FINALLY got the designs of the canon iterators nailed down. credit to @/poppy-purpura for the inspo with purple sig! it has nestled itself into my brain and will not leave. please. someone send help. it's tearing up the blankets.

i've also been playing with features of medibang and using ancient digital coloring tutorials so the colors i initially used got warped. below the cut are my colors and the sketchbook sketch that inspired this!

Desert Rain Frog (Breviceps macrops)

Conservation Status- Near Threatened

Habitat- Western South Africa coast

Size (Weight/Length)- 6 cm

Diet- Insects

Cool Facts- The squealing of the desert rain frog caused quite a stir on the internet a few years back, sounding more like a squeaky toy than a frog. These circular frogs make their home along the coast of Namibia and South Africa where fog is common. This fog soaks into their skin, allowing them to stay in their burrows for the majority of the year rather than searching for water. During the monsoon season, the desert rain frog emerges in mass and displays its impressive song for all to hear. Strangely enough, desert rain frogs do not start as tadpoles and are simply hatched as tiny frogs from to a lack of freshwater. Due to a mix of diamond mining and tourism, desert rain frog populations are slowly dropping.
