look, i know that “everybody clapped” is a tumblr fake story staple and a meme but i’ve genuinely experienced being clapped at.

it is worst thing ever. like idk why this is portrayed as a good thing in those fucking stories, it’s so awkward and weird it’s like when you’re being sang to on your birthday by the waiters at chili’s, it’s just horrific and i still to this day don’t know why that happened to me.
