PROJECT PEAK SHORTS REVAMP ANNOUNCEMENT 🗻📚

Turns out I did end up getting everything done, so it's ready to be shared. It's been months since I made the first episode of Project Peak Shorts, and I spent a while not enjoying the style, formatting, and theme of it. It was nearly my first time making a comic, but since then my artstyle has gone through changes, and I feel less restricted in my creativity. So, today I took a step back and focused on how I want it to look first and foremost, I thought about whats easiest for me to draw, and whats fastest.

Here's the revamped logo, as well as the references I will be following for Siber and Gia:

I much prefer doing lineless art nowadays, I've switched up my artstyle after realizing this and my preferences have changed. For the comics, I've made it so that I do the colors first, and then add lines on top of it. This makes it easier and faster for me, and gives it that "polished" feel I enjoy.

It may end up a little inconsistent, but if I can properly tell a story through the comics and have fun while doing so it'll help with motivation and my upload rate.

I have BIGG plans for the comics, more than I did before. At first it was going to be a small, cute, side story thing, and for the most part it still will be, HOWEVER, I would like to made it more lore involved, and develop my own story mode through the comics. It's going to be what drives the character growth, what the story would be like if Project Peak were an actual game, and let me properly learn about my own characters I've worked so hard to build.

anywho, holy YAP.... I've already begun writing everything via google doc, so I can plan out everything beforehand, heres a sneak peek on the names of the first 5 shorts:

I have one more band and a few other characters to make before my entire character roster is complete. Afterwards, I'll actually start working on the website I swear lol

Congrats on team past for winning! Coincidentally, my fan idols were originally based on team past, so they're canon now!

Night Moon son un dúo de idols que se formó para reemplazar a las actuales y oficiales idols de shadowlands mientras estas estaban de gira temporalmente, Lune y Lazul se conocieron por primera vez cuando audicionaron para ser el reemplazo de las anteriores idols, técnicamente el nombre real del dúo es "Nightmare Moon" pero debido a que a sus gerentes no les gustaba el nombre decidieron acortarlo a "Night Moon"

Night Moon generalmente es un grupo algo unpopular y rechazado, esto es debido al extraño comportamiento de sus miembros y su falta de talento nato, por suerte los pocos fans que se han ganado son fieles

Night Moon are an idol duo that was formed to replace the current and official shadowlands idols while they were temporarily on tour, Lune and Lazul met for the first time when they auditioned to be the replacement for the previous idols, technically the real name of the duo is "Nightmare Moon" but because their managers didn't like the name they decided to shorten it to "Night Moon"

Night Moon is generally a somewhat unpopular and rejected group, this is due to the strange behavior of its members and their lack of natural talent, luckily the few fans they have gained are loyal

All Shores, the splatoon 4 idols!!! had these brewing in my head a lot because i really wanted their style to emulate the 60s. will hopefully draw their full outfits soon! They're a group who take inspiration from different eras of music, but their main inspiration is 60s pop and funk. ive also been thinking of their special splatfest fits.... so much to consider!!!! From top left to bottom right, we have the inkling Reef Anakena, the octoling Flurry Kvalvika, the blue dragon slug Sandy Lailai, and the feather star Rocco Baker. They're mainly based on the four guardians in chinese folklore, like how deep cut are based on the three poisions, off the hook are the crane and tortoise, and squid sisters are the tanuki and kitsune. additional info on their names and personalities...

What if we talked on a podcast together because our overlord caved to our demands only once

What if we were put together cause you were really good at fighting but were lazy because you were busy making music badly, so they got me the really good musician who's committed to the war to teach you music so you'd do your job

What if I secretly really loved watching you trip and fall only for me to help you and see you grow in your music career?

What if we had a falling out where you thought I was using you to get ahead in the social hierarchy after you taught me the right way to use my weapon and I got more attention then you in the music industry despite our collaborations

And what if you also decided to desert the war and leave and never be seen again and-

What if I sat alone eating ice cream because the girl I loved left me thinking I was using her.

What if I just loved helping her get her standing and the way she always went crazy when she got something right what if I really did miss her laugh what if she had a really cool thought process that differed from my own style and I thought that was neat what if-
