Love your fics!!! You have such a talent and wonderful way of representing the turtles!!
Just a small requestâŠ
Could you write the dark turtles x reader smut, maybe reader is being a brat :)
If not totes cool xoxo -đŠ
Sheâs A Spicy One, Isnât She? (18+)
Dark Leonardo x reader x Dark Michelangelo
A/N: Awwww, thank you so much! Itâs really nice to hear that you like my writingđ Iâve been working on this one for a while now, as for some reason I just had a real hard time writing it. I continuously got writer's blocks while writing this, but tonight I felt like I finally managed to get somewhere. You said turtles as plural, so I gave the lucky wheel a spin, and it decided on a threesome with Dark Leo and Dark Mikey. My intention was to make the reader much more bratty, but for some reason it just didnât go as I wanted to, so Iâve put a bigger emphasis on the reader being âspicyâ, lol. Anyway, hope youâll enjoy anywayđ€đđ€đ§Ą
All characters are aged up.
Warnings: Feeling slightly forced in the start I guess, bondage?, oral - female receiving, turtle anatomy, doggy, light spanking, oral - male receiving, face fucking, threesome lol, creampie.
âSo, what are we going to do with her?â, Dark Mikey asked, bowing down to get a closer look at your tied up form on the warehouse floor, the fabric over your mouth keeping you from spitting at him. âI canât see what Darius would gain from keeping her around. Just letting her lay there. A waste if you ask meâ.
âIâve already told you this once. We donât keep her around for Dunnâ, Dark Leo grumbled, already feeling a growing urge to punch his youngest brother. âWe have her, in order to trick the turtles. And if this plan is going to work, you better leave her the hell aloneâ.
âI just want to play with her a little bitâ, Dark Mikey said, the constant smirk still large on his face, his fingers creeping towards the fabric over your mouth, slowly pulling down on it. âItâs a shame the turtles have such a pretty thing and we donât. Who knows, maybe her mouth feels as good as it looksâ.
The orangey yellow Kanabo clone pulled the fabric from your face, licking his lips with his long tongue as his fingers squeezed your cheeks together, taking a better look at your face. âVery pretty indeed. Iâve always wondered if- AUW!â
Dark Mikey yelped, letting go of your face, holding on to the hand that had been on you just moments ago, seeing the bite marks you had left on his skin. You expected him to get angry, but instead something triggered in his eyes. A sparkle of something you had never seen before in either the kanabo clones or the turtles themself, sending shivers throughout your body.
Dark Mikey laughed, looking directly at Dark Leo, his smile growing wider. âSheâs a spicy one, isnât she? Letâs see how spicy she is after Iâm done with her- OOF!â
âNo you donât!â, Dark Leo yelled, janking Mikey away from you, shaking him as he spoke. âIf we want the plan to work, we canât hurt herâ.
âDamn, you are no funâ, Mikey said, slowly getting out of Leoâs grip. âI get it! No playing with the pretty spicy girl. I get it! I get it!â
âIs that so?â, Leo asked, not seeming fully convinced. âThen go stay with the others! And donât come in back here before I tell you to!â
âJeez, okay! Iâm going! Iâm going!â, Mikey called out, before turning around, and making his way out of the warehouse, to whatever place their brothers were hiding at, leaving you and Leo alone. Here Leo was quick to turn to you. He stared at you for a moment with narrow eyes, before taking a hold of fabric and placing it in your mouth once again. Then, without a word, he turned and went the way Mikey had, making a show of turning off the light before he disappeared, leaving you alone on the floor of the warehouse. Bound, confused and angry in the dark, wondering when - if ever - you were going to see your friends again.
â
You werenât sure how long you were left alone in the dark warehouse. But after what felt like an eternity, you had decided to get some sleep, letting your bound form rest against the floor beneath you. It was here in the dark of the warehouse, getting what sleep you could on the floor, that someone entered the room with you, stirring you from your light sleep.
Laying still and quiet on your floor, you listened for whoever was sneaking their was through the darkness, making their way towards you. You felt your heart beat hard in your chest, a pit growing in your stomach as it slowly dawned on you who it might be. And then, the voice you had predicted, came to you just as their face became visible in the dark, big orange eyes watching you like a pray.
âIâm not giving up on a good time so easilyâ, Mikey chuckled, crouching down before you with a devilish smile. âEspecially not when youâre laying in here, looking so pretty⊠all aloneâ.
The knuckles of Mikeyâs right hand came to meet your cheek, smoothing over your skin in a caring manner, all while his eyes roamed over your body, picturing what things he wanted to do to you. This sended shivers down your spine, in a manner much closer to excitement to fear. For a moment you wondered if your own body was betraying you, with a small tingle of a butterfly wing emerging inside your stomach. And with that came a light yet sweet scent, gracing Mikeyâs nostrils ever so slightly. But the moment your sweet scent touched Mikeyâs senses, his pupils seemed to grow bigger, with a pleased smile spreading over his lips.
âOh, Iâm definitely going to play with youâ, Mikey chuckled, letting his hands grab a firm hold of your hips, sliding you over the floor and closer to him, a small yelp like scream trying to escape the fabric over your mouth. Mikey chuckled, focusing his attention on loosening the restraints around your legs, not noticing the other person entering the warehouse.
âWhat are you doing?â, Leoâs voice echoed loudly through the large room, causing Mikey to freeze in place, still staring down at you, your binds in his hands, just about to release them from your legs.
It didnât take long before Leo saw what Mikey was doing, immediately catching on to what was going on. And from the scent the air carried to him, Leo was also made very aware of the fact that you were not unaffected.
Leo walked to you with calm steps, the sound of them echoing through the room. He was not worried about Mikey running or doing something stupid. He had been caught disobeying Leoâs command. There was no place for him to run. He had been caught red handed.
Once by you and Mikey, Leo couched down so that he could look at the two of you. Yet another shiver ran down your back, fueling your growing excitement.
Silence was thick between the kanabo brothers, until Leo finally broke the growing tension. âYou want to play with her?â, he asked. Mikey looked from you to Leo, giving him a small nod, his hand unmoving from your restraints. Leo looked to you for a moment, letting his eyes glide over your body once, before returning his attention back towards his brother. âThen playâ, Leo said, leaning in threateningly towards his brother, watching Mikeyâs expression turn from slight fear to confusion and surprise. âProve that itâs worth risking the plan to play with herâ.
Mikeyâs look of surprise and confusion turned into a smirk, catching on to what his brother was saying.
âOh, itâs definitely going to be worth itâ, Mikey smirked, removing the binding from your legs. Leo gave him a small nod, before raising to stand, walking a few steps away, before taking a seat on the floor, giving him a full view of where you were laying.
Mikeyâs long clawed fingers grabbed a hold of your ankle, pulling you towards him in a sharp jank. You expected yourself to scream, or make a sound of discomfort. But to your surprise, the sound that left you was a light and sudden moan, leaving you, Mikey and Leo in silence, your excitement growing stronger, your scent giving the kanabo clones no doubt.
âOh, you like that?â, Mikey asked, his smile growing even bigger, before throwing his brother a look over his shoulder. âI told you she was a spicy oneâ.
âYou did indeedâ, Leo said, not taking his eyes off of you.
Mikeyâs hands quickly moved from your ankles to your pants, where his claws began working to open them. However Mikey quickly grew frustrated, finding his claws unable to get a full grasp on your button and zipper. And so, Mikey was quick to use his claws, ripping the clothes of your lower body, before leaving it in shreds on the floor.
You found your breaths becoming heavy, with your excitement pooling in your underwear, as Mikey moved your legs apart, staring lustfully at the wet spot on the fabric, shielding your most intimate area from his view.
âReal spicy. And you are enjoying this? Youâre only getting better and betterâ, Mikey growled, before hooking a claw onto the sides of your panties, before pulling them down your legs, throwing them to where the shreds of your pants were laying on the floor. Now with your slick folds on full display, a small rumble came from deep within Mikey. He was churring, in a way only a kanabo clone of a mutant turtle could do.
âMmmh, spicy and juicy. Iâm having a feast tonightâ, Mikey smirked, before lowering himself down between your legs. Mikey did not hesitate before letting his long tongue drag through your wet folds, causing you to squirm under him, moaning against the fabric.
Mikey chuckled at your reaction, continuing his long licks over you, only parting from you for a moment, in order to smirk at you, still tasting you on his tongue. âIâm definitely going to enjoy thisâ.
Mikey went back down to continue the work of his tongue, focusing his efforts around your clit, licking and sucking at it to his heart's content, taking in every single sound and move you made under him. It was a joy to Mikey to watch you struggle against the bounds that kept your arms firmly to your sides, fighting to find something to hold onto, as Mikeyâs tongue slowly started to rock your world.
Mikey hummed against you as his tongue went from your clit, making its way done to your entrance, before letting his long wet muscle slide into you. This caused your legs to become restless, forcing Mikey to grasp a firm hold on them, as his tongue started thrusting in and out of you at a brutal speed.
Moaning against the fabric over your mouth, you tossed and turned your head, before locking eyes with Leo, who still sat on the floor, watching you like a hawk. You could only imagine how this might look from his angle. Your cheeks pink with heat, your hair a mess, the fabric over your mouth wet with saliva, with your legs held firmly up over Mikeyâs shoulders, as he ate you out like his life was depending on it.
The look in Leoâs eyes made the strong feeling in your stomach grow, pushing you closer and closer to the edge. Mikey could smell it on you, placing a thumb over your bundle of nerves, rubbing it in circles.
You came with a strangled moan, your back arching as you cried out, with Mikeyâs tongue continuing to fuck you through your high. The yellow kanabo between your legs was groaning at your taste, feeling his own need and urge growing stronger.
Parting from your flower, chuckling at your whimper when you felt the loss of contact, Mikeyâs hands flew to his shorts, undoing them with quick hands, breathing like he was already out of breath.
âIâm not done playing with you yet, beautifulâ, Mikey said, getting rid of his shorts, ignoring how his cloaca was begging him to let him drop. He wanted to drop into you. With both hands, Mikey grabbed hold of your hips, before turning you over, forcing your naked ass up in the air, and your face down against the floor. You moaned at the way Mikey manhandled you, already feeling yourself clench around empty air.
Mikey kneaded the flesh of your ass and hips as he pressed his cloaca against you, rubbing you up and down his front, before letting out a loud groan, as his long member slowly made its way out of Mikeyâs confinements and directly into your tight walls. You moaned out loud at the feeling of Mikey filling you out, while the kanabo behind you groaned, getting adjusted to the way your walls hugged him.
âFuck, youâre tightâ, Mikey groaned, slowly pulling his thick member out of you, before slowly pushing back in, smiling when he heard your muffled moan in respons. âIâm going to fuck you so good and you know itâ, he growled, slowly speeding up the movements of his hips, light claps of skin slapping together echoing with each push into you.
It was here, with your ass high in the air, getting fucked by the youngest of the kanabo turtles, with your cheek against the floor, eyes locking with the oldest kanabo turtle once more. This time Leo stood from where he had been sitting, before making his way over to you, paying Mikey no mind as he crouched down in front of your face, the hint of a smirk playing at the edges on his lips. Without saying a world, Leo pulled the soaked fabric from your mouth with one hand, letting your moans out in the open. With the same hand he put an index finger under your chin, letting the thumb rest on your lower lip, pulling your parted lip down ever so slightly. You took the opportunity to poke your tongue out, licking Leoâs large thumb, before taking it into your mouth, hollowing out your cheeks, sparking something in Leoâs eyes.
âYou really are a spicy one, arenât you?â, Leo asked, watching with interest as your tongue and mouth worked around his thumb. You nodded with Leoâs thumb in your mouth, humming as Mikey started to push harder into you. âYou want more donât you?â You nodded again, but this wasnât enough for Leo, who pulled his thumb from your mouth. âI need words, (Y/N)â, he said, making you clench around Mikey.
âYesâ, you whimpered. âI want moreâ.
âThought soâ, Leo said with a smirk, before loosening the bonds around your upper body, finally letting your arms free. You could now push your upper body up off the ground, looking back to take in the sight of Mikey as he continued to pound into you.
âLike what you see?â, he asked, before giving you right ass cheek a hard smack, causing you to yelp out loud. âHoly shit. Should have taken that off your mouth ages agoâ, he groaned, slamming harder and faster into you, causing you to moan even louder.
âIf you want to hear her moan, youâll have to do that when Iâm doneâ, Leo said, causing you to look back at him, finding him on his knees before you, his pants long gone with his large member standing big and proud before you. Your mouth almost started watering at the sight, with Leo not even having to tell you what he wanted. As soon as he presented his member before you, you took it into your mouth, hollowing your cheeks like you had done with his thumb.
Leo groaned at the feeling of your mouth around him, watching as you started to bob your head back and forth on his length, trying to sturdy yourself with one hand on the ground, the other holding onto the part of Leoâs member you couldnât fit in your mouth. Using one hand Leo grabbed a hold of your head, holding it like a ponytail, before using it as leverage he slowly began to thrust in and out of your mouth.
You were truly a sight to behold. Not just for Leo but for Mikey as well, watching how you were able to take on two thick penises at once. You moaned around Leoâs member, each and every time Mikeyâs tip made contact with that sensitive spot deep inside of you. Yet you took Leo as deep as you could, gagging around him, while backing up against Mikey with each of his thrusts, causing the two kanabos to groan out loud.
âTold you she was spicyâ, Mikey groaned, somehow managing to increase his speed even further, turning you into a moaning mess, your mouths strangled by Leoâs member face fucking you.
Once again you felt that familiar feeling growing inside of you, and you knew it couldnât be long before you would reach or second high. Mikey felt it too, from the way you clenched further around him, pushing him even closer to his own high. Right above your head you found Leo groaning as he continued to thrust into you mouth, finding himself getting closer and closer to his high, already aiming to unload himself into you.
After a few more thrust from both men, you finally found yourself pushed over the edge, cumming with a loud moan that not even Leoâs member could muffle. Each of them, feeling themselves in the edges thrusted wildly into you as a one last effort to reach their own highs.
Mikey was the first, his hips flattering against you as he unloaded himself into your pulsing walls, before slowly thrusting back and furth, carefully riding out the two of your highs.
Leo was the last one to cum, groaning lowly as he shot his loads into your mouth, watching as you swallowed it in front of him, before bobbing your head in order to milk the last bits from him.
âHoly shitâ, Leo groaned, watching as you continued on him, letting go of your hair in order to rest his hand against your head, letting you continue at your own pace.
From behind you, Mikey slowly pulled out with a groan, watching as his white pearly load slowly dripped out of you, running down your legs to the floor.
âSo?â, Mikey suddenly asked, drawing an annoyed look from Leo who just wanted to focus on you and your efforts on him. âHave I proven this is worth risking the plans for?â

Ooo if itâs okay (totally okay if not!) can I please request an angst to fluff Carmy x fem!reader where Y/n and Carmy had been engaged when he was in culinary school in New York, maybe she was going to a University then for elementary education or something, but they had broken up after Carmy got the news about his brother and went back to Chicago and they lost touch. Fast forward and Y/n is visiting Chicago and happens to walk into The Bear to eat (she didnât know it was Carmyâs restaurant because the last time they talked, âThe Bearâ was âThe Beefâ) holding a little girl almost 2 years old who looks strikingly similar to Carmy. Iâm sure heâd be upset that she didnât tell him about her though, but they talk through everything (maybe Carm has gotten some therapy by this pointđ
)
Carmy getting to know his daughter and overtime rekindling his relationship and getting back together with Y/n?đ„č

âCarmen! Will you fuckinâ talk to me!â you yelled as you watched Carmy move across your shared bedroom.
âThereâs nothinâ to fuckinâ talk about!â he yelled back, throwing clothes into his suitcase.
âCarm, you canât just âmove back to Chicagoâ! Weâre engaged! Iâm in school, and you havenât even put in a two-week notice. We just renewed our fuckinâ lease!â you challenged, throwing your hands up exhaustedly. âListen, I get it. Grief and mourning is hard-â
âDonât. Donât you fuckinâ dare.â Carmy said coldly, stopping in his tracks. You stepped back and watched Carmy push a hand through his hair, âListen. Y/N. I need to do this. Come, donât come. I honestly donât fuckinâ care at this point.â
âYou donât care? Carmy⊠weâre engaged? Weâre engaged, but donât you care about me? About what I want? How do you-â
âBreak up with me then.â Carmy cut you off. His words left you blindsided, and you stared at him as you let the emotions ruminate.Â
âWhat?âÂ
âThis is happening Y/N. Iâm moving back to Chicago, and truthfully, I donât care what you think or how this makes you feel. Mikey left me his restaurant, and Iâm gonna make it good. Stay in New York, do whatever. I donât care.â Carmy said scarily calmly as he zipped his bag.Â
âFuck you, Berzatto.â you scoffed as you tried to pry the engagement ring off of your finger. âIâve known you for two fuckinâ years. Youâve talked to your sister, like, what, three times in the last two years? Youâre brother even less- and now youâre throwing away our life to go run some shitty sandwich shop?â
âYou donât fuckinâ get it, Y/N! Okay. You donât fuckinâ get it.â Carmy exacerbated as he grabbed his bag. âJust forget about me.â
~~~~
âMomma!â You heard your two-year-old's excited squeal from the other side of the AirBnB the two of you had been staying in. You groaned; it was 5 a.m. and entirely too early to wake up, but Hailey couldnât tell time yet. As you got out of bed, you heard Haileyâs giggles intensifying. You laughed as you walked out of the bedroom and down the hall into the living room. Haliey had managed to get onto the window seat by the large bay window overlooking the busy Chicago street.
âDo you see a dog?â you cheerfully asked as you came up and lifted her onto your hip. Hailey nodded furiously and pointed across the street, where a man struggled to walk five large dogs. You smiled and bounced Haliey on your hip. âJust like at home, huh, sugar cookie? Chicago is a lot like New York.â Hailey giggled and rested her face on your collarbone, bringing her thumb to her mouth. âOkay, letâs get you some breakfast. Then weâll get dressed. After that, you can watch some Bluey while Momma gets ready⊠then Iâm gonna drop you off at Uncle Ryanâs house, and you two will have a super fun day- I heard heâs taking you to the zoo.â you explained, Hailey propped up at the mention of âthe zooâ which made you laugh. âYeah, you and Uncle Ryan are gonna see lions, and tigers, and bears-â
âOh my!â Haliey exactly squealed against her thumb. You laughed and sat her on the couch before going into the kitchen to make the two of you cereal bowls. âMomma!âÂ
âIâm cominâ Hailey. Iâm cominâ.â you ensured as you returned to the living room. You placed the bowls on the coffee table and grabbed your phone from your bag. âOkay⊠Hailey, Iâm going to get this job. We are going to move to Chicago permanently⊠Mommasâ gonna have an amazing job, and youâre gonna be so so so happy.â you said more to reassure yourself as opposed to informing Hailey of your prospective job. âWeâre gonna be okay.â
Hailey happily munched on her cereal and babbled on about some elaborate story sheâd created while you nervously poked at your bowl. You watched her sandy brown bedhead-ridden hair bounce as she got more invested in telling you her story. Her stories were always the highlight of your day. Hailey was what kept you going when work was a pain in the ass or when everything was overwhelming. The way she lit up over things she loved, the way she laughed and smiled, her imagination⊠her eyes. The same dazzling blue of her father- you shook your head at the thought of him.Â
Carmen âCarmyâ Berzatto. James Beard award-winning chef with a highly decorated resume of some of the most prominent, four Michelin Star restaurants across the country- hell across the world. He not only gave up that to run a crappy sandwich shop, he also gave up your shared future. The night he left was one of the worst nights of your life. You almost failed your finals the following month, and then you found out you were pregnant. Finishing school, having Hailey, and doing internships was hard, but the work paid off. Today was the day you were interviewing to be the principal of one of Chicago's most elite private schools. Cushy benefits, a considerable pay bump, being closer to your brother and his long-term girlfriend⊠the only downside was the potential of running into Carmy.Â
~~~
âYo Y/N- over here!â Danny called, waving his hand to catch your attention just outside some fancy restaurant Suzie had managed to get a reservation at. You waved and saw Hailey smiling in your direction.
âHey guys- thereâs my baby!â you cooed, taking Hailey from his arms. She happily squealed and kicked her feet as you bounced her on your hip. âI missed you, sugar cookie.â
âHowâd the interview go?â Suzie excitedly asked. You shrugged as you ran your thumb across Haileyâs cheek. Suzie nodded, âWell, theyâd be stupid not to hire you. Comâon The Bear is one of the best new restaurants in the city, and Iâve been dying to try it.â
The four of you had a phenomenal meal, although there was something eerily similar about it. âI swear Iâve had this exact meal before.â you laughed.
Carmy was walking to the hostess stand when he heard your laughter. He stopped dead in his tracks and quickly scanned the dining room before his eyes landed on the back of your head. It had been years since heâd seen you, but your laugh was the dead giveaway he needed to identify you. Carmy turned his attention back to the hostess stand and passed off a clipboard. âHereâŠâ he said before walking back to the kitchen. Before he entered, he looked back into the dining room and saw your side profile. He swallowed softly as he felt memories of the two of you rushing back to him. Carmy paused before quickly walking back into the kitchen and to his station.Â
Carmy tried to distract himself for the rest of dinner service, but knowing you were on the other side of those swinging doors was enough to throw him off his game. âIâll be right back,â he muttered in Sydâs direction before quickly walking into the back office before she could respond. As soon as heâd reached the office, he closed and locked the door behind himself before leaning back against the door and pushing his hands through his hair. âName all the brown thingsâŠâ he mumbled as he took a deep breath. Carmy looked around the office, âThe couch⊠the deskâŠ, and those shelves⊠fuckinâ Jason.â he scoffed, realizing the âanxiety tricksâ his therapist had taught him had been beneficial. After another deep breath, Carmy went to sit at his desk. He opened the top drawer to reveal a worn bubble mailer. He stared at it for a second before slamming the drawer closed. He couldnât think about you right now; he needed to get back into the kitchen.
When he walked out of the kitchen again, he saw your party had left. Carmy cursed under his breath as he quickly walked toward the exit. You coming into his restaurant had to be a sign, right? He looked up and down the street, trying to find you. Panic began to creep up as he realized he may have been too late. âHoly shit⊠Carmy?â your voice made Carmyâs brain go blank as he turned to face you. He was awestruck by your presence and couldnât manage to string two words together. âCarmy?â you asked again, laughing awkwardly.Â
âHe-ey-y bab- Y/N⊠hey Y/N.â Carmy corrected himself before shoving his hands in his pockets as he rocked on his heels.Â
âHey⊠what are you doinâ here?âÂ
âOh uh- this,â Carmy started before awkwardly gesturing up to The Bear, âItâs my-my restaurant. It used to be The Beef- Mikeyâs restaurant, but uhh, we remodeledâŠâ he explained. You nodded and glanced at your watch, wondering where Danny was with the car. âSo uh- what, what brought you to Chicago?âÂ
âJob interview- principal position at Ridgeview Conservatory.âÂ
âWow, thatâs fancy.â Carmy responded, âYou in Chicago much longer?âÂ
âA couple more days⊠visiting my brother Danny and his girlfriend.â
âDo you wanna get coffee tomorrow afternoon?â Carmy blurted out, âItâs cool if you canât- I just⊠this feels like a- like a sign. Ya know?âÂ
You nodded, âI-I uh... Yes. I can do that.â
âCool, cool⊠thereâs this place on 9th called Ginger Snap- wanna meet up at like 3:30?â
âYeah, that sounds good⊠see you then?â you confirmed, finally noticing Danny pulling up to the curb, âBye, Carm..â he nodded and watched you get into the backseat next to the car seat. You glanced down to see Hailey sleeping. You watched her momentarily before the weight of your decision to have coffee with Carmy finally hit you. âAre you workinâ tomorrow, Danny?âÂ
âYeah, did you need me to watch Hails?â he eagerly asked as he drove toward your AirBnB.Â
âItâs okay. I can just take her with me.âÂ
âYou have another interview?â Suzie brought up, turning her head to face you. You shook your head and thought for a second.
âJust hanginâ out with a friend of mine.â you slyly responded, hoping Danny hadnât seen you talking to Carmy. Suzie shot you a suspicious look before turning back in her seat. âIâm sure theyâll love to meet Hailey.â
~~
âCarmy. Ready for our appointment?â Jason called. Jason was a clean-cut man. He wasnât anything special. Carmy couldnât pick him out if he'd been in a lineup of men. The waiting room was posh, with muted pastel green walls and some simplistic nature art in simple black frames. After a year, Carmy still couldnât determine whether they were trees or leaves. He got up from his chair and tossed his empty coffee cup in the trash before following the man into an office. Carmy watched him sit in a dark leather armchair before he sat on a grey couch across from him. âSo. Whatâs new?â
âIâm getting with my ex-fiance in about an hour⊠thatâs-thatâs new. Um⊠I donât know how I feel about that.â Carmy started leaning back on the couch as he folded his arms over his lap and nervously played with the side seam of his jeans. He looked up to meet Jasonâs non-chantant face, âI told her to forget about me, and then a couple of months later, she mailed me her engagement ring⊠I keep it at my desk as like a reminder of everything I gave up for this freakinâ restaurant- and then she has dinner in my restaurant.â Carmy chuckled softly, âShe had dinner at my restaurant on a night when I made one of her favorite dishes- thatâs a sign, right? She came to Chicago for a job interview- sheâs gonna nail it. Sheâs a fuckinâ genius⊠badass clinical social worker with an additional masterâs degree in early childhood education. She was always at the top of her class, even when she was working and doing multiple internships. She dealt with me being an ass⊠I donât know Jason. It feels like a sign, and I know we talked about coincidences like six months ago, and I donât wanna get all God-y, but I feel like this is God bringing her back to me. Like-like, the world is this big massive black hole of a place, and my life has been filled with all this pain and shit, right? She was the only good thing I had; now sheâs back. I could get her back.â Carmy finally took a breath, and Jason shifted in his seat and moved his pen between his fingers like he had done when he was in deep contemplation.Â
âDo you remember your first goal when we started seeing each other?âÂ
Carmy thought momentarily before a laugh escaped his chest. âI said I wanted to feel in control of my life.â Jason nodded and shifted in his seat again. âI sound insane, donât I? I left this woman high and dry. She doesnât want me back, but I need to apologize for the last time we saw each other.â
âWhat if she doesnât accept your apology? Do you think you can accept that?â
Carmy scoffed at the question, âThereâs no way sheâs going to accept my apology. I think I can accept that⊠but can you concede it was, in fact, a sign that all of this is happening right now, right?â
âI believe in coincidences. I want you to tell me the worst-case scenario, the best-case scenario, and the most realistic scenario of what this meeting will result in.â Jason calmly asked while he maintained eye contact with Carmy.
âOkayâŠâ Carmy nodded as he thought for a moment. âWorst case scenario, she either doesnât show up, or she does show up and makes a scene tellinâ me what a d-bag I am- granted, she wouldnât use that language. Sheâd say something WAY harsher, which is one of the many things I love- loved about her. She always spoke her mind⊠best case scenario, we get coffee. While weâre drinking our coffee, she tells me sheâs moving to Chicago, and I ask her out, and we get back together.â
âIdealistic. I like that. Whatâs the most realistic?â Jason asked with a chuckle.
âWe get coffee, we talk. She decides she doesnât hate me for leaving her, and I donât know beyond thatâŠâ Carmy answered truthfully.
~~
âThis is a mistakeâŠâ you mumbled to yourself as you adjusted Hailey on your lap. Gingersnap Coffee was a small coffee shop. It was cute, definitely a place Carmy and you wouldâve gone to when you two were together in New York. You sighed and went back to watching the door as Hailey flopped her giraffe toy on the table.Â
Carmy arrived at the coffee shop on the dot at 3:30. He saw you sitting at the back table and felt a surge of energy overcome him. The two of you made eye contact; Carmy grinned as he approached the table. You stood up awkwardly, resulting in Haliey pausing her giraffe story, âHey,â you smiled weakly, immediately regretting the fact you brought Hailey. Carmy was about to greet you when Hailey curiously looked up at him. He glanced down at the little girl and felt his heart stop.Â
Carmy stared at Hailey. She smiled at him and pushed her giraffe toy in his direction. Unsure of what to do, he looked at you, then back at Hailey, then at you again before finally sputtering, âYo-you have a kid?âÂ
You nodded slowly and gestured for him to sit down. Carmy hesitated, but after you sat down, he followed suit. Carmy stared at Hailey. âI shoulda told you.â you passively excused.
âW-waitâŠâ Carmy started, âSheâs⊠is she?â
You nodded at Carmyâs implication, âI can explain-â
Carmy shook his head, âYou had my baby and didnât tell me? Were you ever going to tell me?âÂ
âYou left me,â you said in a hushed, blunt tone, âCarm, you told me to forget about you. I gave you the ring back. I blocked your number. I was trying to forget about you- then I found out I was pregnant. I hadnât talked to you in weeks, and I figured if you could so easily throw away our engagement-â
âNo.â Carmy spoke sternly, âIf I knew you were pregnant, I woulda done the right thing.â
The two of you sat in a tense silence interrupted by Hailey sneezing multiple times, âBess you!â she giggled, making you laugh as you dug a tissue out of your purse to wipe her nose. Carmy leaned back and watched the scene before him, realizing heâd missed two years of her life. âTank you Momma.âÂ
Carmy wrung his hands out under the table and nervously glanced at the decorative clock on the wall adjacent to the table the three of you had occupied. âDo you wanna hold her?â your question surprised Carmy. He thought briefly before slowly nodding, âOkay⊠so Hailey, this is one of Mommyâs friends?â you stopped yourself and sighed. âThatâs a lie⊠this is your DadâŠâÂ
Dad. Camy felt like his chest would explode as you spoke to Hailey. The word echoed in his head as he accepted Hailey in his arms. She looked up at him with curious eyes. âHi,â she softly greeted him as she reached up to touch Carmyâs face. He smiled at her.
âHi,â Carmy repeated softly, âIs-is that- do⊠do you like giraffes?âÂ
~~
You were supposed to go back to New York the day after tomorrow; you stared up at the ceiling that night. As tired as you were, you couldnât turn your brain off. Guilt, shame, regret⊠you shouldâve told Carmy you were pregnant. What did he even mean by âdo the right thingâ? Would he have abandoned Mikeyâs restaurant and come back to New York? Would the two of you gotten back together? Haileyâs life wouldâve been so different if heâd been there from the start. You sighed, reached for your phone from the side table, and quickly scrolled to Carmyâs contact. You paused for a moment; it was almost 2 in the morning. You knew he was probably still awake.
âHey- you okay?â Carmy answered on the first ring. âYeah- canât sleep⊠Iâm due back in New York⊠I donât know if I got the principal job⊠what do we do?â your voice quivered as you softly spoke into the phone. âI donât know⊠I know Iâve only met Hailey once, but I love her. I canât walk away from her.âÂ
âAre you watching that Italian grandma cooking show?â Carmy chuckled at your question, âYeah⊠canât sleep.â the line was quiet momentarily, âHailey and I used to watch it when she was colic.âÂ
âSheâs my kid.â Carmy chuckled. You nodded, knowing he couldnât see you through the phone. You rolled onto your side and watched Hailey sleep. She was sprawled out, taking up most of the bed with her little body. âIf I get this job and move out here permanently, do you want to do a shared custody thing? I guess it could start with the three of us, and then you can have more individual time with herâŠâ
âAre you seeing anyone?â Carmy asked, ignoring the custody question entirely. âWhat do you think? Iâm workinâ two jobs and have a two-year-old.â you laughed. Carmy smiled and pushed a hand through his hair, âOkay⊠guess I just wanted to know if- I know you probably donât wanna get back together, but I donât know⊠I was talkinâ to my therapist earlier. He gave some perspective- I wasnât the man you deserved. I treated you like fuckinâ shit, and Iâve spent the last two years of my life trying to forget about you and move on with my life and create something Mikey would be proud of⊠I regret how we ended and hate myself for not being involved in Haileyâs life. When I was holding her and-and she was tellinâ that story about her giraffe⊠I canât go back to not being in her life.â Carmy admitted. âUh- if you get that job and move out here, thereâs an empty two-bedroom in my building. This isnât me sayinâ we should move in together or anything, but um, if weâre in the same building, I can help with Hailey more and make that a little easier on ya and get to know her- what do you think?âÂ
âWow⊠umâŠâ you swallowed as thoughts raced through your head, âNo pressure. If you stay in New York, I can visit- maybe⊠maybe move back? I havenât really thought about it, but I want to be in Haileyâs life.â Carmy sputtered. âUh- yeah⊠yeah. Even if I get the job out here, I still have to go back to New York to put in my two-week notice and talk to my landlord and just- just a lot of stuffâŠâÂ
âI didnât scare you off, did I?â Carmy awkwardly laughed, âNo. I mean- we wonât get back together just because we have a kid. But Iâm open to you being in Haileyâs life.âÂ
~~
âYouâre fuckinâ crazy.â Richie coldly said as he helped carry boxes upstairs. Carmy rolled his eyes, opting to ignore him. âCarmen, are you even sure sheâs your kid?âÂ
âWill you shut the fuck up? Hailey is my daughter. I donât need a test to prove it.â Carmy defended as he dropped a box on the floor of your new apartment. Youâd gotten the principal position and moved to Chicago. With help from Danny and Richie, today was the day you and Hailey were officially moving out of Dannyâs guest room and into the two-bedroom apartment across the hall from Carmyâs place.
âYou didnât say the empty apartment was directly across the hall from you.â you laughed as you entered the apartment. You noticed the tension between Richie and Carmy; your arrival in Chicago surprised the Berzatto family. While you and Carmy were together, youâd never been formally introduced to any of his family. Natalie and Pete welcomed you with open arms. She was happy to be an aunt and to see Carmy happy. Richie and Donna, on the other hand, were apprehensive about your presence in Carmyâs life.Â
Carmy shrugged. âItâs not a problem, is it?â He tried to be nonchalant and keep his flirty tone more subdued, but everyone saw through it. Richie rolled his eyes and went back out to the moving van.
âCarm.â
âI just wanna be close by, not the worst thing in the world.â Carmy defended himself. You shook your head and took a box into Haileyâs bedroom. Carmy watched you walk away, swallowing softly when his eyes landed on your butt. He shook his head and walked across the hall. He entered his apartment to see Suzie sitting on the floor with Hailey.Â
âHey.â Suzie smiled when she noticed Carmy standing by the door. Hailey looked up and happily squealed. You and Hailey had been in Chicago for a couple of weeks, and Carmy was really trying to see Hailey as often as he could.
Carmy sat on the floor by Suzie while Hailey pushed herself off the floor to sit on his lap. He smiled and hugged her loosely, saying, âHi, baby girl.â Hailey cuddled into his chest, making his heart flutter.Â
Youâd finished wrangling the boxes and wandered out of your apartment and across the hall to Carmyâs. You were going to ask if he was hungry but stopped when you saw Carmy leaning against the couch, cradling a sleeping Hailey, âAnd then you blanch the greens- thatâs when you boil or steam something and immediately dip it in ice water. Your Momma used to hate greens, so one day, I made her this recipe, and she said it was the most delicious thing sheâd ever tasted.âÂ
âI think sheâs asleep,â you commented as you approached the couch. Carmy looked up at you and smiled.
âShe is⊠I just wanted to finish reading this recipe to her.â Carmy shrugged, placing the book on the coffee table. You sat next to Carmy on the floor and put your head on Carmyâs shoulder as you watched Haileyâs chest rise and fall.Â
âWhereâd Suzie go?â you asked, scooting closer to Carmy. You noticed him swallow nervously before explaining she had to go to work. âYouâre good with her,â you commented, referring to how Carmy cradled Hailey protectively.
âYou think so?â Carmy asked as he shifted his attention to you.
You nodded, âYouâre a natural.âÂ
Carmy scoffed, âI wouldnât say Iâm a natural⊠I just wanna make up for lost time.â you nodded again and snaked an arm around Carmyâs waist. He tensed at the feeling and sat straighter.
âWell, youâre doinâ great.â
~~
âDaddy!â Hailey happily squealed as Carmy walked into your apartment that morning. He smiled and put the bag heâd been carrying on the counter as he closed the front door with his foot.Â
âHi, baby girl.â he leaned down to pick her up. Hailey hugged him tightly and started explaining a dream sheâd had. Carmy smiled and bounced her on his hip. He listened contently as he went into the kitchen. You heard the commotion from your bedroom. You smiled as Carmyâs voice carried through your askew bedroom door. As you finished getting ready for work, you noticed the conversation between Hailey and Carmy. It had been about six months since youâd moved to Chicago, and Carmy was holding on to his promise to be involved in Haileyâs life. Watching your daughter fall in love with him was touching. He was so calm around her and interested in everything she said.
When you left your bedroom, you saw Carmy and Hailey sitting at the table. She was happily munching on a bowl of cereal, and Carmy sat back, drinking a cup of coffee. âHey Carmy, hi sugar cookie.â you smiled as you leaned in to kiss Haileyâs cheek. She squealed, making you smile before kissing her other cheek.
âDaddy, kiss too!â Hailey demanded, pointing to Carmy.Â
âYou want Daddy to kiss your cheek, too?â you asked, resting your chin on her head.Â
âNo! Daddy kiss too!â Hailey demanded again, âMomma, kiss Daddy too!â
You looked at Carmy and saw a blush creeping up his cheeks. âDo you think Daddy wants a kiss, too?â Hailey squealed and pointed at Carmy again. You nodded and kissed the top of her head before moving over to kiss his cheek. Hailey giggled and went back to eating her cereal. Carmy swallowed softly and quickly finished his coffee before abruptly standing up to rinse out his coffee cup. You waited a second before joining him in the kitchen. âSorry, was that weird?â
Carmy shook his head, âNo, it was okay, but⊠can Daddy have a real kiss sometime?âÂ
âI think that can be arranged.â you chimed nonchalantly.Â
âCan Daddy take you out sometime?âÂ
âOnly if you stop referring to yourself as Daddy.â you laughed as you playfully pushed his shoulder.Â
âDeal.â

Over the Limit - pt.iv
jenna ortega x female reader
part i | part ii | part iii | part iv | part v | part vi
summary: You and Jenna each reflect on your own choices and the growing tensions between you both. Torn between loyalty, responsibility, and personal longing, what does this growing conflict mean for the future of your alliance?
word count: 12.8k
ââââ
"So, victory sex?" Hunter teased, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"Victory sex?" You echoed, genuinely confused. "With who?"
"Who else? Your little Viper girl," he replied, rolling his eyes like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
After dropping Jenna off at home, you'd shot Hunter a quick text, asking if he wanted to come over. After the whirlwind of the race, and the intense feelings stirred up by Jenna, you needed someone to debrief withâsomeone who knew about the tangled situation you'd gotten yourself into. Fortunately, your mom didn't know Hunter was part of the Sinners, so he was in the clear to hang out without raising any suspicions.
"Come on, Hunter, I barely know the girl."
"Doesn't seem that way to me," he shrugs, taking a seat on your couch and kicking his feet up onto the coffee table. "You let her wear your jacket, didn't you?"
Did everyone see that?
You roll your eyes and flop down beside him, letting out a tired sigh. "That doesn't mean anything."
"Uh-huh. Whatever you say." Hunter smirks, but his teasing tone amplifies after a beat. "But there's no way you didn't feel Racer's High after winning."
You didn't need him to define Racer's High. You knew he was referring to that primal, raunchy, adrenaline rush of a feeling that overtook you once you won the race a few hours ago. You shudder remembering how much you yearned for Jenna in that moment.
"So, how are you feeling about it all? The race, the attention... her?"
You hesitate, considering how much to say. You trust Hunterâhe's the only one in the crew you can really open up to, but you're also not ready to dive into the whole Jenna situation. Not with everything going on, especially since you're not sure how deep things go with Percy and this "Ghost Smoke" deal.
"I don't know," you finally say, running a hand through your hair. "The race was wild. Winning felt... intense. I get why people get hooked on that feeling."
Hunter raises an eyebrow. "And?"
"And... I can't shake the feeling that there's more to this. Like, there's this whole side to racing I'm not seeing."
He leans forward, elbows resting on his knees, watching you carefully. "What do you mean?"
You glance at him, trying to gauge how much you can say without tipping too much of your hand. "I don't know, man. I've been hearing thingsâwhispers about this new stuff called Ghost Smoke floating around Brimstone. You heard anything about that?"
Hunter's eyes narrow, and for a second, you think maybe you've pushed too far. But then he exhales slowly. "I've heard the name. It's bad news, Y/n. Real bad. That shit's spreading fast, and people are already getting hooked. Some of the younger guys are sniffing around for it. Why are you asking?"
You shrug, trying to play it cool. "Just heard it mentioned. Thought it might be connected to some of the things I've been noticing. You don't think the Vipers are involved, do you?"
Hunter goes quiet, his face unreadable. Then he leans back, crossing his arms. "I don't know, and I'm not looking to find out. You shouldn't either. Percy's been getting into things outside of racing, and if Ghost Smoke's part of that, it's not something you or anyone else in the crew wants to be tangled up in."
You nod, though his answer doesn't satisfy you. Not because you don't believe himâbut because you have this sinking feeling that the situation is bigger than either of you realize.
The conversation shifts after that, and the rest of the night passes with more casual banter. But the unease never fully leaves your mind.
"Looks like Madison's got a thing for you."
You raise an eyebrow, laughing lightly. "Mikey? That girl's never even cracked a smile at me. Pretty sure she barely tolerates me."
Hunter shrugs, smirking. "Nah, trust me. She was asking about you the other day in the garage."
Your brow furrows slightly. Was it because of what I asked about Percy? A small part of you wonders if Madison's caught onto your suspicions.
"And even during the Viper and Raven races, she was giving you these weird looks."
"What does that even mean, Hunter?" You roll your eyes, half-amused, half-worried.
He chuckles, clearly enjoying this too much. "Hell if I know, but winning that race definitely got you on some people's radar."
Maybe at one point, being on the radar of a few girls would've mattered to you, but not anymore.
ââââ
While Hunter crashed on the couch, you spent the entire night tossing and turning in bed. If someone had told you a month ago that you'd be neck-deep in street races and shady dealingsâall for the sake of a girlâyou would have called them insane.
When dawn finally broke, you shuffled out of bed and headed into the kitchen, finding Hunter gone and your mom brewing a fresh pot of coffee.
"Morning, Mom," you yawn, stretching your arms out. "Did Hunter leave already?"
"You just missed him. He said he'd be back later," she replies with a gentle smile.
You hum in response, pouring yourself a cup of coffee, savoring the warmth. It was in these quiet, mundane moments that you hated the path you were on more than anything. Between the mess with Jenna, the unpredictability with Percy, and the weight of secrets and family legacies, you sometimes wished you could just be normalânot tangled up in rivalries or trying to make sense of feelings you didn't dare admit.
"You've changed," your mother's voice broke you out of your thoughts, catching you mid-sip.
"Changed?" You raise a brow, joining her at the dining table. "What do you mean?"
She sighs, studying you with a mix of curiosity and concern. "You seem... happier in some ways but also more stressed. Something's weighing on you."
You stare down at your coffee, catching your own reflection in its dark surface, letting your mother's words sink in. Of course she'd notice something differentâyou're her child. But she's right; you have changed. And now, in this rare quiet moment in the chaos your life has become over the past month, you're finally realizing just how much. You've changed so damn muchâand the thought terrifies you, especially because you can't even pinpoint when it happened.
Or you do. And that was the scary part.
A month ago Anton told you to find what's your purpose, your drive. What makes your heart race. What's worth risking everything for.
But you'd been so careful, you tell yourself. You abandoned her the first night you met, didn't even share your nameâbut now, she's got far more than just a name. She's got you feeding her intel, leading her through Brimstone like her own personal guide, pulling you deeper into a world you swore you'd keep at arm's length.
When did it happen? When did you start dropping her home, buying each other jackets, eating ice cream togetherâand, hell, when did you start racing? Racing, something you'd vowed never to do. And now here you are, about to walk into a private meeting that likely involves drug lords fueling Brimstone's biggest epidemicâall because she needs leverage on Percy. Leverage to protect herself from some mystery he's holding over her, something she still won't tell you.
You try to rationalize. She's got leverage on you, too. She's got footage of you stealing her dad's car. But deep down, you know she'd only pulled that card to hook you in. She wouldn't actually use it. You knew that. You knew her.
Exceptâyou didn't. You didn't really know a damn thing about this girl, yet here you are, throwing caution to the wind for her. Risking everything for her. Breaking your own rules, doing things you'd avoided for the past twenty years...all because of her. And all way too fast.
Maybe it's because you're finally sitting in front of your mom, and to her, you'll always be her little girl. And facing her now, all you can see is the woman who once opened the door to find cops there, telling her that her husband, the father of her nine-year-old kid, was dead. You remember watching her piece together her shattered heart, all while carrying the weight of resentment for the racing that took him. And now, somehow, you're part of it too. How could you put her through this?
"Y/n?"
Your mom's voice snaps you out of your thoughts, and you lift your gaze from your coffee to her face.
"I've been calling your name for a while now. What the hell is going on with you kid?" she asks concerned.
Everything you wished you could tell her was everything you couldn't. Everything she warned you to stay away from.
"Look I know I haven't been the best mom," she sighs. "But I did it because I care. I'm strict because I know how quickly things can go south in this shithole of a town."
"You're not a bad mom, stopâ"
"I can tell there's something on your mind, I don't know if it's good or bad. But I want to know Y/n/n."
Just as you were about to respond your phone pinged and of course it was Jenna.
Hey Oil spillage, just got news that the meeting moved. It's on Friday at 10p.m. now.
Wonderful news. After the realizations you just had, you were not ready to face Jenna again. In fact you would rather anything but see her. And now you can avoid her for six more days. Without replying to her message, you turn off your phone and turn your attention to your mom.
"I guess I've just been thinking about my future and what that looks like." You decide to open up a little, seeing no apparent harm.
Your mom nods slowly, her brow furrowing slightly as she absorbs your words. "And I also have to consider the fact that we're in Brimstone," you add, your voice dropping a notch.
She looks at you intently, searching your face for clues. "I get that this place can feel limiting, Y/n. But remember, it doesn't have to define you. You have the power to change your path."
You take a sip of your coffee, contemplating her words. "It's just...sometimes it feels like I'm caught between what I want and what I should be doing."
"And what do you want?"
"I don't know! I don't know what I want," you finish, softer now.
She squints, registering the tension in your voice. "Then, what do you think you should be doing?"
Racing. The Club. The Sinners.
But you can't say that. Not to your anti-racing mom, but clearly your face says it for you.
"Y/n," she sighs. "There's no place for you in that life."
"You don't understand, Mom! It's easy on paper to say 'stay away.' But people talk. I'm the daughter of a founding member; they expect me to be part of this."
"And how exactly are you hearing all this talk?" she asks, voice tinged with sass. "I thought I told you to stay away from Anton and that whole club."
"I am!" you lie. "But people at the warehouse still talk," you lie again. "Is working in a warehouse really what you want for me? For the rest of my life?"
"If it keeps you out of that club, then yes, a thousand times over. That club killed your father. I don't get your fascination with it!"
"Maybe I like cars! Maybe I want to feel close to him by doing something that mattered to him. You never even talk about him," you say heatedly, pushing yourself back from the table.
"Sit back down," she says, rubbing her temples.
You sit, your frustration simmering.
Your mom's eyes, usually a fortress, softened with a sigh. "You're right, I don't talk about him much. Not because he wasn't worth it, but because it's painful. But let me tell you something about your dad, something I should've told you sooner."
A shadow of confusion crossed your face.
"He was a founder, sure," she admitted, a bitter smile playing at her lips. "One of the Y/l/n brothers who started this whole thing. But that's not the part of the story that matters. Not the part that should define how you see racing."
Your heart stilled, anticipation prickling at your skin. "What do you mean, then? What's the part I'm missing?"
Her eyes narrowed slightly, focusing on a memory only she could see. "Your dad wanted out."
The weight of her words hung between you, more jarring than the rumble of any engine. The idea of your fatherâthe man who had seemingly built his entire world around speed, thrill, and the camaraderie of the clubâwanting to leave felt impossible.
"What do you mean, 'out'?" you asked, the question barely a whisper.
She sighed, running a hand over her tired face. "He didn't start the club for the glory, Y/n. Not for the rush or to become some legend everyone would talk about. He did it because he felt trapped, and for a while, racing felt like freedom. But when things got bigger, more dangerous... he saw where it was heading. He knew it wasn't sustainable. He wanted out before it swallowed him whole."
You stared at her, trying to process this new version of the man you thought you knew. The stories you'd grown up on were all about victory, triumph, the unmatched skills of your father and the empire he helped build. But no one talked about the nights he lay awake, second-guessing the choices that led him there.
"Why didn't he leave, then?"
Her eyes glistened with a pain that seemed older than time, a sorrow she'd carried long. "He did, or... he was supposed to. That last raceâthe one that took him from usâit was meant to be his farewell. He promised me it would be the last time, that after that night, we would start over, somewhere far away from all of this."
You felt like the ground beneath you had shifted. The race that defined so much of your past, the race whispered about in awe and griefâit had been an ending, but not the kind you ever imagined.
"He was going to walk away?" you asked, your own voice thick with disbelief.
Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears, the weight of old promises and lost dreams shining in their depths. "Yes," she whispered, a tear finally breaking free and rolling down her cheek. "He was tired of what it had becomeâthe danger, the violence, the way it devoured everything good. He wanted out for you, for us. But fate had other plans."
You looked at her, seeing not just your mother but a woman who had lost everything for the sake of someone else's ambition. The image of your fatherâlegendary racer, fearless leaderâbegan to fracture, replaced by the vision of a man who was trapped, fighting for freedom that never came.
"And now," she said, drawing a shaky breath, "you have to decide if you're going to chase his ghost, or choose a different path."
Suddenly, the image of racing, of the thrill that had always called to you, shifted. It wasn't just the adrenaline, the wind whipping past and the engine's roar. It was what lay beneathâthe fear, the drive to outrun something that couldn't be escaped.
"So, what does that mean for me?" you asked quietly.
Her fingers tightened around her cup, eyes meeting yours with quiet intensity. "It means you decide if racing is freedom or a cage. For your dad, it became both. You don't owe this club anything."
You sat back, absorbing the truth. Racing had always felt like destiny, an inheritance carved into the fabric of who you were. But now, for the first time, it seemed less like a birthright and more like a choiceâa choice you'd have to make on your own terms.
"Do you ever... want to get out of here?" you ask, almost too quietly, afraid of the answer. "Out of Brimstone?"
A question you should've asked your mother years ago, but is only leaving you now.
She raises her eyebrows, surprised by the question. It lingers in the air between you for a moment before she sighs, looking out the window to the tired streets beyond. "Sometimes," she says finally. "Sometimes I think about it, yeah. The way this place drags people in, holds them down... It scares me for you, Y/n. I don't want you trapped here. I want you to have options, a life that's bigger than this town."
"Then why do you stay?" you press, voice softer now.
A flicker of something unreadable crosses her face. "It's complicated," she says, her voice tinged with a weariness you hadn't noticed before. "Your father was here. This was where we met, built our lives, and after he... after everything, I felt like leaving would be... giving up on him. Like walking away from the one thing he was part of."
"But you don't owe this place anything," you say, echoing her earlier words back to her. "If it's just a memory keeping you here, then... maybe we both deserve better."
She nods slowly, her gaze returning to you, eyes softer, more vulnerable than you've seen in a while. "Maybe we do," she admits, voice barely a whisper. She makes a gesture with her hand of tapping a cigarette into an ash trayâa habit you noticed since you were a child. Something she does out of nervousness.
For the first time, it feels like you're seeing eye-to-eye, both carrying parts of the same burdenâone that isn't really yours to carry. You've both been holding on, afraid of what letting go might mean.
You never thought you had a bad relationship with your mom. You both just worked and worked, trying to make a life for each other. Survival mode felt like autopilotâthere was no time for bonding or deep conversations. Showing care meant keeping each other going, making sure you both were okay. Talking like this felt foreign, almost like a new skill you were both trying to learn. You wonder what prompted it, this sudden need to speak the things you both usually left unsaid
"So Hunter told me you had a girlfriendâ"
You face palm, "for fuck sakes."
ââââ
"Dude you told my mom I have a girlfriend?"
"She asked me if there was anyone special in your life!" He puts his hands up defensively.
You groan, feeling a wave of annoyance wash over you. What the hell are you supposed to tell your mom if she asks about this again? The image of her face pops into your mind. "Hey Mom, here's my supposed girlfriend I met at a race I snuck off to behind your back. Don't worry, she's not a Sinnerâshe's a Viper, though."
Luckily, Hunter had walked in earlier from whatever he'd been up to that morning, sparing you from answering your mom's question on the spot. Now, all you have to do is figure out what to say when she inevitably brings it up again.
It's still morning as you both settle into your room, falling into the familiar rhythm of your routine. You sprawl on your bed while he spins around in your chair, his energy infectious. Hunter dives into the latest gossip, animatedly sharing every detail, and you find yourself drifting in and out of his words, letting the sound of his voice wash over you.
You phone then starts ringing, and his voice suddenly stops. You glance at the screen, and let out a heavy sigh. You've really got to change her contact name.
"Who is it?" Hunter asks, hopping off the chair and leaning closer to your phone.
"Is she not your fave Viper anymore?" He jokes, sitting at the foot of your bed. "Come on, pick it up!"
You hesitate, staring at the screen as the name blinks back at you. The tension in the room shifts, Hunter's playful smirk fading as he senses your reluctance.
"Seriously? You're just going to let it ring?"
You shake your head, biting your lip. "IâI can't, Hunter. What do I even say?"
He leans forward, a look of mock seriousness on his face. "How about, 'Hey, Jenna, what's up? Oh me? I'm just living my perfectly normal lifeâdefinitely not spiraling into an identity crisis because of you?"
You roll your eyes but can't help the smile that threatens to break through. "You're ridiculous."
"Yeah, but you know I'm right," he insists, nudging your foot with his. "Just answer it! What's the worst that could happen?"
A million thoughts race through your mind, each one heavier than the last. You're scared of what her voice will bring upâthe memories, the feelings, the undeniable shift in your life since you met her. "What if she wants to see me again?"
"Uh, hello?" he raises a brow, giving you a look. "Isn't that the best-case scenario? Getting cozy with your fine, rich Summer Valley girl?"
You hesitate again, and the ringing seems to grow louder. Hunter's eyes are wide, filled with mischief and encouragement. "Come on! Just answer it already!"
"Huh, looks like I can't anymore, the ringing stopped," you smile, relieved that the ringing was cut short.
Hunter's expression shifts from playful to incredulous. "What the fuck, man? Why didn't you answer?"
You shrug, but inside, a storm of emotions brews, each thought heavier than the last. Jenna represents everything you're trying to escape, and yet everything you're drawn toward. She's the pull of a world that's dangerous, one you've seen tear lives apartâyour life apart. And every second you spend with her, it feels like you're slipping further down a path you might not come back from.
You can't let that happen.
"Because I can't keep doing this," you say, the words coming out softer than you'd intended. Each moment with her feels like a step away from the life you once knew, from the version of yourself that kept your family safe. You're drawn to Jenna, but she's also a stark reminder of how much you've changed, of how close you're getting to undoing everything your mom worked so hard to protect, everything your father was trying to leave.
She makes you feel alive in ways you haven't felt in years. But that feeling comes with a vulnerability you're not sure you can handle. If you keep this up, you'll lose more than just yourselfâyou'll risk letting down the family that depended on you to be the strong one. The thought sends a cold chill through you.
"I don't think I'm doing the right thing, Hunter."
Hunter lets out a quiet sigh, watching you closely. "You were doing alright last night. What's got you all worked up now?"
You hesitate, the weight of it clawing at you. Saying it out loud feels like crossing a line you can't come back from. "Things just... feel different," you say, voice barely audible. "I've been doing things I never thought I would, getting in deeper than I should. I don't even recognize myself anymore."
Hunter frowns, studying you. "You're not a completely different person just because you're out there racing. Isn't this what you wanted?"
"It's not just about racing." You rub your face, trying to calm the frustration simmering beneath the surface. "Jenna's got this... hold over me. She's made me cross lines I thought I'd never touch. She's tied up in a world I swore I'd stay away from."
Hunter's gaze softens, like he's trying to understand. "Maybe she's just got you seeing things differently. Doesn't mean you're losing yourself."
But that's the problemâyou can feel yourself losing your grip, and the need to push her away rises, desperate, like an instinct. You know that the closer you get to Jenna, the deeper you risk sinking into something that could destroy you both. "Maybe it's better if I keep my distance," you murmur, more to yourself than to him. "I can't let this go any further. She's in the Vipers, and that's not a world I can afford to be part of."
Hunter shakes his head, not fully understanding. "So you're just going to shut her out? Because of some fear? Even if she hasn't been around long, what you two haveâit's something realâ"
"No." You cut him off, a hint of desperation in your tone. "What I have with her isn't real. Not really. We just thought... we could help each other. But that's all it is."
Even as you say it, though, you can feel the lie settle in your chest, heavier than you expected.
Hunter doesn't know the whole story with Jenna and Percy, or how you got roped into digging up dirt on him. You bite your tongue, stopping yourself from saying too much. A part of you wishes you could tell him, thoughâbecause if he knew you were supposedly getting mixed up in things like Ghost Smoke, he'd be the first one pushing you to cut Jenna out of your life for good.
"Alright, let me ask you this," he says, leaning forward. "You've had your first race, you were technically a Sinner. But from what you're saying, it sounds like you've made up your mind. So, whatâyou're sticking to your car hijacking ways, no racing, right?"
You hesitateâeven after everything your mom has told you today, and he catches it.
"There's still a part of you that wants it, Y/n. You're not sure, and that's okay. This isn't about you changing; it's about something else. Unless you can look me in the eye and say you're completely done with this racing stuff, I don't see why you have to push her away."
You don't know why either. Maybe this wasn't about racing entirely and how much you've changed. But it feels foolish now to drag yourself deeper into this world after learning your dad died trying to leave it. Point is, you need to step back before you lose yourself completely.
And as much as it hurts to admit, that might mean losing the girl who makes your heart race. Looks like you found what makes your heart race, but not what's worth risking everything for.

"So, should I throw the microwave at your head now or later?"
Jenna tears her gaze away from her phone, frowning at her sister. "What are you even talking about, Aliyah?"
Aliyah grins, enjoying the confusion on her sister's face. "You don't remember? You told me ages ago that if you ever fell for someone againâor got caught waiting on a textâI should throw a microwave at your head."
Jenna sighs, the memory of that ridiculous pact making her groan. "Yeah, well... Waitâhold on. I am not falling for anybody!"
Aliyah raises an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Uh-huh. Says the girl who's been glued to her phone all day waiting on a text. Sounds exactly like someone not falling for anybody."
Jenna scoffs, rolling her eyes, but she can't hide the faint blush creeping up her cheeks. "I'm just... checking my messages. It's not that deep."
Aliyah chuckles. "Right. Not that deep. Just let me know when to start unplugging the microwave."
The older of the two shakes her head, a small smile tugging at her lips despite herself. "You're so dramatic."
"I just know you too well. Face it, sisâyou're hooked."
Jenna scoffs, though her expression softens. "It's... complicated," she admits quietly, her fingers grazing the edge of her phone. "She'sâ" She stops, catching herself. She's. But she's not about to explain all that to Aliyah.
"Complicated?" Aliyah finishes, feigning shock. "You? In something complicated? Never."
"Okay, fine, enough!" Jenna laughs, trying to brush off her nerves. But her sister's words stick with her. She can't ignore the fact that she's thinking about her way more than she should be. And she knows all too well that if Percy found out, it would be a whole new problem.
Aliyah flops onto the bed, scrolling through her phone with a satisfied grin, fully aware that she's already planted the seed.
The Viper tries to focus on something else, anything else, but her mind keeps drifting back. "You're hooked."
Aliyah tilts her head, watching Jenna with a knowing look. "You don't even deny it. Whoever this person is, they've got you in knots."
Jenna rolls her eyes, trying to dismiss it, but the truth settles heavily in her chest. "It's not like that," she says, almost to herself. "It can't be."
Aliyah raises an eyebrow. "Why not? Because of Dad? Or because of that sleaze Percy?"
Jenna's jaw tightens at the mention of the men, and she looks away, fighting the urge to share too much about her mystery Brimstone girl. "Let's just say... it's not as simple as having someone in your life and calling it a day," she says finally.
Aliyah's playful demeanor fades a bit, sensing the weight in Jenna's voice. "Jenna... are you in some kind of trouble?"
For a moment, Jenna considers coming clean, but she shakes her head, forcing a smile. "When am I not in trouble?"
Aliyah's smile falters slightly, guilt seeping through her playful demeanor. She shifts in her seat, Jenna wouldn't even know this kind of trouble if it weren't for her.
Jenna catches the look in her sister's eyes and instantly regrets her words.
"Aliyah, don't," she says softly, the tension in the room shifting. "You know I don't blame you."
"I know, but I can't help feeling responsible," Aliyah whispers, looking down at her hands. The unspoken realityâthat Jenna's entanglement with the Vipers was to shield Aliyahâlingered between them, heavier than any words.
"Dad shouldn't have made youâ"
Jenna reaches out, squeezing her sister's hand. "We're in this together, remember? Whatever happens, I'm the one who chose to stay."
Aliyah looks up, eyes glistening with unshed tears. "But it's not fair. You shouldn't have to carry this for me."
Jenna offers a small, sad smile. "Family isn't about fair. It's about being there, no matter what."
Aliyah's shoulders slump as she bites her lower lip, a familiar crease forming on her brow. The guilt that's been gnawing at her shows clearly in her eyes, and Jenna's heart clenches at the sight.
"I hate this," Aliyah whispers, her voice wavering. "Every time you walk out that door, I keep wondering if you're coming back. And it's because of me."
Jenna's tough facade cracks, and she leans forward, wrapping an arm around Aliyah's shoulders. "Hey, don't go there," she murmurs. The words are steady, meant to reassure, but the tightness in her chest betrays her. For a moment, she lets herself imagine a life free of this cycleâa life where neither of them has to look over their shoulder.
"I won't be stuck for long," Jenna finally admits, a determined edge creeping into her voice. She pulls back just enough to look Aliyah in the eyes, hoping to pass on some of that conviction. "I'm working on something, alright? This isn't forever."
Aliyah searches Jenna's face, her eyes widening with hope and hints of disbelief. "You mean it?"
Jenna nods, "I mean it. I promise."
Suddenly the sadness in Aliyah's expression is replaced with a smirk, "Does she have anything to do with it?" she asks glancing at her sister's phone.
"Don't change the subject," Jenna says, trying to sound stern but unable to keep the corner of her mouth from quirking up.
Aliyah's smirk grows, the earlier heaviness giving way to something warmer, more familiar. "I knew it. Your mystery girl isn't just another risk, is she?"
Jenna rolls her eyes but can't fully suppress a small, reluctant smile. "It's complicated, Ali. She's... well, she's a lot more than I expected."
Probably the biggest risk of all, Jenna thought
Aliyah's smirk softens into a genuine smile. "Good. You deserve more than this mess, Jen."
Jenna's heart tightens at her sister's words. "Yeah," she whispers, more to herself than to Aliyah. "Maybe I do."
Suddenly an idea stirs into the younger Ortega's mind. In a swift motion, her hand darts out and snatches Jenna's phone from the bed. Before Jenna can fully process what's happening, Aliyah is already on her feet, eyes dancing with mischief as she clutches the phone to her chest like a prize.
"Aliyah!" Jenna's voice sharpens "Seriously? Hand it over."
Aliyah tilts her head playfully, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Relax, big sister. Just checking if your mystery girl left a love note or two."
Jenna takes a step forward, trying to maintain her composure as she reaches out for the phone. "I mean it, Ali. Give. It. Back."
Aliyah shifts her weight, effortlessly dodging Jenna's reach as she chuckles. Taking advantage of the height, she holds the phone above her head, reading the chat messages. "Greaser? Pet names already?"
"Aliyah."
"Left on read for almost three hours? And here I thought you had game."
"I don't like her."
"Sure you don't," Aliyah teases, tapping the screen. "Let's see if your non-existent feelings show up when Iâ"
Before she can finish, the familiar ringing tone starts, and Jenna's heart drops. Aliyah's eyes widen with mock surprise. "Oops. Guess we'll see soon enough."
"Aliyah!" Jenna lunges, grabbing the phone from her sister's hand after the phone rang for a while. Without hesitation, she swiftly hits the end call button. The silence that follows crackles with tension as Jenna clutches the phone, her face flushed.
Aliyah bursts out laughing. "Wow, if that's not feelings, I don't know what is."
Jenna takes a steadying breath, unable to mask the way her pulse races. "It's not like that," she insists, more to herself than to her sister.
She couldn't help but wonder why you didn't answer your phone. You had more than enough time to answer the phone while it was ringing.
ââââ
Two days have passed since you left Jenna's call unanswered. The rhythmic clinking of tools filled the garage as you worked tirelessly on your latest projectâthe stolen Aston Martin. For the past two days, the garage had been your refuge, the metallic smell of oil offering a sense of your old routine amidst the chaos. In that span, you had buried yourself in work, starting early in the morning and ending late into the night, determined to keep your mind from straying.
You stepped back to study the Aston Martin, now wrapped in a deep green that gleamed under the fluorescent lights. The change from the initial black colour was supposed to help, to make the car feel less like a painful reminder of her. But as you ran your hand over the freshly smoothed surface, sighing at the ghost of memories it evoked, you realized that nothing had changed. No matter how much you worked, every inch of that car still spoke her name.
Your phone buzzed on the workbench, a sharp intrusion that pulled your attention. A name lit up the screenâJenna's. A message providing you the address of the meeting, nothing else. Seeing her message made your chest ache with a guilt you tried to ignore. You glanced at the glowing screen, your resolve wavering for a moment before you shoved the phone into a drawer, the metallic clang echoing in the small space.
Out of sight, out of mind.
As you smoothed out the last stubborn air pockets on the Aston Martin's fresh wrap, the sound of footsteps echoed in the garage. It was nearly 1 a.m. and no one should be around at this hour.
"Y/n?"
You turned at the familiar voice, eyes narrowing slightly before recognition softened your expression. "Mikey?"
She walked toward you, eyes curious as they swept over the car. "What are you doing here so late?" she asked, curiosity lacing her voice.
You shrugged, forcing a nonchalant tone. "Just working on a car. Needed the distraction. And you?"
Mikey tilted her head, not satisfied with the answer. "I felt like going for a drive. Thought I'd stop by first."
Her gaze shifted between you and the green Aston Martin, catching the tension in the air.
"This is the car you rolled up in with your girl right? What was on the surveillance?"
Ahh yes my girl. Now you need to come up with a believable break up story for the crew.
You clenched your jaw at her question, the mention of Jenna sending a pang through your chest. "Uh, yeah," you muttered, hoping to keep the conversation brief. Mikey's sharp intuition wasn't something to underestimate.
"Trouble in paradise?"
You sigh, "something like that, I don't really want to talk about it."
Mikey nods carefully, and deliberates her next words before speaking, "Did you want to join me on my drivâ
"Okay I brought Chinese!" Hunter's voice booms through the garage.
Hunter set the bags down on a nearby workbench, the crinkling of paper and the scent of takeout breaking the heavy silence. He glanced between you and Mikey, sensing the charged atmosphere and shooting you a raised brow.
"Am I interrupting something?" Hunter asked, his usual playful tone laced with curiosity as he tossed a napkin your way.
You caught it mid-air, forcing a smirk to hide the knot in your chest. "Just working late," you replied, shrugging as if that explained everything.
Mikey's expression softened, the slight edge from moments ago replaced with a grin. "Nope, you're just in time. I was about to drag Y/n out for a drive," she said, her voice lighter now, as if trying to pull you into an easier conversation.
Hunter's brows lifted. "Oh? That's a miracle. She's been glued to that car for the last 48 hours" he teased, nudging your arm.
The mention of the past few days made your stomach tighten. You hadn't told Hunter or anyone else why you'd been so buried in work. The truth was, it kept you from thinking about Jenna. The guilt, the confusionâit all seemed simpler when muffled under the sound of engines and the smell of oil.
Mikey leaned against the Aston Martin, folding her arms. "Come on, you've been cooped up in here long enough. What's a quick drive gonna hurt?"
Before you could answer, Hunter grabbed a takeout container and tossed another to you. "Food first, you too Mikey. And then drive second," he said with a grin. "Don't think we'll let you skip out on both."
You took the container, a reluctant smile tugging at your lips. Maybe stepping away from the garageâand everything it representedâwould be good for you. Even if just for a moment.
You could tell a lot about a person from how they drove, and never in a million years did you think Mikey would be a careful driver. She would teeter on surpassing street limits, but was a relatively relaxed and smooth driver.
The car rolled through the night, the city gradually giving way to quieter roads framed by dark silhouettes of trees. A comfortable silence settled among the three of you, broken only by Hunter's occasional commentary and Mikey's bursts of laughter when he cracked a particularly absurd joke.
"Remember that time you tried to drive with only three wheels?" Hunter leaned forward from the back seat, his eyes dancing with mischief. "You swore it would work."
You chuckled despite yourself, shaking your head at the memory. "And you were the one who dared me to, you idiot."
Mikey laughed, the sound deep and genuine. "And you actually tried it? That's commitment."
"Or stupidity," Hunter added, and the three of you erupted into laughter that carried through the night, momentarily easing the tension that had wrapped itself around your chest for days.
The conversation meandered through old stories and lighthearted teasing as the car hummed smoothly down the open road. But then, in a pause between topics, Mikey glanced sideways at you, her gaze more serious. "So, do you plan on racing again anytime soon?"
The question hung in the air, a sudden shift in the atmosphere. Before you could respond, Hunter's smirk dropped. He leaned back in his seat, his voice more subdued. "Don't bother, Mads. She doesn't know."
Your eyes flicked to Mikey, watching her reaction. She didn't miss the slight hesitation in your expression, the way your hands clenched. Her brow furrowed, a mixture of concern and curiosity flashing across her face.
"Still figuring it out, huh?" she said softly. "If you haven't made up your mind yet and you're not already back on the track, it's probably a no."
You kept your gaze on the road, the rhythmic whoosh of the wind outside acting as a buffer for your thoughts. Mikey's insight stung more than you'd admit; she was right. Your lack of being back on the track had to mean something.
"Maybe," you said finally, offering no real answer. Hunter glanced between you and Mikey.
Mikey settled back in her seat, a subtle understanding flickering in her eyes as her expression softened. "Trust me," she said, her voice calm yet pointed. "Most racers, when they're trying to get something off their mind, they hit the streets and push their limits. But you? You're here, spending your nights working on a car. That says a lot about where you really want to be."
She was the first person to openly discourage you from racing, and you couldn't help but appreciate it. It felt different, almost liberatingâa break from the endless pressure to prove yourself. For once, someone saw the side of you that wasn't caught up in the thrill, and it was a relief.
But there was also that suspicious part of you. Mikey was close to Anton, and she knew how much Anton wanted you in the crew. Does she fear that you'll replace her spot in the club if you join? You brush off your intrusive thoughts and try to enjoy the rest of your drive.
ââââ
Two more days had passed since Jenna had sent the text with the updated meeting address, and the silence on the other end gnawed at her. She leaned against the balcony railing outside her room, eyes skimming the darkened city skyline in the distance each blinking light a reminder of how life pulsed and moved without pause.
The air was crisp, biting against her skin as she shivered, but it did nothing to numb the restless ache in her chest. She scrolled back through the last messages, the words on the screen staring back at her like a mockery of the certainty she'd once felt. It wasn't like you to go this long without responding, but then again what did she know about you? You were the definition of uncertainty, you couldn't figure your own shit out how could you help with hers. She should've seen the red flags for your ghosting tendencies from the first time you met. You had no reason to help her, there was no personal gain.
Aliyah's voice broke through her thoughts, calling from inside. "Jenna, you're doing it again."
Jenna blinked, tearing her gaze from the phone as Aliyah stepped out onto the balcony, eyes filled with concern.
"You're still thinking about her, aren't you?" Aliyah's tone was soft, not judgmental, but knowing.
Jenna sighed, slipping her phone into her pocket as if hiding it would erase the gnawing uncertainty. "I can't help it. Something's off. She's... pulling away, I can feel it."
Aliyah's expression shifted, guilt briefly clouding her features before she masked it with a small, encouraging smile. "Maybe she just needs time. You know how it isâthis life, this... chaos we're in. It's not easy."
Jenna met her sister's eyes, searching for reassurance that felt out of reach. "Yeah, maybe." But it wasn't enough. Aliyah didn't know the extent of your relationship. How you were going to help her get dirt on Percy. How you were her best bet.
Jenna had noticed for a while now that Percy was spending a lot more time in Brimstone, and that anything she could find would be found in that shady town.
"I saw the messages with her... something about a meeting? If she won't go with you, maybe I could?" Aliyah ventured, her tone eager but tentative.
Jenna's reaction was immediate, sharp. "Absolutely not. It's too dangerous."
Aliyah crossed her arms, a defiant glint in her eyes. "Come on, Jenna. It could be good to do something together for once."
"I'm serious, Aliyah. This isn't up for discussion. It's not safe," Jenna said, her voice firm, eyes blazing with protectiveness.
Aliyah lifted her chin, stubbornness radiating from her. "Too late. I don't care," she declared, turning on her heel and striding out before Jenna could argue.
"Aliyah, waitâ"
Jenna's phone pinged, jolting her from the tense silence that followed Aliyah's departure. For a split second, hope fluttered in her chestâa foolish, fragile thingâas she thought it might be you, breaking the days of silence that gnawed at her. But that hope quickly crumbled as she glanced at the screen.
It was from Percy.
Get yourself dolled up. Race tomorrow night. Be there. And you're on my arm. Look the part, don't embarrass me.
Jenna stared at the messages, her fingers itching to throw the phone across the room. He knew exactly how much he got under her skin and used it at every opportunity. And tonight was no different; he needed her there, not just as a racer, but as his accessory, some trophy to drape over his arm. Like she was at the Sinner race almost a month ago. It was a power move, one he'd pulled too many times, trying to keep her bound to him and his schemes.
Another ping. Don't even think about bailing. You know what happens when I'm not happy.
Jenna scoffed, fingers hovering over the keyboard. She could imagine Percy already preening in the mirror, smugly counting on her to show up, loyal and subservient as always. She could almost hear his oily tone, the mock concern he would flash when she hesitated, only to follow it with another thinly veiled threat. Percy loved to remind her how "lucky" she was that he'd given her a place in the Vipersâand what a shame it would be to lose it.
Jenna pushed away from the railing, the metallic chill of it seeping through her skin as she stood upright. The city lights looked dull now, swallowed by the storm brewing in her mind. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, a part of her tempted to tell Percy to shove it. But she knew better. Defying him could mean losing her only leverage, the tiny foothold she had in this game of shadows and lies.
With a sharp sigh, she typed out a reply, each keystroke feeling like a betrayal to herself.
Swallowing her disgust, she replied. Fine. I'll be there.
It was almost too easy to imagine the smirk that would be stretching across his face as he read her reply. She could feel her muscles tense, a quiet storm brewing beneath the surface, made worse by the fact that she'd lost any sign of you as a reprieve.
The phone slipped back into her pocket, but the weight of it pressed heavier than ever. The ache in her chest turned sharper, a reminder that even though she needed you, even though you were the one who was supposed to stand beside her, the silence between you spoke volumes. She just wished it wasn't so deafening.
Her eyes drifted to the hallway where Aliyah had disappeared moments before. She couldn't let her sister get pulled deeper into this mess, not when it felt like she was barely holding her own head above water. Yet, with every passing moment, the line between protecting the people she loved and keeping them at a distance grew blurrier. And Percy's summons felt like another shove towards the edge she was already teetering on.
Tomorrow night, she'd play the role. But Jenna swore, as she stared out at the city, that she would find a way out of this tangled mess.
Aliyah popped back into the room, her eyes bright but cautious as she took in Jenna's guarded stance. "Hey, so, the family's heading out to catch a movie right now. Are you coming?" Her tone was light, hopeful even, as if she already anticipated the answer but wanted to hear it anyway.
Jenna's gaze shifted to her sister, the corners of her mouth pulling into a tight line. The unspoken question lingered between them, though Aliyah's expression faltered as she awaited an answer.
"Is Dad going?" Jenna's voice came out sharper than she intended, and Aliyah's smile dimmed slightly.
"Yeah, he is," Aliyah admitted, her eyes darting down for a moment before meeting Jenna's again, trying to read her sister's mood.
Jenna's jaw tensed as she looked past Aliyah, the weight of years of resentment and disappointment pressing down like a vice. "Then no," she said flatly, the finality in her voice leaving no room for argument.
Aliyah's face fell, but she nodded, understanding etched into her features. She didn't push, didn't try to convince Jenna otherwise. The silence between them grew heavy, filled with all the things they weren't saying.
"Okay," Aliyah said softly, turning to leave. But before she stepped out, she cast one last glance over her shoulder, eyes shadowed with a mix of concern and quiet resignation. "Just... don't stay up all night, okay?"
Jenna forced a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Yeah. I won't."
But as Aliyah's footsteps faded down the hall, Jenna knew she was lying. The night was already hers to wrestle with, haunted by the things she couldn't change and the person she wished she didn't need.
ââââ
Before you knew it, Friday had arrivedâthe day of the meeting. The meeting you weren't planning to attend. You started your day the same way you had over the past few daysâin the garage.
You had been avoiding your phone all morning, afraid of what new messages might appear. Each buzz was a test of your resolve, a reminder that giving in would undo everything you had decided. You needed to stay strong, keep your distance, and not let the past pull you back in.
The project car in front of you demanded all your attention. You poured every ounce of focus into it, the sleek curves of the Aston Martin glistening under the dim garage lights. Tonight, you were determined to take it out for a spin, using it as an excuse to push out the stress gnawing at your mind.
The garage was unusually quiet, lacking its usual bustle. The regulars, including Anton and Mikey, were conspicuously absent, skipping their usual stops at the garage. You welcomed the peace; the last thing you needed was their relentless teasing about the car's dubious origins.
The sound of footsteps broke the monotony, and you didn't need to look up to know it was Hunter.
"Got a minute?" His voice came from the doorway, casual but laced with concern.
You nodded, wiping your hands on a rag before tossing it aside and standing up. "Yeah, what's up?"
"So you're really done with Jenna?" he asks wasting no time.
You couldn't even bring yourself to say the words.
"I'm hoping the drive with Madison the other day doesn't mean yes," he frowns. "I don't think she's right for you."
"Neither do I dude. I never said I wanted anything with Mikey. We literally all went on a friendly drive, nothing more."
"Good, she kind of gives me an off vibe," he shares. "I mean, she's cool and all, but there's just something... I don't know.Â
Hunter leans against the workbench, studying you. "But that still leaves Jenna," he says, quieter now. "Are you sure cutting her off is what you really want?"
Your chest tightens, and you look away, focusing on the glint of metal on the project car. "I don't know," you admit. "But staying away feels like the only way to keep things from going up in flames."
Hunter's eyes narrow with concern, but then he smirks, the corner of his mouth curling up. "Just don't forgetâsometimes running from the fire only makes it burn hotter when it catches up," he finishes with a wink.
You roll your eyes, but a small chuckle escapes despite the tension in your chest. "Trust you to turn everything into a dramatic line."
ââââ
Hunter left around the 6 p.m. mark and time slipped through your fingers, and before you knew it, the clock had struck 8 p.m. The Aston Martin stood before you, polished and ready. It looked solid, steadyâexactly what you needed. Without a second thought, you grabbed the keys, took a breath to steady your nerves, and slid into the driver's seat. Tonight, it would be just you, the car, and the open road.
You eased the car through the streets of Brimstone, your hands gripping the wheel, your mind drifting as you weaved through the winding roads. The town looked different at nightâdarker, quieter, with the occasional flicker of neon signs casting long shadows on the empty streets. You passed by abandoned buildings, alleyways where the stray figures of drug addicts huddled together, their glazed eyes staring into the nothingness that had consumed them. They barely registered your presence, too lost in their own world.
You drove without a clear destination, allowing the car to take you wherever it wanted to go. The sound of tires on asphalt was the only thing keeping you tethered to reality. The rush of the road beneath you, the flicker of streetlights, the occasional blur of other cars passing byâit was all you needed. Just you and the road.
And then your mind went to her. Of course it did. How could it not when you were sitting in this car. You were fooling yourself by thinking a single car wrap can get the job done.
You remembered the day you took this car, how you spilled your guts to her in the midst of your chaos. The way she'd listenedâreally listenedâand kissed your cheek when you dropped her off. The memory was so vivid, you could almost feel her lips on your skin again.
She should be heading to the meeting now. The one you weren't going to attend. The one she was walking into, blind. No idea what it was really about, no clue what she was getting herself into. Alone.
For all you knew, she thought Ghost Smoke was some sort of cereal. But no. You knew better than that. She wasn't stupid. She was smart, and she could handle herself. You tried to tell yourself that, tried to calm your racing thoughts. She could handle herself. She would be fine. Nothing bad would happen.
But even as you tried to convince yourself, the doubt crept back in. The image of her walking into that meetingâunprepared, vulnerableâmade your stomach churn. You couldn't help but picture the worst. What if they used her? What if she got caught up in something deeper than either of you realized?
But then, as you took a sharp turn, you found yourself on the road you hadn't meant to be on. The track.
The place where it all went down.
You didn't intend to end up here. Not tonight. But there it was, the race track standing still under the muted glow of the moon, the outline of the old fence barely visible against the darkness. The stories rushed back like a waveâyour father, Anton's dad, both gone in an instant after the crash that took their lives. The race had been their last, the night that changed everything.
You slowed as you approached the entrance, the cars long gone. There was no movement, no sign of life, just the emptiness that had followed the tragedy. The track had been abandoned ever since. The Sinners stopped racing there out of respect, unwilling to return to the place that had claimed so much.
You parked the car on the side of the road. For a long moment, you just sat there, the hum of the engine ticking down as the silence of the night pressed in. The weight of the past, of your father's legacy, of everything you thought you knew about this town and the racing world, settled on your shoulders.
You couldn't help but feel the ghosts of the past watching, waiting, taunting youâwhat are you going to do Y/n?
You shifted the car into drive, the road ahead a blur.
ââââ
"Can you not be mad at me anymore please?"
Jenna rolls her eyes, frustration evident in her posture. "I told you not to come. I seriously can't believe you followed me here."
Aliyah huffs, crossing her arms. "You're in this mess because of me, and god forbid I want to help! It's not like your girlfriend was dying to come with you, so you should at least be grateful I'm here."
Jenna's stomach clenches at the mention of girlfriend, but she holds her tongue. She's too tired for this. She could've corrected Aliyah for the thousandth time, but it wasn't worth the fight now. Better to focus on getting this over with. At least until this little mission was done, she needed to push all thoughts of you to the back of her mind.
You're not here anyway. You're not helping her anymore.
Aliyah continues, clearly trying to lighten the tension, but there's a note of sarcasm in her voice. "Seriously, there's no way you're not happy I'm here. Look at this place!" She gestures toward the imposing, dark warehouse ahead, a shudder running through her as she takes it in. "It's straight out of a horror movie."
Jenna doesn't disagree. The place does feel like something out of a nightmare. She can feel the resentment bubbling inside her, a sharp, unwanted feeling that she tries to push away but can't. How dare you ghost her, leave her to face this alone? If you were here, Aliyah wouldn't be, and maybe she wouldn't feel so exposed, so vulnerable. But you aren't, and her little sister is. The sting of abandonment hangs in the air, heavier than the looming shadow of the warehouse ahead.
Jenna sighed, feeling the weight of the situation pressing in from all sides. With one final glance at the door to the meeting place, her shoulders slumped in resignation. "Fine," she muttered, voice tinged with exhaustion. "But stay close, stay quiet. Don't do anything stupid."
Aliyah gave a small, relieved nod. "You've got my word."
Jenna leads the way into the dark warehouse, the sound of their footsteps echoing off the cold, concrete floor. The place is completely abandoned, with broken windows casting faint, eerie light into the room. There's nothing in sight but dust and the lingering smell of stale air.
Aliyah looks around nervously, her eyes darting from corner to corner, but all she can see are the dim shadows creeping along the walls. The place feels like a ghost town, unsettlingly empty.
"Is this really the right place?" Aliyah's voice is low, the uncertainty clear in her tone.
Jenna pauses, squinting into the darkness, trying to make sense of the scene. She's not sure why the meeting is set up like this, or why it feels like they're walking into the unknown, but she can't let herself doubt now. "Yeah," she answers, her voice steady but with a hint of something unspoken. "This is it."
They keep walking, the air growing colder as they venture deeper into the warehouse. Aliyah keeps glancing at her sister, confusion written across her face. "What exactly is this meeting about?" she asks, her voice tinged with concern. "I mean, what's going on here? Is this about the club orâ?"
Jenna cuts her off, shaking her head slightly, her gaze focused ahead. "Don't worry about it," she says, her tone sharp and final. "Just stay close."
And then, they saw him.
He was standing in the far corner of the warehouse, facing away from them, his silhouette sharp against the dim light filtering in through the broken windows. Dressed all in black, his figure was imposing in a way that sent a chill down Jenna's spine. He hadn't noticed them yet.
Instinctively, both sisters ducked behind a stack of old, dusty boxes, their breath held as they exchanged a look. The quiet tension between them thickened, and in that moment, everything felt so much more realâso much more dangerous.
On the phone, the man spoke with a low, almost mechanical tone. "Yes, boss. I'm the first one here, waiting on the other two."
Jenna made a mental note on the words. So this was a meeting between three people. Percy would be one of them.
Aliyah's voice was barely a whisper. "Do you know who that is?"
Jenna didn't answer at first. Her eyes stayed fixed on the man, analyzing his every movement, trying to make sense of the situation. Finally, she shook her head. No, she didn't know him. But something about this felt wrongâlike they were in deeper than they had anticipated.
She reached out, squeezing Aliyah's hand tightly to calm her nerves. "Stay quiet," she murmured. There was no turning back now.
Jenna's heart skipped a beat when the door creaked open, and two figures stepped into the dim light. Percy walked in first, his usual calm confidence unmistakable, but it was the figure beside him that made Jenna's breath catch in her throat.
She remembered seeing him at the Raven race. The night you were racing. What the hell was he doing here? Her mind raced, the weight of the situation crashing down harder than before. Why was he with Percy? Was he the club leader? This meeting was about something far worse than she could have imagined.
Aliyah's grip on her hand tightened, her eyes wide with uncertainty and fear. But Jenna couldn't look away. She barely registered the tension in her sister's hand, too focused on the strange alliance before her.
Without a word, Percy and the Raven exchanged brief glances before walking further into the warehouse with the mysterious person in all black. The air around them seemed to thicken, the sound of their voices indistinguishable.
Jenna's pulse quickened as her instincts screamed that she needed to get closer, to hear more.
She crouched low, glancing over at Aliyah with an intense, silent plea. "Stay here," she whispered sharply, her voice low but firm, knowing the weight of the situation.
Aliyah nodded, her face pale with fear.
Jenna barely gave her sister another glance before she began moving, silent as a shadow, staying low to the ground as she crept closer to the three men.Â
But the floor of the warehouse wasn't as kind as she hoped. Her foot caught on a jagged edge, and in an instant, her body lurched forward, her heart skipping a beat.
Time slowed, the rush of panic surged through her, and in that split second, her heart seized with terror. She was going to fallâshe was going to make a noise and blow their cover. Aliyah was going to be in danger.
She braced for the inevitable crash, for the sound of her body hitting the ground and the betrayal of her hiding place.
But just as the world tilted beneath her, strong arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her back from the brink. Her heart raced, her breath catching in her throat. She blinked, disoriented, but when she looked up, her world seemed to freeze.
There you were, standing in front of her, holding her steady. The realization hit her like a punch to the gut. You were here. You had come for her.
In the six days you had ghosted her, Jenna had planned what she was going to do if she ever saw you again. First was a slap, possibly the silent treatmentâa taste of your own medicine. She even toyed with the idea of keying one of your cars. But falling into your embrace, wrapping her arms around your neck and letting out a sigh of relief was certainly not part of the plan.
For a moment, neither of you moved. You could feel her breath against your chest, soft and steady, and despite everything, her warmth was exactly what you needed.
Jenna pulled back slightly, her hands lingering on your arms as she looked up at you, her eyes searching for somethingâanswers, maybe, or just reassurance. She was still upset with your disappearing act. "You really are something," she muttered, her voice softer than usual, almost vulnerable.
You couldn't find the right words, not when your heart was racing from the sudden rush of emotions. Instead, you simply nodded, gently brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear, a quiet acknowledgment of everything unspoken between you. "We'll talk afterwards," you whispered.
She nodded, knowing you both have a bigger issue to deal with at the present moment. You notice Jenna worriedly glance behind you and you follow her gaze to see another girl you've never seen before.
Jenna noticed the fear that was once on her sister's face melted into a mischievous grin as she looked at her, raising an eyebrow and pointing a finger at you while mouthing, Greaser?
You'll have to figure out who that is later, but for now you take your attention away from the girl who is very close to you, and look up at the scene in front of you. Pissy, the Raven crew leader, and an unfamiliar man.
âWho thought holding the meeting here was a good idea?â Percy muttered, annoyance dripping from his tone as he glanced at the dust clinging to his shoes.
âWe canât afford any slip-ups,â the unknown man replied curtly. âLetâs keep this brief.â
The Raven crew leader smirked, eyes glinting in the dim warehouse light. âWeâve already pushed about fifty keys of Ghost Smoke into Brimstone over the past two weeks,â he said, voice smooth but full of intent. âNo hiccups, no heatâjust a steady stream. And trust me, the streets are starting to bite. By the time the next batch hits, theyâll be begging for more.â
"Okay, and you Percy? How's the Vipers' distribution going?"
You clenched your jaw as the conversation confirmed your worst suspicions. These guys were flooding Brimstone with product, exploiting the town's vulnerable, turning the Brimstoners into their playthings. From the corner of your eye, you noticed Jenna stealthily recording the exchange between the three men, every tense word.
Percy shifted uneasily, a flash of frustration in his eyes. "We've moved about eight keys so far," he said tightly, the disappointment in his voice evident. The number wasn't enough compared to the Raven's progress. "Itâs not easy for a Viper to operate on Sinner territory without drawing attention."
"Maybe if you'd stop cozying up to your girl at races and focus on your job, things would be different," the unknown man snapped, his tone biting.
His girl?
"Relax," Percy retorted, his voice strained but defiant. "No one wants Brimstone to become a zombieland more than I do. Some of those Sinners have been getting way too fucking cocky."
Jacob, the Raven leader, let out a low chuckle and placed a hand on Percy's shoulder. "Easy there," he said, smirking at the unknown man. "I canât blame the guy. Itâs hard to stay focused when your girlâs a knockout like that." He finishes with a whistle.
A whispered "ew" sounded behind you, and you felt Jenna tense, a silent fury radiating from her. Anger roared in your chest. Not only were these men scheming to drown Brimstone in Ghost Smoke, but now they were talking about Jenna like she was just another trophy. The rage that simmered inside you sharpened into a razor's edge.
But now was not the time to get angry. You had to remain calm, get all the info you can and get the fuck out of there.
Jacob, the Raven leader, crossed his arms, his gaze sharp as he looked between Percy and the unknown man. âAnd what if this operation doesnât go as planned? What happens if someone decides to interfere? I know you tried this once and failed.â
The tension in the room crackled like static. The unknown manâs expression darkened, a slow, menacing smile creeping across his face. âLetâs hope it doesnât come to that,â he said, voice low and chilling. âWe wouldnât want a repeat of Bullet and Apex.â
You freeze.
But before you could fully process the implication, a sudden noise shattered the silence about 15 meters to your left.
âHey! Whoâs there?â one of the men barked, eyes narrowing in suspicion.
Heart thundering, you whipped your head in the direction of the sound and spotted the familiar mop of curls.
Hunter.
He was crouched low, eyes wide with a reckless determination that sent a jolt of both dread and relief through you. Before you could even react, Jennaâs urgent voice sliced through the fog of panic clouding your mind.
âWe have to go,â she hissed, fingers locking around your arm like a lifeline and yanking you into motion. The edge in her voice snapped you back to the present, and your body jolted into action. The girlâclearly someone Jenna trustedâwas already sprinting ahead, weaving between crates like shadows. You cast a quick look back, your gaze catching Hunterâs for a split second as he, too, bolted to follow.
This was a fight against time, and survival was the only thing that mattered.
Jennaâs grip on your hand anchored you as you both tore out of the warehouse, feet pounding the ground as adrenaline roared through your veins. The cold air bit at your skin as you charged towards the first car in sightâyours.
âStop right there!â A shout from behind sent a surge of terror down your spine.
âHey!â you yelled to the girl ahead. She glanced back, eyes sharp, just in time to catch the keys you tossed her. She was closer to the car, and with no time to spare, she slipped into the driverâs seat.
The three of you scrambled inâa blur of limbs and frenzied breaths. Jenna flung herself into the passenger seat, while you and Hunter dove into the back, your heart hammering in your chest like it might explode.
âGo, go, go! Step on it, Aliyah,â Jenna commanded.
Aliyah didnât hesitate. The engine roared to life, and the Aston Martin peeled away from the warehouse, tires screeching against the asphalt. The last thing you saw in the rearview was the shadowy figure of the man pursuing you, growing smaller as you sped into the dark night, leaving danger and revelations in your wake.
No one dared to speak. The air in the car was thick with tension, the adrenaline still simmering just beneath the surface. Once Aliyah had put enough distance between them and the warehouse, she eased off the gas, slowing to a steady, legal pace. They were in Summer Valley now, the bright lights of the town casting fleeting shadows across their faces.
Ten minutes ticked by in silence before the red glow of a traffic light gave them a momentary pause. It was then that everything unraveled at once.
âHunter, what the hell are you doing here?â you demanded, voice tight.
âHow the fuck did you go from boosting cars to this?â Hunter fired back, eyes wide with disbelief.
Aliyah leaned back, throwing a teasing look Jennaâs way. âYou didnât tell me Greaser was cute!â
"Since when did you know how to drive?â Jenna shot back at Aliyah.
The car was filled with a low hum of murmured conversations, each person settling into their own thoughts as the road stretched on.
âDid you follow me here?â you asked Hunter, still in disbelief.
âYeah, I did. And Iâm glad I did.â His voice was filled with concern. âWhat the hell are you mixed up in, Y/n?â
âI donât know, man. Iâm just finding out about all this today, too.â
Hunter let out a frustrated sigh. âWe need to tell Anton. Theyâre trying to destroy Brimstone.â
You exhaled, mirroring his sigh. âYeah, this is bad. Real bad.â
As soon as Antonâs name left his lips, your mind raced back to the meeting. What the men had said.
Hunter could see it in your eyesâhe knew exactly what you were thinking, and the tension in the air between you both grew thicker.
Up front, Jennaâs voice broke the silence. âOkay, yes, I get it! Sheâs cute. Can you just⊠shush? Sheâs right there,â she muttered in exasperation, turning back to her sister, who was practically grinning.
Jenna slouched back in her seat, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. This was not what she expected when she set out to gather dirt on Percy. She couldnât wrap her head around itâPercy, the same person she thought she knew, was tangled up in a plot to destroy Brimstone. Yeah, he was a jerk, but this... this was murder, drawn out and deliberate.
The crew she had once considered family was directly linked to the distribution of Ghost Smoke, targeting people from the town over. She knew there was always a rivalry between Brimstone and Summer Valley, but she didn't think it would resort to elimination techniques. The shock of it all left her breathless, the pieces clicking together with an unsettling finality.Â
She got her dirt. But this feels far from over.
Despite everything, Jenna couldnât ignore the pull to check on you. She knew you had to be feeling the weight of it allâlearning that your town was the target of such destruction. But there was also the anger. The unresolved frustration from you walking away earlier. She couldnât just let you back in without confronting it, could she?
But as the drive wore on, the pull to turn back softened, and she glanced at you instead. You were lost in your own world, staring out the window, looking like youâd retreated into yourself. Nothing could touch you right now. And she didnât blame you. Tonight had been a mess.
She turned her gaze to Hunter, raising an eyebrow, silently asking if he knew how to handle this. He met her eyes, shaking his head in that subtle way that said, Not tonight.
Jenna nodded in acknowledgment, her expression a mix of concern and frustration. She gave a quiet command to Aliyah, who turned the car toward their place. The drive was silent, the weight of everything hanging thick in the air. When the car finally stopped, both girls exited, but Jenna couldnât help but glance back at you one last time. Her gaze softened, seeing how much this was affecting you. You didnât look at her once as you stayed seated in the back, your face unreadable.
Somehow, without even realizing it, you found yourself sitting in the passenger seat of Hunterâs car. The shift had happened so subtly that you hadnât even registered the transition. You assumed once the girls had left, Hunter must've taken over the drive. But the ride felt endless, every minute dragging in uncomfortable silence, like you were trying to outrun the truth without really knowing how.
When Hunter finally pulled into his driveway, the car came to a stop, and the air between you two felt suffocating. No words were spoken for a long moment.
Finally, Hunter broke the stillness. His voice was low, sincere, and filled with an understanding that made your stomach churn. âIâm sorry, Y/n,â he said, his tone full of empathy. âThat mustâve been a hell of a lot to take in.â
It wasnât easy, not by a long shot. You could feel the weight of the words pressing down on you like a heavy stone.
Bullet and Apex. Your dad and Antonâs dad, their racing names. You had tried to convince yourself that you had misheard at the meeting, that it was some twisted misunderstanding. But as you turned to look at Hunter, his pitiful eyes told you everything you needed to know. You werenât wrong.
Your father and uncleâs deaths wasn't an accident. Theyâd been taken from you on purpose. And now, the truth of that hit you harder than anything else.

Lab Rat Part 1
TMNT 2003 x Reader
Opening setting inspired by the blood draining scene in the 2014 TMNT bayverse movie.
Reader has she/her pronouns.
The turtles are captured and taken to a secret laboratory to be tested on. But they are surprised by what- or who they find there. With seemingly no hope for rescue, they are forced to rely on the strength and bravery of their frail and timid new friend.
Warnings: violence, torture, abuse, mention of experimentation, blood, injury, electrocution, whump
âšâšâšâšâšâšâšâšâšâš
A pulsing headache, bright lights searing through his eyelids, muffled voices, and the subtle scent of ethanol. This is the uncomfortable sensation that greeted Leo as he drifted into consciousness. He blinked his eyes open to a squint, his blurry and slightly concussed vision trying to adjust to the room. In front of him, he saw a few figures moving around the wide open room of a low lit laboratory. Though it was hard to really make out the shapes past the bright spotlight shining in his eyes. He groaned and tried to move, finding his limbs restrained, arms stretched out on either side of him. Upon further inspection, he noticed a long thin plastic tube attached to his inner arm that snaked around the metal restraint on his wrist and fed down and out of sight. Squeezing his hand he tested the confines of the wrist strap.
âItâs a venipuncture IV⊠theyâre draining our blood.â
Leoâs head snapped up to his right at the sound of his brotherâs voice. His vision swayed at the fast movement and steading to find his purple clad brother restrained beside him.
âDonnieâŠ? Whereâs Raph and-â
âHey!!! Leoâs up! Howâs that concussion bro?â Mikeyâs joking tone sounded further away.
Leo leaned forward as best he could and looked down past Donnie, seeing Raph and then Mikey strung up in a similar fashion as he was. Raph was still out cold with blood dripping from a wound on his temple.
Donnie followed his eyes and interrupted his thoughts.
âRaph got hit a bit harder than you did, he might still be out for a while.â He said with a sympathetic tone. âDo you remember what happened?â Donnie asked, in typical fashion checking for any brain damage.
Leo blinked for a moment, allowing for his mind to focus. âWe were on patrolâŠâ
The memory flashed before his eyes. It seemed routine, stopping a weapons deal from going down under a bridge by the Hudson. But when they had swooped down to start knocking out thugs, they had suddenly all been shocked with high voltage electricity. They were too stunned to find the source, the thugs stepping in quickly to knock them all unconscious before they could recover. The next thing he knew, he was here.
A low groan sounded from between Don and Mikey.
âRaph!â They all exclaimed, trying their best to turn their attention to their brother.
âTurn the lights off, will ya? My heads killing meâŠâ He mumbled groggily.
Suddenly, a single loud clap sounded across the room, drawing their attention.
âAh! I see youâve all awoken. Well, mostlyâŠâ The dark figure snickered. His shoes clicked on the tiled floor as he walked closer and slowly emerged from the shadows.
A gangly pale man, slightly less than average height, thinning hair, and a white lab coat approached the podium. He stopped just shy of the base of the short staircase leading up to where the turtles were being held on display.
âI am Dr. Cobble. I am sure you are familiar with my close associate, Mr. Bishop?â
Leo, Mikey and Donnie all groaned.
âHim again? Doesnât he ever give up?â Mikey bemoaned dramatically.
The doctor cleared his throat. âYes, well, he was kind enough to supply us with this wonderful titanium steel adjustable medical grade holding platform. See how nicely theyâre working? We can plug you full of needles and you canât move an inch.â His giddy rambling shifted into an evil sneer that had Leo glaring daggers at him.
âIn exchange, I am to provide Bishop with plenty of samples⊠of you four mutants. After all his trouble, Iâm surprised by how easy it was to capture you!â He openly laughed at them as the brothers glared at him with trepidation.
âNow-â Not allowing anyone time to respond, the doctor loudly clapped his hands again. This time the rattling of a dingy supply cart squeaked as it pulled up next to Dr. Cobble, pushed by another person in a lab coat. âToday, we are starting out with plenty of blood samples while you four get settled. In the meantime, Iâll have my assistant here patch up any open wounds. Wouldnât want any festering to poison our precious samples after all!â He said in a sing-song voice and strolled away to another part of the room.
ââŠ.I really donât like him.â Mikey groaned.
âDonât worry Mikey, weâll find a way out of here soon!â Donnie comforted him. Raph was still worryingly quiet from his head injury.
Leo had his eyes trained on the lab assistant gathering up a tray of what appeared to be bandages and antiseptic and carried it up the stairs, approaching Leo first.
Leo bared his teeth at him and glared with sharp eyes, a warning not to try anything funny.
The intern just looked at him with tired eyes and huffed, clearly unbothered as he instead passed Leo by and walked down to start with Mikey instead.
âWoah, hey- careful with that! Ow!â Mikey loudly protested. Leo and Donnie worriedly leaned forward as best they could to watch the assistant clumsily and not-so-gently rub an ointment from his coat pocket thoroughly into the large bump on Mikeyâs head and slap a large square bandage over it. Luckily their brotherâs injury was not severe enough to break the skin.
Mikey whined irritably as the bored lab assistant moved on to the seemingly unconscious Raph. He gathered some antiseptic on a piece of gauze and reached his hand up to wipe away the blood trailing down Raphaelâs face. When suddenly, quick as lightening, Raphâs eyes flashed open and he lunged forward as far as he could, snarling and snapping at the assistant causing him to startle and stumble backwards out of range. He dropped his tray with a loud clatter and lost his balance, tumbling off the edge of the podium with a loud gasp. He hit the tiled floor with a thud followed by a long groan. Several of the other scientists in the room rushed to his side to check if he was okay.
Raph chuckled darkly. Despite the bleeding head wound he still had some bite left in him.
Leo looked over and gave his hot headed brother an amused smirk. Mikey was chuckling and Donnie sighed in relief, deflating a bit in his restraints.
âWhat happened??â
Dr. Cobble strut back to the front of the room, looking frustrated. Two other scientists rushed up to him and spoke to him quickly, while the group gathered at the base of the podium dispersed when two scientists carried away the injured assistant off to another room.
âI leave you idiots alone for TWO MINUTES and youâre losing control of the test subjects. It seems like you all need a little reminder as to what to do when that happens.â Dr. Cobble stepped forward and pulled what appeared to be a remote out from his pocket. He turned a dial and flipped a switch, and in seconds Leo and his brothers were alight as electricity surged through their bodies from the restraints on their wrists.
Dr. Cobble laughed shortly as he watched them struggle, before eventually flipping off the switch.
The turtles were left panting as they tried to catch their breath.
âSee? Easy as pie. Any time they act up, just use a remote! Thatâs what we had them updated for, to include the new additions!â He shoved the remote back into his pocket and regarded his team. âNow, who would like to volunteer to finish cleaning up these animals?â
No one spoke up or stepped forward. There was a hush over the room as the few left standing around shifted uncomfortably. Clearly less than enthusiastic about approaching the red one again.
âReally? No one?!â The doctor's expression pulled into a sneer as he clearly became angry.
After a brief pause, a small hand reached up from the back of the room.
Someone had volunteered.
Dr. Cobble's expression morphed into one of twisted amusement as he straightened.
âAh⊠my dear (y/n)⊠Have you decided to make yourself useful today?â
There was another pause and the small frame concealed in shadows shifted uncomfortably. They werenât wearing a lab coat, Leo observed.
The doctor appeared to grow agitated at the lack of response and curled his hand into a fist.
âCome. Here.â He jabbed at the space in front of him as he ordered.
There was a quiet gasp from the small form, followed by the padding of bare feet across the tile as they approached the doctor.
The room was still. Leoâs breath caught in his throat as the form of a frail young woman in a white papery hospital gown and a ratty gray cardigan, crossed into the light and stopped timidly in front of Dr. Cobble, her eyes downcast. She appeared to be close to Leo and his brothers in age.
âThere. That wasnât so hard, was it?â The doctor cooed in mock comfort. But it didnât last long. He frowned at her with cold eyes and thrust a finger in the direction of the abandoned supply cart.
âTake some bandages and disinfectant up to the mutants and treat their head wounds. And be quick about it.â He followed with another loud clap that made her jolt, before she quickly nodded in confirmation and scurried over to grab what she needed from the cart. The rest of the laboratory personnel easily returned to their duties, no longer paying attention.
Leo looked over at Donnie and caught his brother watching the small figure with the same puzzled stare as he was. The purple turtle caught his eyes and they shared a questioning look before turning their attention back to the girl. She piled up a tray with gauze, bandages, and another bottle of antiseptic, before carefully ascending the stairs towards them.
She locked eyes with Leo first, and tried to offer him a small shy smile as she stopped in front of him. Her hair appeared to be unkept and overgrown, and noticed a strange metal collar fixed around her neck that caught the light as she moved. The skin peeking out underneath looked red and chapped.
âHiâŠ! Um⊠Iâm (y/n)⊠whatâs your name?â She quietly asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She wasted no time crouching down to place the tray at his feet, carefully extracting some disinfectant onto a piece of gauze as she glanced up at him intermittently to show she was listening expectantly.
âUhâŠâ He glanced around first to check that Dr. Cobble had left. âLeo⊠my name is Leo.â He offered, feeling his brow ridges crease in confusion.
The girl straightened up and faced him again, poised with the gauze in hand.
âLeo!â Her expression seemed to brighten marginally. âCan I touch you with this? I need to disinfect your cut before I put a bandage over it. I-If thatâs okay.â
Leo was honestly a little taken aback by the request. âS-sure, do what you need to.â
He watched her nod at his consent before slowly reaching up in his line of sight, so he could watch what she was doing, and gently dabbing the damp gauze at the tender spot on his head. He flinched and hissed a little at the sting, making the girl pull her hand away and locking eyes with him.
âIâm sorry, I know it hurts a little. Can I keep going? I promise Iâll be careful.â Her eyes carefully searched his, her brows knit with concern and a hint of uncertainty.
Leo hesitated at such careful treatment. It almost felt like a trick. What did she have to gain from this? Who was she?
With no other current options, he sighed and pulled a half-smile. âGo ahead.â
She searched his eyes for a moment longer before returning to her task. Diligently swiping away the dried blood on his temple before stooping down and returning with a thick bandage.
âIâll just apply this bandage and⊠there! Weâre done. Thank you Leo.â She flashed him a small grin before pulling the tray over to work on his brother.
Leo blinked as he processed the interaction, lightly baffled. Then Donnieâs stuttering caught his attention.
âY-y-y-yes! That would be fine, Miss (y/n). Please proceed.â He looked anxious as he watched her bend down to handle the supplies. She must be giving him the same treatment.
âLuckily, it looks like you arenât bleeding anywhere⊠so Iâll just need to apply a little bit of this salve before covering your bruise with a bandage.â She held up the tin and let Donnie thoroughly look over the packaging, patiently making sure to flip it over so he could read through the ingredients and instructions. Once he seemed satisfied that the salve would be safe to use on his skin, Donnie gave (y/n) a grateful nod of approval. She then opened it in front of him and swiped out a little glob of the ointment, lifting her hand up slightly to his face after Donnie leaned down to try and smell it.
âIt might hurt a little when I apply it⊠is that okay?â
Donnie met her eye contact and shyly smiled. âYes, go ahead.â
And in the same manner she did with Leo, she gently dabbed on the ointment, doing her best not to prod at the swelling lump. Donnie made no noise of complaint. Then she reached down and retrieved a bandage.
âOkay, last step. Almost finished...â She looked very focused as she flattened the bandage into the right spot on his head. âAll done! Thank you Donnie.â She pulled her hands away and looked at him kindly, before collecting her tray and moving over towards Raph.
This left Donnie with a similar look of bewilderment that Leo had from the exchange. He seemed a little lost in thought as his gaze drifted over to meet Leoâs, to which Leo raised an eyebrow at him, quietly asking the same question he was thinking.
âOh no. Get that shit away from me.â Their attention was drawn over to Raphâs venom.
âI-Iâm sorry! I wonât do anything you donât want me to! I- my name is (y/n)âŠâ
âAnd why should I care? I donât want no scientistâs lackey touchin me. Now get lost.â Raph bit out angrily before settling again, his head hanging forward a bit limply as he relaxed. The girl looked downcast and seemed a bit lost, but fixed her hands together in front of her and made no move to touch her supplies or Raph.
âDonât mind him, heâs always grouchy. Nice to meet you (y/n)! Iâm Mikey.â The final brother piped up and pulled her attention. She looked over at him surprised, but quickly changed into a light smile.
âNice to meet you too, Mikey. Is your head okay?â She asked him a little less quietly, seemingly emboldened by his outgoingness.
âOh this? Yeah, this is nothin! You should see the other guy-â Mikey spoke as animatedly as he could while fixed in place, his head moving around while he spoke. She giggled a little bit.
âSay, you donât look like a scientist. Do you work here or somethin?â Leo and Donnie immediately perked up at the question, Mikey hitting the nail on the head.
âAh- I-!â She stammered, looking nervous.
âWHAT ARE YOU DOING???â A booming voice burst through the room.
All the boyâs eyes shot up to the sound of Dr. Cobble angrily striding back over to the podium. (Y/n)âs whole body was wracked with a violent tremble as she suddenly shrunk in on herself. Leo and Donnie couldnât see her expression from their angle, but from Mikeyâs eyes flashing between her and the angry doctor, his expression faded from deeply concerned to mad. Raph lifted his head up to regard the doctor with glaring annoyance.
âYou should have long been finished tending to these freaks. And now Iâve caught you conversing with them?? I DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO SPEAK!! NowâŠâ The mad doctorâs eyes drifted over to Raph, and with wide eyes looked him over. âOhâŠ! Oh ho hoâŠ!! And it appears you still havenât finished your job!!â
He took a step closer to the stairs, his head tilted in question and his wild eyes bore into (y/n)âs trembling form. The girl hiccuped and shuddered as she tried her hardest to muffle her erratic breathing. She did not dare move.
Dr. Cobble reached into his lab coat pocket and pulled out the remote again, not breaking his stare. (Y/n) flinched with her whole body at the appearance of the remote, but remained quiet. The boys all narrowed their eyes at the doctor in challenge, ready to feel the jolt hit.
The doctorâs face stretched into a grin, and with the remoteâs setting turned up high, he flicked a switch.
But it wasnât the same switch.
âAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!â
To all of the turtleâs shock, the electricity didnât hit them. (Y/n) shrieked at the top of her lungs as her whole body tensed from the powerful volt that erupted from the collar around her neck. The poor girl dropped to her knees and hugged herself tightly as she spasmed, unable to escape the waves and waves of painful electricity that wracked her body.
âHey⊠HEY!!! STOP THAT!! THAT'S ENOUGH!!!â To everyoneâs surprise, it was Raph who started yelling.
âQUIT IT, SHE DIDNâT DO ANYTHING WRONG!!â Mikey joined in, furious.
Dr. Cobble only laughed as he watched the show. After what felt like far too long, he toned down the dial and shut her switch off. (Y/n) fell limp into a slouch on the floor. The smell of burnt flesh and iron reaching their noses. Their only sign she was still conscious was her shuddering breaths.
âWas it not you who volunteered for this job? You disappoint me, (y/n)! I let you roam around the lab today! Gave you a responsibility! And you not only neglect your duty, but I catch you speaking behind my back!â
The doctor paced back and forth at the bases of the stairs like a predator, easily ignoring the murderous glowers from the turtles as he kept his attention trained on the young girl.
âIâll give you another chance to prove yourselfâŠâ Dr. Cobbleâs voice softens in mock empathy. âFinish up your job, quickly and silently, and your testing today will be minimal. Am I understood?â His tone was cold and final. (Y/n) nodded quietly from her spot on the floor.
âGood. Now hop to it.â And with another loud clap, (y/n) startled into action.
She grabbed the gauze and spilled some disinfectant onto it, and leapt to her feet. Dr. Cobble stayed put, his eyes boring into her back as he watched her do her job. But still she paused. She sniffed wetly, biting her lips into a line as she hesitated in front of Raph. Her hand poised and trembling in front of his face but not moving to clean his wound.
ââŠhey. Hey hey hey, itâs okay. You can do it, okay?? I give you my permission, or- whatever. Just do it!â Raph scrambled to encourage her, realizing that what she was waiting for was his consent. He looked her up and down with palpable concern, actually seeing her now.
She reached up, and still with trembling hands, cleaned the gash oh so gently until it was cleared of blood. Then quickly retrieved the bandage and carefully smoothed it over the tender bruised spot on his head.
When she was finished, she picked up the tray, and almost stumbling from her shaking, rushed down the stairs past the overbearing watch of the doctor. She placed the tray on the cart, and joined by two men that appeared to be armed guards, was quickly escorted out of the wide echoing laboratory down a hallway that led out of sight.
The brothers were stunned in silence as they watched her go, flinching slightly as the sound of a heavy metal door slamming shut broke the spell.
âWell! I think we all learned a very valuable lesson today.â Dr. Cobble started cheerily, seemingly relaxed from his crazed state. He turned to the four turtles, regarding them strung up and half bled dry on their steel crosses, and sneering smugly.
âDo not disappoint me.â
To be continued.

eyes on fire | carmen berzatto headcanon
carmen berzatto x ex!reader (but not for long...)
warnings. language, mentions of suicide & death (mikey)
authors note. thinking of turning this into a fic but i just wanted to get these thoughts thrown onto a page for now | EDIT 7/7: ITS A FIC! HERES PART ONE
you hated carmen berzatto, to say the least
you had been each others first s/o and spent a lot of the end of your teenage years attached at the hip
every berzatto family function (no matter how messy they always ended), every school dance, every hell's kitchen rerun--you and carmy were together
mikey liked to call you guys soulmates, watching how you and carmy just seemed to click like that- a statement that never failed to make carmy go flush in the face (que richie faking barfing in the background)
you were one of the first people that carmen told about his wishes for the future-how he wanted to take up the restaurant with his brother and continue the berzatto tradition
you loved the way his eyes lit up when he talked about cooking with his family-the way he gave his all into his aspirations
"well you gotta make sure i'm the first one to eat those fancy sounding dishes when you start working at the beef, carm"
"absolutely, babe. i wouldn't have it any other way"
however, like everyone after high school, you and carmy hit a rough patch that sunk your relationship -- you were planning to go to college for business administration and carmy was leaving chicago to go to culinary school
you two definitely attempted everything in your power to stay together-late night skype calls, daily texts, hell you even offered to fly to new york to spend time together
but the more swamped you got with school and the more carmen got slammed with cooking (especially right before he went of to Noma), the more the truth begun to show itself
the breakup was messy, because it was less a breakup and more of ...
you: what are we doing right now? like, as a couple?
carmen: i think that i need to focus more on my career right now
you: oh, so..are we breaking up right now? (read 9:57PM)
you: carmen? (read 10:15)
you: ok, asshole, be that way (delivered)
that's right, that motherfucker ghosted you
despite the tumultuous ending of you and carmen's relationship, you were still close to sugar and mikey (and, unfortunately for you, richie)
sugar was adamant on flying over to copenhagen and have a "conversation" with her brother herself + mikey and richie were not too far behind on the cause
"it's fine guys. let's just all agree that carmen is a soft little bitch" you said, trying to lighten the mood even though you knew that you were still racking thru the pain being broken up with so suddenly
you deal with the breakup harshly at first, but you put a lot of that emotion towards your own growth
fast forward a couple years, you graduated college and are on the up-and-up in chicago as a successful business marketing manager
you get closer to the berzattos, strangely, as carmy gets more distant
you don't think of carmy much anymore but it grows harder as he wins awards and recognitions in his field that honestly make you..proud, in strange way
then, mikey dies...and a lot of things change for you
you help sugar and richie plan the funeral, and something sour sinks into your stomach when you don't see that familiar head of dirty blonde hair during the service
some months pass and you try to gather yourself and get back to normal after mikey's passing
richie invites you down to the beef one day to "catch up" randomly
you go, if not to just see tina and the rest of the crew but are met with great surprise when you see him
carmen motherfucking berzatto, in the flesh, standing behind the bar yelling to richie about something nonsensical
he stops yelling when he hears the door open and literally freezes in place when he sees you
you stare at him for a second, taking in the man who once had your heart, noting the new tattoos and the new way he styled his hair and he seems to be doing the same
then, richie breaks the silence--"oh my goodness, what are you doing here, sweetheart?"
you and carmy speak at the same time
"richie, you motherfucker"
"richie, you dick"

heavy feelings
Pairings: Frank Iero x [gender-neutral] Reader Genre: Light angst / Comfort / Fluff Summary: Longing for each other until finding out you two feel the same for each other. a/n: hey guys i hope i don't regret writing this little thing for mcr after forever away from it, even if this is a sam monroe fic that i adapted for frank iero
MASTER LIST
Of course, you knew it would rain, seeing the darkness gathering in the distance, the clouds looking heavy and dense, slowly rolling in. Maybe not so slowly. Youâd predicted itâd rain later at night, and not right when you had to leave work. Or perhaps, even, you just wanted to convince yourself of it after noticing your umbrella wasnât in your bag. Leaving your house in a rush during an especially stressful week could do that.
There was nowhere to run to now that you searched for shelter by standing as close to the building as possible, staring at your phoneâs screen. With a sigh, you finally texted Frank, receiving a text you didnât know how to interpret. Still, you waited.
Ten minutes or so had passed when the car finally stopped by the curb, and you quickly rushed through the rain to slip into Frankâs car, which had an almost permanent smell of cigarettes and a hint of the drink Mikey spilled on the back seats some weeks ago. The engine hummed under you as the rain pattered against the window, but not loud enough to drown out the music from the radio, making a comfortable atmosphere that felt like a warm hug after a long day at work.
The gray colors of the sky merged with the city lights, creating distortions through the raindrops that ran down the carsâ windows, and also hiding an otherwise a sky with the colors of the end of the day.
âAm I your Uber now or somethinâ?â Frank raised an eyebrow, leaning forward to look down the street before crossing the crossroad, his tongue lightly playing with his lip ring.
You shrugged, adjusting your bag on your feet. âWell, seemed like a good opportunity to see you.â Twisting the knob slowly, you turned the volume up, just enough for the words to be comprehensible.
"Oh don't talk of love" the shadows purrMurmuring me away from you"Don't talk of worlds that never wereâŠ
Frank was silent, letting his brain swim in the lyrics, before he exhaled. âYeah, well, maybe I didnât want you to see me right now.â Annoyance marred his words, rough with irritation and⊠something else. âMaybe I just want to be left alone.â
Bitter, as usual. You rolled your eyes, looking out the window with a soft sigh. âJust drop me at my place.â
Frankâs hands tightened around the steering wheel, and he glanced at you. âWait,â he choked out, his throat suddenly dry. âI didnât mean that. âM sorry. I justâŠâ He huffed. ââM not good at this.â His hair was a little wet from catching a little rain earlier when getting in the car, and wetting his palm slightly when he tugged on his own strands almost painfully. So fucking stupid. Why couldnât he just be nice to you? âI donât want to take you home. I want to spend time with you. Just you.â Hopefully, that waver in his voice was just his mind tricking him.
A sigh. âWhatever. Sure.â
His heart kept beating way too fast. Damn it. Frank hesitantly reached over and grazed your thigh with his hand. He needed to cross that bridge. âCome on,â he mumbled in a softer tone. âLetâs go somewhere. Anywhere.â It wasnât much of an apology, but he couldnât do much better now.
Silence stretched, and Frank was hyper-aware of everything. His sweaty palms around the steering wheel, the floor vibrating under his feet, the rain, the music, you. Really, all he did was make things worse. No one ever liked him in such a tender way, so he wasnât sure how to handle it all. Or even how to communicate nicely.
âYou know,â Frank attempted, voice quiet, âI donât like it when youâre upset with me.â The words felt heavy on his tongue.
Silence stretched again, but not for so long. âIâm not upset with you,â you said softly, suppressing another sigh, observing the inked lines along his skin. âGloomy weather just makes me feel⊠down.â
Frankâs jaw clenched as he turned the car, navigating the familiar streets towards his house, keeping his eyes glued on the road because he didnât know how heâd react if he looked at you. Something thick hung in the air, too sensitive to be touched, causing another silence, but it was heavy and oppressive this time. After he pulled into the driveway, it pushed more upon him as he stared at the distorted image of his house through the windshield. He wanted to say something, anything, to break the tension. But the words wouldnât come.
Frank fought against whatever seemed to hold him back and reached for your hand, intertwining your fingers together, finding solace in the small touch. âCome inside. Please. I need you.â
The two of you shared a look before you nodded, giving his hand a brief squeeze, then releasing it to leave the car and jog towards the front door together.
Focused on unlocking the door, Frank twisted his mouth faintly. He held it open for you before stepping inside as well, both of you leaving the wet shoes by the door as he unlocked it again. He watched you take off your shoes, feeling his heart twistâit was a sign of comfort, of familiarity. Of home.
The house was quiet, the lights dimmed, a guitar forgotten on the couch. It felt empty, lifeless. Just like Frank felt most of the time. He leaned back against the door and looked at you for a moment, analyzing, looking for something. He knew something troubled you, the sadness was there, even if he couldnât quite tell the reason, and it made his heart ache, made him want to take it away. How could he have such strong feelings for someone else? His stomach churned.
âCome here.â Frank held out his hand. âPlease, I just⊠I need to hold you.â
Despite your silence, your hand found Frankâs, hesitantly, lacing your fingers together as you stepped closer, and his hand immediately tightened around yours. He slowly wiped away a raindrop that ran down your temple, sighing.
âI hate seeing you like this,â he whispered. âI hate knowing that I canât take it away, that I canât make it better.â The closeness allowed him to drink in every detail of your features and burn it in his memory so that he could revisit it later when he was missing you.
You looked away, feeling your cheeks heat up. âIâm fine, really. Itâs not that bad.â
Frank knew you were lying for your own sake, though it still hurt that you didnât trust him to comfort you, to make everything better. He let his hands fall to his sides when your grip loosened. The frustration made him want to scream and break everythingâhe would never do that, not when it could worsen things.
âI know youâre not okay, and I hate that I canât do anything to change that.â Frank pressed his lips together, nipping his lip ring a little, and stepped back, trying not to seem needy or pushy. âIâm here for you.â It was clichĂ©, something you were probably tired of hearing already, but Frank didnât know what else to offer, and maybe it worked.
Your eyes softened, and your shoulders dropped. âDonât worry.â
âCome on,â Frank said before silence reigned again. âLetâs go upstairs. We can watch a movie or somethinâ.â His hand found yours before you climbed the stairs, and his hand remained in yours when you left your bag by the corner and tugged you down with him as he flopped on the bed. You landed in a tangle of limbs, with his arm wrapped around your waist to keep you close, and his face buried in your neck to inhale your scent deeply. Home.
Despite not being what you expected, it was easy to relax and let go against Frank, taking in the oddly comforting scent of his bed and returning the embrace, tracing circles into his backâhe hummed contently in response.
The little gesture calmed down the furious sea of emotions inside Frank and reduced the world to the little bubble shared by the two of you. Everything was about your warmth and the weight of your arms around him.
Enough time had passed when Frank turned his head to rest it on your shoulder. His fingers tightened around your shirt, as if youâd disappear if he let go. âTurn on a movie, please.â Your shoulder muffled his voice. âSomething you like.â All he wanted was to give you a moment free from the weight of the world on your shoulders, and maybe, just maybe, Frank would find and provide solace in the process. âI donât care what it is. Just pick something.â
Damn. It was hard to choose. You tried to think about something both of you liked and aligned with the atmosphere. None of you would watch it anyway, but the muffled talk under the sound of the rain outside was comforting. Playing with your hair proved to be a lot more interesting to Frank, an intimate and possessive gesture, to him. Mine, his heart whispered.
âThanks for putting up with me,â Frank muttered quietly. He knew he wasnât the easiest to be around, and he could be a lot to handle, but you were still there with him. That meant so much. Despite the lack of an answer, his heart melted at seeing you enjoying the touch, pressing your head to his, briefly. It was almost like you were completely his, and Frank almost allowed himself to slip into the daydream of being yours when guilt pushed him back.
The ending song started playing, but Frank remained still, trying to prolong the connection. He had never felt so close to you before, so⊠exposed. Unlike he had believed, it was peaceful.
Eventually, he pulled back to meet your eyes in the dim lighting of his bedroom. There was so much he wanted to say, but the words stuck in his throat, jumbled and indecipherable. âYou should sleep here,â he said, finally, the only words that managed to escape through. âIâll put an extra blanket on the floor for you.â He wasnât up to going through the usual bickering of who should take the bed. Most of all, it was an offering, a plea, to have you there while he slipped into the unforgiving embrace of sleep, since he couldnât have you hold him overnight. âUnless youâd rather go home.â
âIâll stay. Donât worry.â
Frank nodded in relief.
The makeshift bed wasnât the best, but it was the best that Frank could do. If only he could convince you to take the bed. âThere,â he exhaled, giving you one of his pillows. âItâs not much, but itâs⊠comfortable.â He sat back on the mattress. His eyes followed you, observing how his borrowed clothes looked on you and the weight of the day in your eyes. Fuck, he was so lucky to still have you there with him. âThank you,â he said, because it was all he could do without feeling like he would fall apart. âFor staying, for being here, for⊠everything.â He wanted to say more. It wasnât the time, though. He didnât think it was the moment.
âItâs fine. Itâs not something you need to thank me for.â You adjusted the pillow on the ground before lying down and pulling a blanket over yourself. It smelled like Frank. The rain still poured outside, comforting and daunting at the same time. âGood night.â
Frank watched you in silence, nodding, and swallowing around the lump in his throat. âGood night,â he mumbled. He dimmed down the light on the nightstand, leaving the room in a soft, cozy darkness, a little envious that you fell asleep faster, but he knew the day had been harsher on you. The weight in his chest held Frank awake, and he couldnât help but roll on his side to observe you. There was not much to see in the darkness, but he could make out the rise and fall of your chest in a peaceful rhythm that lulled him into a sense of securityâa false one.
If only you cuddled with him to sleep. Frank reached out, letting his fingertips graze your arm in a whisper of a caress, allowing himself to imagine a scenario in which you fall asleep in each otherâs arms. He doesnât want to wake you because of his silly daydreams, especially not when youâre finally allowed to rest.
With a heavy sigh, Frank forced himself to withdraw his hand and let you sleep undisturbed, averting his attention to the ceiling. Heâd just settle down for the comfort of your presence with the knowledge that, even if not enough, it was more than he deserved. Among the mess of thoughts and feelings, he could finally fall asleep.
Panic rose in his chest when Frank noticed the empty spot beside his bed, but then he saw you standing by the window, with your hands on the windowsill, watching the rain, and his heart calmed down. He sat up with a yawn, leaving smeared makeup on his fingers with rubbing his eyes. The sight of you standing there filled him with a strange sense of peace.
Frank swung his legs over the bed's side before standing up and as much as he wanted to walk over, he preferred to rush to the bathroom and at least take a piss and wash his mouth before anything. Given the situation of it, he presumed youâd been awake for longer than he thought.
Finally, Frank returned and approached you, standing close enough so that your shoulders touched. âMorning,â he mumbled, voice still rough with sleep. âYou slept well?â He blinked a few times, trying to get rid of the sleep in his eyes. âCoffee? I can make some if you want.â
You observed him for a moment before finally shaking your head. âMorning. The floor isnât so bad.â You paused. âWe can have some coffee later.â
âSo, whatâs the plan for today?â Frank prayed you wouldnât mention anything about leaving. He hoped there wouldnât be any last-minute band practice today. Spending so much time with you was⊠nice. More than nice, actually. It was everything he had been wanting lately.
Rain kept pattering against the window. It was a soothing sound he found himself soothing into. He tilted his head, pressing his nose to the cold glass, and his heart fluttered at the chuckle he snatched from you. âWe couldâŠâ His mind raced with the possibilities. He didnât know. Whatever you wanted, as long as you two spent time together.
âThereâs not much we can do.â You shrugged, averting your eyes to the outside again, watching the puddles. âAnd you? Slept well?â
Frank looked over at you, nodding faintly. âMm, yeah.â Sleepiness still clung to his voice, but he couldnât fight the feeling that came along with rainy days. He decided to indulge in his wishes and slide an arm around your waist, relishing the closeness, humming as he buried his face in your shoulder for a moment before following your gaze outside the window. He felt like melting when you held him in return. âWe can watch a movie. Iâll even let you have the remote.â
For some reason, Frank felt clingy, unable to hold himself back from tightening his arms around you, basking in the warmth of your skin that seeped through yourâhisâclothes. Heâd never felt this close to you, and maybe you felt the same.
Your nose pressed to his cheek, breath tickling his skin. âSounds good.â
Frank wanted nothing more than to turn his head and meet your lips, but he restrained himself. âIâm really glad youâre here,â he mumbled with a soft sigh. Words heaved on his tongue like lead, at the same time they prickled in a plea to be freed. âYâknow, I love you.â While he pulled away to look at you in the eyes, he was already making up a thousand excuses in his mind, but all of them vanished once his eyes met yours, and he winced.
âI⊠âm sorry,â Frank said, anxiety coiling in his gut, and he wanted to spill a thousand words to justify himself, but nothing ever came. His brain short-circuited the moment you leaned in and simply kissed him, the sensation so much more intense and better than anything he couldâve imagined.
A soft sound escaped Frankâs throat when he finally returned the kiss, adjusting his grip around you, taking in every detailâyour breath fanning over his philtrum, your eyelashes brushing against his cheek, your hands on his shoulders, his lip ring between your lips, everything. The doubts and worries melted away shamefully easily, calming down his heart in a way heâd never felt before.
Only a few seconds and eternity had simultaneously passed when the kiss came to an end, and Frank looked at you again, his mind a lot quieter now, lips tingling. He felt so safe in your embrace, fuck.
âI love you, too, okay?â You mumbled, kissing his cheek, and he couldnât help but smile, burying his face in your shoulder.

The truth
âYandere!Bonten x motherly!reader (platonic)
âSummary: an accident makes you more aware of reality even though you already knew it, but what can someone like you do?
âWarnings: blood, kidnapping, obsession, toxic behaviors, harassment
I never thought this would go so far as to have five parts but... here we are! đ«Ł (maybe this part is a bit long, srry)
@boycigs there you go!! đ«¶đ»
Part one / Part two / Part three / Part four
You fumbled with the wall for the light switch, your tired eyes playing with you and making you almost trip over a blanket that had been thrown on the floor.
You yawned stretching your back, you had been working on some files that Kokonoi asked you to correct, you fell asleep without dinner and your stomach decided to wake you up at this time of night.
Luckily you had some leftovers from today's lunch, everyone had come to eat despite it being your 'day off', but since they had been busy with work more than usual lately, they couldn't spend as much time with you as they would like, although that didn't stop them from hiding cameras in your apartment to check that everything was okay from time to time.
A knock at the door made you frown, remembering the first time you met Sanzu. You walked slowly, expecting to run into him, or even one of the Haitani brothers who ran brothels near the area, it wouldn't be the first time they've come home drunk after a good night.
When you opened it, confusion flooded your face, there was no one there, not a note, nothing, you thought that maybe you were still too sleepy and you had hallucinated, or maybe it was some late-night teenager making a joke. You shrugged shutting to go back to your dinner, but before you knew it or could make a move something hit you in the back of the neck, knocking you unconscious, the last thing you saw was a few blurry faces, but none you knew in the slightest.
Panic, panic was the first thing Mochizuki experienced when he saw the recordings from the cameras installed in your house. He had to do a checkup the next morning and just seeing how careless they had been to let that trash kidnap you made his thoughts turn to disgust and guilt.
Not even five minutes after seeing that, all the executives were gathered in their meeting room, no matter where they were, they all got there instantly upon answering Mochi's call.
"And if I pause right here..." Mochi stopped the video just as two men lifted your unconscious body "this guy here, on his neck, his tattoo is from another band."
"Those bastards have been giving us so much trouble lately, I'm looking forward to seeing blood drain from their brains."
Sanzu slammed both hands on the table, completely irritated and concerned for your well-being, he was controlling his urge to go looking for you only because Mikey had remained silent with a blank stare throughout the entire meeting.
The Haitani brothers were already warming up to fight, Takeomi was mobilizing some men to search your apartment for clues while Koko and Kakucho were trying to find where your chip signal was. Yes, although unknown to you, they decided to insert a tracking chip into you a while ago just to know where you were when they couldn't be around.
The signal was bad, either because you were too far away from their location or because you were somewhere underground, which didn't help much. They were all probably on the verge of hysteria, the search wasn't going fast enough as they'd like and it only made their mood worse.
It took at least five days for them to come up with any solid leads to your whereabouts, the worst five days of their existence, the poor people or employees who will come across any of them probably aren't alive anymore. Mikey locked himself in and refused to come out unless they heard from you, he barely ate and his sleep schedule got even worse.
"Are you sure it's there?"
"Yes, several of our men have seen these guys with the same tattoo come and go, it doesn't appear to be their central base but it's hidden enough to carry out kidnappings."
Takeomi pointed to a warehouse on the outskirts of the city, everyone mobilized to go there immediately, even Mikey and Kokonoi, who didn't usually get their hands dirty with this kind of work, decided to go.
As for you... it was confusing the first day you woke up, the feeling of a gun pointed at your head became familiar as did the ropes on your wrists and ankles. Your reaction upon seeing the criminals was to release an inaudible sigh, without fear or surprise, your state was neutral.
You knew it, you knew that sooner or later this was going to happen, as much as your guys will try to hide you from problems with other mafias, there are always some leaks, and playing with loved ones from enemy gangs is the easiest card to play to threaten. Although in this case they didn't even have time to issue a threat to Bonten when they had already been threatened by your kidnapping.
The following days were threats to your people to try to get information that could put Bonten in trouble, as well as planning to move to another of their hideouts, however you were unaware of most of the things that Bonten did, although you were their secretary, you were only in charge of planning schedules and correcting some superficial reports from Kokonoi, you were not much help to these scoundrels.
"Damn! I don't understand how they could have protected you so much if you're just a useless old woman, you're useless! Why the hell do those guys hold you in such high esteem...?"
In the outburst of anger as he took it out on you, the sound of his hand slamming into your cheek sounded as the door above fell off its hinges.
"Boss, we have a prob-!"
The eye of the man who was coming down the stairs was blown out thanks to a bullet, landing right between your feet, you closed your eyes and, no matter if you don't believe in any god or anything, you prayed, not for you, but for what all these people did not suffer such a painful death.
You knew what Bonten men were capable of, at first you thought you were exaggerating, but that was the truth and at times, it terrified you. You were terrified to think of all the lives that left this world just because of you, your boys were more than gangsters, more than just criminals, they were monsters looking for any excuse to kill, and you were that excuse.
You knew that there was nothing in this world that would make you reverse time to the point of not having helped that drunk guy at the door of your house, you knew that nothing would make all those men leave your side because of showing your kindness, you knew that no kind of therapy could help such rotten minds at this point, so you could only swallow, as scared as you were, as much as your legs trembled, you had chosen this path yourself and you had to accept it.
"Mom..."
Your breath quickened slightly as you felt Sanzu's cold hand resting on your cheek, you slowly opened your eyes to see pure relief reflected in his, ignoring the bloodstains on his clothes and face, and even ignoring the blood he was leaving on your face, you smiled at him.
"I'm fine guys, I'm⊠fine."
You had to swallow and avoid getting dizzy from the smell of oxide in the place, your memories are blurry when you try to remember when you left there, you remember seeing many practically mutilated bodies, a river of blood and many arms holding your body as if you were going to disintegrate at that precise moment.
After you were rescued, you spent at least two days in a hospital at Kokonoi's request to see that you didn't have any injuries, everyone turned to you with questions about how you were doing, especially mentally.
It became suffocating, the amount of attention you received after that event, made you understand that, from now on, you could not have a single moment for yourself, no matter the job, the time or the place, you will always have one of them on top of you to keep an eye on you.
It doesn't matter if you complain, the truth, which you had to accept once again, is that nothing but death could separate you from these men, because they were not willing to let you go, ever. But the worst of all is that you accepted it, you accepted your fate, a fate that was sealed a long time ago, you accepted that you lived with monsters, that you helped and treated horrible people like completely sane people, but, an ordinary person like you, no could change anything.
"How long until the cake is ready?"
"Don't be impatient Rin, it's only been in the oven for five minutes."
"That's already a long time..."
"Shut up, you're always so impatient!"
"Are you looking for a fight!?"
"Kakucho, could you...?"
A nod from him made you sigh in relief, breaking up the Haitani brothers' fight as you sat at the table with the others who were talking about random topics. You stared into your teacup, your blank stare imagining imaginary scenes of another lifestyle in the steaming liquid.
"Are you ok? You seem distracted."
You looked at Kokonoi, keeping your gaze off without focusing on his face, you nodded with a slight smile when you saw that everyone had shut up to look at you.
"Yeah, I just didn't sleep well today."
"We'll buy a new bed then."
"I did not mean that..."
And like many things in your current life, your opinion was thrown away just to bring you more 'comfort'. You had no power and that was the absolute truth, nothing could change at this point.

First đ
Done on a whim, it was almost strange how right youâd been when comparing Mikey to the sun. He was a beaming hot star in the sky and he touched the land with his warmth, giving rise to life itself. For whatever reason he extended this beam to you and you were now what you dubbed as his outing friend. A term that was never spoken aloud and therefore not official, you only ever saw Mikey in the context of events. They were meant to thrust you into life and the sun, a gaseous ball that existed with or without you, happened to cast its life giving properties in your direction.
As such, the fear of sunburn, an easy retribution for more time in it, meant that your fraternization wasnât always the best thing. Overall, the benefits of daily sun intake outweighed such things, but you wished you had been given more time to apply the protective balm necessary. Without aid, you were fast tracking social interactions at a near breakneck pace. Gone were the warm-ups or slow care you required to manage. Instead, Mikey barreled forward as an unrelenting force.
It started with that painting class. Your first invite, you hadnât really taken into account when ânext weekâ was. Since Pasta Fest had occurred on a Friday, the text saying the class was Tuesday wasnât technically incorrect, but only four days to prepare seemed absurd. It had taken you over a month to go out for Italian and that mental fortitude was built on an even longer stretch of yearning. Now, not only would you be denied a recovery time, but you also needed to get ready in the blink of an eye. The shortened shift balanced the scales as it was difficult to worry about the logistics of going when you didnât even know what to wear. Having never painted in a class setting, you werenât sure what was necessary from clothing to materials.
You had tried to text Mikey what details came with the class, but he was either oddly cagey about it or simply didnât consider things from your perspective. The latter seemed more apparent as his responses came carefree on how not to worry followed by a sea of memes. It left you raiding your closet. Finding something loose that you wouldnât mind getting paint on, you took it upon yourself to research the class. The internet told you little more than it was an introduction to oils, so you were left to self-soothe with an endless playlist of painting videos going non-stop until just before the class.
Meeting outside the school, Mikey appeared in casually cut clothes that fit his laid back attitude. Those pieces were then sparked with loud prints or colors that accentuated his bold flare. Tonightâs ensemble illustrated such with lightweight cotton pants that were enveloped by a fuzzy sweater swarmed with giant smiley faces on it. Trying not to think the little dot eyes of them were following you, you were ushered through the door and straight to the correct room without having a fact check once. His confidence knew no bounds as did his reach. He greeted the professor by their first name and you were quick to find that art was yet another field he mastered.
Whisked around the class, Mikey gave you the ins and outs and seemed to know almost every member on a personal level. Those he did not, he introduced you both to and it felt as though you were being shopped around to potential suitors. You were regaled in seemingly outrageous ways he had connected with these people in a way that made you question his career. While he insinuated he was a chef, he was spoken of like some kind of vigilante jack of all trades.
Unsure of what to do with that information, you had little time to dwell as you were set up at an easel. Class began and you were finally given time to breathe. Instruction meant paying attention which quieted other thought. You only now needed to focus on execution. Oil was a slow drying and therefore forgiving medium which meant things could be changed. As long as you didnât blend too much then you had a chance to repair. As a class for those new to the medium, you were thankfully given a single color palette to avert such a mistake and found comfort in brush strokes blotting little trees.
Youâd almost started to enjoy it when a swing of your arm knocked over a jar meant to clean brushes.
A large glass affair, it shattered and spread on to the floor along with your horror. Scrambling so no one would get hurt, you shot forward to pick up one of the largest shards when your foot hooked the easel. In an instant, everything was on the floor, from your painting face down in the muck to your paints which resisted the water but smeared nonetheless on the concrete.
There was also yourself. Youâd fallen to your hands and knees where water and paint was rapidly seeping into your outfit. Though it was one you prepared to lose, this wasnât anywhere near the road you thought would lead to it. A drop was one thing, but you were now as painted as Mikeyâs sweater with the entire class staring to boot. Trying not to cry over spilled paints, you used the last of your dignity to at least gather those shards when a canvas shoe stepped right in front of you.
Looking up and feeling the wet sheen on your cheeks, Mikey looked down sympathetically before he dropped. With spread fingers, he swiped through the paints and danced straight through the shards. While he seemed to worry not, you scrambled along the ground to grab the glass amongst the teacherâs worries for both your safeties. You lost sight of Mikey outside of ballet-like spins over your head, but in the process acquired most if not all the glass.Â
When you finally rose dripping, he moved fluidly toward you and, in a spin and tip-toes, he brought you away from the mess. You both tracked paint, but after a quick trip to a trash can, Mikey released you. You then turned, now the right distance away to see a gorgeous swirling rainbow painted with your mess on the floor. Mikey had manipulated every bit of the spill into a large piece of artwork.Â
âRight! Sorry about that, Diane! Iâm done taking over so let me clean this right up. Thereâs one of those squeegee brooms in the hall closet, I can just-âÂ
Your head snapped to Mikey with the intent to exclaim on how heâd done this, but nothing came so he watched you with wide eyes until his lips rounded.Â
ââŠor we could see about hydro dipping? Not sure itâll work with this mix, but I couldnât help but notice that bunch of white shirts over there!â He pointed to where a box was laying half open with a cloth sticking out of it.
âYou apologize, but you take over my class yet again.â The teacher, Diane you supposed, mused with her hands on her hips. âAlright, weâll try it, but youâre replacing the product before the tie-dye class!â
âOf course!â
Switching gears as if this was always the plan, everyone moved their easels out of the way and the class shifted to a more physical one. Discussing the golden ratio and what made Mikeyâs floor masterpiece alluring, the teacher went on while you were stuck staring at the mutant who didnât seem to notice. You meant to follow along, but there was a mesmerizing intensity to the affection on his face.Â
Your next outing came as a Hockey game which you always knew was going to be a problem. When Mikey invited you, images of rowdy crowds and air horns filled your head. The ghosts of which echoed in your ears as you prepared your denial. Fingers flying over your phoneâs keyboard, a text appeared in the awaiting window about how this game was hosted by the seemingly ambiguous family member who had stood him up for the painting class. It was intriguing enough to give you pause.Â
Another message appeared, this time with Mikey moving to guilt by saying that he alone would have to be her hype man. The other family members were too booked to support this one and your fingers further slowed. With his usual steadfast nature, more texts soon followed noting that the game was on a Wednesday night, meaning it would be slow, and that it was in the childrenâs league, so there would be barely be a crowd. On your last leg of escape, heâd added that you both could sit anywhere and you were done for as you erased your negating message to pen one that agreed.
In return, he was kind enough to suggest dressing warmly.
Settled in a hoodie and having only minorly debated more layers, Mikey appeared outside the rink looking nonplussed which quelled a few of your nerves. His hands were buried into a particularly brightly tie-dyed hoodie which made you think he had not only been true to his word about replenishing shirt stock, but he had also been in Mrs. Dianeâs other class . Wondering just how many hobbies Mikey had, your curiosity vanished when he offered to prepare you for what lay inside.Â
Your heart soared.Â
With an upheld finger, Mikey warned that Casey would lead a chant at some point and he would signal you when. It would be a whole affair, but the phrase would be something obvious. There was a chance that a guy running the camera would inevitably point it at you because the operator liked to harass shy patrons. You were to stay still if you appeared on the screen and Mikey would take the heat off. Your concerns about air horns were validated, but you were assured theyâd be closer to the ice and telegraphed.Â
Armed with knowledge, you entered through a pair of double doors and out along rink-side seats. Air cooled, but not enough to breathe smoke, Mikey led you up to a higher section with no one in it. About halfway up the back, you settled into a foldout seat and watched as kids skated around to warm up. Mikey whispered in your ear about which one was Casey and you found her to be a furious looking human woman with an undercut who would continually scream what sounded like battle cries. Trying and failing to ask Mikey exactly how she was related to him, the game started and an announcer came on.
The small crowd was a joyous one and you felt excited as the puck dropped. Sporting events werenât something you ever attended because everything about them spelled anxiety induced doom, but in this setting it felt bearable. Everyone was shouting, especially the parents who had lined up rinkside, but you almost felt a cozy little barrier from them in your seat choice. In the snow globe, you were looking upon, Mikey was the painted sun in the corner trying to warm a nearly frozen day. Even as jack frost nipped your nose, you would be tempted out, just to soak up the ray where your life had been dreary for weeks.
You were mentally preparing to chance a cheer at the next point when a trumpet sounded to your right.
You jumped straight out of your seat at a height that caused it to fold back up. A drum then joined the horn and as you descended your bottom hit the chairâs lip. It then buckled so you could further drop and sprawl out. Your hands shot forward to grab the armrests in case you slid away and Mikey appeared over you, asking if you were alright. JHeart beating straight out of your chest, you only looked up at him with your lips about to part in a dry sob.Â
You thought Mikey might help you up, but you watched determination grow on his brow.Â
With a jump different from yours, he landed in a captainâs pose and looked out at the makeshift band. Spying them, he reached into his coat as if getting a telescope, but instead manifested a kazoo. He counted off with his teacherâs projection before playing a tune. Though the sound wasnât near as loud as the instruments, something about Mikeyâs command had caught the groupâs attention. They quickly stopped their discordant sounds and picked up what had to be a known song for these events. You watched with warped awe as Mikey marched, without looking, overtop the armrests to lead the band. Only brave enough to sit up, you watched as the groupâs spirits soared with their conductor.
Soon the music drifted to the ice where you heard Casey scream something about listening to the mystic warriorâs battle tune and rallied the kids to destroy their adversaries.
This then spurned the parents until everyone in the place was screaming after Mikeyâs little chunk of plastic. The cacophony which should have suffocated you, instead made your heart race as it all felt like a grand escalation. Not the sign of the chant youâd been warned, but something else, a goal was scored just as the buzzer went off. The whole building erupted and, within only a single second of your confusion, Mikey lifted you clear off the ground to spin and explain that they won. Shouting back the question because you couldnât believe it, he only reaffirmed before setting you down.
Quickly turning back to the ice, you found the kids all tackling each other in slips and slides before Mikey exchanged your body for your hand. You were pulled down to the rink where you didnât have to fight the masses as they parted naturally for Mikey. Casey watched her kidâs dogpile approvingly and greeted Mikey by his color instead of his name. He introduced you and she immediately gave you a noogie. Crying in her arms over what social barrier you had mistakenly overstepped, she released the mess of you saying you were a good luck charm and she expected you at future games. Not sure how youâd handle that, you thankfully didnât have to as more people appeared and the conversation moved away from your recurring attendance.
Exiting found you gushing to Mikey about everything you had seen.Â
He was uncharacteristically quiet as he listened attentively with his hands in his hoodie pockets.
Your event successes were then cosmically balanced as you were forced to then cancel the next two events in a row.
The first being glass blowing, you especially felt terrible as this was their last public event before they had some sort of big project that would require full use of their studio. Every day a week up until the event, youâd tried to first ignore and then fend off your oncoming cold, but it was too late. Whatever bacteria that had taken root in your body triggered a fever the day of and even when you tried to ready yourself with a mask just to power through, youâd nearly collapsed in a coughing fit.
It meant that a phone call cancellation was out of the question and, for once, you were the one to send Mikey walls of texts in the form of at least three dozen separate apologies.
There was the non-refundable ticket price.
Your last minute abandonment.
The way youâd destroyed his only chance to go.
Swimming in a commingling of snot and tears from the exchange, Mikey sent you an audio response. Stopping crying only because you were forced to, you played it to find his lips a little too close to the microphone as he told you it was fine for what you quickly caught on was the exact number of apologies you had sent to him. Dotting the message off confirming that, he told you that money wasnât really a thing to his family and that there would always be a next time.
Quickly writing back that he should go without you, another message popped up just as you hit send.
The play button on that one had a continuation where he explained the time limit to the spoken messages and that heâd rather wait for you with some cheesy line about it being an excuse to still see you four months from now. Laughing and then immediately choking for it, you thanked him and ordered yourself some soup from a place he recommended.
One had been fine, but two felt like pushing it.
Recovery came slowly for you, but you did eventually get better. The only thing was not all your ailments were of the tangible variety. Though your body had been repaired, your mind wasnât so lucky and it was with utter dismay that you had to cancel your next event, a pottery class, simply because it was a bad anxiety day. Waking up knowing you were already in for it, you spent the day toiling in and out of attacks until the thought of even texting him was too much. Youâd left work early to crawl into your bed to face the sea of brain inducing zaps and could only offer him stunted cancellation without grounds.
It took hours, but the next time you were able to bear looking at your phone it seemed the only thing that had kept Mikey from coming to see if you were still alive was that he didnât know your address. Sending exhausted reassurances, you resisted promising a reschedule because it currently seemed like an impossibility.
Now standing in the face of a rock climbing wall, you almost wished it had been.
Guilt was the only thing that had gotten you here. You had been clear with Mikey that sporting events themselves were already not your thing and you thought by extension that participating in them yourself fell into the same category. Seemingly not, heâd pressed, not quite about your prior cancellations, but referring to coming here as the perfect way to catch up after not seeing each other for so long. Miserable and forced to confirm your attendance based on your delinquency alone, Mikey tugged on your harness.
âAll good! Try for the first few hand holds and Iâll keep watch!â
Looking back at him with obvious horror, he only gave a thumbs up in response.
Returning to the colorful wads of gum that marked where you grab, you dusted your hands with a fine powder for traction before catching the first and trying to hoist yourself up.
After three consecutive falls where you never made it more than a foot off the wall, you were ready to throw in the towel.
Completely unperturbed, Mikey was walking you through his seventh explanation of how to do it when you heard someone scoff right behind you. Flinching into the fake rocks and knowing exactly why, you wished you could cave the whole system in and bury yourself.
âSome people just arenât made to climb!â The voice spat before you heard an aggressive slap of someone latching onto the wall a little too close to you.
Further shirking away and into Mikey, he didnât offer the least bit of comfort as he rounded you. âHave you been climbing long?â
Eyes cracking open a little, you couldnât believe how even Mikeyâs voice was.
He almost sounded friendly.Â
âYears!â The man retorted proudly where he was somewhere up halfway already. âYou have to understand. There should be kiddie hours and adult swim. Lately this place has been swarmed with newbies and they take up so much space!â
âThat has to be frustrating, especially when you just want to climb.â
You stole a glimpse to find the offending man blink with a registration that his complaints had not only been noticed, but seemingly hadnât been judged. âYeah⊠I⊠work all day, ya know? I just want to burn off some steam somewhere where I can get some upper mobility!â
âI do.â Mikey nodded as if he were stuck in some dead end job.
Was that true?
What was happening?
One minute this guy hated your guts and the next heâs spilling his motives.
Mikey had only said a few words at most.
None of them seemed particularly targeted.
It was that way he had spoken.
He had some innate ability to manipulate exchanges to his favor.
If he wanted to make you feel welcome, youâd feel it the moment he spoke those words into reality.
Knowing the same had happened to you, you heard a holler and looked up to find both men now scaling the wall at an alarming degree. Mind spinning as Mikey wasnât wearing a harness, the pair only gave a few grunts before Mikey leaped up and slapped a bell. You took two large stumbling steps back as Mikey then landed with a squat right next to where you had just been.Â
Mikey rose all too easily from where heâd just leapt 18 total feet.Â
Eyes blown wide, you stumbled toward him in a frantic check to make sure his bones werenât out of place.
Mikey didnât address you and instead threw up a radiant smile to the man still on the wall. âTold ya!â
âYou win!â The guy laughed back down.
Scented with a certain amount of fear, you were filled in on the climbing competition that had been struck up and Mikey introduced the man with his first and last name. Unable to believe this was someone Mikey already knew, you quickly found out it wasnât. Instead, in the short few seconds you were thinking everything over, Mikey had somehow contracted this man into his echelon of friends.
Watching the pair bump fists, you could only wonder how Mikey was real. He had to be some figment your imagination had come up with to cope with your constant fear. There was no way a man this incredible could both exist and want to be near you for any length of time. You were a speck compared to him and must have been a drag upon his very being.
You held him back.
You kept him down.
Why you?
You wondered that all the way out of the gym that day and beyond. The texts still came. Mikey still for all intents and purposes was only doing what he cared to do and that for some inane reason was continuing his friendship with you. When youâd met heâd said something about spoiling you, but you had figured that was some kind of warped joke.Â
Now. you wondered.
That intrigue only increased when he said heâd make up for the climbing incident with a low stakes board game night.
He was keeping your ability in mind for once and that had given you strength enough to agree. Apparently some local club had opened up their meet-ups for new contenders. It was exactly your sort of speed outside the new people to meet. They were contentious in your mind, but you had played many a board games in your years. It was a safe activity as long as the right board was chosen and the best low key way to hang out with the few friends you had. Never once having had a table flipped on you, you enjoyed the various rules enough and most known games stood the test of time. Wondering if you should bring one of your own, Mikey texted you to wait to see how it goes though he liked your eager attitude.
Telling him you were going to crush it, you only wished now that you hadnât allowed yourself to get so cocky. Something you should have known by the way their ad had been worded. These people werenât playing Monopoly. They were playing intricate games that spanned lifetimes in which you had to manage literal civilizations while also plotting conquest of nations. There were pandemics to avoid and zombie outbreaks to survive. Each game lengthy and with a set of rules the size of a novel, you struggled through the first game before the overwhelmingness of it all caught your throat.
Silence found you trapped as the other players screamed at each other. You had been thrust into a cooperative form of a game that had once been about beating each other out on tokens. Not sure when the switch had occurred, a second lengthy rule book had emerged and you were trying to parse out the totally new set of rules when it was ripped from your hands. You were told to learn as you went and no amount of mumbling your confusion swayed the other players. Not knowing what you were doing, one of your decisions had led to your ultimate demise. Whatever was happening now, it seemed the gist was that in two turns everyone would lose and it had all come to fruition based on a move you had taken what seemed like hours ago.
Though no one had actually attacked you personally for it, they had brought up your move over and over as they desperately tried to strategize a way to still win.
âThis was why I said we shouldnât open the game nights upâŠâ
The remark had been passive.
One meant for the person next to the commenter.
Not for your ears, but youâd heard it.
It had somehow cut through the rabble rousing and you sank so far down in your chair until you nearly folded in half.
Mikeyâs silence wasnât helping.
Heâd also written you off.Â
You knew you shouldnât rely on him to save you every time, but he was your guiding light.
Wasnât it an unspoken agreement that he would take charge?
Youâd told him about your troubles first thing.
He had a front row seat to your spirals.
He also never stepped in until damage was done.Â
Had that been intentional?
He had so much on his plate, how could you expect him to notice everything?
You didnât.
This was a board game.
Not the end of the world.
Thereâd be more games.
Not all were easy to win.
There were no stakes.
You just wouldnât ever come to this particular group again.
That was fine.
There were millions of people in New York.
Ready to call it an early night, a voice cut through the arguing.
âWhat if I use my movement to return to Costa Rica?â
All heads at the table swiveled to Mikey, who had a finger curled under his chin as he stared at the board.
âThatâs insane!â
âBack toâŠ?â
âWaitâŠâ
âGrab the rules!!â
Staring from the outside in, you watched the table erupt as planning switched gears. Someone announced it was possible and from there they began to bicker over what little chance that gave them. Finding a sliver of hope, they grabbed a paper and drew out the steps just in case. If followed exactly it would be a winning combination and they went through the motions with only a few dice rolls standing in their way. Clearing them as if on fate, the whole table rocketed upwards to congratulate each other.
A single tear slid down your face.
How did he always do that?
You hated yourself for thinking less of Mikey. You should have known better than to imagine him regretting bringing you to make him the fool. He didnât think like that. The Mikey you had come to know was the sun. He continued to scorch the earth even when she put up her defenses. Just above atmosphere, he burned unperturbed. His sheer desire to be alive and live was indomitable. It was that fight that had taken him to calculated silence. He waged his celestial war in the quiet of his mind. Looking for that one little shred of hope, the ones he somehow always got his fingers on, he yanked the tapestry of life and rewove it to how he saw fit.
You were a joke.
His complete opposite in every possible way.
All you did was give up.
Run away.
Quietly getting up while the others drilled Mikey on how heâd done it, you left. Going straight home, you avoided Mikeyâs texts for the next few weeks. Not strong enough to quit him completely, you did read all of them at nearly all hours which held its own culpability. He surely saw all your read receipts and you almost wished it would sour his opinion of you. Maybe then he would finally move on and you could start this process anew. You should have known better than to think you could hitch your wagon to someone elseâs. You were supposed to venture out alone. This process had been about you wanting to do more. Mikey was too selfless for his own good. He didnât realize he was dragging himself down. The space would help.
The only problem was, it didnât.
Mikey didnât seem to care that you never responded. He moved forward tenaciously and even invited you out two more times. Youâd scorned the messages, but time had done something to you. You reflected on how surreal it all was. Youâd warped your image of Mikey without realizing it. Youâd given him godlike command over others. You thought him some kind of manipulator that could get anyone to do his bidding. It felt comical. A rewind found him instead ignorant of scorn or even happiness. He simply forged his own path so authentically that others couldnât help to be drawn in no matter what their side. You swore he must have the ability to turn even the most speciesist person over into a mutant advocate given the chance.
He was your idol.
That skirted more tedious titles, but you refused to put him on a pedestal. It was because of his failings that he now appeared an achievable image. He was the golden standard of what you wished you could be. He was utterly immune to social anxiety and you craved the pride in which he held himself. He still retained his sun moniker, but now it was one of a laissez-faire ruler. Life may have proliferated from him, but not because of him. There were other powers at work, but his status was attainable. You could mimic him like a lowly sunflower that had forced its way through the concrete. You could move with him. You could catch his rays as he passed you by.Â
The only thing you couldnât figure out was what he got out of it. The him that was a person should have written you off as a moot point, but he hadnât given up. Messages continued to roll in. The negative thoughts said he should have long ago, but another argued that you were yet another thing he chose to fight for. When you had seen him, he hadnât shied away one bit. Heâd thrown himself and, by proxy, you into each foray and fixed the outcome if it wasnât to his liking.
He never once complained.
Heâd told you it was fine hundreds of times.
He hadnât dismissed your feelings.
Heâd tried to reroute them.
Staring at your phone for yet another sleepless night, you saw he asked if you wanted to try something low-key next. His next few messages seemed to indicate that he thought maybe youâd been overwhelmed and had needed to take a step back. He said that he understood and mentioned something about two of his brothers who experienced the same thing. Promising only the utmost comfort by going to see a movie, you could only think he was too bright and that wasnât just because your phoneâs brightness was the only thing illuminating your dark room.
He was still singeing you.
The little burns would pile up.
The warmth was also undeniable.
Whatever it was he saw in you though, you were thankful for it. Whether he was oblivious or his spirit was something ethereally burning, your absence wasnât one he worried over. In contrast, you felt a dangerous flicker as you pondered how easy it would be to take advantage of him. As youâd seen time and time again, once he decided something, he rolled with it. It didnât matter how you and others treated him; he wanted to see the best in others.
Heart sinking, you wondered how many people had hurt him. It had to be impossible because he could turn anyone into his fan with only a few choice words, but there was still a chance.
You didnât want that from him.
You: Arenât you worried?
Chef: About what?
You waited for the inevitable message asking why you hadnât responded, but it never came.
You: That I might not be a good person?
You watched the bubbles percolate before dozens of messages started to flood on your screen. Some testimonials and mostly things he felt, he dismissed your claims in his usual motormouth way. In or out of the digital world, you had always loved to listen. It took the conversational burden off of you and Mikey was made for that. Even if it was clear he sometimes missed your responses, you couldnât be mad because he shared the whole of himself. To you it only felt like the pittance to pay in order to stand in his glory. You were gaining so much from him; there was no way you could question your guide. From how far youâd come and all the things youâd done, the night you met almost seemed like a distant memory.
Going alone had taken months of preparation.Â
In that same time frame, youâd done more with Mikey than youâd done in your entire life.
Isnât that what the movies taught?
People were stronger together.Â
How could you return to a world without him there with you?
You: When and where did you want to do the movie?
You: Is there a theater near both of us?
You: Or would that be too much?
You: I realize now that I donât know where you liveâŠ
You: Donât feel like you have to tell me!Â
You: Also
You: Thank you
How could you make it mean more?
Two words didnât sum up how you felt.Â
About him finding you.Â
About him continuing to see you.Â
About him not giving up on you.Â
You could say it.Â
You could show it.Â
After a light discussion ironing out the specifics, a time slot was booked and plans were set. For all intents and purposes, everything had returned to normal, but this time you were prepared. You were going to be worthy of his time. A student with a gold star, you did your best to keep up with his messages until the day of. Meeting after work, Mikey offered to walk you to the theater as what he phrased as your bodyguard. Laughing at the imagery of him bouncing your bad thoughts away, he mentioned where heâd be arriving from which was an approximation of his address.
When you looked it up it had been a block with what you thought were empty buildings.Â
You couldnât put it past Mikey to have some sort of kitschy bobby like flipping houses. You wondered where and when he picked up carpentry when you emerged from your apartment to find him right on time waiting out front. Greeting you easily, you started down the street and made it a few blocks before he stopped dead. Not as quick as him, you made it a few more feet before you turned to find him patting himself down in a flurry. Arms moving faster than you could track, he went a new shade of pale green under the streetlamp.
âI left my phone at home!â
Going on high alert, you fumbled for yours. âY-you h-have the t-tickets, b-but I think⊠umâŠ? D-did you⊠send me a c-copy?â
âDid I!?â He appeared over your shoulder to look down at your device as he turned his pockets out.Â
âO-OhâŠâ You scrolled through the texts and found heâd only told you the details. âNoâŠâ
He clicked his tongue. âUgh! So dumb!! I left my wallet too!â
âM-maybe you c-could login with m-my-â
âLetâs swing by my place, itâll only take a second.â He groaned to the sky.
Startling to attention, you stuttered nonsense.
From the area he gave you, it wasnât far, but it certainly wasnât close.
If you headed there and backtracking then youâd be cutting it close to the movie time.
âCome on! Itâs this way!â He gestured and took few leading steps backward.
Your phone seemed to complain about the time, but the impatient thunk of his shoes moved you to follow him.
You were curious about what he described as a lair.
The oddest choice when it came to nicknaming your house, he went on about how their last place was blown up before they found this one. Unable to place whatever reference he was making, a few turns took you to a less populated area. Nervously sticking close to your light, you descended a dirty old stairwell to where a door was chained up. With what looked like a wave of his hand, Mikey undid the metal and opened the entrance with a sweeping gesture. Staring into a black abyss, you made a nervous sound which caused Mikey to look up.
Seeing what heâd opened to, he laughed at himself. âKinda horrifying when you havenât memorized the steps. Letâs use your phoneâs flashlight.â
Doing that in a few clicks, he hopped ahead after locking the door back up and, for a moment, you thought the worse. Trapped down where no one would ever find you, Mikey could have been playing some long con and you were about to disappear for good. Not wanting that, you trembled a little as Mikey continued forward. He whistled a jaunty tune and left you without choice. You scrambled after him as he led you down to an old subway station where he jumped down onto the rails. Overlooking the drop yourself, you found him holding his hands up as if to catch you.
âDonât worry! Iâve got you and this old thingâs out of service. The access door is literally right around the corner from here!â
You decided that if you were going to die at least your final moments had been interesting.
Doing what had to be the worst leap, Mikey caught you with ease and set you down as if heâd done that a hundred times. His lackadaisical show of strength came as an auspicious one. If he wasnât out to kill you, he could surely protect you. As if reading your thoughts, he filled the empty air with talk security in place. From what had to be jokes about lasers to something about surveillance, you wondered who would ever want to hurt Mikey.Â
You were left guessing as, true to his word, it had been a short walk to said entrance.Â
Mikey gave another bowing offer by opening the door for you and you were led through a set of contrastingly well lit tunnels. It spoke of life even if the space was barren and you headed toward what appeared to you as a subway depot. A place where cars were stored for later, there were several laid out on various tracks and soft fairy lights strung over nearly every part of the ceiling.
âWelcome to the turtle all-in-one super lair!â Mikey spun away from you with his hands in the air.
Unable to keep your eyes in one spot, you saw gorgeous graffiti layered on the walls and that the place was tidy though clearly lived in. Mikey went on a new tangent about how the cars had been retrofitted into rooms and how one day, when he had more time, he would show you the kitchen. Not anywhere near processing his words, you were left as he politely excused himself to get his missing items.
Hang tight, he said.Â
You could spend hours here, as if in a museum, and not see everything.Â
You thought you responded, but your mouth hung open at the expanse. You gaped as you traced the architecture to where an atrium opened up and revealed three stories. Stairs moved around like an Escher painting and you could only imagine their limitless possibilities. They breathed life and soft music poured down the steps closest to you. Wandering closer to take a peek, you found faint light was also escaping from what had to be a television.Â
You had already chosen to stop when a sharp silhouette interrupted the glow.Â
What had Mikey told you?
You couldnât remember, but you felt like you were snooping.Â
It was on that instinct that you ducked behind the brick archway.Â
Steps soon matched the shape that moved at a leisurely pace.
Your heart beat a nervous clock when you saw a blue-coded turtle.Â
You placed him instantly.Â
Mikey loved photographs.Â
This was Leonardo.Â
He hit the landing with bowed legs as he walked and read a comic at the same time.
You were very much gawking.Â
He was slow to stop and, when he did, he took a deep breath.Â
His head then snapped to your direction with sharpened focus. âYeah, maybe you missed the no soliciting sign, butâŠ!â
Comic gone, he was all blue light and swords.Â
You flailed frantically. âIâm with Mikey!!â
Cold steel stopped inches from your face and Leonardoâs whole demeanor shifted. âOh, wait! Y/N? Didnât you two have a movie tonight?
âH-h-h-h-he f-f-f-forg-got h-h-his w-w-w-alletâŠ!!!â You didnât think you could manage the another word.
âH-h-h-huh.â Leo remarked back, not quite mocking. âYou cold or something? Donâs got the temp set to something good I thought.â
With a shrug, his weapons disappeared in another flash.
Star.
This man was a shooting star.
He burned with flashes of ferocity so bright you had to turn away.
From what youâd been told, he commanded even more.
From what you could see, you bet he could also disappear just as well as his swords.
Unable to get a steady voice, your gaze hit the floor.
You felt Leo continue to evaluate you. âYou good?â
You nodded.
Heâd think you were insane.
Your actions didnât sync up with your lack of words at all.
You felt him smile more than you saw it. âDid Mikey ever tell you about the time he got his skateboard stuck in a sewer grate?â
Blinking a few times, you were shy to peer at Leo. âM-mikey.. .skateboards?
Leoâs wicked grin split his face. âWe all did.â
You watched on with growing interest.Â
âI canât believe I put my wallet in the microwave again!â Mikey clambered down the stairs.
â-and thatâs why Mikey was the last of us to be potty trained!â
You giggled from behind your hand. Â
âNope!!!â Mikey screeched on the last step. âLeo, what are you doing!?!â
âYou left your friend here all alone!â Stepping through the large space Leo had given you, the blue turtle moved behind you to gently take each of your upper arms as if to show you off. âI was entertaining our guest! Being a good host! Filling them in on all your most embarrassing memories! Normal stuff!â
You chewed your lip to keep from laughing.
âTheyâre lies!!! All of them!! Lies!!!â In a fit of anxiety you watched Mikey claw around him.Â
Where there was nothing, he caught something and he ripped the air with a tear of orange light.
Life force leaving you, you felt Leoâs grip tighten as Mikey shoved through the hole heâd somehow created.
You didnât hear the second rip as much as you saw it appear next to you.Â
Mikey then walked out of it and into your face. âWhat did he tell you!?â
You gasped like a fish taking its last breath.
A ominous shadow appeared, casting darkness over Mikeyâs overly wound form.Â
Only you looked up to find a hulking red turtle that you knew to be Raphael.Â
The eldest used the whole of his hand to grab Mikeyâs shell.Â
He then lifted the turtle straight into the air, away from you, while you leaned so far back into Leo that you thought youâd be on the ground otherwise.Â
âYouâre making a racket! Both of you cut it out! Youâre freaking people out!â Raph huffed and you couldnât shake how he was at least ten times the size that he appeared in any photo youâd ever seen of him. âSorry about that. Y/N, right? Iâm Raph, nice to meetâcha!â
This was their ground.
Large and all encompassing, this man had to be their rock.
Not just because he was big enough to support all of them on his carapace, in that sense he was the size of the Earth, but because his very essence oozed compassion.
You imagined he worked twice as hard as Sisyphus.
âThat being saidâŠâ Raph dropped his scolding for a snicker. âWhich story did you go with, Lee? Potty training?âÂ
Mikey screamed and fought his air jail.
He was also very much a big brother.
âOh yeah!â Leo cooed triumphantly. âAnd the bull story and the skateboard-gum incident!â
Flames exploded and Raph flicked his hands as if bacon grease had splattered up at him.
Once again, Leo was your cane as you watched Mikey shake off being on actual fire like it was a few measly water droplets.
âNo more!!!â Once doused, Mikey caught you and pulled you straight away from Leo.
Crashing into his hard plastron you heard Leo and Raph chorus for Mikey to be careful.
âWe have to go! Movie starting and all!â Mikey screamed to the ceiling.
âWe havenât all introduced ourselves!â Raph added, sounding a bit sad.
âSpeak for yourself.â Leo rolled his eyes.
âDid you? Or did you launch straight into humiliatinâ our lil bro?â Raphâs brow ridge rose under his mask.
âHey look, thereâs Donnie!â Leo waved just as Mikey yanked on your arm trying to get you away.Â
You looked over to where a fourth, purple clad turtle had just descended the stairs. Caught like a wild animal on film, he was the picture of a gremlin. Hunched forward, goggles down, in a stained hoodie, and holding an ungodly sandwich with a calories count the likes of which you had never seen from a home kitchen, the man only reviewed Mikey with a sort of tepid affection before staring you down with what you could only identify as malice.
Mikey released you and jumped the distance to tackle the new brother.
Donnie dropped his hatred for a smile and twisted around so his sandwich would remain unharmed as he caught his younger brother.
If that wasnât a reflection of the sun, you didnât know what was.
With a cold icy exterior that sat in the dark expanse of space, Donatello had to be the moon in your little cosmic parallels. Â
Mikey nuzzled his cheek to Donnieâs and, with his free arm, the older brother carried the younger back over.
That gaze, merciless and seemingly ever-present, Donnie glowered at you all the way until he deposited Mikey by your side.
âI knew you had a face only pops could love, but damn Don, if you keep mean mugginâ like that and youâre gonna lose your last fan!â As soon as Mikey was gone, Leo tried to slot himself against the purple man.
Donnie looked like he had a retort, but he bit down on it to sidestep at the last second and caused the blue brother to fall onto his face.
Raphâs large hands dragged down his cheeks so hard that it peeled his lower lids. âWhy can we never get through introductions!?â
âBecause you donât take threats seriously.â Donnie turned from an outright glare in your direction to a stewing nature towards the oldest.
âNow hold on!â Raph threw an annoyed finger in Donnieâs face. âRaph is the king worrier! You all know that. Right, Mike?â
âRaph has the worry crevice.â Mikey nodded.
âRight!â Raph started and then spun around, offended. âWait! No! Not this again!âÂ
âTold ya!â Leo pumped his fists from where he was still on the ground, now reclined as if heâd always been that way.
Mikey mentioned villains.
It had been a joke, right?
Mikey mentioned calamities.
That was just New York.
Mikey mentioned powers.Â
He had the emotional prowess of a psyhcologist.Â
Mikey had mentioned so many, many things.
Mikey had said so much.
Too much.
None of it had felt real.
Mikey had a penchant for exaggeration.
It only hit you then.Â
These were the heroes who saved New York.
They saved the planet.
Theyâd been a rumor.Â
Theyâd then been famous.Â
Fame tapered off.Â
They had returned to whispers.Â
Taking a step back from them all, you felt precariously placed.
You werenât supposed to see this.
Mikey had ripped through space-time and you were now supposed to go see a movie with him.
You couldnât imagine sitting next to him for two odd hours knowing what he could do.
Heâd combusted into flames.
Leo had reached through space as well.
What could the others do?
Had Mikey told you?
They were so strong.
Your earlier thoughts of disappearing reared their head.
They couldnât just kill you, they could eradicate you.
Stumbling slightly, words trickled off your lips. âI-Iâm here because M-Mikey⊠w-wants me to be...â
Why had you said that?
Were you trying to convince yourself?
Did you believe that?
âOh-me-gosh!â Mikey gasped and, in two skipping steps, he hugged you. âY/N! You said it! You actually said it! No pity or anything!âÂ
You nodded against him, feeling your body wilt as your brain rallied about what he was capable of.
Spinning up off the floor, everything blurred. âYouâve come so far! Iâm so proud!! Good job, good job!!â
You saw snippets of the others as if time stopped when you passed them.
Raph smiling in a knowing way.
Leo grinning mischievously.
Donnieâs grimace.
A sound came from Mikeyâs phone and he took the time to set you down methodically before grabbing it. âThe movie! Weâre so late! Oh man!! The credits are gonna start!! I wanted to see whatâs coming soon!â
Leo sat up, rolling his shoulders in a stretch. âWhatâs the address?â
âOne million Run of the Mill pizzas to you good sir!!!â Mikey cried happy tears and dropped to a knee that honored the glory of his brother.
âIf only your tab wasnât already worth ten lifetimes!â Leo bemoaned as with a flick, there was a sword back in his hand and he sliced open a large blue disc right into the air.
âEh, Iâll serve my sentence eventually.â Mikey laughed brightly as he tugged you through and you both appeared right in front of the movie theater.  You had to take a moment not to throw up.

He's my everything
Pair: 2k12 Leonardo x Rise!Reader
Summary: The Rise!Turtles are happy they found you alive and healthy, but how would they feel when you tell them you're not coming home.
Warning: confusion on who's who
Part 1 | Part 2
"You're all here" You softly spoke.
You bent down to the best of your ability to help the Turtles from the Rise Universe to stand. Mona who was the closest to you, since she came out to greet you as well, came over to help. Rise Turtles stared at you in shock, tearing up at the thought of you being alive, you gave them a soft smile when they broke.
"(Y/n)!" Mikey wails as he brings his arms around you. Raph even Donnie hugged you tightly.
Rise Leo stared at you from afar, Amelia holding his arm and another hand on his shell balancing him. He watches as you held his brothers tightly crying as you reunited.
"Go hug her" Amelia whispers to him.
"I can't" Rise Leo whispers back, "I don't have the rights anymore"
"We're gonna need to talk when we get back" Amelia says as her and April walk forward to hug you as well.
2k12 Donnie had Rise Turtles sit in their living room to explain their situation, seeing as they've gone through it from (Y/n)'s arrival.
"- We might be able to find why the portals have been opening" 2K12 Donnie says. "We'll have to head to the kraang facilities to check it out"
"THE KRAANG!" Rise Turtles exclaims.
(Y/n) flinched at the loud noise as she chuckles, completely forgetting how the kraang from her world is too scary as the dumbasses kraangs from this world.
"The Kraangs left earth long ago, they haven't been back and even if they do they won't stand a chance" you said.
"Yeah, we sent them out to the universe" 2K12 Raph boasted.
"What (Y/n) told us, your Kraang was pretty aggressive and scary" 2k12 Mikey explains. "Our Kraang is pretty dumb"
"Can't even speak proper english after being here on earth for the longest time" Kat says crossing her arms.
"Okay, Donnie. You and plus other world Donnie and Raph find the facilities and check in with me. The others can stay here, the less the better. We won't attract attention to unknown enemies" 2k12 Leo commands.
"Whoa, whoa you can't order your brothers like that!" Rise Leo exclaims. "You aren't leader"
"Actually I am" 2k12 Leo replies, "I've always been leader to my brothers. Splinter chose me"
"Leo has some middle child nonsense going on" (Y/n) jokes as she walks towards the kitchen.
"In that case, Donnie and Raph go. The faster we find the weapon or sort, the fast we go home" Rise Leo says. "We can't wait for you to come home with us (Y/n)"
2k12 Turtles stopped their actions hearing that sentence, you weren't even planning on going back. You have your life here. You love your world's turtles but the turtles who found you has made their way to your heart. They made you who you are now.
"Leon, I can't go home with you guys" you softly said.
"Why not? Clearly we found you and you belong to our world" Rise Leo responds.
"I... Leon" you stuttered not knowing what to say, or how to break it to him.
"You don't wanna go home with us?" Rise Mikey asks.
You gave him a soft smile, "I have a family here, I built my life for the past three years. I don't wanna leave"
"But we're your family" Rise Raph begs.
You grabbed the hem of your shirt as you slowly lifted up, showing a small but noticable bump on your usual flat stomach.
You caressed your belly as you smiles, "I'm pregnant Mikey, I can't go back with you guys"
The Rise Universe's jaw drops at the revelation. How were pregnant this early in your life and let's not forget, you came here to this world three years ago. Damn, you move on fast.
"W-Who...?" Rise April asks, not even sure she wants answers to her questions.
2k12 Leo came behind (Y/n) as he places his hands on her bump, the Rise Universe practically got a lightbulb lit up as they piece the puzzle together. They now notice the shiny silver oval diamond ring coated in blue on your finger and a makeshift ring around 2k12 Leo's neck.
You have both gotten married within the three years, and now your welcoming your first child into the world.
The Rise Universe snap from their thoughts as they congratulated you, but Leo.
Rise Leonardo stood there in silence.
Amelia could practically hear her relationship cracking into broken pieces.
You found your home.
They knew...
They couldn't take it away from you anymore.

Brother, I'm here.
-- Kurokawa Izana x little sister reader
đ€ â Tokyo Revengers
đ â angst, implication of domestic abuse, suicide attempt, hurt/comfort, a bit of fluff at the end
:a/n â this one is a bit heavy :'> (wc: 2.4k)
â PT. 1 / PT. 2/PT.3/PT.4/PT.5
You, Kurokawa Y/N, only wanted only one thing.
A family.
A household with the said family whoâs loving and will treat you with care and affection. A family who wonât paint your skin blue and purple at any given chance and will protect you from all the things that you find to be scary.
That was the only thing you want but apparently, youâre considered greedy by the world for longing for something thatâs supposed to be given to anyone the moment they were born.
Something was wrong with you.
Something has got to be deeply wrong with you because if not, why else would you be standing outside the hospital where you just got discharged a few minutes ago and currently drowning the moment your Kuya Mikey fills you in with what happened and the truth?
The fucking truth of not being related to them at all.
Your Kuya Mikey- are you even allowed to still call him that?- who you see walking towards you, panic in his eyes because you're walking backwards, walking away from them as if walking away from the truth.
He was saying something. Emma was saying something, also reaching out for you. Hell, even Takemichi was saying something but youâre drowning, youâre falling, and youâreâŠ
Youâre just there.
Alone.
A part of you begs to listen to them, to run to them, to beg for them to accept you as their little sister because God, oh dear God, you loved how they treated you for the last few days in your stay at the hospital.
They treated you like glass. Like someone precious. Treated you in a way that you didnât even know was possible.
It got you questioning if you even deserved it because your stepmother said that you didnât deserve anyone elseâs love but only herâs.
And then it hit you.
You donât deserve it, donât you?
It was just a pity. It wasnât love, it was pity.
But guilt bubbles in you as the thought passes through your mind. Who do you think you are to judge their actions? Who do you think you are to doubt their love for you?
Youâre just a fool who wanted to force her way into their own little bubble of family.
Itâs fucking embarrassing, you tell yourself.
So you run away. Turn your back on them like how Izana did to you. You ignore their calls of pleas and waits. You drown everything around you.
As they curse at how fast you could run, youâre grateful for the times you need to run away and hide on the nights where your stepmotherâs wrath was too much. Maybe it was a destiny to be abused for this very moment. This moment to run away from people who turned out to be not blood-related at all.
You shouldâve just remained in your own hell.
Youâre not supposed to be here.
You donât belong here.
Kakucho kneels in front of his king. His king who he found in front of the orphanage. He felt like a fool for not thinking about this place first.
Because as much as they wanted to leave this place before, it was still their home in their younger years.
"Izana, please. She's looking for you. She begged me to bring you back to her." He remembers the way your lips wobbled, your eyes dripping with unshed tears as you begged him to bring your brother back.
As you told him that you want Izana to stay with you because he's your family.
"She doesn't deserve me and I don't deserve her." Izana says and it hits Kakucho, as well as the Haitani brothers who helped him in finding Izana, that their king was just as desperate as you but in a different way.
While you're desperate to run after him, he's desperate to run away from you.
All because he thinks he doesn't deserve you and vice versa.
"She'sâŠshe's too pure for me, Kakucho. She's too bright." Ran looks down, eyes glancing at Rindou because he knows what Izana is saying. He understands.
But he frowns and shakes his head, stepping forward.
"Your sisterâŠ" he starts and he could see Rindou's eyebrows rising in surprise. "I understand that you want to push her away. Hell, I wanted to push Rindou away from thisâŠgang activities before but he's all I have and I'm all he has."Â
Ran stops, sighing.
"What I want to say is that she deserves at least an explanation of why you want her away from you. That is, if you still want to push her away after all this talk. She was longing for you, you know? Kakucho told me."
Izana looks up at the sky. It was soâŠunfamiliar. Did the sky always look that way? It was always dull before, wasn't it? Why is it suddenly blue and white?Â
Why is it suddenly bright?
His hands are painted with blood and violence and yours looked like they aren't even aware of what violence is.
His head was filled with dark thoughts and you looked like all your thoughts were all flowers and sunshines.
How could he face you after all he's done? How could he tell you that he also wanted to stay with you because apparently, you're his real blood-related sister and that's all he ever wanted?
He breathes out shakily.
God fucking damnit.
If he's selfish to want to have you accept him even though he knows he fucked up his first interaction with you, then so be it. Make him look selfish. Greedy. Asshole.
He doesn't care anymore.
Kakucho's phone rings before he could even tell them to bring him to you.
"Hello?"
Something grips Izana's heart as he watches Kakucho's eyes widen as he looks straight back at him.
"WhatâŠwhat do you mean she's missing?"
The concept of family was always known yet unfamiliar to you. Everytime you go out and see parents with their children laughing happily, thereâs a longing, a nostalgia that you feel. It was ironic how nostalgia is present when all you could remember was rough hands and sharp nails connecting with your skin.
However, when you got informed that you have an older brother miles away from you, it was enough to at least dull the painful memories and it was changed to an imagination, hope, that your brother will let you piggy ride his back, will let you play with his hair, and justâŠjust simple bondings that a family do.
But you found out that it was merely imagination. A feeble hope to be destroyed by said brother.
You found yourself running and running and running.
You donât even know where you are. You donât care anymore. You just want to run away from here, want to get away from these almost familiar looking streets. Your eyes and lungs are burning. Exhaustion seeps through your body and your head is back to letting something hit it from the inside.
Everything is becoming blurry; was it because of the tears? The dizziness? Either way, you kept running until your feet took you to a soft feeling under.
A beach.
Youâre on a beach and the sand felt so soft underneath you it was making you sick. Everything seems big, bright, dull, soft, and rough. Theyâre loud. The waves are loud, entrancing and calling you.
Your mind is racing with a million thoughts and yet, it is empty. All you could think about was how nice it was to just rest naturally like the sun setting beyond the horizon in front of you. All you could think about was the âwhat-ifâsâ and âcouldâve beenâsâ if you didnât look for your brother, if said brother didnât turn his back on you, and if you didnât turn your back on the people who were nothing but nice to you.
Your unshed tears were dried by the breeze, thoughts seemingly getting blown away with it, the waves in front of you engulfing it and taking it away.
And then youâre just there.
An empty shell of what used to be you.
Youâre just there, feet slowly walking towards the waves.
Family is a concept you tried so hard to understand. Itâs something you know and donât know. Itâs something you experienced in a wrong way.
Something that got you questioning your true purpose in life. It was supposed to be given to you the moment you were born so why?
Why are you all alone and trembling in fear and yet, you keep walking? The water is cold and itâs pulling and pushing you in and out. Itâs shooing you away at the same time itâs pulling you in.
You were born in a household that paints your skin blue and purple. People are supposed to be born and cradled with gentle and soothing hands, arenât they? So why were you even born if you donât have those?
Ahh.
You get it.
You were born to die, werenât you?
Izanaâs vision was obscured with his own unshed tears. Heâs trembling and running. A part of him blame the Sanos for your disappearance. How could they tell you about the truth? Couldnât they have just hid it from you? Protect you from it?
But then heâs too aware of what could happen if people let the water boil for too long. Heâs seen it in himself. Heâs seen how he was so full of hope and was ignorant of the truth that it utterly destroyed him when he was forced to face the reality.
It was funny, he thinks. Funny how he uttered the words that youâre no sister of his but the both of you are just too similar, arenât you?
Both longing for a family.
It was funny because youâre there, a family, and yet he pushed you away. Heâs such a fool, isnât he?
But he vows to himself that this time, heâll make things right. This time, heâll open his heart and accept people. Heâll open his kingdom and let people do whatever they want. Heâll be a king who comes down from his throne for you- his family.
Heâs running along a beach, he registers, and your name comes out of his mouth as if itâs the last thing keeping him sane. And maybe it was, maybe you are the only thing keeping him sane because heâs running like a madman, the word âNoâ stumbling out of his mouth over and over again.
Youâre the only family he has. The only blood-related family he has so why are you trying to run away? Heâs selfish, he knows. Heâs the cause of this and he wants the waves to engulf him instead.
The waves already reached your waist but youâre just looking ahead, unaware of the people running towards you. Your eyes looked empty and it terrifies him. Those similar lilac eyes are supposed to be shining albeit a bit dim. Theyâre not supposed to be empty like his.
He reaches for your hand and tugs you to him. It scared him how you were so limp that you let him engulf you in his arms as he frantically dragged you towards the shore, how you let the both of you fall on your knees.
Kakucho, the Sanos, Draken, the Haitani brothers, and Takemichi sees the pure terror in Izanaâs eyes as he holds you against him tightly. They notice the trembles of his body, the wobble of his lips and his tears that are freely flowing, carving their way on his cheeks.
His mouth was gaping, opening and closing, finding their words but it seemed like the waves took it away with them. He doesnât know what to say.
He almost lost you.
Forever.
One moment, youâre feeling the water reaching your waist and the next, it was trembling warm arms around you. Having disassociated with your reality, you were baffled because youâre suddenly at the shore, kneeling, and leaning against someone.
You didnât have to look up to see who it was for he smelled like a family, a comfort, and safety.
You sob quietly against your brother, feeling him tense under you but his arms around you further tightens. Youâre also trembling, fear creeping in you with full force with the realisation that you were so close to killing yourself.
You feel lost.
Afraid.
Are you even alive? What if youâre actually under the waves and all of this is just an imagination? A last resort of your brain thatâs seeking comfort?
Your hand grips your brotherâs clothes, hard and tight, as if heâll disappear if you let go for at least a second. You hear him shushing you, calming you down, but it just made you sob more.Â
Despite being treated softly by the Sanos, being treated in the same way by your real blood-related brother was different.
You felt loved. You felt safe. You felt accepted.
This was the purpose you were cradling in your delicate, trembling hands years ago. Now, itâs being cradled by you and your brother; shared.
But something inside you is still not content. You need to make sure that everything is real. That right now is not just a figment of your imagination.
âKuyaâŠâ you cry out.
âYeah?â Izana says, so soft and gentle.
âKuya, Iâm hereâŠIâm here, right?â you question the reality, daring. You hear Izana breathing out shakily, his right hand cupping your cheek, tilting your head to his direction.Â
And his eyes. You have those eyes, donât you? Theyâre so similar to yours and it makes you sob more. Youâre finally staring at your family.Â
âYouâre here, Y/N, youâre here with me.â he reassures. It took you a moment to process his words but after a while, a wobbly little smile made its way to your lips before it fell- in relief- as you hid in his neck once again.
Your sobs echo through the area. The waves were calm as if giving you privacy, the sunset basking you with its gentle light and warmth.
The Sanos and Haitani brothers watch with a smile and deep gratitude to the world. Even though their family is broken, they know they were lucky enough to have each other since the beginning unlike you and your brother who had to cross multiple challenges just to see each other.
With a soft grin, all of them made their way to the both of you.
And all of a sudden, affection seeps to your head from their pats. It was overwhelming but you found yourself smiling and not running away. Your eyelids feel heavy, making you sigh.
Before succumbing to darkness in your brotherâs arms, the last thing you felt was warm lips against your forehead along with a soft âthank you for not giving up on me, Y/n.â and,
âThank you for being here.â
A/N: i swear we're getting fluff next hehe (with a sprinkle of angst)

Blowjob Tease (18+)
FastForward!Michelangelo x reader
A/N: Just a short one I really felt like doingđ§Ą
All characters are aged up.
Warnings: Blowjob obviously, lol, swallowing and a little bit of teasing.
âShit, (Y/N)â, Mikey moaned, his hands forming fists, holding onto the bed sheets underneath him, his legs tensing up as he tried to hold his hips still, as to not thrust into your warm mouth. âDonât - ugh - donât stopâ.
You hummed out a chuckle, vibrating through Mikeyâs member, making him moan once again, curling one knee up next to your head, his toes curling up as well. He threw his head back, letting out a whine like groaned as you continued to bob your head up and down his shaft, his spongy head hitting the back of your throat.
Mikey whined when you pulled him out of your mouth, feeling the cold air around him once more. Looking down to see you smile up at him, a line of spit still connecting him to your mouth, making the churr in his chest deepening even further, along with a dangerous look in his eyes. He had just told you not to stop.
âWhy?â, you asked, feeling excitement blossom inside of you when teasing him.
âYou know whyâ, Mikey groaned, raising his hips ever so slightly, hoping that you would turn your attention back to his aching cock. âPlease do it again, (Y/N)â.
But you didnât. Instead you smiled at him, before letting your thumb slide over the slit at the top of his head, using the leaking pre cum to lubricate your finger, before rubbing it slowly in circles, these actions making Mikey close his eyes momentarily with a shaky sigh.
âYou have to tell me, Mikey babyâ, you smiled sweetly, knowing fully well what you were doing to him. âI canât do it without knowing whyâ.
Mikey let out a frustrated yet pleasured sound, reminding you of a wounded animal, his hips chasing your lips once more, having to give up when you forced his hips back down against the mattrese once more, his legs beginning to shake with need for the warmth of your mouth.
âBecause it feels so good, babe!â, Mikey finally let out, growing desperate at the thought of having your lips wrapped around him once more. âPlease (Y/N), do it again! I love it when you suck me off! You do it so well! Please, (Y/N)!â
You smiled with a small laugh. That was exactly what you wanted to hear from Mikey, feeling his words run straight through your body, because causing the heat between your legs to grow even further, you slick soaking your panties. And Mikey could smell it, teasing him even further, making him even more desperate for some sort of release.
You gave Mikeyâs cock a few strokes, watching him squirm in pleasure, before you finally took him into your mouth again. Moans fell from Mikeyâs mouth as your tongue worked on him, his hips on able to hold back anymore, buckling against your face. This caused you to moan against him, and chuckle as you saw one of Mikeyâs legs kick out at the sudden feeling that shot through him. One of his hands flew to the back of your head, pushing you further down onto him. The sound of you gagging on Mikeyâs large member echoed throughout the room, as Mikey continued to thrust into your mouth, chasing the pleasure he only could gain from your throat.
âFuck! Fuck! Fuck! (Y/N)!â, he moaned out loud, looking down at you with parted lips and hooded eyes. You knew exactly what that meant. Your turtle boyfriend was about to cum. And so you took him all the way into your mouth, relaxing your throat as he continued to chase his high, before he finally came with a loud cry of pleasure. With his hip pushed up against your face, Mikey came in small buckling shoots, emptying himself into your throat. And you swallowed all of it, lovingly stroking Mikeyâs thigh as he did so.
Once down from his high, you took him out of your mouth, only for you to get pushed over, so that you were laying on your back in the middle of the large bed, with the orange clad turtle pinning you down, a determined look on his face.
âAnything wrong, honey?â, you asked innocently, biting back a smile.
âYou know exactly whatâs wrongâ, Mikey growled, a small smile growing on his face. âHow dare you smell so fucking good while teasing me like that?â With a quick move, Mikey pulled your underwear down your thighs, making you yelp as he lifted you to get them all the way down your legs, before giving them a light slap. âSpread those pretty thighs. Itâs time for paybackâ.

He recognizes me | Kakucho HittoXFem!ReaderPregnant
â Hope like it
â Kakucho Hitto X Fem! Pregnant Reader
â Request Are Open
â Warnings: Spoilers, Alcohol, Heterosexuality, Insinuation of Sex, Bad Language
â synopsis: Â Kakucho Hitto is one of the executives of the biggest gang in Tokyo, Bonten, however there is something else that Kakucho loves and cares about more than his duties to Mikey and the gang, it was S/o. Now it had an even greater importance, since she is expecting the couple's first child.
â Â +800 words
It was almost one o'clock in the morning. The meeting with all of Bonten's high ranking members had taken longer than expected to decide what they would do with a group of traitors located in one of the gang's sheds. Kakucho Hitto, Mikey's new right-hand man, was tired and wished only for a hot bath and to eat the food that s/o had left prepared for him and then to sleep beside him.
As usual, the house was tidy and the food was ready to heat up in the oven. On the table was an ultrasound of the baby that his beloved bride was expecting, showing that everything was fine and that he was growing in a healthy way. Moved by the image in his hands, Kakucho could not even eat his dinner; he just ate some fruit from the refrigerator and went to take a shower.
After taking a shower, Kakucho entered the room and saw s/o sleeping soundly, her hair tangled on the pillow, the covers pulled up, and her pajama top rolled up over her five-month pregnant belly. This scene somehow seemed cozy and nostalgic to the young man who was to be a first-time father.
Kakucho loved s/o intensely, a feeling reciprocated by the young woman who was now fast asleep, enough to not feel the thin stream of saliva running from the corners of her lips. Bonten's number three bent down and placed a kiss on his fiancée's forehead. Her bulging belly was even more exposed. He whispered a "goodnight" and knelt in the middle of the bed, facing s/o's belly.
The days and months went by too fast, as it didn't seem like a week had passed since the discovery of her pregnancy. Her commitments with Bonten were always getting in the way of company to the ultrasounds and some shopping. But he never left her alone. She would ask the most trusted men to accompany her. Sometimes Ran Haitani and Takeomi Akashi would stop by to see how they were doing and accompany s/o to the trousseau shopping so she wouldn't carry any weight.
The calloused hands that had struggled so hard without any instruments to protect them, the same ones that had caressed his delicate bride zealously, now slowly caressed her belly while whispering sweet nothings to the child that lay there. Hitto could not control his curiosity and anxiety to meet the new human being that would be between them in four months. The boy they were expecting seemed to be quite healthy and would be a little faster than the other children. From the reports of his classmates, I knew that he was always moving and stirring. But Kakucho had never had the chance to feel his movements.
- Big boy, are you taking good care of mommy? - Kakucho asked laughing.
The stretch marks that had appeared on S/o's belly seemed smaller from the moment she had decided to start using almond oil and other homemade means to avoid them. She had also put on a little weight, making her look cuter. Kakucho was smiling and grateful to be able to have a family that she had always dreamed of having.
- Daddy is looking forward to meeting you.
Then a strong kick landed in Kakucho's hand, surprising him. He couldn't help but remain static from the surprise and let a few tears stream down his face.
- Do you recognize my voice now?
Then one more kick.
- Your daddy is here - Kakucho placed a kiss on his belly, wishing the child could feel the affection.
While the young Bonten executive was thrilled, feeling his son's movements for the first time, he didn't even notice that s/he had woken up by the movements in her womb and witnessing the pleasant scene in front of her. The young woman reached out and stroked his medium length hair and smiled.
Kakucho turned and smiled at his beloved.
- He recognized me.
The young woman sat up, placing her fiancé's head on her lap, letting him feel the baby while she caressed her own belly.
- Of course he did. He knows that his father is the strongest man in the Bonten and works hard to protect the family.
He then started kissing his belly and whispering how much he loved that child and was not waiting for the moment when he would be able to pick him up. Then he stood up and distributed several kisses over the young girl's face. Then he sealed his lips on hers, hugging her tightly.
- I love you both so much. You have no idea.
S/o hugged him back and then placed a kiss on the scar that cut his face and had blinded him.
- And we both love you, baby.
That night, Kakucho could barely of excitement as he lay there feeling the baby that refused to settle down. He could already imagine arriving and telling Ran and Takeomi that the child already recognized him and that he had been able to feel him kick for the first time. Maybe Kakucho would stay closer to Mikey because of his childish tastes for food and would take even more care of Sanzu, since when he was out of his mind he looked like a child with his tantrums.Â
But all that mattered to him was now wrapped in her strong arms and sleeping sweetly.

Raph=Red, Donnie=purple, Mikey=Orange, Leo=Blue, April=Green and Ruki=white
It was another night in the lair as the turtles were just in the kitchen and In the kitchen, Mikey was cooking something while Donnie and Raph had to listen to Leo's whining about how hard it is to be lonely and single... again.
"It's so heartbreaking that someone as handsome as me, can't even date anyone." Leo said in a dramatic tone while his hand is placed over head as he also poses dramatically in his chair while raph sighs then looks over at the red ear slider, "This is the fifth time you've complained about being single, are you really that lonely?" Raph said while Donnie stared at Leo with his usual blank stare then rolled his eyes "'Scoff' if anything, he could get with people since there is a place where we can freely talk to people such as the mystic hidden city and at sir Hueso's restaurant, but Nardo here never makes an effort to even try." Donnie said while it was Leo's turn to roll his eyes
"None of those people catch my eyes like how my looks catch their breath's." Leo said as he crossed his arms and leaned onto the table as he continued "Besides I want someone who is-... I actually don't know what I want in my partner?" Mikey looked over his shoulder as he stared at Leo "I like to believe that you'll know who your partner is when you first look at each other's eyes!" Mikey said cheerfully as Raph nodded along with Mikey's words, "'Love at first sight'? really Mikey? I think you've been picking watching too many Disney and Rom-com movies on movie night whenever it's your turn." Leo said as Donnie looked at his arm while typing something then perked up at something
"Well, hello there..." he mumbled "What?" Raph asked as the other two turtles looked over at Donnie with some curiosity on what Donnie found on his thingy (I don't know wtf the thing on Don's arm is called so imma just call it "arm tech" from now on and forwardđ) "well there is something new in the mystic city and they are "siren scales" and it's rare to find them but recently people has found some and is now selling it on the market- THAT'S WHAT I NEEDED ALL THIS TIME!"
Don suddenly yelled out as he stood up fast, making Raph yelp as he jumped and fell out of his chair due to the sudden outburst, Leo laughing in the process as Mikey finally realized about the forgotten food on the stove and rushed to the stove as fast as he could but as expected, the food was burnt and now very stale, Mikey sighed sadly as he grabbed the pan's handle and threw the burnt food into the trash bin, "uuhhh... Raph doesn't follow" he said while he scratched his head in confusion as he got up while Donnie continued typing into his arm tech, "Siren scales is what I needed for one of my techs since something in the scales can power up anything and in other cases, if mushed up while added with different stuff then it could add up as either a really strong hypnosis or a healing potion or powder or anything else that has siren scales can be super strong but dangerous in, you guessed it, the wrong hands." Donnie said as Leo dozed off as Donnie continued talking (yapping) about the stuff that the siren scales can do then snapped out of it when Mikey slammed his hands onto the table.
"REALLY-? wait... So there isn't any sirens in the mystic city?" "Surprisingly, no there isn't that many any in the city, Micheal only a few but VERY few sirens, it's the whole reason why it's a big deal when someone finds a siren scale." Donnie said as looked up from his arm tech "We need to go now if we wanna get any siren scales, they can sell out pretty quickly." Leo looked up at Donnie as if he was crazy (he usually is) "woah, woah, woah! we aren't just gonna go right now, are we? I mean we haven't even ate yet-" "There is food in the city, Leo and we are going, That's final!"
and just now, April walks in the kitchen "hey guys, what are you doing?" she asked as Mikey was the first to greet her "Hey April, we were just gonna go to the market in the hidden city to look for some siren scale's that Donnie needs for his machines." he said as April curiously raises an eyebrow, "You guys always just find something new to do every day, can I tag along with y'all? I got nothing to do, today."
"The more the merrier and I need extra eyes on the look out for any siren scales so yes, you may tag along." Donnie said while Leo groaned and just accepted the outcome as he grabbed his sword and opened up a portal to the hidden city while April fisted up in the air as she yelled out "Alright! uh-huh uh-huh!" and then all of them walked through the portal.
âAt the market after a whileâ
Walking around the area as Donnie looked around the place while telling April and the rest more info about siren scales while searching for any trace or any sight of siren scale's while Leo ate the pizza they bought from a food stand while Mikey and Raph look around the area for the siren scale's too even though they don't know what it looks like but they are trying their best as April also looks around the area but mostly listening to Donnieâs info dumping talk to get a better understanding on why he needs it
And so while on the whole search, they all noticed a stand that had a huge crowd and thatâs when Donnie realized why as he looked over at the group âThere! Thatâs where the siren scales are! We have to bid the highest to get them and if we have to then we'll even bid in Mikey to get the scales!â Donnie said as he stomped over to the stand while Mikey took a second to realized what Donnie said "Wait what? he won't do that over some siren scales, he wouldn't sell me to get some scales-" "Yes he would but not on my watch." Raph patted Mikey on the back of his shell as the box turtle sighed while hanging his head
Meanwhile Leo finishes up his pizza slice then looks over his shoulder and see's someone (aka a girl but not Ruki), he thought about what Donnie said back in the kitchen before snapping back for a moment before he took a deep breath before walking over to the girl, she seems to be alone (not in a creepy wayđ„), and she seems very nice, checking that she doesn't have a ring on her finger because who knows if she is older then how she looks and sure she has a weird looking... animal? in her purse, who knows maybe she can actually catch his eye, just like how his looks is gonna totally take away her breath
Meanwhile with April as she looks at Donnie bickering with some random person on who is gonna get the scales before she looks over her shoulder "Leo do you think-... hey where he go?" April questioned as she looked around her surroundings before spotting Leo talking to the girl, raising an eyebrow as she crosses her arms "Uuhh... guys, what is he doing?" Raph and Mikey look over at what April is staring at before Mikey spoke up "Oh mi gosh, he's actually doing it!" "Doing what? Is there something that y'all haven't told me yet?" Raph walked over to April's side while Mikey watches Leo and the gal over April's shoulder as Raph explained "You see, before the whole siren scale situation, Leo was complaining about how he is single and that's when Don said that Leo doesn't make an effort to talk to people and now Raph guesses that Leo took that as a challenge." "Really now? Never knew that Leo wanted a partner, he never mentioned anything about that whenever I'm around." April says as she placed a hand on her hip then looks over at Leo again
"Sssoooo... You look good and the... animal in purse also looks good, what is its name?" Leo said awkwardly as he quickly looked over at the animal in the purse before looking back at the girl "OH, this sweet little dog's name is sugar plum!" Leo slightly made a face when he heard the name, sugar plum... really? and that thing is a dog too? okay don't pay much attention to the dog "Wonderful... and your name?" "Samantha, oh but I gotta go, my boyfriend is probably missing me right now, it was nice talking to you, random turtle!" The girl happily walks away as Leo breathed like he was just drowning "Oh my pizza lord! who name's their dog that? and it didn't even look like a dog neither!" he said to himself as he walked back with the group
Mikey slightly winced at how the interaction went as Raph looked away when Leo was walking back, couldn't handle at how awkward the conversation was between Leo and Samantha while April made a confused face
Leo back with the group with him being on Raph's side while April and Mikey was staring at Leo, the red ear slider noticed and now it was his turn to raise an (non-existent) eyebrow "What?" he questioned the two as they both suddenly looked away from Leo's gaze and started looking at anything but Leo "Nothing" they both said at the same time, after a moment of silence April was the first to speak up "Okay I just wanna know what was that because if that was flirting then we gotta do something about that." Mikey sighed loudly when April spoke up first then joined in
"I'm with April here, Leo if you want someone then we have to work on those skill's." "I'm trying to but they just don't peak at my interest, none of them do so how can I put on my charming talking when the gal doesn't even get me interested." Leo said a defense tone as he crossed his arm's and that's when Raph jumped in on the conversation "I dunno Leo, maybe we can all get a better idea soon but Raph thinks that you just have to wait." "Or we can help Leo try to find what is his type, what's your type Leo?" before Leo could answer the question, Donnie was back "Did you get it?" Mikey asked as Donnie smirked then brought out his hand that was holding a hand-sized brown bag, "Fellow gentlemen and woman, we got the siren scales." He declared proudly "Woah, you actually got it?... wait a minute, how much was it because if Raph remembers correctly, you said that it was rare to find those so it must be expensive." and so that slowly shut Donnie up as he awkwardly slowly look to the side but before he could make an excuse-
'SNATCH'
A covered hooded with a long cape that was covering the whole body of a figure passed right by in front of Donnie and a moment later, that's when they all noticed that the once brown bag in Donnie's hand is gone "Hey-Hey! Thief! we have to catch that person before they can even escape!" Donnie said before he started running after the mystery person and the rest soon did the same after a little short while
Yelling, running, dodging some attacks and obstacles here and there and so there is no way that person they were chasing had to be fast naturally, they had to be on something
as they continue to chase after the person, soon the area was changed into some random forest (I don't know if there is a random forest but just pretend that there is) and running was still happening but soon, Leo noticed a tail sticking out underneath the cloak and before they all knew it, the person jumped into a lake and quickly disappeared into the waters
"NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..." Mikey yelled out as it soon trailed off while he fell onto the grass and then face-planted onto the grass while Donnie looked like he was ready to send death-threats to the person that stole from them as he stared into the water of the lake, April and Raph breathing heavily as they were trying to catch their breath's and then after a while, they were sitting on the grass that was near the lake, just in case the person comes out the water
"We need to do something about this whole situation now." Donnie said as Mikey had an idea pop up in his head "Why don't we camp here so that we will be ready when that person come's out the water." "GREAT IDEA MICHEAL! Soon I will have a new test subject." "Don, No." she said as she placed a hand on his shoulder "Okay here's the plan, we are gonna need some equipment, tents, food, if we are gonna camp here, Leo-" He pointed at the red ear slider "-You will stay here, just in case that cloak person decides to get out the waters." "Whatever you say Raph, just as long I don't get to move, uh bye-bye have fun walking around." Leo said in a smug tone as he waved the others off, they all groaned as they got up and walked back to the marketplace to buy some camping stuff
âAn hour laterâ
"Where are those guys? No way that it takes that long to find some camping stuff in a market." Leo said to himself as he was super bored but he had nothing to do and he couldn't leave because of the person in the water, that could just suddenly hop out of the waters at any moment, HE DOESN'T KNOW, OKAY??
Speaking about the person, what Leo doesn't know right now is that they are actually watching him but still staying in the waters, their gaze staring at the back shell of the red ear slider with a steady planning in their mind and soon enough, Leo felt like someone is watching him and before he could even react, he got tackled to the ground by the person, closing his eyes as he try to fight back and that's when they started rolling on the ground but that meant now Leo is away from his swords and soon Leo is pinned to the ground with an arm pressing down on his plastron to keep him down and when Leo slowly opened his eyes, he blinked a few times to refocus as his vison was blurry a bit but when his vison refocused, he did not expect the person to be a girl, non the less a... human looking yokai?
she looked like a human but the whites in her eyes is a lighter blue and her ears are replaced with a different kind of ears and other things that made her resemble a yokai, and that's when Leo suddenly remembered about Donnie's info dumping, on the screen thing that was up in the air, it showed a picture of a yokai siren and this girl has some parts of a yokai siren so what does this mean for the girl right now-
"HEY! who are you and why are you and those other people chasing after me, after I took what was and IS rightly mine! that vendor stole my scale pouch, you know?!" The girl said in a stern tone as she tightens her grip on Leo, making sure that he doesn't get a chance to escape "UUuuhh... Well, my brother paid for those scales already so if there is a way to get back our money, as far as I know it, that pouch and scales belong to us, lady." Leo said in a matter of a fact tone but that just seemed to piss of the woman more as she pointed a finger at Leo while baring her teeth (I'm sorryđ) at Leo, to which he now noticed how sharp her teeth is
"Those scales came from MY body, MY tail, so in common sense the. scales. belong. to. ME-" "Hold on... YOUR BODY? YOUR TAIL?? Okay now I just have to know what- or well who YOU are!" he pointed the finger at her now to which she smacked away from her face "I asked first" she said sternly, and Leo sighed then spoke up again "I am Leo and you are...?" "I DON'T ANSWER TO A DUMB TURTLE LIKE YOU AND I-"
Before she could finish her sentence, a net suddenly covered them both as they both heard a chuckle from someone in the shadows as they reveled themselves, "Well, well, well, today is my lucky day as we got two, one of the turtles that big mama hates and the siren human that big mama wants to make the big bucks from-" he got cut off by the girl "I AM GONNA KILL YOU AND EAT YOUR RIBS IF YOU DON'T LET ME OUT OF HERE-!" before she could finish her sentence, she let out a grunt of pain as zaps could be heard and she slowly got weak "Woah hey- you okay random person?" Leo said worriedly as he checked on the human siren as the captor laughs "pffh- you think you get to make threats little girl? God, you are just like your dad always fighting and biting back even if it kills him, Ruki." he said coldly
Leo looked confused as he looked at the man then back at the girl who's name is Ruki...

So about rise leo x villian! Reader plot, bef i say anything am a huge sucker for good endings so don't blame me.
So i hc reader as a gymnastic - the the villian from Barbie spy movie(?) - with gadget that help her/them shape shift to anything or anybody (So OP must nerf).
Plot; So the reason why reader is begin a villian to begin with is she's working for big mama - yes am gonna blame big mama - as her special thief, reader have the ability/ or have a gadget that make them shapshift to anybody or anything which it helped them escape from the crime scene/ mad dogs may many times.
The reason why she works for big mama is because BM took her in from the streets after she almost pull a perfect heist from BM's hotel, instead of sending her to police or just k1ll her she took her in as her new minion.
The reason why she know the mad dogs was because she's also a friend to april whom she trusts, so April trusted her enough to introduce the mad dogs to her which in the beginning reader took it as a nice game to make fun of the mad dogs to know what they feel about her after she's able to escape them, but soon fall in love with leo which it was unfortunate for her.
Fast forward, the mad dogs takes reader hostage because they just can't let her go, she knows where they live, she knows too much, they try to interrogate her to know anything about her; who's her boss, where she got the gadget? Why working as a thief? But reader is as hard as a nail and won't peep of an info.
That until leo asks her " was everything about us fake? Your feelings towards me? Our dates? Was everything fakes? " Leo asks, reader wanted to be honest and say no but begin afraid of seeing her answer as a lie she sees its best for them to break up and for leo to find another person, but for this to happen he have to hate her, so she pulls the " bad girl " mask and say " yep, everything was a lie, am surprise you even believed i loved you! " To the mad dogs, splinter and April they believe her mask but leo knowing how people could see right through her.
When everyone leave leo and reader alone to talk, leo start pressing reader for his answers, reader put a fight by saying hurtful words but in the end breaks from guilt, she loves leo so much she feels the guilt is crushing her, she wants him to forgive her but she knows she doesn't deserve it.
She get surprised by leo mentioning how reader have to stay in the lair to keep on " interrogate " her, tho reader knows it's way of leo saying " you're gonna stay with me until your problems is solved ", yes reader hadn't gotten leo's full trust again but it's a step to regain his and the family's trust.
first of all, i love the headcanon of gymnastics reader with the shapeshifting because it's just such a cool thing tbh. And almost pulling the perfect heist?? i would hire her in an instant. I think if it was me who wrote this it might go something like:
You slide down the rope, eyes scanning the room to see if any alarms had been triggered yet. Noting the absence of flashing lights and loud blaring sirens, your shoulders sag in relief at going undetected.
----
and reader getting caught by the mad dogs and being interrogated??? Oh my GOD so much potential for angst here it's insane. Mikey interrogating her?? sweetheart won't be able to hold back tears. Raph??? Incredibly disappointed. "I thought we were bear buddies!"
Donnie?? Well. Honestly I'm not sure how he'd react but i think he'd be rather hurt bc he considered you a good acquaintance, maybe even working your way up to be a worthy friend.
And then there's Leo. Our sweet, sweet turtle who just so happened to fall for the enemy. Honestly I'm always a sucker for sweet endings but I just so happen to be rather evil and as such will leave it on a high note of heartbreak :>
So, if I were to just kinda drabble a bit (Please pardon the suddenness of it all, this is very on the spot bc inspo hit and completely unedited/thought out) I'd write it like this:
"Fine, don't tell me anything then." Leo stands up, the shards of hurt and betrayal stabbing into his chest even deeper as he watches your bowed head. You refuse to look up, to meet his gaze because you knew that if you did, you'd break.
You're already trying to silence the voice in your head practically screaming at you to tell him everything. To tell him everything you felt for him - that you still feel for him, was never a lie.
Your eyes water, but you refuse to let a single tear overflow and land on the table. Your arms are tightly secured with rope, and you can barely breathe even though they had been lenient with your restraints.
Leo wants to say something - anything, for the glimmer of hope in his heart that you'd come clean.
"Please."
That makes you look up. His eyes are filled with desperation, pleading with you to admit that what the both of you had wasn't just pure deceit.
When he finally manages to meet your gaze, he almost forgets how angry he is. Your eyes swirl with guilt and regret, conflict in his chest as he watches you visibly struggle to find the words to reply. He wants nothing more than to wrap you into a hug, to soothe your worries (and his) and to forget everything that went down in the past two days.
But you don't reply, and it worsens the pit of despair his heart is already plummeting into.
So he turns around, walking out of the room and slamming the door shut, leaving you behind in the cold darkness.
-------
but yeah! I genuinely really love this plot idea and i think i'll come back to it one day. But currently I'm rather busy and bogged down with work, so it might be a while (whoops).
Thank you so much for sending this in! I really enjoyed this idea :D
Actually, i just got reminded of this one Donnie fic by someone on tumblr(i can't remember the name of the blog, someone please lmk what it is!) but it has a similar storyline whereby Donnie and reader are in a relationship, only for him to find out she's been working for Big Mama all along! I remember it has a happy ending, so I think you'd really enjoy it!

đ« The Chocolate : TMNT fanficđ«
------------------------------------
This is actually my first Reader fic so enjoy my mistakes đ
X-RATED. DON'T READ IF YOU ARE A MINOR
----------------------------------
It's almost night when you arrived at the turtle's lair after you got your delivery. It wasn't entirely yours. It was for your friend. Unfortunately, their parents forbid them to order anymore online so they had to use your home address. When the mail arrived, you called them. Surprisingly, they just said that they are no longer interested whatever's in the mail and just take it as a Valentine's gift from them. After thanking them, you went to buy the boys some gifts. It was a bunch of chocolates and a small bouquet of flowers in accordance to their color. One thing they also desire the most is steak. It definitely costs a lot but it was worth it. Besides, they deserve it for watching out New York. Your hands are full and it is tiring to go back to the apartment to leave your mail so you brought it along in the lair. Its as if they were expecting you to visit, a dash of orange appeared at the entrance.
"Hey sweetcakes!" Mikey greeted you with a hug.
"Hmm~~ is that steak I smell?" You gave the red turtle a smile before ushering Mikey to the kitchen.
"Figured I get you all something for Valentine's day. Those are the biggest steak I could ever find." You replied. You gave him the bag filled with steaks to be placed in the kitchen.
"What about those?" Pointing at the remaining bags filled with their bouquets and chocolates.
"A little something from me to you guys." You could see the twinkle in the leader's eyes. You tend to forget that they rarely have gifts. Laughing at his reaction, you softly pet his cheek with your free hand.
"You will all get to open it after dinner alright?" Pouting, he went to the kitchen were they are currently setting up the plates.
"Oh! You're here! What's the stuff?"
"You'll get to see it after dinner so scram."
The purple didn't even argue before taking your stuff and settled it on the living room couch. Dinner went well and the boys were pretty much stuffed at this point. Imagine eating steaks that are definitely twice the size they usually serve you at a restaurant. You were supposed to get one but figured a few digits won't hurt. At least you could see how contented the boys are having a steak on their own.
After fixing the table, Raphael and Donatello went ahead to lay out the cushions for them to settle for the game she prepared.
Excusing himself, Master Splinter went to bed early. He said that we should enjoy the night without a parent hovering to make things uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, Leonardo grumbled in annoyance since he was the one washing the dishes while Mikey dries the wares. It was 'supposed' to be Raph but Mikey pulled on the puppy eyes look. Who would have thought Leo would fall for that?
****************************FAST FORWARD***********
You were enjoying this so called UNO game that Donnie bought online when your phone rang. You thought it was your friend and thought that she'll wanting the package back. As you flipped your phone open, your skin paled when you saw that the caller ID is your boss.
"Hey boys, I need to answer this call real quick. Help yourselves on the bags I bought for you all. It's color coded so you'll know which is yours." You blurted out before going to the entrance of the lair. You could've answered it there but if they wanted to continue the game, you wouldn't be a bother.
The boys stood up and glance at the bags and sure enough it is color coded. Each boys got their own bags and started eating the chocolates inside while the bouquets are neatly placed on top of the couch. At first they thought the bouquets were real flowers due to how it smells. Upon closer look, they realized that the bouquets were crochet.
Donatello opened his bag once again to check if there are any chocolates left. What he saw is a small rectangular box. He took it out and gave it a little shake. This caught the attention of Leonardo.
"What's that Don?"
"I don't know. Looks light." He gave the object to Leonardo and motioned for him to open it. Leo grabbed the knife hidden in his ankle and carefully cut through the box.
"What is it?"
"Seems like another batch of chocolate if you asked me." The leader took the chocolates out of the box. There were exactly four of it inside.
"Maybe they got it online and forgot to wrapped it since it came late?"
"Could've been. Got a pretty weird name too. Who names their chocolates 'Tabs'"?
"Yeah. It also have this 'Break. Bite. Bang' saying. What's that mean Donnie?"
"Don't ask me. Probably just those famous catch phrases they do for marketing."
The boys each ate their own box. They took their time eating it since it looks expensive.
"I gotta say, you can never go wrong with dark chocolate."
"Indeed"
"Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to come back."
"No probs babe! At least we get to enjoy those chocolates you gave us. It was delicious"
"Glad you like it." Smiling, all of you went back on your game.
************FAST FORWARD***********
Leonardo felt hot. Not the hot that you can fan away. It's a different type of hot. He shifted in his seat and sure enough, he felt his erection coming to life.
"Is it hot in here? It feels like I'm on fire!" It seems that it wasn't just the leader suffering.
"I get what you mean. And I think... We're all affected."
"What do you guys mean? Are you sick?"
"Well it's uh... Yeah probably."
"Oh no.. did I gave you guys expired chocolates?!" Dread washed over your body and began rummaging through the bags. What you have found just made you want to murder your friend who gave you that package.
"Uhm guys? Did you all ate the 'Tabs' chocolates?"
"Uh yeah we did. It was delicious."
"Is it expired?"
"Well... Before you get mad, those chocolates were given to me by my friend and I didn't know it was 'those' chocolates."
"Why would we get mad? And what's wrong with those chocolates anyways?"
"It's.... Uhm... itstoenhancesexualdesires!" You're currently panicking right now because you're not sure what the boys will think of you now.
"Sooo... We're just getting horny then?"
"That doesn't sound so bad"
"It seems we need to end the night then."
"Orr .... Let's have doll help us since they gave us those chocolates."
Your eyes widened at Raph's lewd suggestion. You were about to open your mouth when you noticed that all of them were currently looking at you in a weird way.
"That's not a bad suggestion isn't it Leo?"
"I wouldn't be opposed to that"
------------------------------
P.S: My brain got fried at the last part so it's perfectly fine if you all decide to continue it to the *ehem* part đ anyways, if you want to continue it to the *ehem* part and publish it, I wouldn't mind. Just tag me on the unholy part that you made đ
