My fan art combines AI generated art with my traditional pen and colour pencil art in this tribute to my favourite character from the Vision of Escaflowne. Are Dilandau and Celena really so different or are they simply hidden aspects of the same person? My art poses that question.

I love finding obscure doujinshis. I mean, I got to see Robin and Boa Hancock grow dicks then fuck Law. You can't find those just anywhere. Even if I can't read them, I can still get the gist of them. So, I'm still happy. And I get more variety of pairings with Law. It doesn't matter if I can read them or not. I'M STILL ENJOYING THEM DAMNIT! Just thought I'd share what I've been doing in my free time aside from video games and writing.

I like to think I’m at least marginally funny, so I was thinking I would live tweet my reactions, thoughts and favourite moments as a little record as I descend into the warhammer rabbit hole ! this first post will be all the stuff from the past half week, which is my very first venture into warhammer

funniest moment is still blue archive ost playing over my iron warriors research. for those unaware blue archive is an anime style game where you collect adorable girls who wield military assault weaponry

that oldhammer thing about horus railing fulgrim into following chaos lives in my head rent free (thank you @/chemos-factories) because it's just an 18+ doujinshi premise. i can see the words on the dlsite page. subtitled "battle brother, what are you doing?!" and it's called some shit like "it's not like i gangbanged my brother into following a chaos god" "the elder brother-like one" or "domestic spacemarine" wait domestic girlfriend isn't actually 18+ is it

please tell me someone understands my "the elder brother like one" reference because it seems like something right up the slaaneshi alley

are the ultramarines just space versions of garen from league of legends or is my gut instinct wrong

To round off my year as Tamayula, I've only made one book of my own HL fanfiction for myself! I've been writing character x you fanfiction for almost twenty years now, but this is the first time I've made a book (Doujinshi), so I'm very excited😍

I thought about simply titling it 'Short stories about the Slytherin Boys' or something but I decided to be a bit stylish with the title because I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I quoted and paid homage to the heroine's line from my favourite novel The Dandelion Girl: 'Day before yesterday I saw a rabbit, and yesterday a deer, and today, you.' (I've always thought this line one of the most romantic lines ever since I discovered it in Portal 2 😌) The title refers to the MC's circumstances, such as meeting the owl who carries her acceptance letter, entering the Wizarding World after almost being attacked by a dragon, and meeting Sebastian (or Ominis), the man of her destiny who would later become her partner for life… 🤣

It's a book for myself, so I haven't corrected any typos and I haven't formatted it, but I'm very happy with the finished book, which I did almost everything myself, including the cover illustration and the design! (I borrowed the R-18 symbol and the white frame on the back cover from a design distributed on the web) The year 2023 has been a really meaningful year for me, in which I have been able to try many things!

Something I’ve noticed on Twitter wrt mangaka is how people will either completely deny they’re into xyz thing they obviously have a kink for because they think it taints the work (Fujimoto being a prime example of this) or completely reduce them to Epstein and Diddy jokes.

it's because people don't see irl incest and csa as forms of oppression and harm that make the world a worse place and destroy lives, but as objects of primarily moral disgust that they can joke about to distance themselves from as an "ewww, everyone look at this and groan with us" point not an actual harm to combat. alternatively, it's because they think incestuous abuse and csa only happen because someone has Weird Kinks or has written a bad fic or something, not bc the nuclear family and the legal/cultural status of minors allows young people to be easily abused and discarded with little fear of repercussions. as for the jokes about diddy and epstein, wait til people find out that most abusers don't get away with it because they're rich conspirators, but because their friends and family will cover for them and pressure victims--you don't want daddy/the pastor/cousin robbie to go to jail, do you? hell, most trafficking victims in these cases have been sold by their families. it's almost like most csa happens via people the child already knows and trusts.

when it comes to people like fujimoto they think it's impossible for an author to have a kink AND to think of the real life implications of the abuses depicted, but mysteriously everyone knows that just because kojima thinks military shit is cool as hell it doesn't do anything to diminish the anti imperialist and anti war messages in his work. and besides they love making jokes about their favourite fictional war criminals bc sexual abuse is a Real And Serious Thing That Happens as opposed to war crimes apparently which Never Happens To Anyone.

anyhow i've already complained about these kind of losers. they'll happily go after some rando trans person online for tweeting/posting a fantasy about a fictional sister and cry about how she's single handedly responsible for incestuous abuse while combing through her sexual life to have her exposed and shamed to thousands, and that apparently doesn't count as sexual harassment in any way. and then maybe they'll hear she's a csa victim and a few of them will go "oh wow i'm sowwy i didn't know she was a *victim* trying to *cope*, but nevertheless couldn't she have done so more privately? why didn't she get therapy? it's not like that art LOOKED like vent art it looked like fetish" after having told their minor followers to go gawk at her sexual life and gasp in shock with them at how much of a freak she supposedly is.

anyhow nobody owes you an explanation for their Bad Kinks. there's horny stuff i find tasteless and dislike (ask me about why i didn't bother to go past the first chapter of dandandan), as long as they are not materially harming anybody--who cares. your moral disgust and shock is not actual inflicted harm! you acting on said disgust to try to ruin lives and convince your teen followers that they are surrounded by sex pests and that sexual predators can be spotted bc of their weird kinks/tastes in fiction and nothing else is doing more harm than anything a so-called "weirdo" who enjoys momson hentai doujinshi in a corner ever will and i stand on that

...This is because I talked about tall Sirius, isn't it? 🤣 Well, I'm more of a tag scroller than anything and these are the relevant tags: dog/deer, sirije, deer/dog. The last is the tag for bottom Sirius and does fall prey to the usual modern fandom problems, though they at least make the boys the same height.

As for favourite artist it is Nipye, Nipye hands down. But she rode her Prongsfoot (and Tomarry, Jily, Drarry) fame into a legitimate career as a manhwa artist and nuked her accounts. All we have left is Naruto. I suspect a couple more artists have also ridden their Prongsfoot fame into paying careers because the dog/deer tag seems to have shrunk from 100+ works at the beginning of the year to just 80+ when I checked just now.

Maru is another artist I really like for their watercolour style drawings. They're a prolific HP fanartist in general and still actively updating. It might take a bit of digging to get to the Prongsfoot stuff (and since we're not in Japan, we're shit out of luck with their Prongsfoot anthology doujinshi). They also draw James and Sirius being super cuddly even in gen Marauders fanart and I am eternally grateful. Have Sirius and James with baby Harry as a bonus.

Pubupu11 is half the dog/deer tag at this point and I really love their Sirius. Pictures from this art log are reposted particularly often on Pinterest, though notice those cowards never repost the ones where Sirius is kissing James hard. There is no end to the good stuff with pub. Sadly their last post was on James' birthday this year.

Nodafuji does fancomics and has less work up. Nothing Can Start Now works even if you can't read Japanese (and the look of devastation on Sirius' face is haunting). This alpha!James/alpha!Sirius fancomic is also good if you don't mind running it through google translate.

Mon does mainly deer/dog, so the uke-ification is there but I find it bearable. These two pieces of art live in my head rent-free for starters. Here is Sirius laying down James' wand at his grave. This is for the bottom!Sirius Fest, where there's a wordless bit in the middle where Padfoot transform into Sirius before jumping into James' arms that really gets me every time.

Let's start off easy: how did you become a fan of the Inuyasha fandom?

I was watching InuYasha AMVs in middle school (shout out Bad Boy by Cascada) and stumbled upon a link to a fic on FF.Net.   

Art or Fanfic: which work of yours are you most proud of?

While I do both, I am most proud of my fanfic writing. I feel like I’ve grown a lot as a writer with the love and support of the Crescent Dreams community. As for something I’m most proud of, I’d say For the Dancing and the Dreaming. That was my first long-form fic ever and I still love it to this day. 

Is there anything you don't like to draw?

Landscapes and backgrounds. No thx. 

What are your favourite fanfic tropes to write?

He falls first, fake dating, ballet/ice skater AU, idiots in love.

You're in a creative mood: how do you decide whether to write or to draw?

It’s a gamble on which mood I’m in xD If I can’t draw it I’ll write it and vice versa.

Where do you find inspiration?

My biggest inspirations come from my fellow creators, songs, and movies that I’m watching. 

If you could spend one day in the feudal era, what would you do?

Chill in a hot spring and gossip with the girlies. 

Describe your dream project.

My fic Pure, Beautiful, Wicked was initially a doujinshi idea. I hope one day that I can make that happen.

If you could get the power/skill of one Inuyasha character, what would you choose?

Hmmm, I’d have to say Kagura’s wind manipulation and fan skills. Badass and versatile!

I went to a hunter x hunter fan event in Tokyo today!!

It was so cool, I was so nervous and too shy to ask any cosplayers for photos but oh my god there were so many cosplayers! Especially of Killua and Alluka which made me so happy 😭

I didn’t want to take too many photos inside so here’s a few things I took photos of lol including my little merch haul! I got some badges, stickers and ofc some doujinshi!! But the totebag is my favourite!

Also thought my outfit was a little slay so I’m posting that too. I kinda tried to be on theme by wearing green and ofc I had to wear a beret hehe
