The question is why do people need to buy fake Instagram followers? 

Everyone in the digital marketing jungle is trying to get more Instagram followers to gain popularity. Doing so gradually by posting quality content can take some time for a business that just established on the digital network world and many would rather invest in buying fake followers than slowly trying to grow their online notoriety, even though it doesn’t actually make them more popular but just look more popular. Unless an account was featured by Justin Bieber, you will always see a steady flat or increase line.  If you see a sudden increase of 1000s in 24 hours it’s pretty obvious the followers are fake. Go ahead check their tagged posts on that date for a huge feature. However generally with features, it will be spread out over a few days thanks to Instagram’s algorithm. A decline like the below usually means someone bought followers in the past and they are dropping off or being banned.

In this case more than 50% of their followers are fake as you can see 36.1 percent are Mass followers - which are accounts who have more than 1500 followings. Fake Followers Scam: Deepika, Priyanka To Be Questioned!

Sometimes we wonder how come a super talented heroine only has 1 million followers on Instagram while some struggling starlets have more than 5 million fans. While glamorous stars get most followers in this arena, it is being heard that many big starlets are actually buying fake followers. Mumbai Police have other day identified almost 68 companies that offer services to increase retweets, likes, view, subscriptions, comments and followers of social media accounts. And they have found that a French company Followerskart is also a part of this huge scam. Guess what, among our star heroines, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are likely to get questioned regarding this scam. Police identified that both Deepika and Priyanka have huge number of fake followers among the millions of followers they have. Deepika enjoys 50 million followers on Instagram and 27+ million followers on Twitter, while Priyanka has 55+ million on Instagram and 26+ million followers on Twitter.
