Saw a FedEx driver driving sooo badly omw home today he was going like. 85 and double lane crossing wo a turn signal on an unbusy highway. Also the second day in a row I had to pull over for a cop 🙄 (to let them pass not cause I was. Getting pulled over. Yk what I mean)

I'm just gonna be insane for a second here, but for real, if you are driving 15 mph slower than the speed limit while the flow of traffic is 15 mph faster than the speed limit, then you are a fucking hazard on the road and the only relatively safe place to do this is in the far right lane.

I have a little fancy box that I keep on my altar near the Lady, along with some pre-cut strips of paper. For requests or thanks or just for the fuck of it, I'll grab a paper strip, write on it, fold it into a paper star, and add it to her box.

Sometimes you spend Saturday (one of your two free days a week) sitting in the stairwell because your insurance will only fill your specialty meds thru the mail and your doorbell is broken so if you want to get your medication you have to watch for the FedEx truck

"Someone could have delivered the walrus." There is nothing in the original poll that says there was a delivery driver. The text says that you hear a knock and you see either a fairy or a walrus.

Also, someone delivering a walrus to my house just raises further questions. Who is this person? Where and how did they acquire a walrus? How did they find my address? Why did they deliver a walrus to my house? Hell, how far did they have to travel to do this? Is this an out-of-state walrus?

People really be going out of their way to accept the weirdest fuckin' scenario possible before they accept the idea of fairies being real.

almighty pasta, as weird and creepy this whole situation is, i thought the megamind parallels were too funny to ignore 😭 hope this cheers you up a bit, especially considering the loss of your beloved headphones (as someone who is also reliant on noise cancelling, i mourn with you)

NO BUT THIS IS JUST AS HILARIOUS, THE PARALLELS??? 'There is no us, there will never be an us!' There were a lot of elements in Megamind a lot of us related to but the Pasta Impasta falling neatly into that, too, was not on my bingo card LOL. This does make me laugh though, so thank you!

And yeah, my headphones were just like... I loved those things and they helped so much, to the point I wasn't even aware of how much I relied on them. Like you said, the noise cancelling is huge when it comes to focusing, and on bad days I'd even play some form of white or brown noise through them. The good news is, the new pair I ordered had an estimated arrival date of the 11th, but the headphones got sent out early and now have an updated arrival date with Fedex of Friday! So if I'm lucky, I'll get them way earlier than expected and will be able to focus again in a few days! And next time, hopefully in another 6+ years, the second they start to fray, I'll be ordering a second pair to keep on standby. <3

The Jadetech experimental soap was still tacky on the sides coming out of the mold, but that's to be expected with how much rain we've had here lately. I'm going to let it continue to cure out of the mold for twenty-four hours before I try to cut it. It still smells SO good, though: it has this freshness to it that I wasn't anticipating developing. The greenery notes have really come center stage with just a hint of floral, which is what I was aiming for with the blending of the fragrance oil and the eucalyptus essential oil, so I'm super pleased there! I'll post an update tomorrow when I cut it into bars.
