In the late 1970's and early 1980's, the leaders of the "Christian" right - aka Evangelicals - made a deal with the Republican party where they would deliver up their congregations' voters by politicizing the pulpit. They deceived their congregations by blaming "evil Godless" Democrats and liberals for all the country's problems while casting Republicans as God-fearing Christians. What a f*ckin joke that turned out to be! Republican/MAGA Evangelicals wouldn't recognize Jesus if came back and stared them in their hypocritical Godless faces.

The true evil is using the Bible and the church to spread bigotry, racism and lies.
