⋆｡ﾟ☁︎｡⋆｡ ﾟ☾ ﾟ｡⋆ sushang was, at first glance, probably the least likely to be the type who'd jump on the same chaotic antics as you. given that she's training to be a respectable cloud knight, she seemed like the kind of person who would rather keep things straight and proper, but that definitely was not the case. she finds you very interesting and befriended you almost immediately. she's the type who also likes to ramble a lot about her day, so expect a lot of back-and-forth talk between the both of you! the both of you take turns with the dynamic of "talks a lot / listens a lot". sushang also seems to be the type who would engage in a playful banter with you outside of her duty. as a partner, sushang is very loyal; she probably acts most like a golden retriever around you: eager to cheer you up and help you out in any way. it's a common occurrence that the both of you hype each other up and jump up and down. though she can seem a little naive at times, often ending up misunderstanding some things, she's a very honest person and definitely demonstrates her affections through acts of service. she likes helping people out, but she places you at the top of her priority list. did i mention that she really loves your sense of fashion? sushang even ropes you into a shopping spree on one of her days off duty just to hear you talk about your fashion style, your choice in clothes, and take notes. sushang knows how it feels to get chastised constantly, so she never tells you off when you continuously ramble on and on.

⋆｡ﾟ☁︎｡⋆｡ ﾟ☾ ﾟ｡⋆ jiro was not the type to fuss himself over crushes, but boy does he crush over you hard. it's a funny scenario because you always seemed to glow whenever you're in your element, rambling about that new interest you had just cultivated. jiro is just a hopeless idiot, that he actually ends up approaching ichiro on what he should do. for a rather straightforward guy, he stumbles on his words when talking to you — which amuses saburo to no end, but the both of you end up having a really tight friendship, so ha, jiro wins the roulette of life for once. as a partner, jiro is the type of guy that's like "actions speak louder than words". he's a little slow when it came to all these romance stuff, considering that you're likely the first partner that he's ever been with, but he does his very best to treat you with the most care and respect ever. jiro likes hearing you talk about your day as he finishes up his homework, before the both of you decide to go on an after school hangout. he also idolizes his older brother, so at some point, expect that he probably would imitate the bravado of ichiro to impress you, but he realizes that it would probably be the best to stick to being himself. one of your common dates is to the arcade, where the both of you engage in a lot of friendly banter. jiro has the worst luck so he always gets beaten by you, but he'd go to the arcades every day with you if he could. if the both of you are too busy to head to the arcade, he invites you to the yamada residence and you guys play video games together.

⋆｡ﾟ☁︎｡⋆｡ ﾟ☾ ﾟ｡⋆ ace found you to be quite similar to him, so it was a quick first meeting where the both of you hit off almost immediately. cue riddle just groaning because now he has to deal with two people who acted like trappola. both of you would definitely banter ... like a lot. ace likes you very much, but it takes him time to actually realize the extent of his feelings. like ... this guy would probably say something like "haha, yeah, i'd love to hold joey's hand just so he won't get lost in the crowd" and every member of heartslabyul is just wondering how realization hasn't hit him yet. he feels so comfortable with you but when he does realize, ace starts acting more bashful and nervous around you because it's a new thing to him! as a partner, ace is someone who would make each day an exhilarating surprise. expect your dates to be very different from the previous; he likes setting the bar high and even higher, just as a way to show how much you mean to him. since he's also part of the basketball club, a scenario of ace dedicating a shot to you definitely happened. something along the lines of "this one's for you" with a wink, before completely missing the shot like the idiot he is, but the thought is there! ace makes sure to spend a lot of quality time with you when he can; he's not the best person to rely on in helping you with your work, but he'd probably crack the worst jokes so that you wouldn't feel stressed about finishing your daily tasks. the both of you would also walk around the halls of nrc after class, just catching up on each other's days.

A HYPMIC INTERACTIVE MOVIE??

Just saw the news about it. Ramblings below the cut.

I THOUGHT A SECOND SEASON OF THE ANIME WAS CRAZY, AND NOW A MOVIE!! WOOOO

The idea of an interactive movie and the poster in general has given me a lot of thoughts though.

Such as why is Doppo the only one not standing up among the divisions?

But also logistically is this going to be a full movie that takes the place of the drama tracks narratively, a pre-3rd DRB thing to set up the conflicts, goals and matchups?

Considering the poster seems to be in 3D I’m ready to expect this to be a sort of choose your own adventure somehow?

Or maybe this could be the first round of the 3rd DRB though I really don’t know how it’s going to be interactive if it’s in a theater (short of the crowd cheering = something happening).

But also if it’s a movie does that mean that there’s going to be one central conflict? Will there be time to explore individual smaller conflicts?

What is even going to be the plot considering that the most recent drama tracks have been about reveals or conflicts getting resolved. I have not listened to every song but I know a lot of them have become more chill.

Is this going to be canon? This movie is going to be canon right?

Since there’s going to be a Chuohku album this year, will Chuohku be joining the DRBs? Maybe like a final boss? Or fighting the last two champions?

I have a lot of thoughts on the potential matchups of the divisions.

How do you make a movie interactive? Will there be multiple endings?

Personally I’m not a fan of potentially the whole movie being 3D, but I’m hoping that this means we could get more animated action scenes with them using their rap abilities.

I’m holding out the slim hope that we get to eventually learn about Otome, Ichijuku and Nemu’s rap abilities.

RAP ABILITIES!! I really really want to see rap abilities in action. Maybe not exactly like the manga but I want them to talk about the abilities. Or just use them and have it be animated.

Here’s to also hoping for more interaction between divisions.

Gosh I hope they do well on this movie.

My hope is that there is something of a plot and that the movie pacing would be okay no matter how it turns out.

I like structure, so routines give me comfort. I like to have my day planned out in the morning or the day before. I’m fine with few and slight deviations, but many and larger ones not only give me anxiety but also piss me off. For these kinds, I want at least 1-day notice, so I can rearrange my schedule.

I like order and cleanliness, so messiness is one of my biggest pet peeves.

I’m not an adventurous person, so I like to stick to what I know. If I were to be put into an unfamiliar situation, such as taking a trip to somewhere I have never been, then I would do some research ahead of time. I guess you can say that I don’t like to wing it.

I’m an indoor person rather than an outdoor. When I’m outdoors, my favorite places to go are local and national parks; I like being surrounded by nature with little people around. When I’m indoor, I enjoy binge-watching, drawing, and playing video games (RPG, open word, action, adventure, puzzle, and mystery/horror/romance visual novels).

I struggle with new people, but I feel that I’m quick to warm up to others.

I really hate conflicts, and I’m terrible with confrontations. I worry about upsetting others as well as am scared of being hurt, so I avoid asserting myself even when I feel/think that I’m right. I’m very sensitive, so I tend to take things personally, even when I logically know better. These are some of the reasons why I prefer to be a follower rather than a leader.

I’m not a big talker and like to keep to myself, so I really like being with others who are comfortable with verbal silence and don’t mind that I’m just physically existing in the same space as them. I’m not much of a talker, but I like to listen to others talk when they’re troubled.

I get jealous and envious easily, but it’s never to the point of being possessive and vindictive.

Hello!♡ I've been reading your posts for the past couple of days and have to compliment how in character and good your writing style is!

I was wondering if I could get a hypmic matchup? I haven't seen anywhere that you don't take them in anymore but if that's the case feel free to ignore this♡

I'm a 5'6 straight female and have shoulder length ash brown hair and dress mostly in the acubi or punk style(depends mostly where Im going and how much energy I have lol). Personality wise, Im rather social and talkative, striking up a convo with someone and talking about a wide range of topics isnt a problem for me. I tend to be really bold and confrontational when it comes to someone being rude to me or someone I'm close with and am not afraid to be physical is the situation requires it. Most of the time Im pretty nonchalant and prefer to take things with a calm approach. I would say I'm also really good at comforting people, reading their emotions and knowing what to tell them to make them feel better. I have strong morals and will never do something rude, spiteful or revengeful unless its in a very specific and extreme situation simply because I dont see the point in making anyones life harder than it already is most likely.

As for hobbies, I really enjoy reading(mostly classics and manga) and watching shows or anime which mainly consist of slice of life, shojo or sitcoms. I also enjoy taking walks outside or hiking and exploring nature and I always take my dog with me.

Things are overall very sweet and soft, though a lot of your relationship issues deal with both your confidence and his fear of women, but he wants to help and support you as much as he can. You try to do the same, but if you’re trying to help him more than yourself, he won’t accept your support. Also, he is unconditionally affectionate to his best abilities, even if he is scared without the jacket.

Nicki You’re a hard one to pair. Sometimes I wanna say Doppo, sometimes I wanna say Hifumi, sometimes I wanna say Jakurai. But, mostly Jakurai. Here’s why. Reasons for Jakurai would be he would be the best at helping you, generally, and he’s pretty relaxed, which would be better than the other two who are much more prone to nervous breakdowns. Jakurai is good at making necessary decisions when the other two members are not, and it is necessary to face the fact that making a decision will almost never make everyone happy. You guys might argue on simple things like that but they’re not loud unless you make it as such. The other two have much less substance in reasoning and I cannot list those reasons as of right now.

Moth I pair you with Ramuda! I never thought I would say this, but it seems like you would be a good match. The contrast is astonishing and i’m honestly a sucker for it. You could honestly be a wake up call for him and, needless to say, a serious relationship with Ramuda is strenuous at best. He tends to have flings and any time he starts catching feelings he runs. My advice is don’t let him or don’t get attached.

Momiji I pair you with Gentaro. Arguments are minimal and for the most part, Gentaro just likes watching you and listening to you talk. Beware of the teasing, and a lot of just laying and calming activities. It’s sweet.
