I’ve always been too much. “Too weird.” “Too loud.” “Too butch.” “Too wirey.” These are all actual phrases that people have said to me; I’m not just interpreting or assuming how I think people perceive me. That’s just what I’ve been told. And I thought that “too much” was who I was. Sometimes I’d dial it back, and other times, I’d let it rip. 🤪 The scary thing is, lately, The Holy Spirit has been nudging me to let out even more. I’ve had 3 different people this week mention in their own wonderful ways that I should keep being even more of me. Terrifying. I thought I was already at that max. Just when I thought I was at the highest dB, I’ve been called to crank it up. 😂 I guess we’ll see how this goes! Thank you for your kind words, pals! What I want to remember from this season... I did more than stay comfortable. I saw a lot of need and got to help fill some of it. I let go of this striving to fill all the needs at my own soul’s expense. I took time for me. I journaled regularly. Happy or sad; rain or shine; I showed up to the page day after day, and it constantly helped. It constantly helps.

I went to Sam’s for a bit Saturday... We did our nails and talked about big + small things, and that helps too. We need each other -not to fix- but to be with. Thank God for friends to BE with.🖤

Everything is spiritual.

I accept this to be true. The water is everything to the fish. The expanse in the sky is everything to the bird. The dense dark of rich soil is everything to the seed. Everything is everything to everything and that everything is spiritual.

In the silence of nothing there is something at work. In the too much efforting deep things are missed. When focus is placed on the outcome of this or that and the main thrust is to do, then only frustration will pay.

The spiritual does not require a deposit or a retainer. It simply breathes unabated through a blade of grass, a splash of water, the touch of a leaf, the word of a baby or the sound of the wind. All these are pointers.

The spiritual is you and and us. We are spirit first. These frames are but housing. The most powerful reality is that when we choose to swim in the sea of silence the exact solution and more are at our service.

The Universe is an infinite organising power and we are part of it. It's the silence that speaks that works to bring everything we desire to reality. If the greatest scientist knew this then we too know this. We just reach within and there it is; everything is spiritual.
