snippets from my first zine-- started a little while back and finished recently-- i wanted to capture the feeling of my first year out of college-- the feeling of disconnect from everyone and everything familiar-- shunted into the unknowns of adulthood with not enough guidance-- trying desperately to find hope in the midst

(it feels odd to post right now-- as the world is feeling bleak and life is feeling overwhelming-- the air is dry and filled with smoke-- but as a dear friend told me recently-- we have to believe that hope is inevitable)

Based on Lucy’s memorandum, I think it’s safe to assume that she does not survive the night.

R.I.P. to Lucy Westerna and her mother. She didn’t deserve the months of terror and certainly not the horror of her mother dying on top of her.

(Does she end up undead? That vampire seemed to like feeding from her, followed her all the way back home, and clearly she’s a hit with men. Unless, she was too easy a food source to just leave alone.)

Household: Fare

Have I ranted enough about Julian getting abducted and pregnant? Absolutely not.

I swear that was the longest facepalm of my life. I've played this hood for three (3) rl years and for the whole time Julian's been glued to that damned telescope without aliens giving a shit.

Then literally at the same second I get the chronic relationship drama of this household solved (I had a solid idea what Cloud and Jonas were talking about and their topic choices agreed with me), Julian decides to celebrate by fetching a baby from the space!

As I eventually stopped facepalming and scrolled back to the kitchen, Cloud and Jonas suavely switched the topic from woohoo to space. If this game has ever mocked me, it was that moment.

i have Lot of picard series finale thoughts but heres one thats sticking out to me: if this season Isnt just fan fare, where the hell does shinzon's knife come into this? that alone had no reason to be there Except to be a call back and they had no connection or reason for it in the plot. unless i completely missed something, they shouldnt have used it unless it was going to pay off in plot

Any reason why GoRA only produced small amount of K First Story, K Missing Kings, & K RoK novels ? I kind of get it for K All Memories, cause that book is thick AF🤯. Is it bcs it's not that popular? Also are those 3 books has hard cover? I saw that it's kind of different than their novels such as LSW, DoB, MoR

The First Story is 623 pages and Missing Kings is 239 pages, Return of Kings isn’t out yet. Both books are hardcover (the other earlier Side novels, Kingdom of Red, R:B, Case Files and LSW are all heavier weight paperbacks, though you could get a ‘special edition’ with a cardboard sleeve too for LSW at least). I imagine the hardcover would be the main reason they’re more expensive, Gora did recently start selling a Kindle version of The First Story which is more in line with the prices of the other novels. I don’t actually recall how much I paid for LSW and Case Files but I believe it wasn’t all that much cheaper than the hardcover books were, most of the K books on Amazon now are being sold by third party sellers so it’s not really reflecting the standard price.

The First Story is still available on their King Records shop so I don’t know how limited that print run was, I assume Missing Kings will join it eventually. The only really limited book was All Memories, due to how huge it is and the fancy binding and such.
