ok guys so like the whole umm war? shit is kinda rekindling again bcs the other minority abducted like children (and two wives + a grandmother) of our minority and like k*lled them. there's talk about there being an internet ban again to stop information and hate from spreading on social media and it sucks cuz the prime minister/minister of our state isn't doing shit to stop this war at all. im so sorry i don't know when the ban will actually take effect or when it'll be lifted. ill try to give more information later on, sorry.

nearing holiday break, you were always excited to return home. ─ because while you got to see your uncle every day at school, it wasn't the same as returning home with him to spend the holidays in tradition, much like it used to be before you were accepted into night raven college. a bit of normal can be comforting, you've learned, and you enjoyed those moments.

"hi uncle!" you greeted as you entered the classroom, early before any of your peers could arrive and fill the seats.

crewel glanced up from his papers on his desk and smiled at you as you circled the desk to stand beside him. he raised his hand to pat your head, careful not to mess up your hair, "hello, pup. what are you doing here?"

"i came to see you of course!" you snickered as he rolled his eyes at you, "and break is coming up, i wanted to ask you something."

crewel set the papers in his hand down to give you his attention, gesturing for you to continue.

"i was hoping we could visit that bakery we used to go to when i was little? i miss their cakes, and it'll feel just like before!" you grinned, locking your fingers together and holding them in front of your chest, "pretty please?"

crewel sighed, but there was a smile on his face as he pats your head once more and turned back to what he was doing before, "of course we can, no need to beg."

you cheered and he chuckled, waving you off, "now get going, you have a class to get to."

"oh, right," you nodded and placed a hand on his arm, and he leaned down so you could place a kiss on his cheek (that same goodbye you've been doing since you were young), before quickly turning away to exit the room, but not before calling behind you, "thank you! love you, see you later!"
