Kiros chuckled. "And so do we. Those useless reptiles are just bullies and we are going to claim what is ours, Darius. What will be yours one day, as my blood is also yours."

The cub was still trembling but his father's words calmed him a little bit.

"Now, show me where those crocodiles are."

Before Shaju, Kiros had Darius. And while Kiros wasn't a bad father he was prideful and thought he was strong enough to fight anything. Sadly this is the moment Darius loses his hindleg and Kiros, thinking the cub is dead, left him, shocked.

When Dalia learns what happened, she claws Kiros and chases him away.

Kiros at first runs away, but then vengeance fills his heart and the next day he goes into a killing spree and murders all the crocodiles. But his former mate has already left and Kiros swears to become the strongest lion and to kill any predator that isn't the same of his kind.

Blood for blood.

I've already forgotten what the plot of this picture is, but probably Taka somehow suffered because of his brother's actions and hoping that his father would not scold them too much for running away from the nannies. Taka believed that Ahadi would sympathize with his injury, but he only received an even bigger scolding, while Mufasa successfully avoided parental anger.

Aldhelm's Brooch

Handmade by me, from Super Sculpey polymer clay, and painted with acrylic paints to resemble antique bronze. It measures 3 inches (10cm) in diameter. I sculpted onto a watchglass so I could get a curvature. The watchglass was removed after baking. It took me approximately 25 hours from start to finish.

A lot of fans talk about wanting a replica of Uhtred's sword. However, I wanted something more personal and meaningful to me. I had been planning to make this brooch for over a year now, and finally had the time and motivation to do so.

Progress photos. I rolled out the clay and molded it onto a watchglass. Then I printed out my sketch and used a pin to pinpoint the locations of the main features (the little spheres). Afterwards, it was just a lot of fiddly sculpting work to create the details. This was 100% done by hand; I did not use any molds or pre-created forms for this.

Screencaps of the brooch. And you can see what I had to work with here, lol. Weird fact: his brooch changed color over the seasons! It was shiny gold colored in season 3, silver in season 4, and antique bronze in season 5. Don't know why it changed so much. Aldhelm's brooch is very unique and particular to him. He had a standard large bronze Mercian boar brooch in season 2, just like Aethelred, but for some reason that was changed to this one in season 3. It seemed to coincide with the change in his apparent personality, so I wonder if it was intentional or not?

I had a TLK dream last week and I wanted to draw Kovu in it. When I woke up, I made that dream come true.

I tried to make his mane messy, but it turned too fluffy instead. Well, I kinda like it!

I headcanon that the rock where Kiara was discovered by Timon and Pumbaa became a safe place for her and Kovu. When cubs they sometimes met there until it became impossible for them to do so when training for both of them started to be strenous.

Almost no one knows about this place and Timon and Pumbaa conciously forgot about it when they casually discovered the pair of lions in a compromising position xD

I could talk for hours on how amazing Nuka and Zira are as characters and how wonderfully messed up their whole family dynamic is in relation to Kovu if they ever touch the 2nd part then I'm ending up on the news
