spencer stepped inside, wearing an exhausted smile and holding a bouquet of the most beautiful flowers he could find last minute before the florist down the street closed their shop. His face lit up at the sight of the candlelit dinner, the crinkles around his eyes making your nerves settle just a little. It reminded you that the man in front of you was the love of your life, and that, despite how scary it felt, everything would be just fine.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, sweetheart,” he murmured as he made his way over to you, pulling you into a tight but mindful hug so that he didn’t crush your flowers. "Dinner smells amazing. You spoil me."

A soft laugh escaped your lips as you waved a hand dismissively, pressing a tender kiss to his before taking the flowers to put them in a vase. "You don’t need to butter me up, Spence. I’m already your wife," you teased, though your cheeks flushed at the compliment.

"Something I’m grateful for every day," Spencer said with sincerity, moving behind you to wrap his arms around you and place a soft kiss on the top of your head.

After arranging the flowers in the vase and setting them on the table, the two of you sat down to eat. As you picked at your food, Spencer noticed you nervously fidgeting with your ring. His brow furrowed in concern as he wondered what could possibly be making you so anxious. Finally, he set his fork down, unable to stay quiet any longer.

"Honey, what's wrong? What's got you so worked up?"

His voice caught your attention, causing you to glance up from where you were gathering another bite onto your fork. Your teeth dug into your lower lip as you averted your gaze, contemplating waiting until the both of you were done eating or just telling him right now so you could get it out of the way. With a deep breath, you decided on the latter, letting your fork hit the plate with a soft clink as you cleared your throat.

"I...um. I actually have a present for you this year. Stay right here," you whispered as you got up, ignoring his protests as you hurried into your shared bedroom to grab the small box you'd put together for him. The box couldn't have been more than half a pound at most, but its contents had you feeling like you were carrying the weight of the world in your hands—and technically, you were.

Spencer eyed you skeptically as you returned, his gaze immediately dropping to the box as you placed it in front of him. "Sweetheart, I've told you that the dinner is more than enough for me—"

"Just open it," you urged, gesturing for him to go ahead with a quick, impatient motion from where you stood beside him.

A surprised chuckle escaped him as he raised his hands in mock surrender. "Okay, okay! Sorry." His fingers fumbled with the red ribbon, unwinding it carefully as he slowly lifted the lid. You kept your eyes fixed on his face, anxiously watching for his reaction as he peered inside.

Inside was a tiny onesie with Baby Reid printed in delicate cursive, accompanied by an ultrasound photo and the three positive tests you’d taken (because you hadn’t quite believed the first one).

Spencer stared down at the items in complete shock, his mouth opening and closing for a moment before he glanced up at you. "W-we're having a baby?" His voice trembled, his eyes welling with tears at the realization.

For more than a year, you and Spencer had been trying to conceive, with him meticulously tracking your cycle and researching every possible method to increase your chances. But each time, you were met with heartache and disappointment, tossing negative test after negative test into the trash. Eventually, you both resigned yourselves to the reality that, as much as you longed for a baby of your own, it might not be in the cards.

You’d never been happier to be wrong in your life.

Nodding your head, tears began to well in your own eyes as you flashed him a watery smile. "We're having a baby, Spence."

Before you could even process what was happening, he was up and kneeling in front of you, his hands gently cradling your stomach as tears began to fall. A choked laugh escaped him as he looked up at you, eyes wide with awe. "We're having a baby," he whispered again, pressing a tender kiss to your stomach despite the barely-there bump—just over eight weeks along.

The sight made your heart swell, one hand instinctively wiping away his tears, even as your own continued to fall. The other hand rested gently beside his on your stomach. And as you watched your husband speak softly to your unborn baby, you couldn’t help but feel that everything you’d ever wanted was finally right there, just beneath your fingertips.

Noah was generally a difficult person to buy gifts for.

He wasn’t big on the holidays or birthdays, so that narrowed down opportunities to actually buy him gifts.

We hadn’t celebrated our first anniversary yet either, so I wasn’t sure what was too much or not enough as a gift.

Hell, I was struggling to think of ideas for gifts that were outside of the realm of music or anime, since he already had so much related to the two of them, it was hard to come up with a new idea.

Granted, it was still about a month before Valentines day, but I wanted to make sure that I was prepared just in case I ordered something online that took a little while to arrive.

I had driven over to Noah’s place to watch some anime he had been begging me to watch since I had mentioned wanting to get back into anime.

The whole drive, I sat in silence trying as hard as humanly possible to come up with an amazing gift idea, but I still came up empty.

However, I did have that bright idea to bake him some cupcakes since he had really enjoyed the ones that I had made for Christmas and New Years.

But that still didn’t feel like enough of a gift to get him.

When I arrived at Noah’s, he welcomed me in with a warm hug and a loving kiss before leading me up to his bedroom where we would be spending the rest of our evening.

“So.” He sighed, sitting on his bed with the TV remote in his hand. “You’ve never seen Demon Slayer, right?” He asked.

I shook my head. “No I haven’t.”

“I really think you’ll like this.” He said, logging into Crunchyroll on the TV and settling against his headboard and pulling me into his side.

I did, in fact, really like it.

Over the next week, Noah and I finished the entirety of the first season.

That’s when the idea hit me.

I would get him a Hashira sword for valentines day.

It was a brilliant plan and I was extremely confident that he would like it too.

The only flaw in my plan was actually getting the sword itself.

Noah had never told me who his favourite Hashira was, so I was forced to make an educated guess. Asking him felt like too much of a giveaway at this point.

The sword itself was difficult to find.

Etsy had plenty of options, but they didn’t seem good enough to get for Noah. Some looked cheap, some had bad reviews, some wouldn’t come in time and some were far too expensive.

Then I found the perfect one.

It was more of a traditional katana, but you could customise it in any way that you wanted so I felt that it was absolutely perfect for Noah.

I made it all black with a flame sword guard to mimic the one that Rengoku had on his sword.

It looked perfect, but seemed to be missing something.

Then I saw it.

Right at the bottom of the website was a text option that allowed you to add whatever text you wanted to the sword itself.

It was a no-brainer that I needed to write something on it, but what?

Something valentines related was too obvious and then the katana would be less of a gift for Noah and more of a valentines specific item and that wasn’t what I wanted.

An ingenious idea washed over me as I sat staring at the computer screen.

I filled out the text box and checked out, checking for the confirmation email in my inbox and sitting back, happy that I finally bought Noah his gift.

When valentines day rolled around, I was ecstatic.

The katana had been delivered and was perfect and the cupcakes had come out even better than I had imagined.

I drove over to Noah’s place with the gifts, and knocked eagerly on the door.

A very tired Noah stood on the other side of the door with his bed-head poking out in all different directions and his hand reaching up to rub his eyes.

Realising it was me, he smiled softy and opened the door wider, welcoming me in.

Once he had closed the door behind me, he walked over and pulled me into a tight hug, kissing the top of my head.

“Happy valentines day.” He murmured in a sleepy voice.

“Happy valentines day.” I replied, pulling back slightly to kiss him.

He smiled into the kiss and picked me up, throwing me over his shoulders and carrying me up the stairs to his bedroom and setting me down on the bed.

“Wait, your presents.” I giggled.

He laughed and retreated back downstairs to gather all of the things that I had brought over.

“You seriously didn’t have to get me anything.” He said in a tired voice.

“I wanted to. Plus when I saw it online I knew it was perfect, and I had to get it for you.” I said with a laugh, cuddling into his side as he sat down.

“I left the cupcakes downstairs, but they look and smell amazing.” He said, kissing the top of my head.

Noah unwrapped the pink wrapping paper slowly and delicately, as if he was savouring each moment of this.

He opened the cardboard box underneath the paper to reveal his gift.

Noah gasped, not saying a word, as he pulled the sword from the box, admiring it and holding it carefully.

“Are you fucking kidding me.” He whispered. “This is the greatest thing I have ever seen.”

I giggled as I watched him marvel at the katana.

“I am the fucking king.” He said, barely audible.

I had definitely made the right decision with the inscription that I had chosen to have engraved on the blade.

His eyes shone like diamonds as he was transfixed on  the katana and all of the intricate details.

“Holy shit, is this meant to be like Rengoku’s sword guard?” He asked with an excited tone.

I nodded my head, giggling at my boyfriend’s nerdy nature.

For the rest of the day, he pretty much sat and admired his new gift. I was very proud of it if I was being honest.

However, when Noah went on tour a few months later, his love for the katana became even more apparent.

Matt had texted me a video one day, completely out of the blue, of Noah on stage with his katana, proudly waving it around as he performed Dethrone with a huge grin on his face, which was somewhat unsettling to see.

It made me happy how much he loved it.

But then I realised that next year I would have to outdo that gift.

And I didn’t think that was possible.

Not when the katana had made him smile like that.

Signs that a scam might be run by Laura Deramas & her common behaviors:

So as we know, that despite making herself famous as one of the most deranged, notorious scammers & perpetual liars on tumblr, its likely that Laura Deramas hasn't actually gone away, and is likely running several scams at any given moment at tumblr, as she's admitted to running multiple (on both twitter AND tumblr) not long ago. With these, we've seen her frequently have the same patterns of behavior on pretty much all of her scams, be it when she's using her own name & face, or someone else's (& she frequently uses other Filipinos' info, but she has racefaked or pretended to be different sexualities/genders/ethnicities multiple times as well).

So with that in mind, in addition to the usual red flag lists for scammers (ex: new blog suddenly asking for money, spamming asks, turns off /hides replies, changes url multiple times suddenly, etc), below are some common red flags to look for in "donation" posts/blogs that indicate this blog is likely a scam and specifically being run by Laura for the following behaviors:

She tries to send you a video or photos of some kind of a flood, a fire, or an old house in poor condition, but usually there's no proof that this is HER or her family's house, that it's HER footage, that it's not old, or that she actually lives there, and she never shows her (or the posters', whoever she's pretending to be) face. This means that the footage is most likely stolen, she isn't actually affected by that situation, & she's trying to pass it off as her own footage.

Uses the phrase "please, sir/maam" a lot. And i don't just mean saying "maam" to women & then "sir" to men, I mean as in sending everyone an ask/message with the phrase, quote, "sir/ma'am" unquote regardless of your gender

Is new to tumblr but somehow knows exactly which popular users to ask to reblog their donation posts, and usually they're Black. They may also target people who were previously victims of Laura's scams.

The user asks you to talk off of tumblr, especially if it's facebook.

The user is reluctant to give out their paypal and doesn't list it on their donation post. They may also use a knockoff fundraising site.

She starts showing you photos of things like a sad family or broken down house unprompted (or on her sockpuppet scam accounts, she uses stolen photos specifically instead) and starts talking about how much she's "suffering", often even if you've never interacted with her on her blog. She does this to manipulate people into feeling bad for her and will often repeatedly harass people this way.

She uses the ❤😩 😭🥺🙏 emojis approximately 50,000 times every sentence. Obviously that's a bit of an exagerration, but her scams DO use these a LOT. Her tumblr asks tend to also use a combination of these specific emojis when asking people for money or to reblog their donation post/scams, especially the crying & praying emojis.

Asks you to make or boost a donation post for her on other sites like twitter or instagram

Will allege that she can't speak English very well, but is only using English for her donation posts. She uses this lil nugget a lot in her other scam personas where she's pretending to be someone else, including ones she's literally admitted to. Laura can actually speak English very well. She's also used this even for accounts where her scamsona allegedly speaks a language that is widely spoken & has their own large presence on tumblr (like French or Arabic), so it doesn't make sense that someone who apparently has a lot of trouble with English ONLY uses English for their posts and ONLY follows English speaking users, & will sometimes use a shitty google translate if soneone who's a Native speaker in that language tries to talk to her in that language.

Might say something like "if you have any questions, ask me!" But then as soon as you ask questions that question whether or not its a scam, even if you ask very nicely or don't outright imply you think she's a scammer, (or even ask like. ANY question at all), instead of answering any questions or addressing any allegations or proof she's not genuine, instead she'll redirect, self victimize, and say that you're "attacking" her, and never actually provide any answers to the questions she said she was open to answering.

If you call her out, she'll keep insisting she's not lying, even if you have very explicit, hard proof that she's lying and that you know where she's stolen the "proof" documents from (like vet bills or xrays) or that her information is incorrect. If shes pretending to be someone else & is using someone else's photos and you say you know its actually her (Laura), even if you show HARD evidence that it's a Laura sockpuppet scam account, she'll continue lying and acting as if she doesn't know what youre talking about. She's done this with scams she later admitted to running.

Below under the cut is tactics/behaviors Laura usually displays when she's either been caught, or she's openly using her own name & face. Her scam sockpuppet accounts might do some of these things too, but the ones below are a bit more specific to when she's been caught, has admitted to lying and admits she is Laura behind the account, and/or when she's using her own name and face.

Might bring up her neighbors if you catch her in a lie and say something like "my neighbors will kill me" or being afraid of her neighbors & using that as some kind of excuse related to the lie/scam

If you catch her in a lie, she might say some story about "the police" or something along the lines of "the police" raiding her home or being afraid they will, and she usually brings this up to beg you not to tell other people she's scamming (she's used this story at least 4 different times and she's never been arrested or had any run in with police.) She's counting on people not knowing a lot about the Phillipines or its geography unless you live there (& this is a predominantly American site), so if she makes some claim about a law in the Phillipines, and it sounds wild, look it up, there's a good chance she's bullshitting you.

she'll start begging you to talk to her family via facebook, and specifically facebook, to "prove" shes not lying (note that her family knows she scams & is in on it, and several of her friends are also scammers on here, so they're there to backup her bullshit, but in cases where she's pretending to be someone else, it's likely one of her scammer friends pretending to be the family members of her scam persona to look more legitimate). She doesn't do this as much on her sockpuppet accounts, but if she does also take it to be suspicious.

If caught and Laura admits to it, she might try to discredit scam busters, specifically me, Kyra45, or mangocheesecakes by saying something along the lines of us allegedly being "bullies" or "targeting her for no reason" or that we are "racist" & alleges we only accused her of scamming because she is Filipino (this is incorrect, we accused her of scamming because we have hard proof she is a scammer & has been doing this for at least 3 years, and mangocheesecakes is also Filipino. Laura being Filipino is incidental.). Obviously her goal in doing this is to victimize herself and demonize us with the hopes that people will not believe us, and will donate to her now or her future scams. You're free to be skeptical of us, but if not us then you can ask the dozens of other people Laura has manipulated, harassed, and tricked into helping her to see that shes a serial liar, scammer, and a bully.

Can we take a second to talk about Niko's connection to the Principal?

Because I think we all moved on a little quickly from that!

General disclaimer before we begin: this is just my own theory and my personal interpretations. <3

As a refresher, The Principal is the Night Nurse's "Superior." We see her for the first time at the end of season 1, episode 8. In this theory, I will be analyzing the potential role The Principal plays in DBDA, especially where our beloved Niko Sasaki is concerned.

A connection between The Principal and Niko is undoubtable to me for two reasons: the first reason being that they intentionally focused the camera on The Principal zero-ing in on Niko's case card, and she has a visible emotional reaction to seeing Niko's name.

The second being that, before departing, she quotes what Tragic Mick told Niko before the face-off with Esther which ultimately resulted in her death.

One popular theory I saw floating around in the first few weeks after DBDA released was that The Principal is Niko herself, and while this is a fun concept I can't get behind it because, well, Niko is "alive" at the end of the season. Yuyu has confirmed that she's the one in the igloo with the sprites, and Steve has confirmed that Niko is not dead/off the show as well. While we have no clue where the igloo is for certain, or what state Niko is in, it's safe to say that Niko has not moved on to her afterlife, so she can't be the Night Nurses' superior in the Lost and Found Department.

My theory doesn't reinvent the wheel, but I personally think The Principal could be Niko's mother.

From a non-storyline standpoint, The Principal looks to be a perfectly appropriate age to have a 16 year old daughter. From a casting standpoint, Yuyu and Tamlyn also are a convincing mother/daughter pair. I think their mannerisms (body language and expressions) are even a bit similar:

But most importantly, from a writing and storyline standpoint, Niko's mother is mentioned multiple times throughout the season but we never actually see her or hear from her - not in a phone call, a voicemail, or even in a picture in Niko's meticulously decorated, aesthetic bedroom. This is what leads me to believe that the persistent mention of Niko's mom is an example of Chekhov's gun being fired.

Emphasis here on: "If it's not going to be fired, it shouldn't be hanging there."

From the persistent plotline surrounding...

Niko's grief not just with her father's death but also with her mother who sent her to school across the world literally the day after her father's funeral to "escape the sadness,"

to the pile of letters from her mother that she couldn't bring herself to respond to,

to the response letter she finally writes to her mom but we don't learn the fate of,

to Niko telling Crystal that her mom would always say "A mother's intuition is very strong," (which could be why The Principal reacted to Niko's case card in the way she did...)

to even Jenny mentioning Niko's mom in the finale

... and so on, the writers seem to mention her as often as they can, even up to the very end. This makes Niko's mom a sort of looming figure in the narrative, a thought persistently brought back in a "Hey, remember this?" kind of way to the viewer, and that kind of intentional presence needs to serve a purpose or have some kind of payoff later. After all - if it's not going to be fired, it shouldn't be hanging there... if we aren't going to get some kind of closure regarding Niko's family, especially her mother who is still alive, it shouldn't be brought to the viewer's attention again and again.

Also, The Principal being Niko's mother would make Niko at least half supernatural being (we don't know much about her father, but considering the fact that he's dead we can assume he was likely fully human). Niko being half supernatural-being would explain a few allusive plotlines such as:

Why Angie the fish does not try to tempt Niko into the water.

Why Crystal tells Niko that she should stay behind and not fight Esther because Niko is "Just a human."

Why we don't see Niko's spirit separate from her body at any point, nor do we get Death's blue light.

How the Principal knows Tragic Mick's last words to Niko and why she quotes them to the boys who were not even present at the moment the sentiment was delivered the first time.

Starting with Angie, it's obvious why the boys are not affected by her call: Charles and Edwin are incorporeal spirits, they have no physical body and Angie's call is sent out with the goal of finding food to eat, plain and simple. Niko not hearing Angie's call, considering the fact that she's flesh and bone just like Crystal, is noteworthy to say the least. After all, we can safely assume Angie's call can beckon more than one person at a time because the group is worried about the populated kite festival becoming an all-you-can-eat buffet, essentially. They need to figure out the case and only have 24 hours to do so before area is filled with bodies for Angie to tempt into the water, that's the whole time-constraint conflict that adds pressure to an already delicate situation. The first time Crystal hears the call she is with Charles at the top of the lighthouse with Niko nowhere near Angie, but the second time Crystal hears Angie she and Niko are standing literally right next to each other. Niko then confirms that there's "No voice" coming from the water after they save Crystal, but considering how Niko's grief surrounding the death of her father is such a huge part of her characterization - in the same way Crystal not remembering her parents is critical to hers - it makes no sense that Angie wouldn't try to lure in Niko as well by using the voice of her deceased father.

But let's consider what we learn from the Night Nurse: trans-dimensional beings don't die when they're swallowed by a giant fish, so they do not satiate Angie's desire for food. This is why everyone assumes Kashi is not human because he, like The Night Nurse, is alive inside the stomach of a fish. So if Niko's mother is like The Night Nurse, a trans-dimensional being, that would explain why Angie's call would not effect Niko, because Angie just wants to eat... and ghosts and immortal beings (even if only semi-immortal) do not count as food.

As for Crystal telling Niko to stay behind because she's human: this line felt so... strange to me the first time I watched the series. After thinking about it though, I couldn't help but compare it to Charles' line in the pilot episode right before they enter Esther's house. He tells Crystal that "She still has a life to lose" and they want to "Protect it while they can," and while the sentiment is the same, the dialogue feels vastly more natural and understandable being delivered from the mouth of a ghost - a dead 16 year old boy - to an alive 16 year old girl. On the contrary, Crystal citing Niko being a human when she is also alive and very much a human just as capable of dying as Niko is, feels out of place. There's simply no need for Crystal to clarify that Niko is a human as the audience has already assumed that and been given no reason to believe otherwise. It's a small detail, but the only way for this line to make any sense is if it serves an ulterior motive - perhaps with the intention of getting the audience's gears turning and/or serving as the framework for a future plotline. Again, if Niko is related to The Principal, this would make her half supernatural at least... so, ironically, less human that Crystal is and less likely to face a typical human death...

which also might explain the "Outlook not so good" on the Magic 8-Ball. It's not the worst response you can get, it's not a critical failure or natural 1 in DnD so to speak... but it's also not great. Niko's not alive, but she's likely not as she once was either (but that's an entirely different can of worms).

As far as explaining how The Principal would know what Tragic Mick told Niko, I feel like an infinite trans-dimensional being who works as a higher up in the afterlife's Lost and Found Department would have no issue accessing their own child's file. We know the Lost and Found Department is nothing if not rigid, specific, and detail-oriented, and the files they have include the details of every child's death - it isn't so far-fetched to believe that Niko's file (and all the files, really) would also include insight on what Niko's last day on Earth (interactions and such) were like. Not to mention the fact that The Principal tells the boys she can pretty much do "Whatever she likes..." so she's powerful, she has resources and abilities that might even surpass those of the Night Nurse (who can literally dig around in people's minds and choke people with a snap of her fingers). If she is Niko's mother and she just lost her child and husband in a short amount of time, it would make sense for her to allow Charles and Edwin to keep doing what they do because they are helping people like her daughter, and maybe they could help her daughter again.

Lastly, I can't help but acknowledge how there is some kind of recognition, spark, or tenderness on The Principal's end when she first appears before the boys. I've seen other people say they feel similarly, almost like she seems disappointed or a bit taken aback when they ask who she is. She especially lingers on Edwin for a beat, and we all know how important Edwin was to Niko! Again, this is all just my own theory, but if The Principal is Niko's mother, her sparing the boys of being taken by the Lost and Found Department with the tenderness she does - by using Tragic Mick's words, the ones offered alongside a good luck charm (the last kind act toward Niko before she died) at the boys who loved her daughter and saved her once and could very well save her again - feels tear-jerkingly poetic to me. The Principal seems choked up before she goes, almost as if she's repaying them a favor they didn't know they were owed - the boys saved Niko once, and now that good fortune is coming back around to them.

So what would that all mean for next season? Where might Niko be? Who knows for sure! Perhaps she is imbued with Dandelion Sprite magic, or is currently an "Undead," a zombie, like the kind mentioned in the Night Nurse's book in Episode 6... but whatever she is, I have a feeling the boys and Crystal will find her again.

But all this to say, whether The Principal is Niko's mother, a reincarnation of Niko's father, an estranged aunt or family member we haven't met yet, a complete rando with invested special interest in Niko's case, or shit - even Niko herself somehow - I can confidently say that episode 8 won't be the last time we see The Principal, and that we're meant to draw a connection between her and Niko.

Now we just need a season 2 so we can get some answers @netflix!!!!!

How Homestuck Beyond Canon Candy Timeline has/will have parallels with Homestuck proper around and during the events of [S] Game Over

Jane Crocker heavily aligned/influenced by with Crocker Corp. Notice how her neck accessory looks very similar to the Crocker computer tiara. There's also the circuits surrounding the button, which are reminiscent of Crockertier Jane's visual mind control effect by The Condesce.

Jane also kind of looks like The Condesce with how she's silhouetted here.

The head of Crocker Corporation on a large Crocker space ship. A ship which I would like to point out looks eerily similar to the ship that The Condesce flies around in except the forks/sporks are facing the opposite direction and it's got black on it instead of mostly red.

Jake dying at the hands of Crocker influenced Jane and coming back to life parallels with this Jane coming close to killing Jake, but stopping right before death. Same green text too.

The cast of characters surrounding this time in the comic are also similar.

We also got the whole Crocker laser beam of death being hinted at which we've absolutely seen before.

I talked about this in one of my previous theories, Jake is getting a better grasp of his hope powers; so, I think we could see another hope explosion again in some capacity out of Jake's concern for Tavvy.

I could also totally see Jake being held hostage by one of the Crocker Clones A.K.A. the Brig Boys and Kanaya cutting them up with her chainsaw (hopefully avoiding Jake).

This is more of a little side detail, but Vriska is once again on the sidelines while this massive important fight takes place because she's trapped in her own personal Hell this time.

CHARACTER DEATH FLAGS - I don't know how to organize this post and there was a lot more potential evidence to this than I thought there was going into it.

Let me preface this with the fact that the existential split between Meat and Candy sometimes seems to try to course correct itself and much like certain peoples DNIs, it doesn't want any doubles. We see this with Dirk, Dave (he died even if he ascended to ultimate self afterwards), June/J/John, Terezi(seemingly), Meenah (her other self is in the black hole with Lord English so we can't necessarily confirm death but yknow), Aradia (is just Aradia), Gamzee, Calliope (that is a whole complex situation), and Rose (if her future sight is correct, but we'll get to that). Those are the only examples I can think of at this time, but it's absolutely a repeating pattern of the universe sort of course-correcting to have only one of each of our main characters exist at a time. This, at least in the cases of Dirk, Dave, & Rose seems to be related to the ascension to ultimate self, but we can't really say if that's why the other characters only get one existence at this time.

Karkat has has at least 2 deaths from around this time, one involving Crockertier Jane as well which could be a sign of things to come.

Rose's death flag is that she has literally foreseen her death in her future sight. She is thinking about Kanaya and Roxy in the same thought process while seeing her own death, feeling full of regret (even though she's trying to repress her own feelings) about her relationship to Roxy and Kanaya. Very similar to her being regretful as she was dying in Roxy's arms. I'm also guessing the bullet that hits her will be from Jake's gun, just throwing that out as a possibility.

Kanaya also has a death flag here in getting hit by The Condesce's laser beam of death, but it's more of a maybe given that we see Rose's future vision of Kanaya holding her body in her arms. Keep in mind though we also had this bit of dialogue about the reliability of future sight right before we saw that vision.

JADE: dont forget im more than a little versed in future sight myself ok JADE: i dont care how credible it seems, you cant depend on that information!

Jake and Jane are also on the chopping block potentially, but I can't think of a way at this time, unless Kanaya mistakes Jake for one of the clones amidst her rage and ends up cutting through him along with the Crocker clones. The one pictured below was done by Aranea who is out of the story. Maybe Meenah's trident hits Jake somehow or something, I don't know. We also have meat Jake and Jane who are doing more okay.

On top of the parallels to the doomed timeline that was [S] Game Over, we also had Vriska say that this reality was fake and didn't matter. I'm paraphrasing and I don't know if we'll get a doomed timeline situation yet with the 4 kids still in it, but I just thought the amount of parallels was interesting & worth pointing out.

I also wanted to get this out before the next update in case it's related to the flash animation and any of my predictions come true.

Alternatively I think the flash animation will be Ultimate Dirk kick starting his SBURB home brew session on Deltritus. He probably has all the tech and narrative powers to do it based on what we've seen, they just need a species they'll both be satisfied with as the players for the session.

IVE BEEN MEANING TO MAKE A POST ABOUT THIS ANON !!!! u read my mind ….. so the reason why i dont consider komahina to be true and real toxic yaoi is because theyre intended to be mutually healing for each other.

their main, striking similarity is their upholding of danganronpa’s harmful societal values on talent. a theme throughout their interactions is komaeda explicitly stating a subconscious belief hajime has and then hajime denying that there’s any similarities in their belief system — everything komaeda says about the inferiority of the talentless is something hajime has always believed, just in a less self aware way. they both end up essentially killing themselves (komaeda in a more literal manner, hajime with the kamukura project) to become something bigger, something worth being called the ultimate hope, because they believe their talent status gives their life no meaning and they feel they have to “make up” for it. theyve always been similar; one sees the other in the things he hates about himself.

this is why, when they fall in love, it’s so groundbreaking for their respective arcs. in realizing the similarities in their belief system, hajime becomes more self aware about how stupid his insecurities are. hajime is able to break komaedas worldview by being talentless and inspiring hope/being an equal to his talented peers from 77b, and this makes komaeda realize that, because they are so similar, HE can do that too (side note makoto does this first when he kills junko, but komaeda knows hajime personally/saw hajimes development play out firsthand so its more effective). they feed into each other’s development and are able to grow from it.

they’re not really framed with much toxicity, and you can especially see this with allllll the visual parallels theyre given by the end of the anime. the juxtaposition of hajime grabbing komaedas junko arm to help him out of the pod and hajime grabbing komaedas prosthetic arm to help him onto the boat (paired with the line “let’s set off, in the name of hope”) symbolizes how interconnected hajime is to komaeda’s arc — his journey from old arm to new arm, from despair to hope to future. (and then theres the scene where hajime ditches ghost chiaki for komaeda too. and u see them eating with each other in the credits.) if they were intended to be toxic, they wouldnt have ended on that note.

and THENNNN theres also the fact that hajime’s really the only person capable of loving komaeda, in the beginning. hajime cant get struck down by komaedas luck, because hajimes the only one with ult luck powerful enough to counter komaedas. their lucks cancelling each other out is a concept stressed by the anime with the kamukoma gun scene. he’s also the only person with the guts to put in the effort to UNDERSTAND komaeda, a concept stressed in komaedas FTEs. hes the first person that physically can, and the first person thats made the effort. this is groundbreaking for komaeda.

theyre not toxic, they just go through a little angst period that ends up being resolved in the end. hajimes confusion towards komaeda and komaedas confusion towards hajime was necessary, they HAD to figure each other out because in doing that they learn something about THEMSELVES. that process comes with some angsting that is often mistaken for toxicity. of course they cant start dating mid killing game, THAT would have be pretty toxic, because a killing game is not a breeding ground for romance. this is why komahina never canonically starts dating - the time frame doesnt cover enough time for that. but they get two love confessions and the whole first fte is explicitly romantic.

Short timeline: at the beginning of February, Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf breaks the news that an employee filed a complaint with RBR's parent company in Austria about Horner's behavior. The initial news article did not clarify what the nature of the allegations were against Horner. (Link)

Red Bull GmbH said they took the allegations seriously and had hired an external lawyer to investigate the matter.

Horner denied any wrongdoings and retained his position as TP for the team. He also hired his own lawyer. (Link)

De Telegraaf released another article further clarifying that the allegations were of a sexual nature and that Horner attempted to buy the employee's silence for the alleged price of £650,000. De Telegraaf further said that there are many WhatsApp messages that prove the allegations were true. (Link)

Horner continued to retain his position as team principal and was operating as usual during testing.

Ford, future engine supplier, was the only sponsor (related to the team) that spoke up about the allegations and said they were keen to have this resolved quickly and said they would want Horner gone ASAP its company and partners to very high moral standards. (link)

There has been speculation as to why it was a Dutch newspaper that broke the initial news 👀, and whether or not Red Bull has been unhappy with Horner for a while and they're using this as an excuse to kick him out.

annie is super into decorating, whether its the christmas trees or their cookies or their gingerbread house, and i think finnick would have a lot of fun with the assembly and creating backstories for their creations

speaking of baking cookies, finnick wipes flour on annie's nose when they're making sugar cookies. so, naturally, annie smears his cheek with it. and, even more naturally, this snowballs (no pun intended!) into a flour fight each year

they would have so much fun in the snow!! johanna would challenge (and demolish them) in a snowball fight and they'd spend sooo long making the most perfect snowman (annie knits a scarf for it)
