i genuinely do not understand why bisexuals and bisexuality are threatening to anyone. i do not understand how a bisexual person in a lesbian space is a threat. i do not understand how a bisexual trans person is a threat. i do not understand why a bisexual gay person is a threat. i do not understand why a bisexual multigender person is a threat. i do not understand why masculine, gender conforming bisexual men are a threat. i do not understand why feminine, gender conforming bisexual women are a threat. i do not understand why bisexual intersex people are a threat

what is there to be threatened by? bisexuality challenges a lot of binaries, and can actually challenge gender binaries as well. this is a very good thing. bisexuals are not insisting that there are only 2 genders, or that you can only be attracted to men and women. far from it. since the beginning, people have been defining their bisexuality in a myriad of ways, and that is why our community is as broad and diverse as it is today. though it's okay to be, bisexuals are not always part straight- many bisexuals feel all of their attraction is queer. bisexuals can be asexual. bisexuals can be gays and lesbians. bisexuals can be men, women, trans people, intersex people, multigender people, genderfluid people, genderqueer people, agender people... anyone

bisexuality is a broad experience that's shared by many people identifying in many different ways. that's a very good thing. diversity is beautiful. there's nothing threatening about bisexuality. the ones who find us threatening are queerphobes... why do you carry that same fear?
