Saw a post talking about this and didn't want to derail it, but like, honestly, at this point, I'm becoming less and less tolerant of people acting like straight/cis passing privilege is a real, very serious thing that needs to be taken into consideration every time someone speaks on queer issues bcs I swear to god the only time I ever see it actually brought up is when someone is trying to deny someone else a seat at the table. Like first it was used against bi+ people to explain why we're not queer unless we're in a same gender relationship, and then it was used to shit all over ace and aro people for not being "visibly queer", then they turned on nonbinary people who "look cis", and now I see people throwing it at trans men for some reason like???? This is legit becoming an exclusionist dogwhistle to me. Any merit to this concept is completely obliterated by assholes who are so addicted to playing oppression olympics they're meticulously crafting pokemon type advantage charts to categorize all the gays based on who actually has "real" problems and who doesn't, it's agonizing.
Like putting "straight/cis passing privilege" up on the shelf next to "comphet" until people can learn how to use it in a way that doesn't invalidate someone else's queerness.

now that transmascs are the fun exclusionist target I get to see every twenty posts something like "disgusting how trans men come on here and act like women oppress men, misandry isn't real! what a victim complex, men amiright" knowing full well what OP actually means is that is that they have an unnuanced understanding of feminism and oppression and believe that the identity "man" somehow completely overrides oppression and never adds to it.
but I have no way to know if Trusted Mutual believes that or just didn't understand the dogwhistles ...
#please unfollow me if you think transmascs structurally oppress cis OR trans women#please unfollow me if you believe men dont face gendered oppression based on the INTERSECTIONALITY yall keep throwing around#please unfollow me if you dont understand that men are punished for not performing masculinity and women are for being masculine

You know the point of "protecting the children" dogwhistles, right? It's a reference to the idea that all queer people are child abusers. Super common belief among homophobes and transphobes, including (sometimes especially) gay ones.
It's also not just "a dogwhistle". When pressed to explain what exactly they want to protect children from, it's a ready-made emotional appeal to something that has broad social support. Most people, even if they don't like being around kids, are also not pro-child abuse. That's why conservatives go out of their way to invent (even if it's completely fictional) "reasons" why acceptance of gay and trans people amounts to child abuse. It helps them create an emotional connection with their target audience, and can be leveraged into logically ridiculous arguments like "well, if you don't agree with my platform, you must be pro child abuse, because I'm on the side of The Children".
"Protecting the children" is also super appealing to parents in particular, not because all parents are secretly authoritarians, but because it's super common to have a child and realize "Oh shit, I brought this person who can't defend themselves into the world and the world kind of sucks", and to feel horribly, horribly inadequate in the face of that.
I get very tired of people who mock, scorn, and ridicule people for falling for these rhetorical traps, or being snared by something that seems common-sense but disguises something ugly underneath. They are traps. That is what they're meant to be. That is why there are gay people who fall for anti-queer rhetoric, and get pulled into exclusionist or violently reactionary circles. We all have things we are vulnerable to, whether that is a history of being abused or a deep fear that we cannot protect our own children, who we brought into the world and are responsible for the protection of. And we gain nothing by mocking the latter.
I'm sure it makes some people feel great to say "well if you were really who you claim to be, you wouldn't fall for this shit", but frankly, that's a stupid-ass take. It misses entirely that these messages are carefully crafted by the people who hate us! They workshop these statements! They spend months or years trying to find the right message and when they find it they use the hell out of it, because it works. Because they are listening to the public conversations people are having online, and it doesn't take any level of basic agreement to be capable of regurgitating the party line word-for-word.
I am so sick of people who look at a deeply-embedded struggle over social and political ideals and think that this fight won't demand our whole brains and hearts and souls and yeah, we might fuck up because we care deeply and sometimes, people with bad intentions prey on that. On our grief and our fear and our rage.
And I'm frankly a lot more nervous around people who refuse to be aware of that, especially when they loudly mock the people who are willing to acknowledge their own fallibility and explore how they got ensnared in something. People are not moral machines, they are people.
#that post was pure moral purity police and it was so aggravating#the WHOLE point of that post was to shame every single person who saw it for being fallible and the net effect will not be to make us bette#it will be to make us less willing to interrogate ourselves and whether we're on the right track

Hey Ive seen Baeddel used in a lot of your posts but like,, other than a definition of the word I cant really find much on what it means like discourse-wise.
I know its something relating to transfems but other than that im lost x.x sorry for the bother
Basically it started out as an old timey slur for trans women. The word "bad" is rooted from it. In the early 2010s a group of trans women adopted the term and had a community for a very short time before it collapsed and not much information is left over.
Some say that had abusive dynamics. Some say they were just talking about transfeminism like they do now. My sibling swears up and down from their personal experiences with the initial group that they were a group of grifters using queer politics to fundraise for tumblers first big scam, The ARK(C?) Project.
A bunch of anti-transfeminists in their efforts to create the magical word that will allow them to terf-jacket trans women without having it called out as such happened upon the term and used the lack of concrete history/the fact that most of the subjective history isn't too charitable to this original group to fabricate a conspiracy theory that these original Beaddels were an evil cabal of bigoted trans women who never really went away and now operate and sow intracommunity discourse from the shadows for the explicit purpose of weakening the holy divinity of TransUnity.
And while some of them moved on to other terms like "TIRF" and "Neo Radfem" a good portion of TransUnity/Transandro anti-transfeminists have latched onto the term and have doubled down on their intent to use it to create a category of trans women that it's ok to exclude. Out of all of the anti-transfeminists that have come out of this new wave, the ones who build their politics around "Anti-Beaddelism" are some of the most mask-off exclusionists of the bunch. Like look at how they talk about Beadels
They will list how these groups have a bunch of ties to nearly every anti-queer group they could think of. And then they warn White™(Because everytime they attack trans women they have to pretend like it's a race thing to distract from the transmisogyny) that they mean to need to maintain a sense of hypervigilance around their transfem sisters and read into every laugh, every joke, and every word for the possibility of finding Beaddel rhetoric. This is a manipulative abusive tactic to keep the transfems within their sphere of influence to reach other to other transfems and rely on TME people to tell them what's right and provide community.
I remember on sailorportia's "Anti-Egg discoursers sound just like my conversation therapist" post I saw one of these people referring to the notes section as "full of beaddel dogwhistles" and inviting people to "take a look and educate themselves". Not specifying what the dogwhistles are or how they are dogwhistles. Just vaguely gesturing at the notes section and inviting you to regard anything a vocal trans woman as a crypto-beaddel and anything they say as "beaddel dogwhistles"
These communities cultivate a sense of paranoia. They encourage constant scrutiny regarding anything a trans woman says. Their leaders sell themselves as protectors of the community whose exclusion is a necessary evil to keep online trans communities safe. They are incentivized to keep the term Beaddel definition murky but representative of all the evils they attribute to trans women.
The term in the modern day is largely prescriptive and moreso defined by the reactionary "Anti-Beadelism" movement than it is defined by its history. Only a few trans women have reclaimed the term. When anti-transfeminists talk about Beaddelism they aren't talking about an organized group or community, they are referring to a bunch of individual trans women they have branded with the beaddel slur.
Currently I don't think reclaiming the word is a good move. Not that I disagree with it or think trans women shouldn't reclaim it. It's just that it will do more harm than good for as long as exclusionists control the narrative on its definition. I've seen mutuals have their posts on general transfeminism get completely discarded out of hand because they had Beaddel in their profile name or bio.
Because like it or not the current definition of Beaddels that gets passed around was written by current ex-terfs/transandro nothorses bro and cites TERF resources in their definition. This is the same dude who's responsible for the foundation or the current TransUnity echo chamber and used the influence from creating that community to try and redefine TERF to include trans women for the purpose of TERF-jacketing.
It's why me and some other trans women have been picking up the words trasfeminism to refer to discussions of transfem issues and anti-transfeminist to refer to these new wave of transfem exclusionist. It denies the exclusionists the ability to define our politics for us to outsiders. Also note: If the term trasfeminism picks up in use your going to see a lot of these people switch from "Beaddel" to "Radical Transfeminist" as their go-to anti-transfeminist TERF-jacketing slur

Since we're getting close to Pride month, just remember that if your flag isn't in a group/collection:
Don't tear down the flags who were included.
If it's a small creator be polite and maybe ask? Instead of demanding?
If it's big corpo then raise hell.
Sincerely,
A Bi-Ace who watched both flags get shit on last year + the year before when some specific flags weren't included by big corpo and who watched people dogpile small creators who had actually included the requested flags, just in a different post nobody bothered to look up first.
Also please please be vigilant about biphobia, transphobia, and aphobia this year, they always rear their hydra heads during Pride. Educate yourself on TERF, truscum, separatist, and exclusionist talking points so you can identify dogwhistles instead of spreading them.

i downloaded the tumblr app just so that i could dunk this fucking comment.
you guys hate lesbians so fucking much. i swear to god i've seen maybe two posts from lesbians (not radfems) joking or complaining about men at chappell concerts. and yet i see multiple thousand note posts disavowing these women for being "exclusionist" or Whatever the fuck. we are literally inventing a problem like guys no this time i promise men are oppressed. guys i promise this time it's real. the cishets are in danger we need to save them from the mean scary lesbians oops i mean radfems :( meanwhile you all let terfs run rampant on this site.
i think it’s insane that chappell can say things like “i want to see more lesbians!” and people can see that as a BAD thing. i swear some of you are stupid on purpose because god fucking knows you wouldn’t see discourse about this if she hadn’t identified as a lesbian. like i’m sorry you all hate a woman looking for her community so bad and think it’s some kind of dogwhistle but i genuinely cannot help you.
i’m tired of self-righteous posts condemning lesbians for being upset at CISHET MEN in a queer space (and again, to be VERY clear. this is such a small minority of people complaining that i swear you’re looking for them on purpose so that you can whine and complain about the oppressed straight cis men.) like tell me have you ever seen a post where someone goes “god i hate those queer gay and trans men at chappell roan concerts. those guys specifically!!!” like do you know anyone even a little normal who would say that. or is it more important to let everyone know that lesbians looking for their space and their people is evil and we should let cis men come be straight at our shit. no thank you
#chappell roan#lesbian#the notes of this post are fucking rancid#and it’s got thousands.#i’m so sick of this shit man get me out#making up a lesbian to get mad at…..#[#cause it's not just this guy it is all of you fuckers

Let's talk about Radical Feminists and TERFs: Another collection of hate.
(Content Warning: Pretty much everything, but especially transmisia, particularly transmisogyny, eugenics and other Nazi rhetoric, racism, intersexism, slur usage, mentions of not sfw topics/not sfw sentences and mentions of sexual assault. Reader discretion is especially advised on this, as this is probably one of the most triggering posts I've ever created). Additional Disclaimer: Like with my "Let's Talk about Exclusionists" post, I've collected multiple screenshots of the horrid things TERFs and other Radfems have said or done. Not all of those screenshots are mine, some of them are things I have found on the web. Credits to especially radfemstruggles (Twitter), terfism-harms-women, terf-cringe and other anti-terf pages/blogs I've found these on. As always, I don't condone harassment. Just because someone is a TERF doesn't give you the right to harass them, especially considering a good chunk of TERFs I've noticed are literal teenagers (of course, that never excuses their actions). Just report them and block. Pride month is over, but that doesn't mean queer folks are going away.
However, neither are the bigots, and especially not the TERFs. Nope. They're still out there and as harmful as ever. "Now, wait a minute Shadow. What even *IS* a TERF anyway?" Well, you're gonna be in for one hell of a ride, so buckle up sunshine.
TERF is short for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist. Put simply, Transphobic "feminists". TERFs align themselves with Radical Feminism- Radfem for short, a very extreme branch of feminism. However, not every Radfem is a TERF, though Radfems are still best to be avoided due to their extreme ideology. (Likewise, not every feminist is a Radfem, let alone a TERF). How to Identify a TERF: Common Dogwhistles and Nicknames. TERFs won't call themselves a TERF by themselves. In fact, some consider the term to be a slur (News flash: no it is fucking not lmfao). There are many dogwhistles, and I can't fit all of them in here. However here's the most common ones: Gender Critical - a very *VERY* common identifer by TERFs. MERF - Short for Male Exclusionary Radical Feminist. It basically calls trans women men and also ignores the fact that there are, contrary to popular belief, men that are also feminists. "TERF is a slur/Cis is a slur" - A common dogwhistle. The latter is also used by transphobes in general. Misandrist/Proud Misandrist - Misandrist refers to hatred of men. The term originated from misogynists as a counter to feminism, however the term has been reclaimed by radfems. However, a good majority of folks who identify with this term are transphobic, so it should best be avoided. Womyn/Wombyn and their varients - Alternative spellings of "woman/women". Per Wikipedia, "Some writers who use such alternative spellings, avoiding the suffix "-man" or "-men", see them as an expression of female independence and a repudiation of traditions that define women by reference to a male norm." The term "womxn" is also used in some cases, however that term should not be a sole identifier, as "womxn" is also sometimes used by agender individuals. "Womyn" alone is also not a sole identifier, as there are some who try to reclaim it (that and there's also something about it being used in AAVE, but I can't find much info on that). However, "Womyn-born woman" should be an instant red flag. KAM - Short for K-ll all men (i). Even without the TERFy connections, I don't think I need to explain why this is bad. --It should also be noted that any variation of "all men are trash" is inherently TERFy, no matter how you look at it. You'll see why in a bit. Hygenic - Another term used by TERFs. It also references eugenics, explained further in this post. FebFem - Short for "Female Exclusive Bisexual Female". This term is common in TERF spaces, especially with Bi TERFs. However, there have been attempts to reclaim the term from the group. Similar groups that overlap - Should also be avoided:
SWERF - Short for Sex Worker Exclusionary Radical Feminist. This group is against the objectification of women, sex trafficking and the exploitation of women in pornography. Sounds harmless right? Wrong. While it appears good intentioned at first, most SWERFs are against sex work overall, believing that women can't *truly* partake in sex work willingly. This group also overlaps with TERFs, 99% of the time, though not every SWERF is a TERF. Due to sex work being a topic that gets pretty NSFW, I won't be going over this group in this post any further outside of mentions, since I'm not qualified to talk about NSFW topics as a minor. There are, however, probably several other posts that talk about this particular group. TEHM - Short for Trans Exclusionary Homosexual Males. The same as TERFs, but with homosexual men instead of women. Enby Skeptics - A group skeptical of nonbinary identities, as shown by the name. Some TERFs may identify with this term. Longsword Lesbian/Gravity Knife Gays/Gold Star Lesbian - See here for more information regarding these groups. LGB/LGB Drop the T - A movement that claims that being Trans isn't queer. It should go without saying - TERFs aren't harmless. TERFs aren't just some weird basement dwellers on the internet. Nope. They exist *everywhere*. You know JK Rowling? She's a TERF! And probably one of the most recognizable TERFs out there (she's also a lot more bigoted beyond transphobia, so yeah). However, this post will mostly cover the online aspect of TERFism, since even the online world can seep into danger in real life. So, without further ado, let's get into the hate. Note: This post covers Radical Feminism in general, however the main focus is TERFs and similar groups. Of course, you have the transphobia, slurs and suibait.
(Image: Two Tumblr anons side by side. One word has been covered in red. One anon reads "You troons sure love playing the victim. 😂😂No won-der people can't stand you". The second reads "Hng yourself gendie". End ID).
(Image ID: An anon that reads ""They can't even say woman" Not everyone who menstruates is a woman." The reply is "Yes they are. Nonbinary isn't real, only two genders exist. Gender and sex are the same thing. Your personality and clothing preference doesn't define your sex. Your biology does. Have a good day!" End ID) ...Having pronouns is misogynistic? Really? You know women have pronouns too... right?
(Image ID: A user's twitter bio. Their username is covered. The bio reads "All I think about is karma. Pronouns in bio signify membership of misogynist cult". End ID) Seriously they're not even trying to hide the transphobia.
(Image ID: A Tumblr bio that reads "trans activism is misogyny").
(Image ID: A post from user "radfem-moira" that reads "Transwomen are men and it shows when they speak").
However, the transphobia, as despicable as it is, is not the only thing that makes TERFs dangerous. TERFs have also even went as far as to advocate for violence, as shown here.
(Image ID: A post from user "terf-vengeance" featuring artwork of an individual wearing a crop top covered in blood, reading "I punch trans activists". Below the artwork reads "Is it okay to punch transtrenders? Yes two thousand times, yes, punch them!" Also, here is something I've noticed. Notice how Radfems talk about abuse, particularly sexual abuse. In conversations regarding such a topic, women are usually brought up as the victims. Male victims are almost never mentioned, and when you bring them up they accuse you of not caring about male victims because you brought them up when talking about women. Well, you might not think much of it, but it goes deeper than just misinformation and being insensitive. TERFs don't care about male victims either. In fact, they don't care about sexual assault survivors at all if you look hard enough. In fact, if the victim is a male, they actually *encourage* it. And will sometimes admit to even *wanting* to do the same thing to men. Here's one *literally* repeating a common misogynistic argument, but with men at the focus.
(Image ID: A Twitter post with the individual's username and profile picture covered. The post reads "Males are only tools for sex and labor. THATS IT". End ID). ...this post makes me sick just by looking at it alone.
(Image ID: A Twitter post from a person named "aoi". Some information is covered. The post reads "Young boys are degenerates beyond any help. I wouldn't even oppose them getting their ass rped by grown men (they deserve that) if it wasn't for the risk that other grown ass men would also start to advocate for pedophilia on girls. I can't care less about boys". End ID). And this one is even *worse*
(Image ID: A Tumblr post featuring an anon asking "What are your thoughts on male sex workers?". The reply is "Male "sex workers" make up an incredibly tiny amount of "sex workers", and while I think prostituted men deserve to get out of it as well, they're pimped and rped by men, which makes it a male-on-male issue and not a priority for feminists"). The point of feminism is gender equality for ALL and fighting the patriarchy. This however is not feminism. This only shows that you don't actually care about gender equality. Here's one straight up admitting to want to abuse people.
(Image ID: A Tumblr post with the individual's name blacked out. The post reads "i won't lie the urge to manipulate, gaslight and psychologically torture a man and lead him to suicide has been festering inside me for a while now. studying psychology too, i genuinely think i could pull it off. they grow attachments very easily and if i could just find one that was already mentally ill i think i could do it easily". End ID). ...All I'm gonna say about that one is that I hope this individual never EVER gets into a relationship or has kids, and if they're already in a relationship I genuinely feel sorry for their partner and I hope said partner leaves them. And here's someone who sent a sexual assault wish to a literal *minor* (And when called out on it they said the screenshot was "fake").
(Image ID: Two Tumblr convos side by side, both have two messages, the first one reads, from stopglorifyingkillers, "I never called you a pedo, please point out where I had.". itchy-astroterf replies with "I hope your stupidity and misguided trust in trans gets you rped. Maybe then you'll see my fucking point.". The next convo reads, the first message from actuallyabused, "ah yes, you totally dont want anyone to get rped.". To which itchy-astroterf replies with "That's copyshopped, you dingus".) Oh yeah. You know how TERFs argue that "Trans women are predatory"? Well... about that. (Full post here - CW: Pedophilia, sexual assault, ableism, uncensored slur).
(Image ID: Three posts from Tumblr user "homohooker". Reading, in this order, "You look beautiful with makeup on !", "You're so cute 😍😍😍 but this isn't gay babes this would be straight" and "Its a sexual orientation like being lesbian or gay lol you're a fucking"- the final word is blanked out. Next to the username reads either "taling to a minor" or "talking about pedophilia" in red text. End ID).
(Image ID: A Tumblr User's bio reading "Right back at it again" in bold black text. Below it reads "Riley, 21, femle, lesbian, map, kids can consent, men aren't lesbians". End ID) This one wasn't in the post but it's from the same person sooo.
(Image ID: A Tumblr post that reads "ok but who doesn't think 12-17 year old girls are cute". End ID) Honestly, it's posts like these that make me *really* hope it's a troll. Also, let's not ignore the fact that TERFs and Radfems are more than transphobic. In fact, they can be other kinds of bigoted for example. Arophobia and biphobia in ONE.
(Image ID: A tumblr post from user "guncase". The post reads "Men cannot love. It is not in their nature to stay monogamous. You can look at the Bible, you can look at recorded history, you can look at present day - you can even look at your own experiences with men. Their love is one sided. They only love themselves, and not even each other. Find love within yourselves, your fellow women, and keep it safe, because the minute you let a Man find that love, the minute you lose it.") More biphobic crap. (I should also add that there is a huge debate in radfem spaces on whether or not bisexual women are welcome or if their "traitors", just throwing that out there).
(Image ID: Two Tumblr posts/asks with usernames censored. The posts read, respectively, "because your nullye! stop making thousands of fucking accounds and talking to yourself. go d homophobe" and "first off you're female and if you said that you're actually dating a man that makes you fucking hetero. I really doubt that you're actually dating".) I'd also like to add I had to censor an anti-schizophrenic slur in the first one, so there's that.
(Image ID: A Tumblr ask from an anonymous user. The ask reads "I hope you di in a violent and torturous way. I hope your genitals get mutilated. You are a disgusting person for even liking a male. Fuck you." End ID). And let's not forget the intersexism! (Disclaimer: Using it/it's pronouns is valid. Using "it" to describe *all* intersex people however... is shitty).
(Image ID: A Twitter post from an individual who's name is censored. The post reads "If you have XX chromosomes your pronouns are she, if you have XY chromosomes your pronouns are he. If you're intersex your pronouns are it. No way in hell I'm calling an intersex thing 'she'. You are not to appropriate my gender") Oh speaking of ableism, a lot of TERFs can be pretty fucking ableist too. ...Towards each other.
(Image ID: A Tumblr post from user "femaleinsight". The post reads "i hope all autistic men fucking di the most painful fucking death that could ever be experienced on this earth. signed, a tired autistic woman <3") (First of all, what is it with disabled/neurodivergent terfs and wanting their own kind *dead*?) ...And some can also be PRETTY FUCKING RACIST :D (Had to censor the n-word in this one).
(Image ID: A Twitter post that reads "You know saying TERF to someone is like calling someone a ner. Which are terms that are insults and pejorative"). For context, MENA is short for Middle East and North Africa. Make what you will of this screenshot.
(Image ID: A Twitter post that reads "if you see me with a machete randomly k*ll*ng mena males mind your business").
And sometimes, two and two can actually go together! A while back, I reblogged a that talked about TERFs using the word "hygienic" to mean "cis", like this individual shown below (Edit: link and reblog removed since OP fit my DNI + one of the folks adding to it was hacked and became a scambot, and I'd rather not expose people to that).
(Image ID: A Tumblr post from user "dykexy" that reads "petition to change the word "cis" to "hygienic"". End ID) Now you might be wondering, why am I bringing it up again? Well, someone in the comments of said post mentioned that it reminded them of "Racial Hygiene". Now, what is "Racial Hygiene"? Well... according to Wikipedia, it refers to "an approach to eugenics in the early 20th century, which found its most extensive implementation in Nazi Germany (Nazi eugenics)." So basically, it's eugenics. Specifically, Nazi eugenics. And with TERFs using the term "hygienic", they're saying that Trans people are inherently dirty by genetics. You might think this is a reach, but with everything shown here, there's clearly more to it.
Then again, what else do you expect from folks who do *this*
(Image ID: A Twitter post that reads "I'm not really going to spend another Saturday taking photos of trans people and running them through the sex-change filter on FaceApp to see what they looked like before, am i? I am". End ID) And act hypocritical (TERFS: "Trans women fetishize real women!" Also TERFS:)
(Image ID: A Twitter post that reads "It is so weird to me when trans people show a "before and after" when they get their first binder. If you have bad enough chest dysphoria to buy a binder in the first place, why are you showing the whole internet your tits?" End ID) And make nonsensical posts/replies like THIS.
(Image ID: A Twitter user replying to a post that reads "Me and my good friend texting about the #BodyBlitz thing: "People need to get used to gender non-conforming bodies"". The reply reads "Gee, so you are in favor of rpe culture? Telling women to "get used" to rpists and perverts in women's spaces? Really?" End ID) Seriously. Don't let the "feminist" label fool you. TERFs and Radfems do not care about gender equality or women's rights. They are using the feminist label and women's rights as an excuse for their transphobia and other bigotry. They do not care about sexual assault survivors. They do not care about women of color. They do not care about disabled women. In fact, they only advocate for the very abuse they claim to be against. They advocate for the racism and nazism they claim to be against. Don't let them fool you.

transmed, anti-self dx, people who think that systems can't be endogenic (are you getting paid to be a cop)
anyone who hates Stephenie Meyer's Twilight (ok. I'm sure it's a coincidence that it's associated with women and girls)
anyone who denies that the French crown rightly belongs to the cadet house of the House of Orléans
Jerma stans
whoever is responsible for how terribly text behaves when you mix left-to-right and right-to-left scripts
exclusionists (anyone who believes that asexuals are not inherently LGBT)
anyone with a Gemini moon sign
people who started constructing a shrine in their front yard to the goddess Baphomet years ago but it still isn't complete because you keep on revising and building, deconstructing and rebuilding, always building and building and feverishly building, there's sweat in your eyes and it blocks out the sun (the sweat), shouldn't you take a break, shouldn't you keep working, shouldn't you take another look at the plans, you'll never be finished, are you sure the plans are right, you're almost there, you can taste it (the sweat) there's so much left to go, it blocks out the sun (the monument)
people with blue eyes (I just think they're gross)

Anyways, keep supporting trans muns and muses, and keep talking about your trans muses. What I've learned from tumblr's shitty moderation fiasco, is that I got results from politely emailing staff every 5-6 hours, and my rp blogs didn't get terminated 15 times that one month and its first anon hate to take transphobic mass-reporting hysterics lying down.
The terminations happened when I was publishing detailed information and headcanons regarding my (self-insert, ftm) transition. I don't believe this was a coincidence. Research HRT. Research surgeries, including the recovery processes vs final results. Look at medical sources, look at trans peoples' stories, ask questions of your own, there are plenty of social media outlets to create a whole library of information, from multiple sources. Don't let transphobia scare you. Don't let trans people scare you.
Write trans muses if you want. Getting corrected or doing it 'wrong' for a while will not kill you. Support trans muns, and also support cis muns writing trans muses! We want the correct information out there, not the propaganda, not the assumptions. Think about all of the 'risks' of needing to remake, of getting shadowbanned, of getting harassed? We need to be better than that. We are worth coming back to, and we need to look like it. Know where, and how to spend your energy and frustrations.
Community will always be better than outright hate, even if the frustration of minorities might seem like hate. Know where it's coming from. Know what you need to know to tell exclusionists that they are wrong. To tell genuine ignorant people what's not quite right. And try to keep an eye out for dogwhistles, transphobic or otherwise. Because flowery language isn't enough, you have to practice actually being nice to other people. Keep practicing.
Be willing to teach what transphobia is, what transphobic actions coming from non-transphobes are, so that the people who refuse to listen, change, or be nice don't feel enabled to be vile.
#psa#tumblr commentary#long post#transphobia mention#okay to reblog#back then I had assumed automation but in hindsight? mass reporting from right-wingers makes sense#allies are not worth losing. but they are worth teaching#listen. even if a better website comes along? don't you want to be together when it does?#also this energy extends out to any other marginalized group. not just trans people. but we need to work together#in the sense that this 'work' is fun and rping needs to be fun. make it fun!

What's a proshipper?
Essentially someone who thinks fiction can’t and doesn’t affect reality, and/or believes people should be able to woobify, romanticize, and sexualize anything they want and that asking/telling them to, y’know, show some basic damn respect is synonymous with being against creative freedom. While it may have meant something good once upon a time nowadays it’s just a cover/dogwhistle for people who get their rocks off to p*dophilia, zoophilia, inc*st, noncon, and the like. Writing about those subjects as things that unfortunately exist in the world and treating them as the dire things they are is one thing, writing about them in a way clearly meant to paint them as attractive, “not that bad/harmful actually”, or fucking identities that belong under the queer umbrella is abhorrent and only shows that one views their own rancid fantasies as more important than the safety and wellbeing of other people, whether they be vulnerable to or already victims of such things.
Also. May or may not be related but I’ve found that a lot of proshippers often tend to also be transphobes/TERFs and exclusionists. So take that information as you will.
#asks#rambling#ask to tag#cw proship mention#cw pedophila mention#cw incest mention#btw if I get any proshippers in my inbox or notes it’s an instablock :)

"you asexuals are always blaming trolls for your homophobia"
thats because they ARE trolls. the "doggo is an aphobic dogwhistle" post was a troll. that whole account was a troll, every single post they made. and do you really think someone would say "im aromantic and i dont like romance books" and just leave it at that? such a stock line? no greater reason why they didnt like the book just "im aromantic". as if a lot of aromantic people dont enjoy romance books. and 99% of what allos call "homophobia" is literally just us talking about our experiences and you label it homophobia because you dont understand. and you dont want to
"you just call people exclusionists instead of listening to what they have to say"
all you people ever have to say is insults. is making fun of the terms we come up with to describe ourselves. never any genuine complaints just "lol you dont want to have sex so your not REALLY queer" you literally just say that we dont belong here. you know what? i think certain ace people do have a problem with sex negativity (not to be confused with sex repulsion. not that you care). thats a genuine problem sometimes. but a lot of us are gay/lesbians ourselves so how can you just blanket call all of us homophobes?
"i dont care about the discourse"
correcting misinformation and bigotry isnt considered discourse for gay or trans people. no one has ever told me to shut up about "transfem discourse" have they? no, what you call "discourse" was actually you people participating in a deliberate hate campaign against a minority sexual orientation just because you didnt understand us, so you hated us, and now you want nothing to do with it. you refuse to even look at AVEN's faq and common misconceptions. you cant even do that.
#raven.txt#im fucking tired.#some of you are genuinely cruel awful people but its totally fine because we're virgin losers or whatever

Watched a video titled "Problems with the bisexual spectrum" (would've preferred if they used multisexual but that's not the point) and scrolled down through the comment section. While the majority of the comments were mspecs appreciating the vid and sharing their own experiences and thoughts, I noticed a pattern of pansexuals (+ people who used to label themselves as pansexual) sharing how they were constantly harassed, judged, and mocked for using the label. The constant harassment eventually culminating itself into self-hatred
Some ended their piece by reassuring they learned to stopped caring about what exclusionist think, and happily continue labeling as pan (or later go on to discover that another label fits them better) but others ended it by saying that while they know pan is a valid label, the harassment consequently made them uncomfortable of pansexuality, and would rather not have anything to do with it at all.
I had a similar experience years ago. Witnessing multiple non-bi mspecs constantly mocked and forced to use the bisexual label, "Bi vs Pan" posts painting pansexuality in the most negative light imaginable being highly supported, exclusionist, without fail, commenting either "I don't see anything 🤔" whenever a pan flag is showed off or "I guess 'X' doesn't exist now 😔" whenever a fictional char is headcannoned as pan, just made me resent myself and pansexuality, forcing myself to simply use 'saphic'
Those comments made me realized just how common of an occurrence this was, and I felt dejected after thinking about them for too long. Like, we go through that whole proccess of self-loathing and constant pressure to ID as something else, and yet no one outside our community seems to care?
Whenever a prominent LGBT+ figure/site talks about pansexuality (IF they even talk about it as it's own thing), it's only "They exist, and they are valid <3". Don't get me wrong, this is very appreciated, but why do they never use that opportunity to shed light on more valuable pieces of information as well. Show the community at large our history without the misinformation, expose the normalization of pan exclusion and the prominence of anti-pan dogwhistles, show pansexual's mental health statistics, etc.
I want to finish off this long rant (sorry btw) by saying thank you 💖💛💙 Your blog has helped me mentally throughout these years. I love reading through the Pan History and Pan Statistics carrds especially. If it wasn't for you or this blog, I would still be that self-loathing resentful person I was years ago. So again, thank you 💖💛💙
(I also want to apologize again for basically sending you an essay 😅 I got passionate writing this; if I left out any info/context, I would've exploded. Have a good evening!)
it's honestly so sad that pan people go through this and seemingly no one cares. and ugh yeah when the only thing regarding pan mentioned is something like "it's valid" or "pan people are part of the bi umbrella" it's like....that's it? what about something meaningful? it's just telling, ya know? like we're not worthy of genuine and meaningful consideration.
but yeah, no worries about the long rant! sorry for taking a while to get to it, though! i'm glad the blog and stuff has been helpful to you. you deserve to love and celebrate yourself and not be weighed down by hatred or doubt caused by the ignorance and malice of others. i hope you're doing well and have a lovely day! 💛💛

the absolute hypocrisy. lol
"but global language policing is a fucking scam to help exclusionists, hope that helps" cool, so next time someone in the UK calls a trans man "honey" they won't be arrested and fined for "hate speech"? or you'll back me up when i call your crossdressing friend luna a male, because someone insisting otherwise would be language policing? right?
bonus: everything is a "dogwhistle" now. the TRAs have rendered it all to mean nothing. they try to draw lines in the sand with their own backwards, nonsensical rules while trying to stomp out the concrete divides set in stone by biology and tangible reality
bonus-bonus: when you have to call something a "dogwhistle" when it is just lived reality that is contrary to your opinion, that's a very definitive you problem. lol

Just now a non lesbian mutual who I thought was a friend and someone I could trust messaged me, telling me one of the posts I had reblogged about lesbians being mistreated was made by a "bi lesbian exclusionist" and that they knew(?) that I'm "not like that" (which isn't true I just haven't outright said it bc i feel like almost everyone I saw as friends has recently started supporting mspec lesbians and it makes me nervous) but that I really needed to get better at recognizing dogwhistles and terf rhetoric and transphobia. They literally said they "hated to have to get into this as a non lesbian" but that it's important to uplift bi lesbian voices as it is "transphobic" to say lesbians can not be men and can not be attracted to men. I'm upset idk. The post explicitly said trans women are women so it's not like they could even use the "the op is probably a terf" argument. They did talk about the "bi lesbian exclusionist to terf pipeline" though.
Your “friend” doesn’t even know what terf rhetoric means. Terf rhetoric is wanting to include trans men in lesbianism, terf rhetoric is wanting to call yourself a bi lesbian because you’re attracted to nb people or trans women.
Tbh I would immediately block that person.
