HOW TO (NOT) HOLD YOUR SCINTILLA

Part I - With TFA Lockdown and Prowl.

These and the next ones I will post this weekend were answers in form of doodles for an Ask Box dynamic on IG!

The idea was that people send me names of mech for me to draw how they would handle [my OC] Scintilla; this helped me to think about how she behaves around different characters and in general, is a fun way for me to write lore for future references too.

In this case, Scintilla doesn't get along with Lock' mostly because he sees her like a pest, and 'Tilla is too of a loose cannon for Lockdown's agenda (and because the kremzeek's skill "take-over" doesn't work well with him).

Prowl of course is another whole world for being so welcoming to other life forms! And Scintilla enjoys all the attention and being called "interesting".

BTW Would people be interested if I try something similar here? I admit I already have a text format settled and all so haha I will wait a bit more tho, I don't want to overwhelm myself with the idea.

(( golly gee, i wonder who this is! anyway, i know it's not really miguel related (woah shocker!) but i hope people are able to enjoy it anyway :3 spoiler free ))

× miles has zero, has NO experience with dating or romance before besides little crushes here and there. he doesn't know what kind of romantic gestures would be appropriate when you two first start dating, however he likes the little things. drawing things that you find pretty (like the view of the city, your favorite food, favorite animal) in his sketchbook and giving it to you the next day. finding little trinkets from shops and buying them for you even if it means not eating lunch that day.

× he is a hugger, a big hugger. if anything, he much prefers it over kisses! whenever you two see each other at school or meet up for a date, he greets you with a warm embrace and a gleeful smile. occasionally slumping against your shoulder whining about how tiring his day was. (swinging through the city, kicking butt, being spiderman and whatnot. however, he kinda has to keep those details out.)

× he's kind of bad with compliments, both receiving and giving. not entirely in a bad way though? whenever he tries to give you compliments, sometimes you're too much for him, too beautiful for him to take in, so he ends up stuttering and tripping over his words before apologizing profusely because he just can't find the words for how amazing you are. as for receiving them, he's so taken aback by it. i mean, he tries to compliment you and praise you a lot however when it's returned ten-fold? so casually as well? he melts, trying to cover his face with his jacket to spare himself some embarrassment.

× he was basically the same exact way when he asked you out as well. hell, he tried practicing in the mirror hours before hoping that he could put his artistic abilities through speech but he couldn't find the correct words in the moment. he resorted to writing it all down, he prided himself in how lovey dovey his confession was but when he tried to recite it to you all of a sudden it was like the words were just bouncing off of the page from how nervous he was. when you giggled in his face, he felt like the fear of god was being put into him until you said that you wanted to take him out on a date.

× he's a listener, he is addicted to the sound of your voice. he loves listening to you talk about mundane things, it brings peace to his half chaotic half normal life. you're his safe space, his heaven. at times, he's caught you off-guard mid-ramble because of how lovingly he was staring at you. to which you would respond by playfully pushing him on the shoulder.

× he's not the type to argue either, at least not with you. it's not like you two fought often but there have been times where he's stood you up due to unrelated circumstances or stopped replying to your text messages all night, it hurts you but he always takes responsibility even if he can't tell you why he's so busy in the first place. he feels guilty enough for keeping a massive part of his identity hidden from you, the least he could do is comfort you about it. even if he knows he's gonna have to tell you eventually.

How to Outline a Novel

Hi there, Darlings! I'm excited to dive into the fascinating world of outlining a novel with you today. Don't worry, we won't be here as long as you might think. So, let's get started and have some fun!

Note: this is a longish post and relies on my preferences and experience.

When it comes to outlining your story, you may hear some people insist that the more detail, the better. However, let's be real, we don't want to get bogged down with trivial details like how the trash is being disposed of in our fantasy world, right?

No way, we're all too busy to devote that much time and energy to it! Personally, I have two versions of an outline that I like to use. The first is a basic outline, which works well for stories set in a world similar to our own, or stories that draw from existing myths or legends like Supernatural, Paranormal or Greek Mythology.

The second outline is a bit more detailed, but don't worry, it's not as complicated as some people make it out to be. Since creating a unique Fantasy or Sci-Fi world requires a bit more thought, this outline helps you add in those extra details without overwhelming you. To use it, you'll start with the basic outline, and then add some additional information to create the more detailed version.

In this blog post, I'll be sharing some insights into why certain elements are essential in your outline (for those who love to write but don't know all the 'why's' when it comes to certain things), and how they can make a huge impact on both your writing process and the readers who pick up your book. By the way, in case you were wondering, the story we've been working on is a fantasy romance. Once you've completed outlining each chapter, congratulations, you've successfully outlined your novel! Now, let's move on to the next step: creating characters. You might be wondering why I saved this for after the plot section instead of before, but everyone has their own approach. Personally, I like to create my characters as I'm outlining my novel and really flesh them out while writing my first draft. Then, I use my second draft to make sure that the characters remain consistent throughout the book.

Characters

We've made it to the last section of our basic outline! As a writer, I prefer to develop my characters alongside my plot rather than before it. I start with some basic character details and adjust them as needed to fit the story. Sometimes, characters I initially thought were essential end up being cut, while others I created on a whim end up becoming integral to the plot. For example, in my current work in progress, I created a childhood friend of the main character on a whim, but he ended up becoming an antagonist who will go through a redemption arc and a friends-to-enemies-to-friends trope.

When it comes to creating your characters, there are some essential details you'll want to have nailed down. But don't worry, it's not necessary to have everything figured out until you finish your first draft. Just make sure you have all the important information for your main characters sorted out by the time you start working on your second draft. It's crucial to make sure your characters remain consistent throughout the story and that their actions and thoughts align with their established traits. After all, you don't want to project your own desires onto them - that's not good writing.

When it comes to creating your characters, there are some basic details you'll want to include, like their name and a brief history that matches their personality. For example, it might not make sense for a character with a tragic past to be overly optimistic and carefree all the time, not unless they're pretending.

List a few key traits that define your character's personality, such as being gruff yet secretly caring or sarcastic and cold. You don't need to create a whole resume, just a few words will do. As you write, you might find yourself adding more details to your character's personality, habits, or preferences, so make sure to jot them down.

Another important aspect is their appearance. Decide on this early on and make sure to note it down. You don't want to have to search through all your chapters to remember what your own character looks like! These are the basics, but there are three more things I want to mention that can help flesh out your character even more.

Outer conflict

Outer conflict is basically the challenges and hurdles that a character faces in their environment. It plays a significant role in the story as it generates suspense and propels the plot forward. The external obstacles that a character can encounter are diverse and varied, like dealing with natural disasters, social norms, cultural differences, achieving goals, or fighting against an adversary.

As the character copes with and conquers obstacles, readers get to know their strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. It just feels warm around each other and you feel like you win a lottery by having each other's company. Suddenly, your s/o will try to run away from someone. It's definitely a lover from the past. It could be his ex or someone whom he had a crush on before that came into his life to bring him back, seducing him. He wanted to leave this person behind, but the situation is also causing you too much stress. You will break-up because of this and I see that the decision will come from you. Everything will be very sudden. Like one day you were both so happy then the next you just...break up.

I picked up message cards as well and damn they resonated strongly in this pile! Even after I stitched the story together! >,<

"I'll never finish falling in love with you." Clearly, your haikyuu s/o knows that you have an unfinished business and for him, your story is not yet over.

I think this is the group that thinks nothing is problematic with their relationship, but there is really a problem here and it's a cliche one. And this isn't even really a fight, but more of a disconnect. Your haikyuu s/o is a hardworker and can be workaholic at times. You, on the other hand, are a very independent individual. You can stand on your own and you're also full of intellect. All in all, it looks great but not when the two of you lack time for each other, because he's so busy with work and you are just fine by yourself. How you made up? You'll both realize it and feel it, the need to be with each other. You will both identify that not having a time to spare for each other can ruin your relationship in the long run. Thank you so much for asking! I think I talked about that a little already if you want to check out my other #gralu posts on my blog, but as for how I would develop them? That's a good, hard question. I feel like my answer might not be satisfying, but I’ll give it a shot! This won’t really be as fluffy or fanfic-y as my other posts, just me kinda spitballing about it.

After they started dating, (here's a mini fic about how I might write that and how their relationship might look like in this post, I highly suggest you read that and this post about why like GraLu for a full understanding of why/how they’d work as an endgame couple), I would have Lucy and Gray finally confront juvia and the guild for their mistreatment of Gray. All that gaslighting by their guild-mates and juvia's incessant slobbering over him--yeah that's gotta end first and foremost. Lucy certainly wouldn’t accept it, and would stand up to everyone on his behalf. Gray would draw from her impetuous strength and would also finally put his foot down and not humor juvia any more.

I'd want them to have the time to develop more of a relationship: going on quests and jobs alone together, exploring the world, just hanging out, learning how to synchronize their magic etc. They basically would need more one-on-one time, which they would enjoy immensely no matter what they did, but since they both love their guild so much, they wouldn't leave the guild and would still spend a lot of time with Fairy Tail. I think they’d still go on tons of adventures with Team Natsu because they are Team Natsu. UNLIKE SOMEONE, they can have lives outside of their romance.

Lots of people would definitely tease them about it, from Happy to Mira to Erza to basically everyone (I’d imagine Natsu would be a mite jealous so he wouldn’t), but they all would agree that each completes the other.

I don’t think the two of them would act that lovey-dovey in public ie in front of Fairy Tail members. It’s not so much that they’re too embarrassed—though Lucy definitely gets embarrassed by all the teasing and constantly has to tell people to shut it—it’s more because when they’re with the guild, they like to enjoy the community and wouldn’t want to act like they’re excluding others or in their own world. Their friends are their family after all. Dating wouldn’t change that.

juvia would have a hard time accepting this as you’d imagine, might even try to kill the two of them as she’s shown to be capable of attempting several times before, and might just in the end up and leave the guild (if she isn’t expelled because of her trying to hurt Gray and Lucy), plotting vengeance one way or another. Lucy would be relieved just for Gray’s sake; she’s not the jealous type after all. Gray would be relieved for his own sake too haha, might feel bad for her though because he’s a big softie sometimes, but Lucy grounds him well, affirming him and letting him know he’s safer now.

Anyway, if I was the author, I’d just make more sweet moments between them. I think they already have the perfect basis for a relationship, being best friends who can joke and be themselves with each other, so barely anything would have to change, just the amount of moments really.

In the manga I’m not sure I’d go as far as to show how they get married, though I’d definitely want them to be eventually. If I did though, I think it would be really cute if they had the wedding in the cold mountains of Gray’s hometown to honor Ur and his parents who couldn’t be there. This would’ve been Lucy’s idea. They would have ways of keeping the guests warm through magic I’m sure. Just thought I'd type this out before bed (doing it from my phone which is annoying)

I went out today after being in bed until about 1:30 PM, and getting out of the house helped me feel better. A lot better actually. I really started reflecting on the situation and I'm feeling better. Mostly because I'm acknowledging where my mistakes were, and what I'm going to change going forward.

It really comes down to drawing boundaries early on. If I *know* myself to be someone who becomes attached quickly, as someone who seeks companionship and will cling to anyone who I see potential with, I need to take steps early on to prevent myself from becoming infatuated. Specifically, no lovey-dovey stuff until I'm officially in a relationship.

That's where the issue really lies; in having these sporadic romances right off the bat, I jump to the conclusion that there is this mutual attraction and mutual objective, and I internally start to form expectations for the other party who probably was just here to enjoy themselves and nothing more. And this is what really hit me when I was reflecting; you can't hold on so tight. Those expectations (or maybe "hopes" is a better word) I formed were my way of holding on to these people in hopes that it would keep them from leaving. But the harder I hold on, the harder it is for them to stay. And I become responsible for pushing them away myself.

So I just need to not fall in love in the first place. No cuddling with new strangers, no single date taking multiple hours of your day, no sex, and none of these things ESPECIALLY if they're cute. Buffer out your interactions so you don't become infatuated so soon. Form that bond without expecting anything out of them, no matter how far along into knowing each other we are. Getting off the apps and meeting people organically will help me a lot. I'm realizing that this has probably been the problem all along.

I'm realizing too that that's been the difference between why I feel so abandoned by these fleeting lovers and not my friends who I only speak to every couple of months. Even when I'm the one who's always reaching out, it never bothered me. I've never expected anything out of my friends, so I've never been hurt by them. I truly just love them for them and am happy to be a part of their lives at all.

I'm accepting this. And I'm going to make a conscious effort going forward to keep it from happening again. I still love Taurus deeply, and thinking about all this just makes me want to apologize to him even more. But I can't keep burdening him with these feelings he doesn't reciprocate. I'm accepting that we're just friends, and that's beautiful in its own way. It still hurts my heart when we text, but that's okay too. It just needs time to heal. I won't be texting him so much anyway; putting in that buffer and whatnot.

I've signed up for therapy through my job and through my school. I'm going to be attending group sessions and individual counseling sessions. Honestly, I don't think I *need* it now, I'm just sad about being rejected and like every other time it will pass. Especially with this realization, I already know what I need to do going forward. But I've been wanting to go back to therapy for a while, even before any of this happened. I think it's important even if you're totally fine and content with life. It'll be good for me.

Anyway, that's that. Now the rest of the stuff that's stressing me out is what I need to focus on. I'll get around to journaling about that stuff these next few days. I'll get the routine back up.

Rohan Dating Hcs

~Rohan is certainly the type to scoff at his own feelings and set them aside, so he really has to like you to ask you out. He doesn’t fall fast either, preferring to date people he’s known for a while and letting his feelings grow over time. However, when he does finally acknowledge his feelings for you, he’ll embrace them in stride. He’ll be trying to impress you and show off his best self at every opportunity. As you two get closer and become an official couple, he’ll loosen up a bit, but your first few dates are very expensive and flashy.

~You become his sole confidant. If you thought Rohan was mean, his private thoughts are a whole lot meaner; after a long day out on the town, he’ll return to you with loads of gossip and sassy comments about his friends. Especially Josuke. He really feels like he can be his true self around you, and can rant and rave about whatever is on his mind with little judgement. You put him at ease.

~If you’re in a relationship with Rohan, you definitely influence his art in one way or another. While he’d enjoy it if you modeled for him- Hell, he’d probably use your likeness for a Pink Dark Boy character if you were okay with it- he’d also respect it if you didn’t want to. However, he’ll sketch you regardless. It may be that you’re always so close, or how the warm feelings he gets from you inspires him, but he can’t help but draw out your face from time to time. He loves seeing how flustered you get when he shows you the finished product. Of course, these would never be published without your permission, but part of him secretly wishes to. It’s some of his best work!

~If you’re an artist, I pray for you. He loves your art, of course, but he’s not one to hold back constructive criticism. While he’ll try to be nice about it, he can come off rather blunt and sound harsh. He’s also a bit of a backseat artist; if he sees you sketching, he’ll watch over your shoulder and critique as you go. It can get rather annoying at times, but at least his advice comes from a genuine desire to see you improve rather than malice. 

~Strangely, he’ll want to move pretty fast with you. With his extremely busy schedule, part of him knows the only real way for him to spend any substantial time with you is if you move in. So, if you’re up for it, expect to be moving your stuff into his house pretty early on in the relationship. To both your surprise and his, he really enjoys cute little domestic things: getting matching mugs, making dinner together, movie-night cuddles on the couch. Though, his undisputed favorite moment of domestic bliss is waking up next to you every morning, kissing your forehead while you sleep before he starts his day.

~He claims to not be one for lovey-dovey stuff like pet names or excessive kisses, but you can certainly convince him otherwise. While he is strictly against PDA, in private he can be very sweet. While he’ll usually call you by your name, you can squeeze out a “Dear” or “Darling” if he’s feeling especially affectionate. Rarely will he initiate affection unprompted, but on a good day, he’ll hug you from behind as you cook something and place chaste kisses to the side of your face. If you catch him on a very good day, he’ll shower you with all the love he can muster. 

~Despite that last point, he eats up your praise and affection like he’s a starved man. You can never do anything just once- if you kiss him while leaving for work, he’ll demand another. If you give him a hug before turning over in bed, he’ll insist you two cuddle. Don’t even get me started on compliments! Any off-handed praise you give him results in a, “Really? You mean that?” egging you on for more. Of course, he’ll act like he’s somewhat unfazed by your kind words, but it always makes his cheeks go pink and his heart beat a little bit faster.

~While he loves your praise, Rohan tends to hold back a little when it comes to verbal affection. He tends to show his love through quiet actions. But, when he’s in the mood to tell you how much he loves you, Rohan pulls out all the stops. Seeing as he’s a mangaka, he is very good with words, and knows just what to say to make your heart melt. 

~Somewhat bad at comforting you when you’re down. He knows you well enough to tell when you’ve had a rough day, but part of him is scared to approach you. He knows he can come off as rude sometimes and he doesn’t want to make it worse. So, he’ll silently make you a warm cup of tea, have something sweet waiting for you in your room- and retreat into his studio. Of course, if you’re extremely upset and crying your eyes out he’ll be there to cuddle you and cheer you up. But on just kinda-crappy days? Yeah, he’s doing the minimum.

~Rohan vows to never use Heaven’s Door on you, unless you ask him to or it’s an emergency. He’s ignored people’s boundaries in the past by using it, and he knows how pushing said boundary might ruin his relationship. While sometimes his anxiety tempts him to take a peek- to check if you’re thinking of leaving him or if you haven’t been loyal- he always stops himself. He doesn’t want to lose you, and that level of privacy invasion is too much for healthy relationship. Though his nerves may flare at times, he trusts you.

~Speaking of nerves, Rohan is always a little afraid his partner would cheat on him. He’s an extremely busy man, and sometimes it feels like he never leaves his studio. It’s easy to feel a little neglected from time to time. So, he fears that you leave when you know he’ll be working for hours, sneaking off to meet with someone else. While you assure him that this isn’t the case, he still gets jealous from time to time when he sees you being a little too nice to others.

~While he can be a tad prickly, Rohan is whipped for you, and he wouldn’t have it any other way!

Itzy Reaction to their S/O being Covered in Tattoos

This was my first request for an Itzy reaction and I was so excited because I love those girls so much, I hope you enjoy it!💜✨

Yeji

There was something about you that didn't let her eyes leave your silhouette, sitting across her, all the way at the opposite side of the cafe. Dressed entirely in black, a leather jacket draping around you brought in the exact pinch of mystery that called Yeji's attention. 

But just exactly as she was taking a sip of her iced tea, you had the fantastic idea of taking the leather jacket off, revealing your arms and neckline to be covered with various tattoos, your black shirt hiding so much more. Let's say that Yeji's body forgot how to deal with liquids at that moment, spraying everything over Ryujin, Lia and herself, making the few people around turn around to face them, including you. If she was nervous to talk to you before, now the nerves had doubled adding embarrassment to the mix. 

Standing up to the bathroom to clean herself, Yeji didn't notice you entering a few seconds behind her. She jumped startled when she recognized you, but you approached her with a smile. 

"Ah bummer, your shirt isn't going to dry quickly," You pointed at the obvious, your voice trembling.  You extended your hand, offering her your leather jacket. "Here, use this." 

She nodded, shyly taking the jacket from you. She agreed if you allowed her to buy you a pastry and you accepted with a chuckle. Both of you also found the perfect excuse to ask for your phone numbers. You know, only to return your jacket later. 

Add time to the mixture, and Yeji still doesn't understand exactly how one of the most embarrassing moments in her life brought the most amazing person into her life. 

Now, in the private comfort of your nights together, sometimes when you take your shirt off, she'll embrace you from behind, losing herself watching all the amazing illustrations engraved in your skin, gently caressing her fingers through them. 

Lia

By Chaeryeong's recommendation, this was finally the day that Jisu decided to go and take a walk in the park. But her stroll was interrupted when she heard the soft sound of a guitar playing close to her. She followed the music and directed her to you, who was peacefully sitting on a park bench, playing with chords and strumming patterns. But what caught her attention even more, was the sun lighting up such a variety of colors and pictures all painted across what she was able to see from your body. 

Even if you looked kind of hard to approach, you still awaked a fair amount of interest in Jisu, so she breathed in enough courage to talk to you, approaching slowly. 

"That sounds beautiful!" She tucked one strand of hair in her ear as she fidgeted with her hands. Her eyes tenderly scanning every drawing all over your body, prompted your cheeks to turn bright red. "Is it your song?" 

"Thank you!" You smiled, suddenly awakening something new in Jisu's heart. "It is mine, but I still can't get the lyrics right."

Bingo. She latched from that to make a conversation, offering herself to help you write. You couldn't help but notice how she couldn't stop looking at your tattoos, sometimes completely ignoring what you were saying. A great friendship sparked between you two from that moment on, but day by day, Jisu couldn't keep ignoring the butterflies in her stomach everytime she lost herself in the colorful collage that was your skin. 

So now that you two finally stopped ignoring your feelings towards each other and started dating, don't be surprised if she begs you to use more sleeveless shirts, crop tops, or tries to keep you from putting a shirt on as much as she can when you're alone. Jisu can’t help it, she just finds you a walking work of art, one that makes her go *keyboard smash* all the time. 

Ryujin

Ryujin doesn't really like to be told what to do, so she wasn't really amused by the idea of having someone unknown review her own choreography. But then you walked through the door, and she couldn't understand exactly how to feel about it. Your dark makeup and clothing, covered in tons of tattoos made her heart do flips in all directions, and she couldn't settle on feeling afraid, excited, intimidated or amazed. 

All this confusion made the usually confident and witty Ryujin all flustered as she couldn't even focus on the notes that you gave to her because her eyes refused to leave the illustrations engraved in your body. She only nodded at all your words, convincing herself that it was just fear what you aroused inside of her. 

But she was quickly proved wrong by her own thoughts, as you didn't seem to leave her mind at all; your eyes, your lips, the way your body moved, and especially, every drawing that was painted across your skin.

The next day, Ryujin opened the door and her eyes landed on you, calling all those feelings back in her. You glanced at her reflection through the mirror, smiling at her dumbfounded expression. 

"Oh hey Ryujin! I'm glad you could make it." You turned around, grabbing a little paper bag and handling it to her. "I bought some cookies and a coffee for you, hope you like them!" 

Right there, she melted on the inside. The cute gesture helped get her confidence back, making this rehearsal a blatant back and forth of pure flirting. 

It all grew up to become an amazing relationship, were one of your hobbies is to combine Ryujin's audacious attitude and your threatening appearance to prank people (Mostly Ryujin's groupmates, who are we kidding), but behind closed doors, no one could imagine that the most intimidating couple was all lovey-dovey with each other. 

Chaeryeong 

Look, Chaeryeong isn't one to judge people based on their appearance. She didn't mind that you were covered in tattoos at all, but how can she help it when you're known as the stone cold, intimidating, serious and bossy member of your group? And most of all, how was she supposed to breath now that you were standing right in the same practice room as her? Could you two be friends? Would you like her? Maybe find her cute? But what if you weren't her type? 

Your group and Itzy were collabing for a special stage at a music award show and she couldn't stop staring at you through the mirror, your stoic expression as you reviewed the steps of the choreography. She found her eyes straying to the rest of your body over and over again, tracing your tattoos in her mind, wondering how it felt to touch them. 

The rehearsal came to a break and you dropped over the couch, your members surrounding you. Chaeryeong kept staring from the other side of the room, but was a bit taken aback when, amid conversation, you let out the most gentle chuckle she had ever seen. In general, it was the first time she had ever seen you smile. Impressed by how your amiable aura wasn't going down either, she convinced Ryujin to help her approach you. 

Turns out, your stoic personality was mostly just a concept that you acted for the cameras, but the softer, more real side of you was what cemented her crush over you, especially contrasted with your threatening, and frankly quite attractive looks. Luckily for her, you did find her really cute, and you kept in touch after the awards, allowing much more to flourish between you two. 

Now that you two are happily in a relationship, she doesn't throw away the chance to relish on your tougher side either, running to the safety of your decorated arms every time she needs to forget the world around her. 

Yuna

You first met Yuna in a queue in an amusement park, when you were waiting to get on a ride. You were chatting with your group of friends when she caught your attention, and apparently it was mutual, since she kept staring at you and your few visible tattoos in your arms and neck. You chuckled at her wide eyes, as she locked them with yours. But she wasn't shying away from you. She instantly waved at you with a wide smile, nearing you. Yuna introduced herself, along with Yeji and Ryujin who were going on the ride as well. 

She wasn't afraid to start asking about your tattoos and their meanings, and honestly you didn't mind answering them either. Most of them were new, and you proudly showed them off to someone willing to listen. After a good while chatting and your mutual crush being obvious to everyone around, you both agreed on going up the ride together, since both your groups were in the odd numbers. 

From that day on, an amazing friendship grew between you two, and Yuna never lost the habit of asking for a meaning everytime that you got a new tattoo. Except for one day, where she pointed out one that didn't have any particular explanations, you just had tattooed it because it looked pretty and cool. Yuna nodded silently at the answer, lost in her own thoughts for some minutes. 

"What do you think about tattooing my face?" She blurted out, staring lost at the horizon. 

"Wha-" You blinked, startled out at the sudden question. 

"I am pretty and cool too!" She turned around, not an ounce of a joke in her voice. 

You couldn't help but giggle in response, the way she wasn't afraid to be herself just allowed your crush on her to keep growing everyday. Always enjoying each other's company, you were both excited at the idea of being something more in the future.

Jean loves spending time with you, no matter what you two happen to be doing. Though his favourite thing to do with you is just watch a movie and relax, especially because he loves resting his head in your lap while you run your fingers through his hair.

Jean, being the person he is, would say everything.

Jean tends to share everything with you. In general, he’s just a very honest person.

Before meeting you, Jean was constantly in a crappy mood, usually taking it on Eren more than anybody. He was also quite a flirt, not a serious player but like annoyingly flirty.

After meeting you, he calmed down a little. He swears it wasn’t because of you or anything, but his friends say otherwise.

I wouldn’t say it’s often, but when people neither of you know start getting a little too close, he does get jealous.

He’d probably try keeping it to himself, but communication is a big thing in your relationship so he does let you know. At least after he intimidates the person by wrapping his arms around you and kissing you in front of them.

K ISS - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Jean is a great kisser, at least he is when you both get past the shyness and awkwardness of the first stage in the relationship.

Despite how much of a flirt he was before meeting you, you were probably his first kiss. So you can guarantee he was a stuttering, blushing mess when you pulled away after the first kiss.

L OVE CONFESSION - How would they confess to their s/o?

M ARRIAGE - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Jean definitely wants to marry you, and he would know that from pretty early on in the relationship. Waking up by your side after you stay the night just isn’t the same, he wants to wake up and call you his wife/husband/partner.

He would want to plan the most cliche date, a fancy dinner, maybe a movie, before going someplace important to the both of you where he would pop the question. However, he just can’t wait. He’ll probably wake up beside you on one of those mornings, and just ask you out of nowhere.

N ICKNAMES - What do they call their s/o?

Of course he calls you the common ones like babe/baby, mostly in a joking manner. When he’s seriously being all lovey-dovey, it’s nicknames like sweetheart, princess/prince, angel.

O N CLOUD NINE - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

Jean, when in love, is so obvious about his feelings. He’s always blushing around you, he has a hard time speaking to you clearly, and he stares at you in such a loving manner.

He expresses his feelings through actions, as he’s a believer that actions speak louder than words! However, that doesn’t stop him from also reassuring you with words too, as he understands that some people need to actually hear it.

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

At the start he’s fairly shy, not doing much when others are around. But when you two grow comfortable with each other, and he knows whether or not you also enjoy pda, there is no stopping him from straight up kissing you in front of other people.

He’s also the type to always be holding your hand when you’re out and about. He’s such a touchy boyfriend, always wanting to be touching part of you in some way.

This dude can cook. Having spent a lot of time with his mother growing up, he picked up on a few things from her.

A lot of your dates are just staying home, enjoying meals that Jean makes for the two of you.

Jean is a huge romantic. But he’s constantly torn between cliche dates and creative ones. You go from dates where you draw each other at the park, to fancy dinner dates and a movie.

Jean calls himself your no.1 supporter for a reason! Whether it’s staying up till 2am to help you study, or running errands for you in his free time so you don’t have to worry about anything other than your goal. He’s there for you every step of the way!

I personally feel like when you fall into comfortable routine, Jean loves it the most. But if you want to spice things up, it’s not like he’ll stop you.

Jean knows you pretty well, he’s good at reading people. When you’re getting to know each other, he takes notes in his head about things you like and dislike, and probably never forgot them.

If you’re in a bad mood, he can tell just from a simple text, and you can bet he’s already on his way to pick up your favourite sweet food.

Like I said earlier, Jean is absolutely in love with you. So the relationship means a lot to him, especially since you both were friends before anything began to take a romantic turn.

If Jean listed the people in his life, it would be his family at the very top of the list, followed by his friends: lucky for you, he counts you as his family.

W ILD CARD - A random fluff headcanon.

Jean rides a motorcycle. He has a car too, sure, but whenever he picks you up he takes the motorcycle. He knows it’s dangerous in comparison to a car, but he likes the security that comes with having your arms around him when riding.

X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

Jean is very very affectionate. If you’re together at either of your apartments, there’s no way you’re not cuddling. He’ll be complaining about having to let you go even if you only need him to so you can go to the bathroom.

Y EARNING - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Jean hates it when you’re not around, whether you’re super busy or you’ve just gone away for a little, he hates it.

He likes being around you even if it’s in utter silence, so you two often FaceTime while just going about your daily night time routines. He probably watches you for a minute or two if you fall asleep on call, and he doesn’t hang up until the next morning.

Z EAL - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

I think Jean would go to great lengths for the relationship in terms that he would branch out of his comfort zone just to understand you a little better.

If a bad fight broke out between the two of you, and he realises that he’s being just a little too stubborn, he would let go his pride and be the first to apologise in fear of losing you. It says a lot, because he’s not usually like that. Typically he lets things cool down a little before trying to apologise.

The loud music of the bar blasting in your ears, the scent of those liquor filling your nostrils. Colorful led lights flashing, the people here are either filthy rich spendthrifts or debauched players.

Of course can not forget our signorina, a truly prominent designer, Miss Y/N Y/L/N.

You lay your back on the chair, crossing your legs. You have been looking at that one exact direction for ages, rossy glistening in your eyes, a slight curl displays on your lips.

“What are you looking at?”

Alicia asks, having no clue what catches your eyes since she’s sitting opposite you. But by observing your facial expression, she thinks that you have found your new prey. Couldn’t hold herself from curiosity, Alicia turns around to see the thing that grabbed your attention. After a moment glancing around the place, she finally finds that one bewitching ‘thing’.

“Y/N, you’re looking at him?!” Following Alicia’s finger, you nodded. She went blank for seconds and then frantically shakes her head. “Y/N, don’t play with fire. That man looks hot but inside him is a cruel, merciless monster!”

You didn’t look away from the man, nor blinking, however, feeling annoyed when your friend is babbling around your ears. “How could you know?”

“My dad told me! He’s the CEO of the NCT’s company, frankly a monster! Y/N look, a twenty-two-year old man only took a few years to have a blatant status around the world. Even my dad had it 15 years to be successful. You should know, that whole human being is not simple!”

In general, she’s trying to forbid you anyway.

You tilt your head to the side, “Isn’t it interesting?”. All of your ex boyfriends are the typical filthy rich young masters, they only know how to waste money buying luxury stuffs for you, as long as you like. Moreover, they are nothing but deadbeats.

What you want, who you want, is the man right before your eyes. He exudes a strong charm that you can’t even take your eyes of him. That majestic look, the arrogant face holds a pale smile which makes you feel that the whole world is collapsing in front of him. Suddenly you thought of an intention to subdue him, you must claim his heart at all cots.

The strong will in your eyes makes Alicia frightened. You were born in a high-class wealthy family so your biggest merit is prosperous and your defect is having a lot of money. Therefore it’s not strange when there are many guys having a crush on you. Until now, the number of your ex can be counted to dozens, even Alicia herself doesn’t play that much. It’s a fact that you just simply enjoy being loved by people, you have never been serious in your relationship. But this time she can not find any joking on your gorgeous face, there’s even determination and seriousness which makes her startled.

“Y/N! Y/N! Are you fucking crazy?!”

Alicia wildly yelled but you do not care, keep stepping towards the man. You know, you certainly know what you’re doing is insane but you still do it anyways. You can’t help yourself when those eyes looked at you, it’s like you’re standing on a mountain cliff. Even that faint smile, it’s a perfect cover and you want to ruin it instantly. The closer your distance is, the faster your heart beats. Your body is filling with both excitement and anxiety. The stripper of the bar is clinging on him, her hand comes to draw on his chest and suddenly she stands up to sit on his lap. The entire scene is captured in your eyes.

If there’s someone who is lunatic at the point no one can beat them, Alicia wants to give that award to you. You truthfully don’t know how outrageous Mark Lee is. Moreover, Alicia’s dad said that that guy is also one of the most infamous mafia boss, once he shows up, everyone is persuaded.

You’re facing Mark now, your stunning face is like a sparkle in the darkness, an irresistible smile appears on your lips.

“Mark Lee, I want you to be my man!”

One sentence, truly makes everyone frightened. Some are so scared that they don’t even dare to look, some are so thrilled to see what’s happening next.

How about Mark Lee?

His doe-eyes, glistening with some menace, is carefully observing you. Though, you didn’t faze, confidently facing him, pretend like you don’t feel the danger he’s radiating. You can affirm that this is absolutely the boldest thing you have ever done.

“You? You’re genuinely enchanting but daredevil like that, you must be an idiot. You’re insisting Mr Lee, who do you think you are?”, the stripper scornfully mocks you.

With this type of people, you don’t want to waste your time, “If I didn’t know who he is, I wouldn’t call him Mark Lee. Furthermore, there’s no need to know who I am, you only need to know I have money and I’m asking a man to be my boyfriend, it’s totally a normal thing!” Your words is like a knife, scratching her skin. “Oh, and put your hand off my man and get out of my way please!”

“Who are you to tell me to go?!”, she talks back.

“Enough! Go now!”, a low warm voice speaks up, like a cut in an intense string.

You cross your arms on your chest, not only appearance, even his voice is appealing.

“Still don’t want to go?”

You tilt your head, glancing at the stripper, “You really think that he told me to go?”

She frowns, thinking that you’re talking nonsense, “What else-“. She turns her head to the side, catching Mark’s sharp eyes, causing her to almost pass out.

“I said, you, go!”

The woman immediately stands up and quickly walks away, but she didn’t forget to give you a hateful look. You don’t care, your eyes are still sparkling with admiration towards Mark. She really ruined your bougie reputation. You naturally step forwards to take a seat next to Mark. Almost everybody was fazed, except of one man, Jung Jaehyun, who is smiling softly at you.

“You’re honestly attractive.”, he said.

You really don’t know if it’s a back-handed compliment. However you still be respectful, “Thank you!”

On the other hand, Mark Lee is quietly sitting there, the faint smirk is disappeared, even the red liquor in the glass is gone. Until now you can genuinely smile, “Hi! I’m Y/N L/N, the one and only daughter of the Secrectary of the Treasury. I really like you! Be my boyfriend, how about it?”

Jaehyun is sitting opposite, almost choked on his drink when he heard you introduction. And Mark Lee, from the beginning, has been simply looking at you with the different eyes from usual. Jaehyun shakes his head, “Y/N you should back off, he has already engaged with his fiancé.”

“Is she beautiful? Does she has a lot of money like me?”, you seriously ask.

Jaehyun doesn’t know how to say this, he silently look at Mark. “Pretty thing, she’s nothing compared to you but Mark loves her, a lot.”

Immediately, you raise your head up to give Jaehyun a glance, “Oh so it’s definitely that typical pathetic love. I don’t care!”

This answer...

Being brought through one by one surprise, Jaehyun feverishly chuckles, he walks towards you, “How can you be that sure?”, his face is an inch from yours.

You frown, pushing him away, “I can’t stand the alcohol scent!”

Can not stand alcohol scent.

“So why would you sit next to Mark this close? He drinks champagne!”, Jaehyun’s eyebrows furrow in confusion.

You lay your back on the couch, “Because I like Mark, I like whatever he does.”, you casually say. Jaehyun almost wanted to vomit all of the food that had been consumed in his stomach, your words were too lovey-dovey, weren’t they?

Suddenly, the one who has been keeping quite speaks up. “What drink?”

No one can understand Mark’s instant movement, however, you turn your head smiling widely at him.

“Mocktail!”

Alicia approaches you from a long distance, she has been perceiving everything. “Y/N, we have to go.”, she shoves her phone in her jacket, although she didn’t say anything, both of you still understand.

You take a deep breath, trying to ease the anxiety on your face. “Goodbye, we will meet again!”, you stand up, giving Mark the last smile.

Jaehyun looks at two figures walking away, wondering what happened.

The fun thing about making a self ship blog is that you can make it about anything you like! If you draw or write, you can share it! If you just want to reblog gifs or post screenshots of your f/o(s) and gush about them, you can do that too! There’s so many different ways to show love to your favorite fictional characters! One important tip I would give is interacting with others in the self ship community! We all are just a bunch of lovey dovey folks who enjoy seeing all the different types of relationships people have with fictional characters! Romantic, platonic, even familial! The fact that the community is so accepting of others is wonderful! And if your shy when it comes to reaching out to others, that’s okay! I still get nervous talking to other self shippers!Just reblogging and sharing other’s works is a lovely way to show you support their ships! Another thing you could do is make a carrd or a about pinned post to let’s others know who you are and what f/o(s) you have! And there might be days you won’t feel as active in self shipping, and that’s fine! Do it on your own time! Overall, do what feels natural for you, it’s your blog, made for YOU!
