I went to the TLK exhibition in Bamburgh today, it was incredible to see the costumes up close, and the props! Being able to see the details that went into the craftsmanship was brilliant

The Battle of Brunanburh was fought in 937 between Æthelstan, King of England, and an alliance of Olaf Guthfrithson, King of Dublin, Constantine II, King of Scotland, and Owain, King of Strathclyde. The battle is often cited as the point of origin for English nationalism: historians such as Michael Livingston argue that "the men who fought and died on that field forged a political map of the future that remains [in modernity], arguably making the Battle of Brunanburh one of the most significant battles in the long history not just of England, but of the whole of the British Isles."

We're finally at the end of the countdown! Thank you all so much for engaging with my posts, this has been so much fun to do and I've loved every minute of it!

I think I've pretty much posted every piece of media I have of TLK (there are a few screenshots but they're probably contained in some of the gorgeous GIFs that are made by you very talented folk) but seeing as Seven Kings comes out TOMORROW, it's probably time to draw this to a close.

For the last day, I had to bring back the iconic scene of Sigtryggr being PEAK husband material 💜. Eys's acting really made this scene, it gave me chills tbh. Also can't forget that this episode was directed by Alexander Dreymon, an absolutely gorgeous directorial debut!

Special mention to Finan being super stressed but what else is new on this show lmaoo.
