Hello there, and thank you so much for looking at my blog! I’m not sure how things are done currently, as I am coming back to the fandom, but consider this an introductory pinned post to my blog and a promo of sorts as well. 

This is a multimuse indie blog for the Fire Emblem series. Games included are: Blinding Blade, Awakening, Fates, Echoes, and Heroes. Oh, those types of magic Aversa mentioned were familiar to him, too! Except that this was the first he'd heard of using a tome to cast magic. But it sort of made sense, he supposed. Unlike monsters, humans didn't seem to have magic innately inside them. Not in the same way, at least. Regardless, “MONSTER MAGIC ALSO VARIES! FOR EXAMPLE, I'VE HEARD THAT THE KING HAS FIRE MAGIC LIKE YOU! BUT THAT HE MOSTLY JUST USES IT TO MAKE TEA?” Great guy, but definitely a giant pushover. “BUT FLUFFINESS DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN FIRE. FIRE CAN BE TRUSTED TO MEAN FIRE, HOWEVER! USUALLY. I THINK.” It made sense, at least! Grillby did indeed have fire-related magic, and he was simply going to trust that all the fiery monsters that lived in Hotland were the same. He sure had no intentions of visiting that horrid area to confirm that, after all. “WHILE UNDYNE CREATES ENERGY SPEARS WITH HER MAGIC! WHICH IS PROBABLY CLOSE ENOUGH TO YOUR MAGIC MAYBE? AND THE DOGS HAVE... DOG.” No elaboration was to be had on that one, it seemed.

What Papyrus had yet to pick up on, though, was that this world's human mages could often use all three forms of magic that Aversa had mentioned through the use of their various tomes. Such a thing was unheard of to him, after all!

Thinking again about these mysterious ‘magic tomes’, however...

“IF YOU CAN'T CAST MAGIC ON YOUR OWN, THEN MAYBE YOUR TOMES ARE MADE WITH MONSTER MAGIC! WE MONSTERS POUR OUR MAGIC INTO THE BOOKS, AND THEN YOU HUMANS CAN DRAW IT OUT WITH YOUR POWERFUL SOULS AND USE IT LIKE IT'S YOURS!” He... Wasn't exactly thinking about how monsters of his sort didn't seem to exist in this new world at the moment. “IN THAT CASE, IF I MADE A SKELETON TOME, THEN YOU COULD MAKE YOUR OWN BONES TOO!”

But, as the topic shifted to magicks of the darker and cursing variety… The idea of having some ‘subtle to severe misery’ inflicted on him was not-so-subtly concerning. Papyrus frowned, a slight amount of sweat beading on his forehead at the thought. Definitely something he'd like to avoid, if possible!!

“...BUT I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ANY MONSTER MAGIC LIKE THAT.” Sure, there existed a more complicated form of magic that could directly affect a SOUL in ways beyond just basic damage or healing—he could even wield a type of it himself! But those effects were temporary, lasting only as long as the caster could maintain their focus on keeping it active. He wouldn't consider SOUL magic to be particularly misery-inducing, either, unless he counted the ways Sans used his for pranking purposes. It was a powerful skill to have, to be sure! But it relied on a monster's capabilities with their more natural expression of magic for it to be really effective.

In comparison, while they seemed somewhat fundamentally similar, the clingy hexes Aversa talked about seemed a lot more dangerous, just on their own. Which seemed to be why she was warning him about them! But, again, was also rather concerning!!

“SO… YOU THINK ONE OF THOSE HEX CURSES COULD ATTACK ME IF YOU TRY TO SEND ME HOME?”

"The water is part of the blood which courses through everything. I suppose that means you've no marrow in your bones then..." interesting and more interesting. And the elaboration... So monster was just their label for not human and not animal? and they were bound as the same race through a magical composition...

Aversa's gears are turning, and she's not hiding the fact she's studying and thinking hard on this information as she may normally do.

"As for differing magics, from what I've seen so far? absolutely. Conjuring physical items like this," just going to wave the gift bone around a little, "Is not really something commonly done, even for the dark arts. Blasting slicing winds, scorching flames, paralyzing electric shocks... now that's common place, with the use of a tome. That's not even getting into the variety of dark magic..."

she's holding that bone with both hands now, clicking those long sharp nails against it in thought.

"As for clingy, well, the dark magics are primarily used for hexes and curses... designed to bring some subtle to severe misery to one's rivals and foes... and that's when it's done right and hits the intended target at that." why is she smiling with such a description?

Where are you from? What is your time zone? Grew up in the East Coast, currently back living there. EST timezone.

How long is your roleplay experience? Easily 15+ years. I did RP on DeviantArt of all things (and even became a mod of said rp); moved to tumblr RP when it got popular, but then took a break for a few years when tabletop games took interest proper; returned to RP when Cecil and I found TOA.

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? Outside of DeviantArt, I grew up playing a lot of make believe games with friends, which eventually moved to text. But really, dA was the big one that hooked me to RP proper....wild...

How were you introduced to TOA? Cecil was the one who found it? But I was wishing for more tumblr RPs around the time, since discord ones felt too intimidating.

Do you have any pets? Viola! Cute lil cat daughter

What is your favorite time of year and why? (Season, holiday, general period) I like the part of fall where the leaves change colours. Seeing flora change in general is fun for me.

What is your IRL occupation? IT Support; I also do game dev (mainly TTRPG) on the side when I can

Some interests and things you like/enjoy? I like running TTRPG games, drawing, designing and coding spreadsheets. Making improv games on the fly, rules and all. I also like exploring new places, especially when they're local. Picnics on the beach or park are great.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? A lot, but the game I just beat is Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm the sole remaining World Flipper fan- I mean, I like JRPGs a lot, so games like LiveALive and Chrono Cross come to mind as well.

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: Bug type. Snom, Grubbin, Pinurchin, Trapinch, pokemon that have the shape (tm) are my favorites. I've always had a soft spot for the Lati duo as well.

Tell us some funfacts and trivia about yourself! I've lived in Japan for a fair bit, and became N5 proficient through that. I'm trying to study for N4. I will also never stop talking about TTRPG - namely that I make games and one of them is Fire Emblem based.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? NO JOKE BUT I first learned of Fire Emblem through some promotional pamphlet that came with Pokemon Sapphire I think??? And then saw them in Smash. Cecil definitely helped me get into it proper.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? Easier to say what I haven't, which is FE1 and FE3 (or their remakes). Only played Echoes, not FE2. The only games I started and never beat are Warriors, Three Hopes, and FE5.

First & Favorite Fire Emblem games: First exposure was one of the GBA, but Awakening was the first I beat proper, I think. My favorite FE games are 4 and 6.

List your 5 favorite Fire Emblem characters across the series! Niamh, Joshua, Hugh, Idunn, Lethe? Those are the first to come to mind that I consistently like.

Who was the first character ever to make you go “ooh I like this one in particular” and why? Can be any context and reason! This would have been so long ago...I liked characters like Chad, Lugh, Ricken, etc because they were the 'small boy who might not be taken seriously' type. Which, given I was a lot younger back then, also treated younger than i was by my family, and starting to realize I don't define my gender neatly, they were important characters to sympathize with.

Any Fire Emblem crushes? 😳 All my crushes are in Tellius LMAO but like. Titania. Nailah. Powerful Women....

If you’ve played (or are familiar with) the following games, who was your first S support? Who would you S support nowadays? - Awakening: Sully; might pick someone like Miriel? - Fates: Tsubaki; idk tbh....maybe him again - Three Houses: Shamir; probably Yuri? - Engage: Yunaka; maybe Kagetsu? [THIS WHOLE THING IS REMINDING ME that im not very attached to S supporting with the protag I GUESS]

Favorite Fire Emblem class? I like the ones where you can fly. Kinshi Knight is one of my favorites for the design and unique combination of flyer and bow.

If you were a Fire Emblem character, what would be your class and stats? Would you be playable? Probably a flier or a strategist type. My luck stat is either way too good or awful, no inbetween. Probably also a furry of some variety.

If you were a Three Houses character, what would be your affiliation? I'm your generic NPC civilian.

If you were an Officers Academy student, what would be your boons, banes and potential budding talent? - Boons - Faith, Riding (me remembering I rode horses as a kid) - Banes - Axes - Budding - Flying, Bows

If you were an Engage character, which nation would you originate from? Probably Firene for being very flowery?

Do you believe you have a type of character you gravitate towards writing? I like writing characters who appear composed, put together, etc, but are actually definitely not. Their ability to empathize is either super good or they struggle dearly (but are aware of that shortcoming). the more unconventional their gender, identity, etc is, the better.

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? Honestly any character with a sizeable amount of lore. I'd just spend way too much time worrying I interpreted one of their support conversations wrong or don't do the character 'the right way'.

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I like writing situations where the characters learn a new facet about themselves, or discover a place beyond their wildest dreams.

Do you have any scenario in mind for your muse(s) that gets you thinking “man I hope I get to write this one day”? Maybe something that lets me explore Hugh's past or defines Niamh pre-meeting Cipher crew?

Favorite TOA-related memories? Candy game was fun. I also liked the teamwork and memery I had in BOEL this year.

Got any potential muse delusions to share? 😉 Sommie :) Both joking and genuinely serious. I love a small Frienb and i think it would be interesting to dive into the fact that Sommie has been around for a very long time, but realistically I'd probably only play him for a few months. Aside from Sommie, there are a couple of FE6 characters (Lugh, Raigh, Idunn) who could be fun but I like sticking to one muse per game. Constance I think about off and on but she hits my 'has too many supports' and therefore I'd worry about playing right. I still rotate the Three Hopes supports I read though. Maybe someday

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? So I had a friend in school who was a weeb and asked if I RP. And I thought he meant. You know. Nsfw. So I was like Ew no :( I am a teen that is gross. Then he explained he meant like fandom RP and how it works and then I joined him on GaiaOnline YES I'M THAT OLD THANKS AND YES I STILL USE GAIA. I started with hetalia. Yes I'd still like to die

How were you introduced to TOA? Lailah hinted at me for like 2 weeks with lines like "I joined this group and you know Gerome misses Cynthia" and I kept going "sounds fun :)" and did not realise they were hinting until they straight up asked. wow I have been here 6 months

Do you have any pets? No :( I don't have the time for them

What is your favorite time of year and why?(Season, holiday, general period) Summer despite you know. The bugs. But I can actually function in summer

What is your IRL occupation? Data entry; it's why I'm on the discord server most of my day now

Some interests and things you like/enjoy? I like cooking, baking, oh and I'm a cosplayer! I've been at it for 3 years and yes it's mostly fire emblem bar ONE (soon to be two)

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Tales of (WHERE ARE MY TALES FRIENDS AT), Persona, critically acclaimed mmorpg FFXIV, octopath, ?? I'm not sure what else? I tried playing dragon age but it crashes constantly even with the fixes

How did you get into Fire Emblem? I was told to play Awakening because I'll love it and I'll totally love all these characters. Um. I never finished it. Then Fates came out, twitter didn't shut up about that and I refused to play it. Then 3H came out. I saw Edelgard and it was joever for me. So I bought it and I've been here ever since.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? Engage, 3H, Fates (all three routes baby), Awakening, Echoes, Warriors, Sacred Stones, a little FEH until I was put off cause I summoned Easter Xander, a little FE7 and I WILL. FINISH. PATH OF RADIANCE. I SWEAR TO YOU ALL RIGHT NOW.

First & Favorite Fire Emblem games: first was technically Awakening but I didn't like it so I dropped it until 2022 I wanna say? So really my first FE was 3H. My favourite? Depends on the day.

I like intimate stuff if you're picking up what I'm putting down. But then I run away about 2 replies in so I write fanfic usually. I like kissing too. Um. I love high emotional scenes too. If I could describe my writing style, it's "My Dinner With Andre - the novel" (I've never seen the film but I get the gist)

Do you have any scenario in mind for your muse(s) that gets you thinking “man I hope I get to write this one day”? I want Ryoma to be happy. Like genuinely I want him to be in a place where he can forgive himself, maybe even forgive the nohrians. I want him to move on and have a peaceful life as a teacher. Where are you from? What is your time zone? Taiwan! GMT+8, currently 12 hours ahead of TOAST. Good news: the apocalypse hasn't hit the future yet!

How long is your roleplay experience? Probably around 10+ years at this point, unless running around as Pokemon on the playground counts, in which case more like 20 years ahaha

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? I'm reasonably certain Fire Emblem was my first foray into tumblr RP, and Emmeryn was my first muse! There was a little indie community that I joined back then, though I haven't kept in contact with them

How were you introduced to TOA? I don't really remember, but all I know is that I lurked around the masterlist around the time of L&K but didn't pluck up the courage to join until nearly a year later when I saw there was a Reyson (shoutout to birdie!)

Do you have any pets? Nope! Moved around too much as a kid and current living situation doesn't support having one. Closest I got was sharing an apartment with my roommate's floofy cat for two years in college; his name's Chester and he was super adorable. I'd like to have a dog someday though!

What is your favorite time of year and why? (Season, holiday, general period) WINTERRRR I am a human furnace and summer is suffering. Every spring I start counting down the days to the next winter ahaha

What is your IRL occupation? I work at the counseling department in a junior college!

Some interests and things you like/enjoy? Learning languages, singing, obscure fun facts and watching Youtube video essays

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Used to be a big Pokemon person but I stopped playing the mainline games by Gen VII (not for lack of interest! RL circumstances changed around that time and I just never got back into the habit of buying those games); nowadays I play a few mobile games daily but that's about it

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: Water; too many, but if I had to name just one I will probably say Rufflet

Tell us some funfacts and trivia about yourself! The first fun fact is that the moment I get asked questions like this I immediately go Brain Empty and this is why I rarely fill out toa monthly feedback forms dakfjslfj uhhhh my favorite color is blue! I joined an archery club in grad school (two years ago) to understand what shooting a bow feels like. I love swimming but haven't been to a pool for maybe like 9 years now. I really like going to zoos.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? My older brother introduced my younger brother and me to Japanese FE4 when we were kids, when we knew absolutely no Japanese and just messed around the first map and never beat it. I properly started playing when I was in high school, with FE7 being the first game I beat! I normally count my official FE gaming journey as starting with 7 in high school :'D

What Fire Emblem games have you played? All the mainline ones except 1-3 and Echoes (I'm...... working on it)

Do you believe you have a type of character you gravitate towards writing? Nice Girls (gender neutral) who have no quarrel with 99% of the world. As you may be able to see, Andrei does not fit this mold.

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? Flirts. They're so much fun to read but I don't think I could flirt my way out of a paper bag irl so I would never know what to write

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I honestly love fluffy cozy fun friendshippy situations!!! Again, Andrei is not conducive to this. I mean I do also like painful scenes but--

Do you have any scenario in mind for your muse(s) that gets you thinking “man I hope I get to write this one day”? that Yngvi AU where Brigid never disappeared because things will still go to shit but the circumstances would be so different. Honestly Brigid doesn't even need to explicitly be there for this to work so if any Gen I Jugdrals ever want to do this then I grip you

Favorite TOA-related memories? So many, but the West Faerghus Croc lives rent free in my brain forever.

Present or past tense? I started off with past tense, but now default to present. When the stars align and I notice my partner using past tense, sometimes I will also switch, but not always.

Mblglbkhkmbb dream squashing wils cheeks gently and kissing the top of his fluffy hair head. Will was feeling down so he was shuffling around the place with his head down and posture like an old walking cane, that's how Dream could reach his head

"he doesn't love me anymore!" wilbur wails in a dramatic fashion.

he buries his face in his hands, and, for a moment, all that can be heard are his muffled sobs echoing around the cavern.

"wil, not that this isn't, uh, important, but you kinda told me this was a life or death emergency involving a tyrannical government," techno says.

wilbur's head shoots up as he looks at techno as though the blood god had personally gone and murdered his entire family. which, considering techno is best friends with the brunet's dad, would never happen, but the analogy works well enough.

"you don't understand, techno! it is life or death, and it's all because of schlatt! he definitely counts as a tyrannical government for what he's done to me." a look of annoyance passes over wilbur's face, momentarily halting his sobs.

"so... you're upset... because dream had to cancel one of your cuddle sessions to talk politics with schlatt? and you've been in this ravine ever since?"

"exactly!"

techno stares unimpressed at wilbur's display, raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms. they have a brief stare off before wilbur decides he wasn't done with the theatrics and promptly bursts into tears again.

chat seems to be amused by the display, but techno, having spent years around wilbur through many stages of his life, figures it's best to just let this run its course. he occupies the time by looking around the ravine and crinkling his nose as he sees the state wilbur has been living in. the ravine is cold and damp, and the scraps of wool on the ground where wilbur has been sleeping do nothing to ease the concern building within techno.

ignoring chat cooing at his concern, techno spares one more look to wilbur, who has now begun to recite a monologue about abandonment as he leans himself against the stone walls.

"yeah, I'm gonna go get dream."

wilbur doesn't even look up when techno begins ascending the steps.

when techno showed up at the community house during what sapnap had dubbed "dream team hours," dream wasn't expecting to get pulled away to where wilbur had disappeared to. but with both sapnap and george urging him to go—

("dude you've been hanging out with us non-stop for days. go make sure he's okay." "dream stop being an idiot. you've been interrupting all of our sleep with how much you pace around at night in worry. leave before we get dragged into another almost-war.")

—combined with the hint of concern in techno's voice, it really wasn't surprising that he found himself in a ravine, watching wilbur pace around with his head drooped downward and his arms holding himself in a mockery of a hug.

"wil?" dream calls out softly, recognizing the way wilbur's fingers curl into his arms as a sign of his anxiety. "can I touch you?"

wilbur mutters out a quiet but audible yes, and dream wastes no time in closing the distance between them. he brings his hands up and softly cups wilbur's face in his palms squishing them ever so slightly and grinning when the action makes wilbur's dark eyes light up with hints of amusement. then, dream leans up and places a soft kiss atop wilbur's head, smiling softly into the fluffy hair.

"you scared me," dream says as he gently moves wilbur's head into the crook of his neck.

"I know," wilbur mumbles, wrapping his arms around dream's waist.

"you can't just run off like that without telling people."

"I know. I'm sorry."

dream sighs, tilting his head to nuzzle his face in wilbur's curls. "I'm sorry, too. I should've rescheduled with schlatt instead of backing out of an already made commitment."

"so we both fucked up," wilbur says, chuckling slightly, but dream can still feel the slight shakes caused by the brunet's anxiety.

"not the end of the world," dream reassures, and he feels some of the tension drain from wilbur's shoulders. "how about we go find a nice place to cuddle, then we can maybe make some pizza."

wilbur hums, and dream holds back a laugh as the vibrations tickle his skin. "can we go somewhere quiet?"

"anywhere you'd like, wil. anywhere you'd like."

Some funfacts & trivia about you: Okay how did I miss this my first time uhh I try to do competitive gaming in Smash and Splatoon! Also I had a very brief time of playing drums when I was younger but now I just keep the rhythm to myself.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Smash Bros, Splatoon, TWEWY, Touhou Project, and (most current delusion) Kiseki/Trails

How did you get into Fire Emblem? Older brother has exposed me to many franchises I liked, with this time being him showing me a bit of FE7 on his totally legal GBA. From there I eventually played it myself but first got to complete Awakening later on and it snowballed from there.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? All of them barring FE1, 3, 5, and Three Hopes. FE4 is also technically there but I have attempted to start it many times; oh and FE12 as well.

Any Fire Emblem crushes? I think Lyn was my first due to FE7 being my first game (very creative I know), and now currently Ayra is probably within my walls

If you were an Engage character, which Emblem would you Engage with? Sigurd would be my pure gameplay pick, but Ike would be really fun to vibe with [he's probably my favorite lord behind Alm!]

How did you find TOA? Short story: N. Longer-ish story: I started to desire trying to RP again, especially with my rekindled interest in FE thanks to Engage's reception, and then I begun hanging out with N more and he told me more about this place. Yeah, said it was only longer-ish.

Current TOA muses: Mae, Sonya

Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Mae is someone I saw (not too highly) placed on 2022-2023's Most Wanted list and I knew I wanted to do an Echoes muse to start. I don't know if they mesh with my own personality/style well, but they are definitely fun to play around with still. :>

Have you had any other TOA muses? Shamir was a short project that got smashed up due to a busy summer/nerves, but I do want to visit her again someday. Her voice and personality is very strong, but might not be for me.

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? Magic cool. Pegasus knights cool. Sword people cool! Personality-wise, I think I try to veer more toward social muses, which like I said w/ Mae doesn't really fit me in real life but...hehe.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I'm still trying to find a general vibe, but I really do like writing scenarios that deep-dive into muses' thoughts, like...not 100% angst, but still not light?

Favorite TOA-related memory: I'm still young but running in right as everyone started kissing each other and being able to join was...very good.

Got any delusions that didn’t see the light of day in TOA that you’d like to share? I somewhat shown off my more out-there delusions via tier lists (highlights being Yglr from a very brief attempt to bandwagon from FEH Book II hype before reminding myself why I hate bandwagoning) and I made my interest in Citrinne pretty public, but currently (when I am NOT getting absorbed into Alm-route side material oh god spare me please) I am desiring Anna Fire Emblem. No specification on which one, because that's part of the fun for me too :)

events such as volleyball, sand castle contests, scavenger hunts, capture the flag, and more!! 

potentially a movie night on the weekend of the event!

Helloooooooo, everybody! Here's to our first server event!  ✧

We will be running our own version of the show, The Dating Game! Event sign-ups will close on June 30th, 2021.

The game will be played as follows:

➳ Participants will fill out the questionnaire linked within the server.

➳ Interviewees and Interviewers will be paired up by the staff based purely on their Dating Profiles, with 1 Interviewer getting a selection of 3 Interviewees.

➳ Interviewers will be asked to select from the list of questions provided to play a live round of the game show in the event channels. Their selected interviewees responses will be read back to them. The interviewees' players will not have to be present to play the game, and the winning interviewee will be pinged at the end of the game.

Interviews will happen over the course of July. Apply for a character in the server to sign up!
