No because I know we joke how religious kurt is but man It's so funny how the black bird can be doing a nose dive and kurt just starts praying or how he's like "You know lying is a sin right??" But at the exact same time, is probably the most chill guy about it and also says "Only god can judge but I can set up the appointment" threatening to kill someone while ALSO hanging from the ceiling and reading his bible.

This man would just be up there, giggling like "Jesus you're so sassy."

And Id like to set the record straight that unlike popular belief I don't think kurt would force the kids to get baptized or trick them into it. Ive seen some people say that Kurt prays over the children at the school- yes. He does, but Ive also seen people claim that hes the type to baptize everyone in the pool without their consent and Imma have to stop you right there pal.

If a child comes to him and asks him to do it? He will. But I wholeheartedly believe that Kurt wouldn't forcibly try to convert or baptize the children. It's just wrong.

"Well kids dont know that they should get baptized" and that is the exact point. What is the point of doing something if the kid has zero understanding? Its only to please their parents and peers because of the social preasure that comes with intense churches. I think its why kurt wants to be a reconized priest so badly so that he can have a true non corrupt place for people to feel safe.

Parents can baptize their kids if they want too, its their choice, but dont act like your child knows whats going on. Not only that most kids scream cry after being dunked BECAUSE they dont understand. Why would kurt wish to damage the relationship between a child and religion like that? That causes negative connection and he knows it. Its common sense really that if you dont like an action youll no longer like the place it happens in.

Anyway.

Rant over. But please stop demonizing the man whos spent his life trying to prove that hes not a demon by saying he does these things to kids.

Like come onnnnn dude! I love Nibbly and Linda, but why'd they have to break the pattern??

I get that Linda fits the story well, but I like the pattern. So HC to fix it?

I say yes. Linda is actually her middle name, and she hates it as that's what her father calls her, along with 'Piggy' due to her nose. Her first name is Nichelle, because her parents wanted her to stand out but no-one can pronounce it properly or try to shorten it, so she just got annoyed and now goes by her middle name.

Although Blinky may not follow the pattern either, as in Watcher World, he seems to be far more interested in Alice, and she kills the mascot at the park, however I have seen more fanart of Bill!Blinky and their general association.

But it seems to have been the intention to give each LiB a human that embodies their trait, and Linda fits Nibbly to a T, being so hungry for the win, she sabotages all her competition. Tinky is the Time Bastard, and Ted meddles with time to get what he wants, like a bastard. Pokey claims Paul, possibly because he is the most resistant to him, knowing once Pokey gets Paul, everyone else would soon follow/would be easier to convert as they are less resistant. And Wiggly has Wiley, who is very happy to do Wiggly's bidding.

So does Blinky really think a middle aged man, who is going through a divorce and trying to reconnect with his teenage daughter but his friends just leaving him hanging the best thing to watch?

Although if that were a show or something, people would EAT THAT SHITT UPPPP

Look. I have been a Chalastor shipper for literal years. All the way back when the pilot came out. I adored them and actually thought there was a chance they’d become canon. I’ve always had so many concepts in my head for them. 

This chaotic neutral force there to fuck with the other character only to realize he actually wants to see her succeed. 

The idea of Charlie successfully saving a sinner and suddenly, Alastor sees her in a whole new light. He looks at her and she’s glowing. Just.. AHHH. It is so cute!

But, uh… things are a bit complicated now. So.. I guess let’s talk about it.��

But, obviously, I can’t talk about Chalastor without talking about their two most popular ships. 

I’ll start with Radiodust, since I have the least to say about it. 

I never got it. Alastor has always been very clearly a sex repulsed asexual, and Angel is a horny ass pornstar. Plus, I’ve always shipped Huskerdust. But I’ve always liked the dynamic idea of Alastor and Angel, but I cannot for the life of me think of them in a romantic light. 

Now Chaggie..

For the longest time, I didn’t even know they were dating. The pilot kept it very on the DL, so I never even realized until months after the pilot when someone told me they were canonically dating. 

And even after that, I couldn’t ship them. 

But now the show is out, and they have more scenes! Surely-

Oh, no, they’re still bland..

They are one of the most boring, vanilla ships.. ever. And I want to love the ship, I really do. And I’ve tried. But I cannot. They just.. aren’t my thing. But that doesn’t mean I hate the ship at all! I just.. don’t go out looking for fanart or comics of them. 

But Chalastor just scratches my brain in such a nice, satisfying way. It always has. 

But, now that the episode, Dad Beat Dad is out.. things are complicated. 

At first, I thought they were pulling the “Lucifer thinks Alastor is flirting with Charlie and was ready to go all ‘shotgun dad’ on him, but then is relieved to realize she is with Vaggie.” Especially because of the way Alastor touched Charlie’s shoulder and leaned in. But, no, that’s not what they did. When he met Vaggie, there didn’t seem to be relief, but awkwardness to meet the girl his daughter is dating. 

So that means he never considered the idea that Charlie and Alastor were together. So that means from the very beginning he saw Alastor as competition as the fatherly figure in Charlie’s life. Which.. says a lot for how they appear to others within universe. Because if I saw someone touch someone’s shoulder like that and lean in, I’d assume flirting. But that wasn’t an option that Lucifer even had in his mind. So, how do they appear to seem to the characters in this universe? They look like a father and daughter..

And that’s just.. woof. Not great. 

And don’t even get me started on Chalastor shippers making this into a daddy kink. 

The most I like is the memes that say “Your daughter calls me daddy too” because it’s funny, but anyone taking it seriously and making it into an actual thing is just.. I’m not a fan. Especially since Alastor is a sex repulsed asexual. 

Now, I know I’m going to get people saying “Oh, Alastor was just acting that way to fuck with Lucifer!” and I know that, but the fact that the very idea that they could have a father-daughter relationship and everyone in universe taking that idea seriously says a lot and makes shipping them.. complicated. 

So, what now? Well, I’m still going to ship it. Just.. tentatively. And as for everyone else.. do whatever you want, idc.

I try to add a little something to each scene that might be different than the original–something in keeping with the totality of what we know and believe about Queliot in our hearts. It might just be a chance to see some details more clearly, with more detail, color, or light; it might be slightly more interaction between the characters, such as a hand on a shoulder, which was placed there later in the same scene; or it might be a chance to glimpse a little more of their faces than is shown in any one shot (because on the show we get the full range of motion and their tone of voice to add clues, as well as what we know about them; so a moment is always more than just a single frozen image, and I’ve tried to reflect that where I can).

I very recently started a Tedromeda Historical Fantasy/Arranged Marriage AU. This is a snippet from their wedding: Andromeda’s heart pounded as the music swelled inside the chapel. But with a calming breath, and her father’s arm solid beneath hers, she took the first step towards her new life.

The walk down the aisle felt as though it would never end, but it gave her the benefit of observing her husband-to-be. King Edward stood with his back to her. His stance carefully conveyed an ease that the tension in his shoulders betrayed. His hair had been cut short at the back, only just brushing the collar of the fully military dress he wore.

Finally, they reached the end of the aisle. Andromeda curtsied first to King Orion, and then to King Edward. When she lifted her eyes to his face, she found the same curiosity she had seen the night before.

She was glad for the small posy she held that hid her shaking hands as King Edward lifted her veil. Their eyes met and a pleased smile spread across his face.

“I hoped it would be you,” he whispered and Andromeda felt her cheeks turn pink. She was glad when the priest began the service and she had an excuse to turn away from that steady gaze of his.

King Edward squeezed her hand gently each time they joined through the service, and each time, Andromeda found herself squeezing back. His hands were rough, calloused in a way she would never expect from a man in his position.

The sermon was given, and the vows were exchanged. In no time at all, the priest was declaring them husband and wife, and King Edward was pressing a chaste kiss to her cheek.
