Next batch of fict covers. I didn't think of this before but like aside from one shots, I don't have many complete dp x DC ficts I read. I am following a ton of WIPs but very few multi chaptered complete ones. Hell, matter of opinion is a oneshot but I included it because I love unhinged go for the throat Jazz 🥰

I actually have a fict I am workshopping that is a spinoff of Vacation Crashers. It's supposed to be a silly thing but HP x DC got me by the throat.

If you are a Jason Todd fan and you haven't read Gotham Banksy then idk what you doing with your life. I think I did a bit outside my usual minimal thing for this one but I was really going for the obvious so I can remember the plot at a glance so it's a bit on the nose.

Next round is probably gonna be all whump because I love seeing my boys in pain 💃

Two fanfiction covers I made for two Ficts I love so much. Darling Boy just completed (MIND THE TAGS LIKE SO SERIOUS MIND THE TAGS) and jube always cooks up something nice. I had made another cover for family you made but it was trash. I want to make one for borderline (which is also fanfuckingtastic) but I need to get some better ideas for it (and I am like waiting for the sequel on tenderhooks)

I made these in canva because I am not a designer and Photoshop makes my computer dry heave. I really made them for personal use (so my ebook shelf would look pretty) but I still wanna show em off.

Fun details!

Whyin (the district attorney aka Y/N) has no shadow! This is on purpose to show their simi-separate from the others! Their pose is also simi-lifted to show they are more puppet like than the others! The eyes behind them have 3 specific lines of sight! First is actor himself, then is themself and CM, and then is the viewer!

CM (copy mark) is front stage with them as Co-Star on all adventures! You can tell he plays many roles because of his many branching shadows! (Aka: Yancy, Illinois, Engineer, Barrel and Date Mark) his expression is a more welcoming mirror of the actors, because he is everything the actor pretends to be! he's beckoning the viewer to join him! As always!

Actor! His skin is more of a yellowish hue because he took over Damian's dead body! There's also the ball of red string to mimic the branching looping Timeline of the series! It's done in a cat's cradle to show he's weaving it by hand! The strings controlling the others all come from him!

Dark is attempting to choke actor out, but you can only see his hands because he always works from the shadows! He's also reaching through the silhouette of the mirror frame!

The craziest thing just happened to me. So I recently found an app that reads my fanfics aloud. Which I think is a great app to have because I've been able to find grammatical errors I didn't know about.

Anyways, I've been listening to my WIPS all day while I work on said WIPs fixing the errors as I hear them. And while listening to the one I'm currently working on, I started realizing it didn't sound right, but familiar. At around chapter 3, I figure out the problem.

It's the original version that I wrote back in 2021. A version that I lost because I had to reset the phone I had been writing it on. I never expected to find it again, so I rewrote it from memory, more or less. The original version is a bit better, imo.

The current version has pretty much crawled to a halt due to lack of engagement and other WIPs taking priority. So now I have problem. Do I finish the original version? Do I merge both versions? Do I try and finish the current version? Do I just abandon both?

the inspo for this cover was originally the "a court of thorns and roses" series, but i clearly drifted away from that. but anyways, this is seriously one of the best fics i've ever read!!! (find it here) it really lives up to the tag gothic horror, and i'm frankly obsessed. PLEASE read lilyconrads work. IT'S INCREDIBLE. i stayed up till sunrise on multiple occasions just to unravel this fic.
