Ginny volunteers to participate in an experiment to help out her friend Luna with her research. In this experiment, they track the progress of a couple's affection and romantic feelings while simulating a real relationship. To ensure optimal results, they are trying to reach a large group of men to find the best compatible match with Ginny. Ron's friend, Harry, is asked to join. Ginny assured him he will likely not be the chosen one and to just fill in the survey.

If you sign up for this survey, you agree to take part in the experiment. This will somewhat simulate a real relationship, but you will receive your instructions on what to do from us. There will be regular checkups. There will be no sexual actions required or allowed. You will only need to participate if you are selected from the pool of survey participants. While the complete purpose of the experiment can not be shared as to not mess with the result, we will research the progress of a relationship and the increase of affection and attraction throughout the dating process.

I am rereading Experimentally in love and I have to know. Was this all just a scheme by Luna to set them up. No one else got a survey and Ron was in on it. #Ron and Luna are Hinny shippers

While I think you could definitely consider it a possibility in chapter 1, I think as you read on it would make less and less sense.

Not to mention Ron was not on board with this. Literally it says what it is on the box.

So NO it's not a scheme, it's a genuine experiment. And out of hundreds of men, Harry was her best match.

Because none of them cotton on that 'prim and proper Royal Knight' Link and 'I will defeat this Lynel with a stick, a pot lid and a bucket load of adrenaline' Wild Child Hero is the same man. Especially with how many masks he owned.

When they walk away and are out of sight and earshot Zelda just raises her eyebrow with a smile and he is like '...I can explain...it made sense at the time'
