Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Whenever the Sowing and Reaping is heard in the Christian preaching definitely it leads the hearers to the concept of prosperity because often the preachers use it for to connect it with the money. But what does the Bible say about it? Every Christian must know the true meaning of this so that they can not be deceived.

Sowing and Reaping is a very common phrase for many pastors to speak about giving them the tithe or speaking about the money. They use this concept and they give their own interpretation so that would make benefit to their kingdom not to the kingdom of God. The concept of preaching or going to the church has now become about prosperity. If preacher has the desire of becoming rich then the people who hear him will have the same. But Our Lord has already warned us about all these in the holy scripture but we failed to read it or study it or to understand it. In

Galatians 6:7-8.

Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows,

because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Here it is very clear about what is meant for Sowing and what it is meant for Reaping. If the person sows to his flesh then he falls into the corruption and that leads him to destruction. Sowing is meant for pleasing. Living in this crooked world one must not fall into the trap of the devil, devil always tries to tempt God's people and that temptation includes all desires, things of this world that please to their sinful nature. By doing this they bring their own destruction upon themselves. The destruction is nothing but Hell.

And the person who sows to the Holy Spirit then he will reap eternal life. Here sowing is pleasing to the Holy Spirit. How do we please God the Holy Spirit? We please the Holy Spirit by obeying the Word of God and living according to it. Then Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will give us the Eternal Life.

This is what the Bible says about the Sowing and Reaping. Then why do other pastors or preachers connect this to money or prosperity? Because the devil tempts God's People through these false preachers to fall into the trap of becoming rich and being prosperous in this world so that the people would forget God and live according their desires of sinful nature which brings destruction.

The true  Christian must not fall into this trap of devil which comes through false prophets or false preachers. So study the Word of God and understand the Word of God and live according to the Word of God.I Pray that God would enrich you in His Word More and More. Thank you and God bless You
