Really love the cooling effect of this eye stick , which helps with the puffiness under my eyes. Have been using it for a few weeks now and have seen a little difference in the dark circles under my eyes. My under eyes feel much firmer and hydrated. Love the packaging, really cute and handy just to throw in your bag. I use this one mostly during my morning skincare routine and throughout the day when I feel like my under-eyes need a pick me up.Would highly recommend it.

The Salem Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick ❄️

I bought this a week ago and have been using it all week, I applied it in the morning and before bed to replace my eye care cream.

The packaging is really cute and the stick it’s self looked like a really precious polar bear >u<

After opening it, I was disappointed about the amount of product, honestly $8.99 for such a little amount, but with these products you don’t really need so much, a little goes a long way.

The eye stick smells nice, a refreshing scent and when you apply it it does have a calm cooling effect, not as powerful as I anticipated (which is a good thing I thought I was going to feel my eyeballs freeze) it does go on a little sticky but dries up as the day goes on. I did tear up a bit twice in that week but, my eyes are sensitive so that is just me.

I didn’t really see much of a difference in my eyes before or after using the product but it was fun to use 💙 I didn’t not like how much product it had I was actually contemplating on returning it on just that, but it was cute.

- i know i say this on every post but im sorry if i repeat brand names or so because i know nothing about makeup ahh - this time round it’s with renjun yay - my angel - except that when he’s with chensung - but he’s still the sweetest boyfriend so - okay let’s start

Take 2 on the Cardassian cosplay and it went MUCH better! Thanks to all the helpful tips I received here on Take 1 and switching out a few products, I’m now much closer to what I was aiming for. I also put together the makeup and the wig, which I worked out earlier this week. 

A couple of “in process” photos to show the makeup: 

Putting in on: First I put on a base of light gray Snazaroo (putting it on correctly this time, whoohoo) and then after it dried, I painted on darker gray Mehron where the ridges would go. I also used dark eyeshadow powder in my eyes and on my cheeks, plus silver-gray eyestick on my lips. Once all that was dry, I used a gel eyeliner to draw on the details. 

That worked pretty well, though I probably needed to let the Mehron dry more. Finally I added a bit of blue powder to the forehead. The shoulder ridges are extremely rudimentary as I can’t do them myself really, but at DragonCon my friend Kristina will be there and will take care of it for me gladly. 

One question: Eyebrows. I didn’t really cover my eyebrows beyond slathering on the two gray makeup, because I know I don’t have the correct products.. and it doesn’t look that crazy with them there, does it? Last time, I took the Snazaroo and without adding water, used it like clay and sort of try to cover over the brows. But even when I did that several times, the eyebrows came through. Should I try doing something?

Some products and also me doing doodles on my hand:

Wig: Doing the wig was a snap, took no time at all now that I know how to clip it back. 

Next Time: I’m wearing a different dress (though this one isn’t bad) and the one thing I know for the time I do this for real is I’m wearing a plastic bag or something over it while I do the makeup because otherwise it’s going to get gray on it. The dress I want to wear is black. 

So yay think I’m set now!
