ARTWORK LP: Van McCoy and his Magical Movie Machine (Hugo & Luigi)
This LP contains three Medley's across both sides with a common call out in the intro to each, "Disco Movies...", side Two for example contains a single medley mashing up; Theme from Shaft, Doctor Zhivago and the Magnificent Seven, though perhaps not prolifically nor to my taste, the potential for looping and extending sections has kind of been orchestrated for you.
arr. Van McCoy, 1977. Other musicians include Richard Tee, Cornell Dupree, Phil Bodner, Urbie Green, Gene Orloff and vocalist Zulema with female soul trio, Faith, Hope & Charity.
Cover Art by Jim O'Connell.

Jenna Coleman and Martin Compston in Victoria (2016) Faith, Hope & Charity
S2E6
1846:- Potato blight brings widespread famine to largely Catholic Ireland and compassionate vicar Robert Traill, faced with apathy by a bigoted Protestant clergy, writes to Victoria for assistance. Deeply moved by his letter she is anxious to help and is shocked when Peel refuses, claiming that to show favouritism to the Irish would cause resentment at home, undermining his government. She invites Dr Traill to visit her to explain how the Irish church has contributed to his parishioners' plight, prompting her to again ask Peel to send relief - but it is too late for the typhus-stricken Dr Traill and a million of his countrymen. Ernest has his own health problems whilst Albert busies himself improving sanitation for London and Francatelli shows an act of great kindness to assistant dresser Miss Cleary to aid her family in Ireland.
*During the potato famine, Victoria is shown with her newly born daughter, Alice. Alice was born in 1843. So, she turned two the year famine began in 1845.

My children, the three acts of faith, hope, and charity contain all the happiness of man upon the earth. By faith, we believe what God has promised us: we believe that we shall one day see Him, that we shall possess Him, that we shall be eternally happy with Him in heaven. By hope, we expect the fulfillment of these promises: we hope that we shall be rewarded for all our good actions, for all our good thoughts, for all our good desires (for God takes into account even our good desires). What more do we want to make us happy? [… L]ove; oh, we shall be inebriated with it! We shall be drowned, lost in that ocean of divine Love, annihilated in that immense charity of the Heart of Jesus! So that charity is a foretaste of heaven.
Saint Jean Vianney (Catechetical Instructions, Chapter 2).

"People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway."
Inscribed on the wall of Mother Teresa's children's home in Calcutta.

building hope that the sheer hatred of labor and/or the inability to escape it are maybe temporary or treatable and then i get a phone call from my incredibly talented and hard-working and Way More Normal Than Me sister saying "yeah i heard you got a new job and it feels like crushing your bones. same here. im about to run out of maternity leave and its weighing on me like a curse. work takes up all my time. i havent had a hobby in years. were moving out in hopes of having a cheaper situation so my husband can afford to take care of my baby while i work. sooo we're moving to living in an rv on your parents' lawn haha [note: i also live w these parents. they both work and have major depression]" my sister. my sister who works a very professional job in the same field as me and is almost 30 and is married and lives in a (rented) house and has come strongly and bravely out of every shitty situation her unfortunate life put her in. and she got some financial support from our parents, because they could do that when she was my age. she's definitely had worse circumstances, i didn't have a teen pregnancy, but... if it's that bad for her, and my mom says she still feels the endless crushing pain of having to work, even being middle aged and working a job she likes on a flexible schedule? is there any reasonable hope, any solutions that don't involve an equal amount of work (the problem in the first place) to get there?
