I feel like both Don and Raph could have helped Leo during his ptsd arc. Raph would be the only one who understands Leo’s anger and Don would understand almost getting everyone killed in his cased killed cuz of SAINW.

super sweet idea! I think it's true that they both would be able to relate to him in different ways, and it makes sense they'd try to reach him on those grounds. To be honest, I think that's exactly what would make it difficult for them to help--or well, not by necessity, but what did make it difficult for them to help

Okay let's talk about Donny. I've thought about this one a lot. We don't ever canonically see him dealing with what he saw in that alternate universe, other than immediately after when he hugs Mikey and Raph. But we can imagine. He's already someone who puts a lot of pressure on himself (ie Underground City). Now the big threat that's been weighing so heavy on him for so long, the thing that he went to the future and saw there was no way to beat except to sacrifice themselves, is gone.

He can finally rest.

And I do feel like that's the attitude we see. He's eager to take out some aggression on the PDs when they show up at the farmhouse, but it's not Obsessive Mode Donatello. Compared to how we know he gets when he thinks something is his fault or that someone needs him help, he Chillin. Also he immediately develops a crush on Jhanna. I mean that's just one reading, but as a lesbo recovering from severe emotional repression I think I know the face of a traumatized soul seeking solace in the idea of a future and falling too hard too fast for Stronk Smort Gorl as soon as she gives him a bit of attention, not that I, ahem, have uh, direct experience or anything

Anyway

I think he's making a very deliberate choice to stop taking things so seriously--to be a kid for the little bit of time he has left to be a kid. To cling on tightly to his relationships with his brothers above all else, because he knows (and likely has it fresh in his mind) he could lose them. Goofing off with Mikey isn't a distraction, it's a priority.

And then Leo is doubling down on being child soldiers. To Donny, all that work they did was to escape that life. Taking down the Shredder should mean, from his pov, they now get to focus on just living, building themselves a little corner of the world they can just stay in and be happy.

I had a breakdown of multiple episodes demonstrating this but my app crashed and it all got deleted so just trust me ok

Big important example though: Dragons Rising. Yes, Donny understands the mission, he'll play his part to get it done, but even more pressing is to make sure he preserves the light in Mikey's eyes. Now that the Shredder is dealt with that's the next thing on his checklist to make sure that future never happens. They put on silly disguises. He wears a mustache and does an old man voice.

Then Leo doesn't see the exact results he wanted from a planned mission and chews them out for treating it like a game. I can imagine how much that remark would sting for Donny specifically, assuming his brothers know about what happened in that alternate dimension. (do you think old man Leo, listening to this sixteen-year-old insisting that they should go after Shredder again, this time they would win, ever said something, even very gently, to the effect of 'be careful Donny, this isn't a game?' y-yeah me neither)

You can hear his barely contained frustration when he defends himself and the others with, "Leo, we did the best we could."

Which is ultimately what will help Leo. That's the exact mantra that brings him through the battle with himself. But he's not hearing it from Don; to him in that moment it just sounds like an excuse. And Donny, who is also a hurting traumatized teenager, very likely doesn't appreciate his hard-earned wisdom being dismissed as childish and lazy.

Now on to Raph: he talks explicitly throughout Leo's arc about how he can see himself in it, and out of everyone, I feel like we see him most directly trying to help. He's sticking right by his side, supporting his ideas, training harder when Leo asks him to train harder. Back to Dragons Rising: in stark contrast to Donny's almost scolding comfort, Raph waits until Leo leaves and then:

"I hate to say it, but Leo's right."

Everything Leo is saying and doing makes perfect sense to Raph--as far as he's concerned, where it goes wrong is when it gets too extreme. 'Yes we do need to take this more seriously, but he shouldn't yell at us.' 'Okay training more and harder is a good idea, but how much more and harder?' He gets needing to blow off steam--he watches Leo face the rat king, and holds back (which is not an easy thing for him to do) because he thinks Leo needs to work this out of his system.

After all, that's what Raph's always done. Step outside, get some air, find someone to take it out on who deserves it so that he doesn't take it out on his brothers. But you know what else Raph is always doing when he does that?

Finding someone to help.

And that's super healthy and really healing. But it's something he does naturally because he likes to, I don't know if he's connected it with helping to manage his temper (it's easy for us to see because we're watching it, but he's living it. Hard to notice patterns when you're in the middle of them).

Anyway, blowing off steam doesn't work for Leo. Every time he faces something down on his own just further reinforces to him that he's the only one taking this seriously, and he absolutely has to be perfect in order for his family to be safe.

I think a lot about Raph, seeing Leo get mad enough to hurt Master Splinter, and then watching him be sent away. From his teenage perspective, wouldn't it feel like Leo is being punished? Wouldn't he wonder about how far he's allowed to push things, how close he might have come in the past to being sent overseas? I think Leo really needed the time for himself and understood that to some extent. He probably felt it was a just punishment as well, but I think he realized Splinter was doing what was best for him. After all, he asked for his training to go to the next level. And he doesn't want to make another mistake like that.

But for Raph? I don't think he can imagine a worse punishment than being separated from his family, especially if he just hurt one of them. That moment between Leo and Splinter had to remind him a lot of himself and Mikey. Imagine how he would've felt if the answer to that had been, 'I can't train you anymore, go to Japan to meet a man you've never heard of who will teach you how to control your temper.'

Also later on when he realizes how much it did actually help and wasn't meant to be punitive, that absolutely would twist into 'why were Leo's problems that important but mine never were.'

So why isn't Leo receptive to Raph's help? Well he is. But his goal isn't to heal. He thinks he's doing the right thing by spiraling further and further. Leo would have sucked up Raph's loyalty not unlike what Shredder did to Karai. Obviously not to the same extreme, but he would keep expecting Raph to be right behind him and work towards his goals, and Raph would've kept thinking that the Leo he knew, an undeniably down to earth Decent Guy, was still in there and would be back if he just held out and stuck around. Raph is not hard and fast with rules, he'd make allowances for his brother who is clearly going through some things. And Leo would have just kept pushing.

Anyway

They love each other very much, and ultimately, the fact that Raph did stick it out for so long was likely a big help to Leo. He just wasn't able to see it for what it was until he first shifted his priority to achieving peace within himself, instead of trying to fix the rest of the world. And I do think when he gets back, he'll remember how Raph stuck by him even when he was being very difficult. Because he really did, more than anyone.

As for Mikey, he and Leo have plenty of differences, but they've always been on the same page about one thing: the greater good.

I think Mikey sees Leo doubling down and assumes it's similar to the last time they defeated Shredder: City at War. During that time, Leo and Mikey were the ones who wanted to go out and fix the mess the city was in, stay involved in gang politics. Raph and Splinter were staunchly against it, and Donny went to support and protect the others, with him and Mikey both frequently trying to gently rein Leo in (not something they normally have to do).

Mikey sees it all happening again. Leo feels responsible for the city's safety, doesn't want to rest on their laurels, going into hyper-vigilance after a big victory as an overcorrection from overconfidence.

So Mikey leans just as hard into confidence. He's skipping on training, doubling down on the jokes, anything he can to get Leo to lighten up, or, when that doesn't work, avoid Leo whenever he can. No one likes to be constantly criticized. Just like Donny, he gets defensive: they are doing good for the city, they will keep on winning. After all, he's already a superhero, and a Battle Nexus Champion.

It makes a lot of sense he starts bragging about that again--seeking comfort from the past when the present offers none--and is unfortunate for him that Raph and Donny are just as exhausted as he is from the micro management and constant negativity, and do not take the bragging well at all.

It's also something that ends up helping Leo a lot. Directs all that energy and rage towards a goal, helps him look outside of himself by focusing on helping Mikey, balances the guilt of perceived failures (of himself and of his family) with a simple clear-cut victory. And Mikey knows it helped, he gets to see Leo being closer to himself again. It feels like he's close to a much more important victory, so he keeps pressing. He tries talking more positively about Leo, because positive words mean so much to him and are what's been missing in their home.

It helps some. It might've helped more directly after the inciting event. Either way, it's not a solution. Outside praise has never been enough for Leo, if he's decided he's not where he should be he's gonna keep pushing himself until he achieves it.

And this time 'it' is the assured safety of his family, something he honestly hasn't ever experienced before, and as far as he's concerned, takes more than all of them combined have to give

Overall, yeah I do think both Raph and Donny would've had some useful wisdom to share if 1) anyone had noticed and asked 2) they were able to separate the coping/survival skills they used to deal with their traumas from The Way Everyone Should Deal with Hard Things (big ask from teenagers--as far as they're concerned what they've been through so far is how life works).

Those conversations could've been a big help, although I don't think any amount of family talks would solve things. Leo needed the in-show equivalent of professional help. He needed time away from his family, too, so he could see more clearly what he was doing to them and himself.

I also do think all three of them will have cause to think back later on Splinter's comments that they had healed, but Leo hadn't. I get what Splinter meant by this, Leo's response was maladaptive and even immediately dangerous, but my guy, nobody's okay just a couple months after a traumatic event like that. No not even with meditation, no not even if they are laughing and playing video games. Especially considering how much those boys had already been through. Not to mention the added trauma of Leo 1) having such a drastic personality change that manifested largely as aggression towards them, and 2) being sent away. but that's probably a whole other post lsbfksjs

Season 03, Episode 09: PvP

- Let the devastation begin.

- Ozpin is a watching the fight about to unfold from his mechanical lair.

- Penny is being her sweet self. She considers it an honour to meet Pyrrha. 😭

- Pyrrha is so out of it. Am so scared.

- Ruby and Mercury. I get he must have had his reasons, but right now I don't like the guy. Ruby, run back!!!

- Fucking Ironwood.

- Ren and Nora cheering! Jaune is nervous. ✨

- Emerald. 😡

- I have noticed this before and perhaps forgot to mention it, but I love how Penny's blades have the on/off button at the hilt. It's cute! Very on theme.

- Pyrrha and her have begun fighting now. 😶‍🌫️

- Ruby turned into a missile that Mercury kicked away. Shite.

- He shot at her scroll. Some fucking "friends" they are.

- Penny is doing well. But for how long... 🥺

- Emerald is playing with Pyrrha's head. Good Gods. This is hurting me so much already.

- Mercury and Ruby at it still. YASSSSSSSS! Ruby is getting away.

- Penny's here to win it. Pyrrha's mind is being tampered with. AGHHHHHHHHH. A few blades have turned into too many.

- Penny was dismembered by her own strings. That blade of hers getting her dress piece was like a nail on the coffin. I am a little dead right now.

- Grimm monsters. Ruby sees Penny. She is crying. I think I am going numb.

- Mercury's happy about a job well done. I feel like punching a wall.

- The broadcast has been compromised. The queen chess pawn with a red background.

- WoWie. Even though I don't like Cinder, I must hand it to her. Great plan to bring down both Ironwood and Ozpin.

- A silver lining. ZWEI!!!! He is with Yang.

- Cinder is speaking. Ozpin is strangely calm and watching a ship come in behind him.

- Grimm have begun their invasion.

- "When the first shots are fired... Who do you think you can trust?" -Cinder. With the way our world is going, all this manipulation and the dialogue really came out here and attacked me...

- Jammed feeds. One of Junior's henchmen is also in the audience with popcorn. I don't know why that made me smile. But I needed it. Also, getting a weird sense of deja vu.

- Alarms are ringing. Threat level 9.

- "Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner." Cue to everyone screaming, crying, throwing up...

- Ironwood's gentle reminder to not panic has been interrupted by a Nevermore Grimm. Such good times.

- Kingdom's defences were breached? Ren seems to think so. He smort. I trust him. Does that explain the ships?

- Qrow and Glynda have come to Ozpin. He wants them to get to the city. They are reluctant but leave. Is Oz going to have a one on one showdown with someone soon?

- The Grimm of old are moving. The great migration. Trading in a concrete jungle for a high tech one.

- Whoever does the voice for Ozpin, when he talked to Ironwood asking him to use his army... Chills!!! Great job there!!!

- Holy hells. An entire unit of Atlas soldiers is down. Neo is in the house. She has two umbrellas?

- Ohhhhh. It's just Torchwick's stuff.

- Oh no no no no no. No. They are now commandeering a whole ship and bringing down the ones around... This is going just peachy, I say with clenched teeth.

- Fucking Adam and White Fang.

- Did they just give Grimm a ride in the ships??!?!??

- End credits. Penny's blueprints. The sketch for the flying machine looks incredible! Torchwick and his console of wreaking destruction. So much work has gone into scenes that only last less than a minute quite often. Hats off to the team!!!! Penny and her sketch with her weapons... I am sad. But since she is an Android, am sure she will be back!!!!! Will she remember everything though? I hope they kept backups. Nevermore Grimm sketches. I didn't realise they were inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's work! Was extremely confused about the Grimm of it all too initially. Thankfully the assumption of them being named after the Grimm brothers was right! The music playing right now reminds me of choirs and plays where they use sounds like this to mark a tragedy.

Season 03, Episode 10: Battle of Beacon

- Am not ready to be destroyed further. But that won't stop me now.

- "Victory for hate incarnate."

- Grimm are attacking. People are fighting. It's the cafeteria grounds for the arena.

- Blake and Weiss. Yang be running through the dorms of Beacon with Zwei. No matrons there to ban running through the halls? 😆

- Blake and her are checking up on one another!!! 💖

- Ruby ain't answering her scroll. Yang is obviously worried. Blake is trying to placate her.

- Cue running again.

- Weiss is sad over Penny. So be Blake. And moi.

- Yang just informed them of how the White Fang's releasing Grimm into the school. Blake is focusing on the detail. Should I be terrified?

- Yang has entered the fight. Left the call.

- Blake and Weiss are about to do their jobs. Thank Gods for locker launchers!!!

- Nevermore Grimm is still trying to get into the stadium. Ruby is shell shocked and right where we left her. They are just kids...

- Pyrrha. Staring at the wreckage of Penny. Good Gods. How long has she been doing that?

- Jaune is screaming himself hoarse asking her to move. I could actually feel the ensuing sore throat. Nice voice acting!!!

- He has left the stands and is now running towards Pyrrha. ❤️‍🔥

- Nevermore Grimm has entered the chat. And sent Penny's body parts, Pyrrha and Jaune flying.

Season 03, Episode 12: End of the Beginning

- What is happiness? I don't know her.

- Huh. I think this is RWBY's first half an hour long form episode. I am quaking in my non-existent boots.

A long rant about my version of Jasper's listener: Jasmine

So I've seen a lot of tiny version, and I had mine but I rarely draw her. Meet Jasmine!

Also these are art from March-June about her that I never post

Story time

She was made fully based on my appearance, with the short hair and tall girl trait. But Jasper keep calling his listener tiny so I tried to make the listener fits the role.

So I made the character have longer hair and shorter height. Also I made my tiny to be mute. Because in the audio, Jasper do all the yapping so I made Jasmine a total listener because she cant talk. And voila!

Also around March to June 2024. I made a brainstrom about the story of Jasper and Jasmine because I planned to publish the story online. But because of many things, I only keep the story in my mind :P

A little backstory of Jasmine. Shes a child from a bitch? (IDK WHATS THE RIGHT WORD IN ENGLISH) whos in a secret relationship with a rich married man. And then her mom got imprisoned because she abused her child (out of stress), so Jasmine lives in her father house. Because shes a disgrace in her new family, everyone kinda ignore her existence.

Jasmine wasnt born mute, but because of her shitty life she decided to be one, and only talk with people she trust and plants because shes crazy. But one of her stepbrother, lets call him Jason, get pity of her and decided to take care of her. (Also Jason's role before was an ex of Jasmine but logically a girl like her wont pull a guy)

But then the relationsip between Jasmine and Jason kinda screwed and guess who the problem is? Its Jasmine. Because shes really depended on Jason, she became toxic, controlling, protective, blablabla. And then since Jasmine has no one else, she decided to calm herself to the forest (smort girl)

And then boom she meets Jasper, just like the story on the audio. Jasper notices that Jasmine is mute, so he does all the talking while theyre going to the tree stand. Until she fall for Jasper's trap and get captivated. But because Jasmine doesnt even scream when Jasper hurt or threat her, Jasper thinks its boring and useless to torture her and just keep Jasmine there by injured her knee.

However, because of the stress and pressure, Jasmine start to think that Jasper is care about her just because Jasper has no one else to talk to. Let alone the fact that Jasper try to draw Jasmine out of boredom. Because in her family Jasmine was completely ignored, she feels like her captor treats her better and giving all of his attention to her. In the other hand, Jasper keep Jasmine alive because shes only his emergency food supply.

One day, a lost hiker came and of course Jasper try to lure them. But then turns out the hiker was armed with gun (AND THE DOGS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD ATP), and Jasper was cornered, until Jasmine help him somehow.

That night Jasper treats Jasmine human meat.

The next day, of course Jasper bring up about Jasmine's action. She cant answer, not because she prentends to be mute, but she also confuse with herself. Then Jasper brainwash her, saying that Jasmine is already broken (physically and mentally) so her family wouldnt want Jasmine anymore, so it'd be best if Jasmine stay as Jasper's emergency food supply.

Things have been peaceful after that since Jasmine willing to stay. Jasper teach her a few thing to work on so that Jasmine can be useful, maybe like how to sharpen a knife, make a campfire, even hunting (Also I made her character to love fixing things at first, so thats why Jasper keep her in the first place). Also Jasper teach her how to walk properly again because he injured Jasmine when they first met. Because of the interaction, Jasmine get even more attached to Jasper, even tho he's still annoying as hell.

But that doesnt last long because Jason (the stepbrother) finds her. At first he thought that Jasper is a good person who take care of his missing stepsis, until Jasper strike him and they get into a fight. But because Jason is still her family, Jasmine stop Jasper from killing him when Jason is knocked out.

Now Jasper is the one who fight Jasmine, he broke her knee (again) so she wont be able to interfere the killing process. He says that Jasmine doesnt need him anymore because Jasmine are his property blablaba. But suddenly Jason secretly get conscious and strike Jasper from behind. Jason doesnt hold back and kill Jasper. Meanwhile Jasmine forced to watch and cant interfere because of her broken knee, and its the first time she finally screams, begging Jason to stop, but its too late.

Jason then brings Jasmine back, and things only got worse for Jasmine in her old family because shes already broken. So, she continue her life with much more trauma.

The End

Also why her name is Jasmine? Its because it start with 'Jas' like Jasper and have 'mine' in the end, idk its cute and matched with Jasper.

One ORV Order (Leverage Flavor) For The Counter

I may have lied a little about one a day, because now the writing voices are speaking properly, though they don't wanna flesh out a whole lot of other ideas right now. That said, I'll probably post some smaller ones until busy times roll away, but until then I offer a brainrot idea that's been pretty consistent in sticking around. No meal and sides offered this time, it's just a buffet of options to pick and choose from if you get the general gist of the thing.

I took this one from the TV series 'Leverage', a story about a five person team who commits morally right crimes to pull down people in power who abuse their authority (you can probably see where this is going). Because I have little to no experience in how a smort heist should be pulled off (i swear I'll write it when I figure out how to properly set up some suspense and mild gaslighting) so I'll stick it here and come back every now and then to expand on it.

Now, for the lengthy explanations:

If you haven't watched Leverage, (highly recommended to see btw), the main premise is a team of crime fighters made up of criminals who take down other criminals. It's literally part of their slogan in the opening. There's a mastermind who puts the jobs together, a hitter for any heavy lifting and subtle or not-so-subtle violence solving, a thief to pick up anything and everything no matter the area, a hacker for software and security infiltration, and a grifter for any social interactions, recon, or people manipulation. That's long story short, and you can probably see where this is going.

Lee Hyungsung / Jung Heewon: The hitter duo since they need to protect KDJ from getting hit or sacrificing himself as bait, and I can't decide which one I like better but they always work better together anyways. They bring in muscle and loyalty and a little snark when it matters but can always be counted on to get that last grunt knocked out or a door busted open

Yoo Sangah : Grifter, we'll switching up the romance dynamics a little bit and she’d do great in the role. In the series, the major relationship dynamics happen between the grifter/mastermind and thief/hacker duo (super cute still btw) but because we can mix things around, why not let the grifter and thief share a little skin while the hacker and mastermind grind teeth, y'know? I'll defend my answer a little more, tho, and say who's a better social manipulator than Yoo Sangah, who stuck pepper into the office coffee machine and still walked around like nobody's business, like she hadn't just sabotaged the whole office breakroom, and still says hi to everyone like normal? Girlie is a badass and had so much character development in the novel, from hardworking office worker to apocalypse scenario destroyer, that I feel she could take to the grifter role pretty well, and has probably been running people around in circles in the palm of her hand for so long being HR associated already. Besides kdj, she could probably talk circles around you like it was a regular tuesday morning the day after a failed heist and you would be none the wiser. Maybe I also just want her grifting, but if you wanna switch it up go for it, I won't complain.

Han Sooyoung: Orphaned at birth (or not, see down below), she plays the role of a thief with her awesome pick pocket skills and usual phantom-thief style-esque crimes. Yes, she may or may not have been orphaned in canon - i myself was torn between orphaning her or making her steal from the higher echelons of society with a well established family - but this is more for Leverage canon than anything, and will probably be the one thing most prone to change. The thief in Leverage dealt a lot with straightforward decisions and had trouble understanding people because she wasn't as emotionally driven, partly because of her being abandoned and traumatized as a child and then raised in larceny, but hsy character isn't quite the same so I'd probably give it a 50/50 shot and see how it goes. Hsy from a rich family would be much more her style, attending parties just to see which jewels or antiques she could pilfer, and with inattentive parents and a whole room for herself, she could steal and store just about everything. It makes more sense on how she meets kdj if she's orphaned, but having her come from a rich family also gives more implications and red tape (but a whole lot more potential) that comes with working with her in jobs.

Hacker  - Now, this role was a heavily debated topic for me, myself, and I, with the majority decision of yjh, but hear me out. In Leverage, the hacker is more of a homeboi and stays at base/hq unless he's dragged onto the field so, in this AU, it also gives us the opportunity to change how he's introduced. Case in point, if he just stays from home and hacks (and he's super good at it too), what's stopping him from working remotely and never meeting kdj's little group? That opens up a lot of fun and crazy options, like:

What if it was yma under a different name or something, and yjh is the unfortunate older brother helping his little sister pull (what she thinks is cool game moves and co op style boss raids) what are actually world-shaking crimes? Not as plausible but equally hilarious you gotta admit

What if it was Jang Hayoung tho? Like, Jang Hayoung relays everything they do in crime fighting to YJH as fellow gamers and yjh is brought into this strange group of people he knows nothing about and they all talk funny and seem sus but no, officer, they're definitely not the suspects you were trying to find who took down corporation a just the other day (if he gets found out from the authorities due to no private connection and investigators ask him about this weird chat he's in, he swears he was added to a spam chat and didn't leave through his sister's request. Afterwards he makes sure to encrypt the messages because something is going on with these guys and he's gonna find out what it is)

Han Dooyoung is also a viable option, albeit the more soft-spoken choice, but doesn't give a whole lot of room for bringing in yjh into the team position even though he is a canon hacker

Now, for my personal favorite: hacker YJH but he’s just a pro gamer with extra skills kinda thing and the crime is a side job. Like no joke, he's got his whole place on high security already with his fangirls, and he keeps a pretty stable job, and nobody would suspect THE supreme king as being a major hacker for this crazy group, right? Anyways, they helped him take down someone *cough cough, anna croft* who was annoying him and Mia, so they can't be that bad, and he just wants to make sure they're alright and everything. If he wants to meet up with them he can, but why would he? He definitely doesn't think that mastermind sounds too smart for his own good and definitely doesn't wanna see his stupid face

Kim Dokja : This one is very obvious if you've watched the series, and I can sum it up in three points: Mastermind is smart, self sacrificial, and the very heart of every operation in Leverage, and in Orv canon it fits pretty well. I'd also give the exact reason why kdj was the first one I thought of while watching leverage and got this idea, but that would most probably be spoilers. Let's just say its from the final episode of season 2 and call it good. And actually all the times before that too. The parallels are also pretty big, with both of their backstories eventually being brought to light in small bits and overlapping quite nicely, so I'll leave the similarities there and let ORV explain the rest for those who haven't watched it.

The one thing Leverage's Mastermind and kdj certainly share out in the open, though, is that they both worked under the corporate ladder and saw the corruption of the system for themselves, though Leverage protagonist was much more affected by it. And that sets everything up just about perfectly. Mastermind assembles a sort of team to purge said corruption from other corporations and help those who are suffering from people abusing their authority, and eventually becomes the heart of the family that forms this team of misfit criminals. By about season 4 of Leverage, they really do act like found family, even living together often enough, that kdj as the mastermind of this little group makes it fit nice and snug.

(also, i don't mean to pick but there is a leverage: redemption which is kinda like a leverage 2 but without the mastermind. The team shifts around, and actually changes a few people around, but it doesn't give the same energy and you can see it. Really reminds me of the *multiple* times kdj up and dipped from the group and you had a shift in power and authority and dynamic, just like what is seen in redemption. you can see the plans aren't quite executed and made like how they were in leverage with the mastermind, and they're more prone to falling apart in larger magnitude than what was at stake when compared to the times something messed up with the master mind around. In other words, when the mastermind was taken out and replacements were made, it was like removing a leg and replacing it with a prosthetic. you can do the same things, but it all feels off and you're prone to falling more. That is the core of the mastermind role and almost fits kdj to a T)

This, of course, cannot be without extra cameo appearances of Lee Seolhwa, Shin Yoosung, Lee Gilyoung, Jang Hayoung, Lee Jihye, Kim Namwoon, all the constellations, Bihyung and Biyoo as well, and can all have different roles. Information brokers that are part of KDJ’s info network thing, adopted kids that the group has to rescue, a chunni kid who has to deal with the strain his father is under being forced into overtime or excessively violent situations, anything under the sun and they can join into the plot and not have to fade away like a typical story extra, adding to this already growing family.

Jang Hayoung is a little bit of a jack-of-all-trades in this scenario specifically on what kind of role you want her to play. She's kind of a hacker-esque position with the unidentifiable wall, but could also be an online broker to the missions post-heist steals if they need money. Also a funny thought, she could act as a proxy or replacement to yjh since yjh is always holed up and won’t do reconnaissance like everyone else and they get short on hands real quick and /somebody/ has to scope out how to steal that *thing* so who else to call but the unidentifiable wall, hm?

(and if you've watched leverage, imagine that one scene where the grifter witholds her real name to prevent the mastermind from being suicidal again. Like, the whole group is in on stopping the mastermind from being suicidal and have this quick gimmick where, since nobody knows the grifter's real name, they say that they know it and can't tell mastermind until he earns it, and it stops him from being self destructive and actually works. Now, what does that remind you of from orv, hm? Coincidence? I think not.)

Anyways WOW that was a chonky boi (and I again spent too much time elaborating on this weirdly enough) and I should really stop making these as long as I have but ehhhh it's alright

I'll probably start alternating between hsr and orv for a little while, if thats okay, but I also dabble in genshin so idk....

Luan: I am the type to crack stupid jokes at any opportunity. She's another sibling I relate to. A lot of people hate on her for the April Fools episodes. Fine. Just know that on literally any other day, she's a well-meaning, good-natured girl who likes to crack jokes.

Side note: if my siblings groaned at every joke I made, best believe I'd feel some type of way. I went through the same thing she did in "No Laughing Matter" in school, but unlike her, I never fully recovered from it. Also, "Head Poet's Anxiety" is a GOATed episode.

Lynn: I have the most to say about her. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I'mma say it anyway; Lynn is overhated. I'm sick of people saying that she hates Lincoln. Yes, she is rough with Lincoln sometimes, but that doesn't mean she doesn't care about him. She meant well in "Middle Men" despite her bad advice, went great lengths to help him in "The Loudest Yard", and she DID apologize in "No Such Luck". She's not a saint, no one on this show is, but she's not irredeemable either. It all depends on how the writers feel like portraying her.

Lincoln: It pains me to say that I can't relate to him since I'm not a middle child, and I rarely see my siblings anyway. That being said, I commend him for having the mental capacity to deal with siblings in the double digits. I love the Louds to death, but having that many siblings (in one house, mind you, on top of four pets) would have me pressed every 15 minutes.

Lucy: Not gonna lie, on a normal day, I DO have only one facial expression and one tone of voice.

Lana: If getting my hands dirty is the price to pay for holding a small frog, it's a price I'm willing to pay.

Lola: While her and I have opposite personalities, I will say one thing; I don't like standing in mud, either. I think she's overhated, too, like, she has plenty of episodes that paint her in a positive light. Also, do you guys honestly expect a six-year-old to be well-behaved? I sure as hell wasn't! (I know she's seven now, don't @ me)

Lisa: I am (sometimes) smort. Unrelated, but sometimes I regret having science as my favorite subject in school, because there IS such a thing as knowing too much. The things I Google for my fics... 😰😰

Lily: She's adorable, even after attending preschool. She's the only fictional toddler I know who can throw a tantrum for being constipated ("Appetite for Destruction") and not have me hate her for it.

Lynn Sr./Rita: Are they the best parents? Hell no. But listen, even if they don't always punish their kids when they should, they TRY. And in this day and age, trying is all we can do. They make attempts to be good parents, and I respect that.

So um...I watched both of the venom movies and- I loved them so much

I just wanted to rant about it a little. I feel like this has been said by literally everyone but.

They love each other. Also, Eddie just doing everything he can to carry out Venom's wishes Venom said at the beginning of the movie ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

It's just so sweet. Both of them smiling and watching the sunset. The music. 🥹 It's just sweet. When they split up around the beginning of the movie I screamed.

I like how Venom goes from immature wonderfully fun dude, to philosophical smort boi within seconds. It's entertaining to watch. The plot can be messy in the movies but it's still very good.

Currently re-reading the Percy Jackson books, so I can get all my facts straight, so I can, hopefully, eventually, write a time travel fic. It's been years since I last read some of them. A recap isn't going to cut it.

But anyway.

Frankly, I'm impressed at how Percy handled his temper. 'Cause I know, I would have snapped at some point. With how little information they give him and how everyone is dodging the simplest, most inconsequential questions, I am hands down impressed by Percy.

And also! Why do people keep portraying him as an overpowered dumbass? He's a smort boi. He's doing his best.

I never realized how much the fandom was leaning on the dynamic that Annabeth is the smart one and Percy the overpowered one. Like, come on. People can be more than one thing. Percy can be smart and a dork. Annabeth can be a strategist and get carried away sometimes.
