Note

List of things about Bakugo and his mother I guess (and some about Todoroki his father, Izuocha.) But what do you think about the list?

1. The thing I hate is how everyone is focused on Bakugou's mental health but barley focused on Deku's..... for example if All might died then people would still pay attention to Bakugou's mental health even though it affect Deku's mental health wayyyyy worse.

2. There were plenty of times when Midoriya has been through way more stuff then Bakugou and people still likes to focus him instead.

3. Bakugou needs to say sorry

4. Bakugou's mother is NOT abusive Bakustans they are trying to excuse his behavior, Bakugou's mother personality is not as bad as people think it is .

5. Bakugou had a weak excuse to bully Deku.

6. Endeavors arc is better because he even so he still had some consequences to his actions but it doesn't mean that I like him, his arc should've been even more better if he strengthened the relationship with Todoroki and spend time with children that he neglected such as Natsu and Fuyumi and say sorry to his Children in general especially Todoroki's mom

7. Some Bakustans need to calm down

There are some good Bakustans and there are some bad: usually it's to the point when they have to say sorry for other Toxic Bakustans behavior but toxic Bakustans go Waaaaaaay out in there way to criticize people or Deku saying that " well if Deku would not follow him all the time he wouldn't be Bullied" WHICH is wrong the only reason why he got bullied is because he was quirkless. I want some Justice for Deku

9. Bakugou is lucky that Deku never holded any grudges towards him.

10. Bakugous quirk is NOT that interesting

11. Todoroki should've won the sports festival he had way more experience Todoroki started to train when he was a child.

12. Bakugous mom acts like Tsundere instead of abusive mom she treats him more like a annoying brother

13. I honestly feel like Izuocha is going to be a forced canon ship Aoyama would be better as a love interest (I am sorry this ship if you don't like and support it at all)

You are so right! There is a huge focus on Bakugou’s mental health and how everything has affected him but people tend to ignore that Izuku has gone through many of the same things (minus being kidnapped). I don’t understand why people ignore Izuku’s mental health when not only is the main character but he’s also had a worse round of it? Especially since Bakugou is part of the reason that Izuku’s mental health is so bad.

Yea you’re so right. So many people talk about how being kidnapped is this horrible thing (and it is) however that’s really the only thing really (besides the sludge villain) that is bad that happened to Bakugou. There are so many things that happened to Izuku that are so much worse.

SAY IT AGAIN FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!! BAKUGOU NEEDS TO SAY SORRY! But more than that he needs to actually mean his apology and show that he’s actually changed (which thus far if he’s changed it’s very minimal at best).

We really only see that one scene where Bakugou’s mom smacks him upside the head so it’s hard to judge from there. Personally I do agree that she is most likely not abusive because the way that scene was played it was supposed to be a gag. On a side note, interesting that many bakustans tout that as the reason why his mom is so abusive yet when Bakugou does things 10 times worse to Izuku they completely ignore it or say that it’s just a gag 🙄

There is no reason for Bakugou to have ever bullied Izuku. There is no reason for bullying. I don’t care if he thought that Izuku was looking down on him, that is not how you treat other people. I don’t care what anyone says. There. Is. Never. A. Reason. For. Bullying.

I do like the part of Endeavor’s arc currently with Dabi/Touya revealing the truth to the world and I do really hope that there are some really good consequences for Endeavor as a result of this. I just wish that it could’ve been framed differently. We get Endeavor’s point of view where he’s like “oh I’m sad my family is torn apart :(” and I feel like Natsu’s reactions are framed as bad (at least that’s what I got from the context) when I feel like they are legit and should be respected. I think that like Bakugou until Endeavor truly has real consequences (possibly losing his spot amongst other things) and he shows he truly changes I won’t be truly content with the arc but again that’s just me.

Oh god yes! Some bakustans really do need to take a chill pill

Definitely!! There are some good fans across the board regardless of the characters they do or don’t like and on the flip side there are some bad fans cross the board too. Unfortunately, we see a lot of the toxic bakustans because they are the vocal minority that we see. The toxic stans definitely need to stop blaming Izuku for trying to be kind and friendly to Bakugou. It definitely shows their mindset that they view someone being a good person as bad.... JUSTICE FOR IZUKU 2KFOREVER

For sure! Bakugou is lucky that Izuku for the most part doesn’t hold a grudge and views him as one of his closest friends.

Honestly? You’re right. I don’t really think Bakugou’s quirk is all that cool. Like congrats you can make explosions? But we have Tokoyami that has a living shadow inside him? Or Uraraka and her antigravity quirk? Or Momo and her ability TO FUCKING CREATE SHIT OUT OF HER BODY?!?!?!

I completely agree! Shouto should’ve won. Not only would it have been much more satisfying, but it would also’ve been really good for Bakugou’s character development.

Bakugou’s mom does act a bit tsundere. I’ve seen it with many parents. Discipline is difficult especially in that situation so really it’s just telling him to stop being a prick. Honestly considering how awful Bakugou is to everyone including his parents, it’s a surprise that his parents are actually pretty decent. Bakugou reminds me of that teenage boy that doesn’t get what he wants and threatens his parents even if they’re just being strict and telling him to be respectful or something.

Ugh!! I think so too unfortunately. Izuocha is a great platonic ship but it really does feel shoehorned in. It’s like “Oh she’s the first girl he’s ever talked to so obviously they’re in love.” Like there are so many other characters that could work much better. If I’m being honest I do like tododeku the most because that was the first ship that I saw going into the fandom and the ship that actually got me interested in BNHA. But I can totally see Aoyama and Izuku. That would actually be really cute! Especially with how Aoyama checks on Izuku and tries to give him cheese and talk to him about his quirk. (please don’t apologize for liking ships) (also I may have to check out Aoyama and Izuku whatever their ship name is because the multishipper in me might be coming out lol thanks)

Why yes you can!!!! Also congrats on making my whole day by being my first request!!! Summary: After putting herself in harm’s way to save Natsu, Lucy wakes up to an earful from the irate dragon slayer.

What Were You Thinking?

Lucy clutched her arm, watching as Natsu fought a group of bandits on his own. Even though they weren’t as strong as him, their sheer numbers alone were giving him trouble. It didn’t help that the enemy was smart enough to send their troops in waves so that one group would always follow another after being defeated.

She gnawed on her lower lip. At this rate, he was going to run out of energy. There wasn’t any fire around for him to consume, and it wasn’t like she could make any herself. With his devastating flames that could lay waste to anything it came in contact with, she was surprised that the enemies kept challenging him. They should’ve been running with their tails between their legs!

Staggering to her feet, Lucy wobbled towards Natsu in an attempt to help. She had already run out of magical power, barely even able to walk. Still, she couldn’t just sit back and watch as Natsu carried the burden on his shoulders. She couldn’t stand to see him get hurt.

Just as she was approaching Natsu, she saw one of the bandits brandish a dagger. He used his magic to camouflage into the background, allowing him to sneak towards Natsu. The dragon slayer could’ve easily been able to smell him coming, but while dealing with everyone coming at him all at once, there was no way he was going to be able to dodge.

Mustering whatever energy Lucy had left, she made a mad dash towards the bandit, throwing herself in harm’s way. She jumped between him and Natsu, wincing as the blade pierced her side. A pained cry slipped past her lips as the attacker withdrew his blade, crimson blood splattering against the pavement. Falling, the girl pressed her hand over the wound to stop the bleeding. Tears pricked her eyes as it stung.

“Lucy!” Natsu’s voice called out.

With blurry vision, she looked up to find Natsu’s body engulfed in flames. He fought with more tenacity, bringing the villains to their knees. As her eyes began to droop closed, she heard Gray and Erza shouting as they ran up to them.

Then she lost consciousness.

As sunlight filtered through the cracks of her curtains, Lucy’s eyes finally fluttered open. Groaning, she pressed a hand to her throbbing head. She moved to sit up, only to hiss in pain as she had reopened her wound.

“Lay down,” a low voice demanded. She could recognize that voice anywhere.

Looking to her bedside, Lucy found Natsu sitting in one of the kitchen chairs he pulled up to the bed. Happy was dozing away in his lap.

“Natsu!” the girl exclaimed, a bright grin bubbling up to her lips. “You’re safe! Thank goodness!”

“Yeah, I’m safe alright,” Natsu replied, his brows furrowing as the corners of his lips tugged downwards into a disapproving frown. “What the hell were you thinking, Lucy?”

“Huh?”

“Why the hell did you take the hit?”

Lucy tilted her head to the side, confused. Was he really mad at her? “I did it to save you!”

“I didn’t ask you to do that!” Natsu sneered, his voice sharp enough to startle Happy awake.

Happy glanced between the two. Their brows were slanted in anger, and after having to hear Natsu complain for the past day, he knew just what they were arguing about. It was going to get ugly. Without saying a word, the exceed flew straight out the window before he could get caught in the crossfire.

Now that Happy was gone, Lucy turned her attention back to Natsu.

“I know that you didn’t ask me to, but it doesn’t change the fact that I had to do it,” Lucy said, crossing her arms over her chest.

“What makes you think you had to do that?” Natsu asked, bewildered by her answer.

“Because you were too busy fighting! You wouldn’t have noticed! If I didn’t step in, he would’ve stabbed you, probably in a worse spot than he stabbed me!”

Natsu shot up from his seat, knocking the chair back. “None of that matters, Lucy!”

“What do you mean it doesn’t matter!? You could have died!”

“You could have died!” Natsu shouted, loud enough to make Lucy flinch. His face was etched with fury as he continued, “What if you miscalculated your jump and he ended up stabbing one of your vital organs? Did you even calculate your jump? What if he stabbed you in the heart, Lucy? You’d be dead!”

Natsu panted, blinking back tears as he stared at the blonde in front of him. Her head hung low as she fisted the blankets.

“I just wanted to save you for once,” she mumbled, hot tears sliding down her cheeks.

“What?”

She whirled a tearful gaze onto him. “I wanted to save you, okay? Do you know how many times you’ve saved me? You’re such a hypocrite, you know that? Anytime there’s something dangerous, you’re always putting yourself in front of me! Or when someone is trying to hurt me, you fight them and get hurt instead!”

“Lucy-!”

“No, don’t! Did you ever stop to think that maybe I don’t want to see you get hurt? You’re my partner, my best friend, and so much more. You’re everything to me, Natsu, and that’s why I jumped in the way and that’s why I’d do it again in a heartbeat if I needed to!”

Natsu’s fists trembled at his sides. “I don’t want you doin’ that for me, Lucy!”

“And why the hell not?” she shot back, eyes shining with defiance.

“Because I don’t want to see you get hurt again!” he shouted. His shoulders rose each time he panted. The dam that kept his tears at bay finally broke. Gritting his teeth, he ignored the tears cascading down his cheeks.

Lucy’s brows shot up. “Again? What do you mean?”

Natsu’s voice shook as he answered, “Th-That time when we were in Crocus, and Rogue tried to kill you. He did kill you.”

Her lips immediately curled into a frown. That was a day she’d never forget. “Natsu, he didn’t-!”

“I tried to catch the knife or at least jump in the way, but I… I wasn’t fast enough, Lucy. Next thing I saw was your blood. I lost you right in front of my eyes because your future-self jumped in front of the way. I never wanted to see anything like that again, but here we are… And this time it’s my fault.”

Lucy choked back a sob as she shook her head. “That’s not true, Natsu. It isn’t your fault at all.” Patting the bed, she gestured for him to take a seat beside her. Once he did, she took his hands in her own, squeezing them tightly. “Let’s recount all of the times you saved me, shall we?”

“Lucy-”

“No, come on. Let’s do it. There was that time when we first met, and you saved me from Bora. Then there was that time on Galuna Island when Sherry dropped acid over the village. There was the time with Phantom Lord. Oh, and we can’t forget all of the times on Tenrou, the battle with Tartarus, the war against Alvarez, and every other moment in between. You may not have been able to save my future-self, but you’ve saved me countless of times.”

Natsu wiped his sleeve over his eyes. “It’s not good enough. I should’ve saved you back then, too.”

“You did. By defeating Rogue, you gave me my future back. Because of you, I’ve been able to share so many memories with you, Happy, and everyone else.” She squeezed his hands, giving him a wet smile. “I will always be grateful for that, which is why I really wanted to return the favor and save you for once.”

Natsu playfully scoffed. “For once? Luce, you’re savin’ our asses all the time. Too many times to even count. Seriously, you’re strong as hell.”

Warmth crept up to the girl’s cheeks, her smile deepening. “So, are we okay now?”

He slung an arm around her shoulder. “Yeah, we’re okay. Sorry about yellin’ at you.”

“It’s okay. I’m sorry for reminding you of what happened back at Crocus. Though, I can’t say that I won’t jump in the way to save you again. I’ll always try to save you, and I’m sure you’ll do the same for me.”

“‘Course I will. Now, c'mon. We should probably let Happy know we didn’t kill each other.”

Lucy blinked once, then twice. “Umm, in case you’ve forgotten, I can’t exactly leave bed.”

Natsu chuckled. “Oh, right. I forgot. Ehh, he’ll come back to check on us eventually. In the meantime, you wanna play some games? I can bring them to the bed.”

“Sure. But first…” Lucy leaned forward, pressing her lips against his in a chaste kiss. Pulling away, she smiled at him. “I love you, Natsu.”

He mirrored her expression. “I love you too, Luce. Now c'mon. It’s time I finally kick your ass at this game.”

Sting’s entire life changed when he was eleven years old and his best friend Rogue told a secret that he’d promised to keep. Taken away from the father who abused him and the best friend who’d tried to save him, Sting tried to start a new life with his uncle. But the trauma wasn’t easy to escape, and eventually Sting turned to drinking to forget the things that hurt.

“I think I’m gonna throw up.”

Sting picks at a stray thread in his white gloves, swallowing hard to keep the nausea at bay. Rogue takes them from him gently, tugging at the string until it breaks and then holding them out to slip them onto Sting’s hands.

“You’re not going to throw up,” he reassures Sting. “You’re going to be fine.”

Sting chews his lip, staring down at where Rogue is now gripping his gloved hands. “I don’t…” He sighs.

“Don’t what?”

“Feel like I… fit,” Sting admits quietly, looking up at the twelve other people from his class who are also graduating the academy today. They’re about to cross the stage, and Sting’s anxiety is hitting him in a way that it hasn’t since the first time he stood up in an AA meeting and admitted he was an alcoholic.

“Why don’t you fit?” Rogue asks, touching Sting’s cheek and pulling his gaze back to soft, brown eyes.

Sting sighs, tipping his head into Rogue’s touch. “They’re all good,” he says, then shakes his head because that’s not what he means. “I mean—they’re not like me. They’re good people, they’ve always been, and I’m… I am now, but I wasn’t always, and I just—”

“Sting.” Rogue leans in and kisses his forehead. “You’ve always been a good person. Nothing could change that.”

Sting swallows hard and wraps his arms around Rogue’s waist, pressing his forehead to Rogue’s shoulder and holding him close. He wants to agree with Rogue, but it’s hard. Some days he knows it’s true, and other days all he can think about is how he’s done so many awful things.

“You’re my favorite person,” Rogue says, voice muffled as he presses his face into Sting’s unruly curls. “You always have been.” Then he pulls back and squeezes Sting’s arms. “Go on,” he says, nodding toward the edge of the stage where everyone else is lined up. “You can do it.”

Sting doesn’t remember most of the ceremony – it’s a blur of people talking and clapping and lights flashing as pictures are taken. By the time he finally finds Natsu, Rogue and Uncle Wes afterward, he’s exhausted, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

��I’m so proud of you,” Uncle Wes says, hugging Sting tight. “You’ve come so far.”

Sting laughs wetly, rubbing his face with a gloved hand. “Thank you,” he says, and the smile Uncle Wes gives him makes him feel so, so loved.

“You did great,” Natsu says, holding out his arms and pulling Sting into a tight embrace. His voice goes softer as he adds, “I knew you could do it.”

They go out for dinner afterward, and it takes Sting a second to realize that it’s the same restaurant that Uncle Wes took him to on his twelfth birthday. For some reason it makes him want to cry. Then Uncle Wes tells the waitress why they’re celebrating, and the tears turn to embarrassment as Sting’s face goes red and he tries to hide in Rogue’s shoulder.

“Uncle Wes,” he groans when the waitress slips him a piece of cake after dinner – the same kind they give for free on kid’s birthdays. “I don’t need—”

“Sting,” Natsu says, kicking his ankle under the table. “You deserve this. Now shut up and eat your cake.”

Natsu stays with them for a few days after the ceremony. The first time Natsu and Rogue had met, Sting had been so nervous that he’d nearly thrown up. But Natsu had hugged Rogue without a second thought, and now they’re all friends, sitting on the couch and laughing and throwing popcorn at each other like they’ve known each other forever.

“I’m so happy for you,” Natsu says when he finally has to leave. He squeezes Sting’s hands, then pulls him into a hug. They stand like that for a while, and when Sting finally pulls back, he realizes Natsu is crying.

“What’s wrong?” Sting asks quickly, but Natsu shakes his head.

“No, ‘s fine,” he insists, wiping his face with his sleeve. “’m just all…” He trails off and Sting’s hit with a realization.

“You haven’t found him,” he says gently. In all the excitement of graduating, he’d forgotten about Natsu’s search for Ellie. Natsu sighs, tipping his head up and trying to catch his breath.

“No,” he says eventually. “I haven’t.”

“I’m sorry.” Sting sighs. “Maybe…. When I start working, maybe I can help.”

Natsu nods, but Sting can see the defeat in his eyes, and he wishes desperately that there was something he could do.

Sting starts work at his dad’s old precinct a week later, and when it finally comes time to head out the door for his first shift, the anxiety and doubt he’s been working so hard to avoid hit him like a punch to the chest. He sits down hard on the couch, leaning forward on his arms and staring at the police cap he’s holding in both hands. All he can think about is how one just like this used to hang on the hook by the front door when he was little.

“What if I’m just like him?”

“Sting.” Rogue crouches down in front of him, tipping his chin up until they’re looking at each other. “You can do this.”

“But what if I can’t?” Sting says, shaking his head and gripping the cap tighter. “What if something bad happens and I wanna drink again?”

“You’ve been sober for three years,” Rogue says, running his thumb across Sting’s cheek. “I can’t promise that you won’t want to, but if you do… you know how to handle it. You’ll call your sponsor, you’ll go to a meeting, you’ll see your therapist.”

Sting nods uncertainly, bouncing his knee. “I don’t want to be like him,” he says, rubbing his face. “I never wanted to be him and then I was, I fucked up so badly and did so much stupid shit, and now—how can I be a cop?”

“Because you’ve learned from those mistakes,” Rogue replies. He moves up onto the couch next to Sting, running his fingers through Sting’s hair. “You’re a good person, love. You have so much compassion and such a big heart. You are nothing like your father.”

Sting tries to take deep breaths, but they get stuck in his chest, so he focuses on the crease of his pants and the shine of the shoes that peek out from under the hem.

“I’m scared,” he says, turning to look at Rogue.

“I know,” Rogue says, “and that’s what makes you different. You want to be better.” He kisses Sting’s forehead. “You can be scared and still go on.”

Sting exhales, nudging Rogue’s nose and kissing him. He lets the press of their lips pull the tension from him and ground him to the present.

“You’re going to do so much good,” Rogue says, wiping tears from Sting’s cheeks as he pulls back. “The world needs more people like you.”

Sting laughs through the tears. “More people like you,” he replies, but Rogue shakes his head.

“It’s easy to make good choices when you’ve never been forced into bad ones,” Rogue says. “It’s much harder to choose the right thing when everything in your life has hurt you. You’ve been through so much. The world has hurt you over and over, but every day you choose to be brave, and I’m so, so proud of you.”

Rogue wraps his arms around Sting, pulling him close and stroking his hair as he cries. The tears start off quiet, but quickly turn to loud, choking sobs that shake Sting’s entire body. Sting knows that it used to scare Rogue how hard he cried, but Rogue knows now that he needs it.

There’s a loud mrowl and a dip on the couch as Lector hops up next to Sting, headbutting him and crawling onto his lap. Sting laughs, wiping at his face and scratching behind Lector’s ears.

“Thank you,” Sting says to Rogue as Lector arches into the touch, flicking his tail against Sting’s chest. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Rogue says, kissing Sting’s nose and straightening his jacket. “And I know you’re going to be great.”

The precinct is exactly like Sting remembers it. There’s lots of new faces, but some that used to come around on weekends and play poker with his dad. He’s pretty sure they haven’t bought a new coffee machine over the past ten years, and the desks are still arranged in the same order.

Sting scans the nameplates as he walks through the room. He’s not supposed to meet the captain in a couple of hours, but he has something to do before he officially starts to work here.

Kelly’s desk is in the exact same place as it was before. Stacks of paper and file folders are piled haphazardly around the computer, and three cups of cold coffee sit next to the phone. Kelly is sitting in her chair, squinting at her computer and grumbling under her breath.

“Sergeant now, huh?” Sting says, reaching out and tapping the nameplate on her desk. “Congrats.”

Kelly looks up at him, a frown creasing her face. Her hair is gray around the temples now, but she still has the same eyes.

“Are you the new officer?” she asks, pushing back from the desk and standing up. “You’re here a bit early.” She offers her hand and he shakes it, trying to keep himself from trembling.

“Yeah,” he says, nodding. “I, um…”

He’s overwhelmed with emotion, suddenly – it’s like he’s eleven again, curled up against her in his bedroom closet, wishing he were anywhere else.

“You look familiar,” Kelly says, tipping her head to the side as she studies him. “Do I know you from somewhere?”

Sting nods, swallowing down the anxiety. “Yeah,” he says. “I, uh… I used to be Abbey.”

Kelly’s eyes widen as she searches his face, a mix of hope and disbelief in her eyes. “Abbey?” she whispers. “Abbey Eucliffe?”

Sting nods, rubbing his sweaty hands on his pants. “It’s Sting, now,” he says. His tongue feels thick in his mouth and he tries not to stutter. Everything he was going to say has disappeared, and all he can think about is sitting on Kelly’s lap in the hospital, crying while she told him that everything was going to be all right. “I know it’s been a long time, but I wanted to tell you.”

“Tell me what?” she asks. The expression on her face is still a mix of amazement and disbelief, and she looks like she wants to hug him.

“That I’m here because of you,” Sting says, forcing himself to keep looking at her. His cheeks are burning but he needs to do this. “I wanted to be…” He blinks, trying not to cry. “You saved my life.”

“Oh, honey,” Kelly says, and this time she does hug him. He can’t help the tears now, and a small part of him realizes that crying on his superior officer’s shoulder on his first day of work probably isn’t the best first impression. A bigger part of him doesn’t care, because he’s finally saying thank you to the person who helped him, even when he didn’t want to be helped.

“I can’t believe you’re here,” she says quietly.

Sting lets out a wet, shaky sigh and pulls back, wiping his face with the back of his hand. “I almost wasn’t,” he admits. He thinks of the tears and anger, the drunken fights and the scars on his arms, then pushes it all away and focuses on his new life instead.

“I’m here now,” he says softly, and lets himself feel proud. “I did it.”

The Color of Sound

I found this while looking for prompts and fell in love with the idea. Hope you enjoy ☺️

Lucy Heartfilia loved to read. Ever since she was a little girl, she would spend day and night in the Heartfilia Mansion library. She read books of romance, adventure, mythology, mystery, but her favorite books to read were memoirs. Specifically, memoirs of Bonded Souls: Two people who would be born with opposite defects and heal once they found each other. She longed for the moment when she would find her own soulmate to complete her, though sometimes she felt it was futile.

She could sense by the way people looked at her that everyone pitied her. She didn’t blame them, though. Most people met their soulmate by age eighteen, and Lucy was already twenty. Not to mention, she was a rare case. Most people were born without a left eye, or a right leg, and waited to meet someone without a right eye, or a left leg. However, Lucy was not missing a part of her body, but a sensation. What could possibly be the opposite of deafness? Lucy knew everyone around her believed her soulmate was dead, and she wondered about that too sometimes.

Nonetheless, there was one factor that didn’t let her hopes die: If her soulmate was dead, she would’ve gotten his defect. Aside from being deaf, there was nothing out of the ordinary with her body or senses. This meant there was a possibility her soulmate was still alive and just as anxious to meet her as she was to meet him. So, she kept hoping and praying that her fateful day would come soon.

“You are going to love this place, Lev. They have the best coffee.” Spoke Lucy in sign language as they approached Fairy Tail Cafe, a new coffee shop that just opened up a little outside of campus.

“I do hear a lot about it. Mira works here, right?” Said Levy, while using sign language.

“Yeah. Lisanna and Elfman too. Their grandpa owns the place.”

The family-owned business was really nice; a cozy little cafe bookstore that always seemed quite busy. Ever since its grand opening, Lucy would spend her afternoons reading books and drinking lattes in the corner.

The two girls sat down on a table after ordering drinks and started catching up. They had been best friends since middle school, but Levy studied in a different university thirty minutes away, which meant the girls couldn’t see each other as often as they’d like.

They had been talking for about an hour when the door opened. Lucy spotted a blue-furred (what?) dog. At first she wondered who would bring a dog in a cafe, until she looked up to see a tall man, about her age, with pink hair and sunglasses. Before she could even process, her stomach started feeling fluttery, and she could start to hear a distant cacophony that seemed to get closer by the second. It was annoying, and the blonde was starting to get a headache. After about thirty seconds, the sounds started dispersing, and her head felt lighter. It was then she realized that she could listen. She could hear the sound of the coffee machine, she could hear the sound of Mira’s voice as she stood behind the counter— She had a really sweet voice, and Lucy couldn’t believe she had never heard it before. She could hear the rustling of sheets as people reading books turned the pages. She could hear the soft pop music playing in the background, even though it was pretty low. She could hear the worried tone on Levy’s voice as she sat closer to Lucy to give her a hug.

“Lucy?” Levy was very confused. She had seen how Lucy suddenly covered her ears with the palms of her hands, and how she had started crying out of nowhere. “Is everything okay? Talk to me.” She spoke in sign language for Lucy.

“Y-yes.” She said hesitantly. “I can hear.” Her voice was a little incomprehensive. There were very few times where she had actually used it, after all. But she had been practicing her speech for about three years now, knowing that the time to meet her soulmate was possibly coming close. She knew how to say a fair amount of sentences, though she didn’t practice conversing with a lot of people, as she was self-conscious about her voice and let very few people hear her.

“You what!?” Levy stood up from her seat so fast the chair fell down, drawing people’s attention, including Mira’s, who looked over to them with concern. “Lucy can hear! She can hear!” She exclaimed in between sobs as Mira rushed to their table.

“She what!? Lucy, congrats! Who is it? Who’s the lucky man?”

But Lucy was too preoccupied looking at the pink haired man, who had taken off his glasses and looked at her with tears in his eyes. She stood up from her seat, walking over to him as he did the same. They stood there, staring at each other, for a while. Turns out the opposite of deafness was blindness, according to the universe. Neither party could believe it. She could listen. He could see. Finally, for the first time in their entire lives, they felt complete.

“Hi.” The guy finally said, with a grin that covered half of his face. Lucy decided she had never seen a more genuine and beautiful smile. “I’m Natsu.”

“Hi.” She beamed back. “I am Lucy.”

Natsu wondered why her speech was so peculiar for a split second, but then remembered how her friends were yelling about her being able to hear, so he guessed her defect was being deaf.

“Do you… want to get out of here?” He said, signaling to the door. “We can talk and get to know each other.” He talked while making gestures with his hands, hoping she understood.

Lucy nodded with a smile. She got back to her table to gather her things and say goodbye to her friends, who were smirking despite the tears in their eyes.

“You know sign language?” Asked Lucy while sitting next to Natsu on the bench in the park.

“I know a little bit. Do you understand people when they speak? Or would it be easier if I used gestures?” Natsu asked kindly, still trying his best to make comprehensive hand gestures.

“I read English. I understand a lot, but some things are confusing.”

Natsu nodded, and they stayed silent for a couple seconds until he had an idea.

“I know! What if I help you with your speech and you help me with different colors? I always wanted to know what they looked like.” He stated sheepishly.

“Yellow.” Said Lucy as she pointed to one of the throw pillows on her couch. After their fateful encounter, they had agreed on meeting the next day to start “coaching” each other. Lucy invited Natsu to her place for lunch and he had spent the entire afternoon teaching her new words and their pronunciation. Truth be told, he was learning words that he didn’t even know existed too.

After hours, they moved on to teach Natsu the different names for colors. He was fascinated to find out what the colors that he always heard people mention actually looked like. So far, he believed his favorite was red; it was vibrant, and never failed to catch his attention whenever he had seen it on his 28 hours of having vision.

“Wait, that’s the color of your hair.”

“Yeah! Oh, and pink.” She said as she pointed to his hair. “My favorite color.”

He always wondered what he looked like. His friends and family often described him and never forgot to tease him for his unusual hair color. He knew most people had brown, black, blonde, or red hair, so he didn’t know how to feel about his. When he saw himself on a mirror for the first time yesterday, he didn’t really like his hair color. But, suddenly, he didn’t think it was that bad anymore.

They spent hours every day teaching each other and hanging out, both really enjoying each other’s presence. They found out their favorite things to do were to watch television and walk around the lake, as these were experiences that they had never been able to enjoy to the fullest until now.

After a month of hanging out almost every single day, they decided to start dating. Even though they knew they were meant to be together, they wanted to take things slow and really get to know each other before making things official.

They couldn’t be happier. Lucy loved Natsu’s goofiness and happy-go-lucky personality. She also loved Happy, his guide dog, who really liked to mess with her and sometimes got on her nerves, but they shared a strong bond despite everything.

Natsu loved Lucy. There was no other way to describe it. In the short amount of time he had gotten to spend with her, he discovered how amazing she was. She was beautiful, and smart, and cheerful, and kind. He often wondered what he had done to deserve such a perfect soulmate, but he wasn’t complaining.

After a year of dating, Natsu had finally decided to pop the question.

“You ready, man?” Asked Gray, Natsu’s best friend… and worst enemy.

“As ready as I’ll ever be, I guess.”

“You know she’s gonna say yes! What are you so worried about?”

“I don’t know! It’s just all so... nerve-racking. Didn’t you feel that way when you proposed to Juvia?”

“A little bit. But, I guess it was so unplanned I didn’t really have time to be nervous. You know I proposed a week after I met her.”

“Yeah.” Natsu chuckled at the memory. “I remember. I guess getting back your thumb really made you commit.”

“Hey.” Replied Gray with fake solemness. “Imagine living your whole life without a right thumb. It’s not pretty. She knew the struggle.”

Natsu chuckled as he adjusted his tie. The plan was to take Lucy to a fancy restaurant for a romantic, candlelit dinner. After that, he would drive them to their favorite lake where they would lay and stargaze for a while until he decided that it was finally time to propose.

After hours of getting ready, Lucy was finally satisfied with her look. Natsu always did random romantic things like these, but it never ceased to excite her. She wore a red satin v-neck dress with a skater skirt that reached just above her knees, paired with some open-toed silver heels. She was checking herself on the mirror when she heard her phone ring.

“Hello?”

“Hey, Luce! Whatcha doing?”

“Just finished getting ready. Are you on your way?”

“Yeah. I’m just a couple of blocks down. I’ll be there in two—”

Before he could finish the sentence, Lucy heard the sound of screeching tires and a loud, lingering beep noise.

“Natsu? Natsu!?” The call had disconnected, she knew that, but in her moment of panic she did not care for logic. “Please answer me, Natsu!” She sobbed into the phone fruitlessly.

After a while, she heard the sound of sirens passing by, but the noise started sounding farther and farther away as her vision got blurrier by the second, until all sound was gone, and all she could see were the shadows of things that were once full of color.

The world had turned dark once again.

Blog 04: Google Form

Ever watched Astro Boy, Dragon Ball, Slam Dunk, Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon?

If YES, then Congrats! You are a certified Senior Otaku!

If NO, but is familiar with Demon Slayer, Attack On Titan and Tokyo Ghoul, well you are way too far from the originals.

Anime in today’s generation is CLEARLY and MOSTLY not for children under 10 years old unlike the anime showed in the main media before. But what makes anime so popular in this GEN X Era? Why do people love watching Anime?

I have conducted a survey using Google Form for Zamboanguenos aged 17 to 26 years old about their “Top 5 Anime” and their results vary from one another. 30 people who responded on the survey were people I already know from Facebook who are at the same time, die-hard anime fans.I simply chatted and asked them if they would like to participate with the survey. As they agreed, I shared the link to my survey.

They even placed an emphasis that they were challenged to answer the survey because there are way too much Anime series that they want to include. Most respondents were 21 years old who spend their free days fangirling/fanboying over japanese cartoons. The youngest was 17, nicknamed “Micky” while the oldest was 26, “JR”.

On the question; “Why do you like watching Anime?” Most of the respondents answered; “Anime is a stress reliever”, “It takes me away from reality”, “It’s way more better than real life people.”

This made me think that these respondents are just too tired on the demands of reality that Anime became an outlet for them to release and forget their problems. *shrugs*

So! What are the TOP 5 Anime gathered from them?

Starting from the 5th list, we have:

TOP 5: ATTACK ON TITAN / SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN

This anime series is one of the BEST series and popular in today’s fandom. The story is all about the soldiers or known as “Survery Corps” defending their city (with 3 walls) from the breach of giant humans called “Titans”. These so-called titans feast on every citizen that they see wandering around them. However, plot twist says that these titans are not titans of their own. They are actually, humans that transforms themselves into titans.... Want to know more? READ THE MANGA!

TOP 4: HAIKYUU!

It is a story about Shoyo Hinata, an aspiring volleyball player. Though inexperienced, Hinata is athletic and has an impressive vertical jump; he joins his school's volleyball club – only to find he is its sole member, forcing him to spend the next two years trying to convince other students to help him practice. A story of intense game and motivation.

4B. Another anime aligned with TOP 4 is KUROSHITSUJI / BLACK BUTLER

Personally one of my favorite anime, It is a story about a young earl named Ciel and his deal with the devil named Sebastian. Sebastian does everything and anything that Ciel wants and when the contract ends, he is intended to have Ciel’s soul towards the dark hallways of the abyss. An interesting and very cool story.

TOP 3: Seems like we have a problem.. We have 4 anime series that has the same amount of votes for the TOP 3 anime.....

3A. ONE PUNCH MAN

A quite interesting story of a superhero named “SAITAMA” who is overly, very, monstrously powerful because he can literally wipe out a whole city in one punch. The dilemma is, he’s trying to look for a worthy opponent that could out-strength his abilities. Will that be you?

3B. FAIRY TAIL

The story follows the adventures of Natsu Dragneel, a member of the popular wizard guil “Fairy Tail”, as he searches the fictional world of Earth-land for the dragon Igneel. It was most popular when I was in Junior High School. Fairy Tail Merch was everywhere!

3C. FOOD WARS; SHOKUGEKI NO SOMA!

Soma Yukihira, aspires to become a full-time chef in his father Joichiro's family restaurant "Restaurant Yukihira" and surpass his father's culinary skills, but Joichiro gets a new job that requires him to travel around the world and closes his shop. Joichiro has Soma enroll in Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute, an elite culinary school where students engage in food competitions called shokugeki. If there’s overpower in sports, there’s also in cooking.

3D. FATE SERIES

The story revolves around Shirou Emiya, a hardworking and honest teenager who unwillingly enters a to-the-death tournament called the Fifth Holy Grail War, where combatants fight with magic and Heroes throughout history for a chance to have their wishes granted.

TOP 2: BLACK CLOVER

The series focuses on Asta, a young orphan who was raised from birth after being abandoned at the doorstep of an orphanage in Hage village along with his fellow orphan, Yuno. While everyone is born with the ability to utilize mana in the form of Magical Power, Asta is the only exception. He tries to gain magical power through physical training but turns out that Yuno was born as a prodigy, and has more than enough.

and the most voted anime, my all-time favorite:

TOP 1: NARUTO (all series)

WHO ISN’T FAMILIAR WITH OUR FAVORITE NINJA?! Presenting our TOP 1; NARUTO SHIPPUDDEN SERIES! Naruto Uzumaki is just a young boy who lost everything at a young age including his family. But despite these hardships and doubts from other people, he never gave up training with the help of his senseis and friends until he could finally reach the title of becoming Konoha’s Hokage. Spoiler: He actually achieved it. Lesson? Do not give up on your dreams.

Next Contestant

AN: I received a drabble request from the awesome @dragonfoxroar7 to basically write a one-shot based on the song Next Contestant by Nickleback for our favorite ship, GAJEVY!! I suggest you listen to the song first but if you don’t wanna that’s cool too! ^-^ Please feel free to comment, inbox, request, etc! Thanks for reading!!

The sound of rock music was pouring from the pub as the bass shook the building causing the bright neon sign labeled, ‘Fairy Tail’ to look like it was vibrating. Lines of people stood outside waiting to get in to see one of the most famous local bands, Shadow Gear. And once you were inside, the smell of beer, sweat and food takes over your senses, but that is ignored due to the excited aura of the room.

“Isn’t Levy up next?” Panther Lily asked after finishing his spiked kiwi drink, knocking the dark hardwood bar counter. The bartender nodded his head in acknowledgement, preparing him another.

Gajeel let out a grunt, taking a swig of beer before turning in his seat to face the stage with a look of slight annoyance on his face. “Sometimes I wish she would take a weekend off and not play for her stupid fanboys.” He scoffed eyeing the crowd of guys that stood in front of the stage.

“Is that jealousy I hear?” Lily chuckled earning a glare from his best friend. “And you know as well as me that she does it because she loves it and she’s good.”

Gajeel crossed his arms over his chest leaning his back against the bar, watching Mira take the stage after the previous band left. “Let’s give up once again for ‘The Sick Puppies’, you did wonderful fellas!” The pub cheered, clapping and howling at Mira’s command. “Alright, alright! Settle down.” She giggled into the mic, “Let’s give a big welcome to one of Fairy Tail’s original and beloved….SHADOW GEAR!”

The entire pub erupted into cheers, hoots, whistles and the like as Levy, Jet and Droy took stage. Droy sat down at the drum set, Jet plugged in his guitar and Levy took center stage at the microphone. Her hair was loose and wild, her bangs nearly falling into her eyes and the wavy blue locks cascading to her shoulders. She wore a blank tank top that had a heart shaped piece of iron on it, along with short denim shorts, gray knee high socks and black combat boots.

Gajeel chest puffed out with pride at her outfit, she said she had a surprise for him but this was definitely unexpected. Every piece of clothing she wore, he bought her with the iron heart tank top and combat boots being the newest edition. This may seem trivial to other people but to Gajeel, nothing makes him happier than seeing his woman wearing the things he bought her.

He heard a few men whistle and that made Gajeel’s high come crashing down. Stiffening in his seat, he watched as some of the men look lustfully at his girlfriend.

“Stupid bastards,” Gajeel muttered under his breath as he mentally tore the men to shreds. Lily watched the scene with amusement as he shook his head. No matter what Levy wore to her concerts, Gajeel always had to hold back his jealousy of watching other men eye his girl.

“Hey guys! You ready to have fun tonight?!” Levy spoke into the mic with a beaming smile. The pub cheered once again, with a few guys saying vulgar things like, “only if it’s with you baby,” or “we can have fun all night long.” Levy didn’t hear this over the screams of people but Gajeel did.

He shot up out of his seat ready to tackle the nearest pervert but Lily quickly stopped him. With a tight grip on his shoulder he spoke loud enough for the enrage man to hear him. “Not right now, Levy’s about to go on and she’ll be upset if you got hurt or you hurt someone else.”

They stood there for a few seconds as Levy spoke again into the mic declaring the few songs they were going to perform and when to catch them next. Gajeel took in a deep breath, forcing it out as he sat back down at the bar. He knew from that moment that before he left, he wasn’t leaving the pub without punching someone.

With that declaration, Shadow Gear started to play their first song for the night. The upbeat tempo and Levy’s singing voice eased some of the tension from Gajeel’s shoulders as he gazed at his girlfriend. He couldn’t help the small smirk that curled his lips as he watched Levy bounce up and down the stage singing and the crowd singing along with her. Her hips swaying to the beat and her hair doing whatever it wants to do as she dance, stomp and sing.

Lily and Gajeel would chuckle every time she would nearly trip due to getting overly excited by the music, but that made her even more adorable. Once the last song was done, she was panting into the mic, smiling wide. “Thanks again guys for all your support! We’ll see you again in two weeks and try not to get into too many drinking contests with Cana.”

The pub laughed and laughed harder when a loud, ‘AW COME ON!’ could be heard from the bar. Everyone knew about the legendary Cana, but there were a few overly confident guys that think they can drink her under the table. By the end of the night, there’ll be a pile of passed out men and women near the bar with possible alcohol poisoning.

“Take her warning fellas. Let’s give a big cheer again for our favorite band,” Mira said taking the stage along Shadow Gear. The pub erupted into loud applause, shouts and whistles, causing Gajeel to cover his ears from the deafening roaring. The band bowed before stepping off stage.

Gajeel watched carefully as Levy stepped into the crowd, trying to weed through the men that flocked to her side. They offered her drinks, a dance or to sit with them and like always she would politely decline and push more into the crowd. One guy grabbed Levy’s arm spinning her around to face him, quickly putting his hand on her lower back and grasping her hand as if to start waltzing.

Gajeel let out a strangled growl as he bolted up, pushing his way through the dense crowd not caring who he bumped into. When he finally got close, he could hear Levy demand he let her go and him shushing her with a finger on her lips. With a tap on the stranger’s shoulders, the man didn’t even look behind him before saying, “Fuck off!”

Grabbing the man tightly by the shoulder, Gajeel turned him around and slammed his fist against the man’s nose, knocking him sideways into a group of people. Before Levy realized what was happening, she was being pulled through the mass of people, Gajeels hand tightly grasping hers. The crowd almost parted for him as they could sense anger oozing from the large male.

Once at the bar, Gajeel sat down in his stool, picking up Levy and placing her in his lap. With his arms wrapped tightly around her and his face hiding in the crook of her neck, Lily tried his best not to laugh at the display of obvious annoyance and pouting.

“You guys did very good tonight, Levy.” Lily chuckled as he watched Levy try to turn in Gajeel’s embrace in order to look at her sulking boyfriend. Instead, she settled for leaning more into him and stroking his studded arms.

“Thanks, Lily. I’m glad everyone had fun.”

“Yea! You were wonderful!” A female voice said behind them, causing Levy to squeal and wiggle out of Gajeel’s grasp.

“Lu! You’re here!” She squealed embracing her best friend. “I thought you couldn’t make it because of your book deadline.”

“I still have the deadline, I just chose to watch my best friend instead.” Lucy beamed as the girls squealed some more and hugged.

Natsu stepped away from the excited girls in order to talk to the guys. Tilting his head in Gajeel’s direction with his hands in his jean pockets he asked, “What’s up with metal face?”

Gajeel grunted telling him to shut his mouth. “Gajeel’s jealous and grumpy because a few guys tried to get a little too handsy with Levy. “ Lily added earning a glare from Gajeel.

Natsu nodded his head in approval, “I understand. Lucy gets enough looks as it is but if someone tries to touch her I’ll burn them to a crisp.” He declared smacking his fist into his open palm with a wide grin.

“Not if you burn yourself first, flame brain.”

“Hey! That was an accident iron mouth! And you swore never to talk about it!”

“I swore nothing you idiot!” Gajeel stated, as Lily watched them argue and bump heads. He knew that his friend was only looking for a fight, a way to let out his frustration, so he continued sipping on his beverage.

“Congrats, Levy!” Cana cheered smacking Levy on the butt causing her to yelp and jump at the contact. “You had almost every guy in here eyeing you down!”

“Um, thanks Cana.” Levy smiled sheepishly rubbing her butt with her back facing a pissed off Gajeel.

“Oi! No one’s allowed to touch Levy’s ass but me. Got it!” Gajeel demanded getting off his stool again. Lily took another swig of his drink, muttering, ‘here we go again,’ into his glass.

With a beer in one hand, Cana drunkenly swayed closer to Levy, drapping her arm over the girl’s shoulder. “Aw, come on Gajeel! You gotta learn to share, my friend. Ain’t that right?”

A few agreements could be heard from the men at the bar but they instantly quieted down at the sight of Gajeel’s glare. “Anyone who touches my girl gonna need a new fucking insurance plan.”

Lily sputtered spitting out his drink all over an unsuspecting Natsu, causing Cana to bellow in laughter letting Levy go. She walked over to Gajeel and grabbed his hand, causing his irritated scowl to down cast on her. She knew it wasn’t for her but knew her boyfriend well enough that the next person that pissed him off tonight would most likely would really need a new insurance plan.

“Gajeel, I’m tired let’s go home.” She smiled up at him earning a ‘tch’ in response.

Before they could leave the group, Cana yelled suggestively, “I suggest you use some of that frustration to your benefit once you get home!” Gajeel tried his best to ignore her as they weed their way to the door, but failed miserably at her next comment. “And I mean use your penis!”

“CANA!” Levy yelled back at her in embarrassment as her face flushed. Gajeel growled causing her to face him again. “Stupid alcoholic!” He stated, lifting Levy up and placing her over his shoulders. “But, she’s got a point, Gihee.” He said groping his girlfriend’s butt as he quickly made his way out of the pub and to his car.

When Natsu woke the next morning he felt an odd sense of calm. Slithers of light fell through the parted curtains, illuminating Gray's bare shoulders. Gray's bare shoulders…Gray? Natsu felt his breath catch in his throat as he remembered the night before. Gray had needed him, and for what felt like the first time in a while, he had been there for him and able to help. He felt a blush creep up his neck and onto his cheeks as he realised the conclusion he'd come to while lying next to Gray that night. Natsu knew Gray felt the same but there was so much history between them, and so much set in place for their future – both good and bad – Natsu wondered if this was a good idea at all. He didn't have much more time to dwell on his dilemma though, as Gray rolled over to face Natsu, blinking slowly to wake himself up.

"Natsu?" His voice was barely a whisper, but it wasn't long before he remembered what he'd asked his friend to do the night before. No wonder I slept well. "Th- thank you." He offered Natsu a lopsided smile.

"Morning Snowflake." The two words were out of his mouth before Natsu even had time to think. He wasn't sure what made him say it in the first place. Yet now, in this moment, they didn't feel wrong, it was as if he'd been waking up next to Gray for weeks. It wasn't like them sharing a bed was anything out of the ordinary, Natsu knew that, but something felt different now. Natsu liked it.

"Morning." Gray smiled. The nickname didn't sound so strange to him now. That first time he'd heard it in the hospital he'd been already so confused it had almost annoyed him. It had made Gray ache for a time he didn't even know existed. Hearing it now, lying in bed next to Natsu, it was almost the best thing he'd heard in days.

Natsu rolled over to rest on his back. "Are you going training with Lyon today?"

"Uh huh."

"We better get going then, right? It's already nine o'clock."

Gray chuckled, "You have a point. Though you don't need to go anywhere."

"True." Natsu chuckled, "I'll walk over with you anyway."

With some degree of difficulty on account of his bandages Gray rolled back over to the other side of the bed. This, because of his friend's pride, Natsu made a conscious effort to ignore. It wasn't long though before Gray was out of bed and dressed. Natsu joined him in the kitchen a little while later to find Gray making coffee. A messy, hand written note sitting on the bench told them that Happy had already headed over to the guild.

"Coffee?"

"No thanks." Natsu grinned, "Coffee doesn't seem to work well with me at all. My fire gets all messy."

Noted. "Fair enough." Gray sat at the kitchen bench. He studied Natsu over the rim of his coffee mug, unable to keep the fondness from his gaze. They sat in companionable silence for a while longer before Gray spoke again. "I wanted to thank you, Natsu, for last night… I just, I probably had the best sleep I'd had in a while."

Natsu smiled. "You don't need to thank me. Honestly Gray, I had the best night sleep too."

"Yeah, cause I wasn't waking you up." Gray chuckled.

"No need to put it like that," Natsu tried to counter Gray's comment but the look his friend gave him was enough to make him laugh too. "I did want to ask you though, was it you who got me back to the couch the past couple of nights? I just don't remember going back myself."

"Huh?" Gray frowned, "Back to… Oh, of course it was me dumbass! Who else would it have been?"

"But you- You're not that strong right now…"

"I am going to pretend you didn't just say that to me." A grin broke the look of mock offence on Gray's face as he glanced at Natsu next to him.

Natsu snorted.

"Seriously though, Natsu, I'm stronger than you think. It's just my mind which is still a complete mess."

"Fine, fine!" Natsu raised his hands in defeat. He paused for a moment before speaking again. When he did so, though, Natsu wasn't entirely sure what had made him say it. "You really are amazing though, surviving all that. You're doing so well, I-" Natsu faltered, not entirely sure how to finish.

"You've changed your tone."

"I'm serious, Gray, I was so scared of losing you that when you first disappeared, I drove myself mad looking. Then when we found you, there was so little I could do. I just- I'm glad I can help you now."

"Oh Natsu," Gray bumped his shoulder gently to his. "You've done more than you can ever imagine. You are the reason I managed to stay alive, I know now that it was you. Don't ever think you haven't done anything for me. It was you who kept me alive."

"Then, I need to tell you something Gray. Back then, I think I did know why they had taken you, it had just been so long that I thought everything to do with E.N.D. was over now, all of that. So for you to disappear so suddenly I didn't make the connection, I thought you'd been taken because of my failure to stop it happening, not because of something I was. In that moment then, I thought it was only guilt which had made me so angry. Now though, I know it wasn't just guilt, I was scared. Scared that I had just lost the person I cared about the most."

Natsu slipped down from the seat at the bench, and without realising, he began to pace. Gray watched him carefully, not entirely sure how to react.

"You, Gray, you are the only person I have ever felt this way about, but when it mattered, to you, to both of us, I was blind. I realise it now, just how long it must have been for you. Galuna Island, that wall of ice you put between me and Racer, what you did for me during the fight with Mard Geer, and everything else in between… You loved me from the beginning didn't you?" Natsu stopped mid pace. "I was so oblivious to your feelings I let you slip through my fingers… You almost died to protect me then, and I feel this isn't the first time. I have been so stupid, Gray. I'm sorry."

"But you-" Gray stared at Natsu, mouth slightly parted, eyes wide. Though his true memories were still not back, he could remember all of what Natsu referred to, if not slightly altered. "You ran. When I told you how I thought He had felt for you, how I felt, you ran."

"Of course I did." Natsu replied quietly, guilt twisting his stomach. "When have I not?"

Gray stood from his chair, walking over so he stood opposite Natsu. "You're here now, Natsu, that's what matters."

"Gray I-" Natsu's breath caught in his throat, he held his friends dark blue gaze, his heart beating somewhere in his throat.

"I know."

With a nervous smile Gray gently pulled Natsu closer to him. He paused, glancing down at Natsu's lips, as if asking for permission. In answer, Natsu closed the gap between them, pressing his lips to Gray's in a tentative kiss. Once Gray knew for sure that this was what Natsu wanted, he deepened the kiss, pulling Natsu closer. As they finally broke apart, Gray couldn't help but smile. He pressed his forehead to Natsu's, letting the hand which had rested on Natsu's cheek drop to clasp his hand.

"It really is about time we left, Lyon will be getting impatient."

Gray chuckled in response, "He can wait, patience would improve his character greatly." With a small shrug, he did what Natsu said anyway. With a slight reluctance Gray lead the way out of his apartment. He couldn't help the warm feeling in his chest as Natsu kept his hand in his as they walked towards the guild.

As they set foot in the guild hall a scream of delight shook Gray and Natsu from their happy daze. They both jumped in shock before instinctively trying to stand protectively in front of the other, resulting in Natsu shouldering Gray while the latter managed to trip over Natsu's feet. They ended up tumbling to the ground, limbs tangled.

All the while Erza was almost doubled over with laughter, Lucy, and Cana joining her as they gazed on Natsu and Gray on the floor.

"The hell!?" Natsu spluttered. He still sat on the ground, his fingers – somehow – still locked with Gray's.

"Finally!"

"How long has it been, do you think Cana?"

"Ten years at least." Cana grinned at Erza, "cough up!"

"You bet on us?" Gray frowned.

"Are you even surprised?" Loke stepped forward having overheard the commotion. "Good to see you two have finally got there." He offered Gray a hand up, then Natsu.

Lucy looked like she was almost in tears she was so happy. "I can't believe it. Now of all times too."

"What did you expect?" Erza looked smug, "They've been sharing an apartment for a week, and according to Happy, Natsu slept in Gray's room last night."

Happy looked sheepish as he flew over to the group huddled in the doorway of the guild.

"We don't mind, Happy," Gray smiled, "it was going to get out anyway with these three on the loose."

Lyon wandered over, his gaze rested on where his adoptive brother's hand was clasped in Natsu's before he glanced back up. "You're late." There was a beat of silence before his pursed lips spread into a wide grin and he clapped Gray on the shoulder. "Congrats mate, it's about time!"

Gray couldn't help the blush which had begun to creep up his neck. "We better get going huh?"

"Yeah," Lyon replied, "I'd feel guilty about snatching you away but every minute counts at this point."

"I'll see you later, okay?" Gray pressed a tender kiss on Natsu's lips, smiled warmly, then followed Lyon out of the guild hall.

Natsu was left it somewhat of a daze as Gray left the room, the door clunking shut behind him. Lucy steered him into a seat. They waited until Mira had placed a mug of hot chocolate in front of him before everyone started talking at once.

"Since when!?"

"You slept in his bed last night!"

"I can't believe it!"

"How did it happen?"

"Did you ask him?"

Natsu let the questions flow over his head as he took a long drink from the hot chocolate in front of him. I kissed Gray. He kissed me. A smile crept its way onto Natsu's lips as he remembered the feeling of Gray's soft lips on his own.

"Natsu!"

"Huh?"

"Please," Wendy gazed at him intently, "You can't just not tell us anything. That's just plain mean."

Natsu sighed, "fine..." Then with a grin, he recounted the mornings events to an audience much more enthralled than he'd expected them to be.

"I still can't believe it." Lucy repeated for what seemed like the hundredth time.

"I can't believe that you can't believe it." Erza sat back, arms crossed. "I knew this would happen from the beginning."

"I doubt it," Natsu chuckled, "but I'll let it slide." He paused, "If I'm honest though, I can't quite believe it either. Gray. It's always been, Gray, but I just didn't realise it."

"I'm sorry to break up the moment Flame Breath," Gajeel sauntered over from the bar, "but there is something I think we need to bring up with you. It can't wait."

"Oh," Natsu felt like he'd been kicked in the gut, he could hear the concern in Gajeel's tone, "sure…"

"I just think we should be wary. I have a feeling the guild who took Gray might be close, and the closer they are, the closer we are to everything going wrong."

"Don't be so down Gajeel…" Levy trailed off.

"Don't say I didn't warn you, but I did have my fair share of time in a dark guild, and I can tell something's up. Plus I don't trust that Matt guy. Call it a gut feeling."

"He's not wrong." Erza chimed in, "I got a funny feeling when Matt was here last, I just thought it was safer to let him think he still had the upper hand."

"Matt?" Natsu frowned, "You mean, Nurse Matt, Matt who looked after Gray for a year, Matt who came back to check on Gray at the guild? You've got to be kidding me."

"Think about it Natsu," Loke reasoned, "How easy would it be for those responsible for Gray's abduction to monitor him than by posing as staff at a hospital? Then all they'd have to do is follow him back to his home town and wait."

"Wait for what though?"

"For their failsafe that you told us about to play out." Lucy continued, "They don't know we worked it out, so they'll think we're still trying to recover Gray's memories. In that case they'd be thinking that E.N.D. will be dead within the next few days and are waiting to confirm it."

"Ohh, I see." Natsu frowned, "That bastard! Gray is gonna be crushed. He trusted him with so much."

"Gray will be fine, Natsu," Wendy rested a hand on Natsu's, "he's got you now."

"Do you really think this is the best time to strike?" Fae voiced the thoughts of her fellow guild mates.

"We've been planning this for days now." Matt answered with a cocky finality, "Nothing could go wrong."

"Lexer, your brother is right. Fairy Tail have had the time to try and fix Fullbuster the best they can, but if they fix him too much, make him too strong, then we won't be able to take them if our failsafe hasn't already been triggered." Kain folded his arms against his chest, "They've had enough time."

"We'll storm the guild tomorrow." Matt grinned, they won't know what hit them.

"Finally, finally I can avenge my brother." Kain growled. You take my brother from me…Fairy Tail, Zeref, Fullbuster: I'll take one of your own.

Kalafina Club 2017/09/19

Note: Here’s a summary for yesterday’s episode. It was recorded during their special 「Hyakka Ryouran」 launch event at the Tokyo venue. This won’t be a super detailed translation or anything. I guess you could consider it a summary but hey, you know me, my summaries usually tend to be quite detailed XD As always be aware that my listening comprehension sucks so take everything you see here with a pinch of salt.

Day Duty: Keiko

Ahhhhh! This was super gorgeous!!! Everyone is clapping, Wakana says she was super nervous during her solo part and Keiko tells her she did great. Next up is a round of “natsu/summer Janken” and surprise-surprise, Keiko is the winner. Keiko explains that they are doing a public recording during their 「Hyakka Ryouran」 launch event at the Tokyo venue (Sep 10). They are excited to make this episode together with the audience. Keiko explains that this is her first time winning during a public recording, she is very proud she was able to beat Hikaru-senpai XD

Hyakka Ryouran

Keiko says that the other day they officially finished their “9+ONE” tour. Then she corrects herself, saying that it’s actually been a while since their final concert so she shouldn’t be saying “the other day” XD Since they have an audience today she thinks it will be nice to talk about tour impressions together. Keiko invites the members of the audience to aks questions, to state their opinions etc. There’s this one fan who speaks up, Keiko kindly asks him to introduce himself with his “clubname/nickname”. It’s really cute how the girls are trying to say his name correctly. Either way, he says that he has attended a lot of their lives but he particularly enjoyed attending the concerts in Toyama and Kitakyushu since they took place in Hikaru’s and Wakana’s home prefectures. He seems to be a bit shy and stumbles on his words, Wakana thinks that’s super cute. Keiko agrees that their “triumphal return” performances in Toyama and Fukuoka are always the best thing! They always leave a lasting impression and there’s always a special warmth readiating from the audience. Watching the other two during these performances is always a great joy for Keiko. She feels like it is a special present every time the audience comes to see them at their home coming performances. She then asks how it was for Hikaru to perform in her home town. Hikaru says it was amazing how the audience was super loud, it’s always a special moment for her to hold a live in Toyama. They wrap up this section by once again stating that their lives in Fukuoka and Toyama are always awesome.

Next up it’s Hikaru’s turn to talk with a member of the audience.The fan introduces himself and then Hikaru asks him which lives he attended. He pretty much attended all the lives in the Tokyo area (Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa). Hikaru is totally impressed and thanks him for his continuous support. She then wants to know if there was anything that left a lasting impression during all these lives. The fan says he loved their “Samidare Sugita Koro ni” performance and its intro during each and every concert. Then he adds that he really found the stage design in the back very impressive, the one with the huge figures made of fabric from their previous outfits . Hikaru is super happy to hear that, She talks passionately about them, how they represent their outfits from the past nine years, how they are super huge. They didn’t know what the final results would look like and they were actually quite worries whether or not fans would like it. Hikaru was super curious to read the audience’s reactions in the questionnaires. Turns out there was no need to worry, everyone loved those thingies, they turned out real pretty. It’s cute how Keiko says “大丈夫で~す/Daijoubu de~su!” here! They had a ton of fun going through all their past dresses to pic fabric for the stage sets. Then Hikaru goes on to explain how there were prominent colours like black and white of course but surprisingly when it came to their individual outfits, some particular colours kept reappearing. For Wakana it was yellow/green, for Keiko it was red/pink, for Hikaru it was blue/purple. They think it’s interesting how their uniqueness kinda shines through with those different colours but still, the colours end up fitting together nicely. All in all, it makes Hikaru very happy that the fan really liked that aspect of their show. That’s a wrap for this section.

Tombo

After the song they decide to play a special game called 「Aim! Only One」 which is limited to their public recordings. It sounds like they have played it before but I don’t really know since I haven’t really listened to their previous public recording.

One of the girls is supposed to ask a casual question regarding the year/the holidays/etc and whoever gets to answer that questions may talk to the girls in a casual manner about whatever that question was about. Keiko tells Wakana to ask a question.

Unsurprisingly, Wakana starts like she starts every casual conversation => “You know I love sharks.” XD This summer she went to the aquarium about four times so her question to determine a winner for this game is => “Is there anyone who went to the aquarium more than three times this summer?”...There is no one. LOL Fail XD Wakana is all like, “Well, you still have some time left this year to reach this goal!” Change of question => “Is there anyone who went to the aquarium more than twice this summer?” And BANZAI! There is one person! Wakana is excited! Keiko congratulates the woman on being the “Only One!” and then all three girls say it together, “CONGRATS, ONLY ONE!!!”

Seems like the woman is pretty shy and embarrassed. Wa asks her to which aquariums she went. She names three and Wa is like, “Ah, the last one has super cute penguins!!” The fan agrees! Then Wakana talks a little bit about her experiences at the aquariums. How she went to the Shinagawa twice, one time together with Keiko in order to shoot for their fan club event. Then of course she went to the one in Fukuoka which she talked about in one of her previous blog posts. Lastly, she went to the one in Shin Enoshima. But hey, there’s still a lot of time left this year so she will definitely go a few more times to the aquarium. “Let’s all work harder to achieve this goal!” XD Then Wakana realised that she forgot to ask for a name and the fan introduces herself. Wakana thanks her for the little talk, “I hope you will continue to enjoy yourself at the aquarium many more times this year!”

Kantan Katan

Keiko once again says that this is a public recording and they very much enjoyed communincating with their fans during this short time. It feels very precious to spend these special moments together. Even Hikaru got to talk a little ^_^ To finish off, Keiko asks the audience to say their usual “KAISAN” together with them. AND that’s a wrap for this episode. Next week’s episode is gonna be the public recording from their Osaka venue.

CHAPTER 12

Lucy glanced at her hand which was covered in dried and fresh blood. She got herself good this time and decidedly needed her first stop to be the ladies room once inside the guild. She opted for the rarely used back door which was near the bathrooms. She quietly slipped in and entered the woman's room. Each bathroom had an oversized medicine cabinet stocked with the supplies needed to fix up quick wounds. She shrugged off her winter coat trying not to get blood on it and turned to the cabinet. She took out the peroxide tape and gauze. She realized at that moment she was not alone in the bathroom. She stilled and silently inhaled, the scent was an unusual mix. She was not sure who's scent it was since she hadn't made it a point to sniff out every guild member but there was a distinct smell of citrus mixed with a more rancid smell of bile and a strong undertone of something she had no words to describe but intuition told her exactly what it was. 'Someone has a bad case of morning sickness' knowing she had a few minutes to take care of her hand she deftly washed and bandaged the wound. Just as she finished with the last piece of tape the last stall opened and a very green haired and green faced Bisca came out of the stall.

"Hey there Lucy!" she glanced at the fresh bandage "ya alright over there?"

Lucy smiled at Bisca "Ya, I just cut myself." her smile faded slightly "Are you ok?"

"Oh I think I ate something bad this morning it came on so fast!" she gave Lucy a sheepish grin "hopefully this is the last of it!"

Lucy turned facing the green haired beauty full gave her the fullest most warmest smile "I hate to break it to you, but it ain't over."

Bisca had a confused look on her face "Whatcha mean by that?"

Lucy giggled with excitement and with a wink "You may want to take a test and take the Jack out of your Ginger."

Biscas eyes grew wide with knowing but confused excitement "How do you know? I haven't told a soul not if Al."

Pointing to her button nose "Smells can't lie!"

"Since when can you smell something like that?"

"Well, since my senses are linked through this sensory link hullabaloo. I knew his nose was keen but I never knew just how keen it was."

"So you're tellin' me that a Dragon Slayer can smell something like that?" Bisca was a little weary of this new revelation.

"That and SO much more Bisca, they know things about us girls that we barely know ourselves."

Bisca's face reddened a little and her grin turned a little more playful "Oh GOD, poor guys. So tell me, what else have you learned sharing senses with Natsu?"

Lucy's whole body tensed and her joyus demeanor turned more rigid, she didn't want to be rude and run away like her body was screaming to do so she kept it short and sweet "Nothing I didn't already know."

Bisca wanted to press the question further but suddenly another wave of nausea overcame her and she mumbled "Sorry Lucy!" and turned back clumsily into the stall to start round two.

Lucy instantly felt sorry for her "I hope you feel better soon. You should see Porlyusica. I'll leave you be now! CONGRATS" and before Bisca could attempt to reply she gathered her coat and walked out the door to the bar.

The bar was crowded as usual and Lucy did a scan of the room to take stock of who was there. Almost everyone, she was mostly interested in seeing her favorite bluenette but noted that she wasn't there yet, and neither was Gajeel for that matter. 'That's not suspicious' she thought as she noted the usual groups were formed at their usual tables. Gray, Natsu and Happy were sitting eating while flinging insults at each other. Erza was next to them getting visibly annoyed and Juvia just huddled close to Gray as usual. She noted that Lisanna was at the bar alone and Lucy figured the only way for her to get over this is to go apologize to her for ruining their moment last night. She was embarrassed and hurt but she only hurt herself and she had to face this as a fact of life, she had to push through her embarrassment.

"Hey Lisanna, how are you?" Lucy put on the best smile that she could.

"Oh hey Lucy! I am doing great… So Natsu told me about the sensory link, how are you doing?" There was genuine concern in Lisanna's voice and that only made Lucy feel that more badly for how she had reacted that morning. Lisanna was truly a kind hearted woman and was a great fit for Natsu. All the more reason to reinforce her wall hiding her feelings for Natsu.

She let out a half sigh have laugh "It's been ok. The smells and sounds are kind of overwhelming. I think Natsu got the better end of the deal on this one." they both laughed at that statement "Hey so, I just wanted to apologize about last night. I didn't mean to inadvertently interrupt anything."

Lisanna scrunched up her nose completely puzzled by what the Celestial Mage was talking about "Lucy, what-"

"HEY LUCY!" Levy came bounding full of fun and energy from behind the two of them. She was panting a little heavily "Sorry I am late, blame Gajeel! Why don't we go grab that table over there so we can talk!" She grabbed Lucy's hand to guide her to the table.

Lucy glanced over he shoulder "Again, I'm sorry Lisanna - this link should be gone soon hopefully!" and with that she turned toward the direction she was being pulled.

Before Lisanna could question further her sister Mira appeared before her "What is Lucy apologizing to you for?"

"I have no idea. She is weird sometimes. I can see why Natsu likes her so much!" to that both the girls giggled.

Lucy was too bombarded with the sounds of the guild to focus on the comments from the two platinum mages at the bar behind her. She settled down across from Levy she looked down at her hand and fiddled with her bandage. Looking up she noticed that Levy was eyeing her suspiciously.

"What was it this time Lu?" She had a look of gentle compassion on her face. There were only two people in the world that knew her coping mechanisms and Levy was one of them.

"Nothing Lev, really I'm fine now" smiling across at the petite mage, she knew her smile couldn't reach her eyes. This wall was proving a little harder to keep up. 'Maybe it's just his impulsive nature that makes this so hard right now.'

"It's bull Lu and you know it!"

"So, was anyone able to find Meredy?"

"Way to change the subject… but no not yet."

Lucy could only sigh and put her head down on the table. "I can't take this anymore Lev."

"Will you just tell me what happened already?" Levy's voice was now holding a harder edge. Maybe a stricter approach would pry the information out.

"Fine, but let's head to the Library where it a little more quiet."

As she rose from her seat she caught the familiar scent of Natsu and she felt his apprehension, fear and excitement 'that is a very strange mix of emotions' but she shrugged it off. She thought she had enough distance to make a safe getaway, she was teetering on the edge not wishing to look at him or talk to him just yet. When she turned toward the library he was right there in front of her, they were practically nose to nose.

"Hey Luce!" His voice was softer than usual, it was a rarely heard voice that always turned her legs to jelly.

"Hey" she refused to make eye contact with him she felt ashamed in that moment. Ashamed for letting her guard down and then letting pangs of jealousy eat at her.

"I need to talk to you" he had a determined eye that told her she couldn't say no.

A wave of nausea ran through her and in that moment she couldn't tell if it was him or her. She knew he was going to tell her truth about him and Lisanna and she realized she wasn't ready to hear it "I am sorry… I… I didn't mean to interrupt you two last night. I already apologized to her. I…." She glanced up at him and saw tears rolling down his face but he didn't look like he was crying, it didn't even look like he knew they were there. She brought her hand up to her own face and realized it was her that was crying. She panicked and was about to make a break for it, she had to get away.

Natsu instantly knew she was going to flee, he didn't need to be linked with her to see all the signs in her. He glanced down at her hand and grabbed it, all the dots quickly connected. 'She was outside my house earlier, my nose was right, she probably saw me leave with Lisanna. All her sadness that I felt all morning, she was upset about seeing us. That explains the pain in my hand and the emotional void after that. She was trying to shut down. That's what this is about right now, she thinks I am with Lisanna and she is upset about it! Enough a this crap, I know how to fix it!' He reached out toward Lucy's face and made her look at him with his joyful wide grin "You're so dense sometimes." He quickly released her and ran to the bar. He leaned over the bar and grabbed a bottle of well vodka. He ran down the opposite end of the bar clearing out everyone's plates and glasses apologizing to everyone he inconvenienced. " 'DA FUCK NATSU" yelled Cana as quickly grabbed her barrel before it got knocked over.

Lucy stood completely stunned and glued in place not knowing if she should run away as planned or be mad at him for calling her dense. She glanced at Levy which looked puzzled "What is going on?" she asked Levy. "I have no clue!" Everyone in the guild at this point was focused on the bar and the pink haired lunatic trying to figure out what the hell he was doing. Finally with a shout "YO HAPPY… PICK HER UP!" the blue cat called to attention "AYE!" he flew over to Lucy "Don't flail you're heavy and I'll drop you."

Lucy lacked the energy or wherewithal to even respond. Happy picked her up and lifted her rather gently bringing her up to the rafters. Natsu nodded approvingly with a ridiculous smile on his face. He turned his attention to the bar and jumped on top of it, he squatted down and with a quick breath of fire he set the bar a blaze. Everyone gasped and cleared the bar area not knowing what was happening. Shouts could be heard and confusion was starting to settle into the crowd. Lucy looked down at the bar and gasped bringing her hand up to her mouth. She started giggling and smiling, tears were rolling down her face. Everyone was completely stumped as to why she was laughing and crying. None of them saw that the flames of the bar read I LOVE YOU LUCY.

A/N: Chapter 2 is heeeeeere!! Let me tell how fun it was to write this! I literally sat there stumped on how to go about everything and all I did was just let my fingers do all the work and it all came together! Hope you all like it!

Mondays were probably the worst days of the week. After a few days of sleeping in, not staring absentmindedly at a computer screen or Lucy's personal favorite not having to deal with her overzealous coworkers; coming back to it all definitely made Mondays the bane of Lucy's existence.

"Lucy, that story you did on the Orland family was so cool! Who would have thought we'd be the first to get the big scoop on one of Fiore's wealthiest families? Drug smuggling? So cool!" Jason, Lucy's fellow journalist yells out as he drops a freshly printed magazine of Sorcerer Weekly on her desk. Sorcerer Weekly, while it was an odd name, was one if not the most popular publication. From celebrity gossips to political issues, Sorcerer Weekly was the one stop shop for all things newsworthy. Lucy had gotten the job there as intern during her college years and quickly moved up the ranks. She would like to believe it was because of her skills as a writer and not because the Heartfilia blood ran through her veins.

Lucy gave the man a halfhearted smile as she leans back in her chair and stretches. Jason really was a sweetheart, but sometimes his hyperactive nature when it involved a good story was a bit much. "Thanks! The public deserves to know the truth and I love bringing them just that." Jason smiles brightly giving her another round of praise and leaves her to her work.

Lunch time soon came around and Lucy found herself sitting at a local café catching up with one of her closest girlfriends, Levy McGarden.

"So, how was the seminar?"

Lucy only received and exasperated sigh as a response from the blue haired woman. "That bad?"

"They all thought I was cute and assumed I was some wet behind the ears high school intern who wanted to play with the big boys. When they found out I was the daughter of the McGarden's they asked for my father!"

"Yikes…"

"When they realized I was one of the guest speakers someone had the nerve to say my presentation was amazing, but my father would have "drove it home" in…get this French!"

Lucy snorts. It was a big mistake on anyone's part to assume Levy McGarden was just an adorable bundle of brains, she was a polyglot queen who loved her books. She learned more languages than most ever would in a lifetime and applies it to not only her daily life, but her job as well. Never let her normally quiet demeanor fool you. "Did you curse him out?"

"You bet your ass I did, in the most diplomatic way too! They all thought I'd need a translator, but jokes on them! I didn't master twenty difference languages for nothing! Gajeel practically died laughing when we got back to the hotel room."

Lucy could only laugh as her friend angrily shoved a forkful of chicken salad in her mouth. Levy might have been short for her age, but that didn't stop her from speaking her mind when provoked. A trait her boyfriend found to be "hottest thing ever".

"But enough about me, are you still hiding out from Natsu?" Lucy tenses at the name and gave her friend an embarrassed look. "I…I tried, but he found me at the mall."

Levy's eyes widen. "When were you going to tell me this?"

"It slipped my mind?" Lucy laughs nervously. Levy definitely wasn't buying that, but dropped it to get to the point. Lucy relayed all that happened during her encounter with Natsu earning nods and giggles from her friend.

"I'm sure he wasn't all too happy about you avoiding him."

Lucy looks away sheepishly. "Was it really that obvious?"

Levy raises an eyebrow. "Three days in and I was already getting the "Have you heard from Lucy" calls."

"Oh gosh…."

"I'm amazed you were able to evade him for as long as you did."

"I'm surprised he didn't burn down all of Magnolia trying to find me." The two women laughed at the thought.

"It's sad that he would do it too. Which makes it even more strange that he didn't try harder to seek you out."

Knowing that hardheaded man, he would do everything in his power to make sure Lucy was in his sights. She was sick for a day? He'd skip out on work just to make sure she was okay. Move to another country? He'd move there too. Hell he'd probably be on the plane with her. Even if she told him to stay away from her the chances of him actually listening were….well he'd never listen to her.

"I did get a few calls and texts, but it wasn't anything crazy. Maybe it would be weird considering..." She trails off. "Considering you shoved your tongue down his throat?" Levy asks casually.

Lucy chokes as if air itself was stuck in her throat. Again, how could someone say that so simply and expect her not to die from embarrassment? "Why are you repeating what he said?! That is not what I did!"

"From what you told me, that is exactly what you did." Levy grins winking at Lucy.

"Are you two trying to gang up on me?"

Taking a sip of her drink Levy smiles. "Wouldn't be the first time, Lu."

Lucy groans leaning back in her chair. Natsu wasn't the only one who lived to tease the young woman. Levy was a master of poking fun at Lucy's expense. "Aside from that, what I did was unforgivable. Lisanna is my friend and I kissed her boyfriend, Levy. It would be weird to just blow up my phone right after that and he knows it."

"I'm sure he was just giving you space, but knowing Natsu he needed his daily dose of Lucy. And Lisanna isn't some crazy girlfriend that hates the fact that you two are practically joined at the hip. She respects your friendship just like you respect their relationship."

The blonde pouts slightly. "I still feel horrible."

"Because you kissed someone else's boyfriend or because you're not sorry about it?"

It took Lucy a moment to respond to her friend's inquiry and her answer alone made her feel even worse.

"Both…"

The day had passed relatively quick after Lucy's lunch with Levy. After about an hour of dealing with "Super Cool Jason" and meetings with other coworkers for the rest of the afternoon, Lucy found herself laying lazily in her couch by the evening. A bowl of ice cream in one hand and the remote in the other. She had aimlessly flipped through the channels about a dozen times before she finally settled on watching Access Fiore. It was a popular show for those who would rather listen to celebrity gossips through the television than read about it.

"Popular model turned singer Mirajane Strauss has just announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend, MMA fighter, Laxus Dreyar. Sources say the couple will have a small wedding containing mostly family and friends by next year. Congrats to the happy couple and rest in peace to all her hopeful fans who have been crushed by the news. I know I'm one of them," Says one of the reporters.

Lucy smiles as a white haired woman pops up on the screen in the form of a picture, happily hugging a muscular blond haired man. It was news Lucy was already aware for more than a week, but it was still nice to know it was no longer a secret.

Mirajane was another friend Lucy had the pleasure of knowing. She was the oldest amongst the Strauss siblings, with her brother Elfman the second oldest and Lisanna being the youngest. The three of them were very close despite having the demanding jobs that they did.

Mira had gotten her start after being scouted by a talent agency at the age of sixteen and quickly became the Sweetheart of Fiore. She charmed everyone with her dazzling smile, beautiful singing, and nicely proportioned body that most people envied. She also went by another name that many rarely used, the She-Devil. A moniker created during her younger years and let's just say Mira's talent wasn't just stealing hearts. That was a particular side of Mira that Lucy only saw a few times and it was a good thing it was never directed at her.

Elfman soon followed his sister into the spotlight but as Beast Soul, a well-known wrestler known for his "manly" takedowns. Lastly, Lisanna went down a different path and became a zoologist due to her love of animals. Not as big as the other two, but it paid well and she was able to do what she loved the most. All three were different and yet Lucy couldn't imagine them not being as close as they are.

The reporter continued on. "In other news, as many know Jiemma Orland CEO of Sabertooth Collections was arrested early Friday morning after evidence of his involvement with the production of the new gateway drug Daemonium surfaced. A press conference will be held Friday morning by his daughter and CFO Minerva Orland. With the company taking as long as it is to respond can damage control really be done or is this the end of Sabertooth?"

A video was then shown of a rather large man with white hair being escorted out of large building in hand cuffs by police men. Lucy grimaced at the sight. While she did not know the man personally, the Heartfilias and Orlands were acquaintances who often were at the same social gatherings. Lucy had met the older man's daughter a few times at these gatherings, but they never meshed well. If you didn't own at least three houses, then you weren't worth her time.

That was the kind of person Minerva was. She belittled people who worked under her and acted entitled to just about anything. Lucy was glad her parents raised her to appreciate the small things in life and allowed her to live among people who didn't have the luxury of flying out to Dubai for their birthday.

A small buzz from her phone breaks her away from her thoughts. She smiles brightly when she realizes it was a text message and who it was from, but instantly frowns at the message itself.

Natsu: Happy and I have agreed to sue you

She stares at the message in confusion before finally replying.

Lucy: For what?

Natsu: Child neglect…

Lucy: What are you talking about?!

Natsu: As Happy's mom you have failed to provide for him. Sooooo…

Lucy: I don't remember agreeing to be that blue furball's parent.

Natsu: Denying your child and name calling? The judge will looooove this.

Lucy: Ignoring you now.

Natsu: If you wanna make this right you should come over on Friday and feed us.

Like that was ever going to happen. She proceeds to ignore the messages as she mindlessly messes around with her phone. Seconds later a new message surfaces.

Natsu: Are you really going to let me and Happy die from neglect?

Natsu: You're breaking our hearts

Natsu: Lucy.

Natsu: Luuuuucy!

She wasn't going to break.

Natsu: Luce…

Nope!

Natsu: LUIGI!

Lucy: ….

Natsu: ….

Lucy: NO!

Natsu: Awww please?

Natsu: You can't see it but I'm pouting right now.

Lucy: Why can't Lisanna do it?

There was no response from him for five minutes or so, fueling the nervousness that lingered at the pit at Lucy's stomach. Was she out of line? Of course not. This was something that a girlfriend was supposed to do. If you were hungry then call up the person who should be doing things like cook for you.

Another ping from her phone startled the blonde.

Natsu: Because she has better things to do.

Lucy frowns reading over his response. Was he insinuating that she had nothing better to do than cater to him and his gluttonous lazy cat's needs?

Lucy: What's that supposed to mean?!

Natsu: IT MEANS I BETTER SEE YOU AT MY PLACE WITH A BAG OF GROCERIES!

Lucy: I'm not doing it!

Natsu: THEN I'LL SEE YOU IN COURT!

He was lucky that Lucy's phone was dying or their battle of words would have continued for at least another hour. She bids him good night and only received three big smiley faces and one that looked too much like a smirking devil in return.

Finding the strength to finally rise from her comfortable position in the couch, headed into her bedroom. She prayed she wouldn't be sent out to the press conference, but something told her she was going to be in middle of the hustle and bustle of it all.

A/N: And we are done! Not much happened this chapter, but don't worry folks I have plotted how I want this to go down. I just hope my brain translates well on paper or rather computer screen? I'm trying to find ways to not be overly descriptive and detailed so I won't sound boring, but I feel like I leave so many things out and it's not as good. I really hope this story is to people's liking. Look out for more complex stuff soon! And don't forget to review!

My first ever fanfiction (Rough plot)

Main plot for my fanfiction - (Contains my own spoilers of course)

This is just the plot. So all the spelling errors and things will be got rid of when i write the actual fanfiction itself. Natsu, Lucy and Happy have come back from a mission they just went on which was defeating 10 giant birds that had taken over a nearby city. Happy is eating his fish while Natsu gets into a fight with Gray because of what gray told him about the mission. Gray said that he would win a prize of 1 year's worth of free meat but what that actually meant was Natsu could meet the person for free for a whole year as the person they helped was pretty famous.

Anyway after the brawl which Erza broke up Lucy asks if theres any new jobs they could do to cheer up Natsu. Mirajane gives Lucy one that came yesterday about protecting a woman named Eda's home and you would get a huge reward. Lucy decides this would be the perfect job for them. Lucy sees Nab staring at the job board and is about to ask whats wrong when the guild starts its usual huge brawl. Natsu, Gray, Erza, Gajeel, Elfman,Laxus are all in the brawl.

Lucy notices Nab getting angry and warns everyone to stop but Nab ends up breaking the job board and runs off stopping the brawl as everyone wonders whats wrong with Nab. Erza and Natsu go to find out whats wrong but Nab doesnt tell them a thing. Meanwhile Jellal as popped by asking for Erza. Natsu and erza get no clues from Nab and instead head back to the guild. Lucy tells natsu of the job she got from mirajane and erza overhears this. She decides that more people that go the better for extra protection. So Natsu,Lucy,Gray,Happy,Carla,Wendy,Gajeel,Levy,Juvia,Elfman,Erza and Jellal go.

Natsu and the gang head on a train and the dragonslayers are sat together ill. Lucy looks puzzled and gray asks her whats wrong. Lucy shows gray the job request and notices something a little unusal and that it says nab at the bottom of the request sheet crossed out. Gray tells lucy that its most likely nab messing about with them. Lucy decides to leave it at that. When the gang get to Eda's home they notice that nobody seems to be in. Natsu decides they should break in to see if shes not hurt. As they enter a mysterious person appears in the distance. While team natsu search the house they find nothing and then they group back up in the hallway and wonder what the job request is about. The mysterious person blows the house up but luckly for fairy tail a creature appeared in the nick of time and teleported everyone to an unknown location. The cheetahs name is Barry and this is cruiserville island.

Barry tells the gang that he wants them to save his island. Erza is wondering who blew up Eda's house while Natsu and Gray decide to help Barry out. Barry tells the gang of 5 areas in this island that have been taken over by an evil team known as the Forarm Shadows. Barry wants the gang to take each of the Forarm Shadows out. Barry takes everyone to his hideout so he can show them where each member of the gang is hiding. When they get there the gang is attacked by Hijack. Team natsu try there best to defeat hijack but hijack's power easily takes out the gang. Hijack then kidnaps Barry.

Team natsu wake up to find out Barry is gone. While everyone as a headache from the fight Lucy looks for the map barry was talking about. After searching Lucy eventually finds it. They see the 5 locations Barry was talking about and decide to go and stop each one. They decide to split up into 5 teams (TEAM 1 - Gruvia/Team 2 - Gajeel,Levy and Lily/Team 3 - Just Elfman/Team 4 - Jerza and the final team of Lucy, Natsu, Wendy, Happy and Carla.

Gajeel's team heads west to a place called Syclor which as Rhode Riser (One of the 5 forarm shadows) When Gajeel gets there he sees a group of men picking on some young girl. Gajeel beats up the men and the girl thanks him. An unknown voice from behind asks if Gajeel likes girls because i have yours. Rhode riser has taken Levy hostage. Levy frees herself with her magic and wants to help Gajeel however Gajeel tells Levy he can handle this so go and protect the little girl. Levy and lily take the little girl to safety while gajeel battles Rhode Riser. Rhode's power allows him to change between 4 different versions of himself at any point. Each version as a main elemental magic (So he has a fire version, a wind version, and earth version and a water version)

While gajeel is fighting Rhode, Gruvia enter the east side of the island to a place called winter. The place is very cold and as a christmas themed look. Juvia holds Grays hand and for a moment they forget that there on a mission. Juvia asks gray to enjoy christmas with her just for a moment. Gray decides to and the two head towards what appears to be and outside icering. Juvia and Gray start to iceskate together in a quite romantic way when suddenly the ice shatters. It looks like gray and juvia die but thats not the case it was an ice illusion that gray created. Gray and juvia appear behind a girl. Shes one of the 5 forarm shadows and her name is Kelly Von ice. Kelly congrats gruvia on the trick they played and comments on what a beautiful couple they make. Juvia is inlove mode and gray actually blushes for a moment before getting serious. Gray and Juvia strip together and decide to fight kelly for real. Kellys power allows her to shatter ice and create her own black ice. Gruvia struggles against kelly.

back to gajeel vs Rhode. They are still fighting but with the constant switching it starts becoming a pain for gajeel. Rhode ends up using a powerful attack and knocks out Gajeel. Rhode starts talking about how he is all this and that when gajeel notices some iron nearby but its too far away to reach. Levy returns with lily and uses her magic to give gajeel the iron. Now gajeel goes all dragonforce and offically takes out Rhode Riser (One of the 5 have been defeated). Gajeel thanks levy with a kiss and thanks lily for coming back to help him. They then turn around to notice the same cute girl from before. The girl as black aura coming from her and she blows up the area. Gajeel protects levy and lily but gets hurt in the process.

Gruvia are still fighting kelly. After realising that ice isnt working against her ice killing magic gray turns into his demon slaying side and aims to take kelly out. The fight becomes more possible now and in the end gruvia defeat Kelly taking out (The 2nd of the 5 forarm shadows)

Natsu's team have gone south to try and find Lara (One of the forarm shadows). Natsu's team happen to see a similar looking building to there own fairy tail. Wendy says not again (Thinking about Edolas) Natsu decides to ask someone from this building if they know where Lara is. As they enter they see that inside is not like fairy tail at all. Its more like some big hotel. Even though it looks small from the outside. Theres even a front desk. Natsu asks the front desk person if she knows where Lara is however she has no clue. Instead she calls for Gray to come and talk to these guys.

Elfman went north east to a place called Babalon. To try and defeat Jaune Atom. When elfman enters the building he notices a huge billboard that says if anyone wants to challenge jaune atom then come to the ring. Elfman as a man wants to take on jaune so he heads to the ring. Elfman enters the arena and starts to battle the big Jaune atom. Its a huge big guy showdown. Jaune Atoms can increase the size of his hands and he as super powerful strength. Unlucky for elfman Jaune as ways to counter his beast soul. Elfman struggles to face jaune and in the end gets defeated by him. Elfman is then thrown into a nearby jail as thats a price for losing against Jaune. Elfman in jail sees his sisters and instantly believes there is sisters and attempts to hug them. Mirajane and Lisanna are grossed out and kick elfman to the ground. In this world Lisanna and Mirajane are not sisters but married Lesbians who tryed to take out jaune atom for woman everywhere. Elfman is aloud a call and calls Erza. Erza decide to bail on what they were supposed to do and go and bail Elfman out.

Back to Natsu and gang. Gray showed up and whats this he loves fishing? Happy seems to get along with this gray very well as they keep talking about fish while lucy facepalms herself and natsu keeps pestering the reception woman. other Gray decides to take them further in the building to find help on locating Lara's whereabouts. What they didn't know was the receptionist Is LARA in disguise. Gray takes them to the 3rd floor but then gets a call from the receptionist saying she needs his help. Grays tells them go 2 more floors up and you will find the room you need. Gray heads back down while natsu keeps going up. Eventually they get to a big open room that looks more like the fairy tail they know. In this room they see many familar faces such as Gajeel, Laxus, Lucy, Elfman and many more. Lucy, Natsu, Wendy and gang are shocked when they see Gajeel and Laxus pretty close and notice they are married, Also elfman shows them his pet dog which as pink hair and is named Natsu. Natsu starts petting the dog but happy doesnt like it. Happy runs off into the hallway. Natsu and lucy go after him. Leaving wendy and carla in the room. Wendy asks the gang if they know where Lara is. Otherworld Lucy says she doesnt know. Otherworld Lucy tells wendy its nice that shes not so clingy compared to this worlds wendy. wendy has no clue what shes talking about. otherworld lucy leaves the room to do her own thing, wendy and carla turn around to see a woman and its Lara. Lara sends a blast at everyone knocking everyone in the room out. She then heads the direction natsu, lucy and happy went.

Natsu and lucy are still trying to find happy's whereabouts. Natsu takes a break from searching for happy. He gets lucy close to the wall and tells her how they havent had much alone time recently due to all the current jobs. Lucy blushes and just as there about to kiss happy flys at them. They both end up kissing happy on the cheek. Happy is happy again and natsu says he's sorry to happy. They make up. Natsu and lucy smile at each other. Natsu tells lucy once this job is done we should go on a little holiday just the two of us, however happy wants in. Natsu tells happy he can bring carla and make it a double date holiday. The 3 of them do a highfive to agree to that. The gang hear a sound and go to investigate. Suddenly the room is filled with smoke and lucy dissapears. Natsu ends up naked and wonders where his clothes went. Natsu and happy go on search for clothes and to find lucy.

Jerza have bailed Elfman out of jail and elfman tells them what happened to him. Jerza decide to go and challenge him. Before that elfman wants to free lisanna and mira. They might not be is sisters in this world but they still have there face. Jerza distract the guards while elfman frees lisanna and mira. Lisanna and mira thank elfman and escape. Elfman feels proud and the 3 head towards the arena once more.

Lucy wakes up naked in a bath. A woman is standing out of the bath. (LARA) she tells lucy who she is and she then fills the air with something that makes Lucy super shy. Lucy covers herself up in the bath all nervous and lara decides to leave the room. Natsu and happy enter a room looking for some clothes. Natsu notices the floor seems unsafe and like a moron hits it with is foot, natsu ends up falling through the floor and ends up landing in the bath with lucy. Natsu and lucy stare at each other in the bath. Natsu grabs lucys hand and goes in for a kiss but notices lucy acting all shy. Natsu wonders what happened to Lucy. Natsu gets up, Lucy gets a clear view of Natsu's penis, Lucy blushes in a shy way and gets out of the bath. Her body reacting to the shy power she was inflicted with. Lucy grabs a towel and leaves the room. Natsu also grabs a towel and chases after her.

Jerza are now battling jaune atom. Jaunes strength is very powerful but together Erza and Jellal get the best of Jaune with teamwork and actually shock the crowd by defeating him. Elfman is proud while Jerza hug and kiss each other. (The 3rd of the 5 is now defeated)

Lucy in a towel is still running from natsu. The shy magic and seeing Natsu's penis is really effecting Lucy at the moment. Lucy heads into a nearby room to hide from Natsu. Someone appears from behind and attacks lucy knocking her out and her towel comes off. Lucy wakes up tied to a bed wearing very sexy underwear. Her body is feeling very hot but why? Lucy turns to her right to see Wendy, wait its not the wendy we know but this worlds wendy. This worlds wendy is obessed with Lucy and is super inlove with her. This worlds wendy put something into Lucys mouth that makes her body very sexually aroused. Just as it looks like the otherworld wendy was about to touch lucy's body (The good wendy comes in) Wendy saves lucy by freeing her from the bed and tells her to get out of here. The 2 wendys face off against each other but the otherworld wendy is getting the advantage. Out of nowhere good wendy gets back up as chelia from the otherworld steps in to help her. The otherworld chelia is a part of this fairy tail guild and found this wendy to be a sweet girl. Wendy and otherworld chelia defeat otheworld wendy together. After the win wendy tells this Chelia that in her world there best friends and are dating. Chelia is happy and wendy gives her a hug for helping her.

Lucy who is still feeling the effects of the sexual substance ends up seeing the otherworld Lucy do something suspiscious. Lucy attempts to follow her but is trapped by Lara in a room. Lucy attempts to use her stardresses but is easily overpowered due to the sexual power stopping lucy from using her full strength. Lara tells lucy that the only way to get rid of that magic is to have sex. Lucy keeps trying to beat lara but its not working. Lara ends the fight early saying come back to me when your at full strength. Lara unleashes a powerful blast that is about to hurt lucy but natsu steps in just in time. Lucy finds it hard to look at natsu with how shes feeling. Natsu gets closer wondering whats happening to her. wendy and otherworld Chelia appear and tell Natsu that its a sexual power that has taken over her body as Lara is a succubus who gave other Wendy some of her sexual power. Theres only one way to help Lucy.

Natsu decides he will help Lucy no matter what. They havent had sex yet in there relationship but Natsu will help Lucy to the end of time. Otherworld Chelia,Carla, Wendy and Happy decide to go looking for Lara themselves so Natsu can save Lucy. Natsu takes Lucy to a room that happens to look romantic. Lucy asks Natsu if he really wants this, Natsu said we need alone time and we finally have it. The two of them get whisked away in a very sexual experience. Natsu and Lucy have sex and it breaks the sexual curse that is put on Lucy. After about 2 hours Lucy decides its rematch time against Lara. Just as it looks like there both about to go Natsu gets a call from Erza. Erza asks if Natsu can head and find Hijack as its the place where jerza were supposed to go but ended up changing there path due to Elfman. Lucy tells Natsu to go and defeat Hijack and she will defeat Lara. Natsu and Lucy make a pact with a kiss that both of them will win there battles and make it out alive.

Lucy heads back to the room that looks like the original fairy tail building. Lucy is more than ready to go against Lara. Lara has defeated wendy, other chelia and the 2 cats. Lucy battles Lara in an epic battle. Lucy shows her true strength and gets the great win. (4 of the 5 are now defeated) Only 1 to go. Wendy asks how it was with Natsu and lucy blushes and says its none of there business. otherworld Chelia responds with it was that great then. Lucy smiles and hopes natsu will be ok. Meanwhile otherworld Lucy is watching from a room in the building. An evil grin is on her face.

Natsu heads to Hijack and attempts to battle him. Natsu uses his strength and looks like a win is for sure, however Hijack uses one of his powers which can take other peoples strength and give him a boost while making them weaker. He uses this to get the best against Natsu. Gray saves Natsu from what looked liked the end and they decide to team up to once and for all put a stop to the 5 forarm shadows. After defeating Hijack they ask for Barry back. Barry jumps from the nearby roof and lands behind gray and Natsu. Barry as an evil look in his eyes. He tells them thankyou for defeating the 5 forarm shadows and now his true power awakens. What this its nab?. but another world nab.

Natsu and gray are lost on whats going on but it turns out Barry was an evil Nab all along. This Nab tells them that he used the good nab on his first ever mission to bait you all here so he can steel everyones magic and convert it into magic that will allow otherworlds lucy to defeat the celestial king and then she can rule over the celestial spirits for ever.

Lucy, wendy, otherworld chelia, carla, and happy have left the building to see otherworld Lucy floating in the air. Wendy and otherworld chelia attempt to fight her but this lucy easily overpowers them sending them across the ground. Happy and carla save each of them. Lucy comes to the ground and has a staredown with herself. The evil Lucy's hair changes to black.

Natsu and gray are attempting to battle this worlds Nab but he's unlike the nab from earth. His magic is totally different. He can take control of peoples attacks and keeps making natsu and gray hurt each other by accident.

Lucy is trying to battle herself. It appears that jerza, Gale team, Elfman and Juvia have all made it to where lucy is. Evil lucy creates evil celestial spirit copys and everyone starts battling them. Lucy battles herself in which its a very hard battle. In the end lucy manages to defeat the evil lucy and get the win and everyone else defeats the evil spirits. Evil nab manages to use grays magic to freeze gray for the timebeen. Leading to a really tough battle between Natsu and evil Nab. Before evil lucy dies she tells good lucy that unless evil nab is defeated i will just revive again. So Lucy goes to help Natsu. Lucy and natsu together in the end defeat Nab once and for all saving cruiserville island. Lucy and natsu hug and then are happy everything worked out in the end.

the people of cruiserville island thank fairy tail for saving there world and tell them if they ever want to come back they can. They are given a controller to opening a portal in which they can get back here at any point. The gang return to Eda's house to see Nab on his hands and knees saying sorry. Natsu goes to nab and tells him its ok everything worked out well in the end. Natsu looked at lucy and they both smiled at each other from what happened. The gang take a train back to fairy tail.

The story ends with a few little things. Gray and Juvia have gone iceskating together. Elfman is having a meal with his sisters, Jerza are sat on grass discussing what happened, Gajeel and levy are training together, Happy and Carla are telling Asuka what happened, Wendy is telling Chelia about otherworld Chelia.

While Natsu and Lucy are sat on lucys bed at her house. Lucy thanks Natsu for helping her with the sexual thing. Natsu said he would do anything for Lucy. Lucy asks natsu if he enjoyed the experience, Natsu said yeah and he asks lucy if she enjoyed it. Lucy replys with it felt so good. Lucy asks if you want to do it again as nobodys here. The arc finishes with naked natsu on top on a naked lucy. They kiss and have sex again. THE END
