nicholas couldn't help but shake his head, a light smile growing on his face as his girlfriend pretended to kiss her camera lens.

"hi my loves," she started, sitting back down on her couch, "today im filming with my boyfriend nicholas."

nicholas shyly waved at the camera, his face graced with a grin. "i'm nick."

the girl sitting next to him smiled herself, bringing her hand up to softly rub the bottom of his chin. "and i'm letting him do my makeup."

he pretended to make a nervous face as he looked down at his girlfriend's coffee table. she had laid out every brush and every product that she owned (which was a lot) and it was kind of intimidating. the girl let out a small giggle, her brows furrowing slightly. "what?"

"you just got a lot of stuff goin' on here beba," he chuckled, picking up one of her beauty blenders and tossing it up in the air.

she caught it in her own hands before placing it back down on the table. "had to give you options," she turned to look at him with a dimply smile, "couldn't make it too easy for you."

nicholas rolled his eyes before reaching over to grab one of her black cloth headbands.

"you be wearing these in the morning," he chuckled, shifting his body to sit facing her. the girl nodded her head, allowing him to push her hair back with the headband, the tiniest baby hairs poking out onto her forehead. he'd watched her get ready one too many times, almost knowing her little routine by heart. he covered her face in her facial moisturizer and serum, then coated her lips with the medicated lip balm she used every morning and night.

he pulled his face back to look at her. her skin was so glassy and her plush lips were glossy. leaning forward he muttered, "pretty girl," before planting a soft baby kiss on her lips, not wanting to mess up any product.

rubbing her lips together as he pulled away, the girl looked up at him. "so what're you gonna do next?" she asked softly.

nicholas blew a puff of air out from his lips, looking at the products laid out on the table as he thought for a second.

"normally you use this one," he said, picking up a half empty bottle of estée lauder foundation. "right?" his girlfriend stood silent, knowing she wasn't supposed to give him any inclinations. instead, she just shrugged her shoulders slightly, making nicholas roll his eyes once again.

he leaned down to pick up a brush, one that was not for foundation at all. his girl cringed as he dumped the product onto her fluffiest powder brush, and he stopped abruptly. "whaattt?"

she scrunched her face up, "i can't say anythinggg."

nick chuckled boyishly, sighing while swiping the brush down her soft cheeks and across her nose, "you're killing me."

he continued onto a messy attempt at contouring before moving on to pick up her bronzer.

"you always say this is your favorite part so i gotta do it justice," he half smirked, scooting up to get closer to his girlfriend. almost comically, he brushed on the bronzer onto her forehead and cheeks with a slow, feather-like pressure.

"you don't gotta be careful baby," the girl said, "it's not gonna show if you barely press down."

"just don't wanna hurt you," he muttered jokingly, finishing up his application.

he poked her nose with a blush brush, leaving the tip of it a light shade of baby pink, and proceeded to spread blush across the apples of her cheeks. he thought she looked cute like that.

"pick one," he told her in a gentle tone, a small smile creeping onto his face. he motioned his head toward her collection of lip glosses, lip sticks, lip liners, and lip oils. reaching down, she grabbed hold of a soft pink lip gloss that was coconut scented.

"you like this one," she handed the gloss over to him.

nicholas gently grabbed hold of her chin, holding her steady as he applied it onto her. his gaze lingered low as his eyes focused on her lips. how plump her bottom lip pouted out. how soft they looked. how pretty they looked now that they were all shiny.

noticing this, she puckered her lips out a little, silently asking him for a kiss.

he obliged of course, planting a baby kiss onto her lips to not mess up her makeup.

"i did good?" he asked her in a quiet tone, again gripping her face softly. he guided her face with his hand, moving it around to look at it from all different types of angles to mess with her.

she nodded, a small laugh leaving her mouth. "yeah, i love it."

reviewing my lip products 🪽

since the year is coming to an end, i wanted to review all of my lippies that i’ve used this year, and evaluate if i’ll repurchase some of them next year, or if i’ll leave some of these behind in 2024 ৻ꪆ

nyx fat oil lip drip

definitely one of my favourite products of the year! it has a very nice formula and moisturises my lips very nicely! i recommended this to many people already/gifted this lip oil, and everyone only has good things to say about it. i also really like the applicator, because it just feels very satisfying to me. 🌝 you do have to reapply this every few hours, but it’s still a very good lip oil imo, and it also gets bonus points for the affordable price. 9.5/10

essence extreme shine volume lipgloss

it’s a pretty good lipgloss. for me personally, this is what got me into makeup, so i would definitely recommend this if you’re just starting out! it’s also very affordable and the shades are pretty too. but, it’s really sticky. 😭 one blow of the wind and that lipgloss will be holding your hair strands hostage. 7/10

nyx slick click

imo it's a pretty solid glossy lip balm. the packaging is very compact, but since the packaging has a click-pen design, it gets really difficult to get some of the lip balm out, when the tube is almost empty. other than that, it's pretty good. it moisturises your lips well, and since this product is a lip balm, it's not too sticky either. it lasts for a few hours, but if you eat/drink anything, you'd definitely have to reapply it. but since the package only contains 2g, and costs 10 euros i probably wouldn't repurchase this. 5.8/10.

maybelline color sensational lipstick

i think this is a good everyday lipstick! it has a pretty lightweight and creamy formula, which i really liked, and it stays on for about four hours. the lipstick has a good amount of pigment, and all around, it's pretty solid. if this ran out, i'd probably repurchase it, since it's a nice staple to have in my makeup bag. 💖 6.8/10.

kiko velvet passion matte lipstick

this lipstick is a little similar to the previous one, since they both have lightweight formulas. but, while the maybelline one has a little bit of a glossy effect, this one is completely matte. as for the formula/texture, i really liked the texture of this lipstick! it feels very soft and velvety, and it's really satisfying to apply it imo. my only issue with this lipstick is that it really emphasized the texture of my lips by the four hour mark, and sometimes it also dried my lips out a little. other than that, it's nice, and i think i'd repurchase it! 7/10

essence what a tint!

it's a pretty good tint. i saw a couple of people saying about how it was better than benetint, but i can't really give you my opinion on that, since i'm too broke for benetint! 💖 as for the color, it was wayyy to pink for me. 😭 like it was HOT pink. neon marker pink. idk, i think that color def suits some people, but it most definitely is NOT my color!! but on a positive note, it is strong. it will not move once you put it on. i put a little bit of it on my hand to test it out again, and it didn't move AT ALL for around three to four days. in conclusion, it's a good product, just not for me! 5/10.

nyx butter gloss

I LITERALLY LVOE THIS PRODUCT SO MCUH!!!!!!!!!!! it is truly one of my favorite lip glosses of all time and i do NOT care that i bought it not too long ago. the shades are really pretty, and there's a large variety of shades too (32 to be exact). also, the texture is very good, imo. the lip gloss just feels so smooth, and it isn't really sticky either, unlike some other glosses. i also really liked the fragrance, which is surprising, since i usually don't like how lip glosses smell. the only cons i can think of is that it needs to be reapplied often, especially after eating. other than that, the nyx butter gloss is literally so amazing, especially for the affordable price. i would literally buy a bazillion of these if i could. 10/10.

She loves kissing her lips painted with lipstick, especially if it's a dark color like red, wine, pink or brown. She doesn't care if she makes a mess on both of your faces, she will simply pull you in for a kiss, holding the back of your neck gently to keep it in place and tilting your head to deepen things; a kiss will go away turning into two, three, four and many others until she finally slowly walks away just to admire the work of art that is her completely silly and distraught, her cheeks flushed and her lipstick smudged, this sight bringing butterflies (pyterodactlos) to her stomach.

She would do anything to convince you to do all the possible Tik Tok trends with her that involve kisses and lipstick together, not that she really needs much effort to convince you, you'd probably be up for anything this girl suggested. That being said, you would do all the trends, all of them, I think her favorite would be the one where you mark your entire face from your kissing partner…but the two of you would probably get carried away with it, which would result in Gwen COMPLETELY marked with lipstick, from head to toe 😭😭 it takes you so long to wipe off all the lipstick afterwards and she probably still her skin was a bit reddish (George had so many questions for this girl)

SPACE CAMP REVIEW!!

(honest, in-depth)

Shipping took about a week and a half but it arrived in perfect condition and undamaged

-packaging is super cute! not super complicated/over the top, but also not overly simple. my order came with a valentines day postcard and a silver "space camp" logo sticker.

-right off the bat, i can tell these are definitely bigger than any other lip balm i have ever used. they also have a higher quality feel to them.

-i think the "pocket safe" turn wheel is super unique, not something i've ever heard of before! it definitely does help protect the lip balm from damage when not in use.

-the jumbo size tubes allow for more surface area coverage when applying to the lips, making application quicker and easier

-all lip balms apply super smoothly, and feel soft and moisturizing on the lips. there is no "waxy" feeling left behind on the lips as with other brands.

Wild Cherry

-smells exactly like a cherry lollipop i would have eaten when i was younger. its not sickly sweet or overpowering, but you can definitely tell what it is.

-the cherry taste is very mild. i can almost taste the beeswax/sunflower oil a bit more than the cherry, but by no means is the taste bad!

-other cherry flavored lip balms (chapstick, burts bees) tend to make me feel a little nauseous for some reason? but this flavoring did not give me that effect.

-overall really good, but i would've liked to be able to taste a little more of the cherry flavoring!

Frosted Mint

-smells exactly like mint ice cream, just as advertised. im not always a big mint person, especially if it is a stronger scent. this scent, however, is just enough without becoming overwhelming.

-the taste is also exactly like what mint ice cream tastes like. i really enjoyed this flavor, its not one that i see super often as a lip balm flavor so it was very interesting to try!

-it leaves a slight cooling feeling as well as a mild tingle on the lips, which is not my favorite. its nothing like if you were to use a lip plumping gloss or anything like that, but i know a lot of people could dislike this, especially if you tend to be sensitive to certain sensations.

-i think this is a really great flavor! i was happy to discover that it does really taste and smell exactly as it was promoted. once again, i would not recommend this flavor if you are sensitive to cool or tingly feelings on your lips.

Juicy Watermelon

-i am not exaggerating when i say that this smells HEAVENLY. i had a feeling going into this that it was going to be my favorite flavor, and it did not disappoint. if i could hold it under my nose and smell it all day, i would. its the perfect amount of sweetness, almost like candy. i wish i had better words to describe it, i feel like my explanation wouldn't give it justice.

-if you can imagine biting into the most perfect, red, juicy, sweet slice of watermelon, that's how this flavor tastes. i have tried other watermelon flavored lip balms in the past, and this one is by far my favorite.

-i honestly have no complaints about this flavor. literal perfection

Do I recommend?

currently, they are only available to purchase all three as the Launch Pack, set at $36 + shipping (USD). my shipping was only $6, which is significantly lower than some of the other shipping costs i have seen. so in total, i paid $42 for the three lip balms (about $12 per tube).

taking into account that they are USDA organic and significantly larger than most retail lip balms, i do still feel like the price is a little steep. if there was an option to purchase individually, i feel like this would help that issue. to be fair, Nick did say this option will be available in the future.

if you are willing to pay for it, i would say its worth it. the quality of the lip balms definitely reflects the price, so its not like you are paying for low quality product. however, if you are somebody who does not want to pay at least $36, or if you already know you wouldn't enjoy one or more of the flavors, you are better off passing on this, or waiting for a future launch with different flavors and the ability to purchase individually.

i am personally very happy with my purchase, and i don't regret it at all. there are obviously things that can be improved on, but you have to take into account that this is a new brand that is still working out the kinks.

im super proud of Nick, and im excited to see what the future holds for Space Camp Wellness!

i have never done my make up before and i actually dont know how. Do you have any advice on how to start ? ( your recent fic with hotch watching bimbo!reader caused me to ask this )

i love this !!!! honestly makeup can totally seem overwhelming at first but it’s all about starting small and just having fun with it !! id recommend starting with like the 3 basics — a little tinted moisturizer or concealer, some mascara (or blush, i feel like this depends on u, some people hate the feeling of mascara on), and maybe a tinted lip balm or gloss. it doesn’t have to be crazy right away !

some of my personal recs:

tinted moisturizer: i use laura mercier oil free tinted moisturizer it’s my holy grail (but it also offers more coverage than most). also maybelline’s bb cream is really good if ur wanting more lightweight feel

concealer: i personally like both the nars radiant creamy concealer and once again maybelline’s FIT me

mascara: clinique’s high impact waterproof (super good in terms of durability) or essence lash princess (literally one 5 dollars and it makes ur lashes look unreal)

blush (personally favorite part of makeup): depends on what ur going for, i usually use liquid blush and powder to set. for liquid i use rare beauty’s (only need a little teeny dot). i also know milani’s cheek kiss is works well. for powder i use anastasia’s blush trio and milani’s powder blush

also all of elf products are really good so u can’t go wrong there !!

i’d also recommend watching a couple youtube tutorials if u want, there’s no shame in learning at your own pace ! (oh and also i would practice when ur not rushing to go any where so there’s no pressure and u have more room to experiment) ur going to look beautiful either way!!!!!

I'm a libra!

As for lips, mine were cracked and really dry and for quite a while I had to use doctor dan or whatever intensive lip balm just so I could open my mouth without my lips hurting, but it worked like a dream and now I only get occasional dryness and dead skin. For that I use St. Ive's juicy watermelon scrub and gently rub it until it's smooth. Again. Only when needed. Smith's strawberry lip balm for everyday use and usually I don't have any makeup when I go out, but I apply it throughout the day.

When wearing makeup, then usually I use a clear gloss or oil on them, my favorite is nk makeup pure lip oil which I got at burlington. When I want to use color I prefer a gloss over a regular lipstick because those dry me out and usually are too matte for my face. Urban Decay is my favorite brand, so I have a ton of their vice lip bond, and raw footage is my favorite because of how dramatic it is.

For eyeshadow I use a white base to make it show brighter, haus labs hy-power tint in white which is made for eyes, lips and cheeks, though I've yet to use it on either of those but will try and tell you guys what it's like. There's several palettes that I use, mostly cheaper ones, including a cheap one from target that has a hundred colors for blending and regular use. Bebe Celestial brights for special occasions, it has a lot of pretty colors and sometimes I sneak it in for regular stuff

easily the best set of headphones that i've ever owned and i'll only use them from now on. the noise canceling actually works just well enough to block out the overstimulating noise around me while still letting me hear enough to be aware of my surroundings. i use them wired for listening to music and wireless for when i only need the noise canceling but no music. also decorated mine with pokémon and yu yu hakusho stickers cuz the plain white was too boring for me.

i love the consistency of this lotion which says a lot cuz i'm sensitive abt textures and wetness. i don't even use lotion on my body cuz i hate it so much (i like to use baby oil instead). this was a game changer cuz i work with children and have to wash my hands a million times a day to avoid the plague. so now i can do that without being ashy from dryness.

my bedside lip balm and absolute favorite balm. every application is a 10/10 experience and it's so good at blending with gloss.
