Der "Wert" der BIG5 oder GAFAM (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft) ist größer als die Haushalte von vielen Staaten. Auch die EU mit 350 Millionen Einwohnern ist nicht mehr in der Lage die Konzerne in die Schranken zu weisen.

Seit Jahren geht die Wettbewerbsbehörde der EU mit Milliarden Bußgeldern gegen Google vor - auch gegen Meta (Facebook). Nun hat aktuell der EuG, das Gericht der EU, die von der EU-Kommission gegen ­Google verhängte Geldstrafe in Höhe von 1,49 Milliarden Euro kassiert.  Die EU hatte festgestellt, dass der Onlinekonzern, bei seinem Dienst "Adsense for Search" die eigene marktbeherrschende Stellung missbraucht hatte.

Bei diesem Google-Dienst können die Betreiber anderer Internetseiten für einen Anteil an den Anzeigenerlösen Google-Suchmasken einbinden. Bis 2016 hatte Google mit Ausschlussklauseln dafür gesorgt, dass es keine Konkurrenz geben dürfe. Der EuG hatte nun bemängelt, dass dies nur eine "zeitlich befristete Aktion" des Konzerns gewesen sei. Dabei hat Google mit Sicherheit seine Verträge nur deshalb angepasst, weil die EU gegen diesen Mißbrauch vorgegangen ist.

Nun kann die EU Kommission noch vor dem Europäischen Gerichtshof (EuGH) in Berufung gehen. Dieser Gang war kürzlich erfolgreich, als ein gegen Google erhobenes Bußgeld in Höhe von 2,42 Milliarden Euro vom EuGH bestätigt wurde. Man kann nur hoffen, dass die EU diesen Weg zum Gericht geht. Aber auch das wird den wirtschaftlichen Schaden für die Konkurrenten von Google in dem verhandelten Fall nicht wieder gut machen können.

“Can you do it again?” Regulus murmured, barely intelligible. 

“As many times as you want, love.” James brushed his thumb against Regulus’ forehead, then with the tip of his index finger he traced his nose, and continued the path all the way down to his lips and then his chin. James placed both thumbs on top of Regulus’ eyebrows at the same time and brushed them gently, then slowly began pressing soft kisses on each cheek, he would rotate from one side to the other and each would get closer to Regulus’ lips. 

“One day you will get tired of doing this,” Regulus said in a sleepy voice, a giggle adorning his raspy morning voice. 

James finally pressed their lips together and held between his hands his most valuable treasure. “I disagree.” James kissed him again. “I could never get tired of you.” Another kiss. “I love you.” 

Regulus pulled him closer, “I love you too.”

Silences between them were easy, never empty, filled with a comfortable love that they had taken their time building. 

“Jamie?” Regulus whispered into James’ warm chest. 

“I’ll do it again, love.”

One thing Regulus liked more than sex was the after-moment he shared with James.

Whenever the horniness started to wear off slowly, he became more clingy to him naturally. He hated being clingy, but also he was safe with James enough to not feel like he was embarrassing himself. It was okay, hell, to James he knew it was more than okay.

He was in James’ warm arms, leaving ghost kisses on his skin, he would never admit it but it gave him butterflies.

“Jamie…” he nuzzled against his neck, kissing it softly and looked up as he put a hand under his chin, “Are you sleepy?”

James slowly touched his cheek, and then his hair. He twirled one of Regulus’ curls around his finger and kissed his other cheek next.

“A bit, love,” he said, voice deep, “Are you?”

Regulus closed his eyes and grabbed James’ hand on his hip, kissed the inside of his palm and looked up to him again.

“A bit,” he sighed and he dropped his head to the side, resting his cheek on James' racing heart.

“James,” he said again, “Tell me a story.”

“Like a bedtime story?”

Regulus nodded as he closed his eyes slowly, “I want to hear our story.”

James traced his thumb at his bottom lip gradually and Regulus kissed it without opening his eyes.

“Once upon a time, there was a prince. Waiting for his charming prince…”

Regulus slowly drifted to sleep, and never let go of James from his arms.
