Miałam bardzo głupi a zarazem kuszący pomysł, czyli:

Coś w stylu Ever After High ale z dziećmi bohaterów polskich lektur.

To są tylko pierwsze szkice póki co, więc wygląd i imiona u niektórych mogą się kompletnie zmienić (oprócz Zefira i Belli. Kocham ich).

Jeśli chcecie stworzyć dzieci innych postaci albo własne wersje tych tutaj, to nie mam nic przeciwko i proszę tylko o to, żebyście mnie oznaczyli w poście.

HAD TO VOTE IZYDOR BECAUSE I HAVE AN OC WITH THAT NAME... I haven't shown him here because he doesn't have a proper reference yet but here is a rough approximation of what he looks like

The lore is kinda wacky but to make long story short, he is a sturgeon who committed so many crimes with his garfish buddy (the guy on the left in second pic. His name is Barnaba) that the sea goddess decided to give them both the worst punishment any sea creature can imagine: living on land. Unfortunately for her and everyone else, these 2 seem to be really enjoying their new status quo because being human gives them even more opportunities to mess with people and commit crimes!! ^_^

So um this is Rhymey.

He's a pathetic bard poet thing full of fun literature and art history facts, and is fully convinced that Kinger is the guy in charge of everything (because he's THE king, so why wouldn't he be??). Despite Kinger's attempts to let him know that he is NOT in fact the ruler of everything, Rhymey still follows him everywhere and insists on being his servant.

OH ALSO the color palette here is not his final colors at all. It's just aesthetic purposes. I have no clue what colors he's actually gonna be.

Po latach wracam do żywych, by sypnąć okruchy ludziom łaknącym więcej kontekstu i kontentu do Liceum Non Omnis Moriar

1) Julia Rzecka, jej kot Jar i zasłużony odpoczynek po licznych eksperymentach (zamianę substancji w złoto opanowała, teraz próbuje opracować, jak zmieniać je w metal lżejszy od powietrza)

2) Bella i Zefir bez jakiegoś konkretnego kontekstu. Po prostu chciałam ich narysować razem :-]

3 i 4) COOO CZYŻBY NOWA POSTAĆ?!

Tak, @nightydraws ... twoje prośby zostały wysłuchane i stworzyłam potomka Zagłoby. Napiszę o nim więcej w przyszłości, ale póki co dam takie ciekawostki:

-Roch Zagłoba został nazwany tak, by kontynuować tradycję, której Roch Kowalski sam nie mógł z racji tego, że miał córkę a nie syna (tak, to była ta legendarna Rachela, o której raz wspomniałam).

-Mimo częstego lekceważenia zasad bhp podczas tworzenia i testowania swoich wynalazków jakimś cudem ze wszystkiego wychodzi cało, co go tylko utwierdza w przekonaniu o własnej epickości i niezniszczalności (ku niezadowoleniu Racheli, która prawie dostaje zawału za każdym razem, kiedy on nie podwija rękawów i trzyma je ciut za blisko ognia)

I was inspired by @featherglum's idea of an Ever After High kind of school for Polish literature and allowed myself to commit an OC

Let me introduce you to the newest student of Liceum Non Omnis Moriar, Apollin Łęcki, son* of Izabela Łęcka from Lalka

He is still in a very early development stage, but I love him already

After months of saying that I'll post about the lore soon... the time has finally come. Here is the silly little story I made thanks to my weird fascination with The Palace of Culture and Science as well as watching too many videos about Polish urban legends.

"Ghosts of Sawars" takes place in an alternate version of Warsaw (the titular Sawars). The main character, Jagoda Skowyt, is very excited about her new job as a night security guard at The Palace of Art and Knowledge. Her grandfather was the architect who designed it, plus she always loved all the wacky urban legends about the palace being alive or having ghosts in it, even if she never believed them. Unfortunately, things stop being so fun when she finds out that there are indeed ghosts there, all of whom have beef with her dead grandfather... who was apparently an art thief and a murderer?!

Fun fact: Stagnacy is the only one here who doesn't have beef with Jagoda's grandfather. He never even met the man, since he wasn't alive in the 50s. He just lives there!

Had a dream where I read a chapter of "The Cyberiad" that doesn't actually exist so I decided to draw a character from it.

To be honest I don't remember that much of the story because it was a very small portion of the dream at the very end, which means I didn't even get to finish reading the chapter...

But as far as I know, the whole thing was about Trurl and Klapaucius meeting this other constructor who was a huge fan of them (I don't remember if he had a name but I decided to call him Komputeusz. I guess the English version would be Computeus). He seemed nice at first but you could tell very early on that something was off about him. Computeus owned a machine that was kind of like a demon of the second kind but modified to only give him information about Trurl and Klapaucius. He kept ignoring Trurl and focused solely on impressing Klapaucius. Computeus clearly had a parasocial relationship with him, but something he lacked was a sense of personal space. I remember there was one scene when he randomly decided to start holding hands with Klapaucius while monologuing and obviously he was like "what are you doing? We literally just met. Stop it.". Computeus also kept rambling about how difficult life must be for the duo, being the smartest guys of all time, having to solve every problem ever. Allegedly, this was what inspired him to create a machine that would allow him to change reality with his writing. That way, he would be able to effortlessly retcon a few other equally great constructors into history and hopefully make the world a better place...

... At least that's what he said and where the dream left off. But I don't really believe that this was his true intention.

Based on his obsession with Klapaucius and lack of respect for Trurl, my theory is that what Computeus was ACTUALLY planning to do was erasing Trurl's existence so he could take his place and be besties with Klapaucius forever and for real.

So in conclusion, I think Computeus would have basically been a very unhinged selfshipper who would stop at nothing to make his self insert a canonical main character.

His design was not part of the dream, but it is a combination of the way Klapaucius is drawn in the illustrations by Daniel Mróz and some of the very first concept drawings I made of my Klapaucius design ^_^

Testing out acrylic markers by drawing my current dnd character ^_^

She's a goliath bard who plays the clarinet and has her own weird system of spiritual beliefs related to windmills (she believes them to be like guardian angels, due to weird recurring dreams she had as a child and a few life-changing events that took place near windmills)

Also if any French people see this: yes, I named her after that hammer you're supposed to break windows with in case of emergency. I thought it sounded like a cool name for a character despite the mundane meaning. Plus, it ended up fitting her backstory better than I expected (I will elaborate on that someday... hopefully).

couple days ago i had a dream where there was a mandala graggle simpson like hoax where DC had an extra character that's supposed to be the identical cousin of oz and never made it into any media due to his similarities to oz in design.

his main role was apologise for his cousins actions lmao. his name's The Puffin.

Made proper references for Witkacy and Fryc since art fight is getting closer, which means I can finally ramble about the lore a little more :-D

So you may be thinking "Em, how the hell did that spooky scary soldier man and whimsical caterpillar boy even meet if they worked at completely different places?!"

Haha, well...

One day all humans disappeared. But it wasn't because of war or a virus like one could assume. No bombs, rubble or corpses. The day before, everything was fine and on the next, everyone was gone. No one knows what exactly happened.

Long story short, Fryc noticed the absence of his human coworkers and that no one picked up his calls, so he assumed that some big disaster happened overnight when he was recharging and all his pals were just hiding in a nearby bunker... But when he went to check up on them, Witkacy was the only one there and he apparently hadn't seen any humans either (even though there was supposed to be an inspection a few hours ago...).

Neither of them really knew what to do about all this, so they kinda just. Took this an opportunity to hang out, since neither of them really had the chance to talk to other robots before, let alone ones so different from them.

Eventually, after many days, weeks, or maybe months (they didn't really bother to count it...) of humans not showing up and the 2 robots spending more and more time together, they were like "Yeah, I don't think humans are coming back anytime soon" and became a full time travelling bestie duo.

Rhymey posting... This time with crumbs of lore!!

Ok so the funny thing about him is that he remembers both a lot and absolutely nothing from before the circus. Yes, he knows all the fun literature facts, but on the other hand, he speedran forgetting everything else from his life. To the point of being unaware that he even had a life before the circus! Like, as soon as he entered the circus, he even forgot putting on that headset.

Since he didn't remember anything from before the circus, he spent a long time fully convinced that he was just an npc (and was apparently so good at acting like it, that the others thought he was one too)

He was just a lame intern I think.

I will probably elaborate on his lore later.

(Also I kinda struggled with his last name, so I just stole it from a book and then spelled it wrong. But hey, he's all about literature facts so I guess that's fitting in a way.)
