Okay I want to try out making polls, so for this poll I just took all my current obsessions

*familiar as in has read some of the books/stories in these series

Sometimes I wonder how it must be to follow me for one of my two big fandoms and then suddenly seeing art/posts about the other fandom, which is vastly different in tone and setting.

#i.e. i wonder how it must be for tlt fans to follow me and suddenly see ponies #I imagine it's a little less jarring the other way around lmao #anyway I love the colorful and light and loving themes in mlp #the focus on friendship and softness and positive aspects #and I love tlt and its dark gritting setting with deep emotional themes of loss mourning pining and the darker sides of love #granted I dont really draw these darker themes - love seeing those parts in fandom anyway #I wonder how many of the followers are exclusively in one of the two and how many are in both #maybe its worth a poll at one point #my posts

To be honest I need to get used to "new" Mohg and Miquella fhhjhggb I wasn't strongly convinced in this or that version would be canon since there always been a possibility that DLC would joss my headcanons, I just internalized SO Mohg too far into my system hgghbbgc First Gehrman turned out to not be a creep, then Mohg turned out to not be a molester.. I'll never get my awful character fix lol hghfhgbh Seluvis: *stops existing apparently XD*

So yeah, I just need to like "real" Mohg and not idea of Mohg all over personally, I am just glad that we finally have canon word on it since this fandom really abhors "up to interpretation" sentiment (Twitbr too, not only Reddittubers :p ). Most fans are just not mature enough for Miyazaki's intended experience of crafting your own version by what he left vague

With Miquella I was prepared for earthquake as soon as the second trailer pushed his "kindness" too strongly, knowing Miyazaki's style of deceiving the fans 🤔 Didn't expect the choice of dynasty alliance that hasn't been foreshadowed at all! I know that for many people it was disheartening to find out Miquella was not so perfect but in fact very machiavellian though, it is just hard for me to say much because it hasn't been my fandom niche so far

^ The variants are intended for either case of having cared for one of these character's pre-DLC versions or both, so choose regardless of whichever character's expectation got jossed for you!
