this past extra life day (11/2/24) I had the pleasure of being a part of an incredible fan tribute project in the style of The Discovery Channel boom de yada song to honor Harlan and Jo Guthrie ( @malevolentcast ) and the incredible community that they've built and that i get to be a part of!!

@redundare organized the project over a month in advance and we all worked so hard on this vid so Harlan could air it during his & Jo’s 24 hour extra life stream

we set out with the goals of:

Make Jo cry (SUCCESS)

Send a bunch of donations while the video was airing so we could push for a huge amount of donos and collectively bump up the total donations by several THOUSAND total dollars (SUCCESS)

Extra Life Challenge Donation Page Twitch Channel It's this time of the year!!! Charity Stream, here we go!! Only this one will be roughly 12h, instead of 24h. It begins tomorrow at noon, EST time. We'll be drawing on my Ipad, taking some breaks on Genshin Impact while the iPad pencil is charging and painting a gouache. And we'll be listening to some cozy Nintendo music. Hehehe. And Willow might make a few appearances (and bork). I have added a few incentives (2, 5, 10 and 20$) that allows you one ticket, to win a beautiful/gorgeous/amazing Zelda Planner, with its tote bag and pencil case. Whatever amount you select or any number of time you donate, it's only one ticket per donor! 100% of donations will go to my local Children's Hospital. Commission buyers also get a ticket :) Extra incentives might be added during the stream, depending on how fast I go through commissions and the gouache painting. I like to think that when the batfamily inevitably runs out of money and jobless Bruce, Tim, and Dick* find themselves in financial need, Steph reveals that she's made thousands of dollars taking odd jobs around Gotham City that we just never saw bc Steph hasn't been in a comic for months. Nobody checked in on her and while they weren't looking she made 6 grand babysitting and playing piano at a local theatre. Bruce has to grovel for enough money to buff out a scratch on the batmobile and Steph is revelling in it. This is the closest she's ever going to get to being a supervillain

EXTRA LIFE 2023

Hello all! I'm doing EXTRA LIFE again this year which means 24 hours of gaming! This is my seventh year playing games for charity and in that time we've raised over $30,000 for Children's Miracle Network of hospitals.

While it's normally done in November we've decided to move it up given some real life changes on the horizon!

THIS Friday night, starting at Midnight EST, we kick off 24 hours of gaming! My wife and I, as well as a myriad of friends, will be streaming a plethora of games all day Saturday September 23rd from 12am to 12am! Within that time, expect a bunch of games such as Starfield, Observation Duty, We Were Here, Whispers of the West and SO many more! We have raised over $15,000 since we started on this quest 7 years ago and so far we've raised just over half our goal of 4k for this year.

I don't have an official schedule this year other than our semi-annual 5v5 ARAM Heroes of the Storm shenanigans at Midnight central time. Here are some of the games we will for sure be playing: World of Warcraft (Retail - this includes Delves, Keys, and 20th anniversary randomness across a multitude of characters) Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred (starting the expansion for the first time) Final Fantasy 14 (Working on the Dawntrail MSQ) Heroes of the Storm (All Random All Middle crazy town) JackBox - I have just about all of them Here are games I might play: Baldur's Gate - I've only played the intro to this and didn't get very far past that Chillquarium - super passive game that is just kind of brain smoothing when I need some down time A little to the left - cozy game that can sometimes be challenging Little Kitty Big City - will probably do this with my daughter Here are games that have been recommended (which I haven't played or looked up on purpose, that I'll sprinkle in sporadically throughout the day) Chance of Sennaar The Witness Super Bunny Man Hand Simulator (recommended for late late night fun) Inside Firewatch Ape Out Keep talking and nobody explodes (probably also a late night option) --- others on this recommended list I have but haven't played --- Tiny Glade (I think I own this but have yet to play it) Elden Ring (I have this and tried it once and raged pretty early, but that was because I had a hard time doing a keyboard/mouse setup - may try with a controller - this is only if I feel super masochistic) Have a game to recommend? What does Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals do?

Every day, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals treat:

235 kids for diabetes

295 babies in neonatal intensive care units

2,128 kids for cancer

2,329 kids for surgeries

16,200 kids with trauma

Each year, 10 million kids enter member hospitals of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for care. The money raised goes directly to the hospital to:

Fund critical treatments and pediatric medical equipment

Make sure the hospitals can provide charitable care to those in need

Help cover specialized services not covered by insurance

hey yo I know I don't exactly post a lot

but I'm gonna be doing art stuff on a charity livestream tomorrow! It's a thing my office does and it goes for 24 hours starting at 8:30AM PST. (Links at the end.)

Donate as little little as $5 to get a custom themed little dragon guy, using one of the bases below! Higher tiers are available to make more specific decisions, all the way up to eschewing a base entirely and specifying all parts of the dragon!

I'll be drawing [live on stream] from 4-5PM PST and then again from 4:30-5:30AM PST! (I also have a gaming segment afterwards from 5:30 to 7 if you want to continue to hang out :) )

Extra Life Charity Stream!

Hey folks! I'm going to be taking part in the 2024 Extra Life charity event, where people stream for 25 hours (thanks daylight savings) to help raise money for children's hospitals. I won't be committing to the full event, but I will be streaming as much as I can.

Starting at 12:00 noon EST on November 2nd, I'll be streaming myself gaming and drawing on my Twitch channel. All donations made will go directly to children's hospitals in Ontario where I live.

As an incentive, anyone who makes a donation can get an art commission from me! Prices are slightly discounted from my usual rates, so this is a great time to jump in if you want a piece of custom art!

I made it! 25 hours of Dragon Age The Veilguard for Extra Life! I have never played the same game for the whole 25. I always start drifting and switch to something simpler, or have someone join me co-op so we play RE5, Neverwinter, Rockband, etc.

The whole thing (minus a couple hours after the game crashed and I didn't realize it quit streaming), is up on my YouTube. As of now we are at $488 raised to help kids at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Donations are still open for anyone who still wants to donate. We're only $112 away from my initial goal and second milestone giveaway!
