Leaders: Are You Wearing the Emperor's New Clothes?
“The Emperor’s New Clothes” is a short story written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. It is about two weavers who promise an emperor a new suit of clothes that they say is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions, untrained, or incompetent. In reality, the tailors make no new clothes at all. Instead, they make everyone believe the clothes are invisible to them. When the…

my brain is fried i'm so overtired I've cried spontaneously at least once a day for the past three days will you please help a girl out with a soft cozy wholesome movie recc please and thank you
I’m so sorry my dear!! I dug to the depths of a bunch of old tag games and my film tag and this is what I came up with!
when I’m strung out I tend to gravitate to movies that will make me happy-cry so this list will at moments tend in that direction. I tried to sort by what was available to stream now, and the sub-lists are in no particular order
if you have amazon prime (the basic package):
Penelope (2006). highly recommend, a funny little modern fairy tale about a lonely young girl searching for a way to break her curse. this one heals something in my heart
Stardust. also highly recommend! a chaotic fairy tale about true love and what a person would do for it.
Street Gang. the Sesame Street documentary. sometimes people are good and they’re trying to make the world a better place and they’re doing it with their friends.
How To Train Your Dragon. it’s a perfectly executed film and the score and animation is gorgeous. (also available on netflix)
if you have netflix:
Feel the Beat. a dance flick about a seemingly cold-hearted ambitious young woman becoming a dance teacher in her hometown
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. so so so rewatchable.
She’s the Man. the funniest movie on this list and possibly of all time. I have never shown this movie to a person who didn’t end up loving it. it’s Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at boarding school as a soccer movie
if you have tubi?? you might not need a membership I don’t know how tubi works??
The Music Man. some of the best costumes and choreography my favorite age of movie musicals had to offer. a con man comes to a small Iowa town and starts to want to believe in the beautiful lie he’s selling.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. this movie was written by Roald Dahl and it is buck wild. widowed inventor and his two children buy a broken down racing car and?? hijinks and musical numbers ensue
if you have disney plus:
Princess Diaries (1&2). we know them, we love them.
Sky High. if you haven’t seen this, I highly recommend it because it is silly fun but it understands the genre it’s playing with.
Newsies (1992). scrappy newsboys form a union, sing songs, punch each other, ???, profit
Holes. the single best adapted book to film ever? the cast commentary is also hilarious
Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella (1997). absolutely delightful. Whitney Houston as the godmother! Jason Alexander as the butler! Brandy as Cinderella! Bernadette Peters as the stepmother!
if you feel up for a trip to the library, things to look for:
The Hundred Foot Journey. I only saw this one once but it’s about a family who opens up an Indian restaurant across from a Michelin-starred French restaurant and it’s gorgeous
A League of Their Own (1992). sisters! best friends! married women and their disreputable drunk coach friends!
The Secret Garden (1993). highly recommend! this one fixes me down to my bones.
This Beautiful Fantastic. also highly recommend! a woman who’s afraid of the world falls in love with it.
Secondhand Lions. also highly recommend!! a boy gets dropped off with his great-uncles for the summer, hears possibly made-up stories of their wild and adventurous youth
August Rush. a young musical prodigy searches for his parents.
Sense and Sensibility (1995). if you need Austen energy, this is the one.
Cinderella (2015). this movie is so gentle and so lovely.
Little Women (1994). life is gonna be hard and sad but it’s gonna be beautiful and the love will endure!!!
I hope this helps and I hope you feel better! ❤️❤️
#I didn’t put Far From the Madding Crowd on here because it gets a little fraught in the middle there#but the ending is so so so comforting to me#I didn’t put love and monsters or speed on here because they are full of love BUT they are stressful#more so than the stuff here#asks

I don’t think Ime will be able to keep it in his pants. I guarantee you he has learnt his lesson and won’t be fucking any high ranking executives wives but he will run through the rest of the women regardless. Men like him never change. Ever ! Even with the level of consequences he faced. I think Houston as an org will do a great job of covering and protecting him if he doesn’t cross those lines. They protected so many of James hardens indiscretions, they will do the same for Ime especially since he is the the best coaching fit for that team
lmfao ime is so unserious

Third Annual Coach Knapp Campaign Returns With Joint Stair Climb Prior To Thursday Night Football
The Coach Knapp Memorial Fund, named in honor of veteran NFL assistant coach Greg Knapp, dedicated to educating drivers on the dangers of distracted driving, reduce the number of distracted driving related deaths, and promote distracted driving awareness reform, will have its busiest weekend of the year to date this week, as three NFL teams and a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) will take to the stairs.
Thursday night at MetLife Stadium, the New York Jets and Houston Texans will combine efforts for this season's first join stair climb, taking place at approximately 5:30 PM. Then on Sunday prior to their game at Nissan Stadium against the New England Patriots, the Tennessee Titans will join this year's participants. The week will end on Monday, with the Boston College Eagles running the steps of Alumni Stadium in Newton, Mass. as part of their return to play week when the face another Knapp Stair Climb participant, Syracuse University.
Nearly half of the NFL and over a dozen NCAA teams are participating in this fall's "Coach Knapp Stair Climb," the largest number in the brief three-year history of the event.
In honor of Coach Knapp, NFL coaches, players, executives and alumni will participate in raising funds and awareness at each NFL stadium prior to team warmups. Teams confirmed to participate in the stair climb include: Packers, Colts, Titans, Rams, Jets, Browns, Texans, 49ers, Commanders, Falcons. Participating NCAA teams include: Boston College, Oregon State University, Georgia State University, University of Oregon, University of Houston, Syracuse University, Sacramento State, Boston College, Butler University, East Carolina University, Ripon College, Rice University, and the University of Utah.
Over 500 coaches, players and staff will be participating in various forms on game days, easily eclipsing the goal of 20+ participating teams.
The fund, which has raised over $250,000 to date already, was created by Greg's wife, Charlotte, and close friend and agent, Jeff Sperbeck, to honor the legacy of Greg Knapp who tragically passed away in July 2021 after being hit by a distracted driver while he was bicycling. Coach Knapp was known for climbing the stadium stairs before every single NFL game he coached over his 25 season career. All will be tagged #knappstairclimb on social platforms.
At the time of his passing, Knapp was recently named Passing Game Coordinator of the New York Jets under head coach Robert Saleh, after serving as an assistant coach for over a quarter of a century.

Adelaide 36ers condemn online racial abuse of NBA recruit Montrezl Harrell
Former NBA star Montrezl Harrell, who now plays basketball for the Adelaide 36ers, has been racially abused online. The Adelaide 36ers basketball team has condemned the racist comments, which happened after Thursday night’s 10-point win over South East Melbourne Phoenix. In a statement posted to Instagram, the 36ers said racist comments were directed at one of their players on social media after the game. “In moments like this, the 36ers and the NBL stand together to educate people about the harmful impacts of racism and online abuse,” the statement read. Harrell shared the racial slurs, which were from an anonymous account, to his social media. The slurs also included references to his death. The club called out the incident 16 hours after Harrell’s post. The 36ers said the incident had been reported to the Basketball Australia integrity unit. A club spokesperson did not believe the incident had been referred to South Australian Police. Harrell was an NBA Sixth Man of the Year. (Supplied: ESPN) Harrell had a strong match against the Phoenix, scoring 14 points. A spokesperson for the Phoenix said “while it appears to not be a Phoenix member, we want to make it clear we do not condone this”. Basketball Australia has been contacted for comment. Harrell brought in as a replacement The 36ers announced Harrell would be joining them last month to replace injured player Jarell Martin. At the time, 36ers head coach Mike Wells said Harrell would “bring energy at both ends of the floor” while “adding toughness”. “Montrezl will bring that professionalism with a lot of years in the NBA and his competitiveness is great and he will bring that to the organisation,” Wells said. Harrell has played more than 500 games in the NBA for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers. Wells also has extensive NBA experience, coaching several team in the US since 1995. Head coach sacked The racial incident comes at a tense time for the 36ers after the sacking of head coach Scott Ninnis in August, just six months after he was appointed to the role. After being contacted about the racial incident, the club released a separate statement regarding Ninnis. Former head coach Scott Ninnis was dismissed a quarter of the way through his contract. (ABC News: Dean Faulkner) It said the club had met with Ninnis last week to discuss matters relating to his departure. “Both parties are pleased to announce that all issues have now been resolved and Ninnis is supportive of the club moving forward,” the statement read. Grant Kelley, Adelaide 36ers executive chairman, said it was important for both parties to move forward and look towards the future. “Scott is a club legend and we are glad to have his support,” he said. “As a club, we have a full focus on what is ahead for us and are excited for the NBL25 season.” The club statement said Ninnis said he was “thankful to put the past behind him” and was looking forward to supporting the club. “I am happy that we have been able to sort things out,” Ninnis said. “I wish Grant and the club all the best for the season ahead and I’m looking forward to attending games this season.” Scott Ninnis was replaced by Mike Wells, who was originally appointed as an assistant coach earlier this year. Love to run
It appears we have a talented, young, competent back-up quarterback. That’s great news.
It’s possible that an even bigger development came from the surprising two-game win streak. Coach Matt La Fleur can call, and his offensive line and running backs can execute an effective, smash mouth running game.
Shanahan tree
When La Fleur came to Green Bay one of his calling cards was a Shanahan style, run focused offense. When that didn’t mix well with his star QB, he improvised. It’s quite possible that many of the running game elements shown against Indy and Tennessee are a sneak peek at the upper ceiling potential of his offense.
Assuming Jordan Love is back in the lineup Sunday, I don’t expect La Fleur to call for 53 runs as he did versus the Colts. But even if you take out the Malik Willis scrambles against Tennessee the Packers running game was hitting for a healthy 4-yards per carry. If they can run like that against Minnesota, how good can the play-action game be for Love?
SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA – JANUARY 20: Jordan Love #10 of the Green Bay Packers looks to pass during the first half against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Playoffs at Levi’s Stadium on January 20, 2024 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images)
Vikes look real
The Vikings are one of the surprises of the league thus far. Aaron Jones has made an impact. Sam Darnold has been more than good enough at QB. The defense has convincingly shut down the reigning NFC champions and 2024 darlings, the Houston Texans.
Jordan Love playing with a real run game threat is hard to stop. But, Love didn’t look sharp against Philly, and he’s now sat for 2+ weeks. Certainly the Packers best chance is with Love, and it appears he’ll play.
Coaching clinic
Kevin O’Connell and Matt La Fleur are, arguably, doing the most impressive coaching jobs three weeks into the young season. Sunday at Lambeau promises to be a great game.

Derrick Deshaun Watson (September 14, 1995) is a football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. He played college football at Clemson, where he led the team to a national championship in 2016. He was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.
He was born in Gainesville, Georgia to Deann Watson and Don Richardson. He attended Gainesville High School, Gainesville head coach Bruce Miller had planned to start a rising junior at quarterback to execute his spread offense, but he won the starting spot, becoming Miller’s first-ever freshman starting quarterback.
He set numerous state records, including those for total yards (17,134), total touchdowns (218), career passing yards (13,077), and career passing touchdowns (155). He rushed for 4,057 yards and 63 touchdowns. He excelled in his junior year, winning a state championship and earning accolades such as Junior All-American, 2014 Player to Watch, and 2014 Top 100 Recruit. During his sophomore and senior years, he led Gainesville to the state semifinals.
He received offers from numerous colleges before committing to Clemson University. He was ranked as the top quarterback recruit for the 2014 class by ESPN 300.
He guided the Texans to consecutive division titles in 2018 and 2019 and led the league in passing yards in 2020. He received Pro Bowl honors in each of his three seasons as Houston’s primary starter. He has the highest career completion percentage of all time and is second in all-time career passer rating.
Disagreements with the Texans’ front office and multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits kept him out for the entire 2021 season and led to a trade to the Cleveland Browns. In March 2022, he signed a five-year contract worth $230 million, one of the most expensive contracts in NFL history.
He is a Christian and converted to the Southern Baptist Convention after coming to Houston. When he was 11, Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn donated a home to his family. He donated his first NFL game check to three cafeteria employees affected by Hurricane Harvey who work at the Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

From Super Bowl Champion To Horseman : The Steve ‘ Mongo ’ McMichael Story
Hello Everyone! If you know me and have followed me for a while on here or on any social media platforms, I’m a football fan. This article is going to be a special one. This is the story of Football Star turned Wrestler , Steve ‘ Mongo ’ McMichael.
Stephen Douglas ‘ Steve ’ Michael was born on October 17, 1957 in Houston , Texas. His parents divorced when he was a year old and his mother married an oil executive named EV McMichael. Steve would take his stepfather’s last name. McMichael is the middle sibling of his family with an older brother and two younger sisters. As a Senior at Freer High School in Freer , Texas, McMichael was involved in multiple sports. He was on the football team, golf team , tennis team , basketball team , baseball team, and ran track . Thus, McMichael originally wanted to play baseball , with his position being a catcher. With a batting average of .450 , the Cincinnati Reds and St.Louis Cardinals were hoping to draft him to their team. He was offered 75 football scholarships from different colleges due to his work on the Freer football team. However, he chose to play as a Defensive Tackle for the Texas Longhorns.
McMichael was a Texas Longhorn from 1976 to 1979. During his Freshman season , the death of his stepfather affected his time on the field. He went to be chosen as an All American and the Defensive MVP for the 1979 Hula Bowl in his Senior season. McMichael was also the back up place kicker during the 1977 season. He was also chosen to be the Southwest Conference Choice in 1978-79, and the Longhorns’ team MVP in 1979. Nevertheless, he would declare himself for the 1980 NFL Draft. He was drafted by the New England Patriots as the 73rd Pick in Round 3 of the draft. He was cut from the team before a second season with them.
McMichael was picked up by the Chicago Bears as a free agent signing in 1981. Coach Neill Armstrong made him a starting Defensive Tackle after an injury took out Alan Page. In 1985 , McMichael would help lead the Bears to a Super Bowl victory alongside Walter Payton and Ron Rivera ( former coach of the Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders ) . He was selected to the NFC Pro Bowl team in 1986 and 1987. He joined the Green Bay Packers in 1994 before retiring the same year. In 1985 , he would meet Pageant Queen, Debra Marshall and they would soon marry. He would also earn his nicknames , ‘ Mongo ’ , ‘ Ming The Merciless/Ming ’.
In 1995, Mongo would make an appearance at WrestleMania 11. He would be ringside in support of Lawrence Taylor as he was in a match against Bam Bam Bigelow. He was selected alongside other players to make sure that Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Corporation would not interfere in the match in order to help Bigelow win. He would be invited to Monday Night RAW for the March 20 episode to give commentary. He would also be involved in a brawl with Kama Mustafa ( Papa Shango/Kama/The Godfather ) . Nevertheless, he would be signed to World Championship Wrestling the same year.
Mongo would make his WCW debut as a Babyface Color Commentator on the premiere episode of Monday Nitro on September 4, 1995. He would be on the Commentary team alongside Lead Broadcaster , Executive Producer, and Senior Vice President of WCW, Eric Bischoff, and Heel Commentator, Bobby ‘ The Brain ’ Heenan. Fans would watch McMichael and Heenan constantly argue as Mongo cheered for the Babyface wrestlers and Heenan would cheer for the Heel wrestlers. He would also bring his dog , Pepe, to the shows. In 1996, he would begin a storyline with Ric Flair and the Four Horseman. It started when Flair was flirting with Debra, McMichael’s wife , who would be at ringside. He soon would challenge Flair and his tag team partner , Arn Anderson , to a match at The Great American Bash. Mongo’s tag team partner was fellow NFL alum, Kevin Greene.
During their match , Debra and Kevin Greene’s wife would be chased to the locker room by Miss Elizabeth and Woman ( Nancy Benoit ) , who were the valets/managers for Flair and Anderson. Debra would soon return to the ring alongside Woman and Elizabeth. She would have a briefcase full of money and a 4 Horsemen shirt for her husband . Mongo would take the briefcase and turn Heel on Greene by hitting him with it. He went on to have storylines with the Dungeon of Doom and Jeff Jarrett. The feud with Jarrett would be over the love of Debra. This would lead to a match at Superbrawl 7. During the match , Debra would help Jarrett get the win over her husband and Jarrett would be a Horseman. Jarrett would soon be put out of the 4 Horseman in 1997, with Debra following him. During his time in WCW , he would win the United States Championship. His final appearance on would be on the February 8 , 1999 episode of Monday Nitro. He would divorce Debra in 1998. Mongo would make his return to the Squared Circle in TNA as a guest referee for a Monster’s Ball match at Bound For Glory. He would retire from wrestling in 2008.
Mongo would go on to marry Misty Davenport in 2001 and become a father to daughter , Macy , in 2008. He would be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2010. He would also make a return to football as a coach for the Chicago Slaughter , an Indoor Football League team , from 2007 to 2013 , when the program was shut down. In 2021, McMichael would announce that he was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. In 2024, he would be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame .
My Final Thoughts:
I wanted to do this article to highlight Mongo McMichael’s careers as a football star and a wrestler. While I was doing my research for this article , I gained more respect for him. He had two storied careers . I kept fighting for him to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame along with other fans and it happened. I wanted to say congratulations Mongo ! This is well deserved!
Love You All,
- Kay

Quarterbacks for NFL's Final TNF Game of 2023: Jets' Trevor Siemian vs. Browns' Joe Flacco
The Jets and Browns meet tonight in Cleveland with vastly different reasons for wanting to beat each other into primetime submission. And the fourth different starting quarterback for both teams will have a lot to say about which team comes away victorious.
For the Jets, the playoffs are a dream for next year, but they want to build on home wins over Houston and Washington, toward a potential 8-9 record to take with them into the offseason. And the well-traveled Trevor Siemian, who piloted the 30-point offense that led by a lot early and by just enough late to defeat the Commanders, will make his second start for Zach Wilson, still in the NFL's concussion protocol.
Cleveland's QB is well known not just to the Jets, their coaches and fans but around the NFL. Joe Flacco was signed to the Browns' practice squad in November, became their fourth starter earlier this month, and has posted 300-yard passing games in his last three games, all wins as the denizens of the Dawg Pound have risen to 10-5 and can officially end the suspense and clinch an AFC playoff berth with a win tonight.
But Flacco and the Brownies will have to do it without their top WR, Amari Cooper, who was on the injury report all week with a heel injury and has been deactivated for the game.
It was 15 months ago that Flacco was the Jets backup and occasional starter. His only win for the Green & White from 2020-22 came in this same stadium that sits almost on the shores of Lake Erie. He guided the Jets from 30-17 down to the 31-30 comeback win, all in the final 1:22, with touchdown passes to Corey Davis and then-rookie Garrett Wilson, sandwiched around Braden Mann's perfectly executed onsides kick recovered by Justin Hardee.
Wilson continues to make much noise as the Jets' WR-1. He's already notched 80 catches for the second straight season and needs just 42 more yards — all tonight would be fine for starters — to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the second straight season. He is joined in explosive playmaking on the offense by RB Breece Hall, who amassed 95 rushing yards, 96 receiving yards on 12 catches, two rushing TDs and 11 first downs in helping the Jets conquer the Commanders.

I Pray to JOBU!
In the heartbreak BILLS' tale, where victories slip away like sand, lost in the situation, a fateful choice, in the shadows, another soul-crushing loss.
At this point we need the old gods to return to Earth and SAVE the Buffalo Bills. We need the greatest sports God to grace us, oh, alas Babylon, alas Babylon, yee, oh... The Buffalo Bills need JOBU… I pray to JOBU… I give him Chicken Wings, Pizza Logs, Blue Cheese, Beef on Weck, Crown, Molson, Labattts.
He will come… He will come… (insert Major League JOBU theme music)
The Situational Curse Continues…
Situational Football…
We fail at it ALL of the time now. Not some of the time or once every few years.
NO… Every time… We Fail Miserably At It…
It is something we have not been able to shake, going as far back as the Houston Wild Card Loss. That was the 2019 season. You can make all sorts of excuses for this loss at the Eagles: The Refs, Bad Luck, Beat-up on Defense, Shaky Special Teams. Coach is right, it isn’t just one person, one play or one call or non-call. It is the 2021 season all over again, but with the 2022 woes. In the situation we don't know what to do and how to execute it. Ok, maybe we do know “what to do,” but the execution of it is still a major problem.
You can see it on Hyde’s face after the touchdown on 3rd and forever.
“Oh, no… Not again…” Yes… Again…
But What Is Our Resolve? We Have Yet To Actually Figure This Out.
Lately, the last few games or even two seasons, these 4th quarter meltdowns are happening ALL of the time now... Till we rise above these situations we won't get to the next level and now the playoffs are doubtful but... NEVER SAY NEVER... This is exactly how the 2021 season was. We lost a heartbreaker to the Bucs in OT, then went on our bye-week and ripped off 7-straight wins to steal the division title and lose that crazy game to Kansas City. I still BILLieve in this team and I will say if we do make the playoffs every team in the AFC and the NFC is gonna pay attention. We are not gonna be a team one wants to play in the playoffs, if we do get in. We are two games back if you count our last game at Miami as a win. That means we need to win out and Miami has to lose two other games during their schedule, besides to us, for us to tie and we win the AFC East by tie-breaker. Should be noted that Miami has 9-wins, all against teams under .500. History says, Miami will crumble just like history says that the Bills were gonna blow that game at the Eagles. I do not always trust history in sports, but more times than not, it is the correct assumption.
That Is Why It’s A “Historic Moment.”
With some other potential Wild Card teams faltering that could also be a path to the playoffs. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Houston, Miami are all suspect. They have to keep their peddle down too. If we limp in it doesn’t matter. We’re in… If we make the playoffs in 2023 it’s gonna be a “historic moment.” Josh Allen is playing at a high level. The offense is finding itself again and outside of Kansas City and Dallas the defenses we will be facing are suspect. I also feel we match up well against Kansas City and Dallas. If the Offensive line can continue to protect Allen we got a shot at those games. If we beat Kansas City after the bye, we are where we thought we’d be with splitting these two games. That was the goal, split them and try and smash Dallas at home. It is still there. We still have some control here, but we gotta win these games and not leave them on the field. However, when one is cursed it is extremely hard to get said curse lifted…
Grace Us, Oh, Alas Babylon, Alas Babylon, Yee, Oh… I Pray Thee JOBU… He Will Come… GO BILLS…
I began noticing the "Situational Curse" since the Houston Wild Card loss and even in games that season. That was the 2019-2020 season. It is now the 2023-2024 season. This issue is still an issue and now it is costing us multiple games over it being one a year every year.
It Is Happening More...
I Think Putting This All On Mcdermott Is The Wrong Take.
I am seeing a lot of uninformed fans, calling themselves BillsMafia, that seem like they literally have not been watching the games or watching the games through the lens of highlights/RedZone Channel, which does not give the FULL CONTEXT of what is on the field, in the game. It is cliff-notes logic at best. So it is complicated for me to accept those opinions of the team as real opinions, when the context is all over the place. I get it -it is on McDermott, but him and Bean should hire someone that emphasizes these points, in-game, up in the booth. We do not need an analytics guy. We’re a team that doesn’t require analytics when stuff like this keeps happening, in-game. Repurpose that position with someone who points out. "No matter what, watch for this, watch for that. Do not forget your assignments. Do not forget the Universe is against this team. Do not assume. Plan for the worst possible situation happening on this play. Think about it more, deeply… What is likely to happen if I do or do not do this or that on this play?"
I Feel Like We Miss This Point. Over and Over…
We missed it in 2019. We missed it in 2021. 2022 and now in 2023. You can even throw 2020 in there as well.
Every year since 2019 this aspect of the game has gone against us. We need to be more assertive here with this issue and not just talk about what we need to do to improve the team and/or play the uninformed blame game on whose fault this is. If we do nothing, then nothing will change. If we keep ignoring it. It will keep rearing its ugly head, which is exactly what is happening. Why is it that no one else seems to be bringing this up? We are down to fumes on defense, but still keeping us in games. What I do not understand is why would you put that defense on the field and expect them to go win the game? They are beat up... We do not match up well, at all, in a situation where we have to go out and hold anyone to 4-and-out to win. How many more examples do we need on tape to show this? Sure, for most of a game the BILLS will play great defense. However, when the game is on the line, we simply cannot be expected to go out and win that game, with this defense, with these injuries. We are a bend but do not break defense till it is the last drive and the other team knows they can methodically move the ball down the field against us. We do this, quite often the last two seasons, three would not be wrong either. Still, Coach will send them out there expecting them to triumph.
In that respect it is more on McDermott.
I am not saying the Fat Lady is singing, but there is a line of thicc girls starting to line up for tryouts. We are in a better position with the bye-week Sunday games played by the other teams. Kansas City lost and we are prepping for them. It is still right there. I am going to say the same thing I did in the 2021 Divisional game. "It is right there... All the BILLS gotta do is go out there and TAKE IT..." Take it, instead of trying to win the game. Go out there and take it from them. Go take it from EVERYONE... The Universe is against this team. Be that asshole who does things in spite of that. That just because the Universe says "not so fast..." You kick that M'F'K'er in the gut and give them a Stone-Cold Stunner... Cue Music and tossing victory Beers...

NFL, College Teams Continue to Expand The Lineup For Third Annual Coach Knapp Stair Climb Campaign
The Coach Knapp Memorial Fund, named in honor of veteran NFL assistant coach Greg Knapp, dedicated to educating drivers on the dangers of distracted driving, reduce the number of distracted driving related deaths, and promote distracted driving awareness reform, today announced its expanded lineup of nearly half of the NFL and over a dozen NCAA teams participating in this fall’s “Coach Knapp Stair Climb.” This coming weekend, two new Universities, The University of Houston (October 12) and Syracuse University (October 14) will be the latest additions to the roster. The next NFL team to take to the stairs will be the L.A. Rams on October 20, prior to their game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
In honor of Coach Knapp, NFL coaches, players, executives and alumni will participate in raising funds and awareness at each NFL stadium prior to team warm ups. Teams confirmed to participate in the stair climb include: Packers, Colts, Titans, Rams, Jets, Browns, Texans, 49ers, Commanders, Falcons. Participating NCAA teams include: Oregon State University, Georgia State University, University of Oregon, University of Houston, Syracuse University, Sacramento State, Boston College, Butler University, East Carolina University, Ripon College, Rice University, University of Utah.
This fall marks the third annual Coach Knapp Stair Climb, with this year’s initiative starting even earlier with participation kicking off with Georgia State University and Oregon State University participating in the preseason this past August. Over 500 coaches, players and staff will be participating in various forms on game days, easily eclipsing the goal of 20+ participating teams.
The fund, which has raised over $250,000 to date already, was created by Greg’s wife, Charlotte, and close friend and agent, Jeff Sperbeck, to honor the legacy of Greg Knapp who tragically passed away in July 2021 after being hit by a distracted driver while he was bicycling. Coach Knapp was known for climbing the stadium stairs before every single NFL game he coached over his 25 season career. All will be tagged #knappstairclimb on social platforms.
“I was with Coach Knapp in Denver in 2013, and he was somebody that was really influential for me as a young coach,” said Colts Offensive Coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, who participated in the Knapp Stair Climb last month alongside the coaching staff of the Green Bay Packers. “He actually got me started running the stadium stairs before games, which is a habit that I have held onto. Coach Knapp was such a beloved figure in the coaching community, and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to help honor his legacy.”
At the time of his passing, Knapp was recently named Passing Game Coordinator of the New York Jets under head coach Robert Saleh, after serving as an assistant coach for over a quarter of a century with the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders, Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. Known as a “quarterback whisperer,” Greg coached some of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history helping chart the careers of many young athletes with kindness, humor and trust.
Additional participants will be announced in the coming weeks.
Fans, athletes, and coaches at any level can also participate wherever is most convenient to them across the country, such as apartment building stairs or a high school sports stadium. Images will be shared on various social channels.
