Who is the best Rogue in fiction published since 1980 and why is it Lyra "Silvertongue" Belacqua?
Maybe? I haven't actually read His Dark Materials.
But here's a hot take: your Rogue card is immediately revoked if you're an Oh So Special Chosen One. (Even if you're Locke Lamora? Yes, even then.) You can still be roguish, just not a Rogue. Rogues don't have prophecies about them, don't pull swords off stones, and don't inherit thrones (though they might steal a few). Rogues are nobodies, the salt of the earth, and they aren't destined to do anything. They make their own luck. Like this guy.

Warnings: Kidnapping, Abduction, Major Spoilers for The Barbie Movie, Unhinged Post, Possessive Ken, Ken Just Wants to be Loved, Petnames, Ken Being Condescending, Post-Patriarchy Ken, No Pronouns Used for Reader Except 'You'.
Simply put, you’d charmed Ken. Made his non-existent heart flutter and a feeling he always associated with Barbie to overtake him. Been in the wrong place at the right time. Hence, less than a few hours after your meeting with Kenneth, you were in Barbieland. Sorry - Kendom Land.
You’d made the mistake of asking him for the time, in a rush to make it to work. And, with a twinkle in his eye and a seeming newfound sense of purpose, he proclaimed that “You respect me!”
Dazed and with little else you could say, you shrugged. “I mean…I guess…?”
And that was enough for him.
“I must go – get back to Barbieland – spread the news about patriarchy!”
You'd humoured him, more for the promise of your own safety than actual agreement, and he tipped his hat to you, billowing away in the direction of Venice Beach in a haze of his own world.
You managed to dodge him initially, untangling yourself from his vacant stare and making it to work unscathed.
On your way to lunch a few hours after, however, you were accosted again.
Of course, by none other than Ken Carson.
Who, having put all he’d learnt from his books on horses, the Wild West, and patriarchy, literally lassoed you and threw you onto his shoulder.
“We’ve gotta get you back to Barbieland – the Kens are not gonna believe this !”
On your journey back to this mysterious place, Ken explained to you how Barbies usually rule everything while the Kens are left with nothing.
“But, with you at my side, I’m sure we can make it right!”
You genuinely chalked this guy up to be insane, if at most, an escaped patient.
However, as you traversed 2D landscapes, you were more inclined to believe him. That this fabled Babrietopia did in fact exist.
And, once you get there, you become Patriarchy Ken’s personal servant.
He tells you to “Brewski Beer” him, all the while talking about how his initial conception of patriarchy had been that it was “Horses who ran the world, but it’s actually men — and horses are men extenders.”
He calls you his “bride-wife” or “groom-husband”, which, compared to the other Kens’ long-term distance low-commitment casual partners, seems oddly…endearing. Dangerously permanent.
With no idea how to get back to the Real world, you’re stuck with Ken and his entourage of fellow Kens, the Barbies either indoctrinated into their way of thinking or in hiding.
Speaking of, you are basically Ken’s property.
And he treats you as such whenever one of the other Kens tries to accost your service.
His tone is low, eyes sharp. “(Y/N) is my long-term distance low-commitment partner, not yours, Ken.”
And, to show as much, you get to sit on the floor next to Ken as he watches the Godfather with his Kentourage, talking through the whole thing, commenting on its ingenuity and nuance.
He also makes you stay nearby whenever he changes outfits - which is just him changing into another faux mink coat, pants and headband.
Despite being this new, independent, untethered Ken, he asks your opinion on things which seem largely inconsequential. Still, you sense something unstable. Insecurity, perhaps.
"What about...this coat?"
"Isn't that the same as the last one you showed me?"
Ken looks at your glass reflection in the wardrobe doors. His smile glitches, falters. He replaces it.
"Yeah, course - I was just testing you, seein' if you were paying attention."
Whenever you get a moment alone, away from the madness of the Kens, it’s short-lived. For Ken is never far behind, seeming to materialise in the doorway of whatever room of the Dreamhouse you’ve adopted as your refuge.
“What’s wrong, tiny baby?” He says, sauntering over to you, snake-like.
“I want to go home, Ken,” You tell him, voice racked with sobs, tears in your eyes.
He just gives you a narrowed, confused look, adopting an almost incredulous posture as if to say ‘Why?’
“First of all, I don’t like your tone, Doll,”
He steps towards you. You step back.
“Second of all, why in Kendom Land would you wanna leave ?" Another step forward. Another step back. "This is the dream of any patriarch’s partner to be where you are now; it should feel just like home !” Another step forward, another step ba-
Your legs hit the edge of the bed.
It doesn’t matter how hurt - or frightened - you look. Ken doesn’t listen.
“And besides, do you know how many Barbies would kill to be where you are now ? I know Weird Barbie would.” And he smiles – smirks – as if he’s triumphed you in some way only he is aware of, hands on his waist. The image of power.
Ken tends to test his boundaries when it comes to physical affection.
Seeing as he received none with Barbie, he seems to want to try his luck with you.
And yes, this does include him puckering his lips and staying stood in front of you until one of you caves.
Usually, it’s him, causing him to retract and act as if nothing happened. Which it didn’t.
But when he really wants a kiss, he can persist for hours.
You timed him. Two hours and three minutes until you relented and pecked him.
“Wow,” he says, every time, as if it’s the first time, his eyes clouded with dreams and what you could only pen as whimsy.
He’s incredibly touch-starved. Show him an ounce of willing and he’ll be overjoyed in his own, new, macho way. Though, he does have a hard time containing a squeal whenever you touch skin.
Secretly, he's entranced by how...human you are. how different you feel and talk to the other dolls in his Kendom.
He's developed an obsession interest with your hands, holding them in his, telling you how small and soft your hands are compared to his.
He squeezes them whenever he gets the chance, commenting on how "Squishy" your fingers are, despite you having a skeleton beneath your skin - a concept that blows Ken away every time you explain it to him.
He also adores hugs. Though, he only hugs you/lets you hug him when out of view of other Kens. He needs to protect his image as the stoic leader, after all.
Loves a cuddle; goes stupid crazy for them.
He favours holding you to his chest and resting his chin atop your head. He finds your warmth a foreign comfort. While you find his lack of a heart – and a beat – a discomfort.
“S’nice and warm,” he says, eyes closed, the image of laxity. "Being here with you."
He mumbles that last part. You know not to inquire further. The Kens consider any form of genuine affection to be a weakness.
It’s in your best interest to just let him stay there and talk about whatever it is he’s fascinated himself with, lest you wish to incur a temper tantrum or the cold shoulder.
Aside from being a fan of hand-holding, he's also a partaker in wrist-holding.
If you ever do something to aggravate him, he tends to grip your wrist hard enough to make you wince, his jaw clenched, eyes narrowed.
“Something wrong, Babe?” He’ll say, tone deep with simmering wrath.
You know not to push it with Ken.
Despite how platinum and perfect he is, he does harbour a resentment which, whether caused by you or not, he seems to target you with.
Talked to a Ken for too long, or in a way he didn’t like?
He’s going to embarrass you in front of him. Make you seem undesirable to all who are not himself.
He knows he can’t make you disappear, given the fact that you’re mortal. But he knows he can make other Kens disappear; an idea that, the first time it appeared to him, frightened him, made him confront a darker half he’d repressed. But, as time went on, he’s learnt to harness it in ways you’d never have suspected from a Ken.
Not that you’d know it from the way he treats you, but he does actually care for you.
Perhaps…as much as, even more so, than he does — did — for Barbie.
He doesn’t feel like he’s tethered to any one job or image when he’s with you; his identity is not an extension of yours. But, he does try to treat yours as if it is an extension of his.
“Babe, hurry up with those beers — the game’s about to start !”
He knows you’re impervious to the effects of his brainwashing, given that you’re from the Real World, so he feels that you’re the most genuine person in Kendom Land. Hence he tends to treat you with equal harshness and care.
This also often leads to Ken asking you things about your world. Things he doesn’t yet have the answers for.
His favourite pastime is to lay his head on your thighs while you sit against the headboard of his bed, asking you any and all questions that come to mind.
“What’s your favourite colour?”, “Where does the sun go when it’s night time?”, “What did you do at your job?”
Personal ones like that last one often cause you to tense, and Ken can tell. He tends to refrain from asking you such questions now, seeing as any reminder of your life prior to this cause you to, what he has learnt to call it, cry.
Despite how tone-deaf Kenneth can be, he is actually rather intuitive. Or, rather, considerate.
When you’d told him your favourite colour, he’d painted his bedroom walls in it. Albeit a slap-dash job of it, given how interior design is not in his box description like Interior Design Ken, but he tried !
Despite his small acts of kindness being his attempts to imitate comfort, they do little to calm you. For everything he says, does, discussing a future with you in Kendom Land, changing aspects of his world to cater to your preferences, feel as if you are to take up unwilling, permanent residence here.
And, while you wait and plot for a way to escape, you exist as a perpetual puppet for Ken to mither and berate and order around.
In the real world, a doll has started appearing on shelves – a new range of ‘Misery Barbie/Ken’ dominating the toy aisles of every supermarket and toy store, your visage wrapped tightly in every box.
Tears, an outfit demeaning enough to make a grandmother faint, and the unwavering expression of the need for freedom.

Edward Robert Hughes - Bertuccio's Bride (1895)
The picture illustrates a story by Gian Francesco Straparola, a writer of whom little is known except that he was born in Caravaggio and died about 1557. Though credited with an early volume of poetry (1508), his most famous work is Le piacevole notte, a collection of novelle published in Venice 1550-3. In form this closely resembles Boccaccio's earlier and more familiar collection, the Decameron. Boccaccio's stories are told by a group of young men and women who have retreated to Fiesole to escape the plague-ridden city of Florence, Straparola's by a party which has gathered on the island of Murano during the Venetian carnival; they are led by Ottavino Maria Sforza, bishop-elect of Lodi, and include, among other notabilities, Pietro Bembo himself. The originality of the stories lies in the inclusion of many oriental folk tales and the use of animal fables - among them the famous tale of 'Puss in Boots', which Straparola seems to have invented. The stories are often rabelaisian, and many have priests as protagonists. This was considered offensive to Counter-Reformation sensibilities, and the book was placed on the Index in 1624. (source)

Italian literature tournament - First round.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda in support of the authors is accepted, you can write it both in the tag if reblog the poll (explaining maybe that is propaganda and you want to see posted) or in the comments. Every few days it will be recollected and posted here under the cut.
The propaganda here are in order from left to right, first Carlo Gozzi and then Guid Cavalcanti
Carlo Gozzi propaganda by @girlboccaccio
Do you like theatre? Do you like opera? Are you interested in commedia dell'arte? Do you like fables with dubious morales, fairy tales with dark hidden meanings, plays inspired by 16th morally ambiguous short tales and The thousand and one nights? If yes you should take two second and vote for Carlo Gozzi (yeah the funky guy in b/w on the left). Without him we couldn't have masterpieces like Puccini's Turandot and The Love for Three Oranges by Sergei Prokofiev. He was a great admirer of spanish literature and theatre. He defended commedia dell'arte and funky plays when this manners of making theatre were dying. Immaculate yeah? He wrote an autobiography named Useless Memories, truly cunty, right? He was a rate A+ hater when he decided to start shitting against the king of the new modern way of writing theatre, Carlo Goldoni. He died in a Country that stopped existing in the last decade of his life (The Not So Serene Republic Of Venice) and lost all his friends in exile. He was the bitch of the venetian intellectual life. He was the bitch of the coolest italian actresses of the time. He was friend with Francesco Algarotti, the loveboy of Frederich the Great.
Fella, if you love the 18th century, you have only one choice in you hand: vote Carlo Gozzi.
Propaganda in favor of Guido Cavalcanti by @eresia-catara
May I add further propaganda for Guido: He's a noble, he disdains aristocrats, he was Florence's number one Server of Cunt, he was the city's faggot, he was heretical, he went on a random pilgrimage but interrupted it and managed to be buried in a church anyway, he had an archenemy who sent some men to murder him on said pilgrimage, he came back and tried to murder him back in plain daylight, he gave zero fucks about politics, he got exiled because he was considered a menace for the city. He SAW DANTE's poetical talent, encouraged it, shaped it, and through him the whole of italian literature. Think about it. Also they became besties until they evolved to a tormented psychosexual haunting dynamic (see break-up poem) where Dante himself actually exiled him. In the 13th century his poetry anticipates so many of the literary themes of the XXth century, going from fragmentation of the self (his is basically vivisection and dispersion of his parts), to dissociation from one's own mind and body, lack of identity, irony, desecration, his poetry is full of schizophrenic-like hallucinations, reading them is truly a trip, and yet his language is profoundly meoldic and sweet. And there's also gender-fuckery. and theater, of course, because his poems develop like a scene from a theater (adding layers to the dissociation). So really he has it all guys.

Round One/10, Poll
Tumblr media
P. Craig Russell, artist #50
VS.
Tumblr media
Charles Vess, artist #19
Two of the probably most beloved Sandman artists, so this will be a tough choice for many.
If you would like to refresh your memory:
P. Craig Russell: Fables & Reflections #50: “Distant Mirrors—Ramadan”, Endless Nights: “Death—Death and Venice”, The Dream Hunters
Charles Vess: Dream Country #19: “A Midsummer Nights’s Dream”, The Kindly Ones #62, The Wake #75: “The Tempest”
And remember, you are voting for your favourite version of Dream, not the particular storyline.
Who is your favourite and why? Let us know in the comments/reblogs. Share your thoughts about their art, your favourite panels from their issues, or even other art they created and help us turn this into an artist appreciation post.
Here’s the poll to vote for your favourite if you want to see them again (you can find the whole bracket and some additional info here, and feel free to check out previous matches via the tag #sandman march mania):

INFO:
Legend and Ravio are both boys. Tomodachi makes one mii choose from opposite gender miis when creating the love speech bubble, but doesn't do anything else to stop same gender couples. This means one can use the save editor to edit the love speech bubble and then those miis will be a couple if the other accepts. This has some limitations of course, I'll explain everything in a new post!
As you might have imagined, some of these miis have been put together with the help of the save editor. From now on the relationship won't be edited if not for family relationships like siblings and parent/child, for example putting Sun as Gaepora's kid when I create him.
You can send asks and suggestions >:D
At the moment, I put my ocs as the best friends of some Links, based on their adventure in Hyrule. Each of my human ocs has traveled to a different era in Hyrule. Chat in Sky's, Thun in Four’s, Ami in Time's, Piff in Twilight’s, Diggi in Wars's, and Locky in Wild's.
I can mod the game, I'm planning on doing a texture hack for the clothes so I can add each hero’s tunic (and LU outfit), each Sonic character's clothes and fur colors, and each oc's outfit! Later, I might create new models for the hats so I can make a good hero's hat, better wigs, and finally give real quills to the hedgehogs! But this would be the first time I create models so have mercy XD

When a heart is free for a long time, its owner runs a great risk of being easily deceived by beautiful words and verses that fit well into the sad story she carries about loves back then. An opportunistic man, as has happened here sometimes, may want to approach this fragility with less than half-truths. He only needs gaps to put some right words and call you to talk. That outstretched hand or that friendly ear may hide another and perhaps a worse enemy. Because the first fall hurts. Now imagine being knocked down again by the one who just helped you get up. Poets are unfinished beings on certain occasions. They lead themselves to live stories out of pure illusion that the stories they write are already real, from other lives, in fact. And these "Farewell Poets", for those who have references to the fable of Venice, must know that they are only on the lookout, girl, for the content that your own poems contain. They already know a lot about your lives through each line you wrote, each exposed fracture and each stab in the back that you received. You've already received it, they study your likes and dislikes, then it becomes easy to enter when your heart stops bleeding, they soothe the wound so they can enter your lives and have what they want for a night, a week and even a month, then comes the goodbye, you won't even realize that it was just part of another trap by a "Poet of Goodbye", if you're going to choose someone to talk to or vent to, let it be me, or maybe I'm one of them, you see how difficult it is to know about people with just a few conversations, stay alert, wounded girl, or you could be the next victim of a goodbye.

“Venice — that was fun,” Chalamet says, though “fame,” to people of his generation, is a dirty word, and Chalamet clearly wants to be seen as a regular guy (for instance, he continued to ride the subway in New York after “Call Me by Your Name” premiered). “I enjoy those moments,” he says, “and have a lot of gratitude for them. And I definitely never want to be expectant about it.” Abruptly switching subjects, he adds, “And, I must say, I get very excited about the lens we made this movie through — that there’s a fable and a metaphor at the heart of it, not some massive corporate interest.”
An arty New York City kid at heart, Chalamet chooses his own looks, including the black leather Celine jacket he wears at our photo shoot. As for his thoughts on cinema, he has a soft spot for indie films. “Those are the kind of projects that I grew up loving,” he says. “Even just on the music side, those are the kind of artists that inspire me — not because there’s a beat per minute that places well in the Top 40, but because they’re just putting their artistic ethos on something.”
Although there have been starts and stops with “Going Electric” since it was first announced two years ago, Chalamet confirms that he’s still attached. “I haven’t stopped preparing, which has been one of the greatest gifts for me,” he says. “It’s been a wonderful experience getting to dive into that world, whether we get to make it or not. But without giving anything away — because I don’t want to beat anyone to the punch, and obviously things have to come together officially — the winds that are blowing are blowing in a very positive direction.”

Title: The Seven Lamps of Architecture Writer: Quilling (@Quillingwords) Artist: @the-cloudy-dreamer Rating: Explicit Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Word Count: 29,640 Pairing/main characters: Dream of the Endless | Morpheus/Hob Gadling Up to 10 Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence; Magical Realism; Gothic Atmosphere; The Dreaming is both a setting and basically its own character here; Literary and artistic references and allusions; Meta on storytelling and narratives; Dream goes by all of his names here; POV Hob Gadling; In which he gets to peel back each of the layers like an onion (or a tulip bulb - this will make more sense later)
Summary:
Moonlight made pools of yellow on the marble. What was this place? And the man he caught a glimpse of, the first night this place opened up to him, from between the windows that could have been doors. That was his Stranger from the Tavern of the White Horse, almost a century ago, Hob was sure of it. Hob had come to suspect that on that otherwise ordinary summer evening, he had embraced immortality and perhaps, given up his soul with perfect happiness. What a fable that would be. -- November, 1475. Hob Gadling arrives in Venice, explores a mysterious world of cosmic grandeur, trades ink-stained love confessions with his stranger, and embraces the most important lesson of all: that life is a story all on its own, past and present and an ending that isn't really an ending at all

This game bundle has been carefully restored with upgraded graphics and many other enhancements by the skilled hands of developer Aspyr, who was responsible for bringing the classics to the Mac back in the day.
youtube
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered lets long-time fans and newcomers alike step into the boots of the iconic hero in her first three adventures like never before. Experience the classic action and innovative gameplay that helped pioneer 3D gaming, spawned a beloved franchise which has sold more than 95 million copies worldwide since its debut in 1996, and made Lara Croft one of the most recognizable video game characters in the world. From the treacherous tombs of Peru in the original Tomb Raider to the awe-inspiring sights of Venice in Tomb Raider II and the mystical realm of India in Tomb Raider III, players will embark on a nostalgic journey filled with breathtaking landscapes and ingenious puzzles. Dust off your gear, sharpen your wits and prepare to step into Lara Croft's adventurous shoes once again as we accompany Lara on her original globe-trotting expeditions.
🦖 Tomb Raider (1996)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the game that started it all, adventurer Lara Croft has been hired to recover the pieces of an ancient artefact known as the Scion. With her fearless acrobatic style, she runs, jumps, swims and climbs her way towards the truth of its origins and powers—leaving only a trail of empty tombs and gun cartridges in her wake.
Tumblr media
Tomb Raider comes complete with the "Unfinished Business" (1998) expansion, which adds four new bonus levels spread into two extra chapters:
In Shadow of the Cat, several months after the events of Tomb Raider, Lara returns to the city of Khamoon, where she must investigate a hidden temple dedicated to the feline goddess Bastet.
In Unfinished Business, directly after the ending of the original game, Lara discovers a ruined segment in Atlantis, allegedly containing an alien hatchery. She must destroy the remnants of the Atlantean race before they infest the world.
🐉 Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft (1997)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the sequel, Lara travels around the globe on a quest to retrieve the legendary Dagger of Xian, fabled to grant the powers of a fire-breathing dragon to its holder. During her journey, she finds she's not the only one in search of danger! Warrior Monks and crazed cult members plot against her as she travels from the canals of Venice, to the bottom of the sea, and even to the remote mountain peaks of Tibet.
Tumblr media
Tomb Raider II includes the "Golden Mask" (1999) expansion, which adds five new levels in a separate mini-adventure.
In Golden Mask, Lara explores an abandoned Soviet military base and mine shaft somewhere in Alaska and discovers a strange and hidden world within. Many surprises await as she uncovers its secrets.
In the bonus level Nightmare in Vegas, while on holiday, Lara is taken by surprise when the hotel she resides in is taken over by baddies. After receiving an ominous vision of her butler Winston, our heroine sets off to rescue him.
☄️ Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft (1998)
Tumblr media
In the third and last game of the original trilogy, Lara Croft follows the clues to a mystery that defies any earthly explanation as she tries to lay hands on four powerful artefacts fashioned from the heart of an ancient meteorite. From the jungles of India to the icy wastes of Antarctica, across the rooftops of London and into the depths of Nevada's mysterious Area 51, Lara is ready for anything that comes her way.
Tumblr media
Tomb Raider III includes "The Lost Artefact" (2000) expansion, which adds six new levels to explore.
In The Lost Artefact, after receiving a strange invitation to the Scottish Highlands, Lara now learns of the existence of a fifth artefact, the Hand of Rathmore. Lost for many years, this final piece will complete the set and unlock the secret of the ancient meteor's powers. A hazardous trail riddled with traps and enemies takes her from a Scottish castle's subterranean laboratory to the Parisian Catacombs.
As previously stated, in addition to a visual makeover, various enhancements were made to improve gameplay and performance. Along the three adventures, you'll be able to toggle between updated and original graphics and switch between modern and classic control schemes instantly. Hey everyone: here's your chance to take reactionary misogynist homophobe Bill Willingham's shitty, gross Fables and legally do whatever you want! He said you could! Normally I roll my eyes at 'everyone is trans' approach to fandom culture, but not with Fables. Every character is now explicitly trans at all times. Everyone is also getting five abortions each—every day! Bigby Wolf gets tied-up and has to watch Briar Rose and Rose Red kiss for hours before he gets eaten forever by... oh... let's say Prince Charming. Every character is now also explicitly Palestinian. 'Even Shylock the racist caricature from Merchant of Venice who is in Fables for real seriously, i am serious Fables has Shylock' I hear you cry. Yes. Yes, even Shylock. Instead of living in a big apartment complex, all the Fables now live in a kitschy Down with Cis bus that has the same interior dimensions of the Spice Girls bus. Every day Old King Cole in drag reads to Bigby's orphaned cubs. (Snow White's not dead she just ran off to find true love with someone who fucking values her as a person and not as a brood mare.) We need to formally publish this and send copies to Bill Willingham every day. Because, sure, fuck IP law and fuck DC, but fuck Bill Willingham in particular.

Another American filmmaker who stands a great chance at cracking this line-up is Brady Corbet. We’ll he was feted with his debut feature and returned as a jury person on the Lido, his third feature, The Brutalist would make for great comp choice. Shot last Spring in Hungary and featuring the likes of Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Alessandro Nivola, Jonathan Hyde, Isaach De Bankolé, Raffey Cassidy and good luck charm Stacy Martin, this chronicles three decades in the life of László Tóth (Brody), a Hungarian-born Jewish architect who survived the Holocaust. After the end of World War II, he emigrated to the United States with his wife, Erzsébet, to experience the “American dream”. László initially endures poverty and indignity, but he soon lands a contract with a mysterious and wealthy client Harrison Lee Van Buren that will change the course of his life. This was shot on film and sees Corbet re-team with Lol Crawley for a third time out….
---
Feted on the Lido and well up into Oscar season with Poor Things, Yorgos Lanthimos lite the Croisette on fire when he won the Un Certain Regard section with Dogtooth in 2009 and in his two time sin competition her won the Jury Prize for The Lobster (2015) and Best Screenplay for The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017). The Searchlight folks have dated Kind of Kindness for a June 21st release so it’s almost unfathomable that this won’t receive a prestigious showcase. Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable with segments following a man without choice who tries to take control of his life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing at sea has returned and seems to be a different person; and a woman who is determined to find a specific someone destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader. This stars muse Emma Stone along with Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, Hunter Schafer….
hmm i thought it’d go to Venice tbh. the Cannes lineup will be out next week so we’ll find out soon enough
