"Hook, darling." Cruella purred, her crimson lips curling into a smile. "That crocodile skin coat of yours is simply divine. Such exquisite taste~"

Captain Hook's eyebrows arched in surprise and pleasure. "Why, thank you, Cruella. I must say, I'm rather impressed by it myself. Apologies, however, that you're reduced to wearing checkerboard faux leather. Quite a step down from your usual fur-clad splendor."

Cruella waved a dismissive hand, her eyes gleaming with a cunning spark. "Oh, think nothing of it, darling. Faux leather has its own... uhhh... 'charm!' Besides, I've been eyeing some lavender spots that caught my fancy~" Her gaze flicked toward Sulley, the towering blue and purple monster, who was strolling nearby with Jack Sparrow.

Jack, always the cheeky pirate, noticed Cruella's gaze and nudged Sulley with a playful elbow. "Look at you, Sullivan, catching the eye of that bird, Cruella, over there. She seems quite interested in you, don't you think?"

Sulley's eyes widened in surprise, and he chuckled awkwardly. "Uh, I don't think that's the case, Jack. And even if it were, I'm not sure how to respond to that."

Jack grinned mischievously. "Come on, mate! It’s not every day you get complimented by someone with such... distinctive tastes~"

Sulley shook his head, clearly weirded out by the notion. "Let's just focus on what we came here to do, Jack."

As they continued on their path, leaving Cruella and Hook to their fashionable musings.

Just a funny scenario I've had stuck in my head for a while. Cruella has her pirate bestie, and Sulley has his.

I love how canonically buddy-buddy Jack and Sulley are in Disney Mirrorverse. I smiled like an idiot every time Jack called him Sullivan.

Whenever I sell something from Not S&P Approved, I do a little doodle of Grunkle Stan on the packaging. I call it a Stanvelope. I even did a Fordvelope for one buyer because they were an (amazing) Ford cosplayer. Here are a few of my recent favourites.

There are currently at least 75 people walking around with my designs between all of the different marketplaces and my friends, and I can't tell you how utterly amazing that feels.

Perhaps to give a candid look at how my little business works, I sell my products on less than 10% margin because I absorb shipping costs. That's to try and keep them affordable for folks. Anything that you buy is really going towards this being a passion project, not lining my pockets, and that means the most of all.

It's a hell of a lot of fun, it's great to know people can get some merch that's a little different to other stuff on the market and it means I get to have a little impact on this weird little fandom.

Thank you. So, so much. These little envelope doodles are intended to say exactly that to those people for supporting my little business and keeping the dream of Gravity Falls alive.

RTD's defence of doctor who being put on Iplayer and Disney+ at 12am GMT is stupid.

And not stupid in a "why is he doing that" way, stupid in a "he's talking shite" way.

Don't get me wrong, I get he has to defend it to keep that disney money or whatever, but his responses to how this change affects fans of the show are bad, and to feign that it suits the viewers better is just a mockery.

He's, for some reason, saying kids should stay up till 2am to watch it and comparing it to midnight H*rry P*tter book releases, like an episode coming out ever week for a season and a physical book coming out once every 2 years or so is the same situation with the same spoiler risk I guess???

RTD has also said that it was easy for him, the 60 year old man, to avoid spoilers for Game Of Thrones while that was coming out in the morning so why can't we all just do the same. And also said if you're in any Doctor Who fan spaces online you'll get spoiled before the episodes come out anyway! Because people leaking the show, and Americans being able to watch and talk about the show before you because of how the release time suits them better is the exact same situation I guess!

Also him talking out his arse with "well the show being on at 6.30 made it so people working Saturday night shifts couldn't watch it so there's no release time that'll suit everyone" is really the cherry on top of him using shite excuses.

TLDR: While I understand why he has to defend this decision, his responses to the valid annoyances to the main audience of the show that live in a GMT time zone, or who will want to watch it on BBC 1, are out of touch, and the least he could do was come up with better excuses.

The thing about a lot of the purity culture stuff is how it's also propped up by the anti-intelectualism. Which is how you get people earnestly Charlie-day-cork-board style arguing why anything they don't like has incest subtext, while insulting anyone who actually cares about analyzing real incest subtext.

It's also hard to do any serious analysis of the state of queer works, when the well has been so thoroughly poisoned between prople policing who gets to write/enjoy it, vs writers who see regular engagement with the premise of their writing as a threat.

I can’t take people who say that Sneasler is the worst pokemon ever designed seriously when Aromatisse has existed since 2013. Especially since Sneasler is kind of the poster child of video essays regarding why “Legends Arceus bad”.

Let’s be real here, if Blaziken and Lucario were 8th/9th gen pokemon rather than 3rd and 4th gen respectively, they would be loathed and reviled instead of seen as untouchable and iconic.

is the lie that you never used to read AUs? I don't know how long ago that might have been, but I do know you read twsfnffa and I'm pretty sure thats an AU (I haven't read it yet, but I've heard you mention those!light a lot and it doesn't sound like canon light)

Good guess, but nope, that one is true! When I was new to this fandom and new to reading/writing fanfic I for some reason was really snooty about the concept of AUs. I only wanted to read things set in the canon universe that closely followed canon rules! 😅 I find it funny now, because I almost actually prefer AUs at this point when I read fanfic. Younger me was missing out

“You done figuring out the sound files yet?” Duke asked while tapping on the hood of the Batmobile.

He was excited to hear a campy “Yes, Sir!” Come out of the open windows of the car.

“Neat, first off, any files that have your name in it?” He was a little disappointed, but still snorted to hear the tragic ‘Noooooo’ from Darth Vader.

“I think Red Robin has some pronoun type files in there, what are yours?” A mix of sir’s, dude's, and bro's were played until Duke had to stop the guy.

“Ok, what about age?” He wasn't expecting to get a straight answer, but when the car played a Scooby-Doo cut of ‘those meddling kids’, he was confused.

“So a kid?” Duke questioned. He got a weird mix of 'Ehhh', 'Kinda', and 'close enough' type files.

“We can worry about that later, any ideas how you got stuck?” A short ‘Nope’ with a pop on the P played.

Talking to the car guy was strange. Getting answers could be easy or turn into 20 questions trying to clarify an answer. So far, Duke knew the person:

is male or male presenting

a meta

has no clue how he possessed the car

has a good understanding of current memes

was possibly in their teens (probably a bit younger than Duke, but older than Daimian)

was a street kid? (When asked where he lived the car played “Why should I worry” from an older Disney movie about homeless animals in New York or something. He had to look it up.)

has a good sense of humor

and is taking their situation in stride.

Duke really had to wonder what their life has been where this is not a vast problem to fix…. And whether or not he should argue his ‘notification tone’ being a choir singing.

He really does not get paid enough for this, but it is better than the other stuff Gotham throws at the Bats.

“Mind if I get you up on the lift and check the engine? Might give us some clues.” After an affirmative from the car guy, Duke got to work.
