today i was listening to bôa - twilight and now i'm thinking about sebmark/webbonso dynamic being either

young seb rapidly going mad that mark doesn't pay him any attention other than it is supposed to be about their work, so he starts acting up and bothering mark and everyone around. basically stirs shit until it becomes unbearable to even walk by the red bull motorhome. where mark is fully invested in maintaining his nice relationship with fernando, because he loves and cares about nando and nando only like what is your problem, kid, don't you see i have more important matters than being your babysitter, go, go! seb sees, he wants to tear someone apart. he can't really decide if it's fernando or mark. or himself. for a good measure.

or

fernando losing his religion in the corner best friend and the only man he truly knows and trusts and loves to some cocky teenage brat after almost a decade of settled and peaceful life. where he knew he had an anchor in mark and now it's just gone because suddenly it turns out that pretty blue eyes mean more that what they have been building together for so long. and mark is like what are you talking about, you're my friend, my best friend and always has been. fernando bitterly thinks "yeah sure i'll be there to watch you crawl back to me with your shattered heart, when that diabolical nymphet is done playing with you"

At some point in your life, there will be a moment where exactly - or near exactly - half the people in the world are younger than you, and half the people are older.

And I think that moment should be the one your soulmate Mark appears at, not at birth or puberty or something. Both because at birth is kind of boring but it's also very you-centric and soulmates are about the thing outside of you being a part of you, and I think it would be nice to include The World.

But also I think it would have fascinating implications for scientific and social studies. Longevity trends tracked by the average age soul marks appear. Tragedies causing a rash of recent marks to disappear (because the people are no longer the middle). Marks appearing early during baby booms.

#soulmates #i just think it would be neat #and let people survive their teenage years #and discover who they are before they get told who they're matched with #gives everyone a chance to fall in love naturally #AND best of all #it means YOUR mark may appear now but if your soul mate is younger than you #it wouldn't appear for them yet #meaning a new dynamic and honestly less stress i think #because if you fall in love with someone not your soulmate you wouldn't necessarily know #unless you were the exact same age somehow #which tbh since soulmates isn't romantic a large portion of the time #twins probably share a mark #in this world you can have as many soulmates as you want btw #you can have pets be soulmates too but their mark appears when #they're the middle point for their species #i should really sleep #nightblogging

dream was NOT trick or treating he just wore a hat to be festive (totally). techno absolutely was however and went as dream's cat familiar, and he was very successful. he will magnanimously deign to give some of his candy to dream since he DID make techno's costume better by standing next to him all night but he will make fun of him while doing so

Its really interesting that Jimmy’s chair is the one tilted away from the screen in this shot:

It’s indicative of how his and Jimmy’s dynamic was. He’s not staring ahead at the screen, he’s not paying attention to what they are doing. Curly is the only one looking forward. Jimmy quite literally couldn’t see the responsibility Curly had or was doing. Jimmy likely slacked off and avoided most of his duties. I mean the one time we know he pilots the Tulpar he steers it wrong and loses the team 4000 credits. Even in the positions they held objectively, Curly was always taking responsibility for Jimmy. Not to mention the “We can fix this” and only one chair at attention. Jimmy never had intentions to fix anything, throughout the game, throughout his entire relationship with Curly. Curly always fixed it? Why would it be any different here?

If he even took the slightest bit of responsibility, he would’ve stayed in the cockpit to see his plan through. In the end Curly did what Jimmy always expected him to do for him and took responsibility. Did what he always did and took responsibility at the wrong time…

#cross posted on twitter #I like think it’s insane how subtle some shots are but yeah #like he doesn’t even take the captains seat to try and crash the ship #the one time he took quote responsibility unquote he still did it from the inattentive side #and then ran from what he did and literally shielded himself from the consequences like closed the door and all like it’d be done quick #even if Curly didn’t run in we know it would’ve failed and everyone would’ve known #also I saw someone say that Jimmy assaulted Anya because he was trying to put a black mark on Curly’s record as captain #and I just can’t believe that because he didn’t want to be found out about it #like think about he can’t take responsibility and tries to avoid punishment you really think his ego would allow him to risk #his image and reputation just to get to Curly? he wants to drag curly down by using him as a ring on the ladder but why would he weaken it #first? he only has the job because of him and he’d know that like Jimmy is brash and done but his hateful acts are calculated in a way to #get to others and not back to him #I mean he crashes the ship cause this would go on his permanent record and it’s likely that Jimmy had never got caught for an offense this #socially or legally damning and that’s another reason he panicked so bad he’s clearly escalorty #mouthwashing #mouthwashing game #jimmy mouthwashing #curly mouthwashing
