Bruce Wayne had a child that was somehow kidnapped right out of the hospital just hours after being born. He of them ever stopped looking despite how cold the trail had grown.

Years later there is some rouge attack and a civilian child was injured and taken to the hospital. Bruce does a DNA test on the blood found at the scene and concludes that the child is actually his long lost kid.

Dani was planning to sneak out of the hospital the moment the doctors stopped looking at her. Then Bruce Wayne of all people comes in and claims that she is his long lost child. She knows that this is very impossible because she is a clone, but Bruce won't listen to her and she really doesn't want to explain the clone thing to a "normal" stranger.

This does brings up a lot of questions about how Danny ended up living with the Fentons though.

those newer fans can't possibly understand, having years of super dramatic and depressing depictions of stanley pines' fake death, only for us to get a silly straw dummy and the worst acting stan has done in his entire life

(altho i suppose months of everyone hc-ing that ford wore a turtleneck 24/7 because he's ashamed of his scars, only for us to get all-star tattoo-ed comes pretty close)

also an au where gf cops were slightly more competent and stan ends up being the prime suspect in his own murder because a man mysteriously dies after meeting his estranged twin who suddenly is inviting people to his murder hut....

arthur is immortal in the same way merlin is immortal, he can die but he bounces back after a while. merlin putting arthurs body on a boat and sending him out onto the lake but not burning him as he did to lancelot and freya. merlin disappearing off the face of the earth, unable to go back to camelot where every stone is carved with arthur's name, every room holds the faintest echo of his laughter, the shadows cast by the flickering flames of torches match each line and curve of arthur's body which merlin had memorized after years of dressing and undressing him, wandering and lingering hands that were just casual enough to pass off as platonic.

arthur crawling out of the lake the night after the morning merlin put him to rest, dazed, confused, and alive. arthur searches for merlin but can't find him. he's disappeared. gwen rules camelot as queen, she lifts the ban on magic, and rules fairly. arthur is content to leave his kingdom with her as he searches the land for merlin. he visits every place he and merlin every visited but he's nowhere to be found. time passes but arthur only grows more desperate. he's sure he's searched every inch of albion twice. no merlin.

enough time passes, everyone he's known has died and he looks exactly as he did when mordred drove his blade into his abdomen. arthur is forced to admit to himself that enough time has passed that merlin was bound to have died, leaving arthur all alone. immortal merlin is literally like chilling in ireland or some shit. but both immortal idiots are living in the same area and end up just missing each other. literally like end up holding the door to a coffee shop for one another but they don't meet each other's gazes bc they're busy mourning each other

I like to think that Jade is clueless about surface romance, so imagine Jade watching Romcons to get a glimpse of how humans courtship each other, and now he's daydreaming about experiencing all of the Romcon cliches with Yuu.

I'm talking about: Kissing in the rain, "There's only one bed" or "we are all snowed up in a tiny cabin", waking up in the morning tangled together, tucking a strand of hair behind their ear and so on.

Realistically, Jade would do enough research to know that all those romcom clichés are just that, clichés or tropes only for entertainment and rarely something that occurs in real life. He probably thinks they're a little ridiculous even, do humans really think these things are romantic? They're so...dumb!

BUT I like to think there's another part of him that sorta realizes the appeal once he's in love. Suddenly, the idea of 'there's only one bed' isn't so dumb and easily fixed when it's with you! Falling asleep at opposite ends of the bed, only to awake tangled in each other's arms? Oh! What bliss!

A fake dating? Not so funny now, he can't imagine the agony of pretending that his feelings are fake! Chasing after you in the rain just to steal a kiss? Well, it's no dazzling, bioluminescent cave under the sea, but it works.

These romcoms seem quite popular with humans, maybe you like them too? Perhaps he should act out some scenarios with you, just for fun. Yes, nothing more, no deeper reasoning…just experimentation…he's just curious is all!
