Dear PJSK fandom! Stop downgrading An, Akito, Minori, and Mizuki into just LGBTQ characters, and making their events full of their gender, crush, and partnership!

And dear PJSK fandom, stop using Tsukasa as an angst dummy! He is NOTHING like Mafuyu!

And dear PJSK fandom, keep making HCS, analysis stuff, theories, stories/fics,art and ETC!!! (just hope that they make sense…)

It really upsets me when the fandom’s only way of two divorced characters ‘fixing’ their relationship is by re-marrying. What if they just end up close friends? Partners not by romantic standards? What if they aren’t even friends anymore but have simply reconciled?

I lived for so long as an arospec person thinking that the only way I could have a close bond was having a romantic relationship and when that romance was denied I felt. Entirely hopeless. Learning to unpack that worm in my brain that put romance on a pedestal and instead valuing the relationship I had with that friend—and all my friends in general saved me more than the hypothetical of me getting into that relationship ever could. It quite hurts seeing the agreed upon prospect of one of my favorite characters being she must remarry if their bond with their ex is to be fixed!!!!!

Sometimes relationships just can’t work out as romance. You must realize this. Kill the worm in your brain that says romance is the only way to fix such a problem and that romance is the end all be all in a relationship.

I‘m kinda starting to hate this trend of calling male characters (usually cishet too) "girl coded" or "babygirl" (and all the other variations) instead of engaging with media (or even within the same media) about women lol. When i like a male character i dont feel the need to pretend theyre something theyre not. Headcanons and jokes are all fine but this is rlly starting to piss me off.

So I was in the Gardevoir "fandom" during my HS years, f!Gardevoir my best girl, m!Gardevoir were mostly aroace(self-projection) but also my oppa, Gallade were the domestic Ken for f!Gardevoir (my actual favorite characterization of one, and my main OC was like that)

So you can tell how well THAT went already 🫠 (AMAB Gardevoir are still my oppa, gender neutral tho)

I could go on lengths ofc about the dudebro selfships and their lowkey appropriation of furry discrimination while doing so, but that's not what this is about

That shit I can pass over as pathetic. What still gets me came from the non-dudebro side of the fandom, and that was the rampant trophy-wifeing of f!Gardevoir

I could understand OTP mindsets, and the monogamy mindsets they come with. I could understand the "pokemon species as a character" mindsets. I TOTALLY LOVED AND COULD GET BEHIND MANY OF YOUR SHIPS THEMSELVES. What I resented in the end was all of them when combined though. And how it looked like I was the only one who cared about the girl character's side of things, for the girl character's own sake and merit, and tbh I could not care less if she was paired up with whichever one of your masc pokemon species of choice, or with all of them at once, as long as she was handled as the center of them, and with some actual "this is about HER" mindsets... but I felt like the only one feeling that way until the day I finally bailed 🫠

I hope it got better since then. I sincerely do.

unpopular opinion but no fan artist or fan writer should have to "apologise" for their absence or "delay" in updates; and nobody should ask them for explanations if they simply stop publishing their content one random morning. for whatever reason

I have seen a bunch of positivity/appreciation/whatever for fanwriters/artists but like. remember to appreciate your scanlators/translators. like the scanlating scene is not what it used to be because the official sources have picked up lot of like. popular mangas but you still rely on scanlators etc for more niche works and... I used to do lot of scanlating and I don't think I EVER got a positive comment or any appreciation and like... at least when I write and share my unhinged fic or art I made it to amuse myself but if I am scanlating a comic I already can read it obviously so ANY work I am putting in is 100% for other people... I have literally scanlated whole-ass series because I knew ONE person read them at all and I wanted them to experience a series I liked. If people don't like your work tho why would anyone do it then?

say what you want about the heroes of olympus series. but plucking your main character out of a story. giving them amnesia. and placing them in a different world with different rules goes so hard. allowing the audience to watch the character grow. allowing the audience to grow up with the character. allowing the audience to fall in love with the character. and then plucking said character out of a world with their name stamped on it. and the main character nonetheless? is such a genius move.

I've been a part of this fandom for 3+ years. As many redraws and fanfics I've seen of the brothers + side characters being and doing any and everything and watching you all eat that shit up.

But you take your grimey, dusty, crumb caked fingers to type about "blackwashing" being a problem? How many fucking times have I seen "Leviathan has autism" or "trans Asmodeus" or Lucifer getting his ass pounded by Diavolo for the 10,000th time only for all of you to cry about "feeling represented" and applauding these artists/writers for being the paradigm of fandom inclusivity, but someone draws a character Black or ships them with their Black OC/MC and suddenly things need to be "canon compliant." Now shit don't make sense. Now we have to stick to the rules.

Genuinely, fuck all of you. If I could draw, all your faves would be Black and wear matching bonnets/durags with my Black OC/MCs.
