RoosterTeeth Panel
HERE IT IS!!! The panel I have been wanting all day. I swear all I ask is a date for RWBY vol 7 soundtrack, Kerry, please.
Fiona is a LEAD VA for Red vs Blue: Zero and Torrian is LEAD animator. They are gonna be great!!
Remember your roots: RvB is the OG RoosterTeeth show and this is season 18! Fiona is Agent One in RvB:Zero
There will action, classic comedy, and feel good nature of the previous seasons
This is Fiona’s first VA role and she is super excited for it. HYPE is the word for the season
In the timeline, the season will take place right after season 17 but with a different cast. The OG cast retires (please give me Sarge) and some of them may show up (Kerry: Palomo!)
Zero is not a reboot, this story is happening a galaxy away. The lore plays a part but these are just some new guys to follow. It can be a good entry point (Barb: it’s ground zero!)
the clip they show is AWESOME!!! the animation is already off the charts and “everything is different”
COMING THIS FALL!!!! More info leading up to the release though
Yssa is the main girl behind Recorded by Arizal (On my to watch list) and has already premiered on RT website
She is learning if she wants to do the thing she is applying for for the rest of her life. It is about growing up, being relatable, learning about new things.
It is Yssa’s first solo show and definitely feels the Imposter Syndrome. She was not expecting how much it would explode and all the cast shouts their support for her
The idea came from limitations. She had to think about how limited the world is and came up with the vlog setup. INspiration came from Jenna Marbles and the Lizzie Bennet diaries, and pretty much Youtube in general. “It’s a self insert, what up?”
The clip they showed is so relatable, and made Kerry go make sure his books were okay. MOOD
Guest F.J. DeSanto thought this was therapy (Kerry: it might turn into therapy) lol
He worked on Tranformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Siege and it is gonna be on Netflix in a few days
It will not be dark and depressive, and it is a good fit with RT
It fits into the main generation story line (~prequel to 80s series) but it is its own story.
There are so many characters in the franchise that he wishes he could work with but there are diverse characters that will be on the show
Miles Luna is in this?? Okay (he will be an autobot and another character)
The clip is Cliffjumper’s cameo and is only 20 seconds but definitely hypes it
He can’t share too much or else Hasbro will make him ‘disappear’
RWBY TIME BITCHES!!!!!
8 years of RWBY, Barb is now 30
THEY STARTED WRITING VOLUME 9!!! I’m deceased
Collab for new RWBY streetwear merch (Yssa: just in case you were a little gay. Kerry: The percentage is growing)
RTX was cancelled but coop comics will be putting stuff on in the fall
VOLUME 7 SOUNDTRACK NEXT WEEK!!!!!! (7/31)
I’m literally writing the rest of this from beyond the grave
there goes all my bday money...
RWBY is officially working with Good smile to make popup parade of RWBY preorders start 8/3
having more writers has helped get RWBY written so quickly. It has been tough to write from home but they are getting through it
Theme for volume 8: distrust (after 7 being trust? hot damn) especially with Yang and a few other characters
Can Blake purr? Kerry refused to answer. Barb said if she get excited... Bees???
Yang gets a bike again!!! Also Oscar will find them pretty quick in the season
ALL THE SONGS!!!! I am sooooo ready for Friday to get here. But all the buildup for volume 8 is great and I am so happy Oscar meets up with the gang fast. Let me live with all this beautiful info. Check out RoosterTeeth people!
