#fashion fail

Trying to buy clothes while fat is an exercise in frustration. Modern, middle/low income fashion is trash. I was going through some plus size magazines that came in today, and was entirely unimpressed with the “styles” to choose from.

Rather than shopping for clothes, I feel like I’m going camping and buying a tent!

These photos are from three different magazines for three different companies. And yet they all sell exactly the same things.

Casual wear, professional wear, special occasions… they’re all shapeless TENTS!!!

(Expensive tents. Why are some of these things over $50? Unless they’re paying their workers proper wages ((doubtful)) then the same item in “straight” sizes is often half that!)

Does anyone have any options (not torrid, LB, woman within) that don’t look like you’re wearing a colorful sack? Nothing in my local donation places ever fit. I guess nobody my size throws out perfectly good clothing and instead wears it to death.

Because at this rate I’m going to have to bite the bullet and sew up everything myself…. And that’s gonna be a hassle and a half.

Flesh-colored leggings are NEVER a good idea. Leggings the same color as your skin--no matter what your skin tone--DO NOT look good.

This is what happens when you don't have a strong PR team to scout the location and advise on optics, etc😬 She's doing her PR in-house, I think? Her gold dress is trending as the Hertz dress on social media lol

This was suppose to be her big comeback but it looks cheap compared to the Coronation photos and the Cannes red carpet that was happening at the same time.

The whole thing is just amazingly bad.

Really liked this dress and it went well with the theme of the party I'm going to (Rodeo Love or smthn it's some country theme lmao) but unfortunately this looks like trash on me and my family consistently pointed out how big my chest and stomach are and how this doesn't look good on my man shoulders 🥲

Fashion fail, IMHO. By the third season of Star Trek, if was getting noticeable that the costumer was a little tired of coming up with new weirdnesses to pass off as 'Future Alien Fashion'. The episode "The Way to Eden" with its 'space hippies' was just so bad .....
