As we approach the end of our beloved show, I thought it would be fun to do a little reminiscing! The end of the show certainly doesn't mean the end of the fandom, but it does move us into somewhat of a new phase. Before we get there, let's reflect on some of our favorite memories!

Describe one or two or three or more (it's up to you!) of your favorite fandom memories! It can be something really general and fandom-wide, like liveblogging a particularly good episode or the mass freakout after a really good still/clip/piece of BTS dropped. It can be something related to fanworks you or others have created--your favorite fic that changed the way you looked at the show, a piece of art you posted that got a really good response, or participating in a fic exchange. It can be something more personal, like fandom friendships you've formed or even a really good post you made that you're particularly proud of. ANYTHING GOES!

This is open to EVERYONE who considers themselves even remotely part of the fandom--whether you've been here for 5 years or 5 minutes! I have had the best time being part of this fandom so far. Whatever I expected when I first rocked up in September 2022, it wasn't this. What a time we have had. We've been through so much. We've laughed, we've cried, we've swooned, we all became experts on baseball, TV ratings, various laws, and probably know a map of Austin better than we know a map of our own hometowns. I hope with everything I have that this place continues to thrive with love for Tarlos and 911 Lone Star. I hope that I've made some friends for life. I hope that this time during the show's run will be remembered fondly. We got unlucky with this cancellation, but oh my goodness, in other ways we have been so lucky.

The time @thisbuildinghasfeelings wanted to know what hospital Carlos would have been taken to after Bridges shot him. I was CRYING LAUGHING because she went to the Texas sub-reddit and was all “Hypothetically, if someone were to get shot in the desert…” and left this message, which quickly got deleted by the mods who probably thought she’d just shot someone:

The time I met @heartstringsduet irl in London last year and wore the below t-shirt, which I got at the 2023 Paris Convention with @cold-blooded-jelly-doughnut by my side 😭. And just being able to talk to them in person about life and the show and hug them!!!! And speaking of the 2023 Paris Convention – I got to to look right into the ultimate cow-eyes and tell this guy that he played my favourite character of all time:

The time I got my ass handed to me by @lemonlyman-dotcom because I used the word vest instead of tank top in a WIP.

The fics I wrote that came out of conversations with others/prompts – they wouldn’t exist without some of you. It makes the writing life feel a lot less solitary and also a lot more about the world's most fun mystery box. Thank you so much

Reading fic so good I've spent the next day at work daydreaming about it and looking forward to the next chapters of chaptered fics – and then getting to tell people how much I enjoyed their work! It’s amazing. YOU ARE ALL SO TALENTED.

Posting Sensitivity, my first fic, and refreshing the page to see that I had 8 kudos. I was blown away. And the comments and responses to other fics that have made all the difference during many tough weeks. Thank you, thank you.

The time I thought @ladytessa74 invented Frog and Toad for chapter 3 of The Lovely April. Also...chapter 3 of The Lovely April genuinely helped me cope with the show's cancellation. So that was a biggie.

1. beginning to become active on tumblr and how it’s been soooo much fun as of late!!

2. this might not be considered a fandom memory haha, but it was so special to me how back in late 2021 this show and simply just tarlos consumed my life. it was all i would edit, read, draw, and watch. my show and my boys forever 💗💗

3. posting fanfiction!!! i’ve been writing/posting fanfiction for so long but never have i felt so connected to a show and a fanbase until now!! this recent fic i wrote is so special to me, and it’s one that i truly am proud of. all of your kind words and all of your love has made the experience even grander!!!

Oh, where to begin?!? I am still in denial that it's coming to an end this Monday 🥲I haven't been thinking about it too much which is also why it took me a bit to write this and think of which fandom memories for me I wanted to highlight. I hope we'll all be there for each other if someone needs a little extra comfort in the days, weeks, months that follow! 💜

All the fanfiction, fanart, gifs, edits, etc. and the friends and good acquaintances made through them!

I will always be grateful to Tarlos and Lone Star because they got me to start regularly reading fics again! I used to have a 2 hour commute into NYC and I would read fanfic while sitting on the trains but doing that for 2 years unfortunately burned me out on fanfic and my previous obsession. From 2020 to late 2022, I didn't read much fic. It wasn't until I found Lone Star through FB clips and TK's iconic, "Sure ma'am but just so you know I am a homosexual", that I had found something new to obsess over and love to this degree! Tarlos and LS also brought me back to Tumblr and into fandom in the first place! After I binge watched the show up to season 3, I needed more Tarlos and so I looked through ao3 and started with tarlos fics by @rmd-writes! I saw Rae was on Tumblr and remembered that was where I used to always find fic writers to follow! So I made a new account specifically for the fandom, hello here for Tarlos 😂, and truly engaged in a fandom for the first time! I got to watch all of Season 4 live which was great, and loved seeing people's live reactions to everything on here and loved the codas, art and gif sets people made so quickly after the episode had aired!

And then of course I made fandom and lifelong friends! I started engaging in fandom by leaving unhinged and excitable tags on people's fics and works 😅, as I tend to do, and slowly started becoming mutuals with people! And then @heartstringsduet really opened me up by dming and thanking me for my tags on a fic of hers, and the rest is history 🥹. Michelle really helped me to feel open and comfortable on here and I decided to share my name with people and now I have friends that I know I'll keep in contact with despite the show ending! Some of the most kind, creative, talented, accepting and welcoming people are in this fandom and I am beyond grateful to Lone Star for introducing us! ❤️

The lead up to the Tarlos wedding!

Gahhhh, all the bts we got, and the press tour Ronen and Rafael went on and that Hello! photo shoot, pretty sure my heart stopped when we got those pictures, not to mention the 2 episode Season 4 finale! Now that was a time to be alive! It was treated like such a real wedding and there was so much amazing promotion and was definitely wedding of the year for me!

Discovering I was pansexual and being more open with my sexuality IRL!

I always knew I was queer back in college, although parts of high school definitely make more sense when I stopped to think about them 😂. But because I was in a straight presenting relationship, I never thought to be more open with my queerness? Sure I had those few friends that knew and that I could feel comfortable with, and I had 1 good fellow queer friend at the time to confide in, but I guess I was still learning things about myself and how much of me I wanted people to know? Anyways, Brian Michael Smith and Ronen's coming out story helped me to identify myself and encouraged me to be my authentic self with people! I got my first pride flag because of Lone Star, that I will continue to display outside my house to show that this is a safe place for people that need that, and have met so many diverse and other LGBTQ+ individuals because of it! And also because of that, a good irl friend of mine came out as trans to me first because she felt safe with me! So yeah, a lot of good things to thank a show like 911 Lone Star for 💗.

Finally, becoming a beta reader!

I have been so lucky and have the most fun having been a beta reader for many talented writers in this fandom! Getting to see and help people with their works before they're published, seeing lines and dialogue that I suggested go into the final fic! Without a doubt one of the best things this fandom has given me, along with the many friendships that started because of it! 💖

9-1-1: Lone Star - Favorite Fandom Moments

I haven't been part of the fandom for long; I joined somewhere at the end of October 2024, and I still consider myself new. Sometimes, I feel a little like an outsider, which has nothing to do with you all. You have been wonderful and supportive, truly!

Discovering Tarlos and Fanfiction

While I joined in October, I actually discovered 911LS in April 2024 when I, feeling bored, decided to type 'gay' into my Disney+ search. I wish I could say I saw a clip somewhere that made me look into 911LS, but nope, it was just me typing 'gay.' Who would have thought that I would fall in love with Tarlos and the whole bunch? Not me! I have never felt this way about any movie, TV show, or book—never. I binged the first four seasons and then rewatched them all right after finishing. Around July, I started wanting more. Now, I knew fanfiction existed; I just never got into it and never had the drive to read fan-created content until I came across a post on Reddit about Tarlos fanfictions. Missing Moments by @paperstorm was right there, and thus my Ao3 journey began.

Writing My Own Fics and Joining Tumblr

After reading various works, I started wanting to share my own. I had never written anything more than a couple of pages of random scenes, but I had this very clear idea in my mind for a Tarlos fic, so I just tried writing it. English is not my native language, and it was my first time writing a story in English, so my anxiety was through the roof when I decided to post the first chapter of Weep Not for Me. I kept telling myself that it was okay if people didn't like it, but then people did like it! I was elated at how welcoming the fandom is, and while Ao3 was great, joining Tumblr was the icing on the cake.

Now, she doesn't know this (I think), but the main reason this account even exists is @nisbanisba. I recognized her from Ao3, formally made an actual account, and followed her on here. Thanks to her, I got to connect with so many people! I'm always amazed by how different this corner of the internet is from my past experiences—how nice people are, even to newcomers and strangers like me.

Watching Season 5 Live

It's such a great experience to read everyone's thoughts about an episode as it airs for the first time! The reactions to scenes, the comments that add depth or make me notice things I otherwise wouldn't have, the theories, and, most of all, the giggles over shared moments like Owen heroically galloping on Thunder or TK's birthday party—so many moments that I would have otherwise experienced alone, in my own bubble, but instead I enjoyed in the dead of night at 2 AM with so many of you. Special thanks to @tellmegoodbye and @ironheartwriter for the Discord server that allows me to catch these last episodes (the link I used to use stopped working, but they saved me). While it's too soon for the show to end, I'm glad I got to enjoy this last season of a show that means so much to me with everyone here.

The show may be ending, but the characters will always remain, and I hope that most (if not all) of you will continue to share this love for 911LS—whether through gifs, fics, art, music, or anything else. I know I will.

community and friends

i was really hesitant to join this fandom, coming off a bad experience in the previous fandom i was in, but in the lead up to s4, i decided to go for it. i've never been more grateful for a decision, to have spent the past couple of years meeting so many wonderful people and enjoying this show with you all. it was such a pleasant surprise to be welcomed in with so much support. the kindness and warmth from you all has been nothing like i've ever experienced in another fandom, and i'm so grateful.

writing

the first fic i ever posted in this fandom was a coda, a little something i wrote when i was feeling inspired after watching an ep, and i remember being so shocked at how much support it received. so much kindness from people that were total strangers to me, so much love. i think i knew at that point that i'd found something special here. this fandom has inspired me, writing-wise, in ways i could not have imagined when i first joined, and it's been such an incredible feeling to reconnect with my creativity again. so i just wanted to say if you've ever reblogged one of my snippets or commented or left kudos or even taken the time to read one of my fics, thank you so much. you mean the world to me

echoing everyone who's already said this, but this fandom is so, so talented. i'm never able to keep up with my list of fics to read, and the art and gifs, just.... the way this community has been able to take this special show and make it even more special through all these things we've created out of it is so beautiful. i'm so glad we'll continue to have that

live blogging and clowning

live blogging s4-5 has been some of the most fun i've had in the fandom. it's been so good to react in real time with all of you, to share thoughts and theories and analysis. one of my favorite things in the world is Getting Too Deep About Characters, and i've been so happy to find other people who share in that. special shoutouts to the night of 4x16 (the collective breakdown we all had after the soulmates scene, wondering how we'd survive the wedding), all of the wedding bts, the wedding promo, the night 5x01 aired and we had our weewoo show back after over a year...it's been so much fun and i am so looking forward to continuing to spiral as we analyze the show through rewatches

will be a bittersweet night for sure, but i am so excited to liveblog one last episode and have a good time with you all <3

Favorite Fandom Memories

Thank you @thisbuildinghasfeelings for creating this game and tagging me! I may have been quietly apart of the fandom since between seasons 2 and 3 but its only just recently that I really started interacting with you guys. I think that’s part of why it hurts so much now that the show is ending.

Anyways no sadness, happy memories!

The season 5 countdown was really what got me to start posting and interacting. I have a lot of anxiety over sharing my works and my thoughts on the show which is really kind of ridiculous because everyone here is so kind! The response to my character moodboards was so sweet and motivating and even with the show coming to an end I want to keep making fun little things for this show and these characters that we adore so much.

Whenever the cast and crew would go back to filming for a new season and start posting bts photos, it was followed by this rush of joy and excitement across the fandom and I love that! It’s like Christmas morning or the first day of school (only better!) Immediately there are wish lists and theories and we start questioning how much more messed up the time line can possible get! Its perfect and it kills me that we won’t have that again.

Season 3 has a special place in my heart because I really became attached to the show and all its characters when I was watching it live.

I love watching people live blog! Watching people react to the same thing I’m reacting to at the same time I’m reacting to it is such a great shared experience. I don’t know if I could pick a favorite episode that I watched live but certainly the wedding and the season 4 and 5 premieres and the uncontained excitement around them were unforgettable.

The way the days after an episode airs are filled with the most amazing art and fics and edits and crafts! How can everyone be so talented!!! ��

Also I have to call out @annoyingcloudearthquake for being such a wonderful cheerleader for the couple of fics i've written! The fact that there is someone else out their who loves both nanteo and pokemon as much as I do is crazy to me! Thank you for letting me share my pokemon headcannons with you!

I've been so emotional all week over the show ending I haven't been able to read most of the favorite memory posts! I'm going to try to take on that task now since I'll no doubt be crying by the end of the night anyways!

i've been having a hard-ish time writing something here, to write without being so ... i suppose maudlin about everything. i'm pretty bummed out that the show is coming to an end, as i've come to find many of the 126 friends and family in my mind.

i started watching the show at the recommendation of a friend in 2023 - which means, i got to binge through seasons 1 through 4 at a RAPID pace. and then again. and again. i then started looking more for the community and saw that there was some amazing fanfics and an active tumblr community to come see, so i hopped in a little. that's a solid year and a half or so of being around here.

i'm not a very "glass half full" kind of person, nor am i the most sociable or someone who puts herself out there. i don't have a lot of big "connections" or "memories" associated with this fandom other than what i've just mentioned, and hell, i don't even feel like i contribute much if anything, but i do have this:

really, truly, one of the best things about the 911 LS fandom and what i hold near and dear is just you and letting me be around to experience this journey with you.

you, who is reading this, and who has put your own soul into various fandom works like fanfic, art, cross-stitch, video edits (and more!!!), and thoughts and opinions.

you, who happened to write a fic or two that i've probably read and commented on - especially if it's tarlos-related.

you, whose art has come up here on tumblr, on twitter, on ao3, anywhere really that i've adored and smiled about.

you, who like me, may have had a hard time at some point and found such joy and comfort in this show, despite its ups and downs and decisions.

you, who truly has made this a wonderful and passionate little space in the world when it's been going through a rough time almost the entirety of the show's run. a place where i will find myself happily scrolling through and smiling about when i need a reprieve from the real world.

you, who no matter what, has a friend here - in me. to bond with not only over this show but anything we could possibly share in common. and for that, i thank you for making me feel a little more seen and felt and heard.

thank you for this world on the internet and these characters you've helped bring to life and the love and joy you bring. without that, this show wouldn't be half as fun and great and important to me as it's become.

Finding the show on accident and realizing how special the show was- I remember I found it randomly on Hulu three years ago around this time and was like - I like Rob Lowe in stuff why not- and then by the time the title card appeared I was like WHAT IS THIS SHOW??? I can't think of a show that's had a better pilot in the 2020's, and I already am planning to go back and rewatch the pilot again after the finale

Getting to watch the show live- I respect everyone who is being a trooper about this season, so I won't go there- but there was truly nothing better than getting to watch season four live. That season of LS truly ate and left NO crumbs - I remember standing an inch from my TV during the Carlos kidnapped episode (also saying to myself halfway through; wait-is Trudy General Beckman from Chuck?? Yes, in fact she was. Anyway) Which I did the same for the finale- standing up in shock, barely moving - also - the rest of season four just had this big sense of fun I've missed in this current season - the hang seshes, the parents scheming, the puzzles, getting to see TK and Carlos to go to their respective parents about their issues and talk out their issues with each other; nothing tops that. That season, really and truly just... so well fed.

Finding friends to talk about things with; I love the friends I've made on here so much, and I have been lucky enough that I have been messaged with hey I thought we should talk - and I have also sent that message of okay I want to talk to you but I'm worried I'm bothering you please don't hate me!! And finding someone to message with are you seeing this?? And have that freak out session- that is usually the best part of my day.

Reading people's work - I cannot get over how talented this fandom is as a whole. Like the things people are able to write or draw- I am never not in awe that someone can sit down and that is what comes out. And season five left in the hands of any writer on here would have fared so much better and I truly mean that.

Writing (insert the Willem Defoe meme here, I'm something of a writer myself). And not to get too personal on main, but I hadn't written a thing of any length in thirteen years before I started watching this show. But I loved the characters they created so much and it made me feel like I could still write. Which, I'm trying not to say it gave me a reason to actually want to be alive, but.... 🫣🤐♥️♥️♥️♥️ I'm so not ready for this show to end. 1) realising that there was a fandom

i watched the first season back in 2020 and enjoyed the show a lot but it was not until the trailer for season 2 dropped that i realised that there was an active fandom and i started writing fics and now i have written +60 fics! i especially enjoyed angst week back in 2021 i think with writing!

2) all the friends 💕

i did not sleep at all that night because i was just buzzing and writing and screaming with friends, but i think also collectively finding out that they broke up was A Moment back in 3x01

4) discord chats

i have become friends with so many through discord on this fandom and some of the servers are already gone but i love the memories from screaming and explaining theories!! (if anyone wants to adopt me to a server, i'm only a message away)

4) meeting some of the cast in paris in 2022 and 2023

i was so lucky and privileged to go to two cons and have fun with friends (at and outside of the cons) and meet ronen, rafa, sierra and natacha 💕 each of those interactions have changed my brain chemistry for good and i hold rafa and sierra's words especially close to my heart still to this day 💕

unequivocally the best and most fun part of this fandom - no matter what else was going on, there was always a group of absolutely hilarious, insightful people laughing and crying and yelling and enjoying the hell out of this dumbass weewoo show. the version of the show that gets filtered through analysis and gifsets and art and fic is different, and will be both created and experienced differently by every fan, and that's beautiful too. but the uncensored version of the show we all got to experience together, live, while metaphorically clutching each other's hands, will always be my favorite

#god i love winning and being right all the time

not really a brag (not that it really could be a brag to correctly predict the basic storytelling of a network procedural lol) so much as a celebration of the fact that as a viewer i always felt like my understanding of these characters and my investment in the stories the writers were telling was rewarded. to find deeply compelling, imperfect characters, who constantly grew and changed without ever becoming unrecognizable, hidden inside the rob lowe lava bomb show was a constant surprise and delight

SEASON THREE

it was A Perfect Season of Television from beginning to end, and getting to ride that rollercoaster with so many delightfully demented people was the most fun i've ever had in fandom. rereading the notes on the post i made right after 3x07 'apologizing' for posting about tk getting railed still makes me laugh because we were all in such a state of hysteria 😂 and i will never forget #ring watch and the day the engagement still dropped causing a total fandom meltdown. PEAK SHENANIGANS!

and of course the cast, crew, writers, directors, producers - i'm so grateful for the contributions of every single one of the literal thousands of people who had a hand in bringing these vital characters and these vital stories into the lives of millions of people for five years. i can't wait to see what they do next and i can't wait to experience it with you guys <3

I have so many amazing fandom memories from my past 3 years in this fandom, but I'll just give 4:

1.Season 3 Finale Night--Watching that proposal live was INCREDIBLE. I was still somewhat new to the fandom having only started watching the show about 12 weeks before so I didn't have any actual fandom friends at that point, but it was still so much fun liveblogging that episode. Leading up to the episode airing, I felt about 95% sure that the proposal was going to happen and then...IT DID! I remember crying and feeling like I was almost blacking out from joy! I don't think any live viewing moment ever topped that one for excitement! After the episode, I stayed up way too late but then after only a couple hours of sleep, I woke up in the middle of the night. I had two choices: try to go back to sleep or watch the proposal scene 10 times. I think you can probably guess which one I chose! The next day at work was ROUGH.

2. Theorizing with Kaitlyn--in the lead up to episode 4x04, my tumblr account got terminated for absolutely no reason. I was horrified! I quickly made a new account to lament what had happened as I tried to get it back. Luckily, I did get it back about 30 hours later, but in the meantime, @she-walked-away came off anon to dm me on my temporary account. We have been theorizing together EVER SINCE. We've had some amazing moments, like the time we (mostly Kaitlyn) figured out the Huntington's storyline before it aired and the time we guessed a whole lot of what was going to happen in season 5 but also got a whole lot wrong. Our theorizing conversations have absolutely enhanced my fandom experience these past couple years!

3. The first Lone Star cross stitch I posted--Back in March 2023, I had the idea to combine my cross stitching hobby with my love for 911 Lone Star. I got to work and, on April 5, 2023, I posted my first ever finished Lone Star cross stitch:

The response was really nice and it inspired me to keep going. Now, making Lone Star cross stitch is one of my favorite things to do.

4. Talking to fandom friends on discord--I was always pretty intimidated by discord, I don't even know why. But in early 2024, I broke down and made an account and I'm incredibly happy that I did! It has allowed me to get closer to so many fandom friends, from the ones I talk to occasionally to the ones I talk to every single day! I even got the amazing experience of meeting one of said friends in person in AUSTIN, TX of all places 🥰 I would not have gotten through the long hiatus before season 5 without all of you and I'll certainly be counting on you to help get me through the sadness after the show ends!

Favorite Fandom Memories: 911 Lone Star

I’ve made no secret about the fact that the end of this show has made it hard for me to watch because I am not ready to say goodbye and if I don’t watch the rest of the season it’s not really over (I know that’s not how this works).

But for my favorite fandom memories:

The wild speculation we got into! Through the ice storm arc and all the way through season five. I’ve been wildly wrong multiple times but never regretted a moment of sharing my thoughts, analysis and flailing and reading everyone else’s in between. It has been a pleasure and an honor clowning with you all. May we be Lone Star 🤡 forever.

Bisexual/Pan Nancy confirmed! It was a delightful line about her ex who was still shorter than her in heels, but Nancy confirming her type is: shorter than her the fandom rejoiced. Even if we didn’t get some of the WLW ships we had hoped for, it was lovely to have this truth to be canon, and for 4/6 of the Catan gang to be openly queer.

All of the fic and the gifsets and the asks and the tag games and the art of all kinds and just how lovely this fandom is for creation. I wrote so many fics for this fandom and so much meta and read so much meta and there’s beautiful fanart and thank you all for the creativity and support that this fandom gives to its members.

To all of you who I’ve interacted with since joining this fandom, whether you’re still in this fandom or have moved on, it’s been a hell of a ride and thank you for everything you’ve shared.

Tag Game Tuesday: 911 Lone Star Fandom Edition

When did you first start watching Lone Star? Who or what introduced you to the show?

What is time? Okay, so I have competing memories about this. I want to say we started watching 911 OG because of the pandemic. But, I also have vivid memories of watching Lonestar from episode 1 because it was a 911 spinoff. And, given when Lonestar started those are incompatible memories.

Which is to say I think we must have started watching 911 OG earlier than I remember.

Which season is your favorite?

Season 2. When they're really getting to know each other, and figure out how to talk to each other. I really love how they handled the whole farmer's market thing - Carlos telling TK about what coming out was like for him, and TK actually listening.

Who is your favorite character? (Bonus: If you answered TK or Carlos, who is your favorite besides them?)

Hard to choose, but I think a toss up between Judd and Grace. I just really love their marriage, and how much faith and trust they have in each other, and how much they just clearly love and like each other. Also, Judd's got a great kind of exasperated older brother energy, and his voice has a fantastic cadence to write.

I am also terrible at remembering episode numbers. So.

the one with the farmer's market

the entire Marjan episode last season

the kidnapping arc - I love getting to see Carlos be smart about being a detective

the one with the kidnapped kid (my father-in-law more or less), because see above about watching Carlos be smart, and actually recognized for it this time

the Gwyn's death/airplane falling out of the sky episode - because everyone was so good in that episode, and you could feel how much everything ached, and I liked getting to see a glimpse of TK's relationship with his mother.

If you could pick any character to be given a "begins" episode, who would it be and what would that episode look like?

Paul. I know we've gotten hints, but I'd love to know more about why he picked firefighting, and what pushed him to leave Chicago in the end.

Also, Nancy, because we know almost nothing about her.

What is a scenario or storyline that you would like to see in season 5?

I'd like a chance to see TK be good at his job - we know he is because we've been told he is, but I don't feel like we've gotten to see it much.

I'd like a Halloween episode - small children in adorable costumes, and crazy calls, and so much teasing between the team about candy and costumes.

Also, I'd really like the show to remember that TK has a step-father(ish) type person, and a brother.

What do you think is going on in this still?

I mean, realistically I think it's probably nothing that any of us can guess. But, I think it looks like Carlos is doing something that TK doesn't want him to - either still pursuing his father's murderer, or agreeing to do something for work that scares TK (undercover?).

We all know about the elusive 5x05 spicy scene that has been teased, so what is your prediction for how it could possibly top 1x02?

I have no words for how much I want lazy making out on the couch that turns into something hotter and heavier. I want low soundtrack so you can hear the way fabric shifts together, and the couch squeaks a little under their weight. I want Carlos's hand gripping TK's hip (think the kiss from Some Kind of Wonderful - the way Eric Stoltz's hand just flexes on her hip, like he can't help himself).

I want them home, and comfortable with each other, but still so hot for each other.

Where was the Tarlos honeymoon in your mind?

Well, apparently they went to a resort somewhere? Given how much Carlos apparently dislikes traveling, we can only imagine the lengths TK had to go to persuade him of that. But, I think Owen and the Andrea upgraded their reservation to apologize for kind of taking over the wedding planning.

I think it wasn't quite what they imagined - because how could it be - but it was what they needed, a chance to be away, to be together, to regroup, and grieve, and not have to try and do it in front of anyone else. I think for the first few days Carlos tried to make it perfect, the way it was supposed to have been, and TK kept trying to say, it doesn't have to be that. And eventually Carlos let himself believe TK and took the time to really process what he lost - not just his father, but the potential for the relationship they were just starting to rebuild.

Shoutout one of your favorite fan creations.

I really liked the themed recc lists that @welcometololaland started. I always love a good recc list, and I like ones that come with summaries and personal endorsements.
