My questionable Thufir design and one equally questionable Yueh cameo. I promise both of them will get more detailed outfits in the future. These were just the first doodles I made to get the vibes across.

Thufir is based off a stygian owl and Yueh is supposed to look like a basset hound but it's not that clear in this particular sketch. Once again, it will become more obvious in more finalised drawings.

I know the Dune prequels say that Vlad used to be skinny but like...

I genuinely cannot imagine him ever being that way. Best I can do is Rabban with extra steps. The Baron will always be at least a little chubby in my mind, no matter how hard I try.

Maybe I'm just too narrow-minded for whatever Brian and Kevin were up to.

I like to think that the Baron has a very complex system for deciding what rings to wear, depending on who he's hanging out with, where, on what day etc.

I also choose believe that said system was created by Piter, who was fed up with Vlad wearing the same few rings all the time DESPITE HAVING A WHOLE DANG DRAWER FULL OF THEM!!

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I'm not really against the idea of the baron flying (even if it wasn't in the books).

Mainly because I think it could be really funny in an animated adaptation. Imagine if he could just slide into frame sometimes like he's in a powerpoint presentation!! That would be so silly...

I would love to see "The Cyberiad" get turned into a tv series at some point. I really would.

On the other hand, with the way everything is going right now, I know that if they actually announced one I would spend the whole time leading up to its release nervously pacing around my room, worrying about all the ways they could mess it up. Instead of, you know, actually being excited for a full adaptation of one of my favourite books.

Izydor and Barnaba are characters I actually made a pretty long time ago but I didn't get around to giving them proper refs until now. They used to be an atlantic sturgeon and garfish (not to be confused with the gar, that's a different guy!) respectively. Not anymore though. They had to be banished from the Baltic Sea for various crimes. This was supposed to be the ultimate punishment, essentially the fish equivalent of going to hell or a similar nightmare dimension... but to everyone's surprise, these freaks seem to actually be enjoying themselves on dry land?? Apparently it has something to do with "having more crime opportunities" and "being able to blackmail caviar producers"...

I will post more about them in the future but if you are very impatient and want extra lore right now, these 2 are up on my artfight profile ^_^
