No, it’s finally fall. It’s candy corn pumpkins and granny daddies farm. It’s inktober, kinktober, monstober, and all of its various forms. It’s Halloween. It’s jacket season. It’s spooky month. It’s apple pie. It’s random skeletons littering the grocery shelves. It is costumes, and haunted houses. It’s football games. It’s hay rides. It’s Fritos pies. It’s crunchy leaves. It’s scary movies. It’s tradition to be weird. To do outlandish things. To live.

It’s my favorite month.

It’s perfect.

April has always been my favorite month

About rain showers and flower blooms

I even said if I got married

I'd pick the rainiest day of the year

Which would likely be in April

But ever since our falling out

Now my favorite month

Just reminds me of what I've lost

April fills me with regret

Of what I could have done

Could have said

I could've done better
