          ❝ it’s never going to truly heal. ❞ it’s said in a fairly neutral tone, one not meant to harm nor ridicule. this isn’t a show of power -- it’s the closest thing to CARING that miss raven will show to the other as she catches him staring at his own reflection. it’s been a few months since the INCIDENT but she hadn’t meant to permanently disfigure him -- KILL him, sure, but not this. now, she can’t seem to keep her eyeless gaze away from his face, seeking confirmation of her statement. she knows she may not get one, as people don’t USUALLY react well to finding the woman in their homes as she is now, patiently waiting on the couch with her men scattered across his home.
