Why?
Why are the Executive Education Institute’s executive courses highly rated?
Answer: Top Ten Reasons Why Executive Clients Choose the Institute
1. Global Networking and Development
Successful organizations and professionals distinguish themselves by investing in their intellectual capital and network relationships. They associate with and learn from other experts in their fields. Our clients receive a free membership to the global CEO Club or the Executive Society. The membership offers access to a global forum for professional networking and business development with over 10,000 senior executives and managers from the global Fortune 500 and other reputable companies.
2. Lessons from Leaders
The Institute's researchers have reviewed thousands of practical ideas from the world's best management minds. Our management education content is success-oriented. The Institute researchers study the works of the most successful companies, managers and influential management thinkers to identify their best practices, critical success factors and learned lessons. Researched CEOs include names such as Steve Jobs, Jack Welch, Warren Buffet, and Bill Gates. The courses provide experiential analysis from leading companies such as AT&T, IBM, McDonald's, Microsoft, Sony, Exxon Mobil, Boeing, and Toyota. The researchers also conduct a critical analysis of the applications and limitations of popular management theories and practices, models and frameworks, including the works of leading management gurus, such as Adams, Drucker, Hamel, and Maslow. The researchers then incorporate findings into the executive education program to provide students with the latest and most advanced thinking and tools.
3. Experiential and Action-Learning Courses
Unlike academic programs that focus on management theory, our management training courses are designed for professionals with a focus on critical experiential insights and management best practices. The Institute management training is based on a unique experiential action-learning model that saves participants learning time, effort and costs. Participants can choose industry or company-specific projects, thereby bridging the knowledge-application gap. To learn more, please visit the Executive Education KASAC Model and executive action-learning (EAL) Model
4. Return on Investment (ROI)
The management training courses are designed to help managers innovate, solve complex problems and formulate new strategies. At the end of the course, managers can leverage course work in their business, with immediate ROI to their companies.
5. Expert Advisors
The Institute's advisors are seasoned management consultants who advise global Fortune 500 companies. Although we have PhDs on the advisory board, we place more weight on creative thinking and experiential analysis than academic titles. We don't hire academics with no real-world client problem-solving experience.
6.Less is More!
Managers do not like to waste time; they want quick and practical knowledge. The Institute's advisors are results-oriented. They understand key business drivers, operations and performance metrics better than most. The management training courses are designed using highly effective formats, including executive summaries, bullet points, frameworks, methodologies, checklists, tables and short case studies.
7. Accelerated Courses
Since the content of management training courses is highly focused and practical, what would normally take months of academic education, takes only days to learn via the accelerated management training model.
8. Customized, Modular and Flexible Delivery Options
Modular management training courses and flexible delivery options allow executives to choose the modules that are relevant to their current needs.
9. Latest Management Research
With the advent of globalization, rapid technological advances and a continually changing business environment, managers cannot depend on old textbooks and outdated business models. They must keep up with the latest knowledge for successful strategy formulation and decision making. The Institute's management training courses are updated annually and provide resources to identify and address current industry trends, challenges and opportunities.
10. Multinational Collective Intelligence
The institute’s research and education network consists of about 55 universities and organizations from 40 countries. We leverage this strong multinational network to provide the clients with a global perspective and leading advice.

My biggest joke as a creator based on queer shipping is that I don't belong to three of the biggest ships in queer fandom history 😩
#GW Misc#And I can't do the Youtuber thing where they make content for content's sake instead of being genuinely invested#which isn't necessarily a bad trait to have I just simply Cannot Do it#If I analyze something I have to like it#....probably to an insane degree if my enjoyment fuels me over the ADHD executive dysfunction#And no really if you made a top five these three are on it but nooooo

I think the reason why TFC is so "love it or hate it" right off the bat is that it takes its concept seriously and doesn't try to ease the audience into it, so if you aren't willing to suspend your disbelief and buy into that concept from page one, you're going to think it's incredibly stupid. It throws a lot of information at you immediately and expects you to suspend your disbelief and roll with it. Because above all else these books are entirely unapologetic about what they are, that's one of the series's greatest strengths, and throwing you into them like this weeds out people who probably wouldn't have a good time anyway.
#i firmly believe that whether or not something in fiction is seen as 'stupid' entirely depends on how the audience feels#something could be the coolest thing ever to someone who is invested and into it but extremely stupid to someone who isn't#there are no inherently stupid ideas it's all down to investment and execution#tfc is deeply interested in building your investment in the characters but expects you to immediately accept the world#aftg

Rhaenicent fics have been driving me insane these days. Reading of what they could have been, what they could have had.. damn the tragedy of it all makes me feel sick.
I wish that the writers take a happier route. Like, let Rhaenyra having an Elphaba ending. Faking her death and rejoining with Alicent in the end.
But eh, that’s wishful thinking
#i have gotten way too invested and obsessed lmao#i blame the wonderful fics on ao3#like there is so much love we will never have in the show because the writers are following the book#if they show Rhaenyra thinking about Alicent when she gets executed it’s gonna end me#rhaenicent#hotd

Lemme show u my struggle just to make this edit . Struggle which could have been avoided by simply... counting.
One day, thinking: Eiden something something sun of the clan solar system WHAT IF I PUT THE CLAN MEMBERS AS PLANETS IN THEIR SEQUENTIAL ORDER OMG WHAT IF QUINCY LINES UP TO BE JUPITER IT'LL BE PERFECT LET'S DO THIS
So i got to this point and
WAIT quincy doesnt line up with jupiter that's not right. Ok. What if i count aster and morvay
ooo venus morv aha FRICK !!!QUINCY STILL DOESNT LINE UP WITH JUPITER BUt. No. This can work. Let's see where this goes
Ah. My vision is complete .
#sorry. kuya lining up with uranus was too good to pass up#i had to find an old pic that included Pluto bc i need all the planets i can get#not enough planets for everybody! this solar system is inferior!!#rei and dante are now satellites. or asteroids. idk boys yall sort it out#i could have realised that quincy wouldn't line up with the biggest planet and stopped there#but i had the idea floating in my head for a While before actually trying to execute it#so by the time i started editing i was too invested. i don't care if the sequence doesn't work.#if the idea doesn't make sense#i will hammer the piece into the puzzle until it does#if it turns out that i didnt get their introduction sequence correct i might just perish on the spot#the clan's all here!

here's a hot take for today
the narrative function of sex is the same as the narrative function of fight scenes is the same as the narrative function of songs in a musical
no i will not explain
#taz talks#writing#actually i WILL explain but i'll do it in the tags#these each serve the same function within their respective appropriate genres#each one is a kind of revelation#they heighten the connection between 2+ characters and highlight relationships and feelings and needs#they are out of place in genres where they do not belong and/or as curveballs when the narrative did not provoke them from the start#but they have the same sort of emotional/dramatic build-up#talk -> sing -> dance (talk -> yell -> stab) ((talk -> flirt -> You Know))#and they are all expressions of intense physicality and intimacy through physical gesture and interaction#they are fundamentally empty and boring if there is not a deeper purpose or drive behind them#although they can still occasionally be entertaining on their own if your audience is specifically seeking that experience out#people who do not like them will be very unhappy to encounter one where it isn't supposed to be#it is very easy to ruin the mood with poor word choice#many people have an inherent sense for terrible ones but it's often difficult or complicated to explain precisely why a bad one fails#when executed properly they are a very raw and intimate expression of a character's most fundamental needs and desires#the fluff is stripped away and there is nothing left but a series of needs. conflicting or cooperating.#and even when you're lying during one it's still a form of truth#none of these things are remotely necessary to tell a powerful or compelling story but if you're going to use them you need to do it right#also all 3 of these things are difficult if not impossible to write if you are not both interested in them and personally invested#this post brought to you by me trying to write smut about my dnd characters and failing because i generally hate /reading/ smut#so i have none of the vocabulary or instinct for it that i do for. say. graphic violence (or lyrical poetry)

As a big sibling with a lil sib with epilepsy, when they read TBC they Honestly thought if they got struck with lightning reciting the lord's prayer they'd be cured like Shadowsight is from their epilepsy. I had a discussion with them on how that's not how it works, but ge was so upset they took it away from Shadowsight that he hasn't picked the books back up and has stated that 'he hopes Ashfur wins and starts a new religion.,'
I do not even know how to respond to this besides saying that your little sibling is 100% right to be pissed and I now also hope Ashfur wins and starts a new religion.
#Legit I did not know that Shadow's epilepsy being taken away was so deeply upsetting to SO MANY people#I put it back because putting it back was just the right thing to do (even asked the small following I had at the time what type to portray#(they picked the full tonic-clonics. I would have just done localized or absence if they'd asked me to)#And I did all that research for one single anon who asked for an epilepsy herb guide#So holy cow I didn't know that SO MANY people were snubbed and upset by canon's choice to do that. I'm so sorry#Your little sib isn't missing anything btw they do just go on to confirm that Shadow no longer has seizures.#In book 4 of TBC they say that it was all Ash all along and that's what they've stuck with into ASC#I'm sitting on an essay about... That plot thread. The Ashfur Grooming one#But it's in my drafts because I was a bit afraid of controversy#because i think it was written poorly. Even on top of Book 4's pivot to retcon away Shadow's seizures#I know a lot of people like and are invested in the grooming subplot of TBC. But. I think it was executed AWFULLY#and its really telling that THIS is the plot they tout as grooming *by name* in-canon.--#--and that Shadow has to 'pay' for what he 'did' in some way as if there was ever a choice in the books they wrote--#--But seemingly didn't even seem to clock that what was happening in Spotted's H was grooming until there was intense backlash#and a big part of my contention is the way that Book 4 suddenly tries to retcon that Shadow was groomed from the time he was a child#when it was actually part of book 1 that Shadow was able to personally tell the difference between a real vision and Ash's suggestions--#--BECAUSE he didn't have an accompanying seizure#So like... just know it's also NOT just 'you' if you connected to the character that was epileptic. It WAS there. It was a BIG part of him#Book 4 retconned it so that his epilepsy was part of a long scheme when before that point it was part of him#''ohh ur destiny is to see into the shadows'' BULL SHIT!!#bone babble

I think we all know who the 5th man should be
They have unfinished business
#this is a joke#rhea ripley#solo sikoa#the bloodline#we all know narratively Damien Preist should be in the conversation#him and jey are friends#jey has saved him several times#jey was invested in his face turn even though i have a lot of feelings about how bad thst face turn was executed#plus Damien has NO issue with the bloodline#hed be perfect and the fact he never came up in the conversation is weird#i know the actual 5th man is going to add some depth narratively#but Damien being taken out of the 5th man spot by Gunther or Ludvig could serve THAT story#like he could be asked and accept for half an episode#and then its back to the rush and true desperation

Why does trying to eat a variety of different foods that are healthy and involve plants on occasion feel so insurmountable?
My chicken has rotted in fridge where I was defrosting it before I got around to cooking with it because I got caught up with school for several days
my apples have gone mushy (like completely mushy, not a mushy spot but literally half the apple collapsed in on itself) before I ever got to eat even one
my onions came from the store rotten
all food feels scary and revolting and changes much too fast except my beloved and perpetually safe nature valley granola bars
but I can’t subsist off of nature valley granola bars alone because then I get floppy and lightheaded. I have tried in the past and it didn’t go well- they do not contain all the nutrients an adult human needs to function
I want to eat well! But I feel I am thwarted in this endeavour by the implacable forward march of entropy :(
#My beloved nature valley oats and honey granola bars have never failed me and never will. But I can’t rely on only them#I should take my friend’s advice and just invest in Soylent shakes to compensate for the nutritional deficit#because right now the combination of executive dysfunction and ARFID has me in a stranglehold#And I gotta do something because my ability to do work is taking a hit#food cw#spoiled food cw#vent#svet.txt

i think it’s interesting cuz i feel like sometimes you can tell if the person writing wanted to write a specific plot vs if they wanted to write a dynamic
both are valid but i’ve noticed selfshippers tend to be more invested in the dialogue and dynamic and general x reader writers tend to care more about the actual plot (obviously there’s overlap and an element of both in this)
#these approaches can both be executed beautifully#i have noticed however that when it falls short for x reader writers the characters tend to be one dimensional and you end up not caring#about either of them#and when it falls short for selfshippers it starts to look boring and hard to invest in#i think in many cases selfshippers can get even a stranger interested in their selfship#and x reader writers can make a stranger fall in love with a character and selfship with them#it’s very fascinating#ultimately everyone should do what feels best and most fun and fulfilling to them#mimi speaks
